The food portions are nice and the place is very clean. The servers are very professional and gave very good service. The dishes are very reasonably priced. Will definitely recommend this place for Indo Chinese food.
Flew in from Chicago for a wedding in Dallas this weekend and was recommended to try this Hakka Chinese fusion cuisine at Spice Wok by a family friend! Let me tell you IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT!!! In fact it was DELCIOUS and hit all the flavour profiles the right way! The service was super fast, the food was hot and delicious with the perfect amount of spice!!! 10/10 recommend!!! Wish there was something like this in Chicago! The only thing I would like is for the white rice to be a bit more soft and sticky! But none the less it was amazing!!
The dishes we ordered were:
1. Chilli crispy chicken Momo (the BEST EVER!!!)
2. Mongolian beef story fry
3. Pad se ew chicken noodles
4. Sesame chicken
All items were fire!! 10/10!!!
Authentic Chinese food! It was a little on the sweeter side for us, but overall decent food! We were told medium is spicy, but next time will probably ask for a higher spice level. Few things to consider - the restaurant has a max occupancy of 48 people. You may encounter a wait, especially during the weekend. We encounter long wait time. Plan ahead. I wish we ordered the noodles… I noticed everyone ordered it. The hot and sour soup was on point. Very kind staff. Great try for halal restaurant!
During my recent visit to Dallas had the opportunity to dine at Spice Wok in Richardson. It is a cozy little Restaurant with decent seating and a very courteous service crew, they make you “feel home” . By the way feel home doesn’t mean “you eat whats on the table or sleep on an empty stomach😜” the service crew guides you through the menu and attentively listens to your choice of items.
We ordered Shrimp Pepper Salt, Hakka Noodles, Thai Red Curry, Mumbai Chili Fried Rice & washed that down with Mango Lassi. Best part they customise each order to your requested spice level.
The Shrimp were perfectly done, right amount of spice and crunchiness. Hakka noodles were soft and flavourful. The Thai Red Curry was amazing and complimented the steamed rice, the phrase “it takes two tango” is apt to describe this combo. The Mumbai Chili Fried Rice the nature of the city it is named after! Vibrant & titallating your taste buds and the super star of the show Mango Lassi was “yeh dil maange more”!!!
Overall it was a great experience would have loved an encore, unfortunately was scheduled to leave Dallas just the day after. In Sha Allah the next visit it should be on my “to do list”
If you love Indo Chinese look no where else. It’s a little drive for me but the food is all worth it. I ordered my favorite spicy soup (can’t remember the name) and Mongolian Beef and Sesame chicken along with chicken fried rice. Prices are reasonable and portion sizes are big.
Authentic Chinese food very delicious & yummy 😋. I recommend Chicken Chilli Momo if u can handle the spice, Mongolian Beef, Coriander Garlic Chicken. The team work is excellent & servers were acknowledging each & every customer during busy lunch hours is really amazing.
Suggestion to the owner:- Appreciated for charging the right price for the rice bowl. If possible also give option for Basmati/Sella/Sona Masoori rice either one but don’t bump the price will be appreciated and will see more customers due to rice preferences 🙏
If you are from india and love indo chineese DONT miss this place.. After 9 years being in the US this is the first restaurant that has come close to Mumbai style chineese love it and just loved it.. Must try below items.
1. Fish Chilly - DONT MISS IT.
2. Chicken Chilly momos - was good but could have been better.
3. Chicken Dry Manchurian - Upto the mark.
4. hakkah noodles chicken - really nice ..
Love their food! Awesome
This restaurant is my family's favorite go to place very far food, good ambiance, and good environment. Although they need to have a bigger place and on weekends you will have to wait 30 min. Can get very crowded.
Wow this place is horrible. Worst orange chicken I’ve probably ever had. Came out soggy, no flavor and lacked salt.

I go here often. This time, when I asked how long the order would take, I was told 15-20 minutes. It ended up taking 40 minutes. With children waiting in the car, I need realistic expectations of time- not lies. Fire the server.
Food was very good all items were delicious
The best affordable halal chinese place ever been to. The food is awesome and a must try for every foodie who visit DFW area. You can adjust the spice level and for Indians who does not like sweet Chinese food, this place is a blessing.
Best Chinese in dfw area.
Good
Amazing Halal Chinese gem!!! Food does have a spice kick to it but it’s sooooo good!
I had the Mongolian beef and hot and spicy soup literally 10/10. It’s halal so I’m happy I found this place to satisfy Asian taste
Amazing food guys. The Mongolian beef was a work of art mashaAllah
Their orange chicken was not good. It was not flavorful at all. I would probably not order it from here again.
Get the black bean sauce!!
Best food in the area 😋.
The food is decent, but the service is exceptionally slow. This is the second time we’ve waited over 45 minutes for our order, and the long gap between appetizers and the main course made the experience frustrating. Given the high prices, the portions and overall quality feel inconsistent.
Very tasty food and very nice service as will
So we waited like 45 minutes and the place was so smalllll. The food tasted very good but the service was very slow/bad. GIMME SOME FOOD😭😭😭😭
Haven’t even made it home with my take out it was just a side since I have my entree at home…. But since the side was so cheap I had to pay in cash I only had quarters and not even the complete total they welcomed me out with my side. Def coming back soon! That def makes it home made.
Horrible experience. They told me to eat Coriander Garlic Chicken because it's the most selling one.
I swear Coriander Garlic Chicken was worst and Worst Hakka Noodles as well. I was about to vomit when I eat Coriander Garlic chicken.
I recommend everyone to go to Chef Chen Frisco Texas because they got the best chinese in town .
We travel lot and love to eat spicy food.we preety much went all the restaurants in Dallas.we ordered corn soup there i felt like chef put sweet instead of salt. The noodles we ordered chef dumped all the salt he forgot to put on noodles. The momo was so dry i dont think that was fresh.Anyway we went there coz it was halal. But In our whole life i never ate that much terrible food.we left everything just waste of money and horrible experience.I dont think the management is wise. they saw we throw all their food they didnt even trying to fix .Waste of money.
Amazing food and amazing service. Definitely recommend for Zabiha certified asian cuisine. The head chef is a very humble guy❤️
Bad quality food and staff was so rude
Always like food and attention.
I had an incredibly disappointing experience at this restaurant. The food was bland, poorly prepared, and far from fresh. The service was just as bad—slow, inattentive, and unprofessional. I ordered the hot and sour soup, and it made me feel ill afterward. Overall, I regret spending my time and money here. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone looking for a decent meal or good service.
I would have given 5 stars for food, but when we ordered mild spicy, it was so so so spicy. Our kids didn't, we struggled eating and our stomachs were hurting the next day. The flavor minus the spice was good. Hopefully next time it will be the way we ordered.

Good food
Decent, authentic Indian Chinese Hakka place.
We loved the food the staff were super nice 🥰 and the environment was nice and quiet please come here if ur hungry and u will enjoy 😀
One of the consistently best halal restaurants in Dallas. It always hits the spot. Love the Szechuan Beef and Garlic Noodles.
One of my very favorite restaurants in the Dallas area! I pick up lunch or dinner here at least once a week. The dishes are so much better than any other Asian cuisine restaurant. And everyone who works here is so kind and generous, absolutely my favorite people... Jeet, the owner and chef, is the best... Razi , Simrin & Rasmi are treasures... I can literally hear Rasmi smiling when I place my order over the phone, and she always gets my order exactly perfect.
In short, the food is fantastic, and the people are gold. I highly recommend both!

I absolutely love this place! Food is amazing
Probably the best Asian/Asian fusion restaurant I’ve been to in Dallas. Their food tasted as good as they seemed. Portions are big for the prices as well. We went as a family and were able to order various items and all of the dishes were amazing. Their staff are very lovely and helpful as well. Anything we asked for were brought out to the table in a few minutes. Definitely recommend the Mongolian beef, it was basically the most perfect dish I’ve had in a while from any restaurants. The place was neat and clean and well organized. We were seated as soon as we walked in and did everything on a timely manner. I highly recommend everyone to try this place at least once and give them a chance. They earned it. I will definitely go back again and I’m also informing my friends as well. Rest assured I’ll be making another visit sooner than later. 10/10
Coriander Garlic Shrimp and Coriander Garlics Chicken are amazing!! Hot sour soup is so, so delicious!!! Great place to dine.
The red thai curry is SO GOOD. 10/10
ABSOLUTLY underrated HIDDEN JAM, the chicken spicy dumplings is the HIT. THEYR ARE ORGINALLY DOING RECIPES from a grandfather. DONT WALK RUN
Need to be a 5star restaurant, every dish is full of flavor this is one of the few restaurants that’s is consistent
tasty food overall well job done
Amazing vegetarian food, veg Manchurian balls are amazing, I drive down from downtown everytime I crave veg Manchurian and Indo Chinese particularly
Delicious food! Great people! And 5 star service! 10/10 would recommend to anyone! Best Chinese place I’ve ever been to! Don’t listen to the negative reviews; my whole family we astonished by how good this place is!
Great meal! Customer service was very nice!
Spice Wok is one of my favorite restaurants in the DFW. We got them catered for our wedding, and I’m so glad we chose them! They were prompt with delivery, all the food was delicious & they packed the trays with so much food. We had so many people come up to us & rave about the food. Their team is so kind & helpful. I highly recommend them for dining in & catering!
Worst experience ever...smell from glasses,Cold noodles, no spice at all in any of the food ,keeping name as spice is not enough.
The food was too oily and tasteless. To start, we requested a different seat but were told those seats were reserved for a group of 30, yet later a couple was seated there. Additionally, we were given plastic glasses while others received different ones. The food was excessively oily and lacked flavor. When we asked to adjust the spice level, the chef or someone related came out and looked at us angrily. The kids' meal was so oily that the oil was running off the plate. I will never go again. I would like to give zero star.
So disappointed with the food
It was not a hot even a little bit and not at all spicy
Horrible experience and taste
Cant recommend to any spice lover
I ordered chicken hakka noodles, momos, fried rice, chicken 65 and kids meal that was fries and noodles! The noodles was so much oily that can be harmful for kids!!!
We complained about the noodles the staff said they serve like that only!
It was my first and last time visiting this restaurant
So much oil in the food!!!
Overpriced and horrible food
Small hole in the wall type place. The service was great, but the food was highly disappointing. We ordered a few dishes and asked for spicy but all of the food was sweet. I would not go back.
The momos were delicious. Place was clean and service great!
If you love Indo Chinese look no where else. It’s a little drive for me but the food is all worth it. I ordered my favorite spicy soup (can’t remember the name) and Mongolian Beef and Sesame chicken along with chicken fried rice. Prices are reasonable and portion sizes are big.
I hate leaving bad reviews but since one of the extremely rude emloyee picked my call while i was about to make reservation for eight peoples during the weekend. The lady directly denied my reservation and hunged up call with full of attitude. Ladies working here really needs to learn some manner and the proper way to communicate with customers!!
Do not go here unless you're willing to take the same risk. There are far better halal spots in the city, I recommend looking elsewhere.
They have great taste but it’s costly compared to other halal restaurants around this area.
Good food
Very good ambience. Service was excellent and food was perfect. Sea food was fresh and the spice level was just as we ordered. Amazing experience overall!!
One of the best Asian fusion Chinese in DFW
Scrumptious food. Mongolian beef is heavenly
THE BEST HALAL CHINESE restaurant in Dallas, perhaps the entire Texas! Rasmi, and the entire crew is amazing! Must visit.
We were absolutely not sure what we were getting into, though I am very familiar with Indo-Chinese cuisine. And to tell the truth, very few people can replicate that right amount of spices and spiciness to ensure it is eatable and tasty. Finally found a place that does amazing!!!
We got 1. Manchow soup (really tasty!! Absolutely recommended), 2. Lemon Coriander soup (was expecting a fairly mild one, but this is the spiciest one of them all! Beware and know what you are getting into, though I found it very tasty my wife could not eat it haha), 3. Hakka Noodles (Recommended), and 4. Schezwan Fried Rice (very highly recommended)
Overall the food was fantastic, we came in on a sunday afternoon and there was no one but we got fabulous service and we had enough left over for two more meals !! Coming back for more for sure!
Oh btw they had a ramadan menu and their phones were ringing off the hook and they were turning people away because of reservations and space. That tells you how good the place is!
Small hidden jem. Food is really good and customer service is amazing. Definitely recommend this place.
I went here for Iftar, the food came out really early! service was fantastic, friendly staff and food was delicious. Highly recommend it!!
Amazing Halal Chinese food. Ordered garlic shrimp lamb ginger beef Mongolian, chicken sweet and sour and Hakka noodle. Starters were hot and spicy soup and spring rolls. Other then chicken I enjoyed all of the rest especially the Mongolian beef and spring rolls
I've been a fan of the manchow soup for a long while. But recently it had not been living up to expectations and previous flavor. Today, I got the manchow soup and it was GREAT! Hope this change is here to stay!
one of the best chinese in dfw
One of the best desk Chinese restaurants in Dallas. Service was great, food was excellent. They were not joking about their spice level. If you can’t handle your spice do let them know. If you haven’t tried them yet, I would highly recommend giving them a try. They are very affordable.
So I’ve had the pleasure of eating indo Chinese food at one of the best restaurants around India and US.
Now this place is at best mediocre in my opinion. The food is mostly bland and misses the Chinese food kick, a foodie will understand what I mean.
Only thing that we liked was drums of heaven. Don’t think I’ll go again, provided there are so many good restaurants nearby.
The flavor profile described in the menu online is why I choose to eat here. Sadly my dish lacked flavor I anticipated. The taste overall was okay I’ve had better.
This review is not about the food but about the experience as a customer how I was treated. Had a horrible experience today. Went with family to dine in. We were 4. We were shown a table and there were bunch of people sitting next. We needed some privacy and said we want to sit in another table that was in the corner. Yes that table was for 6 but it was empty. The lady who was there said NO we can't sit there just because that table was for 6 and we were only 4. Just ridiculous way of treating your customers
Authentic, freshly prepared, delicious Indo-Chinese.
Very tasty food and great service! Love this place and highly recommend!
The food was delicious and flavorful, like that the food was not warm it was heat hot, small and clean.
Best Indo Chinese in town! Highly recommend trying their chilli momos. We drive from Allen just for those! I just wish the space was bigger as it can get pretty crowded on weekends.
Poor service.
Great halal asian food!! I had the beef momo dumplings and have tried hakka noodles (very spicy so be careful), hot and sour soup, mongolian beef, and the orange chicken (don't get the orange chicken, it's not as good)
Nice food but small sitting. the food as great and the Mango Lassi was amazing though it price varies from takeaway to dine in
Food is tasty and the only reason we come
Be cautious about what they charge on the handheld billing device so please check before paying and ask for a printed receipt... I caught them overcharging us for an incorrect item and the server did not even seem surprised. It seemed like they are used to this malpractice.
Why do you want to cheat to make a few extra bucks?
The food was tasty and with perfect spicy noodles and wok bowls
Very tasty flavorful
Tasty food, good service, and atmosphere. Price is just right even cheaper than others.
The food is amazing. The chicken 65, Hakka noodles and kung chicken are incredible
I am very happy that they have certified with HMS for hand slaughtered zabiha halal meat. The taste reminds me of South Indian Chinese fast food centers.
I would say out of full menu, Hakka noodles and Chilli garlic noodles were the best. Next comes the Appetizers such as Chicken 65, Chicken Manchuria, chilli chicken, chilli fish dry and chilli chicken momo(the best way to try momo here) which were really tasty.
And these items were all medium spicy.
The owner is really a wonderful guy. He is very polite and humble.
Update: 12/11/2023
Hakkah Noodles were delicious. Right on spot in terms of flavor, aroma and spices. Chicken 65 was drenched in color. Vegetables were disguised as chicken… didn’t get that! Hot and sour soup was yum.
The best I have tasted in Dfw. Mangolian beef was sweet for my taste. Nonetheless Noodle combo and the Manchaow soup were delicious. Highly recommended.
Great foood, lots of flavor. Portions are good for 1-2 people but flavor did not disappoint
I love you SpiceWok 💘
If you are from india and love indo chineese DONT miss this place.. After 9 years being in the US this is the first restaurant that has come close to Mumbai style chineese love it and just loved it.. Must try below items.
1. Fish Chilly - DONT MISS IT.
2. Chicken Chilly momos - was good but could have been better.
3. Chicken Dry Manchurian - Upto the mark.
4. hakkah noodles chicken - really nice ..
We visited here on a friend’s recommendation and were very delighted with the food. We ordered hot n sour soup, chili garlic noodles and garlic beef. Food was fresh and tasted amazing! Since the place is small they were hesitant to let us sit on the 4 people table but the 2 person table is very small. Few people have complained about the air conditioning and we agree it was pretty hot inside specially when you are eating hot n spicy food. The space gets full very quick so a nice cool temp should be maintained for comfort. Overall we will be back for the food but hope management can address these issues
Good food .. Great atmosphere.
Wait is 45 min. But for the quality of food and service it was worth it
I love their Paneer Chilli so does my friends. I had not had such Paneer Chilli since years now after I left nepal in 2016.
Mostly the paneer chilli at indian restaurants have a thick flour coating which keeps hanging around paneer and gravy even if you order dry.
I love the food and people.
Whenever I have come here with my family or catered from here they have been absolutely fantastic. Extremely professional and kind. Always very accommodating. The best Asian food I have ever tasted. Great quality. The coriander garlic chicken is the best dish on the menu. Absolutely love it! My family loves the mongolian beef too. So glad I discovered this place.
They never compromise with their quality...and never disappoint. Kudos
This place has good reviews…the food was just bland…did it have spice? Yes! Was there seasoning? Yes…but still tasted bland this is a fusion restaurant if you are looking for Chinese style even with the Chinese options available…this is not it… pretty pricy, but the people were nice.
Average to better food but it's hard to nail fusion dishes sometimes. Friendly staff and relatively quick service for how busy they get. Dishes are filling. Very nice mango lassi's though, highly recommend those
This restaurant used to be my best Chinese food place, but they terribly disappointed me today. I picked up sesame chicken with fried rice, orange chicken with fried rice and 2 orders of veg spring rolls at lunch time around 12:45 pm. I called the restaurant and tried to speak with the owner to report the problem, but the call attendant wouldn’t let me speak with the owner so that I can report how dissatisfied we were. The call attendant just heard my complaint and said sorry. I think the call attendant was trying to cover up the workers in the kitchen and wouldn’t let me speak with the owner. I left my call back number but haven’t heard back
Please AVOID if you are thinking of a takeout from here!
The food is average (a hit or miss depending on your luck) but the service is terrible.
The restaurant charges you extra fees for online ordering and pickup but they do not honor the pickup time that they have provided in the order. In my case, by the time I got my food at the restaurant, it was 1 hr and 25 min after the restaurant accepted the order in the ordering portal. That after I had to basically have them an ultimatum to either get the food ready ASAP or cancel it.
I understand restaurants being busy on the weekends and stuff but then don't charge your customers more for online orders if you cannot assure quality and timely service. And weekends being busy cannot be used as an excuse by such restaurants which have been around for quite a long time. I am sure that if the restaurant does reply to this review, they are going to make that excuse, or something around those lines. Or they might only reply for the good reviews.
They should have learned their lesson but I guess they haven't and still wouldn't.
Please avoid!!! 0/5.
It was truly amazing.
I recommend the Man Chow soup and Chicken Manchurian. Great place to eat!
Don't recommend the Basil Ginger Chicken or the noodles.
Great Food! Hidden Gem Honestly, everything was cooked to perfection! 5 stars from Houston🔥
Excellent service 5 stars
Food is ok. Smallplace. Ac was not working.
“Basil ginger chicken”… Wow. All the spices you want and need. This was exceptional. Some things on the menu were just alright. But this and the heavenly chicken wing appetizer were amazing. I would drive 30 minutes from my house just for this. Arun was very hospitable as well!
Great food
When we went there the a/c was not working and it was so hot. Plus the food was not a little oily than expected for a restaurant. The Noodles had an after taste.
Good food and outstanding customer service
Lot of parking spots. The hakla noodles and garlic noodles were the best. Chicken starters were too good. Arun is a great owner who speaks and explains about HMS zabiha halal certification very well. It is 💯 percent zabiha hand slaughtered halal because it is certified by halal monitoring services.
Delicious food
Very poor service. Will not go there again
Delicious chicken momos
Food tasted good, but did not sit well the next day for everyone in my party that went to this place. Restaurant also did not have working air conditioning and it was not fun sweating while eating.
All foods were delicious 😋
The food is on point! Really good indo Chinese in Dallas area!
They are HMS certified right now, zabiha halal hand slaughtered certification, which is the reason I ordered from here, and they did full justice to the food!
Hope they retain the certification and keep all the items zabiha halal!
I did an order delivery, and the food was still hot!
Ordered chilli chicken momo which was the best of all, chicken Manchuria, chicken hot & sour soup was also very good! Chicken Hakka noodles were fine, maybe will try chilli garlic noodles next time!
My spice level was medium that I'd ordered, which was quite good and spicy
Do try them and support good zabiha halal businesses! 👍🏼
Worst restaurant in the history of Dallas. Straight up got diarrhea.
If you are looking to enjoy best indo-chinese food, this is the place you must go. The food is delicious and the staff is friendly.
Horrible Horrible Customer Service. Drove here for 1 hour to get to this place on a long weekend. The lady at the front desk asked us to wait for 10 mts as there were a lot of people inside and told us there were 2 tables reserved for people but did not say that they wanted us out. After 20 to 25 minutes of waiting, she did a 360 degree and asked us to leave the place as they could not accommodate more people. Totally totally horrible rude and impolite customer service , especially the front desk ladies ..extremely lazy and rude ladies who DID NOT WANT TO SERVE THEIR CUSTOMERS !!! Wasted my precious time visiting this restaurant - will never ever go to this place again !!
I dont know why people give this resturant 5 star they dont desrve even 1 star very bad rotten soup same as food no taste after eat all of my family stomch upset .waste of money.
Food was good. Didn’t like the veg noodles though it was totally bland. But spring noodles and fried rice was damn tasty.
This restaurant is 100% halal it’s a family run restaurant owner is chef him self don’t listen to mr Mohammed ismil he doesn’t know what he is talking about owner makes his living off this restaurant stop spreading rumors with no proof
This is NOT Halal restaurant, if you know the meaning of halal you will not call it halal. There is NO certification from a credited entity like HMS. They have Buda status at the front of your face it’s not even a Muslim place. Nowadays anybody can say halal but how can you proof it, it’s my responsibility not to enter any non halal food to my body or my Deeds are not accepted for 40 day
They’re so so accommodating and nice. I live super far from the location but we went as a whole group of like 16 people without calling ahead and they got all of our orders done within a quick time and everyone took home leftovers because their portions are so well sized and so affordable.
Food is okay, I picked up on Friday evening, no crowd
Very disappointed. The quality of food was way below other halal Chinese/Thai places. Were able to go during Ramadan and it was the worst idea. Chicken, beef and fish they all taste same with same masala, the only thing you can taste is just hot spice. My suggestion is NEVER go to a restaurant first time with a party of 10. Always visit first yourself or with your wife to taste the food before you get embarrassed over the food with 10 people.
GREAT FOOD WITH GREAT SERVICE
AND ESPECIALLY THE STAFF NOOR GAVE GREAT SERVICE
