I’ve had pad see ew from hundreds of Thai restaurants in a dozen different cities. The noodles too often disappoint: too oily, too salty, too soggy, too dry… Thai Time is a rare gem that gets it right every single time! Orders come out very quickly and the owners are super nice. Go get their pad see ew! It’s yummy!

Diner Review №4

I got the pad Thai. Very tasty and it came out and five or six minutes.

Diner Review №5

One of , if not THE best Thai in town!

Diner Review №6

Thai Time is hands down my favorite spot for Thai food! It was the first Thai cuisine I tried, and even after exploring other options, nothing compares. Every dish is flawless—tender, flavorful meat and perfectly cooked vegetables that are juicy yet still have a satisfying crunch. You can customize the heat level to your liking, which is a great touch. Their Sticky Rice dessert is an absolute must-try! The combination of sweet sticky rice and perfectly ripe mango is pure bliss. It's a seasonal treat, so it’s not always available, but when it is, don’t miss the chance to experience it.

Below is their pineapple fried rice (So good and it has a bit of a kick to it) Also, you will see the Pad See Ewe which is my favorite as well as the dishes they serve which are posted when you walk up to order. You give them your order and then they hand you a little buzzer and they've got seating there now outside and then when you're busy rings you go get your food and enjoy!
Look for the pink food trailer!

Diner Review №7

The best food! I usually buy Pad Thai with chicken, cheese rolls and garlic chicken! It's sooooo good!

Diner Review №8

The portion size for tom yum soup and taste is really good.

Diner Review №9

I wanted to like this place, but I couldn't get over how bad the tofu in my noodle dish was. It was firm, vs medium, and clearly not fresh, to the point of nearly being inedible. Bummer, because I love Thai vegetarian food.

Diner Review №10

Pineapple fried rice is pretty spicy for something not marked spicy on the menu. Hard for me to eat as a spice wimp.

That being said, the amount of food for the price is awesome.

Diner Review №11

We ❤️ Thai Time! We had the Massaman Curry with chicken and Thai Green Tea for dinner - both tasty!

Diner Review №12

I love that place!!!

Diner Review №13

Diner Review №14

Y’all!
I order the garlic chicken. WOW!
The flavor is so dang good! The veggies were so fresh and cooked perfectly. Chicken was thinly sliced and had so much flavor. The portion was great for lunch! Paid about $13.
I’ve order the pork egg rolls a couple of times for a quick snack and they are also delicious. The dipping sauce is sweet and SPICY. Freaking amazing.
I will definitely return with my family.

Diner Review №15

I'm really disappointed. I bought 2 mango sticky rice and the mangoes were nasty. They were spoiled and tasted awful and i couldn't eat. I lost $17 and change. I won't be going back to this place.

Diner Review №16

Diner Review №17

Ordered 3 things and everything was so excellent, the food was ready super fast! Been to nearly all the thai places in Austin and this immediately entered top 3.

Diner Review №18

Drunken Noodle Master!!!

Diner Review №19

Been coming here for a while now. The food is really good and delicious, and most important for me is that it doesn’t change every time the quality is the same.

Diner Review №20

Woof woof! *wag wag wag*

Diner Review №21

They are so nice and the food is delicious, sometimes we come back twice in a week. Yellow curry chicken, veggie egg rolls, pad prik king, chicken pad Thai, fried rice and Dumplings are all awesome and I highly recommend. I look forward to trying more dishes. Come here you won’t be disappointed.

Diner Review №22

I think this place is closed, every time I come it’s closed. But in online it shows open until 8pm. And no one is answering the call.

Diner Review №23

I tried this place on a whim. Ordered pad thai with tofu, pineapple fried rice with chicken and the thai green tea. The tea was amazing . It was sweet with floral notes. Refreshing and different. That drink alone is worth a stop.

The actual food fell flat. No flavor at all. Just... bland. Pad thai needed more salt and swèet. The fried rice was meh. I would not recommend the actual food.

Diner Review №24

I haven't had the pleasure of trying their food but... My little girl wanted to try the Thai Tea and they accommodated. She liked it and we bought a cup. Seems like a hut with my kids therefore I love this place.

This side of the food trucks has been there for a long time and the landlord installed some metal covered areas which is super good.

Diner Review №25

I bought pad thai with tofu, but I didn't like the taste of the tofu at all. The tofu wasn’t salty and wasn’t tasty for me.
However, aside from the tofu, the pad thai was quite flavorful and tasty.
In my opinion, the price was a bit high.
I didn't particularly enjoy the atmosphere at this place; there were cars passing by nearby.
The service was quite pleasant, and we didn't have to wait long.

Diner Review №26

Diner Review №27

Best Thai ever in the whole Austin. Always fresh, not too sweet and really a wonderful taste. People that operate the truck are always very nice and hospitable and not long waiting time.

Diner Review №28

Fast, friendly service, I called ahead.

Diner Review №29

Really excellent

Diner Review №30

This is close to my house so we eat here probably once a month. It is consistently good. Good portions and prices aren’t too bed either. We get the pad se ew, red curry, mango sticky rice and veg rolls and they are so yummy.

Diner Review №31

Diner Review №32

One of the best thai food in Austin.

Diner Review №33

Diner Review №34

My favorite Thai in the Austin area, always order basil fried rice, pad see ewe and yellow curry and it never disappoints! Don’t forget sticky rice with mango for dessert and a Thai tea to drink yum!

Diner Review №35

Diner Review №36

Phenomenal Pad Paak. I dream about this dish!

Diner Review №37

This thai food truck is hidden gem, it gives you best Thai food at low prices , there food quality is better than some Thai restaurants I have tried around Austin, flavor are on point, they were happy to make changes to your request like make it vegetarian or vegan
Highly recommend this food truck

Diner Review №38

Diner Review №39

Pad Kra Pow is always delicious and never disappoints.

Diner Review №40

For a food truck they’re incredibly slow

Diner Review №41

Love their food! Never disappoints.

Diner Review №42

Ordering from here after some time. Ordered a pineapple fried rice and a pad-kee-mow. The food didn’t taste great and didn’t have any flavor.

Diner Review №43

Bland food with barely any flavor. This is the worst Thai food I've ever had. Clearly the food was just sitting around and reheated.
Nothing was made fresh to order at all. Spent $30 for two entrees and I wouldn't eat this food if you paid me next time.

Diner Review №44

Tastes worse than midwest pub food. How does this place have a 4.7?

Pad Thai: Lacking flavor and the chicken was dry and stringy. Very gross.

Pad See Ewe: They gave us yellow curry instead. The tofu tasted like a dry sponge and nothing seemed fresh.

Diner Review №45

Was recommended by a friend, and the friend wasn't wrong. It's a food truck, and I got takeaway, so I can't say much about the ambiance, but the food was awesome!

Diner Review №46

Best Thai around! Love the pad kee mao and so far haven’t met any Thai food lover who doesn’t give this place a thumbs up!

Diner Review №47

It used to be one of my go to place.
Everything was extremely bad today.
The way they took the order, extremely rude and unattentive.
The way food was prepared was awful, very bad taste, incredibly bad.
Won't go again anytime soon.

Diner Review №48

Excellent food! Loved everything here.. the quality and quantity of the is really good. Had no issues with my order. Very friendly!

There is plenty seating area around the food truck. Evenings would be a good time to spend and have dinner. Other times may be hot due to current heat conditions. The sitting area is covered though.

They are closed Sunday and Monday. They are open between 12 PM and 8 PM, other days.

The only problem is this - there’s not enough parking if you have many folks in the area as it also shares space with few other food trucks.

Diner Review №49

Pad Thai is really yum 😋 Definitely give it a try!

Diner Review №50

Everything on the menu always tastes fresh and delicious. I work at the tattoo shop down the street and we eat lunch here multiple times a week. It’s everyone’s favorite spot. You can order anything on the menu and know that nothing is going to be soggy or greasy or weird. High quality food. I used to eat at the Thai time location on south Congress about 10 years ago and it was excellent then too. My favorite dish is the cashew chicken but I have to order it without dried chilis because they are a little too spicy for me and it always tastes excellent. I also love the pineapple fried rice! It’s got curry in it, and with raisins, pineapple and cilantro so every bite is a culinary adventure. Grab yourself lunch here, it doesn’t disappoint!

Diner Review №51

I love Thai Time. It's my favorite food truck in this area. It's consistent and delicious. I love the thai tea, seasonal sticky mango rice, pad thai, dumplings...and MORE. It's always a W when I eat here.

The service is really fast and very friendly.

Diner Review №52

Food was ok, but my god it was hot!!! Took a bite of the green curry after driving home and burned the top of my mouth. That was 4 days ago and still I can barley eat. Seems hot enough to melt the plastic container the food comes in.

Diner Review №53

Diner Review №54

Bad attitude the girl with long hair.

Diner Review №55

Diner Review №56

Diner Review №57

This is really delicious. I ordered pineapple rice, that was a little spicy. I hope the rice is not too spicy for kids.

Diner Review №58

Delicious and flavorful - simply the best Thai in the city!

Diner Review №59

Mango sticky rice was great. The Tom yum veggies weren’t awesome and the shrimp was slightly chewy but the flavor of the broth was amazing. I’ll definitely come back and try some more dishes and try to get this up to 5 stars. I feel bad for reviewing them based off one dish.

Diner Review №60

My 5th visit, still there and still the best tom kha gai. Will miss this place when I move out :( don't come here enough. This time the rice was spot on perfect. Pineapple fried rice is amazing as well. Not sure if I saw Satay in the menu on not.

So far its the best tom kha gai I have had in Austin. Being a food truck with less then restaurant traffic, the rice can be a hit or miss, but that to be expected. Been there 3 times and the soup has been consistently awesome.

Diner Review №61

Diner Review №62

Diner Review №63

I ate here 2 days in a row and it was awesome both days. I had the red curry with tofu. Was n Austin for a training for work. The container kept my food fresh. The rice was cooked just right. It was all around a great experience.

Diner Review №64

Diner Review №65

Great Pineapple Fried Rice!

Diner Review №66

I was blown away especially by the dessert. Rice-mango- some sort of coconut cream simple but delicious. The chicken pad Thai was fresh. I just woulda added a bit of spice to it personally.

Diner Review №67

I love this place the food is always good.

Diner Review №68

Kind people once you talk to them. Great Curry as well.

Diner Review №69

Diner Review №70

Diner Review №71

The food is bland and nothing special. The portions are small for the price...

Diner Review №72

Diner Review №73

This place is excellent. It's as good as the many delicious Thai restaurants we loved in the bay area. The portions are generous and everything is very fresh and flavorful.

Diner Review №74

Fantastic authentic Thai food. We got green and red curry and pad Thai noodles. All the preparations are full of flavor. The portions is good too. Highly recommend to try this place. I am sure that in evening on a good day , it will be wonderful to sit outside and eat at this food truck park. They have GLUTEN FREE options too. Mention it to the friendly staff. They will do their best.

Diner Review №75

Their food is amazing and made authentic! My fave is the Tom Yum soup! Highly recommend!

Diner Review №76

Excellent Thai food truck in Austin. One of my favorite food. Pat Sew Ewe with shrimp is best.

Diner Review №77

They have the best garlic chicken! Love the place. Such good food!

Diner Review №78

The Thai fried rice is 10/10. The chopped tomato added to it makes it so good.

Diner Review №79

The food here is on point.

Diner Review №80

Oh My God, the best, most underrated Thai food ever.

Diner Review №81

Diner Review №82

Diner Review №83

Food is good but very rude customer service

Diner Review №84

Tried this to experience different cuisine. They did not disappoint us. Worth a visit every now and then.

Diner Review №85

Food was fine

Diner Review №86

Maha Vajiralongkorn would be proud to eat at Thai Thai!

Diner Review №87

Diner Review №88

Diner Review №89

Delicious, authentic Texas Thai food at Austin's own Thai Time food trailer.
Select from over a dozen Thai specialties including a popping Pad Thai and creamy Tom Kha soup.

Diner Review №90

Great food and great owners! Highly recommend!

Diner Review №91

Great Thai iced teas !
Food is delicious and hot.

Diner Review №92

Ordered green curry and it was so nice. Definitely will visit again.

Diner Review №93

The Pad Kee Mao was delicious and fresh. I also had the best Thai iced tea I've ever had in my life from this place.

Diner Review №94

Iced Thai tea was out of this world. Never had tea that good. Had the shrimp pad Thai and it was beautifully seasoned.

Diner Review №95

Really tasty Thai food!
We take it a least 2 or 3 times a week.
My favorite is their Fried Rice!
Pineapple fried rice is my hubby’s fav!
100% recommend them!

Diner Review №96

Diner Review №97

When first time I ate at Thai time, business so slow..not long line, but when I tried it once..I talked to the owner (Pham) .."hey be ready and prepare....you will be busy SOON...your food is the best thai authentic food I've ever ate i. AUSTIN ( even similar in Thailand street food), and my tongue will never gave me "wrong'l" sign..😃 "...thank you Pham for your delicious Pad se eu, curry, thom yam...ALL are the best!!..and super spicy (Not sweet like others that food restaurant in Austin)..trust me, whoever read this, Thai Time is the best!!

Diner Review №98

You’d be dumb not to eat here.

Diner Review №99

Diner Review №100

Great food, friendly workers, AMAZING portions....just convinced myself I need to go grab some right now.. it's that good.
Thanks y'all!

Diner Review №101

Great thanks lace

Diner Review №102

Yesterday, we ordered 2 orders of Vegetable Pad Kee Mao for my kids. Both the orders had strong fish taste to it. Never had issue before. The lady that took orders was pretty rude. I dont think we will be returning back or I would recommend anyone to eat at this place

Diner Review №103

Got their veggie pad kee mao, tasted like it was cooked with fish. It was bad.

Diner Review №104

I've been here so many times I've lost count. The food is phenomenal and there usually isn't much of a wait.

Diner Review №105

Had the red curry and it was excellent

Diner Review №106

My favorite Thai food in the area, strongly recommend pad thai, pad kee mao and green curry!

Diner Review №107

i'd have to try the fried rice, gotten curry here twice and while it's decent, its a little thin and not nearly as spicy as I'd like.

Diner Review №108

Could taste meat from veggies. Overall taste was good.

Diner Review №109

We ordered several dishes. We like the fact the food was not as sweet as many other Thai places. We also find their food to be quite salty. Pineapple fried rice, red curry and Tom Yum were tasty. Pad Pak was good but potion is small. Pad Thai was good but could use a little more bean sprout and green onions. Green curry was very disappointing with little eggplant.

Diner Review №110

Everything from this menu is amazing, My favorite has to be the egg rolls and the sticky rice mango. I can eat this two items every single day. My favorite treat to self. The rolls are always so crispy and full of flavor. The mango is consistent with its sweetness and the rice is delicious. Must try everything on their menu.

Diner Review №111

This truck is amazing! The massaman curry was so flavorful

Diner Review №112

This is really great Thai. It’s my favorite here in town. Especially the pineapple fried rice. Not sure what she does to it but it’s awesome.

Diner Review №113

Diner Review №114

Diner Review №115

Everything is soooo delicious!! 🤤 Authentic Thai food. We stayed in Austin for a couple of days and discovered this place. We were back every day! Strongly recommend!

Diner Review №116

This little food truck is probably the best Thai food in this corner of Austin. Their pad thai is the best of any restaurant in the vicinity. Also, their fried rice dishes are delicious. I normally find pineapple fried rice too sickly sweet, but theirs is a great blend of savory and sweet, with bursts of flavor from the cashews and raisins. On the other hand, I found their coconut curries a little underflavored, but still solid (to their credit, they use about half as much sugar as others places, which I'm betting is closer to authentic). Overall, this is your go-to spot for Thai food in northwest Austin.

Diner Review №117

Diner Review №118

Diner Review №119

Really good!

Diner Review №120

Diner Review №121

Awesome food. Great portions. Pad kee mao is my favorite. Going there today as well

Diner Review №122

Diner Review №123

Everything here is EXCELLENT. Real Thai food, lol I'm going there tonight!!!

Diner Review №124

Love the garlic chicken!

Diner Review №125

Diner Review №126

Addicted to this food truck! Best Pad Thai in the Austin area. Definitely recommend.

Diner Review №127

Diner Review №128

We have just moved to Austin and really wanted Thai food but were wondering if a food truck experience, as our first meal out, was the thing to do. How happy we were to have made the decision and to have discovered Thai Time (and only 5 mins from our home). The food is excellent, the service was great and we really felt we had an authentic Thai experience. Even better than our regular Thai place in NYC. This will definitely be our go to Thai place. Thank you Thai Time.

PS the iced green tea with coconut milk was superb.

Diner Review №129

Highly recommend their green curry, pad thai, and thai tea. Their green curry is flavorful, veggies are super good. Their pad thai is not too sweet and their tea tastes really fresh. We usually call it in and pick it up and it’s been consistently good!

Diner Review №130

Diner Review №131

Honestly, it's not the best for some of their dishes..

But their tom yum definitely beats all of the expensive Thai establishments within 20 minutes driving.. maybe even farther? And that warrants 5 stars for me

Diner Review №132

The best Thai food, highly recommended!!!!!!

Diner Review №133

Awesome Thai food. Our pad Thai and fried rice were perfect. One of the best Thai food I ever had in Austin. Highly recommended.

Diner Review №134

I ordered Thai Food from Thai Time the very first time, and I already decided that I want to return to this place for more. Thai food from here is so Authentic infused with rich flavor and the vegetable is so fresh and green. I am amazed by the quality of Thai Food from Thai Time. Highly recommend Thai Time!

Diner Review №135

I tried Basil Fried Rice and it is really amazing. Must try!

Diner Review №136

Diner Review №137

Diner Review №138

Great food! Their PadThai is delicious and their pineapple fried rice is hands down my favorite in town.

Diner Review №139

Thai Time Austin is just down the street from me and I’m here all the time. I haven’t posted a review before because I’m usually inhaling the food. It is that good! My go to is usually the basil fried rice with beef and I got the cheese rolls too which will now be added to my regular order. This food trailer is at Pond Springs and Anderson Mill. Go there!

Diner Review №140

I love the foods but recently I think their opening time is unpredictable. It might be closed even during their scheduled open time. For example, it is closed on Wednesday today.

Diner Review №141

We really enjoyed this place. The pineapple fried rice is awesome.

Diner Review №142

One hour waiting at the place for the food. With only a couple of customers before.
The employees had a terrible attitude with an unwelcoming experience.

Diner Review №143

Very good pad Thai! Got hot and it was spicy enough .

Diner Review №144

Diner Review №145

Great food

Diner Review №146

Very good pad Thai and delicious dumplings. The food was very fresh and had great flavor

Diner Review №147

Taste good, even better than restaurants ~

Diner Review №148

Delicious and authentic. Makes me miss my times in Thailand

Diner Review №149

Diner Review №150

Some of the best curry dishes.

Diner Review №151

I got my usual Thai spicy green curry. Yummy! Compares well to other Thai places in this area, especially in the curry.

Diner Review №152

はやい、やすい、うまい!

Diner Review №153

Everything is good!!!!

Diner Review №154

Great hidden gem. Their food is great but their mango sticky rice is amazing!

Diner Review №155

Tried their basil fried rice, egg roll & thai ice tea.
Not very appetizing. They use sona masoori type rice for their basil fried rice. Ice tea does not have bobba, egg rolls were ready made.

Diner Review №156

I came on my lunch break and ordered right away, staff was friendly. Ordered vegetarian pad Thai and veg spring rolls. I inhaled the rolls so no picture but the pad Thai below was different from what I’ve had in the past for pad Thai noodle wise etc but it was very delicious!! Definitely would go back and try other items.

Diner Review №157

The curries are amazing

Diner Review №158

I had Pad Prik khing with shrimp and my fiance had garlic chicken. They were both incredibly delicious with fresh ingredients! We ate it all and felt great after too. We will be back ❤

Diner Review №159

Fantastic. I was transported back to Thailand! Great quality, Authentic Thai cuisine done right!

Diner Review №160

This place is so good! Everything I have had is amazing & tastes so fresh I loveee the dumplings! Customer service is awesome! I’ll be back!

Diner Review №161

Taste good! Fair price

Diner Review №162

Always delicious, presented well, and very courteous chef/owner.

Diner Review №163

Great food, great prices, what else needs to be said? :)

Diner Review №164

Best pad Thai I’ve had in Austin! I’ve been searching for a good Pad Thai place. This place is phenomenal and under $10. Can’t beat that

Diner Review №165

We have this place a shot after reading all the reviews!! The food is absolutely amazing, quality, quantity and price, it was perfect. We ordered :

Tom kha soup: rich, with great ingredients, thick soup. I have been to many Thai restaurants, and this being from a food truck, beats them all !

Red curry chicken: Nice rich thick curry, good portion. Taste was superb. Kids loved it.

Drunkin noodles: perfectly cooked flat noodles, with chicken, it was amazing. No need to be drunk to love this 😋

Fried Dumplings: These came out a bit dry, but the taste was great.

Great food , good quality and decent price, enjoyed every bit of it.
Keep up the quality and we will be back for more !!
🙏🏽

Diner Review №166

Love the food here!!!

Diner Review №167

Came across this place on google maps and ordered Pad Thai and Red Curry for takeout, they got it ready in less than 15 mins, the food tasted good, will definitely come back again.

Diner Review №168

Very delicious Thai food at reasonable prices — some of the best I’ve had in Austin, actually. Would highly recommend to anyone in NW Austin.

Diner Review №169

Delicious!! My whole family loved the food. Pad Thai was great and so were the egg rolls. Basil fried rice was so good. Soup was great. Family of 5 was super happy!

Diner Review №170

Delicious, green curry and Tom yum soup

Diner Review №171

I generally don't write too many reviews but Thai Time deserves one.
Excellent food. Tastes just right. Yummy.
Highly recommended ! Enjoy !

Diner Review №172

Diner Review №173

Diner Review №174

I have had a difficult time finding Pad Thai that I like in Austin. This place has the best Pad Thai I’ve ever had in my life! It was phenomenal! I also ordered the coconut milk soup with chicken and mushrooms, it has a name but I don’t know what it’s called. It was crazy delicious. I don’t really ever write reviews but this little food truck inspired me! So so so off the charts!!

Diner Review №175

Among the best Thai food in Austin. Ordered the Pad See Ew and it was amazing.

Diner Review №176

Best fried dumplings I’ve ever had

Diner Review №177

Ordered the Tom Kha and it was the best I've had! Piping hot and filled with zesty creamy flavor. 😍

Yummy food.
Lots of parking.
Reasonable price.
Lots of options.
Friendly staff.

Drunken noodles is my favorite.
Nice place to sit and 2 dinosaurs for kids to play.

At a very good location as well.
