I'm new to the area and had a craving for PHO, and Fire Bowl Asian Grill was unfortunately the only place around that offered the dish. I ordered 3 items off their menu and was very disappointed. I personally travel around alot and have tried PHO all over the east coast and FBAG's version is by far the worst that I've had. The broth is flavorless, the noodles are either broken or chopped, and the ingredients do not meet any typical standards, from what my experiences have been. I also ordered spring rolls, and what was supposedly suppose to be spicy chicken wings, and each item was definitely as bland as the previous one. The food was also a bit pricey, and that made the experience even worse. Do not waste your money on this place.
The food was tasty and the service was absolutely wonderful. When I go into Asian restaurants I often feel out of place. Mainly because I don't want to offend anyone. I really enjoy the food but I don't always know the proper protocol for eating the cuisine.
I went with my father this time and we were welcomed warmly. It wasnt loud and the space was basic at most. Basic 4 legged cushion chairs, table with a menu. I dont know how long they were there but a flower on the table or some pictures could help liven the atmosphere. Unless the goal is to keep people ordering out i think a little more thought would help the dining.
But where the dining lacked the food made up for it. The portion sizes were reasonable and the food was delicious. They do not have fountain drinks so everything is bottled. But they did help by allowing you to pour it into a glass. (Fancy LOL)
I didnt try the boba, or bubble tea. I was told that is is delicious. I did see someone order one and the portion sizes were HUGE! maybe ill try it if I come back.
Overall I did enjoy my experience. Would I go back again... maybe to take someone who likes Aisian cuisine but on my own, I didn't really have anything that would draw me back.
Their pho, only one in town, is a must eat item. Not the very best but I travel but for here well they’re the only ones that I know of that offers it. Only critique for the pho was the meat wasn’t the common thinly sliced beef and always cooked beforehand than more traditional route from my experience is they give you really thin raw meat and putting into the broth to cook it super freshly.
I also had their Pad Thai. Which in my experience I also had when traveling so I know good pad thai. This was mushy… still ok for what the city had to offer. Would I buy this again and again, compared to maybe a few others that offer it, yes. The rice noodles to me just felt microwaved / reheated from a batch. Microwaved noodles always turn to mush and takes away a lot of the texture. Texture for me is a big deal to the overall experience. Granted this is not fine dining but for the cost I would say this is worth $12, no more than that. Also the pad Thai lacked the sauce made for the recipe, so it’s mushy and lacked flavor to the rice noodles, being too dry which is common if it’s reheating , especially in a microwave noodles. I would still support them they are lovely family business. Loved the pho again.
Delicious delicious!! The dishes were all so good and The milk tea is fun and tasty. Wonderful new owners! First night we had house milk, strawberry, mango and brown sugar milk tea, edamame plan and spicy, tofu pho, general tso chicken, beef lomein wok toss, beef classic Chinese all soo good! Today for lunch Thai and Taro milk tea, rangoons, beef teriyaki, fried Tofu ginger white wine, all very delicious. Food has great flavors great sauces.
We both enjoyed our Pho soup. Gracious searving of broth, veggies and tofu. You can choose a meat for your protein instead of tofu if you prefer.
We got bobas, general tso’s chicken, steak pho, chicken wings and the fire bowl fried rice with chicken. The chicken wings were so deliciously fried that it was still very moist on the inside. The general tsos was also crispy with a good heat, like the heat that makes your nose runny but you keep eating since it is just so tasty. The pho was enjoyable and hit the craving my husband was having and the bobas are a sweet reward after the heat. They just opened and I’m looking forward to going back for more.
The food is so average. If you place this restaurant in a competition with asian restaurants, they would be dead last. The pho was mediocre, and the pork egg rolls was more veggies than pork. The pad thai was decent, but the wrong kind of noodles they used. It can impress average people who don't know real asian food, but asians would be very disappointed, even outrage. It's not a good place.
Totally worth the price. The best boba, fantastic noodles! The restaurant could use some music instead of someone's games on their phone.

Nice to be able to get pho here! Brings different Asian foods to the area!
Best Asian food around hands down!! Love their food always fresh very clean place.Great service people are so nice.
Comida 100% agradable y un buen servicio
first time having asian food and man let me tell ya, best food i’ve had in awhile!!!!!
Fire bowl is a great restaurant if you're looking for a cheap lunch.
Great service great food highly recommend this place.

Delicious, great Pho. The wings r delightful, crunchy n hot inside, yum yum. Passion fruit boba is 🔥
Love the Honeydew Boba, always a favorite. Tried the Taro boba too, loved both but they add too much sugar. I had to water mine down initially, but when I reordered and told them light on the sugar it was SO much better. Taro was so sweet it tasted like fruit loops cereal, to some it may be great like that but was not to me. Also the boba is decent, but flavorless. I wish they had brown sugar boba, its absolutely perfect taste wise. My one boba tea, the boba turned into a big ball of goop. I was wondering why it wouldn't come out and opened the cup and saw all the boba stuck together. Regardless a decent place for boba since its the closest one and I have no choice lol
Great food, a lot of it too. Service was fast. Very clean and nice atmosphere
the only place in hazleton you can get boba!! delicious!
edit: they recently changed their boba recipe, its now very gross. despite being the only place in hazleton to get boba, im going to stop ordering here.
they used to take requests as well, id ask for no ice because i hate a watered down drink. they no longer do this, and i get watered down icy drinks every time. my partner used to ask for no tapioca because he liked milk tea but not the actual boba, they no longer do that.
im so disappointed in the decline in quality, i absolutely loved this place and usually order about 6 times per week. :(

Nice Asian food restaurant. Somewhat expensive but the portions are large.
Very pleasant experience with helpful staff and very excellent food. The unique drink options has me returning as well.

Party of 4 dined in. We had appetizers, soup, and we each had a different meal. We all enjoyed our meals and thought the food was very fresh. Will return.
The food was delicious and the service was great. Strongly recommend the pho and Pad Thai, it’s definitely one of the best Asian restaurant locally. We had a great experience with the service and the food over here!! And they also have boba, me and family enjoyed a lot in here!!
Its some of the better Asian food round Hazleton
ข้าวผัดอร่อย
Great food!!

Definitely yess. Recommend 💯
Food was awesome. Slightly confusing your first time there. Service was not bad but hard to understand. New look of business is really nice
great food, great menu variety. good for meat eaters and vegetarians alike. this place deserves more attention. recommended.
The food comes out nice n hot, a generous portion and very very tasty! I keep coming back for more!
Coming from a pho-lover, this pho is top 10% of pho that I’ve tried (over 50 places visited for reference). People who say the beef is bland just simply never had pho before. The broth flavors and personal-favorite additives (sriracha, etc.) are what flavor the steak. If you are new to pho, pho is very refreshing and light, and NOT the same or close to ramen. Different noodles, different flavors, different additives. For the portion you get, it’s definitely worth the money. I would even love to see a little bigger size for $18-$20. All n’ all, I would highly recommend trying this! Don’t hate the food, hate your taste buds, plain and simple.. :) 👍🏼
Friendly staff. Good food. Clean dining room. Affordable prices.
I'll give this food a 5-star rating. I got the spicy shrimp soup, seaseme chicken w/ white rice and my all time favorite ❤️ was the shrimp spicy pai tai.........
" EXCELLENT "
"My first online/delivery order....I'm Buddah happy aft this meal..... for an appetizer I had the Seaweed salad, steak pho soup, and the fire bowl fried rice with chicken followed by a Boba milk Thai Ice Tea. Everything was so delicious, the sweetness of the Seaweed salad, the taste buds danced when they met the pho soup, plenty of tender thin steak and plenty fresh Thai basil and scallions. The Thai fried rice and chicken had just the right amount of heat that I couldn't slow down eating since it is just so Asian tasty. The portions were very generous. The entire meal was so enjoyable and I'm thrilled that we now have a 5-star Asian restaurant here in downtown Hazytown. I’m looking forward to my next tasty dine-in at the Asian Fire Bowl....... maybe try the mango cake for dessert. Thanks FB personal "). See ya's soon.
I think I found a new favorite resturant! Food is really good but the best part is they have boba!!!!! I still remember the first time I had boba. It was 2017 at a little shope in Ocean City, NJ. Got this purple drink just because it looked cool. Fell in love with taro. Ever since I've been looking for it, and have purchased drinks, but it doesn't taste the same in a can. Then i tried the taro tea from Fire Bowl....same great taste I remembered....in fact, it's better!!!!! There's no other places to get boba around here. I hope this place stays around and I wish the great success. I'll be a regular.
We got General Tzo, "vermicelli" Singapore, dumplings, and spicy soup, all of which was bland. The main dishes contained little to no vegetables (ie one broccoli in the gen tzo). Very disappointing.
Had the sweet and sour chicken. It wasnt sweet nor sour. It was simply bland.
Amazing food! Quick and friendly service. Awesome pho! Best General Tso’s ever!
Perfect!!! Food came out hot and the chicken was amazing. Crunchy on the outside and juicy inside!!! Can't find that anywhere else
Buen fho sopa, rico
Very tasty and fresh. Boba was fresh and creamy. Summer rolls with peanut sauce and crab rangoons were perfect. Tasted homeade.
All varieties of PHO we had, steak, meatball, and shrimp were served in large bowls piping hot with plenty of meat. Served with fresh basil, lime and standard sidrs. Big portions at a great price. Want to come back amdntry somenother diahes.
Average Pho place but I'll give it another chance. And I did ...not good.
I LOVE THE FOOD. SO GOOD. BEST FRIED CHICKEN AND PLEASE TRY THAI BASIL FRIED RICE SOOOO GOOD. THEY ARE SUPER SWEET PEOPLE. ALWAYS CLEAN AND DELICIOUS FOOD. 😋 😍 😌 👌 🤗 ☺️
Warm inviting atmosphere. They answered any questions I had about the food
Had the Pho, and it was best had in long time.
Get the general tso’s chicken! So good
I used to live in NYC for 20+ years and I'm so HAPPY and to my surprise to find this place, so AUTHENTIC & DELICIOUS in Hazleton, PA.
It's nowhere less than good Asian restaurants in Asian community in NYC.
非常,非常正宗好吃
Pho and fried rice - Super!
Wontons are good
Called for delivery and they tell me only pickup.
The food was terrific! Great atmosphere, and service.
ordered the general tsos and the thai iced tea, both were fresh and very tasty! would order again!
Stopped in tonight 11/18/22 for dinner as we've been wanting Pad Thai and there are precious few places to get it locally. We were very pleased with the experience and the food. The servers were attentive without being overbearing and the food was exceptional, better than many places we've been in the "big cities". I got the shrimp and my wife got the chicken. Both had surprisingly generous portions of protein, crisp vegetables, and just the right amount of seasoning. They even prepared my wife's dish without cilantro, as she's one of those people to whom it tastes like soap. I love the stuff, personally. ;-) Would highly recommend, and we'll definitely be back.
awesome fat guy recommends
Very good food. Very nice staff; very welcoming. Excellently prepared, great taste. Look forward to returning
Really good boba!
Boba was great.
Pho was very flavorful and filling! Definitely recommend!
5/5 Review, Very nice restaurant and employees are very kind and genuine. Best Mango boba tea I’ve ever and I kept the amazing cup too. Would definitely recommend this spot #I’llBeBack #Bussin
This place is amazing!!! The food was great and the staff were very nice, genuine people. I also had the matcha boba and it was sooo good. Overall this place is definitely a 10/10 and I would recommend to everybody!!!
Nice staff, just not a fan of the food. My husband and I are those who like to try new things just upsetting that we spent $70 on cold food. Bubble tea was okay just had weird tapioca balls in there.
I order through Grubhub, first time trying this place, and it was the worst Chinese food I have ever had. I order Szechuan and garlic chicken. There was a total of 3 pieces of chicken in the bowl, it was the most bland flavor no Szechuan or garlic. I’ll never eat here or order from here again. You should close if you call that Chinese food. Worst experience ever would rate overall 0 do not try you’ll just waste your money. Wish I could give zero stars don’t even deserve the one star
A little bit pricey but food was absolutely delicious specially the pho
Steak pho is delicious
Food was terrible and overpriced! Pho tasted like dishwater, spring rolls were inedible, pad Thai was bland. Horrible experience
The best of the best very tasty oh lord everything is soooo good
Great place to eat and have a good time with friends and family.
Ordered the steak pho. Beef had no flavor, and the broth was basically water. No flavor whatsoever and just lazy. I would have been happier staying home and making cup noodles.
This new restaurant in the Hazleton brings a much needed Asian Spicy into the area. Their crispy orange chicken has excellent flavor and just enough spicy kick to feel some sweat along your hair follicles. They also have great pho soup and other Vietnamese and Asian fusion dishes. In addition, they have a selection of bubble teas drinks for the lovers of tapioca pearls like myself. Great job guys, excellent food and great service.
You ever eat food so good you want to cry? this. By the gods, THIS. The fried rice I ordered is divine. The crab rangoons? IMMACULATE. Do you want to ascend from eating food alone? This. THIS IS THE PLACE TO GET THAT KIND OF FOOD! Also the bubble tea is good! Its got a cute little heart bit to stop your tear from spilling when you pick up you meal. Wonderful place to eat.
I just got back from eating here with my mom. Excellent little place! Friendly staff, cozy dining room (not a euphemism, actually cozy) and delicious, high-quality food. I got the steak pho and chicken wings. The pho was delicious and the portion generous like you'd expect. Maybe not the absolute best I've ever had (I need tripe and tendon for that), but very good. The wings were top-tier. Perfectly seasoned, super juicy and I *think* cornstarch breaded but I didn't ask. I'm a professional cook with 15 years experience who fries a mean chicken, and there isn't a single thing I would change about these wings. I can't wait to go back!
The general tso is the best in town after 5 Star changed ownership, the pho is excellent and all the other food I've tried is good. I took away a star because the boba tea is very expensive for the one small size and the Thai tea is powder and taste watered down and had a coconut taste, they are the only milk/boba tea in town so I suppose it's supply and demand but Thai House in Edwardsville and Ding Tea in Bloomsburg definitely have better quality and prices per size for the milk/boba. Other than that the food is really good.
Small place with excellent pho and the best fried rice.
The place is really nice inside and the food is delicious.
Delicious delicious!! The dishes were all so good and The milk tea is fun and tasty. Wonderful new owners! Food was good but the wings were okay
