However, what was not ok was her getting annoyed every time we would nicely tell her to please give us some time as we would like to order a couple of dishes. Not everything is pictured, but we had their Thai iced coffee, four appetizers and three meals and everything was tasty.

In terms of the food, my mom had the chicken Param which was deep fried chicken chunks in a peanut curry sauce, she really liked the sauce and the chicken was super crispy. My kids’ favorite thing about the restaurant was that the rice is brought out in the shape of a star, they really enjoyed that! I enjoyed my green curry with chicken but wish it had more of a kick, it was very mild. I thought this restaurant was very reasonably priced. The service was great!

This restaurant is about 45 minutes from my home, and I would definitely return when I have a Thai desire for dinner. Not only were our main courses delicious and well cooked, but my wife and I were able to walk out the door completely satisfied with two main courses + for under $40.

I have been to thailand, and this was the most similar of all of the food in America that I've tried so far to what Thailand food was like. Really good selection. Friendly service, and they checked on us often to see if we needed anything else.

We stopped here for a late lunch and it was absolutely delicious. Authentic Thai food at such reasonable prices. Lunch prices are $10-$12 and it’s served with soup, salad and spring roll. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

I’ve reviewed Thai Elephant before. My family and I have gone here for 10 or so years and it’s been the staple of our weekly dine out places since then. That all changed the last few weeks. Not only have they messed up our orders three times but when I went back this last time to get the correct order, not only was I argued with by the cashier I was made to pay the difference between the dishes despite having to drive back to the restaurant to get the correct order. Then, to top it all off, they gave me half the serving. Literally half. Sad to see from a place I truly loved.

After touring Patterson, we needed a place that was close and could accommodate 20 of us for lunch before heading to the airport. With that many people, lunch did take a while but food was delicious. Glad we made the stop! I had L17 Thai fish.

Amazing food and amazing service ! We eat Thai all over New York including several top joints in nyc and the food at this place was right up there with all of them, add in friendly service and an amazing location including a nice back patio and we highly recommend this place !

Pad Thai was delish, Panang curry was great (I'm picky about the viscosity and the creaminess was perfect to me). Excellent bubble tea as well

Amazing food and Wonderful staff. 40 of us popped in after a Bethel tour. They did their best to accommodate us. Yes there were few delays and mishaps but this was to be expected at a short notice. Overall everything was delicious. But large crowds please call early in advance. It will be worth it 😀

My family and I ordered from here with Uber Eats after getting excited for Thai one Friday night, because we hadn’t had it in a while. We definitely should have picked elsewhere. We were quite disappointed with the quality and portions.

My wife and I were visiting her family in the area and ordered this hungry and on a whim. I can’t speak to the service or atmosphere, but the delivery driver waited quite a while for the food once he arrived (roughly 35 minutes). Everything looked appropriate with the order on arrival, but the Thai iced tea was nothing to brag about. It wasn’t awful, just not as good as I’ve usually had it many other places.

Both Pad Thai dishes (1-chicken; 1-shrimp) looked pretty underwhelming and a bit small on first inspection, few vegetables and they were a bit limp, chicken was abundant in my dish but it was a bit dry, and the peanut pieces (I think they were peanut pieces) looked a bit weird and just tossed in a clump on one side of the dish. Also, I’d asked for medium spice on mine and neither were the least bit spicy. Taste was disappointing as well didn’t taste like a normal Pad Thai peanut sauce and it wasn’t awful or inedible it just did not taste like good Pad Thai to me. A close friend is Thai and visits his family there often, he’s shown us some great Thai restaurants. I won’t claim to be an expert in Thai cuisine by any means, but I’m no novice either.

Overall, we will be finding our Thai fix elsewhere. I left an extra star because I will admit that the impersonal Uber delivery MAY have some effect towards our experience rather than dine-in, but I feel I’m being generous with that. Prior to leaving this I read a couple of food poisoning claims here which is concerning, I feel fine as of now, but I WILL be revising this if that changes.

Update: still our favorite thai place. Highly recommend!

Ive been craving thai for so long and I finally got some curry. I was so unbelievably disappointed because the potatoes in the massaman curry were shriveled and freezer burnt. I had to spit one out at the table and that was super embarrassing. I really wanted to eat it because the sauce was delicious but I was not risking food poisoning.

The server was kind but got nervous as soon as I said there was an issue. Another person came out to talk to me and was unsympathetic and told me "thats just how it is".

We were the first customers to sit in(im assuming as it was at 11:30am) and it quickly filled up. My friend and I were ignored towards the end of our meal and while it couldve been they were just understaffed- it felt a lot like we were being punished. We sat with our food done for about 5 minutes before my friend finally called a server over for the check.

I got the pad thai to replace the curry and it was... just okay.

The thai tea was delicious and the soup, salad, spring roll that came with the curry was also good.

Prices weren't bad and the decor of the inside was cute in my opinion, though it was a little dark.

I find it disappointing that the restaurant manager attempted to justify the mistake of either taking the wrong order or forgetting to include the babble. Furthermore, 'mango tea' was not even listed on their menu. Despite explaining that we had left the area as we were only visiting, she still insisted that I return to pick up the correct drinks. Their attitude was incredibly rude, and based on this experience, I have no intention of returning.

This place is amazing! The food tastes fresh, and exquisite! The only downfall of this restaurant is that since the food is homemade it does take a while to be prepared. Otherwise 5 stars I recommend the Pad Thai with Tofu, it’s so flavorful!

We ordered takeout so can’t comment on anything other than the food, but this is among the best Thai food we’ve had outside of Bangkok. Everything we got was delicious. Fresh. Well prepared. Appropriately spiced. Just all around terrific. And did I add extremely well priced. As a family run restaurant, this is a place that should be supported. We will certainly be back.

I utilized Uber Eats to order food from this restaurant. Upon receiving the order, I noticed the soup ordered was spilled nearly entirely in the bag. When I opened the bag the lid that was utilized for the soup had been damaged due to the heat of the soup itself causing it to bubble and open. I contacted the restaurant and after explaining the situation their response was that the issue was not their problem and that it was with Uber Eats even after explaining it was their packaging. Contact was made with Uber Eats but the simple lack of consideration and understanding is what led me to the review. Photos are included a proof.

Came here three time so far. Food is okay and fairly pricy compared to other Thai restaurants. Waiting time is typically longer than an hour due to seemingly chronic staffing issues.

Tonight was our first experience at Thai Elephant 2 in Patterson NY and it won't be our last. We started with a few drinks while we waited for appetizers... our server Foni (pronounced "Fawny" and an excellent server btw) brought us Mango Salad, Crispy Spring Rolls and Summer Rolls. All appetizers were fresh tasting and presentations were inviting. We enjoyed the flavor conversations between our options on the table as each dish complimented it's neighbor. I chose Pad Kee Mao and Beef as my entree and it's described on their menu in the Noodle category as "Sautéed flat rice noodles, fresh basil, chili, onion, tomato, bell pepper, and egg" and I chose beef as my protein option. I'm going to tell you something....the chef behind this recipe knows how to work with flavors on a whole 'nother level. This dish is spicy in 3 different ways and it's creator knew exactly how to take each heat level to the point where (for me) was the maximum enjoyable level before it's too spicy. The tip of my tongue, the roof of my mouth and the back of my throat were pleasantly "hot" while the sweet and savory flavors of the dish addressed my craving for something rich and this dish could easily be categorized as "comfort food". Outstanding.
The prices at Thai Elephant 2 are surprisingly reasonable not only for quality but they are surprisingly reasonable for the amount of food they bring out. Huge Value. Our check was about 30% lower than other restaurants in the area and we enjoyed everything.
Highly recommended.

I figured I would give this place a shot as I pass it almost daily. Bad choice, when I got home and opened the meal it didn't look appetizing. I took a taste and the chicken resembled KFC but worse and did not have a good flavor. So I just ate the rice and threw the rest out. Just when I thought my experience with this place was over, nope. I had symptoms of food poisoning and kept the toilet company for two days. Order if you dare!!!

This has always been one of my favorite places to eat I have had almost everything on the menu and it is always fantastic. this is the first time I have come here since covid19 has started, and hate to say I was very disappointed with the food we ordered . The portions were a lot smaller the flavors were off. I hope they do improve again because I do love coming to this place.

Had an issue with menu which was not really the owners fault more a software issue. Owner offered to pay for meal . I was 20 miles away and it was takeout and I paid cash. Owner took phone # and I came back 3 wks later and the owner paid for my meal and then some. Food both times was delicious. Will most certainly will be coming back.

I arrived at this restaurant looking forward to a good meal. Upon arrival, my fiancee and I were not greeted or acknowledged at all. When my fiancee asked one of the waitresses for assistance (WE had to ask for help), she was told she had to wait a minute. Seeing that my business was clearly not valued, I left and will never be coming back.
