Wow! Can’t stop thinking about my meal and ready to go back soon. Stumbled upon this place on Google and went for lunch at an off hour and was the only person dining in. Nondescript and unassuming locale don’t quite describe the place. Having only a little experience with Lao cuisine, I wanted something I’ve never had and ordered the Tum Mua. The flavors were incredible and freshness of the ingredients was evident. I had a feeling this place didn’t mess around when it came to spice so I ordered a 3/5 which still had me sweating.

When I checked out I picked up a bag of fried banana chips to take home which turned out to be deliciously fresh and crispy as well.

The owners/employees were very kind and welcoming. The place is clearly family run with lots of care.

I will have to go back and try more of the menu including some of the Thai Curries that I am more familiar with for comparison. So I won’t pass final judgment yet, but the food here maybe, just maybe, is in the top tier for food in DFW. Was not expecting that.

I had lunch here today and it was Amazing.
I tried the Thai Fried Rice with chicken and also the Pad Thai with chicken. Both meals were hot, tasty with good size portions.
Service was equally as good.

Went here for Sunday dinner with girlfriend. AC isn’t turned on for your comfort, Texas summers are hot and this just made the experience bad. Also, they only have like 2 cooks. We waited for 1 hour with just our drinks, seeing other people were getting served before us. I asked out waiter (nothing she can do, she apologized and took care of us. She’s definitely not at fault here.) how much longer will our food be and she said 30 minutes. Went to Asian nights instead. Better food and get served your food faster. Like I said, our waiter ain’t at fault. It’s how they run the place, they clearly cut corners. Just go somewhere else, I’m not going to wait 1 hour and 30 minutes for Pho. Absolutely not.

Visitting family ordered foods through Door_Dash. I ordered Papaya Salad extra spicy I LOVE IT!

BUT the peppers were the best!!!

I have tried a bunch of Thai Restaurants throughout the DFW area. Out of the 15+, none have as good of a panaang curry as Dao Lao. The Pad Kra Pao is also incredible, and both dishes had the best vegetable selection. The prices are hard to beat, and they were really nice. This place is a must try, I will be back!

Very friendly service with excellent pork belly and an amazing pad kra pow. Google shows a grocery store at the location, but its really an awesome Lao and Thai restaurant. Server and chef were both very kind and professional.

This place is always great and welcoming. You will never find a stranger person here. BYOB. Great place to watch games or listen to music. The food is awesome!

Great place try the Beef Larb healthy spicy and good service

Unfortunately, there are new owners and the food is lacking a lot of flavor. This used to be our favorite Thai place in DFW. We are disappointed.

The food is always good here.

We have been multiple times, love everything but especially the Beef jerky, Tom Yum shrimp and fried tilapia 💚

Lao sausage is excellent and so is their Pho broth.

Ordered and the restaurant never confirmed my order or made it. Stay away from ordering online with this restaurant. They don’t pay attention to what comes in online. I ordered for pick up at 7:30 pm. Website said 20 mins. By 8 I had no update so I drove over. Manager or owner walked over and asked if I was picking up. He looked at the screen and said my order didn’t come through. I showed him my confirmation. He said I must have used a fake site. I told him it was Door Dash. He said, “Oh, let me check that system.” It was on a different iPad in his store and it never occurred to him to check all their system before telling me he never received my order? If you’re going to maintain separate systems for online orders at least look at all of them before you tell the customer who paid online that you don’t have their order.

Then once he saw it he said, “We didn’t make your food because we didn’t see it. We never confirmed your order.” I told him I couldn’t wait and asked for a refund. He told me to call American Express. No, why would I challenge the charge? Just refund me, please. Then he said call Door Dash. I asked him to just confirmed then cancel. He said he couldn’t. I walked out, got to my car, and was on the phone with Door Dash when a text came through saying my order was confirmed. I had to go BACK inside and ask, “I thought you said you weren’t confirming it?” He said, “I hit the wrong button. I’m refunding you now.” He did. What an organizational mess. I would never trust the food out of sight if this is how things run upfront. An hour after ordering and a drive across town I had no food and only frustration.

Probably the best authentic Laotian restaurant in Fort Worth area!

As of August 2023 the new owner and her husband cares about this restaurant they closed down for a week and cleaned and gave this place some T.L.C. which was really needed, the food is much better and the service is faster, give this place a try. It's really good you will not be disappointed!!!

While visiting DFW area, my wife (who is Thai) was needing a Thai food fix. We found this place on Google maps and decided to give it a try. We were a little apprehensive at first due to its location and exterior. The indoor wasn't much better. When we saw "grandma"in the kitchen, we got excited. We were NOT disappointed at all. The prices reflected the lack of "atmosphere." This is true Thai/Lao Street food. The staff were very friendly and attentive. If you're looking for fine atmosphere you'll be disappointed. If it's authentic food quality, you'll certainly find a gem in the rough. BE ADVISED: If you're really offended by strong, flavorful foods this might not be your first choice. But give it a try and open your mind to an awesome dining experience!

I went with a friend, who was dragging me out of the house to be social.
The food was the best i've had. Not the best Asian food. The best FOOD.
The service was as if I was important. The atmosphere was fun. Football was on every TV. I enjoyed my time and stayed well beyond the time it takes to eat. I left before they began Karaoke, and I'm betting I missed something truly awesome.
I recommend this restaurant with more than 5 stars.

I have yet to dine in but I’ve ordered a few times. Twice for pick up and once for delivery. All the times food has been amazing. Tom yum soup, egg rolls, curry, and noodles have always been amazing. I would definitely recommend to others. They are always polite when picking up and the restaurant has a very welcoming atmosphere.

Absolutely love this place! We are creatures of habit and always order pho and egg rolls, but the owners have given me some other things to try and they were amazing too. Everyone is always so nice and friendly, which makes this place even better. It’s so great that we eat here at least once a month, and when it’s cooler out it’s closer to once a week.

Family owned and friendly, food is awesome made fresh with flavor! Even if there is a party going on come and enjoy and you can join in the party! We felt like part of the family and it is BYOB! So bring your wine, beer or "Hennesy" 😉, and enjoy a wonderful meal with some wonderful people! We shall return!

My son and I just ate dinner at this Restaurant today and WOW!!!! Food was Amazing and Service was above 5stars! We like to try new places and did we hit the jackpot stopping at this place. We ordered quite a few things on their menu and it was all DELICIOUS. Restaurant was so clean and we loved that waitress and other patrons treated us like family, such a nice thing to experience in these days and time. We will be back and will bring friends and family for sure. Love this place!!

Omg! The food was delicious! The restaurant is clean, the staff was friendly and accommodating. Every dish was fresh and made to order. NO HEAT LAMPS OR WARMERS! Will definitely return and highly recommend!
