I think the place was having a really bad day with no heat on and 1 person working as a waitress and handling all take out orders. She did try to be nice about, but still the place that had this amazing decor looked like crap with uncleaned tables just because of 1 person being overwhelmed. Did mention that this was on a Friday night where every other restaurant on the block was fully booked with no tables. The food on the other hand was pretty amazing. Food would be the only thing that would ever make me go back to the place
Having lived in the area a few years, I always drive past it and finally stepped in today. Friendly workers and you get a family run vibe immediately. I tried a few dishes with the “must try” stamp on the menu. Overall above what I expected, and has me curious to try a few more dishes next time.
One thing I have to say is the decor is shockingly cute.
I have tried many Thai restaurants and had the privilege to travel to Asia and try the food. I understand Asian food. This place is genuinely horrible. I ordered two things Pad Thai and Tom Yum noodle soup. The Pad Thai was crazy bitter and overwhelmingly smoky (Also didn't give us lemon or hot sunset but that's a pet peeve). The Tom Yum had undisolved powders of what they use to make the soup quickly. The noodles were not only not traditional, they were also bad. They were undercooked. The soup itself was slightly spicy with no flavor aside from a strange sour. And the top it all of, the waiter (Asian male with blonde hair) was incredible rude. He left our table mid ordering and told us to "look at the menu". Excuse me? I'm sorry my parents aren't quick enough to understand your confusing menu. He then ignored us and stayed in the kitchen. I have always been respectful and understanding towards wait staff as I understand that the environment can be stressful. But I genuinely have never felt the urge to leave a dollar tip more than before. Come when they address their issues. For now, stick to the American and European restaurants in the area.
Ordered lunch takeout, hard to find parking. Ordered Massaman curry, was supposed to have potatoes and string beans instead I assume they used whatever veg they had laying around and put big chunks of broccoli and zucchini. As for curry itself, it wasn’t properly cooked down, tasted like coconut milk was just mixed with spices and had consistency of sour cream (I.e., not at all appetizing). Def not adding to list of Thai places I will frequent in area.
Always looking for good Thai food so tried this place out in Rye. It was on Monday so very quiet. The decor is different from most Thai restaurants and that chandelier really stands out. Because of the location and windows, it is very sunny inside. We were the only diners. The hostess was very pleasant and service was prompt. The fried tofu was excellent and while tasty I felt the yellow curry and drunken noodle to be too mild. Granted I didn't ask to increase spiciness. Overall, pretty good and I would go back if in the neighborhood.
I had a negative experience and I won’t be ordering again!
The person on the phone was nasty and the delivery person’s attitude is worst! I called the restaurant back demanding to speak with the manager b/c of the horrible customer service and I was told that “Billy” wasn’t there. So I told my complaint to the person on the phone and we weren’t seeing eye to eye. The issue I had was the person taking my order kept telling me 5-7 times to leave a tip with is rude. The conversation with like this: He asked how much I wanted to tip on the phone. I said no I will tip on cash. He asked me twice if I was going to tip in cash, I said yes. So then I asked if the delivery person will call me and he said in order for the delivery person to get the cash tip they have to call me. So I asked again because maybe I misheard and no the phone on the then proceed to tell me I have to tip. I was taken back by it but and the I give the delivery person the tip they didn’t even say thank you. On top of that I’m at Playland and he didn’t verify my name or anything just gave me the food and took the tip and left. Horrible customer service and the food wasn’t even good.
Food is fine but service is poor. Took over 2 hours for my order to be delivered and takes at least 1 hour for the restaurant to pick up their phone. Do not recommend
Consistently late deliveries. Currently waiting at 8:15 for an order that had an arrival time of 6:45. No one answers their phone and they are impossible to get ahold of. Was told at 7:30 that someone was on the way and I live only 10 minutes from the location. Still waiting and not sure how I can even reach them

I get Thai all the time. It never disappoints. But this place is not thai. Zero flavor, very low quality food. Will never get again. Darien location is better.
Food was good but you only get 4 medium shrimp for a $20 lunch massaman curry. Flavors were good (carrots didn’t have any flavor though) and the woman was very apologetic we had to wait for pickup.
The food is totally overpriced! Disappointing!
The food is great. Service not so great.
Excellent food
This place is a rip off…expensive for the portions they serve and the hostess seems more intimidating than friendly…oh there is no kids menu as an FYI for all the parents out there ..
Food is fine just be wary of delivery. Delivery was a no-show after more than 90 minutes. They never called or notified me so called the restaurant and had to pick up the order myself. They did refund me for tip & delivery in cash but multiple people were at the restaurant reporting the same issue.
Love the food. If you are gonna pick it up order on their website, prices are cheaper.
Amazing food, great decor. Definitely have the Tom Kar soup, it's 10/10 . One of my faves here they never disappoint
Amazing food and very vegan/vegetarian friendly. Our table had the nicest waitresses I’ve ever met. Definitely would recommend.
The meals are not delicious and sooo expensive. It took more 1hour for delivery. I will never go again. Horrible.
I ordered a drunk noodles with duck for dinner (delivery) and it was terrible. They served me basically all fat greasy duck skin and no meat, there was no spice at all even though the description claims it is spicy, and the noodles were mushy. I am so frustrated that I spent money on this dish.
I don't usually leave bad reviews; in fact, if you look at my post history, most of my reviews are 4-5 stars. I never thought I would ever leave a one-star review--that is, before now. However, this place has taken the cake for me. The decor was quite weird, with the light-green pastel color clashing with the gauzy, dark-velvet red. The pad thai had a strange, salty-sweet taste to it, along with a weird aftertaste. Both me and the other person I was with also developed sores on our mouths while eating. The food was also insanely overpriced. This has been the worst dining experience I have ever received, and suffice to say, I will not be visiting this establishment again.
Poor service and poor food. Unfortunate combination. Too many reasonable options to repeat.
Do not order food from this restaurant. I have ordered delivery from them many times, and now I am done. The food quality is fine but nothing special, but it is WAY over priced and they routinely deliver the food 45-60 minutes late. There are many other places in the area with equal quality food for half the price and more reliable on drivers times. I am surprised these guys are still in business.
Food is fine, service is week, but most importantly, price is WAY too high for what it is. $22 is too high for middle of the road pad thai.
I like this place, the attention we received was excellent. Food was good too.
Me gusto mucho este lugar. Las personas que nos atendiwron nos ofrecieron un servicio excellent. La comida estaba buena.
I was visiting Connecticut for an event and decided to stay in a hotel close by. I got the name of The Little Thai Kitchen from a list of local restaurants provided by the hotel. The first red flag was the impatience of the person who took the call. Maybe she could not understand what I was asking but I had to hang up and google the menu and call back. 2nd red flag—it took me 8 tries before someone answered the phone. I finally got to place my order and when the food was delivered there were NO UTENSILS. I ended up getting utensils from the hotel and was ready to dig in……I’m really sorry to say that I was disappointed. Not only at the presentation but at the taste. I ordered the mango fish and asked for extra spice. It was bland and had no spice. I ended up throwing it away. Never again. Would not recommend especially for the price. Too expensive for awful tasting food and poor customer service. No thanks.

Cute little corner restaurant with minimal seating inside. We got take out and the food was delicious.
The cashier didn't even put napkin nor forks in our take out bag and his customer service was a bit aloof. Food was mediocre yet expensive for no reason, my mango chicken was marked as spicy on the menu, but to me it wasn't even close to spicy more sweet if anything. I understand it's still covid, but to have someone yell their credit card number outloud across the room to pay for the food just so that you can maintain social distancing is the best way for your customers private information to be stolen. Please find a better way for people to pay for their food.....
Muy buena atención y buena comida gracias
Overall good thai experience. But if you want spicy tell them you want "thai" spicy. Last time made me cry
Their Shrimp Pad See Ew and Pineapple Fried Rice are a MUST TRY 😋
Very good food.
Food was bland, service poor, zero decor. Do not recommend
Great take out or casual dining
Great pad thai!
Best Thai restaurant around.
Finest place to get food when in a hurry. Their service is fast, pricing is fair, good atmosphere. Will visit here again
Very disappointed.. heavy curry tasted of curry paste, heavily seasoned with fish sauce and little else. Bland flavor quickly diminished and left bad aftertaste. We were all with heavy stomachs after. Maybe we hit it on a bad night, but very disappointed.
If anyone has food allergies, do yourself a favor and stay away from this place. Very disorganized, incompetent staff who don't care. It took 15 minutes just for them to take our order down, and then the food contained all of the ingredients that we specifically told them not to include, due to a food allergy. The excuse provided - we are very busy. Had to throw away the food.
The food was pretty good and exactly what I wanted. The service was lacking and the tables were dirty. Overall still worth the trip.
This is the place to go for incredible Thai food! Look at this Tom Kha soup, absolutely delicious.
Simple, fast and good.
So many options for vegans/ vegetarians and the waitress was so sweet and accommodating. The atmosphere was beautiful and very clean. I will definitely be coming back soon!
Nice place we came to Friday night. We all had good time and we all thought that food and service were good. They are very nice people and they will do their best to try and make sure you will enjoy visiting their restaurant.
Placed an order for delivery at 6:30. At 7:30 called to check in and they say they would call back in 5 minutes to confirm a time. At 8:20 they call me and say it will be another 25 minutes.
Terrible service
Tasty food and cute inside
First time I had been here, I dint really like it much but the second time was really good I had their ginger chicken and it was simply good. I do love their Thai iced tea that’s good stuff. Must try it.
Very good food, friendly service, great atmosphere, hidden gem in rye!
Cozy, Thai classics. Welcome alternative to local offerings.
Beautiful decir. Great food!
A intimate experience - use the booths
Amazing, amazing, amazing. Delicious food, great service, definitely a spot for repeat visits. Easily the best Thai food in the area.
Went here with a few friends and we all ordered something different. The food was fresh, flavorful and came out quickly. It has a fun decor and was clean. A solid choice for Thai food.
I really like this spot. When I want a quick Thai food fix, this place does the job well. The coconut soup is by far my favorite to get as an appetizer and if you just need a good fix, then you can't go wrong with the Pad Thai.
Muy rico, ambiente familiar y ofrecen opciones vegetarianas.
Everything we've had has been great. Green curry, tom yum, tom kar, jungle curry, and red curry very well made with a great selection of fresh vegetables. The Thai Iced Tea is fantastic!
Great food, love it
I have only been here twice. The curry is pretty good, the fried rice is too oily. Seeing how crowded Watermoon is on weekends, i think LTK has potential for more business if it includes an open bar and better furniture
Food is average, not good, not bad. Some items are over priced: Ice tea is $4, C'mon be serious.
Always great!
Would go more often if the prices weren't so high for Thai food.
One nice see dish, one not, fairly gaudy decor for eat in
Great drunken noodles
There is really good food here that you must try
Great food and unique atmosphere. Staff is always friendly
They do not disclose their $5 delivery fee. I live 1.6 miles away. Horribly dishonest.
good food but $17-$23 entrees for thai food? Crazy
Service is fast and courteous. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere with an attractive interior. The food has good flavor, however if you want spicy be sure to specify "very very spicy" which was still not quite spicy enough for me. Overall a good solid effort and a welcome addition to the dining options in Rye.
Amazing, authentic Thai. Wonderful options for everyone, and fast service! Will be ordering from them regularly.
