We got the pineapple fried rice and it was absolutely delicious. Got it a bit spicy to add a little kick and it wasn't oily or too hot where it was overbearing. Would definitely come here again, the portions were good and they had a lot of pineapple which a lot of places don't actually include.

This place should have a much higher rating! The food is superb and atmosphere excellent. A couple of notches above fast food Thai for sure and a beautiful dining room with stunning textile art from Thailand. This is our go to place and the service is always 5-star. Highly recommend.

Excellent. Both the bubble tea (honey dew flavor)and Thai iced tea were great. We had a couple of appetizers that included Satay chicken and calamari, and several entrees. All were very generous portions and the spice factor was just right, not super hot. Highly recommend.

A party of four with several appetizers, four entrees, extra fried rice, and dessert yielded a bill of $110. Very reasonable, authentic entrees, and excellent service. Reservations are encouraged on weekends. BYOB.

Very very skimpy on the proteins and not authentic. This place needs to have better quality beef and chicken and give more of it

We were the only table at first, so it was not very busy at the time. Although the food was delicious, the wait was very long. I was brought a cup of rice that I stared at for about 10 minutes before the rest of my meal came to the table. You would think the timing could be better.

Traveling through the area stopped in for lunch. Ordered Asian salad requested peanut dressing. It was absolutely delicious. All the ingredients were fresh and tasty. The Asian ice tea was spot on and it was clear that they don’t add food coloring (makes it more orangey )like some Asian restaurants I’ve been to. I will be returning.

This is our 4th visit, and the food continues to impress with its great taste and freshness. We started with the crispy pork spring rolls and scallion pancakes, both of which were delightful. For the main course, we had the ginger stir fry with shrimp and the pad see ew with shrimp. Both dishes were absolutely delicious!

First of all the service was exceptional. Secondly, all of the food was outstanding including the appetizers and each of the entrees we ordered. Noticeable is the freshness of the ingredients and thoughtfulness in presentation. The food here looks as wonderful as it tastes. If you prefer vegetarian there are plenty of delicious options here. The atmosphere is very clean, warm, and welcoming. Highly recommended.

Very good for thai. The prices are a bit high, but I guess everywhere is now. The dining area tries to be fancy, its a bit tacky - but so expected at this kind of place. The food is always good. There's alot of choices with good descriptions on the menu. and service is always freindly.

Great place hidden in Torrington. I have been to Thailand and lived in Boston for 17 years, so I know good Thai food. Never dissapointed here!

The Pho is by far the Best Pho I’ve tasted in my journey to finding the best Pho lol. Portion was amazing and so much balanced flavor. definitely authentic. I asked for extra bean sprouts and they gave me do much I was in Love. Their Shrimp PadThai is definitely a mist try and of course their fried rice no matter which one, always hits the spot. Definitely my fave Asian Restaurant. The atmosphere was warm and relaxing even my 5yr old felt awkward to go crazy. 🥰🤭 Love Love Love this place.

Every time I come here the food is tasty, portions are generous, and the service has always been impeccable. Highly reccomended for a laid back tasty meal.

Food was very good. The dishes were generous and flavorful. Spring rolls were crispy very good with duck sauce provided. Chicken stray was accompanied by a peanut sauce which complemented the grilled chicken nicely. Main dish the pork curry nice and perfect spicy level, sweet and sour chicken with sticky rice was good. Pineapple rice was excellent the cashews were roasted fresh and crispy complainants well contrasting the sweetness of the pineapple and well seasoned rice. All was good will definitely return

to me on Thai cuisine if the basic like the papaya salad is super good it is a good omen for the rest of the menu, my new favorite.

My last 2 take out orders have been terrible very disappointing. In the past the food at your restaurant was the only one I would go to in this area. I’m very disappointed wish I could have remained a customer but giving customers food that taste old and burnt is terrible.

This place is incredible - I can’t say enough good things!!!!! Not only is the food to die for (the pad see-ew will be on your mind for years after consumed), but I had some difficulty with picking up my food due to my driver falling through and they offered to bring it to me after they closed! I told them they could just take the food and I didn’t need a refund but they went above and beyond for no reason other than that they are just kind people. I cannot explain how much you should support this business. I love you guys! Torrington, CT simply does not deserve Thai food this good with such amazing service as well.

Wonderful food and the best Thai I have had in CT. we went on Father’s Day and were served very quickly. The salmon was cooked perfectly. Very large portions. I will be back!

Broth was pretty good, can tell it took time to make. HOWEVER their pickles were the best! Ever bite into a pickle where the sour taste and cruniness just vibrates your jaws. Who ever manages this place needs a raise. The food (10/10) and customer service (10/10), what else can you ask for !?!

My family and I love going to Vientiane, and our friend Bey runs an excellent restaurant full of great food, great service, and excellent value.

Amazing fresh produce, all sauces made from scratch, even the meat in each of our dishes was better than all other than restaurants. No fish was sunk with salt. They really are serving you spices from Thailand. We so appreciated and enjoyed this meal.

The food was okay. Very inattentive. Gave us water but didn't ask if we wanted something else to drink. 15 minutes later she came for order. There was one other couple in there. This was an early dinner.

Don't let the location fool you!!! This is the best Thai food in the area. I've tried other area Thai restaurants and none even come close. Everything is good. The wait staff are always friendly and nice. The restaurant is clean and the atmosphere is nice. I mostly always do takeout, and if there is one negative, it's that the wait time can be long if they are busy. Other than that, don't hesitate to give them a visit, you will not be disappointed!

I have tried Thai food all across CT, in small towns and major cities across the country (Tampa, NYC, Chicago, BAyonne, Seattle, Durham, Columbus, Long Island, etc etc) and I am yet to find a fresher, better tasting meal. This place is excellent and you would not expect it to be hidden in a strip mall in Torrington, CT. It truly is delicious. Staff is very friendly and accommodating too. BYOB as well. Try it. You’ll really love it!

Tried other restaurant in the area but nothing comes close

This is actually a clandestinely Laotian place, and we were so happy we “discovered” it here in the Northwest Connecticut.
While Thai dishes are great, and are very competently and authentically cooked, with just the right combination of flavors, do yourself a favor and order Laotian dishes - basically if you can’t recognize the name of a standard Thai dish, this is what you want. Fish dishes are particularly good.

I have never been disappointed. The service and food has always been first rate! I highly recommend.

Not sure what happened to Vientiane, before the pandemic food was always delicious and they had best wings in town. Our order was not correct and the food was not good at all. Soggy fried calamari and broccoli, over cooked soggy wonton soup with no bean sprouts, and they changed their chicken wing recipe sadly. No flavor. Won't be going back after many years we're disappointed to say the least.

Love this restaurant but the last three times I got my favorite dish, tropical sea scallops, I have been increasingly disappointed with less and less pineapple and mango. Last week I tried to order again, there were a total of three bites of pineapple and one little bite of mango, yes, just one. Maybe you should take the pineapple and mango out of the menu item description?

I am a regular here. I love the food, the staff and the atmosphere. Would recommend for a night out with family or a quiet get together with a friend or significant other. Cannot speak highly enough of this place.

Family favorite! The pad thai, drunken noodle, and massamun curries are my go-to, while chicken rham is what the rest of the family always gets. It is very good food, probably the best Tai food in the area. I have not been able find any other Tai food that compares. The staff is great and prices are very reasonable for the amount and quality of food you get.
The portions are lage enough that you can share one dish for 2 people or have leftovers for lunch the next day.

Take out is fine but dining in is another story. The couple of times we have, I've regretted it. It's BYOB so people seem to be willing to drink more than they should. It might be my bad luck, but I will stick with take out.

I ordered the beef pad Thai which was really good. I love spicey food so I was able to add as much chile as I wanted. The Thai tea was ok. My friend ordered vietnamese coffee, but it was more like Thai coffee than Vietnamese.

I like their tom yum soup with lemon favor.

the McDonalds of Thai... very very cheap bottom shelf ingredients. they lied and said they dont use MSG. My friend was sick amd we asked to see the ingredients and they brought out these super cheap sauce bottles that were all sugar and MSG. I said, You told me no MSG. She said, I said we dont ADD msg. What?? You mean to say MSG is in all of the sauces you use but you dont add any loose powdered MSG on top. Oh well that is a huge relief.

And they clearly dont formulate these sauces in house just dump bottom shelf sugary high sodium chemicals into the food and it tastes so good and has 4.6 stars lol what a joke.
