It’s very authentic Thai 🇹🇭 food. The lad na, pad thai and pork noodle soup is very good.We had egg roll and Tod mud gong (deep fried shrimp cake) for appetizers it’s really good 👍🏼 . You guys should try!
Will be back and try other appetizers and entrees when we are back in town.
My wife and I, along with a small group from Myrtle Beach Vegans, visited Thai E-San Food Restaurant and had an amazing lunch! I enjoyed the delicious Pad See Ew and a dairy-free Thai Coffee, while my wife and I split the Tofu Fresh Rolls. She also had the Yellow Curry with Tofu, which was full of flavor. The service was excellent, with everything coming out fresh, hot, and exactly as ordered. Everyone at the table was raving about the food, and we had a great time. This authentic Thai restaurant offers a fantastic variety of vegan options. Highly recommend!
Went here on a whim to try some Thai food while in the Plaza. The food was pretty good. We tried the Calamari appetizer and it was only like 6 or so of them and they were tiny so I wouldn't reccomend grabbing those.
We tried the Thai iced coffee and iced tea - both were very good!
I always try to visit locally owned restaurants when I am on vacation.
While visiting the Myrtle Beach area researched on Google for Thai restaurants. We found this one listed and had good reviews so we decided to have lunch here.
I'm so glad we did. We had a fantastic lunch. The hot and sour soup was much different than Chinese hot and sour soup that I've ever had. And this was a lighter base and excellent flavor. Probably the best I've ever had.
I had an angel hair for rice noodle dish. The chicken dish and it was extremely flavorful and I really enjoyed it. My wife had the eggplant stir-fry dish and she thoroughly enjoyed hers also.
While speaking to the owner, Tonya I found out that she was working in Norcross, Georgia nearby where we are from in Kennesaw, Georgia and then moved back here and open this restaurant.
The service from Tanya was wonderful. I really think that you should come eat here. Visit with her and try this wonderful food. This is truly a hidden gem here on the Grand strand.
Vegan heaven
We had our monthly meet up here on the recommendation of one of our group members, and we will certainly return as a group very soon. Every single person who ordered LOVED their meal from curry to stir fry to noodles and fried rice. The server and owner clearly knew what vegan means so no one in this vegan meet up was concerned the order would be made with animals in it.
We were there on a Saturday so did not order any lunch special. The food quality is good-the vegetables cooked to perfection and fresh. Staff friendly and cheerful. The portions were nice sized and the price was good. The table for us to sit as a group was set up and waiting for us. So easy to be vegan with great food like this. We cant wait to come back.
The food was phenomenal. Small little mom & pop restaurant. There is usually a 30-minute wait. Only 1 waitress takes orders, serves food, and runs the register. So don't go there if you're in a dish. But if you're not on a tight schedule, you really should try them.

Heavenly food - we ordered Red Curry, Spring rolls & Pad Thai. Loved it. Will come back again for sure.
Food was amazing as always!!
We ordered through Uber eats. The food was so good that we wanted to order it again once we finished.
What a nice place to have a quiet meal. The soup was delicious!!
We're on vacation and we're learning there's not many vegan options in MB. This place was more than accommodating, most their menu can be veganized. Staff was friendly, food was amazing, portions were large. Will be back on our next MB visit!
The food was excellent. The flavor was excellent. I highly recommend the noodle soup.
Thai E-San is a small vegan-friendly restaurant located near Fresh Market in Myrtle Beach. They have many dishes that are vegan and they can make many of their dishes vegan. Our favorites are the Pad Wun Sen with tofu (Crystal Noodles Stir Fry) which includes egg but if you ask them to not add it, they are happy to comply. Also, we love the vegetable fried rice with tofu. Again, it includes egg but just ask and they'll gladly not add it. Overall, it's a delicious, friendly, restaurant with many vegan options that we love.

Came in late on Labor Day 2024. Had Mixed veggies with chicken in brown sauce. Delicious. Rest of group had Salmon curry, shrimp with veggies and chicken fried rice. All was good. Service was great. This will be a favorite going forward.
Delicious drunken noodles and curry chicken!!
First time eating here. Pleasant decor & good service. The hot basil fried rice was tasty, but the beef was not very tender. We liked the pad kee mao (drunken noodles) and pad Thai. The best thing was the papaya salad, which was flavorful and fresh. We would come back the next time we’re in Myrtle Beach.
Love getting takeout from here whenever we are in MB.
My partner and I shared a plate of chicken pad Thai, as we weren’t that hungry. It was plenty enough to fill us both. I’ll definitely be back to try a few other menu items.
Last year when we came for vacation the food was delicious! This year the food was not good, maybe because the chef is different. The taste is below standard.
The food here is fresh and delicious! Plus, our kids absolutely loved the veggie fried rice.
Super good food. I had yellow curry and my wife had pepper steak for lunch. Both came with hot and sour soup for 9.95 and a spring roll. Soup and spring roll were really good. The soup wasn’t my favorite flavor but I appreciated that it was still very good. Entrees came out and wife had a little more green peppers than she was hoping for but the yellow curry is amazing. Sooooo good. Only real issue was wife wanted no ice in the sofa and waitress forgot but meh, wasn’t a huge deal. Everything was amazing. Highly recommend.
Very authentic Thai food! Lots of great options on the menu and the service was great. Highly recommend the chicken dumplings and the glass noodle salad.
I knew the second I walked in here that I was going to love it. Service was lovely. And it was the best Thai I have had in so long!
They were Closed on a Wednesday at 11:45am.
Very kind to make me a dish right at closing! Very nice!
The food is always really good, but their service is slow. Seems like they're understaffed, but we always sit outside and enjoy it since we're never really in a rush.
Speaking as a Thai, This is the best Thai food in Myrtle beach. I’ve tried every Thai restaurant here, this one is the best choice you should go. The owner doesn’t advertise much that why I’m here. Give it a try you will love the food!
Authentic Isaan. Very good 👍
Amazing food!
Found this little gem after attending my Stretch Zone session next door. My benchmark for a good Thai place is the Chicken Pad Thai. It was VERY GOOD. I've ordered other dishes since and highly recommend Thai E-San!
Starting with the positive.... the food is good. We had the wings, green curry and pad thai. We waited for awhile to get noticed by a waitress. She rarely came out of the back for anything.... except the door alarm, which beeps (loudly) four times for every entry or exit. They play smooth jazz music, but the vibe is ruined by the incessant loud beeps from the door alarm. After finally retrieving our own menus, we waited again for the waitress to take our order. The restaurant was not busy, but it took awhile to get our food. Again, the food was tasty, but that's where the good ends. The server dropped our food and never checked back. At this point we were the only people in the restaurant. We still had to yell into the kitchen to get our to-go containers and check. After packing our food, I waited (yet again) to pay. Sorry, but there are too many better Thai options in the Myrtle Beach area to come here ever again.
Ordered offline. So excited to try this place and get the food I ordered as I was starving. How disappointing it was when my fiancé arrived home with my food and it was so disgusting I threw it away after first bite. Ordered shrimp pad Thai and shrimp Tom ka w/no mushroom…. Never again!
Food was okay - but service was appalling. I ordered for pickup and they said it would be ready in 30 minutes. I showed up 35 mins later and it wasn’t ready…ended up waiting another 35 mins in the restaurant. 70 minutes later my food was ready. They definitely weren’t apologetic, didn’t even acknowledge what happened. There are plenty of other Thai options, suggest you go somewhere else that cares about service.
Maaaan this was stupid good! The BEST dumplings I've ever eaten in my life. The BEST massaman curry I've ever had. You know what else... can't beat the price. Keep your bars and flashy lights.... I'mma choose great eats.
I am fairly new to the area, and I have been on a mission to find my favorite Thai food place. THIS is it. Absolutely the best pad thai I've had in the area. The pad mama and panang curry are also excellent. Also, the staff is very friendly! I visit here at least once a week. So thankful I found this place!
Tom kha was OK. Green curry was very good!
Delicious food, and great service.
Wonderful restaurant! Delicious food with lots of vegetarian options.
Thai food is one of my favorites. The food at Thai E San is excellent. Please don’t miss an opportunity eat here.
Best Thai food! Good vegan dishes! My son always brings me here and it's such a great place.
I've never had a bad meal here. No matter what flavor you choose, which meat you pick, you will get delicious, fresh, well-prepared dishes. The beverages are just as good and the restaurant has a great coconut juice drink that they get shipped in from NY. The service is friendly and helpful.
There are only 2 negatives and they both are about communication:
1) It's difficult to find a menu online. The restaurant doesn't have the greatest web presence and I suspect I'm missing daily specials. Also, whenever I recommend this place, I inevitably get asked where their menu can be found.
2) They keep the phone off the hook when things get busy and sometimes forget to hang it back up when things slow down. This means if you're like me and you're a half an hour away, you can't call ahead on say a Sunday at lunch time and pick it up when ready. You have to go there, order and wait for it. This means that I unfortunately don't get to order from here as much as I would like, but when I do, it's a special treat.
My husband got the spare ribs… Which I tried, and I got the wonton soup and the pineapple fried rice with chicken… And ginger tea…. absolutely the most delicious Asian food I have ever had. The soup was so fresh and delicious. The spareribs were very tasty, and the ginger tea was so special. Our waiter, Thomas, was darling.
Great lunch for $8,95!!
Amazing food and Amazing service
First time here on vacation. I ordered chicken fried rice and crytal noodle salad and they were amazing. Tomas, our server was friendly and helpful. I am coming back tomorrow! Great experience!
Great place with really good food and service . We took veggie soup and basil fried rice and it was awesome!!
Great Thai food with very fair prices. I've been to many Thai restaurants in different states same Thai E-San is there with the best.
Always a great warm meal. You really can't go wrong with anything on the menu. From the fish cake and wings appetizers to the fresh salads, the amazing entrees, and the delicious curries, they're all good.
We left went some where else. Menu wasn't what we wanted
Large servings, unpretentious family run place with vegan options. The cashew tofu is excellent!!
Basil fried was delicious
Best Thai food in Myrtle Beach!
Service is on point!
The best Thai restaurant I have ever had so far in Myrtle beach. I knew this place because my Thai friend recommended me here, the food and services are wonderful! I will definitely come back here again
Terrible service.
Chicken wings were very good. Fried ragoons were good. Thai tea was good. The meals were bland and had no spice to them at all. When you order spicy basil stir fry and there’s no spice…. Tasted nothing like any Thai we’ve ever had.
I always try to visit locally owned restaurants when I am on vacation.

Very good Thai curry dishes. Good service and a quaint little atmosphere.
We are in town visiting and so glad we stopped in for dinner. Will definitely come back. Loved the green curry!
Fresh food. Fun staff. Great atmosphere. Had the pleasure meeting the owner. Funny and sharp guy. Glad we made the decision to eat here. Will be back in due time. (: Thank you.
My new “Best Thai” restaurant for Myrtle Beach, good service, and a nice quiet, but tidy colorful atmosphere
Alongside of phenomenal Thai food, their flavors are a little bit more savory and not quite as floral as what I’m used to, but I got Panang curry and Tom Ka Gai both had amazing depth of flavor and were loaded with plenty of my protein of choice
They had Black N standard White sticky rice tooo! Highly recommended, will b returning
When we arrived to eat at the restaurant, there were 3 other tables in the eating area. We were informed that it would be at least 45 minutes for our food to be ready after we ordered because they take orders as the come, including take out. We opted to get take out instead. The food was ok, bland and no real flavor. We ordered the pork pad thai ($13) and the chicken pad kee-mao ($12). It was not the worst meal we've ever had, but by far not the best.
Best take out Thai food
Amazing curry ON TIME** even when they were busy
** UNLESS YOU USE GRUBHUB. DO NOT USE GRUBHUB **
This place is a hidden gem and one of the best restaurants on the north side
The thai fried rice is not authentic at all. I’ve been to many thai restaurants and this is the worst I’ve had. It is something I could’ve have made at home. It was also very salty too
Good Thai food, reasonably priced, strip mall atmosphere.
Very bad service, very bad food.. the servers tried best but food wasnt as expected.. curries were too sweet rather sugary and pad thai tasted awful.. thai basil fried rice was uniquely new .. something i had never tasted before.. practically white rice mixed with a few veggies.. totally bland.
we waited an hour waiting for food so just gulped down some of the food but overall a bad experience.
We did not even touch some of the food since it wasnt edible and still they charged us for everything.
Never coming again!
I have to disagree with the 5-star ratings. We ordered green curry which was salty and the coconut milk separated very quickly. The basil stir fry had minced chicken thrown together with green peppers. It was not complete and it was not good. The Thai basil shrimp fried rice was hurriedly cooked and the shrimp was thrown in cold. We did not enjoy this food at all.
Best Thai on the beach, hands down!!!
I'm from New York where there are many thai restaurants. I can honestly say that this is the best Thai food I've ever had! You will not be disappointed!!
Food was so good! Owner was really nice, restaurant is kind of small though. Tea was really good. We got the chicken pad Thai and the curry, so much flavor and tender chicken. Will come again, definitely recommend for authentic Thai food.
Loved it!!!! Super nice staff, awesome appetizers, and phenomenal entrees!
Their pumpkin yellow curry was the best I've ever had in the US! All four of my dinner mates wanted a bite and said that it was delicious and flavorful. My seven year old daughter got the Pad Wun Sen and loved it! She said it was "super yummy." My ten year old got the Pad Kee Mao with shrimp, and she said it was "phenomenal"! My wife got the Goey tiew hang and loved it.
The thai wings appetizer had an amazing homemade sauce, on top of them being cooked to perfection. They were absolutely finger licken' good!
Thank you for the delicious food, the place was great. Definitely would go back to eat there again 9/10. Thank you again for the amazing food!!!
Spent $ 50 and didn’t get nothing that I ordered. I asked for beef tips and noodles .
They failed . Did
I had the papaya salad (with tofu and spice level 4/5), fresh rolls with tofu and panang curry. Everything tasted great!
Excellent thai food and very good service. Definitely will come back here
This place is awesome. I always get a beef salad and it never disappoints!
Authentic Thai food great food
One of my new favorite Thai restaurants. The owner Nat is awesome about recommendations and accommodating dietary preferences. We asked for the best vegan dishes and most could be made vegan. We got the tofu fresh rolls (so good and actually tasted fresh), yellow curry (which we’d never tried because we typically stick to green, red, or panang. Loved it), and the pad kee ma (loved that it wasn’t as oily as most noodles). The vibe of the restaurant also was so calm and positive. Highly recommend.
Good food. Nice vegetarian options! I had fresh rolls with tofu and massaman curry with vegetables in coconut milk. It tasted great! Friendly waiter!
Don’t know where I should begin…This is by far the worst experience ever at a restaurant.
I arrived when there were 3 groups of customers. There were 2-3 people who worked there but just sat down at the table closest to the restrooms and did nothing. When I arrived, they didn’t even try to tell me to get a table and bring me a menu. Fine, I went to grab a menu at the counter.
After 5-10 mins, there were 3 more groups coming. The first one sat down next to me. They waited 10-15 mins without getting a menu while the second group who went after them got a menu and already ordered. But at that moment, they didn’t even care about me after being there for 20 mins. Finally, the first group who sat next to me left because they didn’t even get a menu. A young man who was a waiter said sorry to them, but but but he still didn’t care about me even I called him to take my order. Total of around 25 mins waste of time that I stayed there before I decided to leave.
I don’t understand how this restaurant get pretty high ratings. For those of you who had bad experiences there, there are tons of decent/good/great Thai restaurants in the US, literally almost everywhere. Please don’t hate Thai food because of this restaurant.
This is a note for them who are Thai. Quite sure that they still won’t care to improve:
My husband & I just found this delicious gem today. Had pad tai w/ shrimp and red curry absolutely loved the food it was so flavorful! Plus we went all out had 3 dessert!. We had sticky mango rice, Thai donuts and Roty- all delish in there own way. Plus our server was very helpful and kind. I encourage everyone to come try this wonderful place! Will definitely be back!
I got the sticky rice and ice cream. If you like really sweet things, you’ll love it for desert. 🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼
Amazing Thai place! The food was delicious! The service was perfect! Very clean place and super kid friendly! We will be back!
Can't say enough good things about this place. The crab rangoons were wonderful as was the pad Thai. We'll be back.
It took 1 hour and 30 minutes for the order to come and food was awful and not up to any standard expectations. We ordered 4 items and couldn’t not touch 2 of them as they are so bad.
Great food, nice waiter, this food gave my life new meaning.
Absolutely delicious soup with a fragrant, flavorful broth and plenty of chicken. The mango rice was yummy. Both servings were plenty for that meal and lunch the next day. Our server was pleasant and the food came up for all four of us quickly. Highly recommend, we plan to go there again this week.
Lunch menu veggie options are fantastic with delicious food and served with smiles
Good food. Took a long time for our food to be served. Saw take outs going faster for all orders made after ours. Waited almost 40 mins after ordering. Got to change the door bell which is annoying!
One of the best Thai/Laos food! Very authentic.
Good little Thai restaurant in a strip mall. Saturday late afternoon. Plenty of tables available. Only one waitress, so if things get busy she's going to be running hard. The Panang Curry is awesome. Number 4 on the heat scale was perfect. The Crispy Duck wasn't bad, but not as full of flavor as the curry. The dumplings and Satay were really good, too. Mango Sticky Rice for dessert. Best Thai in Myrtle so far.
Way too long of a wait. Some dishes were not even hot, orders were wrong and messed up, and service was extremely poor. Do take out if you eat here, or be prepared to leave out of frustration.
Pad Thai is killer and a good deal. The rangoons are good but expensive for the number you get. I still get them every time because they slappppp
Yummy
Great food and great service. Best Thai food on the strand
The slogan for this company should be it’s not ready yet because it’s never ready here. This is the slowest place in Myrtle Beach.
Every new place we visit we seek out a Thai restaurant, this one was a winner, and walking distance to the resort (Marriott). All of our food was absolutely delicious. I always order pad woon send with tofu, everyplace makes it a little differently and this was the best anywhere, full of crisp cooked fresh veggies. Service was great as well, can't wait to go back!
We always order from here when we visit. The food is delicious! You cannot go wrong with the noodles and curry.
They always take over an hour to give you the food even if the restaurant is empty. Worse service ever
Very very good food and friendly smiles and serene atmosphere, definitely worth the stop. I absolutely loved it.
Nice and tasty food
We enjoyed a lot 👌
Got the beef noodle soup. It was amazing!
They have a really good beef noodle soup here, a real thai noodle soup which is different from many restaurants here that make it so sweet or just sour.
Got the 38, pork, 5 stars hot, made me break into a bit of a sweat. Totally would do it
Food is not tasty. Host is very rude.
Worst service by the lady at the counter. Right in the beginning she waived off her hand and didn’t want to take our to-go order. In a rude tone she said, “we have several orders backed up and it would take 35-40 mins.” Why would someone be upset if that message is relayed in a polite manner. Extremely, extremely unpleasant experience, no fun in even providing a review on quality of the food.
Ordered pork mixed vegetable stir fry, supposed to have thai brown sauce, all it has was water from the vegtables, dish was almost tasteless.
This place got a low score by the health department. The employee doesn't wash their hands. Stay away
Cannot believe this place is still open after the health department gave them a C 🤮
Great experience, there was only one server and he was still attentive to everyone and brought out our food in time and gave us excellent service!
[1st customers of the day] I had low expectations thinking they were going to cook to cater Americans than Thai food lovers (less spiciness, a generic Americanized menu), I was wrong!
Their Somtum papaya salad (Lao style) was so good: perfectly spicy & complimentary to other Thai dishes. I couldn’t stop drinking their Tomyum soup! It made me sweat but I didn’t care. Finally, their $48 fried red salmon was crispy & delicious! A bit pricey, but no one in our party complained about how it tasted.
I thought their Thai chicken wings, duck yellow curry, & shrimp Thai fried rice were alright. I also tried their chicken satay, which was above average. I was mostly filling up with the 3 aforementioned dishes!
We are from Ohio and eat Thai food a couple times a month. This was by far the BEST Thai food we have ever had!!!!
Love this place! Fresh great food. Tell Momma what a good job she’s doing. Our family Eats here on a weekly basis. 10/10
Excelente lugar, boa comida, bom atendimento.
Really Really good food. I got the Thai Fried Rice and it was really delicious and super flavorful
Great fresh food at a great price!!! Definitely one of my new favorite places to eat!!!! Outstanding!!
Friendly Service and Good Food. We had yellow curry, Thai fried rice, pineapple fried rice, vegetable rolls. All good.
Delicious foods, friendly service.
Tasty Pad MaMa.
The worst Thai food I have ever had in my 18 years of being in the USA. Don't be fooled by the previous reviews - I was. The place is smelly and looks like a fast food joint although the menu prices were that of an upscale restaurant. The food was served cold, it was bland and it smelled of raw chicken and seafood. Overall it was a disgusting experience! I also doubt the sanitation rating of this place.
Always so fresh and the portions are great, I try to come here as much as I possibly can!
Very very good Thaïe restaurant.
Compatriotes Québécois n'hésitez pas cest très bien.
Awful food and service . We got the food after waiting for almost an hour. Ordered everything vegan but we had eggs in fried rice. Avoid going to this place or make sure look at each and every item you order we said we would like drunken noodles to be spicy but it was very bland:(
Best thai food around. We love this place and go all the time. Panang curry is the best ever!
Absolutely delicious food. The place isn't fancy but the food was great. Had Panang curry with beef, Red curry with chicken, Pad See Ew, and Tom Ka Soup... Love by everyone in our foursome.
One of the best laarb gai's I have ever eaten, and that includes a year in Thailand. It has that burst of flavor, and the toasted/ground sticky rice. It's a simple, yet tricky dish to do just right. Highly recommend.,
I’ve been eating Thai food since the early 80’s and this was hands down one of the best meals. The food was cooked to order, lovingly prepared, using fresh ingredients. I live in Philly, have lived in New York and DC, traveled to San Francisco, and now I wish I lived closer to Myrtle beach just so I could eat here more often. Thank you so much!
Fabulous food. Had the lunch special for $7.95. you get a spring roll, small sweet and sour soup and choice of a main from the menu, had Thai Green Curry.😋
Don't let the small small location fool you, this place is a diamond in the rough! Great, authentic northeastern Thai food. Best Som-Tom I've ever had.
Decided to go here spur of the moment as I had some time to kill, SO GLAD I DID! the lady that was there was incredibly friendly, and the dish I ordered was one of the best I've ever had. I got the chicken pad see ew, which I always get when at a thai place. Large portion, and cooked/seasoned perfectly. Very quick for a walk in take out order, I was only there about 10 min total. Very reasonable price as well. Whenever I come back to visit, this will definitely be a stop!
Friendly service with awesome food! Thank you for always making my stomach happy! LOL
Overpriced , over salted , will not eat here anymore
Some of the best Thai food I've ever had! Pad Thai was perfect and the Tom Kha soup was to die for. Customer service was great and we didn't wait long for our to-go order. If I lived in the area, i'd eat here all the time. No dine in but the decorations they put up look classy, cute and very authentic. Mirrors they're advertising for authentic Thai food.
Outstanding! The best Thai in the area. Small place where you wait and talk to the staff. Perhaps the best ever!
Wow best Thai food I’ve had in awhile, very friendly service as well.
Great food. Price and portions great for the lunch special.
Update: Went for a second meal and was very disappointed. I ordered the Pad Thai. It was tasteless. There was very little sauce and what was there had no flavor. I ordered it with shrimp. There were 7 shrimp. Very little egg. So I don't recommend this dish. You pay for a bunch of noodles with a little sauce.
Second dish was the Pad Ma Ma with seafood. This dish was very salty which made it less palateable.
So it appears to be hit or miss as far as quality. Take your chances.
*******************
We ordered take out lunch. The Garlic and Black Pepper dish with shrimp and Duck Choo-Chee. The menu is extensive so there is allot to choose from!
Both dishes were very tasty and didn't disappoint. The duck was nice and crispy and cooked separately from the curry sauce.
Best thai food in myrtle beach, their Thai tea is great as well.
Always a good lunch option
Seriously delicious food! I ordered the Panang curry dish and it was the BEST tasting Thai dish that I have had in a long time. We are only visiting MB for a short time and I'm already asking my husband when to take me there again before we leave. Check this place out!
Wow, so amazing will go again!
