Homey choice with a cheery vibe furnishing Thai standards & offering a basic weekday lunch buffet.
Glad I tried this place and trusted the reviews! Worth the 15 min drive. Very friendly service. Food came out fast and hot. Spice levels were as ordered and expected. Will definitely be coming back. Tried the eggrolls for appetizers, red curry with a level 2 spice and the thai orange chicken and all were fantastic. Give it a try if nearby!
Absolutely wonderful food and amazing service!! We walked in and were immediately greeted by the owner with a huge smile and a motion to choose a table. He brought us our drinks and I am a huge mango sticky rice fan so I ordered it for an appetizer 🤣 He laughed and said it was really good. He was right! It was perfection!!
We ordered the beef jerky and cucumber salad for appetizers too. The jerky was unique and delicious. The cucumber salad a great starter for dinner and a wonderful end to a hot day.
For meals we ordered pad Thai and ginger pork. Both were outstanding. My friend’s pad Thai was way too spicy for me which is exactly how she wanted it. My ginger pork was flavorful with great texture variations.
The owner checked on us many times. Our drinks were always full and we were never left wanting. He asked if he could get us anything else and, well, I’m a huge fan of mango sticky rice and theirs was fenomenal so we got another! 🤣 The second one come out in a lovely heart shape.
We paid and thanked the owner for his hospitality and delicious food.
This easily became my favorite Thai restaurant in the area. The owner is super friendly and thorough. The food was legit Thai food and if you like spice…this is Asian spice level.
Food ordered: Thai Beef Salad, Drunken Noodles, sticky rice, and Thai iced tea
The drunken noodles are the best I’ve had and the Thai beef salad had a really good balance of sour, spicy, and a touch of sweetness. The Thai iced tea was good but it had a vanilla flavor that I’m not a fan of but don’t get me wrong, it was still good
I’ll definitely go back again and take some pictures.
After seeing all the hype about the orange chicken.... we had to check this place out. Let me tell you, the orange chicken is the real deal! It's a bit different than what you will get from many of those fast food express style restaurants. Not a tempura style with big pieces. The chicken is thinly sliced and has this amazing crispy texture. It's very unique and almost addictive.... you can't stop eating it. The portions are generous and the prices are very affordable. Service was outstanding too. We will definitely be back soon!
Nestled in an unassuming strip mall, amid a medley of businesses, lies a local gem that dishes out some of the most authentic Thai cuisine you'll find in the metroplex: Bangkok House Thai Restaurant. Stepping into this mom-and-pop haven, you're immediately enveloped in warmth, courtesy of the genuinely kind staff.
Heeding the advice of fellow food enthusiasts and our attentive server, we embarked on a culinary journey with the Thai Style Orange Chicken, Shrimp Fresh Roll, and the Seafood Pad See Ew—extra spicy, naturally. The Thai Orange Chicken, with its delicate, crispy batter encasing tender chicken slices, drenched in a tangy, sweet, and subtly spicy sauce, was much unlike any Americanized orange chicken I've chowed down on at the local take out spots. It stood out from any orange chicken I've tasted around these parts and was unique; in a really good way!
The Shrimp Fresh Roll, wrapped in a delicate rice paper and infused with fragrant Thai basil, paired perfectly with a sumptuous peanut dipping sauce. It's a delightful choice, whether you're in the mood for a light appetizer or a main course.
The Pad See Ew, my go-to benchmark for Thai restaurants, did not disappoint. Ordered at a spice level 5, and with an added splash of their exquisite chili oil, it hit all the right notes. This dish delivered everything I crave: depth, heat, and that unmistakable wok-fried flavor.
For those who champion local businesses and have a penchant for Thai food, Bangkok House should be at the top of your list. I can't recommend it enough—stop by and let your taste buds revel in the experience.
I'm on an endless quest to find local Asian restaurants. Today I found this one after searching Google Maps. The service, dining room, and food were all top tier.
I started with a cup of flavorful Tom Yum Goong (with shrimp, that is). For my main I ordered the unique Thai Orange Chicken. It's not as sweet as Chinese American orange chicken, and it's more savory. I loved it.
Kudos to the staff for an outstanding lunch service.

Amazing food with friendly and steady service, great drinks and desserts can't recommend the mango sticky rice more 10/10
The food was so delicious! I normally get the max spice at every thai place and am disappointed that it's not spicy not here! I ordered 4/5 and it was so so good! The service is exceptional the owner checked on us very frequently and tried to refill my cup every time it was lower than 3/4 full. 10/10 would recommend and definitely coming back 😊😊
We just left and I couldn’t wait to review this place. SO good and great process. Also, the service was some of the best I’ve had! Definitely will be back!
This easily became my favorite Thai restaurant in the area. The owner is super friendly and thorough. The food was legit Thai food and if you like spice…this is Asian spice level.

I’ve lived in southwest FW and the alliance area of north FW and I can confidently say this is the best Thai food we’ve had anywhere in the FW area. We’ve eaten in and had incredible service including the owner/manager being very gracious with the mess my 19 m/o son inevitably made with fried rice. I offered to clean it up myself and he insisted that I not. We’ve gotten it to go several times and it doesn’t lose any quality that way either. The orange chicken and green curry are musts. We drive 25 mins each way past 10 other Thai places to come here. They do it right for a reasonable price.
Great cozy spot with good, fast service and fresh tasty food. Their egg roll is the best one I've had anywhere and the pho has such a great consistency and taste! The Mango Sticky Rice was the perfect dessert to end on as well!
Always amazing.
The food is great. It is also in good portions. The place is a little outdated but the customer service is very good. I love their dessert and the owner is really friendly. Highly recommend to try it out to experience the taste of Thailand.
I am in this area frequently for work and had been wanting to try their lunch that I have heard is excellent. Wish I had not waited so long now! Had the orange chicken and it was fantastic! Came with egg roll (also excellent) and fried rice. I thought the fried rice looked a bit basic but it was some of the most flavorful I have ever had! All for $14 and I have enough leftovers for another meal. Owners are super friendly! Don’t pass this place by!
Great lunch at a reasonable price…staff was quick and friendly.
The orange chicken is delicious. Incredible fried spring rolls. Very friendly staff. Older venue, but don't let the decor scare you away.
One of my favorite places to eat! I like their coconut soup, orange chicken, papaya salad , pad Thai , spring rolls , lo mein noodles...
Food was great 👍 and service was very friendly.
Everything’s was great, now I eat there once a week best orange chicken I have ever had no cap! (No lies) lol
The people who run this restaurant are always polite and friendly. The atmosphere is quiet and peaceful. The food is always amazing! And the lunch prices are great!!!
Great food with large portions, good prices.
This is real Thai food..!! The best curry I've ever had. Another patron there was a regular and he drives over 25 mi to get here. You know he's passed many other Thai restaurants, that says a lot. I'll be a regular here as well.
Even after trying many other places during travels, I still think this is the best Thai food. Come try it for yourself and you'll see.
The orange chicken is to die for. If u like spicy or not, both options are super yum! I highly recommend trying it, it's like no other orange chicken I've ever had. Yum yums.
Excellen food, very good quality. Excellent service, staff very attentive. Modest accommodations but comfortable!
Swag!!! I love the hearts for the rice and bowls!
Always great! The orange chicken is a favorite, but everything is good. The people here are super nice and friendly. Great place for the whole family!
Picked up a couple of orders of pho soups. It was OK, nothing special. The owner was nice. He took my order out to the car since I walked with a cane.
Owner is super cool. Great food.
We look forward to every order from this place, hands down the best takeout in town.(I've probably eaten here a few dozen times by now)
Orange chicken, crispy spring rolls and fried rice are fantastic together and it tastes like it's made with love and attention to detail unlike most other options near.
If you go the pickup route, service is always prompt and friendly.
Update two years later:
Still the best! At least a couple times a month I get my orange chicken fix.
Always a great meal at Bangkok house! Family owned and operated and the food is some of the best Thai food in Fort Worth!
I have been here a few times before and wasn't over impressed. Today's visit was a complete disappointment. I ordered the Teriyaki Chicken Lunch Special for $13.95. I assumed it came with fried rice but asked for it anyway. The chicken was dry and had very sauce. they put hot chicken on top of lettuce when I specifically asked for no salad. When it was time to pay the bill, she asked who had the extra side of fried rice. Well, I never got fried rice, it was more like steamed rice with little color to make it fried rice. She then said I owed $3.00 for fried rice. $13.95 for a lunch special is ridiculous, then to charge an additional $3.00 plus my drink made my lunch $20.00. The girl taking our order should have advised that the fried rice will be an additional $3.00. Failure to let your patrons know there is an upcharge is poor service and loss of customers. The service was terrible today as well. The other two people I was with had to constantly ask for water, and they would either not acknowledge them or just walk right past. Too bad this happened, the food was descent from time to time, but this sealed the deal, and I will not be back.
I recommend ordering the Thai tea.
I highly recommend, some of the best Thai food I have ever had and it's always fresh!
We just visited here with my family for the first time, and it was an outstanding experience! The food was incredibly fresh, particularly the pad Thai, which was bursting with flavor, and the orange chicken, which was perfectly crispy and tangy. The owner provided excellent customer service, making us feel welcome and valued. Highly recommended for anyone seeking delicious Vietnamese cuisine and top-notch service!
This is hands down the best Thai spot in Fort Worth. Consistent, delicious, amazing service. Love coming here. Pad Thai, Panama Curry, and Orange chicken are top tier delicious dishes. The owner is so friendly as well.
Absolutely wonderful food and amazing service!! We walked in and were immediately greeted by the owner with a huge smile and a motion to choose a table. Nice place
I have loved this restaurant for 20+ years.

Quiet and simple Thai rest with a very flavorful menu. Massaman Curry is excellent. Very reasonably priced.
The food was amazing. It isn't a fancy place but that doesn't matter. Family owned and operated. Authentic to the core. We had Pad Thai, Satay chicken and orange chicken. All were delicious and we had to take leftovers home.
I work down the street from here and anytime I crave thai food this place is my go to! The food is delicious, the customer service outstanding! If you ever in the neighborhood give it a try! The orange chicken is a must!
I love coming here. Me and my wife are regulars. We come here atleast once a week. The food is always good, service is great. It's just a great place to eat.
I’ve had Thai food in Bangkok and all over the DFW metroplex. I tried Bangkok House tonight with a group of friends and was blown away. Incredible! It was so good, I’m disappointed in myself for having never eaten here before. 10/10 will dine here again!
This place had amazing food! Everything was hot and fresh! Service was outstanding. We just stumbled on this place. It's a definite gem. We will be back.
We have become regulars here, the food is so good and the service is excellent. Be warned, the spice levels can get really hot really fast. They may be inconsistent sometimes, but we feel it just adds to the authenticity of made to order instead of big batch cooking like a buffet. We usually order spice level 2 (out of 5, with 5 being hottest), and if it’s not spicy enough, ask for more chili oil and adjust to taste. Personal favorites are the (popular) orange chicken and combination fried rice. Portions are generous, and if you order anything to go (or for delivery), they cut slits in the lid so that it doesn’t steam itself and get soggy by the time you eat.
Hands down the best orange chicken I’ve ever had. My husband remembered it from when he lived here years ago and we had to get some! It did not disappoint at all! So crispy with a nice kick. We got level 3 heat. It was enough food for us to share. Fantastic quick service and we will be back!!
I’ve lived in white settlement forever and finally gave this place and try. I’m so mad.. that I didn’t do it sooner!! Absolutely delicious!! Will definitely be ordering again! 12/10
They have the absolute best food & the staff are always so sweet! We live on the other side of Fort Worth but go out of our way to come eat here at least once a month. The orange chicken is the best I’ve ever had & their level 5 spice is no joke 🥵🥵
Great food, amazing service, mango sticky rice was awesome, orange chicken was delicious. Owner is aware.
We went here on a friend's recommendation. They serve a good amount on bowls and plates. Variety of dishes that can meet the heat of anyone's spice tastebuds or no spice. I had the Tom Yum Talay heat #2. We ate appetizers: spring rolls and fish cakes. Both were very yummy. The most delicious was the dessert, mango sticky rice. We finished it off but took leftovers home.
Out of the about half a dozen Thai places I've tried, this has taken the spot of #1 for me!
Everything was immaculate -- the food, the service, the cleanliness. The attention to detail from the staff was amazing and all of the food was among the best I've had. Especially the orange chicken and the green curry. Another noteworthy item is the mango sticky rice. The mango slices that they gave us with it were so perfectly ripe and drizzled with a deliciously contrasting coconut sauce.
I would HIGHLY recommend you give this place a shot. You will not be disappointed!!
Also, they have a lunch menu with their most popular items from Monday-Friday for under $10!! Seriously, what a steal!
My favorite Asian restaurant in Fort Worth! Delicious food, friendly service, clean restaurant and restroom, fast service. I got the orange tofu and my husband got the pad Thai. The heat level is legit! A 3 is pretty hot, the 4 was almost unbearable. I plan on coming back, this place is a gem!
Love this place. Great food. Owner is super nice and friendly!

We love this place. First time trying Thai food. We'll be back.
Amazing Thai Orange Chicken. Highly recommend trying this dish. The curries we're also delicious.
A hidden Gem of a restaurant with amazing service.
Phenomenal. Go get it.
Delicious food, great family run restaurant with fantastic service!
Great food, prices and service
I've order a few times on Doordash since the Thai restaurant by my house closed and it's so good! I've been real sick this week and ordered the Massaman curry and steamed potstickers. It was perfect since I can't open my mouth very much and was so warm for my sore throat.
Our new favorite spot, the orange chicken is amazing.
Bangkok House is a hidden gem that I frequent. Food is consistently great, service is fast and attentive, and the restaurant is always clean. I typically get the green curry for lunch, and Khao Soi and Pad See Ew for dinner with the fam.
My favorite type of, almost hole-in-the-wall restaurant! The service was quick, efficient and very good service. The flavors are great!! Spice level for me is only 2. Lol, I'll die otherwise!
This was our first visit and we will definitely be back. We had traditional Thai rice with shrimp, cashew chicken and pot stickers very good and fresh
If you haven’t tried their orange chicken you need too!! It’s amazing!! Also get the Thai iced tea, the best around! Always enjoy grabbing takeout here when I’m in the area
The food is excellent and the staff is very friendly!
I have been here several times for lunch. Food was delicious, service is fast.
Delicious and authentic Thai, so yummy.
Great food awesome people
Ive seen the place driving around and finally decided to give it a try.
I ordered take out here for the first time a couple of weeks ago for my wife and I.
We both got Green Curry w/ Chicken (Level 3 spice and Level 1 spice)
Seeing as how most "Mom and Pop" type of restaurants are typically my favorite for most cuisines, especially Asian and Thai, I was excited to finally try it.
Unfortunately, I was let down a bit.
The prices are fine and the portions are plenty, but the flavor was lacking.
The curry broth was watery and the rice felt like it was a day or two old.
Maybe I came on a bad day, which can happen to the best of us, but if I ever come back it will be during lunch for there lunch specials.
Service was great and the food was a delight 😊. I'd purchase again.
Love this place, have been eating here for years and never had anything that wasn't delicious. My go-to is the panang curry or Pad Wan Sen, but you can't go wrong no matter what you order.
The place was completely empty except 1 person when we stopped for dinner on a Tuesday night around 6. That should have been the first sign… The man that greeted us was so sweet and kind.
I ordered the chicken pad Thai which did not taste good. It tasted like a frozen bag meal that they nuked in the microwave and it tasted kind of like burnt plastic?
The crispy spring rolls also tasted frozen, just deep fried. My husband ordered some kind of shrimp spaghetti dish which was good.
It didn’t taste like authentic Thai food.
I couldn’t eat the food, we just paid and left it on the table.
Excellent food and very authentic!
Basil rice dish did not turn out as I expected. My wife glass noodle dish was good for her (spicy) and my son's checkn satay and peanut sauce was decent. The yellow curry dish my friend had was OK too. I do think the food was a tad sweet and designed for American palates. I do prefer more traditional/authentic Thai food as I have lived in SE asia for years. The fried rice was yummy tho!
For the first time as long as I've lived so far...and as many Thai restaurants I've been to..I can honestly say... I appreciate not being treated like a white person that can't handle heat. And being offered a 10 heat level for my food. I didn't even know existed. Oh, gosh...freaking best! This is hands down the best Thai restaurant I've ever been to. Ile always come here as long as I am in this area. Amazing!
❤️Love the Penang Curry and Orange Chicken.
Red Curry was delicious. Been to this place before, but it's now much improved.
I'm giving 5 stars because I've always been very satisfied with their food.... however, I ordered soup to go Because my friend is sick. And I also enjoy their soup and just was very disappointed this time around. I actually had that ad seasoning because there was no taste. It was just kind of sweet which is odd for that type of soup.
Bangkok is the very first original Thai restaurant of Ft Worth (40 years) & still outstanding food & service! Has the Thai standards including Thai tea & Chicken Kra Pow - recommended!
Good lunch specials. This place is clean, food comes out fast and hot. Favorite place to eat in the area. Pad Thai is my favorite and the Thai coffee is delicious.
Great food at a very reasonable price. The owner is kind and happy to help.
Food & service was great!! Highly recommend!
Owner is very sweet. Food is amazing. Thai coffee to go. It's perfect for a lunch break.
Great hidden gem! Customer service is amazing. Food is on point. Love this place!
Very friendly and remarkable food!!!
Ill be back! ;0)
This place is amazing. This thai place is the best Thai food in the area! 10/10
We thoroughly enjoyed eating at Bangkok House. The food was great and so was the service.
Love this place. Order delivery often, and finally made it in. Super clean and lovely employees/owner. The orange chicken is so tasty, it somehow always arrives crispy despite being delivered. All the standards are great. Having been to Thailand and eaten at some of the best in NYC, LA, and Vegas, can say this is absolutely up there!
I came here because I was craving curry. I was not disappointed whatsoever.
First off the vibes in this establishment are chill and comfy. Right off the bat I noticed the service was incredible. Our server was extremely nice and helpful. He even insisted on packing up me and my mothers left overs.
The food was immaculate. I ordered the yellow curry and was blown away by the amazing serving size and taste. My mother got pad thai and the basil friend rice. She said it was the best pad that she has ever eaten. We also got crab rangoon that had delectable pastry. I definitely recommend this amazing restaurant!
Great place. delicious food.
I enjoyed the salad dressing, peanut dressing. the entree was great and spicy level perfect.
my only complaint was the description of the veggies on the item I ordered was off but I'll remember for next time to ask for the specific veggies I want.
thanks
Great food, great service, spotlessly clean restaurant. Had their Massaman Curry, which was delicious. Ordered number 3 spicy, but seemed a bit hotter than that—will order number 2 next time.
Awesome food especially the curry dishes. I love this place.
Great place for Thai food. Very delicious. This is a Mom and Pop restaurant, so if you like Thai food, definitely hop in there and get some good food and support your local business.
One of the best Thai Restaurant. Red curry and Fried rice were out of the world. Everything we ordered was good.
It's very good
The food was good..
the Thai coffee was really good. the food was great. I got yellow curry w shrimp 🌶🌶 next time I'll try w tofu.
Amazing food and taste. I got the Panang Curry and will be coming back.
This is our favorite Thai place in the area! The prices are good and the food is delicious. We have never dined in, and the take out we have gotten is still delicious, which is sometimes not the case at other restaurants!
Everything was delicious!
Because I had read the reviews about the 1-5 hot, I picked a 2. Just the perfect spicy for me. I warned hubby and he stuck with a 1.
The Thai coffee and Thai Tea!!! Yum!
Thank you!
And the BEST wonton soup I've ever tasted. Drunken noodles, orange chicken...
Even my bro in law who is hard to impress said everything was delicious.
Do not order from this restaurant from Doordash. I was sent frozen spring rolls masquerading as 'vegetables roll'. Doordash refused to refund despite knowing what happened. I am done with this restaurant. AVOID.
Super cute and authentic place! The family running the place is super nice, respectful, and attentive! The Thai iced tea was super yummy, and the fried spring rolls were just as good! The noodles and curry are delicious!!!! Whenever they ask for your spice level, they mean it. The difference between a 2, 3, and 4 are drastic! The 3 was pretty spicy, but the 4 had me in tears! The staff always came and checked on us every few minutes and always topped off our waters. We left full with 5 glasses of water down between 2 people. All in all, this will be our new go-to place for Thai food! Amazing people, food, and service!
Delicious delicious food that never dissapoints!
Great!
The Orange Chicken is phenomenal. Very crispy and delicious! Definitely be going back!
Loved the staff. Loved the food. Hands down one of the tastiest thai food I have had. Be careful on the spice level. Spice level of 3 is also hot. Would go back
Omigosh why haven't I visited this restaurant before? I love the exotic dishes! Don't do what I did and make Chinese food requests, I mixed it up with Chinese 😆 We just laughed it off while they explained this is Tai
Outstanding service and the food is amazing amazing amazing Will definitely be going back
This place was great. all the way around.😁
Delicious food
Our food was exceptional! We have been back 3 times in two weeks. The customer service was 10/10 it’s a small family business and you can definitely feel that. This is my family’s go to place from now on! Curry is definitely a must try!
THE BEST ORANGE CHICKEN IN THE WORLD!!
The owner Aung himself comes to your table and entertains you. He is really nice and very accommodating.
Best orange chicken in the world, if you mexican get number 3 spicy.
Everything about this place is superb. From the food to the service everything is just so good.
YUMMYYYYYY
FOOD SO YUMMY!!! the food was so good! the service and the people there was great as well!
Small little restaurant that my daughter had me chauffer her to eat with her friends after the movies(Cinemark down the street). I enjoyed some takeout while the teens hung out inside.
I ordered the drunken noodles, with the tofu option. Not bad at all! I've had them before at other restaurants and usually they are sweeter.
Bangkok House makes theirs a little bit more savory and saltier. I asked for mild spice and that's exactly what they gave me. I didn't feel the spice as I was eating it but my lips burned just a little bit afterwards. 👍
They make their drunken noodles with fresh tomatoes, which was different for me. Not bad.
Other restaurants Drunken Noodles that I've had before have a lot more noodles, then other stuff.
At Bangkok House they put almost half and half the amount of noodles per everything else which in the beginning seems like you're getting almost no noodles, but by the time you eat through it there is a perfect balance of noodles. I like the texture of the tofu.
The little green leaf in the picture is basil by the way. A nice hint of sweetness to the spice.
Little fried triangles with a firm to extra firm texture. I wasn't really hungry when I ordered it, but then I started to nibble on it a bit, and then I eat almost all of it before I got too full. I don't live out this way, but if I'm out here shopping at the Ridgmar Mall and want some Thai food I'll keep them in mind.
Not too much parking directly in front of the restaurant, but there is parking off to the side by the donut shop.
* one more thing. Like I said earlier, I was the chauffeur for my daughter to hang out with her friends. I hung out in the car to give her some privacy with her friends and one of the ladies was nice enough to run my food out to me in my car, which I did not expect. Thought that was a nice gesture. I was just going to have my daughter bring it out when they were done.
Got the red curry, it was done on time, hot and very delicious!!!!
Go check this place out.
Delicious! Delicious! Delicious! We have been to Thailand, and this restaurant is pretty darn close to the absolute real deal! I would say 98%!! We enjoyed our food so much we ordered more the next day. We had it delivered to our hotel, and everything came packed well and steaming hot.
This little place was very good! Clean restaurant and really friendly people. I will be back soon.
I got the vegetarian eggplant dish to go. All of the vegetables were a perfect tender crisp. The sauce was delicious. I asked for level three spice level and it was just right the right amount of spice. This was my third time ordering. The service is always very kind and personable.
The drunken noodles were delicious! All of the food had big portions. I also enjoyed the owner's jokes. I hope to come back soon and try more of the menu.
***edit*** This place used to be my favorite Thai food until it was sold to new owners. Curry is now watery and nothing has flavor in it. Was so disappointed they didn’t follow the same recipes as the previous owners.
Best Thai food I've ever had! I've tried a couple of other places in Fort Worth and none of them are ever close.
So wish I could give this high ratings! Food was OK. I expected better, given the other high ratings. Sorry it wasn't.
We are here last night an I have no idea why we haven’t discovered this place earlier- it was really good all across the board. It was quiet and clean, the gentleman serving us was polite and friendly a told us about the menu, heat levels etc . What a great experience from start to finish .
Very good food and service
This place is amazing!! I have been coming here for almost 3 years and it has never disappointed me once, the service is great, and the food is amazing. I really don’t know what I’m going to do if they ever moved or stopped selling their food !! I think it’s a family business, and I think they are killing it
Superb Food! Awesome taste! Friendly fast service! Perfect portions (large, the way they should be!) Prices were good too! Definitely going to frequent this great little place!
Update:
Even years later the quality of food, the portions, and the price are perfect! I'm guilty of expected the same from Bangkok House Thai Restaurant as I've expected from most other Thai, Asian, or similar restaurants, in that; their prices would skyrocket, the portions would plummet and the quality would be subpar at best...
NOT HERE!
Everything is worth the price!
Very friendly and patient whether over the phone or in person! Not sure if this is a family owned and run restaurant or hired help but they certainly are top notch! I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who likes Thai food. Pad Ka Prow is my all time favorite, with the Thai Orange Chicken in VERY close second. I'm sure, no matter what you choose, that you're going to love it!
Bangkok House Restaurant is a magnificent little hole in the wall restaurant that serves Thai cuisine in west Fort Worth. We Googled “Thai restaurants” in Fort Worth and we’re intrigued by the awesome reviews, so we made the drive and HOLY COW… mind blown! This place definitely over-delivered and we found ourselves back for a second time a week later.
Bangkok offers something for both meat eaters and vegetarians. Their flexible menu options include the opportunity to substitute soy in place of meat in many of their classic Thai dishes. They menu includes appetizers, entrees, vegetarian dishes, house specialties, sides, salads, soups, curries, fried rice platters and an awesome kids menu.
Our order: For an appetizer, we ordered the Fresh Vegetable Rolls with Peanut dipping Sauce. The sticky rice paper filled with cold fresh vegetables made all of my veggie rolls come true! My husband ordered the Orange Chicken with Sticky Rice and we nearly fell out of our seats when we saw the amount of food in his platter! Impeccably plated with Sesame Seeds atop, the Chicken was served with a pile of rice shaped like a heart… dreamy for date night and a simple detail, but very thoughtful and well plated. I had the Tofu Pad Thai one time and the Mixed Vegetables with Tofu in Garlic sauce another time - equally fabulous and fresh. The little man who runs the place could not be more precious or kind! As thoughtful as the plates are dished, so is the service.
Pros: Seat yourself upon arrival and come as hungry! This little hole in the wall gets busy, so we recommend coming early. Easy parking, fresh food, beautiful plating and wonderful service! Seriously can not recommend this place enough!
Best Thai food in Fort Worth! This is a hidden gem. Family owned little restaurant. Casual dining with
Great place
The orange chicken was amazing, as was Terriaki (sp) Salmon!!!! It's a BYOB establishment so bring your beverage of choice . OH, I almost forgot the EGG ROLLS we're FABULOUS!
Great food all around. Family loved it. Good, fast service.
A Thai-food lover’s paradise. We’ve had Thai all around DFW, the state of TX, and around the country. Hands down this is one of our faves! 😍 You can taste the freshness and tradition in every individual ingredient. Their 5/5 spice level is the only that really made me sweat and second-guess my decision. The Thai teas are legit and not from pre-made mixes. We’re joining the community of regulars that frequent this place often, and for good reason 😋
AWESOME food. The owner is so friendly and works so hard to provide exceptional guest experience. Very local, relaxed atmosphere w 5 star food
I ordered cashew chicken, tofu panang curry and pineapple fried rice and I loved everything. I will definitely order from this restaurant again. And not to forget the food packaging was also of good quality.
Great food
Great service and delicious food. Can't believe this was the first time we stopped by after living down the street for the years. Will definitely be back.
