Malai Kitchen showcases a different side of Southeast Asian cuisine. Led by husband-and-wife team Braden and Yasmin Wages, the concept was inspired by their extensive travels through Thailand and Vietnam. Our team is committed to sourcing quality ingredients and preparing as much as possible from scratch.
First time at Malai Kitchen and it did not disappoint! I was very shocked that I have not came sooner. The food was delicious and savory. The curry I had was the best i’ve ever had. The complimentary rice was amazing and the drunken noodles had so much flavor. Our server was completely knowledgeable on the menu and the seasonal menu and had suggestions that were tempting. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a date night. Prices are premium but very worth it.
The food is phenomenal. Each bite is filled with so much flavor that your mouth and stomach will be so very happy. I gave compliments to the chef, my husband and I enjoyed our meal that much. I think our server had too many tables because the service was a tad slow but the other waitstaff was happy and willing to help out. We had the chicken pad Thai and the broccoli chicken noodles. We will be back soon 😋
Great service and fast. The roti with a side of curry was good but they need to work it as a combo as 15$ for 2 pieces of roti and some curry dipping sauce is expensive. The drunken noodles weren't Thai hot like wanted but she brought some extra Thai spice to help out. The flavor wasn't great and the chicken was sliced very thin so made for a different texture then used to. Would try something else next time to give another chance on flavors.
I came in on a whim while my car was being detailed. I was welcomed in by multiple hosts and sat at the bar for a quick bite. I ordered the Chicken Pad Thai. It was perfectly spiced at a medium level. My first bite had a slight fishy taste as if the kitchen didn't fully clean the pan between dishes, however I did not experience that on any other bites. I was shocked how good the meal was actually. The bartender was super friendly and very helpful with the menu, and offered me a few mocktail options while I can't drink at the moment.
We visited this restaurant on a busy Saturday night and experienced quite a wait — about an hour — to get seated. A notable downside is that once you put your name down, you are not allowed to leave the vicinity of the restaurant, as they can’t text or call you when it’s your turn unless you’re in a group of more than two.
As for the food, we ordered the yellow curry and green curry, which were unfortunately quite average. I wouldn’t recommend the curry dishes here; it seems they haven’t quite mastered those recipes yet.
On a positive note, the atmosphere was pleasant, making for a decent overall experience. However, given the wait and the mediocre curry, I’d suggest exploring other options on the menu.

Good place to get together with friends and family. Children friendly too.
Great service food was delicious on time🔥💪🏼 highly recommend
Wonderful experience at this restaurant. Ask for Mukisa because she is phenomenal. It's great customer service with such a charming personality. The mango sticky rice dessert is a must! Have been in town for 3 days and have been here 3 times!
Amazing food. Nick was our server and he was outstanding. Highly recommend!
Best Pad Khee Mow chicken dish I've ever had. Superb staff. Right mix of great flavors and staff that care. Honestly refreshing and just great food they get it. Convenient parking garage on top of the place too.
My experience at this establishment was exceedingly disappointing. The seating service was disorganized, relying on patrons to wait in close proximity and await their name being called, rather than implementing a buzzer or messaging system. We sat on the bench outside the restaurant, as suggested by the staff, and waited for over an hour, periodically checking in and being informed that our name had not been announced. After an extended wait, I checked in once more, only to be told that our name had already been called. Additionally, the food was underwhelming, lacking the bold and aromatic Thai spices and flavors that we had anticipated. The dishes were unremarkable and not worth the visit. We will be returning to our local Thai restaurant, where the service is courteous, seating is immediate, and the food is served quickly, hot, and delicious.
The sticky rice was good, but the dipping sauce was bland. The ahi tuna tartare was not very good and didn’t taste fresh. The chicken bahn mi was good and bursting at the seams as compared to the average bahn mi. Vermicelli Salad with Lemongrass Chicken was good, but I lacked in greens. I will be back just for more House Pressed Sugar Cane Juice with Ginger and Lime! It was divine and it is something I would go out of my way for on a hot summer day.
A majority of the items they are offer are just much better at places on the east side of Fort Worth.
Great place for dinner !
Loved every bit of this experience. Looking forward to going again.

Have enjoyed this restaurant for a number of years. Tonight’s experience, however, was not up to par. My chair was unstable and coming apart, the menus were nicely bound but the pages were damaged and dirty, food was not what it used to be (which was the biggest issue), and there are no non-alcoholic beer options. Service was attentive, polite, and helpful, but absent & slow at times. The atmosphere remains nice, but some of the furniture is growing tired. It was not the experience that I hoped for my guests.
The food is so good 👍 the service was excellent and the atmosphere was lively but relaxing. We loved it.
I came here not knowing anything about the cuisine or beverages. A gentleman in the bar area by the name of Nathan, helped me out. Not only did he take the time to see what my preferences are but he was able to decide what the best plate and beer to pair it with for me.
He also made some mixed drink that was amazing and I’m not into mixed drinks.
Very rude manager on Friday night. I made a reservation and my party was 10 min late. Manager gave our table away as soon as we arrived. Typical grace period is 15 min. So we went to Mesero instead, much nicer staff there.
Great food and service. It can get loud and packed early so recommend we to have a reservation. Will be back!
Highly recommend: roti, Panang curry, the shrimp hot pot, and the lemongrass beef!
Shout out to Malai Kitchen Clearfork. Lunch was amazing. We shared Seared Tuna Spring rolls, Lemongrass Shrimp Spring rolls and pork meatball Vermicelli salad. We will definitely visit again to try more. Service was excellent as well.
Incredibly difficult to get to this location for deliveries, and the customers never tip. Like I barely get payed anyway, now I gotta navigate to the wealthiest place in town to be treated like trash. Just tell your customers to tip, I guarantee they do in the store but the delivery slaves are just there and don’t deserve any respect.
Arrived early to allow sitting for a family group and was made to wait until ALL were present only to wait another 45 minutes until we decided to go somewhere else. We’d probably be still waiting otherwise LOL
Hostess and manager acted like we were asking them to ask guests to leave - crazy lunatic vibe definitely not coming back!
Delicious Thai food for the American palate, but unfortunately no where close to authentic. Fantastic service and solid vibes.
Malai is one of those places that I good eat at for dinner every night. They have a great selection of appetizers and meal options. Anything can be customized and they can make most of the options vegan. To start, I would recommend the tofu spring rolls or peppers. The best entree is the drunken noodles, but the pineapple fried rice is also delicious. they brew their beer in house and have some awesome cocktails. The servers are awesome, but make a reservation on busy nights.
Looking for the perfect place to enjoy some drinks and Thai food? Malai is the place to go! They have a great selection of beers and plenty of food choices.
I enjoyed a Bia Hoi, which is one of their Vietnamese rice lagers. whose name and style are inspired by a beer famously available on the streets of Hanoi. Delicious!
I went on a weekend and learned they have a brunch option as well, but for this visit, I had the Shrimp Pad Thai. Yum! Oh, and for you Sriracha lovers, their homemade version is amazing!
If the weather is nice, I recommend sitting on their outdoor patio to enjoy the Clear Fork vibe.
Thai and Vietnamese food is traditional bright and full of flavor. This was bland and an added American twist. Order the vermicelli salad and there were tomatoes and bell peppers not usually found in the salad. Also the side dish of dressing and other flavors were not brought out. I asked where it was and that was a point of confusion. The salad was not mixed well with the dressing they applied so the noodles were stuck together. The appetizer was ok. Won't go back when I am looking for this flavor profile.
This place was amazing! Had lunch here today. The drunken noodles were by far the best thing I have tried in the menu so far. I will definitely be back to try more of their amazing scratch made dishes. Highly recommend!
Great food. Crab dip for appetizer and drunken noodles
Initially was given 30 mins wait time. They don’t have text message to let you know when your table is ready. Waited 45 mins over there and saw enough tables were empty but not being sorted. Had to leave. Service is horrible.
We had the lemongrass mussels to start and they were delicious-sooo flavorful! I had the peanut encrusted ruby trout and my husband had the Chang Mai noodles with shrimp. Both fantastic as well and our sever was great.
I really enjoyed the service provided at the bar. Jess was amazing. She definitely understands the meaning of great customer service. The restaurant must have changed the way they make imperial rolls, no longer amazing. Jess was Great!
Customers do not need to see managers coming down on staff.
The food is great, loved the Red Thai curry.
Adjust your level of spice as hot is not that spicy.
I wish I could do 4.5 stars. The food is pretty good. The service and atmosphere are great. Three small changes would get it 5 stars: 1) no pineapple in the yellow curry (that's less common and...meh). 2) The chutney served with the sticky rice does not have much taste. 3) The spring rolls were excellent but let down by the sauce which had very little peanut taste.
Super-friendly and efficient staff. Food was fantastic - fresh ingredients and great flavors.
Malai Kitchen never, ever disappoints! Appetizers, Entrée, drinks, and service are always excellent! Above expectations.
My wife and I had some freedom from the kids during the middle of the day to celebrate our 13 year anniversary. We chose to eat a late lunch at Malai and we were not disappointed. The food was delicious and the service was amazing.
I came in on a whim while my car was being detailed. I was welcomed in by multiple hosts and sat at the bar for a quick bite. I ordered the Chicken Pad Thai. This location was busy and service was hit & miss..the location in Southlake is a lot nicer...especially in terms of service.
Really loved this place. Convenient location makes it easy to get Southeast Asian fare.
I've been here twice now and have been blown away both times. Yesterday, my server Mukisa was attentive, friendly and fun while the food and beer was next-level amazing.
Do yourself a solid and check this place out.
Nick was fantastic. Great service, delicious unique food, great environment. 10/10.
If you're in the mood for a culinary adventure, Malai Kitchen at Clearfork is a delightful option that brings a unique twist to your dining experience with its Thai and Vietnamese fusion cuisine. This place is all about flavor, and it’s sure to tickle your taste buds!
The ambiance is vibrant and inviting, perfect for a fun night out with friends or a casual date. As for the food, it’s a mixed bag of hits and misses. The pad thai is a crowd-pleaser, bursting with flavor and just the right amount of spice. However, the spring rolls were a bit underwhelming—more like a gentle suggestion of flavor rather than an explosion of deliciousness.
Then there’s the dessert—oh, the dessert! The coconut sticky rice with mango is a sweet finale that makes up for any previous missteps. It’s light, refreshing, and just the right amount of indulgent.
Overall, Malai Kitchen is a fun spot that’s worth checking out, especially if you’re up for trying something different. Just be ready for a flavor rollercoaster and don’t hesitate to mix and match the menu items. You might just discover your new favorite dish amidst the culinary adventure.

The BEST Thai around!
I ordered online and I ate at the bar because I was on lunch break. The manager came over and brought us water. She was so nice! I was having a bad day and she was so kind.
Awesome food and drinks for sure!
The best of the best, drinks are always good. Foods is great also, good music, great waiters and the manager are pretty cool.!!!!!!
Food is great but if you want to work here just know the managers show favoritism and go out their way to make sure that your "tasks " are done with the least amount of help possible which spells "Disaster " if you ask me .
Great service and great atmosphere. Had the special … the lamb chops. Lamb is a delicate meat. The dish would have been perfect but it had their homemade siracha sauce on the plate right beside each piece of meat. So you couldn’t even cut the meat without it getting in the siracha sauce. Which overpowered the entire dish. Pretty disappointed. Every other dish I’ve ever had has been top notch.
They don’t offer military discount 🤷♀️ kinda weird I thought
Great waitress, poor management. I assume this establishment has been here long enough that it’s ridiculous they still don’t know how to navigate a busy weekend.
1. 1-hr wait table was given away to a late reservation that made a fuss despite our full party being there and theirs partly missing. The altercation had them walking us back n forth between the table and the front door a few times. When they came to a decision, all they could say was “You heard that right?” (Referring to the conversation of the complaining party annd manager). We kindly but defeatedly gave way. Although seated shortly after, it was the fact that they would ignore their principle of only seating complete parties.
2. Manager Carissa completely ignored our complaints for the unfair situation, avoiding to speak with our table after we asked for the manager and after almost being completely finished with our meal, playing hide n seek, and asking for the 3rd time in the 2hrs were we approached close-mindedly. TLDR her response made us feel like well you shouldn’t think it was unfair sorry but not sorry.
3. Multiple mix up with meals. When corrected, we received 2 replacements that were later charged on the bill. In an effort to fix the mistake, 2nd manager (1st manager long gone and “unavailable” at this point) says they can remove the extra charge but they’d have to take the meal back…..my friend has to take out the boxed meal from her bag and hand it over to this man! Completely absurd because 1. this was the rightfully ordered dish that they had messed up & 2. WHAT kind of policy do they have that they would take back ANY meal and mind you it was already packed in a to-go container. It was a first time experience for the entire table and hilariously crazy.
Second manager finally caves into listening us out after a terrible dining experience with poor service. He was quick to amend the entire experience for us, but it is ridiculous how many hoops and people we had to jump through for us to speak to someone. Meanwhile, the manager was quick to run to the LATE party complaining to be seated asap and another time as they were eating.
-
Clarification: It was not an “additional meal”, y’all messed up the order
I have never ever had this bad of a dining experience in my life.
Long story short, my friends and I had came on a Saturday night and were added to the waitlist. The host said it was going to be at least an hour so we headed across the street to get drinks while we waited. About 40 minutes later, we get a call from malai and they say we have 5 minutes to get to the restaurant for our table. We hurry up and head over, just for them to ask us to leave again because they had a mix up and needed to give our table to a different party. After 10 minutes, we were called back and seated and we asked to speak to a manager because we felt it was unfair for them to have us running around for no reason and we thought it was appropriate to be compensated. Carissa, one of the managers, comes over and we can already tell where her mindset was at. She came into the conversation already saying no and “there’s nothing we can really do, we at least got you seated, the other party made a reservation earlier in advance”. If she actually came to listen, she would have known that was definitely NOT the point we were talking about. We understand mistakes can happen, and yes the other party DID make a reservation and we GREATLY appreciate being seated, but if she had just taken the time to understand, we were more upset they had us rushing to come back and then asked to leave.
On top of all of this, my order and my friend’s order were wrong. We had the option of white, brown, or fried rice with our meals and both chose fried rice. Our meals come out and they were both made with white rice. We wave down the waitress to let her know that we were fine with the white rice, but to make sure we were not charged for the fried rice. She apologized and says they will serve us both fried rice on the side on the house.
Our bills later come out and I am charged for two fried rices….
ON TOP OF THIS, a different manager comes to my friend and tells her that if we want to have the rice taken off our bill, we need to return the rice. How embarrassing for her to have to reach in her bag of foods to find it and hand it to them… for them to later come by and give her the rice back. It wasn’t until the manager saw us writing a one star review they decided to listen to us and compensate us with gift cards. Pure damage control.
My friends who live in Fort Worth were so excited to show us this restaurant and it was such a disappointment. I will never come back again.
Outstanding service at lunch Natalie. The jungle curry had great flavor but was too too too salty.
I love the meekong noodles here but it's only on Fridays before 3! For other meekong noodle lovers who don't make it before 3 o'clock to order them, Thailicious has the same thing and it's called Pad Woo Sen and they serve it all day! 😊
All 3 dishes ordered by my group had curious flavors. It was as if some spices were omitted or changed. The food was still okay tasting, but I would never consider eating here again.
The staff was a little too friendly to the point of being annoying. They were professional, but the fake warmness was a little off putting.
The vibe was okay, though the music did not help.
In total, this place was super white for an Asian restaurant.
This was me and my wife 3rd time dining here. We were unaware of the brunch menu they have. My wife and I ordered the French Toast and the Hoi an Hash, and a Singapore Sling for 2 cocktail. SO MUCH FLAVOR in the hash and the French Toast was so fluffy. The cocktail was very good, and there plenty for both of us to refill our glass. Leslie took great care of us. Love the booth seating BTW.
Hands down best food experience I’ve had in Fort Worth. Absolutely insane flavor, everything we ordered was out of this world. Now I need to go back and try everything else on this incredible menu. 10000000/10 recommend.
Very good place food is so delicious
Finally tried this place for lunch. Awesome. Great atmosphere, service and food. Wife started with the Samosas and then the veggie Green Curry. Samosas didn’t make the picture due to us skipping breakfast. I started with the huge wings then the Bangkok Street Rice for my main. Highly recommend! Malai Kitchen in Clearfork.
Its all great its super cool and the customer service is wonderful every single person is super kind
Great food with a wide and unique selection. Large menu of appetizers, soups/salads, entrees, and drinks. Something for everyone. Try the appetizer sampler. Everything is reasonably priced. Great service and friendly staff. Well laid out with tables booths and an area for parties. Quiet, not noisy. Good happy hour options.
Server was nice, didn’t catch her name. Great food, good portions for the price, amazing atmosphere.
Jess our server was fantastic, the food was hot as it should be and most importantly they make the best Moscow Mule in DFW area.
We have come and will continue to come as long as the service is the same.
Awesome place ..got to try the lemon grass chicken with rice and veggies it was delicious
This place is exquisite. I have yet to try something that I don't like here. If you want something fresh and healthy, the soup is ideal. ❤️ the samosas are so yummy and the drunken noodles. I just adore this spot. They get full on the weekends, so you may have to wait for a table, but it's worth the wait!
My banh mi sandwich was too salty. Every dish we ordered was too salty. The cook that day needs to taste the dishes before sending them out. Overpriced for what you get.
My family and I chose Malai Kitchen to celebrate a special occasion and it exceeded all of our expectations. The staff - a very special thanks to Tony, Bryce and Jess for taking care of our 24-person party - were incredibly friendly, knowledgable and timely. We're so grateful that this team went the extra mile to ensure that we were happy. Thanks so much!
I ordered the Pad See Ewe with beef through Uber Eats. And when I got it I was very excited to try it but as it turned out it was gross. The noodles was ok but the beef tasted nasty like it went bad or something. It smelt and tasted very wierd. I had to pick out the beef so that I can finish it.
If you want American food with those flavors, you'll be fine, if your want authentic food that's actually good, don't go here. I don't even know what their rice crispy dessert with bitter tasting coconut milk was supposed to be, but it wasn't mango sticky rice or any other dessert that I've had in SE Asia.
Thursday evening walked in and got a table immediately. My yellow curry with chicken was fantastic, and the roti was so delicious.
Mukisa was awesome she was super awesome super cool fast listen and very personable hope she is there forever!
Incredibly delicious and exceptionally fresh! The menu mentions they can accommodate most allergies or preferences. For instance, I ordered my vegan curry and rice with tofu, and it was perfect! You can tell it was freshly made. The service was impeccable. Highly recommend this place!
The Ambience was good. Food also taste good. Nice place to enjoy.
Best food in dfw.
Best Thai food in DFW. Outstanding service. ThaiPA microbrew is fantastic
Ordered online for pick up.
1 star because my wife and I had food poisoning from eating at this location.
AMAZING!!!
To start off I would like to compliment our server Wendelly she was very welcoming, energetic, and pleasant we appreciated that!! Now to the food. You are presented with sticky rice to start you off while you browse through the menu. Although this is a kind gesture, I'm not sure that it is the best representation of the food, so I would probably eliminate the serving of that. Nextly, the Drunken noodles are full of flavor, the meat is very tender, and the serving size is enough for two people to eat. The Laksa Lemak is only served on Thursdays as a special. It is packed with flavor every bite is a delight, portion size will definitely fill two people. The Banh Mi is a very good sandwich we had the one with pork. Although it seems simple the way the ingredients come together it gives you the perfect bite. You are given the option to choose your heat level as to how spicy you would like your meal, the caution hot is very hot. I would definitely recommend this restaurant if you are wanting to try something different.
I've had thai food from all around, even eaten homemade thai food. This place puts a focus on the atmosphere and service. The food is not what I've come to except from thai cuisine. For the drive, cost of the food and the longer than average wait time, I'd rather go to a street food style place. I'm sure this place is wonderful if you come in with a curious mindset, but I have certain expectations about cultural staples. The bahn mi was good though.
Best thai food around. Great staff and reasonably priced. We will come back often.
I love Malai Kitchen but unfortunately the past couple times food quality hasn’t been up to the standards that allowed me to fall in love with this establishment. The service is always amazing, the staff is kind and warm, so I’ll continue to return and hope for improvement of meal quality.
Vegans: I’m not confident in their distinction between vegan and vegetarian.
I ordered the bahn mi, asking it be made vegan with tofu. It came out with aioli on it. I asked and they confirmed it was made with eggs and took it back. Then the server returned to say that the tofu would be fried in the same fryer as the chicken. But they confirmed that there was no butter used in the wok-seared vegetables.l, which were excellent.
So, I’m sure they can make dishes vegan but you’ll have to be more clear than I was.
First I'm just going to say that the service here is exceptional. The young man that waited on us did a excellent job and was so friendly and kind. Unfortunately the food leaves much to be desired. First off everything is overpriced. The first time I ever had green curry that had green food color in it. The taste was okay but nothing special. It was actually kind of bland too.
I had a great experience here! The staff is kind and generous, the service was fast and efficient, and the food was incredible. Everything is so fresh and clean, and the portions are generous. I love how they make everything to order, and therefore allow for all sorts of customizing.
One of my favorite places to eat! The food is so fresh & portions are generous. I always get the pad thai but the drunken noodles, lemon grass chicken, and crab dip are also some of my favorites. I have no doubt though that everything on the menu is just as delicious!
I’ve been several times and love the service every time, but most recently, our server, Sophia, was phenomenal. She was attentive, cheerful, and warm.
Place is F I R E.
I really want to like Malai Kitchen. They service is great and it's so easy to work with dietary restrictions; but my food has so far been consistently unbearably over salted. On two separate visits I've had the "Hoi and Hash" and
"Mekong Noodles" both heavily over salted where water breaks were needed to get through it. My guess is too heavy handed with the soy sauce. This second visit my friends' dishes are also over salted so it's not just me. I'm not sure I can come back in hopes my food is edible. It's too bad because the Mango Sticky Rice Smash is delicious
Excellent!!!!!
Zero customer service. Curbside orders are continually made incorrectly. The manager literally started an argument with me. a short-haired manager in a shirt began to threaten me, to which I replied that I would call the police if he touched me. this is the worst service I have ever encountered in my life.
it doesn't matter who I am. this does not give your manager a reason to be rude and threaten me. I asked to know how long I should wait for my order, I value your time, why don’t you value mine? I waited outside twice and heard twice that I had to wait again. I just asked to know the time when my order will be ready, and not to invent it without leaving the counter. in response to which your administrator began to threaten me and approach me at a short distance. Therefore, I think this review is fair and I have never seen worse service.
Love their sampler. Imperial Rolls & Viatnamese Meatballs are just dope!!!
Lamb Shank & Bangkok street rice were awesome. Fried rice is good as usual.
Crispy Roti missed the mark this time but usually good. Not a fan of the big potato pieces and eggplant in the Panaang Curry.
Definitely try the Sampler 🔥🔥🔥
Wonderful food. All fresh daily!!!!
Loved it, and the atmosphere is awesome ! It was expensive as heck, but huge servings !
One of my favorites
Make reservations! Or just as amazing to go. The wings are sooooo freaking good! The beef drunken noodles are amazing!
Really great food and service. Fresh ingredients cooked to perfection full of flavor and spice!!
I think malai kitchen has some standout dishes that id go to strictly for.
The wings and the crusted trout
I'm personally not a fan of the pad Thai as I think it has an unusual after taste in the sauce.
The food and service is great but this restaurant shouldn’t serve anything in cast iron they aren’t going to properly care for.
Hot tea is served in cute little cast iron teapots that are put in a dishwasher causing rust in the spout. Yuck. I used my napkin to rub off as much as I could then poured the flakes into the napkin.
My first time here. Really not a big Thai food eater. I pretty much left the recommendation up to the waiter. As is common for me on the first visit to any new restaurant, I ask the wait staff to pick what I'm going to eat and to make it something that would make me want to come back if I was on the fence about ever coming back. Well, they did their job! Very delicious big scallops on top of noodles with very spicy and delicious sauce. Nice lunch on Friday, really not very busy. Would definitely come back again. By the way, there is a free parking garage literally right to the south of this restaurant. Copious parking, so no worries about paying $25 for lousy valet service or worry about getting your car towed.
Save yourself any other options in this area and just go here. Exceptional service, quality ingredients and spices that explode in every flavor profile their menu has to offer. My second time, tried all new dishes. I am gluten sensitive, their menu is so clear on those options, and can make dishes to accommodate that, dairy, and vegan needs. They have never made it seem an inconvenience to ask on those options that were unclear to me, and went above and beyond to collaborate with the kitchen on that. First bite, your life is about to change. Medicinal food, which I consider this to be, given the intense infusion of herbs of this quality, is hard to find. The lemongrass soup almost had me in tears. The complexity of flavor, I cannot do justice with words.
Loved this place ! Everyone was super friendly the food was amazing 🤩 Definitely a 10/10.
I only wish the complimentary sauce with the sticky rice was served warm instead of cold but the drinks and food tasted really good 😊!
-Spicy Basil rice with chicken
-Veggie samosas
-Chiangmai noodles
-banana crème (sooo good!)
Delicious food, and wonderful service! We will definitely be back!
Liam was the one who attended our table the evening of February 16th. He was such a great waiter and made our evening at the restaurant a really great time, him & Bryce made our restaurant experience memorable. I was celebrating my birthday that evening so they were awesome to work with!
Highly recommend the Green Curry with chicken and white rice. A great dish!
The most reasonable place in Clearfork. (Which isn't saying much). Decent food. Try the fried shishito pepper appetizer. I recommend a reservation as they can get pretty busy- especially after a movie gets out.
Fantastic food and service. Our waiter Raymond is very good at his job. Well run place.
We came here for my birthday and we got such terrible service. I understand that they were busy but our waiter just forgot about us. Since no one came to check on us, I wasnt able to order rdessert. Very upsetting for a birthday celebration...
This is officially my favorite restaurant, it's just a perfect place. The food is delicious and very varied, the service is excellent, the portions are large and not expensive, the drinks are delicious, everything is perfect, highly recommend👌👌👌
We celebrated my Grandsons Birthday there and he had a ball
He picked the restaurant and so glad he did. Everyone enjoyed the food and the service was super. Thanks again for a wonderful time
Tonight, I visited their restaurant at 5289 Monahans Avenue, Fort Worth, TX. (Note: There are [4] locations in the DFW area)
For those that may be visiting the Dallas/Fort Worth area - I highly recommend the Malai Kitchen. An exceptional dining experience - the mix of spices & sauces - they have created tastes I have never experienced before.
Loved the pho I had, plus just tasting other dishes that my friends got, I really liked everything here. The ambience is also very nice—perfect for date night or girls night out!
The curries are nice. Their scallops are big.
Their portions of “sticky rice” are comedically tiny. Glutinous rice is just rice with a high starch content. There is little reason to portion it out like it’s caviar.
Just had late lunch here. This was my first time visiting this restaurant. The atmosphere was tasteful and comfortable. All of the food was good and well prepared. We will go back just to explore the menu. I highly suggest the flights of nanobrews.
But the service was the star of the show. The staff was obviously paying attention and working together to provide seamless service in a cheerful environment.
Go here. Often.
Definitely happy I decided to finally try this place. It is a good casual date night. It had a good atmosphere as well. For an appetizer I was recommended the Tai Wings and the sauce on those were to die for! Perfect level of spice with flavor.I tried the Vietnamese Pork Ribs for my entree and man they did not disappoint. The ribs were so tender and the green curry noodles it was on had so much flavor. For a drink I also tried the Bourbon Smash and it was delicious. Definitely a great spot to have a nice dinner. Can't wait to come back and try some more!
Absolutely delicious and wildly fresh! The menu says they can adjust most things to allergies or preferences. For example, I ordered my Thai basil fried rice with no egg. I added beef. It was perfect! You can tell it was made fresh. They also have a great selection of teas and drinks. The service was spot on. Great place!
One of the most unique Asian restaurants in Fort Worth. Love the pad kee mao!
Favorite Thai restaurant hands down! So many delicious dinner options but the Thai pork tacos, lemongrass chicken entree, and Papaya salad get my top vote! I love introducing people to this place.
We ordered pretty basic; fried rice, noodles, can’t really mess up on those, but they did. Those dishes were excessively greasy. We actually got sick to our stomach from how greasy the food was. Not a fan of their homemade beer either.
Service was decent, atmosphere was good.
I love this place! The service is always wonderful. They have a kind of tag team service where everybody takes care of you. And they do a good job. I love their food. The crab dip appetizer is outstanding. As are the chicken wings. I like the curries too. I had the Panang curry on my last visit. They brew their own beers on site too. I think my favorite is the Thai PA. But all the beers I've tried have been good. I highly recommend this place. The atmosphere is great too.
The shrimp pad thai at the Thai spot was a taste surprise! The mix of sweet, savory, and tangy flavors with juicy shrimp and great noodles was a masterpiece. The look was as nice as the taste, a must-try for those wanting real Thai taste. The colors and textures show the chef's skill. It's not just food; it's a memory that makes you want to come back. The place itself is cozy, adding to the overall great experience.
Amazing!!!
Zero customer service. Curbside orders are continually made incorrectly. The manager literally started an argument with me. I emailed the company and requested a customer service POC. No response. These people have no concept of what hospitality is. Go somewhere else.
This Asian Fusion restaurant is delicious!! The Pineapple Fried Rice and the Chicken Pad Thai was so good. I highly reccomend both items!! We also got the Sampler, and in my opinion it helps to insight a bit of each food, in which I found a particular liking to the (fried spring roll?). We had the Thursday Special, and ordered it with medium spice. It was very fragrant and the spice had me surprised. It’s good, although I’m not too fond of its intense curry flavor. The staff were extremely friendly though! Reccomend overall!!!
Service is insanely good here… especially for a post-pandemic setting. Food was also exceptional.
Started off with some rice wrapped in what loooks like to be banana leaf that was alright the rice itself was flavorless but give you some sort of sauce. Then ate some noodles that were good actually they were tasted limey.. and some shrimp spring rolls those it’s self tasted like they had a hint of lime but tasted fresh along with two sauces one sweet and the other sourish. Lastly I had banana pudding was expecting it to taste more like artificial banana flavoring , but it tasted more like a realistic banana and the cream was fantastic! The environment was clean and the service was wonderful first time eating here but won’t be my last.
Malai kitchen has very good, tasty food. Although, portions can be small and more expensive than similar restaurants around, it still taste better and more healthy. Unlike the bland basil vegetables fried rice and surgery curry soup others sell, theirs has good portion of veggies in their rice and less surgar in their curry.
Their fried chicken is a hit or miss. The last one I ordered was very dry, definitely not fresh and refried or microwaved.
Overall, a 4 star
We visited Malai for a late lunch and they did not disappoint! The service was great and the food was delicious! We started with the Malai Favorites Sampler appetizer and it was fresh and filling! I would highly recommend Malai Kitchen and look forward to returning again.
Tonight I had one of the best restaurant experiences as of lately. Grace went above and beyond to make my birthday dinner memorable. As it was our first time, she was very patient and polite, answering all of our questions and giving her suggestions. The drunken noodles were a 10/10. If you’re ever in search of something new make sure to stop by. You’ll be more than lucky if you have Grace there!
I’ve dined in here multiple times and it was fantastic. My girlfriend and I each ordered takeout tonight and it was less than desirable. I had a long black hair in my dish and she found several chicken bones in hers. Takeout quality is lacking
Outstanding great service great food 😄
Outstanding!
Great meal and outstanding service. Acoustics for normal level conversation not so good. Tonight the food was exceptionally good!
