This is a very small place. We were driving around Christmas Day and they were open when many others weren't. Don't let it fool you. This is the real deal Thai cuisine. The green papaya salad is one of the best I've had anywhere. If you like Thai food you will not be disappointed here. The people are very friendly as well and the prices are reasonable, comparatively with the region. We'll definitely be back
What a terrific lunch spot! The restaurant felt like a street Cafe with the comfort of air conditioning. Large monitors showed street scenes, adding to the fun atmosphere. The smells emanating from the kitchen had me craving everything on the menu.
The wonton soup was hot and fragrant with crisp carrots and tasty wontons. The curry puffs were flaky and crisp, with a hearty amount of filling.
The staff was very attentive and helped us navigate the spice level options to get the perfect heat in each dish.
Hands down best Thai food in the Greater Charleston area. It's a small place, but not small on flavor. Must haves are their currys, my favorite is the Green Curry with shrimp. Mild to Medium spice only for me, just enough heat to enjoy. Hot here = 🔥 🥵, you have been warned.
I've been here several times now, the workers definitely recognize me haha. I've brought in different friends each time and hopefully I'll be able to bring my bf here one day when it comes down to Charleston. Every time I come here the food is delicious! I will for sure be coming here or ordering take out from here once a month at the very least! These photos are from the times I've come here and tried something different.
Very nice and authentic Thai food, an opinion from a foodie Fr Houston TX, where food scenes are fierce, this restaurant got their food down good.
We ordered a bunch of dishes from several visits, and everything was great.
My very picky 3.5 year old toddler loves his pad soon eww.
Their staffs and owner was so friendly and helpful. I'm so glad y'all here, this is my go to spot when I want Thai food now, not going back to Thai Basil anytime soon, with their bad attitude and snobby way of
Dealing w customers.
Thank you for offering great Thai food here in MPT.
I wish you best of luck w your business.
Very good Thai food. Best curry I've had
It's alright. Food is american-thai, and better than most places that do food like that, but I prefer authentic Thai. Service was good. Atmosphere comfortable.
The honey duck was lacking pineapple and the duck was chewy, very dry and extra crunchy. The papaya salad had no papaya. This place has gone down hill in food quality in a Big way!
Our meals were delicious and came fast after ordering delivery on their website. Thanks!
We visit this restaurant every time we go to Charleston. There are just a few tables inside, but don't let that deter you. The food is phenomenal
Some of the best Thai food we've ever had! Really nice people, too. Definitely worth checking out

We go monthly when our son is in town. My wife likes Honey Duck and our son orders Crispy Duck. Pad Thai appears to be popular.
We ordered take out. The pineapple fried rice. There was not one single piece of pineapple in the fried rice and it was so dried out, we had to add water and reheat to get some kind of moisture to the dish. Last two times we’ve been there, the food was subpar. Will not go back considering two dishes were $50.
Great food and great staff
Awesome food and service.
Hate to leave a negative post but when I walked in the front door, I saw the “chef“ in the kitchen eating with her fingers out of a bowl right on the chopping board next to the hot or cold bar.
I grabbed a menu and left, part of me definitely wanted to say something just for the room good.
So, I went to the other side of the plaza to my trusted Bon Banh Mi.
One of our favorite restaurants & our favorite place for Thai! Everything we’ve tried has been delicious!
Everyone at this restaurant are Fantastic! They are truly lovely. If you want to experience True Thai food and dishes then come here. A simply Beautiful place with a very big heart. A True Thai cuisine restaurant.
Best Massaman Curry I've had in years. The dish had just the right amount of spice heat with a large amount of chicken. The flavor was fresh, fragrant and comforting. I couldn't stop eating! We placed a large take out order and every meal was delicious! Thanks!

Great place! Loved the Drunken Noodles!
Pad Thai with chicken was excellent! So was the red curry. A little noisy from the open kitchen but that made it more authentic
We were in the area for vacation and decided stop by for a lunch after seeing online reviews. Unfortunately our experience was completely different from other reviews here. First, a/c was not working efficiently, so they kept back door opened in 97 F hot summer day. We ordered Yellow and Green curry, when they brought order on table, both curry looks same (both in yellow color) and taste same, when we called server/cook then they argued and tried to convince us that Green curry looks and tastes like Yellow curry. Can you believe that? We eat Thai food more than 1000's times, never seen Green curry looks and tastes like Yellow curry. We also ordered Thai Fried Rice which was basically white rice (which they served on side) with few spices and light vegetables, nothing else. This is the worst Thai Food ever ate so far.
Delicious! We love trying Thai food and we're from out of state, the food was great and the service was quick. Zero complaints!
Excellent authentic Thai food!! Always a great meal and service.
Amazing Thai food! Great service, fast, friendly, authentic, highly recommend & will return if I ever find myself in Charleston.
Great Thai food and the nicest staff ! Very kid friendly. Highly recommend.

Love dining here.
Great restaurant and great service! One of my favorite restaurants in Mount Pleasant
Made it to the place because of a red signal when I saw the board and instantly carved thai. Amazing discovery!
They were about to close, but made me a steaming bowl of tom kha, and I was amazed at the vegetarian options they had!
Being the only customers in the shop that time, we enjoyed the Taylor Swift songs with snippets of beautiful Thailand on their tv screen. They understood mild very well, and gave me a spice box on the side.
The lady who served us was so nice, The best experience and the best Thai food I have ever had!
Highly recommend the place, for it's people, food and authenticity
The food is amazing and the service is always excellent! We go there at least once a month.
We love this Thai place while we were out of town. There were plenty of options. It was very clean and tidy. The staff were very kind and friendly and attentive.
FANTASTIC! Pork Pad Thai ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Update: my wife and I went back today, this place is amazing! Go ahead and get the Pork Pad Thai (hot or you ain’t living right!). Chicken wings are great as well!
Authentic, tasty, and inviting! Would absolutely visit here again!
Excellent food and speedy delivery. The pad thai was delicious with lots of flavor! We added on the Sweet and Sour Chicken. Sometimes places have soggy veggies (overcooked) loved how these were still crunchy.
Great food! Dine in area is basic and small but clean and fairly comfortable.
I've been here several times now, the workers definitely recognize me haha. I’m so happy this place opened by my house, I go here at least a couple times a month! It’s always delicious, you always see the same great people working there. My friends and family all love it. They have a less expensive smaller portion lunch menu which I think is nice, and they are very accommodating to vegan/gluten free requests.
Just want to update to say that we went there on Valentine’s Day, and it was so great! They were prepared for the rush, they were super fast and accurate as usual even though I could see the to go orders were stacking up! They decorated the restaurant, everyone was dressed in red and pink, and they gave us a cute little complimentary doughnut dessert. I love this place!
Amazing food, service and they are dog friendly on their patio.
Got the lobster ramen which was incredible and their Tom kha broth is the best I’ve had in Charleston.
Most authentic Thai food ive had since I left Thailand. I'm shocked this place doesn't have 5 stars. It's exceptionally clean, the food is amazing, and the service is excellent. Order the spicy basil!
Best Thai in Mount Pleasant! We always order pad Thai and pad se ew ! One time the delivery guy didn’t drop off our food, and the owner personally reached out and fixed the situation. I wouldn’t order from anyone else.
Delicious but undercooked. Was so excited after finding this place. Enjoyed yellow curry dishes but the potatoes are never soft-seem to be undercooked. After four visits and same issue we’ve given up. 😞 Service is ok. Portion size is just ok for the price but is too expensive to gamble again.
This is my favorite Thai place in town. I probably eat here at least once a week. My favorite thing on the menu is the Chicken Pad Thai - I like mine spicy! My boyfriend loves the Pad See Ew
Delicious food. Super friendly service. Would def come back!
Best Thai in the Lowcountry.
Food is wonderful - certainly the best Thai in the Charleston area, and since that isn’t saying much i’ll add that it is excellent by any standard.
Staff is wonderfully friendly - which I find a bit of a rarity in a small and (mostly?) take out restaurant. It isn’t just a superficial friendliness, they are warm and humorous.
I give a 3 for atmosphere since this is a brightly lit, 6 or 7 small table utilitarian space, sharing the kitchen. But what more do you need or want when the food and the service are so nice?
Highly recommend!
We’ve ordered takeout from here twice in the same week (which we do not often do). We picked different dishes each time, and everything has been very, very good. We will be back to try sit-down dining next!
We stop by here after visiting the Sullivan Beach for Dinner. I think it is a family owned business. I really enjoyed their cooking. The food was very delicious. We never had duck pad Thai before so it was our first time. We also got some Sake for drinks as it was a little chilly out. The Sake sure warm us up fairly quickly. We definitely will be back when we’re in town.
We loved everything! Pad Thai, pad woon sen, yakisoba, chicken satay, chicken larb! Excellent!
Got takeout of Crispy Spring rolls and Massaman Chicken Curry. Came to $28 but was ready in 10 minutes. Solid Thai food! I like the rolls the best honestly.
Very nice place and good Thai food.
100/100 best authentic Thai food in South Carolina. Beautiful and trendy atmosphere. Crispy duck pad Thai is heavenly. Shrimp curry is flavorful the balance of sweet spicy and creamy was top tier. You have earned a loyal customer. I highly recommend it to everyone and l will be back with family and friends.
The food is delicious and the atmosphere is comfortable, even the kid loves it!
Top five Thai restaurant that have eaten at. Food was sinfully delicious. They know their spice level also (get it as hot as you like).
What is up with the Bobo Tea!? I can't believe I spent eight years in Hawaii, and never tried the Bobo Tea. My wife tells me they call it Bubble Tea in HI. You must go in and at least try the Bobo Tea...drop some Red Curry off at my house when you are done!!
Only possible complaint would be not much room for seating. I imagine there is a wait at dinner time. Loved it though.
Staff was super nice and food was exactly how we wanted it along with great timing.
Food was delicious but service was not very good and it was very hot inside. I think it is meant for takeout and not dining in
Very nice and authentic Thai food, an opinion from a foodie Fr Houston TX, where food scenes are fierce, this restaurant got their food down good.

Jasmine Thai is the best in town!
We are from the DC area and are use to very authentic Thai food, and this place is the real deal!
We ordered an array of dishes to try and everything was delicious! My favorite was the fried Snapper dish with ginger sauce- sweet, spicy and the
de-boned filets of fried fish were perfectly crispy!!
Yum! Going back today to dine in again!
So thankful I found this place!
Beautiful restaurant with delicious food and extremely kind staff. This is the next Charleston hot spot!!
Super nice and friendly staff and food was so fresh and amazing.
Delicious food. Friendly staff. Highly recommended!!
Obsessed with this place - my parents and I love Jasmine Thai. Food is hot and fresh and it never disappoints. We always leave full and happy - how it should be!
Really great place! Super quick service and staff was so kind. The food was delicious and very big portions. Will be coming back again!
It's a small authentic restaurant. If you like real Thai food then that's the place to go.
Small place but good food
We eat here quite frequently and always enjoy it. Tonight we tried the angry edamame for the first time and it was delicious. I had the chicken basil fried rice spiced hot. It was great and the service is always good. I had iced tea and it was over $3.50 which I think is a little high. Next time I’ll stick with water.
Great food and service. When a dish was left off our order they brought it quickly and were very friendly
Great red curry.
Amazing food and staff. Definitely recommend.
People are so welcoming!! Loved how cozy and cute the restaurant was
Service was decent. The food was awful. My husband had the spicy snapper. All he could taste was sugar. I had the Thai basil, all sugar, no basil. Overwhelmed with sweet. It was worse than a cheap all you can eat Chinese food in a dilapidated strip mall, with the high price tag.
BUYER BEWARE. Pathetic excuse for an entree size. We are deeply disappointed in the service and food here. We ordered ginger beef and Thai basil chicken and received containers that were half full. We were also charged an additional $10 for brown rice. For $160, it was simply NOT WORTH IT. We even called to make sure we had the correct size order and the person on the phone was unapologetic and rude. Take your business to Pattaya. We won’t be back.
I am so disappointed that I'm having to write this but it must be done.
My husband wanted Pad Thai on a whim ( I usually make it myself, I'm a professional cook) so I looked up best Pad Thai in Mount Pleasant and the reviews were very good for your restaurant.
He picked it up along with the Crispy Duck Salad for myself.
By the time he got it home it was barely warm so I opened it up to in order to reheat it gently in the microwave. I was shocked to see what was in front of me. A pile of dark noodles, clearly they'd been saturated in some kind of fish sauce, which I could hardly taste and Hosian sauce. There were a few soggy bean sprouts and a dry, juiceless wedge of lime.
There was no basil, egg or chopped peanuts..This pseudo, and that's putting it midly, the absolute worst excuse for Pad Thai Ever! Nothing authentic about it.
DON'T ORDER the Pad Thai.
The Crispy Duck Salad had a good flavour, there was nothing crispy about the duck and the lettuce was soggy.. To respond to your comment, I said yours tastes like hoisan not that I used hoisan.. Cilantro is usually used over basil.. Which was not included. Where were the eggs and the pnuts? I checked both my Thai cookbooks, written by Thai's. I stand by my comments.
The soup I received was full of fat. Had to throw it out. Awful. It's hit or miss there.
Jasmine Thai is fantastic! We’ve ordered in, or taken out twenty times by now…and they’ve never let us down! Portions are great, food is high quality and fresh, and prices are reasonable. We are lucky to have them!
Disappointed. The papaya salad was tasteless, with not much papaya and large chunks of iceberg lettuce and tomatoes. The calamari was heavily breaded. The spring rolls were tasteless. The jumbo garlic shrimp was overcooked and rather plain. My son and daughter-in-law liked their noodle dishes, so there's that.
Excellent hot piping food served within 10 minutes of arrival.
Just like home cooked meal. Highly recommend drunken noodles and glass noodles soup.
Plenty of South East Asian cuisine to choose from. Family of 4 returns happy on a cold winter night.
$$
This is a great spot for a quick bite to eat, the crispy duck was out of this world and the decor and vibe is fantastic. Definitely a must go to spot.
Great food and reasonable price.
They make great fresh and authentic Thai!
Very cute! Loved the crispy noodle curry dish! I need to go back to try the pad Thai.
Excellent Food must try
Fresh rolls and salad were so good! Really great table service! Friendly staff
Sub par Thai, If you’ve ever been to Portland Oregon and had Thai food you would never eat Mount Pleasant Thai again. It’s Mt Plastic Thai, not the real deal at all.
The smell was so delicious when you walked in 🥰 So welcoming. The shrimp wantons pan fried were very yummy! And I did go sweet spicy with the angry edamame. The chicken I’d say is very bland with no flavor despite the Teriyaki sauce it was in. So I’d go with something besides the chicken for some good bold flavors that were in the other menu items
Definitely would recommend
We enjoyed our meal and the staff was very nice. The food portions were perfect but it was saltier than we would've liked.
The pad thai was tasty but had very few veggies in it. It wouldve been better with more veggies and the chicken. We waited about 40 to 45 min for a table.
Small, cozy, intimate. Great food and presentation.
absolutely incredible, everything was so great. I went with my family and everyone loved it, the food was incredible and the service was wonderful, absolutely recommend if you live in the area or are visiting. I'd give it 1000 stars if I could :)
Emersive and delicious experience! Bous was our server, she is very attentive and friendly. The food is rivaled to my current favorite Thai restaurant of anywhere I've been (Thai is my favorite.) The atmosphere is cozy and airy with a very welcoming feel. We will be back!
Really have loved this spot since it first opened. The fresh spring rolls, snapper, papaya salad, and noodle dishes have been so flavorful and good sized portions! Bright and airy inside decor. Quick with cooking the food too.
I frequently eat Thai food and the food here was very subpar. Fried rice was especially disappointing. Ordered no spice and received a very spicy meal. Not worth ordering from here again.
My wife and I are Thai food addicts.
This place is legit, good food and quality ingredients, really sweet and friendly staff and good prices.
If you want to taste the real Thai flavor you must come here!
I almost never take the time to leave reviews but we absolutely loved this place. Super friendly service, really generous portions for a fair price, and the food was incredible. Our new favorite Thai place in town!
Really great Thai spot, very nice ownership! I really enjoyed the crab rice, as well as both of the snapper dishes! Highly recommend that you try if you are interested in this type of food!
Very good food, ample portions, and an extensive menu. Prices are quite reasonable compared to comparable restaurants. We’ll definitely go back.
I’ve ordered from this place several times and everything that I have had has been wonderful.
Also, quick service, friendly staff, reasonable prices and portions that always allow leftovers :)
really good food! a little pricey, but worth it to go there every so often
Awesome pad Thai and fresh spring rolls.
The owners are so sweet and food is just as good. Get the red curry! Yum.
Wish I could get my money back. Poor quality food, felt like airport thai.
Very good vibes and great food.
Been to Thailand four times. As good as any Thai food I’ve ever had.
(Authentic). Super friendly and fast.
My first and last time. Not only overpriced food but very poor selection of ingredients.
I ordered the glass noodle soup and it was mostly a watery broth with 2 little shrimp and 3 small pieces of something looking like chicken, 2 tiny pieces of cabbage leaf and a few small slices of carrot. Then it came the green curry I ordered with shrimp. I got no shrimp, and a few green beans, bamboo shoots and a couple of green pepper slices in a coconut based sauce. An extremely overrated small joint that probably only exists because it’s the only Thai (?) place around. Don’t get taken!!!
Delicious!! Already dreaming of my next meal here.
Take out only but they have a porch to eat it on.
This place has the most amazing Thai that itll make you slap your mamma. I order the Pad See Ew all the time and every time it just keeps getting better. Its unbelievable. Best noodles on the planet. Way better than Basil (but Basil is still good :)).
Have eaten on the patio and had takeout - both times the food was great! Lots of vegan and vegetarian options, choose your own spice level, good portion sizes. Definitely coming back soon!
I love this restaurant! The pad Thai is super delicious and it’s the best I’ve had in Mount Pleasant. The staff is super friendly too! I definitely recommend checking it out if you’re in the area.
Best Thai in Charleston! So fresh… nicest kitchen staff and classy vibe!
My new go-to Thai restaurant in the Charleston area. Great vegan options. If you like the option of having your Thai actually spicy, this is the place.
I’ve been ordering beef pad thai from them a couple times now and it always comes out fresh and delicious every time. I live a bit far from their location but I always order here when I’m craving for pad thai. Definitely worth a trip for!!!
Excellent Thai food! I lived in Thailand for 7 years when I was younger, and anywhere I visit or live I always try all the Thai restaurants. I was here in Mount Pleasant for 4 weeks and tried several places. Jasmine Thai makes terrific authentic dishes. The owners are lovely and care about their customers. I highly recommend them.
What an awesome addition to our neighborhood! Sweet people, delicious food! :) Try the pad Thai and tell them you want it spicy with Chicken and Shrimp, yum y’all!
Tried this place on a whim and ordered 4 dishes for my family. Everything was extremely delicious! Good portions, friendly staff and quick service.
I got the Ka Pow two nights ago and it was awesome! Just the right amount of kick…BRAVO!!
The food was amazing and the staff is lovely! This is one of the very few restaurants in Charleston that will make their dishes properly spicy if you want.
One of the best Kao Soi ever had, all the food is very authentic and all of the staff is Thai. Amazing thai food, I used to live in Thailand. I will be back over and over again.
Really tasty Thai food! I ordered pick up through the restaurants website, it was user friendly & easy. The person who gave me my pick up order was very sweet. The tofu appetizer, tofu pad Thai, shrimp pad Thai and mango sticky rice dessert were really good. I was surprised to see some of the negative reviews, I had a great experience!
Amazing service, quality, and all for a good price
All the dishes we had were very good. The yellow curry is absolutely delicious. Wish I could find yellow curry this good in North Carolina.
They wouldn’t let us sit inside and asked us to sit in the RAIN at the outside tables even tho they had all empty 30 tables inside! what kind of nonsense place is this? They act like they closed all tables bc of covid yet weren’t even wearing masks. Hypocrites in my opinion. Avoid at all cost
Love the food and the staff!
Food is excellent and service was even better, is a small place but definitely recommend..
Friendly people
Best Thai in Mt Pleasant and it’s not even close.
Great Thai food, delightful staff, super clean.
delicious food and friendly staff! love grabbing lunch to go from here.
After i called & placed an order and came to pick it up it was given to another customer all because “he orders here all the time.” The lady who took my order confirmed that she talked to me & that she never got a called from customer & still gave it to him. I won’t be ordering from here ever again & i suggest you don’t either. Go order at a place where they keep handle business & your money the right way.
Great food. Very clean dining room. The vegetables were so fresh, service was great. A great new alternative place to eat in Mt Pleasant.
Delicious! So fresh, wonderful flavor. Wonderful service.
Average Thai. Curry was thin and kinda tasteless. Should have been half the price for quality of food
I am extremely disappointed and angry at this restaurant! Last week I thought I found one of the best Thai restaurants around but I was wrong! I ordered the papaya salad which was really good, the way I like it. I also ordered a red curry tofu stirfry which was also good. So I decided this place is one of the best! WRONG!!! I called them and ordered the Yaki soba noodle and Thai fried rice two days ago. What a disaster! That woman and her cook made the yakisoba noodles so sweet I thought I was eating candy! It was disgusting! The Thai fried rice was not even Thai fried rice. The rice was raw and not evenly coated and not even Thai hot. It wasn’t even Thai fried rice. I spent over $33 and it was absolutely a waste of my money!!!! I will never ever go back to this place again! They called them selves jasmine Thai kitchen! What a wonderful name for A restaurant but it does not live up to what it advertises on its menu! Go to taste of Thai in West Ashley instead, or even Thai east fusion on international Boulevard. I’m so disgusted beyond words! Never again at this place! Order with caution or go elsewhere like I recommend!
Ingredients were fresh and flavors authentic.
Amazing! Just had it for the first time and it’s the best Thai food we have ever had. Looking forward to returning often!
Had a great dinner from here! We had 2 apps: steamed gyoza and chicken satay—both great. Entree we had red curry and pad kee mao. Loved it all & will be back!
The best Thai in Mount Pleasant. Vegetarian friendly too!
Amazing food! Had the crispy duck and it was off the hook good!! Best Thai in the area by far!!
Excellent!
Excellent! Very fresh and super tasty. Chicken Panang, pad See ew, pork gyoza and crispy spring rolls all superior to offerings of other competitors in the Mt pleasant area. Also - 15 minute ‘order to pickup’ time. Very reasonable price point as well.
