In the Spring of 2014, crushcraft opened as a small family fast causal restaurant looking to bring top notch ingredients, value, and the very best Thai food on planet Earth. crushcraft has quickly become a popular neighborhood eatery and awarded D Magazine's Top Ten Best Restaurant and featured on Food Network’s hit show Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives with celebrity Chef Guy Fieri. We're located in Uptown Dallas. Swing by for traditional favorites. We even blend and crush fruit waters daily as well as serve local craft beers on tap so come on by and hang out on our patio!
Really fantastic place. Super fun decor and unique menu wall. The food was out of bounds! Love the spice station so you can adjust it to your liking. So fun to see the foods and spices on shelf’s in the seating area. The garlic chicken was so flavorful yet simple. Same could be said of the Penang curry chicken. Will definitely make our way back here to try more.
Wowow!! Just found my favorite Thai restaurant!! The venue is so bright and welcoming and the staff were so polite and made you feel like family…and the food was beyond! We tried a bunch of items to truly get to know the place and really get true assessment… I can confidently say this is the best Thai I’ve ever had!! So good I even had to order more to take home! Can’t recommend enough!
I am OBSESSED with the fresh rolls. Possibly because of the sweet & tangy dipping sauce and the fact that there’s chopped peanuts inside. Most places serve spring rolls with a peanut dipping sauce but I like this way much better. I typically order Uber Eats when working but today I went in to pick up and it is the cutest place! I’ve tried the Crispy Garlic Chicken (9/10) and the Phat Ke Mao (6/10) and can’t wait to try other items on the menu.
Went around 2pm on a Monday, and it wasn’t busy at all.
Plenty of street parking, and there’s a small parking lot in front (they stamp something for parking)
The decor was cute, lots of Thai canned goods and spices for retail.
Very clean kitchen, we came in at a time where the whole kitchen was being scrubbed.
Food tasted like your average Thai food.
I was a little thrown off as to why the drunken noodles were served over a bed of Romaine lettuce, but the flavor was still good, not spicy at all.
The papaya salad was good, no spice to it though.
The meatballs were tender and sweet.
Overall good food, I’d come back.
$37 for 1 drunken noodle, 1 papaya salad, 1 order of meatball skewers, 1 beer and 1 bottle of water.
Well exceeded expectations. Both food and drinks are awesome. I am the most impressed by the Asian pickled vegetables on my dish instead of regular cabbage. That’s a bold move. If you are not adventurous and only like Americanized food, this spot is not for you. I wish there was a CrushCraft near where I live. Would love to come back!
I love this place so much! The Thai flavors are the most authentic I’ve found in DFW.
Not as flavorful as expected, peanut sauce was Devine though
The garlic chicken was SO good. Crunchy, sticky, the flavor was popping I didn't want to add any sauce at all to it, it was perfect as-is. It was served in a bowl garnished with a big banana leaf, and the portions were big enough to fill me up to the brim. Excellent!
Oh my god what an adorable atmosphere and flavorful/tasty food. I would highly recommend their drunken noodles and crispy garlic chicken. I wish I took a picture, it was fantastic.
Have been to Crushcraft many times over the years. My experience yesterday was disappointing. Went with my wife and two small kids for an early dinner. Ordered our food. The lady taking orders (seemed like a manager), wasn’t friendly from the start. We received two spoons for our meal, which included rice for two small kids (4 and 11 months), a rice bowl for me and a soup. Two spoons obviously isn’t enough. Anyways, continued with the meals and one spoon broke in half because they’re so flimsy. We went up to ask for another spoon and the lady responded with “we already gave you two”. Told her that we need another because one spoon broke and we have two small kids. She reluctantly gave me another.
Crushcraft owners, in what world do you think we collect and hoard spoons? Why do you have no regard for a family with small kids who need spoons to eat? With so much competition, why would you not at least be a little friendlier? You’re being cheap and inconveniencing your loyal customers who have small children. Do better. If you’re unable to cater to families then say that and take away the high chairs that you have.

SO GOOD! LOVE THE FOOD AND MY FAM OWNS ITTTTTT 😍😍😍

Food was spectacular however, employee was super rude when we asked if the kra pow could be made vegan (as indicated on the menu). They said yes but when placing the delivery order, there was no option. We called in and the employee said that we would have to call promptly AFTER placing the order to let them know to make it vegan, and hung up before we could even reply. They could not take down the name before for some reason. When we called soon thereafter, we said we want it with tofu and made vegan. She said it’s already vegan to which I replied, it comes with egg. She then said “ok no egg got it”. This is not what you expect at a restaurant establishment as staff did not know about allergens or dietary restrictions. It’s a shame because I truly enjoyed the food but any place that has bad customer service is an automatic no for me.
Crushcraft Thai Eats is a fantastic spot for authentic and flavorful Thai food! The dishes are vibrant, well-seasoned, and packed with fresh ingredients. The Pad Thai and Drunken Noodles are absolute standouts, with perfectly balanced flavors and a nice kick of spice. The casual, modern vibe makes it a great place for a quick lunch or dinner with friends. The staff is friendly, and the service is fast without compromising quality. If you’re craving bold, delicious Thai food, Crushcraft is a must-try!
Very sad they removed the Tom Kha soup from the menu it was the best in Dallas. I had hoped it was only temporary. I used to frequent Crush Craft multiple times per month but over the years my favorite things have been removed from the menu - sirloin in the panang curry, the fresh roll and Tom kha soup duo, and then the soup all together.
Fantastic. Hearty portions and great location. I will definitely be back!
The skinny salad was good. Have to admit that the khao soi was a bit disappointing.
Loved the drunken noddles.
Green curry and papaya salad were amazing. Saw it on Triple D and had to try it. Lived up to the hype!

This place was really cool inside, and I was really excited to go! I didn't really love the location, it felt out of place, there. I like that there's not a million options because it's easier to choose, but I'm not the biggest fan of spicy food and so many things were spicy. I want to go back and try the fried rice next time!
Some of the veggies had a rotten flavor and gave me diarrhea. Do NOT eat here.
Been here multiple times and it’s always been a great experience. My go to are the drunken noodles
My wife and I eat here at least once a month. It is a hidden gem of Dallas, and definitely the best value Thai food I have encountered. Whether we got our meal in person or ordered it on Uber, Crushcraft has never once gave us a meal that was anything less than fantastic. It is one of the few places with so many great options, I never order the same thing! It is just that good.
Less money for better food. Crushcraft is a family owned business that does it right. We will be back soon!
I love their drunken noodles and fried rice. The new location is super cute!
This is definitely one of my favorite restaurants in Uptown. Love the ambiance inside and how fresh the food is. I get the chicken Phat Se Ew. The rice noodles melt in your mouth and the flavors are fantastic. Service is great and prompt. Brought my girlfriend here tonight and she loved it as well. The price is very reasonable and you get a large portion of food. Going to start coming here more often
Great food & customer service

Had to try Crushcraft given that it was featured on Diners Drivein and Dives.
Food was excellent and authentic. Had trouble deciding on which I preferred - pad kee mow (drunken noodles) or pad Thai.
Only regret is not going with a bigger group so that I could taste more dishes.
Btw, this is a self serve restaurant- you order and pay at the counter and then pick it up when your name is called. Place is cute; nice vibe. Prices also good.
Food is good. Be careful they charge you for extra things you don't order..
Great food and amazing customer service!!
My take-out experience started with a slight miscommunication, but the staff very quickly resolved the issue and made my take-out order right. The owner even went out of his way to call me after-hours and ensure I was satisfied.
This is exactly the type of small, local business we should be supporting instead of faceless corporations. The food was incredible. I had the drunken noodles vegan style with tofu and the tofu fries, both of which were excellent. I would 100% recommend this place and will definitely return regularly.
Wow!!! Amazing food and wonderful service. If my husband and I lived here, we would eat here every week. Very friendly, delicious and good value for your money. Two thumbs up!!
Best Thai on the market. Literally $10-12 for a full plate. Very good. I get either drunken noodles or the pho se ew with pork.
Could be better if they offered shrimp or seafood options. Chicken’s always dry. To top it off the middle aged lady working the register has a terrible attitude.
Would have thought the customer service here would be welcoming with the good reviews. Went to get my order for take out and got a huge side of attitude out of the blue. And I then got my drink, which I thought was on the table, and the lady that gave me my food snatched it out of my hand and then told me "no, yours is in the bag". How am I supposed to know if you don't tell me. All you had to do was tell me and I would have put it back. Worst customer service experience I've ever had. If this is how people are treated by the staff I will never come here again.
Horrible customer service
I guess we don’t look like or dress like the regular customer base around the area (uptown).
Crushcraft Thai Eats truly impressed us with the bold and authentic flavors of their dishes. If you’re in the mood for Thai cuisine, this place is a must-visit.
We ordered the Skinny B Salad, Khao Soi, and Fried Rice. Each dish was not only visually appealing but also packed with rich flavors that made every bite enjoyable.
- **Skinny B Salad**: This salad was a delightful mix of fresh ingredients and a variety of textures. The combination of colorful vegetables, cashews, and a tangy dressing made it a refreshing and satisfying choice.
- **Khao Soi**: The Khao Soi was a standout, with its creamy and aromatic coconut curry broth. The noodles were perfectly cooked, and the addition of crispy noodles on top added a nice crunch. This dish was rich, flavorful, and comforting.
- **Fried Rice**: The Fried Rice was perfectly seasoned and cooked with just the right amount of spice. The egg on top added a nice touch, making it a hearty and delicious meal.
Overall, Crushcraft Thai Eats provided an exceptional dining experience. The ambiance of the restaurant was casual and inviting, perfect for a relaxed meal. Highly recommend giving this place a try if you’re a fan of Thai food
So so
While the food that I received was good, I was overall disappointed with my experience. I was searching for hours for a good Thai spot that could make vegan Pad Se Ew, and I was thrilled to see on their website and ordering platform it says it can be make vegan/vegetarian. When I went in to order I asked for it to be made vegan and the person behind the counter said it couldn’t be made vegan due to already containing fish sauce. And I was told all I could order was the drunken noodles, which is more of a salad than anything.. I pointed out that online it says it can be made vegan hence the “V” listed on the menu. And they said that stands for vegetarian.. but fish sauce isn’t vegetarian either?????? I ended up ordering the drunken noodles, which are flavored well but it’s also just mostly vegetables and lettuce which is not what I was looking forward too. All this to say if you’re vegan or vegetarian, I wouldn’t order from here and to the restaurant please update your misleading menu information….
Went on a Tuesday night and everything was great!
Absolutely loved the food here. Vegan friendly too. Most authentic Thai food in the Dallas area.
The food was amazing and very tasty. But the lady on the counter taking order was extremely rude and that kind of rudeness surpasses the food taste here. When our food was ready, they usually are announcing names but for us she was doing signs to indicate to come and collect the food. When asked for where the napkins were and extra plates are she answered very rudely. I was looking forward to this restaurant as it had very good rating and reviews. If given an option I would rate the service 0 with stars. One of my friend was like “maybe she was having a bad day” but that doesn’t give her right to make our day bad. I would say order take out or delivery if you want to try the food here.
Really nothing special
This place is fantastic! Food is delicious (we love the pad Thai), environment inside the restaurant is bright and fun. Prices are extremely reasonable, especially for being located right in downtown Dallas!
Visiting Dallas. This place is so good. A little hard to find with the construction. They're open!
I kid you not - I get crushcraft at LEAST once a week. It’s so close to my job and so convenient and fast! Sometimes I just be craving their drunken noodles. It never gets old. I actually just had some yesterday! I think they know my order by now haha. Since I order so often. I love love love their drunken noodles. The flavor is different from Malai’s drunken noodles but it’s just as good! Thai tea is delicious as well. I’ve gotten fried rice from them as well, and that was good. But I love the drunken noodles the best!!! Staff is great, very friendly.
Adding:
I got the chicken lettuce wraps the other day I love them! Great for low carb day. I don’t think there’s anything I don’t like from here. Delicious! The staff is great!
Great place! The service and food is always on point!
Love the ambiance here, the vibrant decor and the yummy vegan options. The pad Thai without egg is so good! Love how spicy everything is and good portions too :-)
Decent food
I love Thai food and whenever I travel I like to seek Thai and Indian food restaurants out. This place was so good from the happy hour to their wines, appetizers, and main dishes to their restaurant decor! The curries has flavor and we’re not just plates with salt. Good and attentive service and lovely staff from the waiters to bartender.
Loved it! Great, casual Thai option. We tried the B*tch salad (great taste and lots of healthy veg!), the Penang Curry and the fresh rolls (loved the sauce). Good neighborhood option!
Terrific Thai food, with a great set of simple, wholesome dishes and a relaxed atmosphere. This has become one of our go-to choices when we're out in Dallas. The Penang curry is excellent as is the Spicy Chicken Salad, and the Tofu Fries are a neat and unusual side.
Solid Thai spot.
Amazing Thai food. Super flavorful, large portions. Self-serve hot sauces and chili oils. Very affordable too!
As a Thai person who been living in Texas for many years this is one of the best authentic thai restaurants I’ve ever been to, the atmosphere and music is lively. The food is fantastic it taste just like home, and the chef is very nice and friendly I recommend coming here if you want to eat one of the best Thai food!

The food is very delicious.
Delicious food! Great atmosphere! Hard to find, due to all of the construction, but well worth seeking out!
Best Thai spot in dallas
Absolutely phenomenal. Khao Phat: Thai Fried Rice was mind blowing. Ingredients are fresh and harmonize wonderfully. The Drunken Noodles were scrumptious as well and that Tom Kha Soup warmed my soul. I loved trying the different spices too. Portions are generous and priced fairly. Service was efficient and seating was abundant. Would love to explore more of the menu.
Found this place when we were just driving around town. We liked the fish sauce, soup and pork satay. Not sure why but they seem to only have chicken and tofu. No shrimp, no beef for Thai food. I find it odd. I also ordered one of the noodle soup to go but wasn’t too impressed with the quality.
Love coming here! Food is always fresh, delicious, and authentic. One of favorite places to take my friends and family.
Great casual Thai eatery. No frills but really good food. Highly recommend!!
I got the "legardary" phat Thai was not so legardary. papaya salad, fresh roll & vegetable spring rolls. The fresh roll & spring rolls were so good but the phat Thai & the papaya were awful. Phat Tai tasted mostly like Sriracha I had to add the peanut sauce which was amazing to make it tolerable. The papaya salad had no flavor only like fish sauce. This place felt like a upscale fast food place. The staff were very friendly and helpful but I would not eat here again.
Delicious, reasonably priced, quick!
Amazing interior and amazing service.
However food not so much.
I ordered a Pad See Ew and a Large Thai Tea togo thru uber eats. I was a few minutes late to pickup so the food was a bit warm to no fault of theirs.
When I went to eat it, I realized how plain it tasted and how undesirably large and dry the chicken was. The Thai Tea was a bit watered down but again to no fault of theirs. But I did find it a little bland.
Again, a nice looking place and kind service but the food was not that out standing. I did not like how 'progressive' the packging was, as I'm used to authentic places serving food out of basic containers and drinks in regular cups.
Great spot, food is very tasty and original. It is a self serve restaurant. The prices are comparable to any fast food chain, but the quality and taste of the food is superior. Highly recommend.
Drunken noodles are fantastic. I don’t like that they come on a bed of lettuce though.
Awesome balance of taste, prices and design
Went here with a friend and loved everything about it! Super generous portions that taste GREAT and the decor in here so fun
Good food and probably the best value in the area. Two entrees, a side, and two drinks... $30
Best crispy beef
4 people
Food is always on point. Have been going there for the past few years and it’s always good. Wish they bring back a location closer to Plano.
We always go there to grab lunch and Pat Ke Mao and Khao soi are our favorite. Food is always delicious.
Amazing food
Best thai in Dallas.
This is now the second time I’ve been here. Loved it the first time I came. No nonsense staff and the food is on point and tasty. Definitely on the spicier side so beware - they mean it! However this time I ordered the drunken noodles and the bottom of the bowl was filled with romaine lettuce. It looked like a garnish but as I kept eating it became clear it’s being used as a filler! It felt like a rip off to think you’re ordering (and paying for!) a bowl of drunken noodles only to find half of it to be lettuce.
Food quality has gone down substantially year over year, the khao soi is a ghost of what it once was
Best Thai place I've been to on the mainland
Friend recommended me this place but unfortunately I was very unhappy with rude staff that felt bothered with my questions and couldn’t even tell me the price of a certain dish. Food was not very authentic to taste but also small portions for the price. I’d rather support a different restaurant.
Amazing taste, not over or under prepared or cooked. Great dining decor also.
Is there Tom yam guys?)
Rice wasn't cooked enough, sauce is ok, nothing amazing it could be much better
Great food and service. Clean and quiet place.
So delicious and spicy!!
It’s unfortunate that a place that had it right no longer cares. Standardization is absent from their preparation. The green curry used to be exceptional, the pad Thai is ok, the drunken noodle was terrible.
Phat ke mao was bomb!!
Good place to catch a quick bite. Especially if you're catching a show at Theatre 3. I got the Drunken Noodles. It tasted very fresh. The ambience is nice too. The lady behind the register was very no-nonsense, in a very amusing way. But being a little friendlier wouldn't have hurt, lol. Overall I had a pleasant experience.
Hands down the best Thai restaurant in the US! Not only they purposely trying to keep the price down, but also the high quality of their food make them my No.1 choice for Thai food!
Fun atmosphere, passable food, amazing service. Worth a stop if you are looking for Thai in the area. Definitely try the Khao Soi!
Delicious food, interesting fast casual concept for Thai. My only reason for 4 stars on service is the worker indicated dishes were quite spicy but wouldn't accommodate a request for additional coconut milk to tame the spice.
Not an issue for me but just something to keep in mind if you aren't a fan of spicy.
Food is good but the portions are insulting. The cup of chili lime glass noodles is quite literally three bites. Not even exaggerating. Place really needs to reevaluate portions. I had assumed that you know, a cup woukd be like an appetizer or something, but apparently not.
At this price point, people come, in large part, to eat something. This is not a five star establishment where you can get away with serving a spoonful of food on a plate the size of a hubcap.
Malai off McKinney is the superior option.
The Skinny B*tch Salad is the best! Always get an extra side of the Peanut Dressing - it's a game changer! Pad Thai is yummy, this is a great lunch spot - we absolutely regularly frequent this place. The wait time is typically on the longer side, but it is worth it.
Had a hard time finding the new place because of construction. The menu seems a bit smaller than a couple years ago. The coconut soup was excellent as always! My pad Thai was good, but seem a bit skimpy than previous times. The fried spring rolls as well, needed a bit more veggies. Service was friendly as usual!
The portion size was more than adequate especially for lunch. Being in uptown parking can be a challenge. I had to park on the street and walk.
Small portions and rude service. More of a tourist attraction not a good option for locals.
always amazing food
I LOVED this place. I've been meaning to try for a while and I'm so glad I did! We got the Kra Pow, Drunken noodles with chicken, the beef and pork Meatballs, and the veggie spring rolls. Everything was hot and fresh. Our bowls had a nice amount of spice and we were able to add more from their condiment bar. Will definitely be back!!
