The Authentic Thai Food
You can tell the food is made with love. Always great service and nice staff. It’s one of my top favorites due to the fact the food is always fresh and made with care. Thank you for making take out Thursday for my family always a wonderful meal.
Thai on Main has some great food and quick service. We have got takeout from here a couple of times, the pad see ew with beef and the pad thai with chicken are our favorites. Portions are good and the prices are fair. Never had any problems with long waits for food, and the pickup process is simple enough. Parking is good, though it seems to be takeout only so keep that in mind when ordering. Would definitely recommend for the food and the value.
This was my first time trying here.
Lets just start with the bad first
Drunk noodles had the taste of drunken noodles but the noodles where boiled a little bit to long and they used to much oil because the noodles turn a gray color and mushy. <But the satay was good , drinks and dessert were fantastic.
Would I try again yeah of course just another dish. Possibly a stir fry dish wouldn’t want another upset with a noodle dish
Authentic and delicious Thai food. After visiting Thailand last year I looked for a Thai restaurant with authentic food. This is by far the best in Broome County. I have tried something different each time and it has always been delicious. Excellent prices and good service.
Updated review: “I’ve changed my mind this time”!! Definitely one of the best in town! We got a takeout of pad Thai and pineapple fried rice. Pad Thai was delicious and very rich in flavor! Fried rice was just perfect not spicy very yummy! They got my order correct without any mistake, the takeout portions was worth every penny paid! We’re definitely gonna order more food from here very soon!
Wouldn’t consider this as the best Thai food, as it was an average deal. Bad experience would include - pad Thai smells really weird also the place by itself smells a bit weird. And the service could be made better, as they’re very slow.
Still takeout only as of July 2022. We ordered online and it was ready at the estimated time. I asked for no utensils or straw in the instructions and they followed it, and I messed up while placing the first order and had to make another to add an item, and they also followed the instruction I left on the second order to package the two together.
I had the Eggplant Basil Tofu and a Thai Iced Tea and it hit the spot. The tea was good, just sweet enough and with an authentic flavour. The entrée was very flavourful. There was a little bit of spiciness but the main flavour was the herbal basil. The portion size was just right, with big pieces of tofu and eggplant. You can replace the default jasmine rice for most entrees with another side (for $1.80 extra); I was really craving noodles so I got the steamed noodles. They were a little sticky coming out of the takeout container but they loosened right up with some sauce. The others I ordered with also enjoyed their food and we all agreed it's a place we'd go back to.
This used to be the best place around but they got rid of inside dining and the bathroom. The staff is non-existent now. Took almost an hour just to get two dinners and spring rolls. They act like you are putting them out when you pick up the food. The food is still incredibly delicious but I miss eating inside where the sauce isn't gone because it soaks into the noodles by the time you get home.

I have been here multiple times and have yet to have a bad experience. It is by far the best place for Thai in the local area.
Picked up a takeout order asked him to use their bathroom they would not allow me to use the bathroom they told me no public restroom.
This was my first time trying here.

Great food - The "ONLY" place I'll go to for Thai food - the staff is great! LOVE LOVE THEM!!!!!!!!
Why’s it closed this used to be my favorite place to order Thai on DoorDash :(

Got dinner tonight. Horrible taste.
Red curry has no flavor and is too watery. Cost too high for the quality and quantity. Will never get food from them again
Definitely the spiciest Thai in town. Very flavorful!
This review is actually for the shop beside the Thai Restaurant, that didn't show up on my feed. Good pedicure and friendly yet professional staff!
Obsessed with this place. I've been here maybe 10 times now and everything I've tried has been delicious.
No dine in.
I haven't had anything from here I didn't like. This is hands down the best Thai food I've ever had. Out of the four states I travel to most, this is my favorite place for authentic Thai. The Thai tea is a must try! Great price and friendly staff. I highly recommend!
It may not look like much, but this is the best Thai place in the greater area for take out, and I’ve tried them all.
I come out from Binghamton to go here because our places in Binghamton just aren’t as good in terms of the service, how quickly you get the food, and the price for the quality of food.
Food was delicious and very reasonably priced. This will be my new Thai spot!
Hard to get through to order because they're so busy some times but the food is great staff is polite always order for pick up but no complaints!
Honestly, everything here is so good.
I’ve only ordered through door dash which has been quick, it arrives usually earlier than the ETA or on time. The food is fresh and packaged well. Pad Thai is delicious, I like to add chicken. Recently tried the chicken satay with the two sauces it comes with and it was soo good. Their fried spring rolls are tasty too. Their sauces are the star of the show. Extremely flavorful and unique. Love to dip the food in. Everything I’ve tried so far I’ve liked!
The food is so good here. The flavor and spice level is always perfect. When they used to allow people to eat inside. The portions were quite large that you always took some home. Now it's take out only. The portions are much smaller. After eating an entree I'm still hungry. Just not worth it anymore for the price.
My go-to for delivery in the area. Drunken noodles and summer rolls (I specifically request the roast pork rather than the shrimp) are great and prices are reasonable.

Great food! Pad Thai was phenomenal! Sticky rice amazing! Probably the best peanut sauce I've had, esp in this area. It will definitely be a regular go to place for me!
Hidden gem
Very good thai food that is close to what one would eat in Thailand. The service was friendly and efficient.
Amazing basil fried rice
I ONLY GET MOBILE ORDERS(doordash) … but i get pad thai 3 times a week. i do that because: it’s delicious, rich in nutrients, fair priced(im a student on limited income), consistent and professional. love is an understatement when it comes to me and the 3600 staff. i hope they read this because they'll know exactly who i am from all my orders - seriously it’s an addiction. if you want thai food - GET IT FROM HERE!!!!!!!
The food was very good but the service was extremely slow
This place has great food and is by far our favorite Thai restaurant. The servers are also the best that I've ever experienced. Highly recommend! Excellent!!
No dine in, do to Covid
Pickup order wasn’t ready after 45min. Front desk lady told she didn’t receive the call from the eat street agent and was told to wait 30min. Are you kidding me? No apology whatsoever. After requesting if they could prioritize my order she said there are other orders that are ahead me? Wth? Instead of apology, she told me I can cancel the order if I want after driving that far. Didn’t like the attitude at all and very rude. I decided to wait and To be fair, they did finish the order in 20min.
We ordered the drunken noodles which were great, spicy but not overpowering. Really a nice dish and the Thai iced tea was delicious. Will return!
Terrible service. Front desk girl is extremely rude . She swears at customers if you ask how long the food will take. Then calls cops and plays the femenism card
I don’t know what’s the issue with the front desk girl she is always rude to the customers and delivery drivers also their timing is terrible doesn’t matter what you order they never give it to you on time.w
I'm going to have to say probably the best food I have ever had was at this place and excellent service I recommend a thousand times over get dinner or lunch here especially if it's your first time trying Thai food that tea is excellent
dine in isn’t open, they should update it
Ohhhh the food is excellent! The family friendly! And i will be back and yes i recommend!
Wanted dine in website said available drove an hour on a roadtrip to find out only takeout we didn't have a hotel nearby for that night so we couldn't do takeout went inside to let them know they need to update their website because that was annoying driving so far for them to not have been updated

Among the best Thai food I’ve found. Every dish is excellent!
mediocre at best. there is definitely way better thai food out there. the pad thai was pretty good but do not order the appetizers/ spring rolls. one of the worst spring rolls i’ve had and the sauce is atrocious. but on the bright side it’s cheap and filling and it was ready pretty fast.
Good food and reasonable prices
Pandemic review:
The place does only take away or pick up due to the pandemic. It's a little hard to find because of the four feet of snow around, but the place is still the best for Thai for miles.
We ordered three dishes (two curries and a pad Thai) and it was very tasty. None of the dishes were too spicy, they were bright and flavourful. The portions are not too big, and are well-priced. The girl who took our order was very sweet and helpful.
We also ordered from them when hosting some vegan friends. The restaurant was able to accommodate all their preferences, and give us some delicious food. I'd definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who likes Thai food. Best one around!!
Tip: if you are getting carry-out, order ahead over phone or online :)
Fantastic Food, Great Prices, Fast Delivery From Grubhub.
Seriously, I do not know where they trained their cooks for this establishment! This was the saltiest and worst Thai food I have ever put in my mouth! If you are going to cook Thai food you cannot cut corners or substitute, it will show immediately in the taste and BALANCE of sweet and sour. This place seems to be a place that really doesn't know what they are doing OR probably just doesn't care. I am criticizing the cook not the wait staff, she was very nice. Do Not waste your money at this place. Mind you, I never write reviews for restaurants. This one was just SOOO BAD I had to. Reading through the other reviews it seems that maybe they have one really bad cook out of the others who work there. Because its a family run restaurant they may not be able to fire that cook. Just a guess.
Always fresh, filling, tasty, never greasy or soggy. This is a go to on takeout night at my house. Can’t recommend it enough!
Great pad Thai
Good food
Authentic Thai food! Stir fried minced pork with basil and crab fried rice are recommended. The staff are friendly and polite.
Great food and service!
Super friendly, great food and fast. Thanks for a great time.
My favorite Thai place in the area! I definitely recommend the pad see ew.
Drunken noodles... so good.
Love Thai on main, I always get some when I’m in town because I crave it when I’m away. So good!
Food is pretty good, but service can be slow at times. I'd recommend the Drunken Noodles.
Great food
Awesome curry sauce over Jasmine rice. I will definitely be back soon.
Authentic and delicious Thai food. After visiting Thailand last year I looked for a Thai restaurant with authentic food. This is by far the best in Broome County. I have tried something different each time and it has always been delicious. Excellent prices and good service.
Exceptional lunch. Wife and I had egg rolls and stir Fry's. Unusually spice hot for USA. GOOD.
Super foods.....alloy mahk....
Pad thai is great. The other dishes in my opinion arent quite as good but I've only tried a few. Lunch special is a great deal and overall the food is good for the prices.
We decided to try it because we both love Thai food. We tried the appetizer combo (a chance to try a little of each) and the Pad Thai with shrimp. The appetizers were all very bad. We could have forgiven that if the Pad Thai was good. It was horrible. We tried a little of everything but we threw out almost all of it. A total waste of money. We made something else to eat.
The only positive thing I can say are that the appetizer dipping sauces were very good and the shrimp in the Pad Thai (5 of them) were not small and cooked perfectly.
Good tofu pad Thai.
Super tasty. Ordered takeout and was easy to customize our orders. Food was ready when promised. Generous portions and very good prices. Will definitely return and hope to order Tom Yum soup and spring rolls. Having lived in Ithaca for a few years and with ready access to other authentic Thai places, this is definitely a welcomed surprise.
Great food. Small place with friendly quick service. Lots of great things on the menu.
Good Thai food and very reasonably priced. Kind of small inside but very clean. The people working were nice, inviting and accommodating.
Such a small place in what looks like a kinda sketchy building. But the food is excellent and the prices are very good!
just dont....
Drunken noodles are soo good
Just happened to notice this place and stopped in, walked in and the waitress was sitting at a booth eating and brought menus to our table but didn’t ask for a drink order. She sat back down to continue eating until a Gentleman walked in after us and he was waited on and his order taken all while we are still waiting to be waited on. Walked out, won’t be returning.
Clean, laid back atmosphere. Food is fantastic! Be careful asking for extra spice. I'm pretty sure a level 5 spicy would melt your teeth
Great food! Service can be better
It was very relaxing
Very good eats
Pleasantly surprised at the quality and taste and good prices
Food Is Awesome 👍😊
Food is great, prices are very reasonable, and finally,if you ask for Thai hot, you get it.
I got the coconut milk based soup (forgot what it was called) and the Thai fried rice (only veggies)... everything was AWESOME!! Not to mention the girls working there were extremely accommodating!!!! (As I requested only plastic “to go” containers because I HATE using styrofoam!!!). It was my first time here, cute interior!!! Overall, great experience!!!!
Lovely food and price
I dont understand how this place has a high rating. Ordered sesame chicken and some dumplings. The dumplings were above average but the sesame chicken was definitely subpar.
We've ordered here dozens of times in the last few months (we know.. excessive, but..). It's simply awesome. Pickup or delivery - quick either way. Definitely great Thai food.
Taste not bad but i have not try other food yet. Overall, food is good
If you come here often, you will say guys serve food and they are nice.
The lady needs to do better job when serving.
I order delivery from here sometimes and they're food is always delicious!
If I could give them negative stars I would. My first time going there and I ordered the Drunken noodles and chicken teriyaki. The noodles were so overcooked they were mush. The chicken teriyaki was a shoe leather tough, burnt tasting piece of meat with some watered down sauce on it over long grain rice that was supposed to be jasmine rice. Even the broccoli had a weird meaty texture to it. The entire experience was just awful. PLEASE do yourself a favor, DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!
Paid $10 for a plate of soggy noodles with 3 pieces of chicken in it. Ordered teriyaki chicken dinner was 1 small HARD chicken breast with 4 sliced carrots and 4 broccoli and maybe a half cup rice... AWFUL and feel ripped off. Totally not worth $10 and food was awful... very disappointed....
Always delicious food and great service!!!
Green curry rice is the best
Very nice atmosphere very nice people even brought my food to the car
I will forever get my Thai Food from here!!! Always amazing and service is wonderful! Super reliable when it comes to delivery and quality. Never had a disappointing meal!
Consistantly excellent food. Our go-to place for Thai food.
The steamed dumplings were excellent and the pad Thai was pretty good, the delivery was super quick too.
Cozy place with good authentic food. Larb gai was huge! Green curry was a little on the diluted side but everything was great.
Nice place, good food. It's located in a bit of an odd spot- not hard to get too just on a stretch of drive-by road where you don't expect good food. That may be why it doesn't get as much traffic as you would expect from the quality of food and service.
We always go for lunch, only once for dinner (I ordered the duck, which was delicious!) Kids' favorite are house soup and rice and drunken noodles, no spice (spicy is pretty spicy, watch out!). Orange chicken always crispy and light with flavorful sauce. Bangkok fried rice is tasty with fresh basil and a good amount of veggies. Curries are all tasty. Deep fried tofu (golden triangle) & gyoza fried nice and crisp. Mango sticky rice is tasty. And their rice is freshly made (too often Asian restaurants in the area serve dried out rice, not a good sign!) Been going for almost 4 years, food and service always good and they are all so kind to my children. :)
I'm a big fan of oriental food and while Thai on the Main may not have exactly the most authentic Thai menu they certainly have tasty food for the price. I enjoy coming here and service is excellent with friendly and responsive staff. A good restaurant to try if your looking for something off the beaten path.
Great Thai food. Lil pricier than some but worth it. Good portion sizes n great taste
This is not the restaurant I thought I was reviewing. I was under the impression I was reviewing Thai Time on front Street in binghamton
Great food and a really relaxing atmosphere. I’m vegan and I was able to get the Pad See Eew without egg or fish sauce. I would recommend it
Love it here! The staff is friendly and the food is fresh and delicious! Great portions too!
Great food. Nice people.
Good thai food in a building with no curb appeal, very few decorations, and not much atmosphere at all. Come here for a quick bite, but dont bring a date here if you want a second one.
Somewhat chilly inside
Very nice atmosphere and not crowded at lunch
Great food
Great food, fast service. Don't go there for the ambiance!
Great food
Great food and great prices!!
Great service, very quaint and calming atmosphere. First time at restraunt, eating Thai food. Not bad tasting.
Best casual Thai around
Totally satisfactory service and food. Great prices.
GOOD Food , They deliver , And prices are reasonable!
Good
Best Thai place in Binghamton!
This is a family go to! We love the drunken noodles, spring rolls, and orange chicken!
Excellent food for a great price. A nice treat when we were just looking for something quick to eat. The service was very good.
Our 'go to' place. The Drunken Noodles are the best around. If you ask for spicy that is what you get. Clean, reasonable and a nice selection.
Food we had was good. Found a hair in it but quickly apologetic. Service fair.
Nice. Lovely. Delicious.
It was ok but not as good as Thai time. We won't return.
Always wonderful.
I've been here once and it was for lunch, I ordered the chicken basil dish. This is my favorite dish growing up and I always use it as a litmus test when I go eat Thai food to see how well they can make it. It wasn't too bad and I was hungry.
In terms of authenticity, not even close but there is no point in rating any Thai restaurants in this town for authenticity. If it was authenticate, no Americans can eat it or would want to eat it. Get real people, they're making a product catered to your taste bud not mine.
Excellent food and service. Will be back.
Worst experience ever. I had to wait an hour and called them where my food was at. They said it was on the way. 30 mins later, nothing. So I call them and they have it delivered to the wrong place and tells me to get it from that. ?????????? Hello? They probably ate the free food already. I wait for 1hour and 30 min to get nothing while my neighbor gets free food. That's amazing. Really good. Never ordering from this place ever again.
Price was great but the pad thai wasn't really that good. It had an awful smell to it but tasted okay
Great Thai food! Lunch prices are fantastic. Really easy to order online and pick up!
You can tell they use quality ingredients. I get the orange chicken every time and its great.
Was there already a few times. Good to spot during normal traffic, good prices, nice staff.
Nice and quiet restaurant. Very nice family who runs it. Excellent food!
Authentic Thai food!! Also, best thai iced tea outside of NYC :)
