This place is super cute and the atmosphere is very relaxed. It took a minute to be served only because I don't think the waitress saw us at first. It's a seat yourself type of place. It is open spaced with a separated room for parties etc. The food was good although we did not care for the calamari. I had the Thai rice with shrimp and my husband had the hibachi steak and shrimp. We will definitely have to try the Sushi tacos the next time. We will eat here again!

My wife and I got married and went here afterwards for food. We were the only ones there and the waitress (I can't remember her name but she had an accent) was so nice to us and gave us amazing service in celebration of our occasion. She even took pictures for us after we were done! The chef behind the
counter was also very nice and made our plate look beautiful and congratulated us on our big day as well. We had been here once before but this trip left an impression on me and my wife so I had to leave a review.

Peanut sauce was duck sauce with nuts on it. The Pad Thai was not Pad Thai, I am not sure what it was, but it could easily cause a national incident between the USA and Thailand. Pad Thai is a balance of five flavor profiles, theirs was a soup.

Can't go wrong with Thai Taco, in my opinion. The chef, Jerico is one of the best sushi chef out there. He will try his best for you to feel comfortable and definitely will go above and beyond for your needs on sushi.

I was surprised to find that this was a sushi joint, but it was a very pleasant surprise. The interior is funky and fun, the staff is friendly, the food is great, and the twist on fried ice cream was spot on.

Best hidden gem for sushi in Summerville. Also they like to use spice so don't underestimate a 3/5 on their spice level.

Place was empty when we arrived, and that worried us. Service was great, food was delicious and different.
He had a sushi roll. I had the coconut taco roll. It was delicious. We also ordered the drunken noodles cause it had so many positive reviews. Did not disappoint. Tastes like pad thai. Had leftovers for lunch.

I was told the men's room was discusting. If it's empty in there and all the cars outside belong to employees, perhaps they should spend some time cleaning.

This place was gorgeously decorated for the winter holidays!!! Good menu variety. Hibachi was cooked well and served with lots of rice. Nigeri was served well and had great flavor and variety on the sampler platter I ordered.

Service was excellent, food was fresh and good quality. Price was worth it and not as much as it could have been.

I only give it 4 stars because of the appearance inside but other than that the food is really good. I had the soft shell crab appetizer and the shrimp udon noodles. Also the drinks are very good. This place is not easy to spot, so it's pretty easy to miss but rest assured the service is excellent and I enjoyed the conversation with the staff, they are very friendly.

The sushi is amazing done to perfection... the sesame chicken and fried rice is delicious got the spicy at a level 3 out of 5 and it has the perfect amount of heat but doesn't over power the flavor of the food the people in there were very nice and made sure I was taken care of 10 out of 10 will definitely be going back

The most disappointing food I've had.

First, delivery was missing veggie sushi and tacos. I was charged.

The $5.50 salad was chopped romaine woth 2 tomato and 2 cucumber slices and shredded carrots. Soggy wet and no dressing.

Fruit and veggie roll and vegan summer rolls have the thinnest sli e of mango, wilted, blackened and old basil and hardly any Avocado. This cost $18.50

Edamame and Gyoza were so cold.

This full order cost $75 and such a bad meal, i ended up eating cereal. Don't waste your money

This was my first time visiting this place that my co-worker RAVED about. So, of course, I had to see what all the hype was about. Well, he rave was warranted. This was such a pleasant dinner.

The outside was clean, but there is little parking, unless you park in the neighboring parking area. We were able to snag the last park8ng space, which made me believe the place may have been PACKED. Contrary to my belief, it wasn't packed. At all. But that's a good thing.

The atmosphere was of a nice quaint setting. We arrived around 7:30pm. The lights were dim, and there was a certain coziness about the room. It made perfect for a quiet date night. We initially were thrown off by the larger tables since it was only 2 of us. So, we attempted to be seated on the other side of the building. The other side, the bar area, was a completely different atmosphere. It was that of, well, a bar., too, oo was clean. The lights were not as dim, and there were TVs on the wall as you see in most bar settings. The place appeared to have potential for a fun night out with friends.

We returned to the main dining area and sat down. We were instructed to seat ourselves. The tables are covered in white linen tablecloths. The chairs are wooden; dark brown, to be exact. The tables along the wall, while accompanied by chairs, face a couch style seating space. They are separated by extremely comfortable pillows to create two seating areas instead of one. And, yes, I forgot to take pics of the seating. Actually, I forgot to take pics of the bar area as well. To ad insult to injury, there's what looks like an amazing covered patio area that was lit with beautiful string lights, equipped with its own bar outside. While I pined over it, I forgot to take pics of it as well. Le'sigh....

Anywho, THE FOOD! The food is DELICIOUS!!!! I ordered the bed salmon roll and a shrimp taco. My date ordered a hibachi with filet mignon, shrimp, and chicken. The hibachi came with their Thai fried rice and veggies. My sushi was magnificent. The hibachi, because of course I can't just watch him eat it and not try it for myself, was very tasty. My favorite about the dish... the steak was cooked as ordered, medium rare. He even had enough hibachi to take home for a second meal.

Everything was plated well and the. Customer service was really good. The wait staff allowed us time to decide on what we wanted and answered any questions posed.

The pricing was fair for what we ordered. Neither of felt that we were conned after receiving the final bill. That's a definite plus. For the two of us, it totaled right around $55.00.

Overall, it was a great dining experience. I'll definitely be back. Next time, I'll take a few more friends with me to enjoy the bar area and maybe the patio as well.

The tacos was trash.. the drinks was awful. The drink was awful. The sushi’s was not it .. I will not recommend it to nobody.. I spent 82 dollars on two tacos and a drink .. I was mind blown.. the hibachi steak was even trash .. to be 22 dollars.. please do not waste your time going to this spot. I will give 0 stars if I could ..

I do not like this place. We ordered delivery. Crab wontons were burned. Philly roll cheese tasted sour and they did not put masago on the sushi as requested and paid for.

They now have rudest staff on Friday nights for there Latin night. A $20 cover for Latin night on a Friday where we used to go to dance to good dance music after the live act ended. Recommend taking your business elsewhere on Fridays.

Came with a party of 8, automatic 20% grat. We were given food at different times. One person waited 30 min and her order was wrong- I ordered a lot, and I'm a slow eater. For once in my life, I actually wasn't last one finished with my meal! Server was friendly and kept up with the drinks. Great food. Definitely will go again but not with a large group.

One of my favorite places to go for sushi! The sushi chef is awesome and very creative which makes it fun and exciting to go and try his new rolls and tacos. I love the sushi tacos that is one of my favorite things and my go to when im craving sushi. Its a little pricey but for all that the chef does to me delicious sushi is worth the price! My only thing I would suggest is maybe fix the decor. It's a little dated and messy but overall I will still always come for the food and that's what matters most!

Had hibachi vegetables and drunken noodles. Noodles were really good, but the hibachi was 🔥. Name that tune music trivia on Thursdays at 7! Live music Fridays 6-10. Great spot, look forward to next time!

Yes, it's a little dilapidated on the exterior and it's not the cleanest place in the world. BUT, the food and service are five star. A very fun, interesting and yummy take for the sushi tacos and their other rolls are just as good. Definitely worth checking out.

The building needs some upkeep, and I was second guessing my decision to go there. I'm glad I did go, because the sushi was the best I've EVER had. Staff was pleasant, professional, and courteous. California Roll was amazing. Steak hibachi was OK, not what I'm used to from Sannos but was good. Steak was great everything else about it seemed slightly bland. White sauce was great. Great bartender, she was running back and forth between the bar and main restaurant atea but did a great job keeping the bar clean and drinks filled and stayed in a great mood. Would go back. I felt bad for the tip amount we left, she should have got waaaaay more.

We have followed Jericho for 10 years now. He makes absolutely the best sushi we have had along the coast! The location is great in Summerville and the hospitality is wonderful.

Sushi was amazing but Thai food just didn't taste authentic.

People are nice. Food is not. Everything was from frozen food. Pad Thai was frozen vegetables, some peanut sprinkles, and semi fresh noodles. The hibachi style meal ordered was prior frozen steak and precooked/frozen chicken. Chicken wasn't heated up all the way. The fish taco tasted like greasy breading. The chicken and steak tacos were dry meat.

Food was tasty, good fusion on the tacos! Pad Thai was good, and it was made to the requested spice level, big kudos for that! Had a hard time finding full menu online but they had our walk in order ready in about 15 minutes, a reasonable time for the items ordered. Prices were fair and we 3 all definitely be back!

Our experience wasn't good from the moment we walked in. It was a struggle to get to the table with how sticky the floors are which the tables matched as you sit down on frayed benches.

The food equalled the environment, fell flat in every way possible. Miso soup obviously sat on the burner for hours, how can you mess up miso soup? Sauces not made in house, may as well buy off the shelf at wal-mart for better quality. Nothing seasoned. Avoid this place

This is now the 3rd time I've gone here and they are never open when they should be. Went on a Saturday at 3pm. Closed. Then I went the next day on Sunday at 8pm this time the door was open but the lady came up and said hey yea we are closing an hour early. Went the following Sunday on at 420pm and yet again they were closed with a sign that says open at 4..... but yet they are closed. Called them twice no answer on the phone. I give up. Mind you all three times it was atleast 2 to 4 of us. You just lost all of our business.

Food is ok. Chicken is generally dry. I enjoy the different take on Asian food.

We walked in about 9:10 and weren't sure if we would still be able to eat(understandable) but thankfully the chef said he would make us out rolls no problem. My wife and I sat at the bar off to the side not the main seating area. We had the Thai mules while we waited for our rolls and tacos. This was our first time trying a sushi taco and it was SOOOO good! One had lobster and the other coconut shrimp. Our regular rolls were also delicious. 🍣🌮 Everything was great and we were glad we tried it out. I gave it 4 stars because when we were finishing up we did see a cockroach near my wife's plate on the bar. The back bar does sit near a door for the patio so it might have gotten in that way. Still a overall good experience with the tacos and rolls.

Our Server Julia was the only star in this place. The papaya salad was over taken by the cabbage. This is not your traditional papaya salad it is some werid concoction. It has no flavor nor did the Thai fish tacos that was over cooked Again taken over by cabbage. This place is obsessed with cabbage. Sushi had no flavor supermarket sushi taste better than the sushi served here. Definitely disappointed!

We all really enjoyed our traditional sushi and the sushi tacos are great. There are kid sized hibachi meals that my kiddo really enjoyed. The food is pricy for the portion sizes you get, but everything is great.

I don't know how this place gets such good reviews. We gave it a shot and I 100% regret it.
It took over 8 minutes to be greeted at the door. It took another 10+ minutes after I payed to get the food even though I arrived at my pickup time. I saw all of two tables with people so they weren't busy at all.
The lettuce in the salad was brown (all of it!). The avocado in the sushi was already brown. Their white sauce is more like the sweet onion sauce from Subway. The house soup smelt so bad no one would eat it. The soup was also put in the bag laying down so everything else in the bag was drenched in "body odor" soup. Not to mention the roach crawling across the floor right when we walked in the door. That's when I should have just walked right back out. I payed $85 for takeout just to go home and cook another dinner. Never again! Gross, dirty, slow, and terrible food.
