We went there for lunch from office recently. It has now improved a lot from the last time when we tried to go there in summer and their AC wasn’t working.
Menu has lot of options of East Asian dishes mainly Thai each served as lunch or dinner as options .
Place was clean , spacious and pretty comfortable ambience.
Price is okay .. if you go for something basic . Around $12 / person.
Thankfully it has lot of vegetarian options as well . They serve some soup on house , it has egg so I couldn’t try it .
I chose Roti curry from main menu . The roti was like a Malabar parotta.
All dishes come with the rice , this one comes with an additional parotta . approx they charge approx $15 with tax .
Most items had a chilli symbol which you can decide which spice level
You want. I chose 1 , Gravy was pretty good.

We ordered online for pick up. Great customer service when called and when we picked up our food. The package was sealed great. When we returned to our hotel, we saw there were no utensils or napkins. I am not sure if I was supposed to ask, but I figured every other place I have ordered from before included utensils. The food, even tho the pad thai noodles were kinda over cooked the flavor was delicious. We ordered the sticky rice with mango, and there was no mango. I would be willing to give this establishment another chance whenever visiting there again. But for our first time, it was not that impressive.

Ordered panang curry, spicy tung tac and vietnamese rolls. Everything was good in taste. The dinner size is too big. 2 people can easily eat in one if you are not a heavy eater.

The food might be great, but their waiting system is a disaster. I called twice, and they said no phone reservations. When I arrived with my family and gave my name, they claimed it was already on the list and told me to wait 10 minutes. After 40 minutes, someone else with the same name showed up, and instead of resolving the issue, they asked me to enter my name again and wait another 50 minutes!

The waiter was completely unbothered and didn’t even try to help. Frustrated, we left without eating. Terrible system—definitely not worth the hassle!

Food was excellent. Everything is on point at this location. I only dislike when I try to sub items and they say they can't but will at other locations. The kids don't like the crab ragoon in the kids bento I try to get two spring rolls but they don't do subs here. Seems silly. Nate was our sever and he was personable and attentive. These guys do not know how to make Thai food. Food was very very bad taste. It was not Thai at all. I took Penang curry and it felt like being made from pre-packed powder.. very artificial, powdery, unhealthy..

My son took Singapore noodles with chicken. Oh my god. What was that chicken on the noddles .. is that the way any restaurant cooks chicken for noodles. Horrible.

Frankly, I am regular to Thai Noodle Wave restaurant as it's my family favorite. And I have all praise for it's wonderful tasty preparations, ambience, service, price, etc. But, despite this, I may now re-think to visit this restaurant again as it claims to have Halal meat. This is an appeasement for Muslim customers (may be 10% of their entire customer base!) and hence take my choice for granted, being non-muslim. Why should I eat Halal food? It's ok if they want to serve Halal food to specific customers, on their demand, but why serve same Halal to customers like me. I don't want to be served Halal food and that's my choice hence I may not visit again. Sorry, but don't want some other religions beliefs forced on me for what I get to eat here...

Make sure you check your receipts and bank accounts. I did not tip for my takeout order on Wednesday, but my bank account was charged for a 20% tip. I went back to talk about it and because I didn't check no tip or write the total, someone had checked off on the 20% tip in my place. Food was good, shame that I have to be careful of this place every time from now on

Let’s talk food, ordered TomYum soup, did not expect it, meaning it was really good. The right amount of sweet and sour and spice. Will definitely come back for more. However not sure about glass noodle and the teriyaki chicken. It was alright but the bowls were filled with more noodles or rice than meat or veggies. I will still come back to try other dishes. Would recommend ya’ll to try.

My family and I often order takeout from this restaurant and have never had any issues. Today, we decided to dine in for the first time, but the experience was incredibly disappointing. Our server, Sara, was extremely rude from the moment we sat down, acting as if we were inconveniencing her despite us being polite and respectful. We placed our order, and shortly after, another server whose name I didn't catch brought our daughter her food, which was Mongolian beef. After she had eaten a few bites and even shared some with her mom, the server returned and told us the food was meant for another table. To our shock she took the plate and gave it to the other table despite the fact that it had already been eaten from. This is beyond unacceptable and a serious food safety concern. Seeing such a careless and unsanitary action left us disgusted and questioning the hygiene practices at this restaurant. This used to be one of our favorite spots, but after this experience, we will not be returning.

This was the second time I went to this place last week. I went on Monday to get a glass noodle dish with added shrimp which was $3.50 extra. Went the following Friday to order the same dish and was rushed, because they kitchen was closing in 2 minutes. So, I didn’t get the shrimp, but was charged $3.50 for it. My man friend ordered some soup 🍲. A “red” cream soup that he didn’t want ANY extra spice. Yup 👍🏾 you guessed it! It was spicy 🌶️. Will NOT be back! We just gave them free $$$

ordered online, came after 30 minutes and after taking my name, the lady at the front said it wasn’t ready. i waited and then told another guy it had been 30 minutes since i placed the order, only to realize they never got the order even though i already had the confirmation receipt and paid. not sure why the first lady didn’t tell me this and had me waiting instead. they made the order quickly but was surprised to see the manager more worried about taking a picture of my receipt on my phone to troubleshoot the ordering issue rather than worrying about the customer waiting in the restaurant. could’ve at least offered a drink or appetizer. service needs to be improved.

Noodle Wave Plano is outstanding. We love the Manager Z, and his entire team Shreya, Jamona, Kylie and the rest of the staff. The cooks are amazing. Incredibly tasty food, and very good portions. Always fresh and delivered promptly. We travel greatly, but when in town we eat here several days per week. Such a great selection of meals. If you ever go there, you will be hooked.

Upon paying for the bill, we intended to pay partial cash and the rest on a card, however, our server took the cash as a 50% tip and did not fix the mistake when letting her know that the cash was supposed to be charged first and then the card. Unfortunately will not be back due to service.

For delivery, last night we ordered several entrées and appetizers. I specifically ordered Seafood Tom Kha with extra seafood, extra basil, an additional egg, and requested no fish sauce. The delivery was on time, the food was fresh, hot, and absolutely delicious. My only disappointment was that I didn’t order more Tom Kha… 😊 The delivery driver was very courteous, and I am going to place another order of Tom Kha this afternoon. I can’t wait.

This is a well deserved 1 star review because of the chef. The food was horrible today. It was not fresh and insulting to say the least.
If you have any respect for the customers, you would not serve them old brown basil leaves and a few (almost cold) pieces of meat on top of a mountain of greens.
Please have some respect for the customers, their money, and their intelligence!
The waiter and the manager saw everything and they were nice by the way. They did their best to correct the situation; so they are not the ones to blame. However, I left dissatisfied and I will never go back to this place because I felt disrespected and I will warn my friends not to go there.
A message to the owner: If you don't keep an eye on your business, and if you keep this chef, you will go downhill at a very high speed. Have a serious talk with the chef because I'm sure he is careless. Be careful!

I have never seen a restaurant trying to get their customers to leave so fast. And there were no customers waiting in queue. Really annoying and pushy staff. They have uncomfortable cramped and hard seating. Can’t have a conversation because staff keeps checking in every 2 minutes. Don’t be greedy guys, you are making enough profit as it is and already have several branches. Let people sit and eat in peace when they are paying this much. I love the food here but disappointing to see the decline in service.

The food is not at all good. The quality has changed . I ordered bento box and it came half an hour late. The siracha sauce tasted like ketchup. The meat was overcooked and chewy. Very disappointed

I’ve been eating at Thai restaurant for years. It’s been a while since my last visit, and I can say that the food has definitely changed. Not that the food today was bad, it’s just not the same and not what I went there for. It’s very heavily Indian influenced now and barely seems like a Thai restaurant anymore. Menu has multiple Indian dishes on it.
First, I noticed this sign on the door. It doesn’t affect me, but it does many others, so just be aware that you are NOT allowed to bring in a stroller.
Second, I ALWAYS order the Yellow Curry with chicken and ask for a spice level of “5” or Thai spicy. I like my food spicy. My son ordered the same dish at a level “2” spice. Both of our dishes tasted the same with NO spiciness to them at all. The flavor was decent, just not spicy at all. Other complaint was that the curry sauce was really thick and creamy. I’m used to it a little more thinned out than it was.
Last, prices made a huge jump. 2 lunch portion dishes and steamed dumplings with 2 glasses of water was $40.
Overall, I probably will not go back seeing as how it’s not really a Thai restaurant anymore.

I'm a DoorDasher and this place repeatedly lies about order completion. They lie and tell you 5 minutes wait and even after 20 minutes the order is not ready. Dishonest and deceiving every single time.

We’ve ordered from Noodle Wave Frisco several times and it’s great every time. They are fast and fresh- we modify our order and it’s always accurate. We almost always do takeout and the packaging is nice as well as the portions. Spice levels are true to description

Horrible service. Waited 30 min for ice cream.

Disappointing Thai food. We ordered the spring rolls and they had a stale odour. The summer rolls were decent. Panang curry tofu had a strange after taste and really too many tofu pieces with little veggie. Tom Kha soup had an overwhelming turmeric taste. The noodle dishes were the saving grace - Pad Thai and Pad Kee Mow.
Service was exceptional with a very busy restaurant.

We always order take out from this location and this week we had dinner there. It was insanely delicious! The crispy chicken in green curry is outrageously good. Service was outstanding and we love how consistently good this place is.

I am a frequent customer of this restaurant and I have visited on 07/10/2024 at 3:15 pm and ordered a combination of fried rice from their menu. I have ordered this in the past 2 months at least 3 to 4 times (dine-in and takeaway). but during my todays visit. I got no soup along with the order, when asked I was told it was over because we had a lot of customers today. and the quantity of fried rice dropped significantly with larger tomato pieces in the fried rice to pump up the amount. when I asked about this, I was told, they have reduced quantity due to the guidelines given by their owner. It is very shocking to hear such a statement to serve less for the same price of $ 17.27.
and I left still feeling hungry.

The thai red curry here is amazing! It has a rich broth, crisp vegetables, and has a depth of flavor. Service was friendly, but keep in mind they charge $3 extra for more rice. I wish they provided more initial rice with the curry. The atmosphere was nice, but the AC was not working the last time I came. Recommend for a good red curry, with sizable portions!
