Take out
Was expecting better with all the good reviews but was let down by everything except the entre.
The spring rolls were boring, the coconut soup was basically mushroom soup with lime and the mango with sticky rice desert had hard and unripe mangoes.
The massaman chicken was tasty even though it was made with peanuts instead of cashews.
The service was also not the best. Just major attitude off the girl the helped us.
The curry did fill a craving but sadly the rest of the experience did not.
I love love this place. The food is delicious. In a week I’ve been twice. The first time I had the creme brûlée French toast and the pork rolls. The second time I had the drunken beef noodles. My bf had the chicken and waffles. All of the food was tasty but I would say the French toast was the absolute best! It was soooo good you really didn’t need syrup. It comes with bacon and a mini hash brown. I would come back every Sunday for that. It is on the brunch menu on Sunday’s. I am not sure if it is sold throughout the week or not. The chicken and waffles was good as well. The chicken looked beautiful lol. The drunken beef noodles was okay. Nothing special really. Try the pork rolls! They were also delicious! I would go back and try another Thai dish. Other dishes that were coming out looked good as well. The space is small so I imagine it can be a bit of a wait if it is busy but they are quick to serve you so it probably would not be a problem. They also have a fried ice cream dessert I would like to try. In short, I Definitely recommend this place, on Sunday anyway.
So as much as I eat out and review I have never tried pho or Thai period so today I decided to try the beef pho I did get a Togo plate so excuse the presentation. Let me start off by saying the owner was extremely friendly and has great customer service second it was fair quick service for fresh cooked food. As far as the pho you can taste every single seasoning in the broth I want to try other thing on the menu but since it was lunch I didn’t want to over do it but I will try this place again. Warning the pics I took of the menu may not have corrected price because as we all know all food has went up but the owner explained prices also.
Hello, I recently saw an article in regards to the closing of the restaurant. I am so sorry for what is going on. I wish and pray For your Family. Im leaving this Review BECAUSE I am so sad to hear for the closing. I completely understand . This Restaurant IS the Perfect Spot that Downtown Macon has Ever had. The Food is Amazing. Just wanted it to be Known. 🙏🏽 You Guys Rock ❤️ Thank You
Unique dishes that the chef creates.
Food is great but customer service was not so great. Restaurant is understaffed
Loved it, as always!
My son had the chicken and waffles he rated it a 10/10 and I had the salmon blt and it was amazing. Definitely a must try and I will definitely be back.
Great food!! Great service! Would go back!! Unfortunately we were in a large group for a celebration, I did not take photos.

We always get the crispy duck (best in Macon), the spring rolls, and mango sticky rice for dessert. This is one of the most consistent places I’ve been to and they’ve NEVER messed up a to-go order in the 4 years I’ve ordered from them.
Great meal with my husband. We had spring rolls, drunken beef noodles (gluten free upon request), shrimp pad thai and thai tea. 😋 My first experience with Thai cuisine and we were not disappointed.
This is a hidden Gem. We had the Drunken Beef Noodles, Pork rolls, house ginger salad and the crab cake. Everything was very delicious and cooked to perfection. Really enjoyed the atmosphere. Lite, quaint and relaxing.
Ok, here's my review.
I went here maybe 2 weeks ago. I went around lunchtime on a Friday. It was not busy. The place doesn't look bad, but the tables weren't clean and the floor needed to be swept.
The girl that waited on me seemed slightly annoyed because I took a while to order(1st time there). Then I knew I wasn't wrong because after I ordered, she immediately left with a backpack on. So, maybe she was heading to school.
Now, the food review. I ordered the pork spring rolls and some type of coconut chicken soup.
The spring rolls were good enough to eat. They were hot and crispy.
The soup was horrible. The base of the soup tasted curdled with a strong lemon flavor. The owner, Chef Tom, took it back to make it better. The second time the soup was better, but it just lacked in flavor and finesse. The owner asked was everything okay, I gave him my honesty. He offered to remove the soup off of the bill. I just went ahead and paid, because he really did try to please me. The owner, Chef Tom, was very friendly, so that's why I paid full price. So, I will try again...maybe a noodle or fried rice dish.
Delicious quality food. 100% Recommend
Always great

I LOVE this place… BUT having lived in a large city and eating LOTS of Thai food, you ABSOLUTELY can create dishes that are consistently mild, medium, hot and Thai hot. Don’t tell customers you can’t tell “HOW” hot your red pepper flakes are, that is what the chef’s tongue is for.
Best Thai food around. The owners are the sweetest people ever. 🤗 Will be back.
We love Thai food, this is one of few place we don't care for. Flavor just not there.
I normally get lunch at Ladda's Bistro, this is a Traditional Ti restaurant, the food is always season nicely not too spicy, but if you like your food very spicy they can accommodate you.
Hit or miss, sometimes the sauces can be high on Sodium..
Amazing! Really guys… loved it 🥰
Definitely not authentic Asian cuisines for me. The fried rice was too greasy and very mushy, wasn't worth the price for 14$. The veggies still too crunchy and too raw. Last time I got here it was OK, but yesterday definitely food wasn't as I expected to be. Am a foodie and I know which authentic and not.
Headed back from a trip to Perry and stopped in for dinner. Supposed to open at 5pm but the door was locked at 515pm. Finally the young lady saw us fumbling around and opened up. Waitress dont wear mask if your wondering. I had glass noodle chicken and husband had pad se u. It was ok thai, I have had better.

Wow!
Got the duck with penang Curry. Best one I've ever had
Very nice folks
Food is amazing
And guests service is best too
Super cute, food was awesome, staff was wonderful. 10/10
Great food and menu selection !
Food was ok. Slow service.Would probably not return.
Great spring rolls and dumplings. Drunken noodles was great.
Really good food and great service!
Great
Amazing food quality and quantity. Impeccable service! 10/10!
Excellent food. The A3 Dumplings are the best ever! You'll wanna come back for more...
Excellent Thai food. Place is clean and service was excellent. I highly recommend the crispy duck.
First time experiencing Thai food and it was a wonderful time. We enjoyed Jen very much she gave good recommendations and was very friendly.
Great fried icecream
Everything was delicious especially the dessert!
The meal was amazing! Super fresh and flavorful! We tried 4-5 dishes and were not disappointed. I’m tempted to knock a star because the server was a bit disappointing. The place was basically empty and they did the bare minimum to check in with us and interact. Others have had good service so maybe some slack is in order. We’d still go again.
Awesome food that's made fresh! Best thai in the area!
Awesome food!!! Need I say more.
Panang curry vegetable is what I always order and it's the best. I just wish they open everyday.
Best PHO I have ever had
Great food with plenty of vegetarian and gluten free options. Bonus points for Covid safety precautions and keeping their staff safe. Tom is a great guy and wonderful chef.
Made a large order that was perfectly packaged and brought out to my car promptly. Everything was so good. Excellent.
Excellent vegetarian selection and extremely good peanut sauce. I can't speak for the service because my visit was during the pandemic so we couldn't go inside, but the food is so good that even if I came back and the waiter screamed in my face I'd still give them 5 stars.
We love dining at Ladda Bistro! Their brunch is amazing.
I have never had a bad experience at this wonderful establishment....we love them
This place is a hidden gem. Everything is cooked and served fresh. They have brunch on Saturday and Sunday, check it out if you've never tried it. The grit bowls are great! I've never had a bad meal whether it be brunch or dinner.
Prices to high for small servings.
100% repeat customer...Thanks chef!!!
Prior to deciding to eat here we checked the online menu. When we arrived and ordered we were told that they no longer had a lunch menu. They said the website was wrong and out of date. No longer was salad included with entree and in fact nothing is included. Maybe in Macon this is the norm. Maybe my expectations were too high based on the quality and quantity that Milledgeville’s Kai Thai offers.
Absolutely the best chicken and waffle anywhere!! Nice little place with superb service love it!!
Amazing food!! Some of the best Thai and southern around. Red curry was great! Only complaint was waitress wasn't as friendly or attentive as could have been.
Not bad! I had the beef soup. Service was quick and friendly. Place was clean with a nice mood and located in downtown Macon. We also ordered the fried green tomatoes which were breaded with a light breading that wasn't overly greasy.
Overall, I'd return and try moreitems on their menu. Since we were there in the around noon on a Saturday the only things available were the brunch menu. I believe the full menu is available after 3pm.
I've tried the beef panang and the massaman chicken noodle and both were really really good. I also recommend the golden tofu but I realize not everyone is a tofu fan
The service was good and the food came out quickly, but for me it wasn't worth the price. There wasn't a lot of flavor and in general the food was kind of plain. Won't be returning.
Absolutely amazing . LovedLovedLoved it.
Wait staff awesome....just enough space
This is the best Thai place I have ever eaten at. Tom and Da really know what they're doing. They cook traditional Thai food how it is supposed to be done. They also have brunch on the weekends and offer comfort food like: grit bowls, creme brulee french toast, smoked salmon Benedict, chicken and waffles, etc. Try the crispy duck and the ribs. Those are both amazing dishes for dinner.
Trying to find a parking space sucks but besides that the food was pretty good. Its a small place so you might have to wait to get seated. Definitely recommend.
High quality quisean at a price you can afford.
Great omelets before elf!
The chicken & waffles are the best brunch item! Mimosas aren't strong, but they are okay. A pitcher is $15 & worth it if you have two or more people. Small restaurant but I enjoyed the coziness. Service was good.Excellent choice, every thing on the menu is great. Full of flavor. Thai tea is great and don't forget to get desert, Thai coffee crème brûlée..
This small family-run restaurant serves delicious food and provides very attentive and friendly service.
This is a must go. In my 60 something years it was some of the best Thai food we have ever had. Everything is made fresh from scratch and it shows. We ordered 4 small plates and all of them pleased our senses. I must say that it's rare for me to find a decent dessert in a mostly Thai place but this did the trick. Not a good big fan of fried ice cream but when it's all done fresh in the back it was just excellent. Please try this place.
Food is awesome.
Nice Sunday brunch
Vegetarian friendly and delicious food
I'm rounding up the score given the fact that they were open for lunch on Sunday, when much of downtown Macon appeared to be closed up. We were driving home from Savannah and were in the area around lunchtime. We felt fortunate to have found this place. I think we got one curry and one noodle dish. Both were quite good. Service was fine.
My friends and I had Sunday brunch here & it was delicious. The dining area is a little small so be mindful when you have conversations they do carry. Also the owner came around to each table and asked us how was the food and the service. 👌👌👌
Absolutely delicious! Massaman curry is my favorite, and I’ve had it many places, but none of it compares to this!
The crispy duck had a very nice presentation, and the taste was outstanding! The salads are super fresh with unique, tasty dressings. Service is great, and the chef even comes out to check on things. Give this place a try, you won’t be sorry!
The best in Macon. Authentic cuzine at it's best.
The BEST Thai food in middle Georgia, hands down!! Great Thai Iced Tea and after you enjoy your yummy entree be sure to order the "real deal" fried ice cream... You can thank me later!!
Food and service were just as wanted before the trip to the theater next door.
Do go here. The food is so good! The service is great, and plus the place is clean!
I love Ladda Bistro, the food is incredible, service is excellent, prices are incredibly good for the quality and serving size. I am a foodie and this is one of the number one spots in Macon if you’re not wanting to spend a bunch of money for a name and reputation like a lot of places downtown.
Thai food and the setting at this place is super good. went there on a friday i think. the service here is friendly. it has a good feel to it.
Delicious curry, friendly staff. The gyoza were stuffed full of pork, and the food was well seasoned and full of flavor.
Chicken & waffles were delicious
The food was out of this world - so amazing and flavorful, plenty of vegan options and high quality ingredients. I had their signature salad and coconut soup and it was one of the most delicious meals I have ever had. The restaurant is very clean, with pleasant atmosphere and nice staff. Will definitely visit again when I'm in Macon next time
I had the Brunch and it was fantastic!
There for a Saturday brunch. Have to try the Thai food next time.
Love LaDDa bistro! I had vegan pad Thai and it filled me right up! The Thai tea was very good, and sticky rice with mango is a great dessert!
Crispy duck.
Great food and ambience
Awesome food! The crispy duck was perfect!
Great Sunday brunch! Try the Thai tea
Wonderful food. Beautiful decor. Fast & kind service. Brunch was delicious.

Their regular and brunch menus are both really good.
We just moved from Florida and this is a great place with great service and even better food we will be back regularly
Absolutely Amazing!!!
Great food, great service, can't ask for anything better!
Great local spot. Friendly staff.
My go to place in Macon when craving Thai, but great brunch menu and good service to boot!
Love the amount of vegan options here and how willing they are to accommodate! The owner Tom is also a great guy!! Their food is just superb.
The food is some of the best in the city of Macon! The Chicken & Waffles are excellent! The Shrimp & Grits are a must try!
The Salmon is delicious, perfectly cooked and generously portioned.
Very poor service great tasting food. We had a 80 tab tipped 20 for nothing. Though the food is good I think it's my last time.
Great food, excellent service, and the tofu soup is amazing!!!!
Excellent food, very noisy! And always busy!
I was pleasantly surprised. I had the creme Brulee French toast on the brunch menu. It was delicious. The ambiance was really nice. Great place for a date.
wonderfully authentic Thai food. simple and quiet atmosphere. one of the best things they do is to show you how they prepare their dishes on a flat screen TV. it's like they have their own food network featuring their kitchen. one of the best 'appetizers' that there is!
they also do a really nice Sunday brunch with southern cooking. all of their food is perfectly seasoned and well-presented. very reasonable prices as well. I highly recommend it.
This place was such a surprise. I enjoyed eating there so much. The waiter was very friendly and accommodating. The food was AMAZING. It is a small restaurant that I wouldn't have noticed unless someone pointed it out to me. But I am so glad that someone did. One of my favorite places to go eat. Prices are reasonable and you get a pretty good amount of food too.
Best chicken and waffles in town!
Definitely a bistro set up with everyone dining in close proximity, with a tv and a small full service bar. Nicely decorated.
Menu is authentic thai geared on the sweet and fish sauce tangy side. It seemed really tame until our server informed us, after the meal, that she put the orders in for medium instead, even though we ordered hot.
The food wasn't bad but it wasn't amazing compared to Thai I've had elsewhere. I came here on a Friday night with 6 other friends so I didn't expect the fastest service but it took about an hour and a half till we got our food. I'm willing to try it again because I love Thai food and give them the benefit of the doubt that they were busy.
Always great food and service!
Delicious!
Nice atmosphere and great food
Great authentic food! Chef even altered a dish to my business partner's taste.
Food is amazing! Best Thai food I have ever eaten! Great service and beautiful plating! Everything that I have tried on the menu has been fantastic! Tom, the owner, is awesome too!
The standard menu is always consistently delicious. I think the mark of a fantastic restaurant is one that produces the same excellent quality no matter when you go. This is one of those places. Their special menus (like Valentine’s Day) are exceptional. You have to love a place that gets creative and nails it every time. I would post pictures, but it was too delicious not to eat immediately. lol
Food is always so fresh, flavorful, and delicious! Excellent service as well! One of my favorite spots in town!
This place is AMAZING! Since we first discovered it a little over a week ago, we've already been FOUR TIMES!!! Food is absolutely, bar none, some of the best I've ever eaten. Family owned and operated, and they truly care about their customers. The owner is delightful and very friendly, and oh so creative! Please don't miss out on an opportunity to experience this little piece of Thailand right in the middle of downtown Macon!
Wonderful food and outstanding service
Food is seasoned well, very quiet and calm place.
The food was delicious, the staff was very friendly and the atmosphere was great. We had dumplings, shrimp curry & drunken noodles. Everything was a hit. We will be back despite the 30 minute drive from our home.
Delicious lunch
The service and ambiance is perfect. I had the coconut chicken soup and the stuffed, fried chicken wing. Both dishes were tasty and I will definitely be back for more. Also, the wait was very short and prompt!
The fried tofu & coconut chicken soup are amazingly good! I had the pad woon sen too & it was very BLAND. That may have been my fault as I neglected to tell them to make it medium spicy. Pretty good service, tho.
Had the salmon BLT and cheese grits. Not a big fan of adding corn to grits, but after adding salt it was ok. The salmon BLT was very flavorful and a good portion was served for a reasonable price. Also, the thai iced coffee was a tasty beverage. I could definitely see myself going back again for the brunch.
Ladda Bistro is fantastic! I love their pad Thai and Thai iced coffee. Great prices. Great service. I come at least once a month.. 😋
The best Thai food in Macon! Super fresh and delicious Everytime!
They have the best chicken and waffles I have ever had. The chicken is what makes this dish so good! its cooked, seasoned and breaded perfectly. Just remember that they only serve it on the weekends. I highly recommend Ladda Bistro!
