ATTENTION!! KITCHEN LAST CALL 1130PM NIGHTLY!!! Family-owned and family friendly venue serving Traditional Thai Menu with a focus on healthy and fresh preparation. Many gluten-free, vegan, vegetarian and seafood options (Kitchen may temporarily stop taking orders during very busy time frames).
This place truly never disappoints. I order here often and I usually like to stick to things I’ve already tried and liked, but I’m actually not worried about ordering new items here because everything tastes amazing! I definitely recommend their fried rice (both mama’s special and red curry fried rice) and both soups Tom Yum and Tom Kha are amazing. I’ve recommended this place to many friends and they all loved it.
From the moment we walked in, it smelled bad. We took our seats and ordered something small like spring rolls and they were burnt.
Then we ordered fried rice and beef salad and it took a long time with the additional *ring ring ring* from the phone every 5 minutes.
Then when the food arrived, the beef salad was the driest salad I've ever eaten and the fried rice wasn't really good.
This place needs to focus mor on quality than quantity. That's why I rate this place 2 Stars.
Probably the most disappointing Thai food I’ve ever eaten. Look at my reviews. I eat Thai food all over the world.
I usually order a red curry or a beef salad.
This was the DRYEST- worst beef salad I’ve ever tried to eat. lol it’s so dry it’s sort of funny. It’s like beef jerky. No lime or fish sauce?
They got the spice right. It’s spicy. But it’s like they forgot any sort of liquid or made this on Mars. I dunno . DRYYYYY! lol
One lady was running the whole restaurant so I give her a pass for being slow.
This is the energy corridor folks! The lease on this building a month is more than my vehicle costs. What a let down.
The spring rolls were double cooked for us. We feel special as we ate burnt rolls.
So disappointed.
I can’t describe the well of despair I’m sitting in typing this review staring at this beef jerky salad.
So disappointed
After a tiring journey, we decided to have a quick dinner at this restaurant that looked appealing from the outside. However, the Thai Food did not meet our expectations. The green curry was too watery and the vegetables were undercooked, giving it a raw taste. Additionally, it lacked the authentic curry flavor when eaten with rice. On the other hand, the crab Ragoon was a good choice, but the Fried Dumplings were not impressive. Out of all the dishes ordered, the Pad Thai was the best. The service was fast and friendly. We might consider returning to this place if we see improved reviews on Google in the future. 🍛 🍜
This place has very authentic Thai food with a great modern atmosphere. We ordered the crispy egg rolls, yellow curry, larb, and mango sticky rice. It was very delicious. The staffs and owners were very personable as well. Come check it out, it won't disappoint!!! We'll definitely be back!!!
Such a great place, the food is actually good, they actually add heat to their dishes if you like spice. The manager is kind, they are open late on the weekends. All the waitresses try their best to make you feel comfortable.
Some of the best Thai food we have eaten in Houston. Their service was excellent and prompt. Definitely recommend their massaman curry, Khao sway and thick flat noodles. Must try if you are a Thai food enthusiast!
this was the BEST thai restaurant on Eldridge but recently food has been off.
ordered Pad Kee Mao and it was sooo eggy like they reused the same oil over and over again and Very little salt
and this time i ordered basil fried rice which i have also had many times before and it needed salt and color for sure. They used to add soy sauce or something to give it a nice brown color but now it’s just white.
there was also no salt again this time.
Food is now average. that’s such a shame because i used to recommend this restaurant to everyone!
The chicken dumplings and the shrimp and beef pad Thai was a 10 out of 10. The tum kah soup was good, but it wasn’t the best I’ve ever had.
Great food, Great service and very accommodating to dietary restrictions!! The mango sticky rice is fantastic! Love this place.
Best steaks hands down!!!
Best place around outside of the tollway for real food.
Fresh Thai coconut! No duck.
This is pretty good Thai Food! I’ve always had a nice experience with the guy who works at the front and takes phone orders. They have a bar if you’re looking to get a drink as well. The chicken satay and Thai Basil are the way to go.
Relaxed atmosphere, lots of vegan and vegetarian options
The food was bland and disappointing. The mango sticky rice was barely edible.
This restaurant is consistently good every time I come here. The pad see ew is always perfectly cooked and the spice level is always on point. Their prik nam pla is a perfect balance of spicy, salty, and sour, leaning a bit more on the sour side, which is how I prefer it. I've also had their pad kra pao before, which was excellent and authentic. Very fair prices. One of the best Thai restaurants I've had.
Ordered from door dash JUST NOW.
They forgot my $7 sticky rice and they made my papaya salad well over thai hot when I asked for medium which was a level 2 out of 5. They made this so damn spicy nobody on mother earth can eat this. & I’m southeast asian myself and I know my grandparents wouldn’t even be able to eat this papaya salad. The papaya salad came out bright red. This salad isn’t even made to be this spicy for this dish to be pigmented red?! let alone I got a level 2. At this point I feel like someone in there had a bad day and this on purpose. Like how are you gonna forget my sticky rice and make my salad overly spicy. And did I forget to mention, I ordered it at 11 o’clock So I KNOW it’s not like it was busy or anything, where they just simply “forgot” my rice or made my salad like that by accident. Shame on this restaurant I am FURIOUS. $40 down the drain for 2 things is crazy and I can’t even eat one of them because they were trippin on the spice.
We had a good lunch me and my kids, enjoying eating outside in the sun. The food was above my expectations, steak was really good.

So disappointed
Order delivery did not deliver food and no confirmation email for delivery. Restaurant denied to hold the food for pickup by ourselves
Very good food with friendly staff.
Amazing hands down my favorite Thai place
Been coming here for the last 3 years and have never been disappointed!!
Food was subpar. Had better Thai food in Sugarland, TX. Was here for a meeting with a vendor.
My favorite place to get Thai food
Went for a business lunch and never got our food. The service was pitifully slow. Will not return.
Good helping of chicken in my pad thai, can't go wrong here !
Delicious Thai food. Spice levels are great. A level 2 will build and become hot by the end of the meal, perfect. My only complaint is I wish there were more green veggies in the courses.
The food is good, adjustable to individual tastes. There are lots of options.
Me and my partner been getting the panang curry, pad thai, and three thai teas from this place going on 5 years now, and they never let us down. My friends who have gone on my recommendation say the pad see ew, green curry, and yellow curry are also fantastic. Best thai food in houston, HANDS DOWN. No contest. Flavor, spice, textures, portions, service, everything is always the BEST. Lunch portions for the lunch special are smaller. Still solid, but they are smaller, so check what time youre ordering so you know which size you'll be getting to avoid surprises. They pack to-go orders excellently, never had a spill in 5 years. Wish i was eating the food right now. The naam khao yearning hit hard, thats why im on here writing this review. You gotta go! Also the sticky rice dessert is great :)
We tried the Massaman curry with white rice and it was very delicious and flavorful. Will definitely be coming back.
I've eaten here several times!! Beautiful place with beautiful food served by beautiful people! 10/10 I'll probably be back this week!! Delicious cucumber water while I waited for my takeout! Didn't take a picture of the food because I'm an idiot but it was so good and didn't last long!
place is comfortable, service was very friendly and attentive even when the girl was taking care of the bar and also the FOH. Thai tea is very yummy! and the food was good
Quantity, quality of the food ok, and service is fine.
The House fried rice was so delicious. They offer the choice of mild to very spicy!
Love the shrimp glass noodles!
Simple lunch. Food very fresh. We had “level 2” which had plenty of spice for me!
This is the best Thai restaurant in Houston, actually not only Houston. We went there so many times and now our regular order has become the red curry fried rice (Khao Pad Gaeng Dang) and the Thai Railway Fried Rice (Khao Pad Rod Fai) and the Thai iced tea. Their small size Tom Yum soup is enough for 2 people. We also tried Pad Thai from here which is served as the Thai Street food Standard.
Their desserts are also mouthwatering. We tried the mango sticky rice and the sticky rice with custard. Both were just perfect.
The customer service here is great. They are attentive to your order and always have a smiley face towards you. If you are in Houston and looking for the best Thai restaurant, I would highly recommend this restaurant.
EAT HERE ! Upon walking in I was helped and asked if I wanted water while I wait , I just came from another Thai restaurant where I had a horrible experience so decided to try NAAM . I was attended too several times and felt seen . Food was good and customer service was even better! They have a large menu selection as well . I’m not one to leave reviews unless I’m impressed .
The best Thai food in Town
Their food is amazing and it’s open late which is a huge plus! Only missing a star because I wish they used more Thai chillis to spicen up their food instead of chilli powder ! Our go tos are papaya salad, green curry, fish and pad kee mao!
We come here often. Everyone is so kind. The food is very good and has excellent flavors. We highly recommend it.
I've tried this place twice now and it's just ok and too pricey for just ok. My pepper steak had about 7 pieces of beef in the entire entrée. I also had the tom kha soup but it was missing the zing of fish sauce and lime that I'm used to. The thai tea and Thai coffee were meh... not strong and flavorful. Overall, a little bland for me.
Loved this place !
Amazing taste and large portions. Fresh veggies and ingredients. Excellent Service. Unique food choices. Homemade sauces. Option to sit at bar, restaurant seating, or outdoor flower area. Been to a lot of Thai places and this is one of my new favorites.
Photo of the Taro Tapioca
Also got Drunken Noodles and Eggplant Stirfry. Highly recommend
Most Authentic Thai Cusine in Houston 👌😋😋 A Must Recommend for All Thai Food Lovers 😋😋
My experience last night was disappointing my waitress didn’t write anything down and completely forgot my partner’s entree. She probably checked on us once after bringing our food. Not to mention it was only us and another couple there so they were not busy. They also gave us mid food we order the spring rolls they were the size of our pinky’s and they gave us 4 of them while the others had about 10 on there plate, my “fresh” coconut was not fresh at all and we paid close to $100 bucks for some pretty mid food.
This cute Thai restaurant is probably one top 3 list of my choosing for Thai food. Ever since I discover it couple of years ago. I have been coming back ever since.
Reason I love it is because I think they are very authentic. I’ve been to Thailand and we were doing street eating every day so I know what’s authentic. The beef noodle soup with meat ball has the most intense flavor of all the other Thai place I have been.
The creamy chicken tofu soup was so spicy yet so good. You can’t eat it yet you can’t stop eating it.
The flavor is rich and creamy makes the chicken very Tasty too. When the dish arrives on your table you are probably already drilling.
Clear glass noodle with veggies are always great.
They have a very nice out patio seating, perfect weather for dine outside.
Highly recommended, worth your time going.
Great food, great people! Always visit when we are in the area and we're never disappointed!
This place is great! The food is authentic and delicious. You get a good bang for your buck and it’s a great place for casual dining. Highly recommend.
I absolutely love Nam Khao! What drives me in are their late night hours and fantastic food they offer! This has become a neighborhood staple. If you’re searching for homemade food and authenticity this is your spot!
Best Thai on the west side of town, and open late too. Excellent patio space and selection of drinks.
Great Thai food, super authentic
This place has some really great options, loved the different spice levels. Service was excellent and attentive entire time. Food was good, order dumplings, spring rolls, pad see ew & drunken noodles. The spring rolls was the highlight, very fresh, hot and tasty. Steamed dumplings was good with nice garlic crunch on top. The noodle dishes was amazing, I'd prefer my noodles a little less done so it doesn't get to the mushy consistency. The place does need a update, old decor, paint and furniture everywhere. Flavor was consistent with authentic flavor, will definitely be back.
Edit:
Second time I came they told me 40 min wait and the place wasn't full. Service was less than the first time which is a disappointment
Food and service is always great.
I'm very pleased with this place! The service was fast and kind. The menu covered all the favorites and then some. The Thai tea and pad kee mao were some of the best I've had. The pepper cheese rolls were a new one for me, but an immediate favorite. Icing on the cake? They are open very late!!
this was the only option open late at night on Uber Eats so I figured I would try it because it had decent reviews. 12 other people rated the pad woon sen and fried rice 100% 👍 so I thought It would be really really good. The portion of the noodles is huge, however, I have never had any other pad woon sen Have this flavor to it. It has a weird aftertaste. It’s also not very saucy. It’s pretty dry. Not sure what the flavor is. I’m tasting but I definitely don’t care for it.
The side of fried rice is pretty greasy and doesn’t have a normal thai fried rice flavor either
Good food and nice environment. Pepper steak is my favorite thing to get here. Watch the spice level thoe. Medium was more than enough for me.
$20 for one serving of curry is ridiculous
Amazing food and service
I dream to become a regular here. Always great food, drinks, and new friends to meet here. Amazing steaks too!
Tried the pad Thai... It was okay but I have had better. Casual dining place
Outdoor dining arrangement is good but the food is the worst.
Edit: The Massaman curry I ordered was particularly bad, and I made sure to convey my dissatisfaction to the server. Not only was the curry subpar, but the chicken in it was undercooked.
Moreover, the overall quality of the dishes seems to have declined over the past year. Additionally, the shrimp, particularly in the Pad Thai, was noticeably raw. The fried tofu was the only dish that met my expectations.
I found the food to be overpriced considering its substandard quality.
Good spicy food.
This is my favorite Thai place in Houston. Friendly atmosphere with nice people and really good food. Great place for outdoor dining when the weather is mild. Nice spice and some things on the menu that I don't see too often. Excellent mix of regional Thai cuisines.
We might consider returning to this place if we see improved reviews on Google in the future. 🍛 🍜
The lunch specials are great and priced really well. It includes a soup (different each day and most are vegetarian friendly), veggie egg roll, and dessert! For the entree there's plenty to choose from...curries, fried rice, noodles, and more. I got the panang curry with tofu which I enjoyed very much. Very flavorful, authentic, and the spice level was just right. There are so many options for vegetarians too! Service was great and attentive. Plenty of seats and parking. Looking forward to coming back to try other items.
I went to get some take out and usually it’s all good. But this time the server completely rushed me, I asked for my soup to be spicy and it wasn’t. I asked for vegetables, chicken, and shrimp only got chicken. The soup is incredibly bland without any spicy or extras. Server was really the only problem cause usually the service here is good. But way to make a bad day even worse.
One of the best pad thai I have ever had. Also, gotta love those business hours. It is a long drive for me. But, it is my new go to. Checkcheck check it out.
One of the most delicious thai food
Always consistent too
Best Thai spot in Houston! We have never had a bad dish and our orders just increase with dishes we love! Best Pad See Ew I have ever had. Great service because of great people. I left my purse there over the weekend and didn't realize I left it there until many days later. They had it safe and secure with nothing touched. Amazing!
Small place, little crowded and very good food
Great food. The crispy spring rolls are the best. I loved the Pad Thai. The entrees are very spicy. The menu is very clear about spice levels, except one in my party who is not used to spicy food got the lowest level and still could almost not eat it. Don't get cocky!
Lots of vegetarian and vegan choices.
Excellent Pad Thai. Highly recommended. We will be back
Best Thai food in Houston, TX!
I love this place 🤩
Amazing and very authentic Thai dishes. Food was so good I forgot to get pictures. First time coming and I had amazing service and very good Thai food. I will definitely be coming back here.
So good! 😩
My favorite Thai place in Houston
Hands down the best Pad Thai in all of HOUSTON, TX. Trust me you will not be disappointed!
All I gotta say is Food and service is 12/10! Even when I did take out you can tell they have regular customers. I had the house fried rice with Beef and Shrimp. I also had the sticky rice. So yummy!!!!!!
Best Thai food in all of Houston!!! Authentic, top quality and incredible staff. Friendly, fun and delicious!!
I had the Thai Tea, Fish Cakes for the appetizer, Boat Noodles with Pork for the entrée and Mango with Sticky Rice for the dessert. They were delicious. I will be back next time if I want some Thai food. Mmm mmm.
Nice jazz music and food was also good. Nice service and overall must try place .
My favorite pad thai in the energy corridor.
Deliciosa comida, y la atención excelente 👌muy recomendado
This place has very authentic Thai food with a great modern atmosphere. We ordered the crispy egg rolls, yellow curry, larb, and mango sticky rice. It was very delicious. The staffs and owners were very personable as well. Come check it out, it won't disappoint!!! We'll definitely be back!!!
Lovely place with very good food and thousand smile atmosphere. Stopped by after the gym, listened to May singing with an amazing voice, and had some tasty dumplings and delicious Tom Kha Goong that was really good not to mention the perfect mango sticky rice. Fish Tofu also was delicious.
I had a chance to chat with Pookie, the lovely owner, who clearly enjoys meeting customers with a smile, lots of affection in this place.
Thursday night usually features May singing along with Karaoke, dont miss out.
Perfect for single diners as you won't feel alone here.
I come back regularly. Chiyo!!
Wasn’t my usual experience. Disappointed
The steaks are amazing and freshly cut. Had ribeye and strip both. Couldn’t have been happier. Do yourself a favor and get the steak.
The service was no good; we got our appetizers after our meal, but the food was delicious
I was very disappointed. I paid $18 for a tiny lunch saute and Thai tea. Tiny rice, some carrots and a tiny bowl of veggies with shrimp with a total of three shrimps that cost $3 extra. I wouldn't normally be upset but I thought this was a rip off. The portion should have been much bigger for the cost.
The outdoor lounge is very cute though.
Great food, made to order, and they aren't afraid of spice! Be wise when deciding the spice level for your dishes. Definitely big enough to share, will be back again!
Food was ok, but what a fun and funky place. A little small restaurant with karaoke. Wasn't expecting it. Had bar and outside seating as well. The actual singer was good! Table tried different dishes and it was meh to really good. Steamed dumplings were really great said all that tried the appetizer. Service was a bit slow and one person had to wait quite a bit before he was served. Makes the table feel weird when that happens ya know? I might come again just because it's different and that is why 4 stars otherwise it would be 3 overall.
Great location.First time here. They even have a small bar that wasn't busy at all. Quiet atmosphere. I had phad tai.
I love that this place opens late! The Thai basil with chicken is delicious! Thai tea is very good. Loved the drunken noodles, but the Thai basil really was the best thing in my opinion. Staff are super friendly and helpful. I am definitely a recommending and returning customer.
Service was good. Food was reasonable priced but not very good.
Our first time here and we were very impressed! We ordered the tomahawk which was AMAZING! We also ordered a variety of of “typical” Thai dishes to taste. The yellow curry was great, it’s hard to find a good yellow curry imo. We also had drunken noodles which had an almost a smokey flavor. The fried rice was also really good. The spice levels were on point. It reminded me of a fusion type restaurant. Give it a try you won’t be disappointed.
11/10. We started with the steamed pork dumplings; Amazing! And Thai tea was also fantastic! Then we ordered the Panang Curry w fried tofu, Pra Ram w chicken, Pad Kee Mao w chicken, and Pad Woon Sen w beef, and all 4 dishes were PHENOMENAL. Unlike other Thai restaurants, we get the hottest thai spicy level, and it's never hot enough, but here... OMG! Thai spicy(4) was perfect for me, and spicy(5) was perfect for my friend (it actually made me sweat and tear up a little LOL). The Pra Ram we did get at a 4 and wish we had gotten at a 5, as the sweetness of the peanut cut the heat a bit. But across the board, all of the flavors were fresh and on point. All of the dishes were executed with such authenticity, everything was memorably delicious! This is the best Thai restaurant I've been to in over a year, and the best I've been to in Houston!
Used to like this place before. Their standards have gone down. It looks like the people who take to go orders are not aware of the menu or what goes in your order.
Food was so good and they are very friendly
Very authentic!
It's divey with a cool friendly attitude that cranks out authentic fresh Thai. It's without question the best I've had in Texas.
This was not it. Something is wrong with their plumbing/water. Their glass of water has a really weird taste. So does the the rice and soup they cooked in the water. If you hate mushrooms like I do it tasted like mushroom water 🤮 Then towards the end of my visit I could smell sewage.
Not to mention the service. After providing the sewage water in a glass no one came to take our order for 20 mins until we flagged someone down. Then our order took forever to come out when there were only maybe 4 groups dining.
This was not it chief.
Clearly the worst Thai food in Houston. Food Service was terribly slow. 45 mins before served. Discovered they prepped to-go orders before in dining guests. And when delivered, food was either overcooked, bland and noodle-less soup. Truly a disappointment for Thai restaurants. Kinda feel bad for all those to-go orders only to discover the substandard meal only on delivery!! Worst part was trying to impose a 20% group tip on all in-dining service past 8pm!!! Be warned, If you must go here for awful service and food, at least do so before 8pm. Definitely not worth the money spent.
Very delicious, but pricey.
Pleasant surprise
Misleading with hours. Was craving late night thai food. When i walked in, i was told the kitchen was closed only the bar was open. Please disclose this somewhere. Was highly disappointedly
We stumbled across this place right before the pandemic, and it has become our go-to Thai takeout spot for years. Everything we've had here is top notch, but I'd give a special shoutout to the Thai-style pad krapow and the cashew chicken. I particularly appreciate that, if you ask for it, they will make things actually spicy.
We've dined-in a few times for lunch and had good experiences. But most of our meals have been take-out, and they have done a great job. Portions are generous and well-packaged and have been ready on time.
Excellent thai place, one of the best around. Service is always great and the food and drink menu are well worth the visit.
I've came to this spot twice already and I gotta say each time has been amazing for me. I came here with my husband and colleagues after an event and we all order appetizers and steaks to enjoy. They had this special spice sauce that chef himself brought out and would check to see how the food came out. Staff was very friendly and would come by to refill drinks and ask if we needed anything else as we enjoyed the karaoke portion for the night. A nice little spot I would come to once in a while with husband and friends where I know they would have good food and wine.
This place was just okay , service was average I ordered pad woon sen #4 spice level (glass stir fry noodles)asked for less vegetables 85% of of the meal ended up being vegetables& it wasn’t spicy at all which the waitress was very hesitant on me ordering that level 🙄..the mango sticky rice was delicious!
Demora en el servicio. Servicio de mier..
Everything you want in a neighborhood restaurant. Great food at great prices and a family feel.
They don’t tell you they’re adding 20% gratuity to your bill automatically. For any size group. Not right!!
Great place good people. Very good entertainment the lady singing was off the hook
Looks like they already have quite alot of profit so theu don't entertain customers now. They don't pick up the phone and most of the times just put it on a voicemail. 2 times we went there and they said they weren't serving. They didn't pick up the call to confirm which led us wasting our time. Their utensils were dirty and servers are just not ready to serve. We had to ask 5 times for water one time. Looks like its time to find a new place. If possible don't ever go there. Their attitude in general is poor. I was a frequent customer of their since 3 years. And they have changed alot. From humble, polite and customer friendly staff to aggressive staff who don't answer and just keep the phone on voice mails. Worst restaurant in katy.
The bartender (June 15th 2023 around 6pm, Thursday shift with short buzz cut) has a really poor attitude in general.
I ordered lao papaya salad and he used "stinky" to describe the flavor. I'm Asian myself and am no stranger to fish sauce smell. It is not "stinky". If your serving staff doesn't respect asian flavor then they probably shouldn't be serving in an Asian restaurant. Just saying.
The Asian lady who brought out the food however is very nice and friendly. But the micro- aggression from the bartender left a bad taste in my mouth.
Nice laid back atmosphere for adults
Always fresh and delicious
Great food and very friendly staff.
The food is great - the place is really dope. I like pookies garden 🪴
Great overall restaurant, one of my favorite local spots , a special getaway , I recommend the house fried rice, and the stir fry bock choy
