This is the first time I have tried this place, and I was not disappointed. They had a kid friendly menu. Beer, wine, and sake menu. I ordered the Tom Yum noodle soup with beef, chicken dumplings, and beef with broccoli. I'm so happy we tried this place. It was flavorful and so delicious. You will be happy that you tried it. I'll be back!
This place is very clean and offers a good vegetarian variety and absolutely delicious dishes . We tried their Fresh Spring roll with peanut sauce and Pineapple fried rice and in next two days craved to have it again . Prices are reasonable and service is quick . Definitely recommend it.
This is closer to a 3.5. We really liked the restaurant space itself, super clean and generously lit from the large windows. And the server was very nice and friendly.
We ordered 3 things:
Calamari appetizer: The fried calamari was really delicious, very well fried and comes with a sweet dipping sauce. However, the amount was incredibly lacking... it basically came out to $1/piece, and the pieces weren't really that big. The menu doesn't describe how many pieces / how large it is - if we had known, we would not have ordered. Not worth $8!
Pad kee mow w/ chicken, spice level 4 (out of 5): This was just okay. We've definitely had more flavorful pad kee mow, and this didn't really stand out. Spice level was tolerable, personally would've expected hotter for a level 4 - probably could've taken on 5! The plus side was that the portion was very generous, enough for leftovers.
Tom yum soup w/ chicken, spice level 3: Also just fine. It has a strong fish sauce flavor, would've preferred more lemongrass flavor instead. Plenty of mushroom and tomato. The lower spice level worked for this soup.
My family used to love this restaurant. We usually order takeout and love the food. However, the last time we ordered takeout, my husband was only given half of our order. We got home and realized half the food was missing. We called and got through on the 5th attempt. The man that answered told my husband we gave him both bags of food. My husband replied he was only given one bag. He asked if they had the other bag of food so we could get it. The man started yelling he gave my husband both bags. I then tried to tell the man this is terrible customer service (said twice while he was still yelling) and then he hung up. My husband went to pick up the other bag of food and the man made no apologies. By the time we got the food home, the kids meal of nuggets and fries were soggy. It was so disappointing and we will not be ordering again.
Food tastes like something you would cook yourself from HelloFresh. they charge $16 for frozen ingredients, sauces are essentially nothing but suga. Also forgot to include protein in my entree which I didn’t see til I got home. Would not recommend

Spoon + Fork Thai Kitchen is a Thai restaurant with locations in McKinney and Frisco, Texas. The menu features traditional Thai dishes such as pad Thai, drunken noodles, and various curries, as well as specialties like spicy garlic catfish and tamarind shrimp. The restaurant offers a comfortable dining atmosphere suitable for both family gatherings and casual meals. Portions are generous, often suitable for sharing. The staff is attentive, and the service is generally well-regarded. For those seeking authentic Thai flavors in the area, Spoon + Fork Thai Kitchen is a commendable choice.
Not sure why this place isn't busier. It's super clean and the food is always on point.
Yall I ordered to the wrong location. 20 mins away from this place. Gabby and Gabriel both helped me out BIG TIME! They called the other location, cancelled my ordered and made a whole new order for me in less than 15 mins. Saved me!!! Thank you!
Food is great, very clean place too. Only reason I gave 4 star is bc it’s not like the other Thai restaurants in the area. The vibe is a bit more causal. But food a great. Perfect spot for lunch vibes!
Thank you again Gabby Xs 2!! You guys are the BEST!
Pretty good!

Terrible terrible services I ordered food and was committed food th eve ready in 20 minutes max. Came after 25 minutes, and have been waiting for the last 35 minutes with the same answer - it’s going to take 10 minutes for the food. At least they are consistent with their answer:). On proving more, they claim “kitchen trouble”.
The great thing is as soon as I came in, the person managing the desk first took my money and rang the transaction, and then said it will take 10 minutes. He kept saying that till the time I had to ask him to remind my money. And when I told him that because of him I was late for an event I had to go to, the answer was that we are returning your money, what else don’t need. There was no remorse, no emotion of shame, nothing. One who does not feel bad about messing around with customers, lying to the customers and being transparent, they don’t deserve our business.
As for the quality of food, it’s okay, I have ordered once before, was. It a huge fan but this is the closest Thai place and my son wanted to eat Thai so had reluctantly ordered here. That’s it for me, last time here. Does not matter how the taste is anyway if they are able to give you food on time, and try to fool you.
The order was drunken noodles and chicken satay, nothing extraordinary.
There was one table and I ordered one item on a Monday night at 6pm. See receipt attached.
I didn't get my food until 6:26pm. The corpulent white female with glasses took my order and allowed it to sit in the kitchen window for awhile before even checking it, resulting in my food being cold when I got it.
I can't believe the wait for one item here. This place is the prime example why you don't tip ahead of time.
Great food and very clean place. I would highly recommend.
Amazing food and customer service! Thank you to our waitress Joi for being a pleasure.
The food is good . We visit it at least once a month for take away orders. Wish the service at the front desk was better.
Order here a few times and this place is the best Thai I have found in the area!
Great service by Joy. She was very nice.
Decent Thai food! Nice that it's so close to home and consistently good.
My daughters gave this place 5,000 stars and I agree! We were looking for something new and delicious and this was it! Definitely the clean and authentic taste I was looking for. We ate the Pad Wunsen with chicken, Spring rolls, and a bowl of Tom Kha plus Thai tea. So YUM!

This is my favorite Thai place in the Dallas area. Everything is on point. Food is very fresh, flavorful, and perfectly spiced. Staff is very friendly too.
One of the girls that works at that location has an attitude problem. If I can give a -0 I would.
Driving around saw this place and we always like to try new restaurants.
The positive. Nice modern decor. Small place but comfortable distance between tables.
Dining area half full, yet waited 10 mins before the waitress even acknowledged us. Did try and ask as she walked past could we order drinks and got a "hold on". Not a great start. Finally ordered the Tom yum beef soup. I think they spilt the fish sauce in it. Couldn't taste anything else except very very fishy and salty broth. Yes yes I hear you say it's a fish based broth but believe me this was inedible. Next, the curry fried rice with shrimp and beef. I kid you not, 2 shrimps and the odd bit of beef. Rice was tasty but I almost thought I had ordered the vegetarian option. Wife had the pineapple rice with extra chicken and that was good. Won't go back and please work on the staff, as with waitresses obviously did not want to be there, long faces, one word responses if at all and zero proactive engagement with any customers.
Totalmente recomendable..hemos recorrido varios lugares de comida Thai, sin embargo, este lugar los supera por la calidad y sabor de sus platillos ..
Food is pathetic
Cute little place, kinda typical but the service was great and the food was good. Good for takeout I'm sure and prices are fine
Been here for the first time and ordered Crab Cream cheese and Basil fried rice with Chicken and Shrimp (Thai Spice), loved both, service was quick and perfectly spiced/flavorful. Added Pad Kee Mow (Thai Drunken Noodles) with Chicken and loved it, will recommend if you are in Frisco/McKinney area, reasonably priced and portions are decent.
I had the Mongolian beef medium heat. The perfect portion size, and amazing taste. I wanted to lick the plate.
A cozy Thai place with delicious selection of vegan dishes with friendly customer service.
Loved the ginger chicken, yellow curry and beef basil. The mango rice was tasty too. Excellent service and the food came out piping hot / fresh!! The vegetables were super fresh …. A must try
Simply good food, great service, and a clean place to enjoy a meal. We will be back for more.
This is our second visit. On the first we ordered a single drunken noodle. It was amazing. Good amount of spice and generous portion of beef.
On this visit, we ordered 3 drunken noodle dishes with beef. There was around 10 small pieces of beef (total) between all 3 plates. It’s like they took one portion and divided it by the 3 plates. For $45 dollars, I expect consistency and correct portions.
My new favorite Thai place. Delicious food, very generous portions and a cute ambiance. Service was quick and courteous.
The food and service were great. The staff were super nice and the atmosphere was great too. This was my first time going but I will definitely be coming back!
Spoon and Fork Thai Kitchen is an amazing place to have lunch and dinner or just a regular time. The salad is amazing. Yummy Yummy a yummy. I will be back for sure. I love the customer service from the ladies. The low lighting and decoration is the greatest. Thank you so Spoon and Fork Thai Kitchen.
Excellent food, friendly service. Chicken Teriyaki, Magnolian Beef, Pad Thai and Noodle Soup are all great
Good food and service
We are fortunate to have opened our doors only feet away! Food is great and can’t say enough good things about the service. Wonderful addition to the neighborhood. Thanks for the help today!
Fresh and delicious food! The staff is always welcoming and conversational. The pad Thai and yellow curry are always my go to!
Nice place and food!!
I've tried here multiple times, and find the noodle and rice dishes alright.
I really crave a good red curry and it's just okay here. Hope they improve it!
Food tastes like chemicals!
The place is so dirty we thought it was closed..
Very rude staff ! And the manager is the worst of all!! So aggressive!!
I ordered curry fried rice and the rice is dry. I was too hungry to complain about it as I was starving. The rice is definitely from yesterday. I did say spicy no 4 but it was mild. Not going to this location again.
Had a to go order that I can’t stop thinking about. Tried the Spring rolls with peanut sauce, the were possibly the best I’ve ever had! Then had some delicious Chicken Panang Curry spice level 3. It was so tasty! Loved the bell peppers in it along with adding steamed rice. I will be going here for my curry cravings!
Food is always good, hot, and timely. The staff is professional and had no issues taking our orders. If you're looking for great Thai food at a great price, then this is the place.
Nice Thai food place with vegetarian/vegan options. Enjoyed the flavors and highly recommend this place
Very nice restaurant, great food and nice staff.
I’m reluctant to write this review because I don’t want wait times going up! 🤣. Y’all I’m telling you get to this place as quick as possible. I have never had a bad meal here. The staff treats like royalty from beginning to end, truly making you feel served. There is a good variety of dishes and honestly I haven’t tried them all. The ones I have tried though…amazing. The pad Thai with level four spice is perfection. Their tofu is u like any way I’ve ever tasted it before. We are so blessed to have this restaurant close by because we love the atmospheres the food and the service.
The food didn’t taste good at all. We ordered 3 entrees and the sauce for each meal was watery and not good. . The presentation was good but the food did not taste like we thought it would. I would not recommend this place.
This place has become our favorite Thai food. Awesome food and awesome service. The server Gigg there is very sweet..
This food has really good fresh fried rice. I'm a huge fan of Thai food and haven't found a place good enough till I tried this spot. The pineapple fried rice is to die for and the steamed dumplings were some of the best I've had.
They do have options for vegetarian and vegan. I like the food.
One of those places where you want to quickly grab your food.
Not fancy and not shabby.
Food was decent for the price
My daughter took me here to eat. Food was delicious 😋. Loved the beautiful Elephants on display. Will be a regular for sure.
The service here was bad. The waitress didn’t really pay attention when we ordered. We have to repeat a few times. My friends and we were ordering a Panang curry with beef but it turned out to be tofu. We ordered 4 dishes and food was okay. Not sure if we will go back again.
Food was very fresh and tasty. Would definitely recommend.
My husband and I eat/ get takeout from here all the time! The tofu yellow curry changed my life it’s literally my favorite food. 5 stars for sure!! 🫶🏼
Love this place! I got the yellow curry. My wife got mixed veggie stir-fry. My son got chicken nuggets. Big portion sizes. Didn't have a photo of my curry because I ate it all too fast.
Delicious yellow curry
I took my wife here for her birthday. She loved the food. Then we brought our kids here, and they like the food too. We liked the Drunken noodles, Green curry, and the Red curry. We usually take higher spice levels. The Tom Yum soup is good too. The quantity of food is more than sufficient. We have had to take food home. Service is good.
Great for vegetarians and vegans. They can make the dishes without fish sauce.
The people here are really cool once you get to know them!
Delicious. Large servings. Leftovers the next day were just as good. Vegetables, beef, and shrimp cooked perfectly— not overcooked at all! Shrimp Pad Thai wonderful with a lot of very large shrimp.
Great Thai taste!!
I would like to express my gratitude for the excellent service I received and my appreciation for the amazing meal I had at this restaurant. If you're looking for great Thai food, these guys are the best.
Love the food and the service has always been Great !! Best Thai Food in the area
Yellow curry with a spice level of 4. Delicious. Will be returning soon.
Great food! No delay in getting food. Spicy levels are correct.
I have discovered this restaurant while driving by. I am accustomed to Thai food so I decided to check it out and ordered some of my favorites plates. I was extremely satisfied with the authenticity of the taste. I became a regular so every week I order and they’re very accommodating if I ask for something specific. I highly recommend Spoon & Fork go check them out , try their grilled salmon & their curry dishes, you won’t be disappointed 👌🧿
Food is great. Service is pretty quick. Great local place.
Disappointing food. Way overcooked, served cold and felt reheated. The Thai Basil Fried rice was the only saving grace and that the beers are reasonably priced. The chicken Satay was like chewing gum. The wait staff were particularly disinterested in anything. Looked angry that they had any customers.
Crispy Wrapped Shrimp 🍤 Delicious!!!
Yellow Curry! 💛 Made my soul sing!
Tiger Cry Beef w/sticky rice was excellent!!
For the most part the food is good but some things are a hit and miss. The best thing you can order is the basil fried rice, pad kee mow, yakisoba noodles, and the panang avocado salmon. Get level 3 if you can take the spice. You won’t be disappointed. Customer service is good and restaurant is clean. Enjoy 🙂
Victor is an awesome server, very kind, courteous, friendly vibe, and makes sure you have what you need. Red Curry with Chicken was awesome as usual! Thank you!
Fresh and large portions. I usually get the Ginger Vegetable with chicken. Excellent!
Everything was way over cooked, dry, and chewy.
The dishes we ordered were very meh, I was disappointed.
Service was okay, nothing exceptional.
Poor service and food is too sweet.
I've eaten here several times and everything I've ever ordered has been delicious. The prices are reasonable for the quality of food and service.
I am always excited to try new businesses opening near me. I waited before trying this newer restaurant establishment. Food quality was lacking. Service/friendliness was below average. Nothing about the experience will result in a return visit.
Food and service were fantastic.
I had the garlic catfish with jasmine rice and I San sausage. I must admit it was pretty good. First time trying Thai food. Thanks Spoon & Fork Thai Kitchen. If your in the Frisco area check this place out.
Glass noodles are awesome
Food is ok. But, service is not that great.
There were regular spring rolls in our order of crab cream cheese.
I’m fairly picky with where I order Thai food and this place is as good as the best I’ve had in the area. I’m definitely returning! I recommend the pad kee mow.
Tried this restaurant at the suggestion of a good friend while in town & it was delicious! Had the Thai Basil which was very flavorful! The chicken teriyaki was delicious as well! The sauces at Spoon +Fork are wonderful! Also, the staff is very friendly. Will definitely return when on this side of town again in the future :)
I will be 100% transparent. This review is not fair. I just happened to go during the changing of shifts so the service felt just like that. A tad underwhelming:(
I also feel, I went during the wrong season. I feel the dishes I ordered would have been perfect in the fall or winter months. I would totally recommend not having my dishes in Texas 109 temperatures. I tried the wings as well. They had a fantastic flavor, however in my opinion was a tad over cooked. Some of the bites were a tad dry. For me, the mango dessert was the best. The overall experience wasn't bad, I was just a little disappointed with the food and the overall service.
My husband has Celiac, and felt confident their GF offerings would be fine, since he had eaten at the McKinney location. However he was immediately sick after eating, actually during eating there. The new staff there needs to understand that it's only gluten free if there is no contamination.
A great choice for Thai in the area. Easy parking. Food was great and the sevice was spectacular. We had different plates including Thai rice. The pricing was fair. We went in the middle of the day for lunch on Sunday and it wasn't too corwded.
Ordered yellow curry chicken, super delicious. The show stopper was their crab cream cheese appetizers, I could have eaten a whole plate of them. Excellent.
It was great went here before prom
We had seen the reviews of poor service and almost opted for another restaurant. The service was excellent and the food was as good as rated. Enjoyed our meal after spending time with our new grandson. I was glad to see that I could get chopsticks at the Fork and Spoon.
Had a problem with our order and the manager hand delivered a replacement to us, no questions asked. Everything I've had here has been great.
One of my absolute favorite spots!! Highly recommend the Pad Kee Mow (Drunken Noodles) and the Yellow Curry Chicken. They are absolutely delicious!
Great food and service. Tom Kha soup and Pad Thai were delicious!
Yum yum
Great little place. Good beer selection too
This location isn't as good as the original on 380. Came for lunch only one other person was there which was nice I enjoyed the quiet time. The workers were nice and food was hot/fresh. I ordered my usual but it tasted different something was off. I'll stick to 380.
Good new spot for Pad Thai and Tom Kum soup.
First timer here. My son wanted to try this place so we did. It was around noon and there was no one in the restaurant. We were the only one and it still took awhile to make our food. I ordered the beef pad see ew, my son ordered the panang curry, my other son ordered the chicken pad thai and my husband ordered the yakisoba.
About 25mins later, our food came out and the pad see ew I ordered was wrong. They brought me a beef pad thai. I decided to keep it since I didn’t want to wait another 25mins. The portions were pretty decent. I didn’t punish mine. It was a little sweet but besides that it was good. My son who ordered the panang curry said his spice level 2 was non existent and it was very very sweet. My other son who ordered the pad that also said his spice level 3 was non existent and my husband’s yakisoba said the same thing about his spice level.
Overall, it was okay but nothing great. Not sure if we’ll be back. Maybe work on your spice level and flavoring.
This cannot be called authentic Thai. It’s absolutely awful food. The Tom Yam soup was awful, the beef with rice cannot be even called food fit for human consumption. Cannot believe i made the mistake of coming here.
Nice neighborhood thai restaurant with good quality food. Loved the Penang Salmon Avocado, Curry fried rice. Pad Thai was a little too sweet to my taste. They tend to be lower on their spice levels so adjust accordingly.
Nothing taste like Thai food … fried rice was mushy and absolutely tasteless. 3 people couldn’t finish 1 rice dish even after we were starving. Not recommend.
Update!!
Following my previous visit on May 9th, I was pleasantly surprised to receive a personal text message from Thana, the owner, apologizing for my dissatisfaction and inviting me to give them another chance. Intrigued by their genuine concern, I decided to visit the restaurant once again today. Let me tell you, it exceeded all expectations!
Thana, with her warm and friendly demeanor, personally recommended the Panag salmon avocado dish, and she even added some delightful shrimp skewers. I can confidently say it was an absolute delight for my taste buds! The dish had the perfect balance of spice and flavor, leaving me craving for more with each bite.
What sets Spoon + Fork Thai kitchen apart from the rest is the personal touch that Thana demonstrated by reaching out to me. Her initiative to address my concerns and recommend an outstanding dish made me feel valued as a customer. It's this level of dedication and care that transforms a restaurant experience into something memorable and keeps patrons coming back.
Thank you, Thana, and the entire team, for going above and beyond to create a remarkable dining experience. Keep up the excellent work!

I recently visited this restaurant during the lunch rush and was quite disappointed with my experience. While the restaurant appeared clean, the lack of customers should have served as a warning sign. I ordered the curry rice with chicken, specifically requesting it to be medium spicy, and also opted for the shrimp kabob appetizers. Unfortunately, the quality of the food fell short of my expectations.
Firstly, the shrimp kabobs were a letdown. Not only were the shrimp not deveined, but the tail part was also left raw. This oversight affected the overall enjoyment of the dish and left me with an unpleasant dining experience.
Moving on to the curry rice with chicken, I was disheartened by its lack of flavor. Despite its vibrant yellow appearance, it lacked any seasoning whatsoever. Not a single pinch of salt, pepper, or any other spices could be detected. As a result, the dish felt dull and lacked the taste I was hoping for. If you're someone who values flavorful meals, I would not recommend this place.
In summary, the cleanliness of the restaurant was commendable, but the empty dining area during the lunch rush was concerning. The shrimp kabob appetizers were poorly prepared. Additionally, the curry rice with chicken lacked any discernible seasoning, making it a bland and unsatisfying dish. Based on my experience, I cannot wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant to those who appreciate flavorful food.
This just opened up in our area so this was the first try. We just loved the food. We ordered for takeout and had Mongolian beef, pad Thai and yellow chicken curry. All of them were just delicious. Would definitely recommend
Beautiful new Thai restaurant in the Custer corridor. The place have a modern yet serene ambient. The food was delicious and well prepared; notes of ginger, lemongrass and basil were prevalent and delicious. The service by Gaby was great, she is very kind and welcoming. One of my new favorite places.
Best Thai food in north Dallas. Terrific flavors, wonderful service. Great to find quality ethnic food close by
My mother and I ate here for lunch today and it was delicious as always. The staff is always so pleasant and attentive. We enjoy coming to Spoon + Fork for their pleasant and clean atmosphere in addition to the great food and wide selection of options on their menu. Will definitely be back.
Fantastic. Just like the other location.
This place is amazing. We were the first customers on their soft opening day and we’ve been back many times. I love their yellow curry and my family has had an assortment of their other dishes, all amazing! Keep it up!!!
Portion size was ok. it could have been better for the price point. Curries are excessively sweet and watery. Pad thai had a lot of fish smell. Location is nice and folks are friendly. Average place for Thai nothing extraordinary.
Food is so expensive.....not worth it
Just another flash in strip mall restaurant, not good at all. Service and restaurant was nice and clean but the food was awful. Calamari over cooked, chicken teriyaki was clearly precooked presliced frozen chicken. Yakisoba was tasteless mush. $60 gone.
Nice set up and decent service but the Pad Thai taste was off, I tasted tomato sauce (possibly ketchup) instead of traditional tamarind sauce not sure if this is the norm here. The chicken satay was good
Great food! I had an issue with my order and the owner took care of it. Attentive customer services can be hard to find. Glad this place is being run so well.
Pad kee mow was awesome. Basil fried rice lacked little flavor to my liking. Soup and appetizers were great.
