This restaurant is one of my favorite Thai restaurants that I’ve visited for years now but when I visited this afternoon (January 15) the customer service was poor. The new server was rude and did not bring us water prior to our food arrival. When I placed my order I told him I wanted my food not too sweet which is what I always request and there’s never a problem but he made it seem like it was a problem. When I told him I wanted my food not too sweet he said “have you been to this restaurant before to know how we make our food because you’re asking for your food to not be sweet”. I clarified that my food can be sweet but not too sweet yet he acted like it was difficult to understand. I then asked him to bring us water and include lemon and he stared in the air like it was a strange thing to ask for. The sassy attitude was beyond strange and unnecessary. I knew he wouldn’t bring my food as I requested so I spoke to a woman wearing a white t shirt uniform with very long hair. She did not take my complaint about the server seriously and instead said “oh he’s just from Lao and they’re very straightforward people but I will tell the chef”. When my food came out it was very sweet and not modified in any way shape or form so I doubt they told the chef. The lady never came to our table to ask if I like my food. The fact that a simple request couldn’t be done shows the two employees lack of effort and intentional disrespect. I took what they did as a subtle “you’re going to eat it how we make it”. This kind of shady and rude behavior will certainly chase customers away. I’m sure if the general manager knew he would have corrected them because the male general manager is excellent at what he does and always double checks with customers to ensure they got their requested food. I didn’t bother asking for the general manager because I had made my request twice and didn’t want anyone tampering with my food by saying my request a third time.
The food was ok, I've had better.
To go orange chicken was a little crunchy, small portion with a lot of veggies underneath to make the portion look larger. The orange sauce was good.
Same thing for the drunken noodles. I had 2 large tomatoes in the small portion.
No egg rolls come on to go lunch orders.
The food was really good. But I order combination fried rice with chicken and shrimp, and I only got two shrimps in my plate. The waiter kinda forgot about us but I understand as he was really busy. The host/front desk were all really nice. Wish I woulda had a better experience as the food was great but the experience overall left me with a “meh” feeling about the place. Wouldn’t come back again.
"Living" magazine readers voted Blue Mint as "the Best Asian Restaurant." The magazine is local to Arlington and Mansfield. Our friend – a foodie – said that many of her friends loved it. We trust our friend’s suggestion.
The restaurant is a combination of themes. Thai food is at its core. But its Asian fusion. There are dishes from Japan, China, and Vietnam. Yet, it looks like a sports bar. There are big-screen TVs with the latest live sporting events. Your favorite beers are cheaper.
We wanted to try dishes from the Lunch Specials menu. But not every dish we wanted was on that menu. So, we added those extra dishes. From the Lunch Specials menu, my wife ordered Pad Thai. Not on the Lunch Specials, were Fresh Rolls and Panang Curry (my favorite)
Though we ordered Fresh Rolls, the restaurant served us Fried Rolls as well. They were free. Both types of rolls were delicious.
The service was friendly and efficient. The temperature of the food was perfect.
The Pad Thai was the best we’ve had in years. It had a smoky flavor which we hadn't tasted before. The fried tofu in it was delightful. The bean sprouts were fresh and crunchy.
The Panang Curry was flawless. The sauce was rich and thick. The chicken was tender. The steamed rice that came with it couldn’t be better.
We finished lunch by sharing a bowl of Green Tea Ice Cream. This was also perfect.
The portions of Pad Thai and Panang Curry were generous. We had to take them home for dinner. Then, we had a repeat of the delicious dishes.
I can confirm that my friend and the readers of Living magazine are correct. Blue Mint is an Asian restaurant with delicious food and efficient service. Without a doubt, it will be one of our favorite restaurants.
The employees were amazing especially Tyler and Pedro! God bless!
Mike is a pillar in the community and he has done more than just turn around a business. Everything is different now and absolutely amazing. The food, the enviornment, staff and service are outstanding and I look forward to many more meals and great times at Blue Mint! EPIC S***
Food was priced as expected. Very helpful wait staff. Good tasting food.
👍🏽
Best orange chicken!!!
Great food and service was excellent.
Had an overall great experience here, will for sure visit again!
Amazing service and food! I definitely recommend coming here if you’re craving Asian food!! 😋
Staff was so nice and accommodating us when we moved tables after meeting up with friends.
The food was wonderful and our server Ethan was amazing!
Loved it!
Blue Mint in Mansfield on Debbie Ln is our favorite restaurant since it opened in 2008. Good food, great service, nice atmosphere
always great food, had a problem while ordering online and manager was rude, otherwise good service
I've tried this place multiple times now, the drunken rice is so good, so are the teriyaki dishes, the dumplings were good, I plan to try the drunken noodles next

exemplary service from tyler, very quick and efficient, lovely to be around
Love Blue Mint, always great food!!
Great food and service
Great server and Great food
Good food
Always a favorite thai spot comming here.
I've been coming here for about 4-5 years now and I've never had any problems here. The service and atmosphere is wonderful and I truly appreciate the work being done here. I have even brought friends here and now they are regular patrons, this place is excellent.
Pedro was the best server and took care of us completely! We will return because of his phenomenal attention to customer service! We had a great time, thank you!
Very Clean, extraordinary food and very friendly servers. I love it
The food was very tasty. But way to expensive for the portion sizes we got. $17 for a small container of fried rice! They ask do you want steam rice brown rice or fried rice with the entres. He didn't say there was an uncharge for fried rice. But each entre had a $2 upcharge on the receipt. 4 entres, a sampler, and 1 side of fried rice, $98. Not worth that much!
This place was my favorite place till today, I ordered online at 6:35pm my pick up time was 7:20pm , I arrived at 7:25pm they guy at the register tells me my order is being worked on and it will be out shortly, it’s usually always ready when I get there, I would have been ok waiting another 10min but I left 5min till 8pm and when I got home my food was cold, so disappointing because I love the food, won’t be going back.
Great Service! Great FOOD! Delicious as always!
I currently don’t live near the area but when I come to visit family I always make an effort to come here! The pad see ew with chicken is my main go to and the crab rangoons are to die for!
The service and the food were excellent. I have several favorites I choose from. Great attentive staff.
Sports bar with good thai food, yes please. TVs everywhere. It does have a bit of a cleaning supplies smell which means they clean but you know what I mean. The food is great. Chicken lo mein, wonton soup and fresh spring rolls is what we ordered and all were good. Definitely come back. Pedro was our server and he was 10/10.
👍
Nice decor and delicious food. Server is very polite as well
Truly the best Thai food I’ve ever had and so fresh! I will be driving the 30 min it takes me to get here!
Wonderful service, big portions, delicious food!
Me and my kids love it! I am vegan, and they have lots of options. My nine year old loves the mascot, and she loves the blue-mint-mobile! My kids love to talk to the owner! He is the nicest and the food is THE BEST!!
I ordered the Spicy Fried Rice with beef and shrimp with medium spice level for my aunt and these are her exact words. "If you want your mouth and butt on fire please get it! The food is delicious." The shrimps are phenomenal.
For myself I ordered the yaki soba with medium spice level and it was very delicious with a heavy kick very delicious we both will be back again.
My server was Mr Pedro thank you.
Great little lunch thai spot! Love the spicy fried rice, pad kee mao, and pad see ew. Sometimes a little inconsistent, otherwise it would be 5 stars.
If you haven’t tried their Crazy Noodles, you don’t know what you are missing. I had mine with the hot heat level and it was perfect. For great Thai food you can’t go wrong by trying them.
Some the Best TOP 👌 NOTCH Thai we have EVER had!! I loved 😍 🥰 ♥️ it so much I bought a glass from there as a souvenir! LMFAO 😆 🤣 😂
Tom yumm soup was not good it was too sweet and the fried rice was extremely dry.
Food was awful. I was told they have a new cook. Curry was great!
Absolutely LOVE this spot. Food is FIRE!!
Flavor, spice level always on point.
The food was great! I cannot wait until they open their new location in Midlothian.
Great meal and atmosphere! Will definitely be back!
Prices are too high for what it is
We love Blue Mint. The food is very good and they are never stingy with the servings. My favorite dish is chicken pad thai! Their wait staff make you feel great and they are very attentive!
When our Thai food craving hits this is our favorite place. Great food, quick service, and convenient hours especially if you like an early lunch or dinner. Give it a try! We’re very glad they are in our neighborhood!
This is the holy grail of places you can eat
No more fast food asian cuisine for me! I had the pleasure of being introduced to Blue Mint at an open house. From the first taste of those Crazy Noodles i was hooked! The food is absolutely authentic and delicious! You will not be disappointed.
This is tough. Bad/slow service VS good food. Being the only 2 people in there it took around 15 minutes before we were asked if we wanted a drink. 8 minutes later we finally had said drinks. When we eventually were able to eat it was good. So I'm sure I can get both elsewhere.
Great Food!
I got the chicken and broccoli. My wife and her friend got the orange chicken. They got 3 times more chicken than I did. If you don't want to pay dinner price for a lunch portion, get the orange chicken.
Edit:
Your response would be understood if I paid a lunch price.
Who pays the dinner price to get a lunch portion? That is what happened with my chicken and broccoli.
We agree. I should have ordered the orange chicken and received a dinner portion since I paid the dinner price.
We’ve been a couple of times and food is pretty good, but I went this past weekend and got a to go, 1st the short Asian guy at front was rude, I asked for 2 extra sauces and he said yes, when the food came out I asked if it was in there same guy said yes rudely, but someone went to the back and got them for me, as walking out that same guy walked out in front of me and just let the door shut in my face(mind you I had my to go bags in my hand) that was rude as well and to top it all off when I got home there was no rice for the chicken curry in bag and there was no extra sauces, glad the other guy went back and got them for me, not sure if we will be back, will find another establishment to spend our money, suggest owners learn and teach everyone common manners and good customer service while working in this Industry!
I grew up in Southern California, where pan-Asian cuisine was plentiful and delicious. I'm spoiled. I admit it. Blue Mint was some of the best I've had since moving to Ellis County, where it's not easy to find authentic Asian cuisine. I ordered the green curry. It had plenty of basil to balance the heat. Very nice. For the price, the food is great. I'll be back!
It was our first time trying this place and it did not disappoint!!! The food tasted amazing and everyone was so nice and friendly. We will definitely be revisiting!
They are consistently good!
The food doesn't taste the same. Old chef was perfect
We've been ordering the same food from here for several years (crazy noodles) and it has always had a great mix of sweet and spicy. We just ordered it today and they must have either got a new cook or changed the recipe because we had to add a lot of our own spices/sauce at home to fix it up. Very disappointed in whatever change was made.
A GREAT place to have dinner.
The food is great. The service is great. There is some kind of odor. Not a food odor and not pleasant.
Great drunk noodles ,they melt in your mouth. Yellow curry on point . Excellent spring rolls. Highly recommend
Fantastic food, and fantastic service, all the staff were friendly and accommodating, never had to wait for re fills and the food came out very fresh and hot, had possibly the best pad Thai I've ever had. Will definitely be returning!
The prices are too high.
Crazy noodles are the best!
Wow... OMG 😱 It was an excellent experience for our family, especially because that Sunday, 12:30 pm, all the famous restaurants were super full and with long waiting lists. We were passing by and decided to go in and thank God the food, the service and everything was excellent 👌
Visited recently for a special event. The food was so delicious, the owner was very gracious, accommodating and entertaining. We will be back!
I used to really love this restaurant and would eat there relatively often. More recently, however, I have not enjoyed my food. It is flavorless and bland. I order the spicy fried rice and it was bland and not spicy. Today, I order the yaki soba (which is my favorite) and it was also bland. The spice level was also not hot like I ordered. Soy sauce hasn’t even helped it. I’m not sure what has changed but I will not be ordering again for a while. I am disappointed because this was one of my favorite restaurants in Mansfield.
The Golden Pouches are awesome. Service was quick and attentive.
The food was amazing! Great taste, and superb hospitality from waitress and staff members. Loved the Crab Rangoon's and Green Curry.
Great service and great food. Also a very welcoming environment.
Exceptional service and delicious food. The owner was amazing.
Crab Rangoon was sooooooo good definitely coming back !!!!
Best Thai food in town!! The tom kha soup is my fav and my kids love the pad Thai. Very authentic food. The owners are awesome people too!
The food compares at par with the second best in Thailand which I dined at in Bangkok. This is the best of authentic thai that works with our taste buds.
Nothing to write home about. It was nearby so we stopped in.
Food was amazing as usual. Have to pace myself since my office is so close, but with so many great options don't have to worry about getting burned out!
This my second visit and by far their service and food has hit the spot. Hard to find an authentic place for Thai food.
Amazing service, delicious food, great people!
Tasted FANTASTIC
An awful dining experience!
Meals for eight of our party of nine arrived over a span of fifteen minutes. The ninth (being mine) took an additional ten/fifteen minutes.
Puzzling too to see a group of eight arrive after, order, and served before any of our party.
Could have easily made a case that my meal be comped in addition to staff taking it upon themselves to waive the automatic tip policy for our inconvenience or at least an apology.
Unfortunate that zero stars for Service is not an option.
Amazing food and amazing owners!!
The food is always top notch, but it’s the customer service/experience that keeps us coming back. I’ve never been to a restaurant where the owner took such extreme pride and ownership in his establishment. Blue Mint is the absolute best!
This is my very last time ever giving them a try. The poor service that I have received the past few times has become very consistent. On one occasion, I went in and was seated, and then no one ever came back to take even a drink order. Another group of people came, and after we were seated, their order was immediately taken, and they were serviced like they were VIP. I literally had to say something to even get them to come to our table. The young gentleman, who is the new owners son, was very apologetic for the service we received. The other guy, who's been there for a while face basically let us know he didn't care. I came in today with my daughter and experienced the exact same behavior. When we walked in, the guy in the front sat us. He sat the menus down and walked off. NEVER TO RETURN OR EVEN LOOK OUR WAY. The younger guy walked past us 3 times and did not acknowledge us sitting there. I picked up my phone after sitting there about 5 mins and started my timer. They each went to every other table that was there, and neither came to our table. After over 5 mins on the timer, my daughter stood up to leave. The younger gentleman (owner's son) at that point asked if we had been helped. We said no, we had not, and we left. I'm a very loyal customer to any establishment I patronize. I will NEVER return here and will try to convince as many people that I know not to ever go there.
POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Sat at our table for about 10min all to never be acknowledged by the workers. We were never asked what we wanted to drink nor what we would like to eat! It was during lunch time and everyone else at the other tables had drinks and food. One of the waitors walked past our table 3 times and did not take our order nor ask us what we wanted to drink. We got up and walked out! This place will never get my money again!!! We have come to this place on numerous occasions and have given them plenty of our money all for them to treat us like we don't matter! Never again. They only want a certain type of people coming into their establishment and it shows! Take your money else where! Do not recommend!!
This place is amazing!! We recommend it to everyone!!!
I have been here many times or lunch but when I came here today and ordered my food which the waiter didn’t even get it right my food came out 15 seconds later pad tai it was disgusting couldn’t eat it almost threw up on table disgusting will never step foot in here I’m going home feeling sick and vomiting stay away from here o on top of it all the bill was about 40 for 2 plates
Food was soo good
The outside didn't match the inside, I expected given the price of the items listed online that the interior would be something a little nicer that matched the inside. Very basic kinda eatery on the inside, food portions were good there was in fact a lot of food on our plates. The food itself however I'd compare to a Chinese food buffet, very very far from real Thai the 'americanized' version. It tasted good, but not good enough for the price tag on it. Servers were very kind and fast. But for how much it costs I will not be going again. Some people are really into that kinda thing, but don't go if you're expecting legit Thai cuisine.
It's an okay place. Not my favorite Thai spot but it isn't horrible. Lots of options, spice levels are great, it's just a bit leaning on "generic Asian food" more than genuine Thai. The restaurant itself is very beautifully decorated at least. Good for a casual lunch choice. Prices are alright for what you get as well. My most recent visit I tried their Khao Soi, and you get a LOT of Khao Soi, but I find their curry dishes could be thicker. They're watery for curry.
Like I said, it's not bad by any means, but I would go elsewhere for satisfying Thai.
I love how many options they have to accommodate your needs with their food. My go-to extra veggies is always perfect!
Clean, fresh and delicious food.
I came here recently for a birthday dinner, and the service was amazing. The food was even better too! Their Thai basil fried rice was my absolute favorite. Thank you once again to the manager on duty Mike and the rest of the staff.
Enjoy the food and the casual dining experience. Invited coworker for their first time and also enjoyed. They have since returned.
Only ever ordered a few things from here, like the fried rice.
However it is absolutely delicious.
A little pricey but worth it in my opinion.
Pad Thai was SO fishy, (I know there’s fish sauce in it) but it was BEYOND excessive. No other flavor except the fish sauce. Very disappointed as I heard they were opening in Midlothian and was excited to have Thai spot nearby, hope Midlo location tastes better!
Oddly enough they have the best kids chicken lo mein in the entire world. We go just to steal our children's food.
Left the rice off a rice dish. I will not be back.
We've been to this place 5 or 6 times. We stopped by today at 2:39pm. The OPEN sign was on. They refused to seat us, because they were going to close at 3pm. I guess they can't tell time. No offer of take-out menu, the hostess just wanted us to leave. As far as the food goes it's OK but not great. Drive another mile or two. Won't be stopping here again.
Edit as response to the owner: 1). You did not give us a 25% discount. I paid 66.03 which included crab ragoon $9, fried tofu $6, Tom Kha with chicken $10, kids lo mein $7, orange chicken $14, and sirloin $15. 2). I left $0.97 cents for poor service. Your server did not approach us until he realized he messed up our order which caused wasted time. 3). Your server left us a discount card to buy 1 get 1 50% off on the next visit. We will not be coming back. Thanks for bringing it to light about your response that you have no idea what took place.
Bad experience on Valentine's Day 2024. Food did not come out for 35 minutes. Our server Huy, did not check on us. If it wasn't for the other server we probably wouldn't have gotten our dinner. Food was so so, I wouldn't recommend anyone come here unless you have time to waste.
I ordered Pad Thai with tofu to go and it is super good! Maybe could have gone with max heat but medium is good too. The employee who checked me out was also super kind. Will be back!
I've been looking for great Tai food, this place is the bomb. Good size servings, authentic flavor food, and the staff are warm and courteous. Will go back often.
Service was fast and order was accurate. Fair price for all. Food was so good!! Fresh and so flavorful.
Great GEM here!!!! Came back to back weeks bc the DRUKEN RICE is out of the world…..I will find a pic and upload it soon!!! Well done with the swift service and professionalism….get the order no spicy and then use the group of sauces and spices to flavor your dish to your liking!!! Excellent execution and well done!
The food is good and very flavorful. Hot was a little too hot for me, but medium was great. Mild level starts to lose some of the flavor. My favorites are the Pad Kee Mow, Pad Thai, and the Pad See Ew.
Service is generally good, but I have had my pickup order forgotten before (they re-entered my order when I arrived), and I have received the wrong meat in my order before (chicken instead of beef).
I usually like to dine in because the fresh food tastes better, but they do take out as well. They often have coupons in the mail, email, and sometimes website.
This is one of my favorite places in the area. The food is great and the service is friendly.
I'm super sick. Like barely getting out of bed sick. I ordered wonton soup and appetizers last night. They left it outside my apartment gate. The guy said he had a problem getting to my door. I text him and fell in and out of sleep trying to tell him which door is opened for visitors. My apt is pretty lively ppl come in and out all the time. But he just left it there....
Nice spot with plenty of seating. Good menu variety and if you're looking for spicy, you found the right spot.
Good food and service. Want it spicy? You're definitely in the right place!
Not sure what the hype is why they have awards
The food was average and seemed to be very Americanized, which is not a bad thing. But there are way better restaurants. Rice was very dry and a piece of my chicken was raw I still ate the rest. I would try again but would get something different
Excelente personas
By far the best in Mansfield, Texas. Don't miss out on this place!
Absolutely delicious food! They make their chili oil from scratch! Great prices, amazing service. Beautiful atmosphere! 10/10 will be back!!!!
-Staff was polite
- Food very flavorful
Can’t get enough of this place. Veteran owned and 10% military discount.
Wife love their yaki soba noodles. I’m always bouncing between yellow curry & pad thai
Super great little spot. Nice atmosphere and very cozy. I had the crazy noodles with chicken (hot). Was pleasantly spicy and very good. Service was a little lackluster . Had to wait long periods of time for refills but that’s the biggest and really only complaint I could have.
We have been loyal clients until today, but we won't go back to them. We ordered Pad Thai - it came with no meat, or nearly, without the extra tofu we requested, but with a complementary hair. Also, forget about free pies with orders over 35USD. It's upsetting, because this is one place we trusted to serve good food, but now we know not to.
This is by far our FAVORITE Thai place in the area. Our favorite, really a 5-star dish, is the Kow Soi (spicy noodle/chicken curry).
Not the biggest fan of the sports bar vibe, but the food is amazing. We've tried a lot of different Thai places, and overall this one is the best. All of our Thai 'traditional' favorites (pad Thai, crazy noodles, varied curries) taste the best here, and our young children like coming here too.
Portions are generous, menu is broad, service is fast, flavors are top-notch.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND
Phenomenal restaurant
But side note if they ever ask you spice level DO NOT ORDER OVER LEVEL 3
😂
The food is the best Thai food my family has found in 3 cities around us. We routinely make the 35 minute one-way drive, because they taste the best, have the best value, & take reasonable, responsible precautions.
Latest visit gave us the same amazing food and great service--now with TVs showing sports and beer for those who enjoy it.
The only thing I would change, is I wish that it was noted on the website that the kitchen closes 30-45 minutes before they close to reset from lunch. It was disappointing to have to order take out when we had planned to dine in.
Came here because Blue Mint stands out whenever you drive past it on Debbie Lane, plus I’ve heard good things about it.
To start off, atmosphere is excellent. They boast many awards and recognitions. The restaurant has a modernized aesthetic (versus a more hole in the wall authentic Thai feel). Lots of space and room. Nicely decorated. A little cold so for those who get cold easily, bring a sweater.
I have to give the food 4 stars overall just because I didn’t like the pad Thai, and I’m a pad Thai connoisseur.
The Thai milk tea was excellent. 5/5. Very creamy, milky, like caramel. Delicious taste.
Pad Thai, 3/5. Way too much fish sauce. The taste was saturated with a noticeable fish sauce taste. It didn’t taste drenched but enough to where every bite felt more and more fishy. A few bites were ok. Then I ate more and more and noticed the fish sauce taste linger.
Curry noodle soup, 4/5. I don’t have any other curry noodle soups to compare to as this is my first time trying it but I will say, despite the appearance, you can get full quickly. The curry broth was flavorful, the noodles were a little too dente for me (I took my order to go and ate at home. I heated up the broth to a boil with the noodles inside and the noodles were still dente), I liked the crispy noodle onion thing that comes with it.
Best Thai cuisine I’ve ever had. Clean, friendly, and veteran owned.
I don't know who was cooking 10/10/23 but the food I ordered was inedible due to the amount of pepper flakes in the food. I ordered 2 crazy noodles and drunken fried rice. I like hot food but not pepper flakes with a side of noodles on the side.
I paid too much for food that tasted as bad as what I received.
Great food and excellent service!
Best Thai place in Mansfield and probably DFW. If you want it hot, ask for it to be "Kenny" hot. You won't be disappointed.
If you eat Thai food a lot, make sure you get on the mailing list for special loyalty offers as well!
I came in on Sunday around 2:40 and ordered a Pad Kee Mow lvl 5 and a Pad See Ew level 3 with the chicken satay and dumplings on the side. I can say for sure that this place is 10/10 the level 5 was actually spicy compared to some other thai places. Everything was done well and the service was kind despite me coming in at the end of lunch service.
Best Thai place in the lower DFW place that I've tried.
I ordered the mussamun and green curry the flavor was good but the potatoes and other veggies in the curry were raw and under cooked..
I came back to give this place another chance and I'm glad things are getting back to the way there were. Thank you to the staff for giving me the food I loved and missed.
The food was very good indeed. The service was great and we had a wonderful conversation with the Owner. We definitely want to come back.
Edit: Had a bad flavorless takeout order today. Tom Kha was watery and bland. Noodles in the Pad See Ew were an odd texture. What happened? This restaurant is so close that we will probably try again, but please do better.
This is our favorite Thai place in Mansfield. Lunch specials are great with a delicious spring roll. Favorite entrees are spicy fried rice, pad see ew, and crazy noodle. The only reason it's 4 stars is because the quality is not consistent. Must be one chef that isn't quite as good. Also, beware, their spicy scale is a little hotter than most other Thai restaurants. I like a good medium, but that is a level 2 at Blue Mint. A 3 here is like a 4 at other Thai restaurants. Too hot for me. Service is fast and friendly.
