Thai Time is hands down my favorite spot for Thai food! It was the first Thai cuisine I tried, and even after exploring other options, nothing compares. Every dish is flawless—tender, flavorful meat and perfectly cooked vegetables that are juicy yet still have a satisfying crunch. You can customize the heat level to your liking, which is a great touch. Their Sticky Rice dessert is an absolute must-try! The combination of sweet sticky rice and perfectly ripe mango is pure bliss. It's a seasonal treat, so it’s not always available, but when it is, don’t miss the chance to experience it.

You give them your order and then they hand you a little buzzer and they've got seating there now outside and then when you're busy rings you go get your food and enjoy!

That being said, the amount of food for the price is awesome.

I bought pad thai with tofu, but I didn't like the taste of the tofu at all. The tofu wasn’t salty and wasn’t tasty for me.
However, aside from the tofu, the pad thai was quite flavorful and tasty.
In my opinion, the price was a bit high.
I didn't particularly enjoy the atmosphere at this place; there were cars passing by nearby.
The service was quite pleasant, and we didn't have to wait long.

Fantastic authentic Thai food. We got green and red curry and pad Thai noodles. All the preparations are full of flavor. The portions is good too. Highly recommend to try this place. I am sure that in evening on a good day , it will be wonderful to sit outside and eat at this food truck park. They have GLUTEN FREE options too. Mention it to the friendly staff. They will do their best.

The best food! I usually buy Pad Thai with chicken, cheese rolls and garlic chicken! It's sooooo good!

The portion size for tom yum soup and taste is really good.

I wanted to like this place, but I couldn't get over how bad the tofu in my noodle dish was. It was firm, vs medium, and clearly not fresh, to the point of nearly being inedible. Bummer, because I love Thai vegetarian food.

I'm really disappointed. I bought 2 mango sticky rice and the mangoes were nasty. They were spoiled and tasted awful and i couldn't eat. I lost $17 and change. I won't be going back to this place.

Ordered 3 things and everything was so excellent, the food was ready super fast! Been to nearly all the thai places in Austin and this immediately entered top 3.

Been coming here for a while now. The food is really good and delicious, and most important for me is that it doesn’t change every time the quality is the same.

They are so nice and the food is delicious, sometimes we come back twice in a week. Yellow curry chicken, veggie egg rolls, pad prik king, chicken pad Thai, fried rice and Dumplings are all awesome and I highly recommend. I look forward to trying more dishes. Come here you won’t be disappointed.

I think this place is closed, every time I come it’s closed. But in online it shows open until 8pm. And no one is answering the call.

I tried this place on a whim. Ordered pad thai with tofu, pineapple fried rice with chicken and the thai green tea. The tea was amazing . It was sweet with floral notes. Refreshing and different. That drink alone is worth a stop.

The actual food fell flat. No flavor at all. Just... bland. Pad thai needed more salt and swèet. The fried rice was meh. I would not recommend the actual food.

I haven't had the pleasure of trying their food but... My little girl wanted to try the Thai Tea and they accommodated. She liked it and we bought a cup. Seems like a hut with my kids therefore I love this place.

Best Thai ever in the whole Austin. Always fresh, not too sweet and really a wonderful taste. People that operate the truck are always very nice and hospitable and not long waiting time.

This is close to my house so we eat here probably once a month. It is consistently good. Good portions and prices aren’t too bed either. We get the pad se ew, red curry, mango sticky rice and veg rolls and they are so yummy.

My favorite Thai in the Austin area, always order basil fried rice, pad see ewe and yellow curry and it never disappoints! Don’t forget sticky rice with mango for dessert and a Thai tea to drink yum!

Bland food with barely any flavor. This is the worst Thai food I've ever had. Clearly the food was just sitting around and reheated.
Nothing was made fresh to order at all. Spent $30 for two entrees and I wouldn't eat this food if you paid me next time.

Pad Thai: Lacking flavor and the chicken was dry and stringy. Very gross.

Pad See Ewe: They gave us yellow curry instead. The tofu tasted like a dry sponge and nothing seemed fresh.

Was recommended by a friend, and the friend wasn't wrong. It's a food truck, and I got takeaway, so I can't say much about the ambiance, but the food was awesome!

Everything on the menu always tastes fresh and delicious. I work at the tattoo shop down the street and we eat lunch here multiple times a week. It’s everyone’s favorite spot. You can order anything on the menu and know that nothing is going to be soggy or greasy or weird. High quality food. I used to eat at the Thai time location on south Congress about 10 years ago and it was excellent then too. My favorite dish is the cashew chicken but I have to order it without dried chilis because they are a little too spicy for me and it always tastes excellent. I also love the pineapple fried rice! It’s got curry in it, and with raisins, pineapple and cilantro so every bite is a culinary adventure. Grab yourself lunch here, it doesn’t disappoint!

I love Thai Time. It's my favorite food truck in this area. It's consistent and delicious. I love the thai tea, seasonal sticky mango rice, pad thai, dumplings...and MORE. It's always a W when I eat here.

Food was ok, but my god it was hot!!! Took a bite of the green curry after driving home and burned the top of my mouth. That was 4 days ago and still I can barley eat. Seems hot enough to melt the plastic container the food comes in.

Delicious and flavorful - simply the best Thai in the city!

Mango sticky rice was great. The Tom yum veggies weren’t awesome and the shrimp was slightly chewy but the flavor of the broth was amazing. I’ll definitely come back and try some more dishes and try to get this up to 5 stars. I feel bad for reviewing them based off one dish.

My 5th visit, still there and still the best tom kha gai. Will miss this place when I move out :( don't come here enough. This time the rice was spot on perfect. Pineapple fried rice is amazing as well. Not sure if I saw Satay in the menu on not.

So far its the best tom kha gai I have had in Austin. Being a food truck with less then restaurant traffic, the rice can be a hit or miss, but that to be expected. Been there 3 times and the soup has been consistently awesome.

I ate here 2 days in a row and it was awesome both days. I had the red curry with tofu. Was n Austin for a training for work. The container kept my food fresh. The rice was cooked just right. It was all around a great experience.

Great Pineapple Fried Rice!

I was blown away especially by the dessert. Rice-mango- some sort of coconut cream simple but delicious. The chicken pad Thai was fresh. I just woulda added a bit of spice to it personally.

AUSTIN ( even similar in Thailand street food), and my tongue will never gave me "wrong'l" sign..😃 "...thank you Pham for your delicious Pad se eu, curry, thom yam...ALL are the best!!..and super spicy (Not sweet like others that food restaurant in Austin)..trust me, whoever read this, Thai Time is the best!!

Yesterday, we ordered 2 orders of Vegetable Pad Kee Mao for my kids. Both the orders had strong fish taste to it. Never had issue before. The lady that took orders was pretty rude. I dont think we will be returning back or I would recommend anyone to eat at this place

We ordered several dishes. We like the fact the food was not as sweet as many other Thai places. We also find their food to be quite salty. Pineapple fried rice, red curry and Tom Yum were tasty. Pad Pak was good but potion is small. Pad Thai was good but could use a little more bean sprout and green onions. Green curry was very disappointing with little eggplant.

Everything from this menu is amazing, My favorite has to be the egg rolls and the sticky rice mango. I can eat this two items every single day. My favorite treat to self. The rolls are always so crispy and full of flavor. The mango is consistent with its sweetness and the rice is delicious. Must try everything on their menu.

This little food truck is probably the best Thai food in this corner of Austin. Their pad thai is the best of any restaurant in the vicinity. Also, their fried rice dishes are delicious. I normally find pineapple fried rice too sickly sweet, but theirs is a great blend of savory and sweet, with bursts of flavor from the cashews and raisins. On the other hand, I found their coconut curries a little underflavored, but still solid (to their credit, they use about half as much sugar as others places, which I'm betting is closer to authentic). Overall, this is your go-to spot for Thai food in northwest Austin.

We have just moved to Austin and really wanted Thai food but were wondering if a food truck experience, as our first meal out, was the thing to do. How happy we were to have made the decision and to have discovered Thai Time (and only 5 mins from our home). The food is excellent, the service was great and we really felt we had an authentic Thai experience. Even better than our regular Thai place in NYC. This will definitely be our go to Thai place. Thank you Thai Time.

PS the iced green tea with coconut milk was superb.

Highly recommend their green curry, pad thai, and thai tea. Their green curry is flavorful, veggies are super good. Their pad thai is not too sweet and their tea tastes really fresh. We usually call it in and pick it up and it’s been consistently good!

Honestly, it's not the best for some of their dishes..

But their tom yum definitely beats all of the expensive Thai establishments within 20 minutes driving.. maybe even farther? And that warrants 5 stars for me

Thai Time Austin is just down the street from me and I’m here all the time. I haven’t posted a review before because I’m usually inhaling the food. It is that good! My go to is usually the basil fried rice with beef and I got the cheese rolls too which will now be added to my regular order. This food trailer is at Pond Springs and Anderson Mill. Go there!

I love the foods but recently I think their opening time is unpredictable. It might be closed even during their scheduled open time. For example, it is closed on Wednesday today.

Not very appetizing. They use sona masoori type rice for their basil fried rice. Ice tea does not have bobba, egg rolls were ready made.

I came on my lunch break and ordered right away, staff was friendly. Ordered vegetarian pad Thai and veg spring rolls. I inhaled the rolls so no picture but the pad Thai below was different from what I’ve had in the past for pad Thai noodle wise etc but it was very delicious!! Definitely would go back and try other items.

Tom kha soup: rich, with great ingredients, thick soup. I have been to many Thai restaurants, and this being from a food truck, beats them all !

Red curry chicken: Nice rich thick curry, good portion. Taste was superb. Kids loved it.

Drunkin noodles: perfectly cooked flat noodles, with chicken, it was amazing. No need to be drunk to love this 😋

Fried Dumplings: These came out a bit dry, but the taste was great.

Great food , good quality and decent price, enjoyed every bit of it.

I have had a difficult time finding Pad Thai that I like in Austin. This place has the best Pad Thai I’ve ever had in my life! It was phenomenal! I also ordered the coconut milk soup with chicken and mushrooms, it has a name but I don’t know what it’s called. It was crazy delicious. I don’t really ever write reviews but this little food truck inspired me! So so so off the charts!!
