In sleek surrounds, this Southeast Asian outpost doles out classic & vegetarian curries & noodles.
Probably the most flavorful asian cuisine we have had in a long time.
Service was exceptional, Sidney the Manager stopped to chat.
Sidneys personal touch and upbeat spirit made a great meal even better.
Our dishes were Ayam Noodles with chicken, Massaman curry, and Crispy Chicken which was Delicious.
The fried rice taste was a perfect balance.
Keep up the Great work.
We will come back.
I ordered Tom Kha Soup. Soup was flavorful and well balanced. It comes with noodle crisps. There is tofu and veg in the soup. Good coconut taste and well suited for my taste.
I also got a Tofu Pad Thai. Again good flavor and balance. The egg is cooked in the traditional way - it coats the noodles and vegetables. There is a generous amount of peanut which is a plus for me.
I recommended these two items and this place in general. I'll be back here for sure.
Traveled and ordered Drunken noodles with mixed vegetables and General Tso chicken with coconut rice. Do NOT order the drunken noodles. I don't even know why they have this on the menu. You WILL be disappointed if you order the drunken noodles. Don't get your hopes up like I did. This is more of a Chinese restaurant. Not a Thai one. The coconut rice was tasty. The General Tso was tasty. I recommend those dishes. The Thai tea I got was good. Wish it had boba. Sad that the waiter did not offer it or inform me of it. It wasn't on the menu as an addition so I had no idea. Overall, I had a disappointing experience and expected a lot better due to the good reviews. The waiter did not warn me that the drunken noodles were not like the traditional ones. They are more like Pad Thai noodles. A true disappointment.
Food is spectacular here and I find to be reasonably priced. I got the Mongolian combo which was steak, chicken and shrimp for $22 (one protein was already $18 or so, so why not do a variety) It was delicious. Had a taro bubble tea as well which was good. Our server was great and the food came out in a timely manner. We went on a Friday night and was able to get seated right away.
I can only say the food is terrible because I ordered takeout. This food is the worst because it claims to be something that it isn’t. I ordered the pho, and got bland as sand chicken based broth with none of the flavors of pho…at all? Please avoid this place and more importantly don’t let this be your first and ONLY impression of Vietnamese or Thai food. I had to use ingredients from my own fridge to be able to eat my takeout dinner that arrived tasting worse than a frozen dinner, but of course didn’t cost cheap like one. A funny cool name doesn’t make a restaurant good. The most disappointing thing about everything that I ordered is that it would have been simple to actually make this food good.. so thanks for nothing. I’m here to ride out this Typhoon of regret and off flavored mush

One of our favorite place in town for Thai.
Indonesian Fried rice, Garlic Chilli and Pad Thai are what we typically order. Highly recommended.
Wonderful pleasant service and food was great
My husband and I have been here twice now and each time was amazing! Best thai food ever!
Service is always wonderful and everything is delicious! I highly recommend coming here.
Food is great. Lots of options. Always hot, fast, and really good. Service is fine. Atmosphere is average. Have yet to find anything truly negative about this place and been many times.
i find restaurant
The staff packaged me dine-in order in a to-go container, then refused to let me eat at a table, even though most of them were empty "in case someone else comes in"
The pho was good, but it would have been better if I wasn't forced to eat in me car.
This is the first time (in the 8 years I have gotten my food from this restaurant) that I got angry. I called them at 1:37pm to have a pad thai to go and scheduled it to pick it up around 2:40. I go to the restaurant at 2:44pm and they have me pay for my order but then tell me it will be 15-mins. I was like are you kidding me, I made this order an hour before I come so I don't get late to my job. It was at 3pm (so was my job) and my order was still processing. The girl there didn't know who took my order over the phone and didn't care that I was getting late. I ended up getting my order at 3:21pm and even that was assuming to the cashier and the cook who handed her my order. I am very disappointed because my order was put in when I got there despite calling an hour before, that no one cared, and that I got a warning at my work. But the food was good as always.
Food has always been great whether I'm picking up, or in the restaurant.
Our first time here. Lorena was our waitress. She was very helpful on helping us pick our meals. Very attentive and sweet.
Such a wonderful meal and great service!!!!!
We eat here all the time and the food and service is always great!
Good food & good service!
Great food and service!
Good job
Sydney took care of us and was great with our kids! Thank you!!! We have had her before and she is great!
My husband and I come here often. The food is always exceptional and portion size is way more than I can eat. Lorena, our waitress, was very friendly and attentive to our needs. What a great experience!!
Sydney did a great job with our table—and there were 13 of us! She always had a smile on her face
Lorena H was our server and did a wonderful job! Great food!
I love Thai foon I eat here all the time, Sydney is a great server !
Brooke our waiter was great!! She was super attentive to our needs and our food came out fast it was delicious!
Sydney greeted us warmly and quickly. We started with dumplings and each had an entree. Service was excellent!
Great place to eat. Live the space levels. Brooke was our server she did great
Always love thai food! Our server Brooke was great! Service with a smile. Brought our food as soon as I got out in the window
Sydney was an excellent waitress. Very friendly and welcoming. The food was great too. I will definitely be back!
Sydney was amazing! She was very attentive to our needs, answered all of her questions and was very very friendly. As always, the food was amazing as well!
I really wanted to give a more positive review. The atmosphere and service were decent, and the peanut sauce for the Chicken Satay was excellent, though the chicken itself was a bit disappointing. Unfortunately, the Tom Kha soup was overcooked and had a bitter aftertaste. The Chicken Pad Thai was bland, with little to no peanut flavor. We ended up improving it by adding some extra Chicken Satay sauce, which helped somewhat. I wouldn’t choose this place again.
Yummy food and great service
The service was better than the food. But it is ok in a pinch
We had the Spicy Basil Noodles and Thai Curry Fried Rice and really enjoyed both. Five stars for a quick bite type of spot. It’s nothing fancy but good and we will order here again.
Best Pad Thai (peanut sauce is not sweet at all) & Lettuce Wraps! Everything we order here is always good & staff are great.
Good sushi Good dumplings
I've had good experiences here years ago when I lived around here. I decided that one night I would try to order takeout again. When I got to the restaurant, my food wasn't there and they told me it had already been picked up. I told them obviously a mistake had been made, but they really didn't seem to care. They told me I would just have to order again. I don't know what happened, this place used to be great.
Been eating there for over 10 years and food is consistently good and staff are pleasant and friendly. Went bc of a Groupon deal years ago and go back nearly every time we are in the area to either get take out for later or to eat at restaurant. Always good.
Food is not bad but depends what you order. And they need to really understand spice level. last time we ordered I ordered level 3 for the soup, and it was half of the soup crashed red pepper. So this time I ordered 2 soups one level2 and another one level 3. As I like spacy but not like mouth burning. So level 2 has absolutely 0 spices, like none. and level 3 has unbelievable amount of oil and crushed red pepper that soup tasted disgusting. Soup is good but you killing all the taste with that oil and unreal amount of crushed red pepper. Really have to look into how you do spice level for the soup
Great service & good tasting food.
Food is spectacular here and I find to be reasonably priced. Ordered the chicken pad Thai to go. It was such a disappointment. It was bland, everything tasted the same, when eating you couldn't tell the chicken from the noodles. The chicken was over processed that it had no texture. I ended up throwing it away. The fried spring roll was ok, nothing special.
Ordered Tom yum soup and it was so spicy that I couldn’t even taste it even though we ordered spice level 1!
On point always, never had a dish that I wouldn't get again.
Anyone who likes General Tso will love their ThaiFoon crispy chicken, it's a crowd pleaser!but don't touch mine!
Spacious, food is tasty. Do not ask for spicy if you can’t handle it. LOL.
Probably the worst fake tasting Thai I have ever had. They got order wrong and added shrimp when explicitly asked for there not to be as I have an intolerance. I picked around it and ate against my better judgement due to being on my way to work and not having extra time.
This restaurant is more generic Asian than Thai. So many dishes that are not Thai are on the menu and the Thai dishes themselves lack much of the spice and depth of flavor one would expect. The fried rice also had an odd burnt flavor to it as if the oil or the egg burnt in the wok when it was cooking. My Spicy Basil dish did not have much intensity or basil in its and was overall pretty disappointing.
Best diverse menu & everything freshly prepared! Been going since they opened! 1st time to try coconut rice- a Must order!!
Plus - right next to Cinemark for meal & a movie!!!
Coconut rice is a must try. Lunch special is a good portion and has several choices. Friendly service. If you choose something spicy, ask them for mild if you don't enjoy very spicy food.
I recently dined at Thai Foon for Sunday lunch and was thoroughly impressed by the experience. The ambiance was delightful, and the food was exceptional. However, what truly stood out was the service provided by Jojo. Their attentiveness, friendliness, and knowledge of the menu significantly enhanced our meal. Jojo’s recommendations were spot-on, and their genuine care made our dining experience memorable. Highly recommend this place, especially if you’re lucky enough to have Jojo as your server!
Food was awesome. Service and server sydney was kind and very attentive..
Excellent food. Friendly staff. Surprisingly enjoyable.
The food was delicious! 10/10 recommend trying if you haven’t. Service was excellent!
Food is delicious never miss a beat! The workers are friendly all around a good place
All the staff members were professional, kind, and competent. Plus, the coconut rice is a must-have! I will definitely be back.
Thai Foon is our go to place to eat in Robinson! JoJo is one of our favorite servers and Gina, the store manager, is always on top of everything.
Not to mention the food! Amazing flavor and SO filling.
Our server recommended the Mongolian dish and it was delicious! Great service!
Moved out of the area, but this is still our favorite place for Asian food. Hot, fresh, friendly, and fast!
Food and service were excellent! Thank you Sydney :)
Very good food or server Jojo was very nice
Sydney was great!!
i love this place! camille and louis are the best!
Taste Food. Delicious.
Awesome, very good and spicy too.
Rice was dry. Dishes lacked flavor. Our waitress was very friendly and accommodating
Food is delicious and there are gluten free options
Gino was the nicest server and the food was good.
Traveled and ordered Drunken noodles with mixed vegetables and General Tso chicken with coconut rice. Do NOT order the drunken noodles. I don't even know why they have this on the menu. Thaifoon has a lot of really good food on the menu! The chicken lettuce wraps, tom kha, tofu, and green curry are fantastic! We've tried other dishes and sometimes they can be hit or miss. Service is great and orders are ready quickly.
Great place to eat for lunch or dinner love their fried chicken in rice
I'm giving everything 3 stars. The reason for this is, I have been a patron of this establishment since May 2019. It was the best till COVID hit. Post COVID, I understand shrinkflation had to hit most food and beverage establishments but now it's almost a pinch every time I dine here. For example, 2 Indonesian fried rice, one with extra chicken, 1 crab Rangoon and a chicken satay would come up to 37-40$ total. The same meal costs over $60 now.
I refuse to believe that this is a product of shrinkflation, the quality of the food is still good but the portions are reduced, this is annoying when the prices are upped to such a degree.
I used to eat here weekly, now I barely eat here once or twice a year.
It's not my loss to be honest, I've just taken the time out to learn to cook these meals myself in under $20. Which tells me the mark up is straight up predatory.
Always love the food here. Very authentic. I usually order 8 or 9/10 spice level. Asked for 10/10 on my latest visit, waiter did not warn about the spice level. Instead she advised me to try it. Even though one of the dishes I ordered was 8/10, spice level was unbearable on all of them. Hence me and my friends ended up having burning sensation in mouth and stomach. I strongly recommend everyone to check in detail when it comes to spiciness before placing an order.
I come here almost weekly. Legit one of my favorite meals of all time. The General Tsos tofu is crazy good. Crispy and not soft and chewy like most tofu. Their fried rice is amazing too. Mongolian chicken is awesome as well.
Good food with quick service and a honest price. Tofu general Tso is very good and and doesn’t skimp out on the protein.
Love the Pad Thai. Very consistent quality, every time we go there.
Delicious! Order the pad see ew!
Excellent flavor, nice waitress. Will definitely go back
Would not recommend or return. Tom Kha was delicious, decor nice and staff friendly, but the triple delight was ok at best and the pad Thai was entirely shockingly and impossibly dry and flavorless. I don't know how you can possibly make something as intense as pad Thai taste like unseasoned tofu.
I am Thai and THIS IS NOT THAI FOOD. Ordered Drunken noodles and got mystery noodles. Wide rice noodles? Basil? I am not even know what is this noodle. Noodle and mystery sauce? Let me educate you drunken noodle is WIDE rice noodle with sauce that contains oysters sauce so the color and flavor is far from what I have here. TERRIBLE waste of money!!
We stopped by for dinner on June 3rd,2024 between 5:30-6pm. Best General Tso’s you will ever have!!! Our server was named Shawnden,I apologize if I spelled his name wrong. He was very friendly and polite and he shared laughs with us and made sure we had everything we needed. We were very impressed with him. Actually all the food here is amazing, but the General Tso’s chicken with that out of this world friend rice is just truly the best around.
I hate to leave bad reviews, but I have to get this one out there. Ordered the Summer Rolls, Tom Yum Soup, and Pad Kee Mao (Drunken Noodle). I should have listened to the reviews! Summer Rolls, were gummy and lacking flavor, dipping sauce was good. Tom Yum Soup was extra sour, and not well balanced, additionally, it should have had cilantro and lemon grass, but it didnt. Drunken Noodle was not a wide noodle like the menu claimed, and the sauce was not authentic, but tasted like a General Tso's sauce. Very disappointing! My waitress was very kind, and gave me a discount.
If you want beef lo mein this is the place to go I get a double order of beef in my beef lo mein and it cost me $20 and it's worth it it fills you up all day
Food is a bit pricey but the food is worth it. Food was hot and delicious. Many options. Great service.
We tried this place for a late lunch on a Sunday afternoon. The service was pleasant and attentive, but the food was disappointing. It did not seem to integrate any distinctive Thai flavors or approaches to cooking. We were missing Thai spices, fresh cilantro, basil of any kind, lime, ginger, lemongrass, fish sauce.... Even the fried rice lacked much flavor other than lightly burnt sesame oil. Pittsburgh has many great options for flavorful and authentic Thai food, ThaiFoon is, unfortunately,. not one of them.
Thaifoon has the best Thai food in the area, hands down, their menu is great and the food is tasty and consistent
First time there
Very surprised this place is rated over 4 stars. I ordered the Udon Noodles and was asked to pick a spice level. I choose 2. It was so incredibly spicy that it was inedible and was also ridiculously salty. The waitress came back and apologized saying that this dish is not supposed to be spicy so a level 2 is actually a level 4. This made no sense at all. I was promised a redo and sat for 20 minutes after paying my check without her bringing a new plate. Honestly it would probably be too salty like the first one. I should have said no thanks and just had them take it off the bill. I left without eating what a waste of money.
Not real Thai... although the food was ok,the taste was off.
Had the Pad thai and didn't taste anything like it suppose to, the chicken satay was dry and breaded
The peanut sauce was very salty with no sweetness at all.
Not coming back.
Consistently good food in generous portions. Staff is friendly and helpful.
Food here is AMAZING, service is the best in the area, and the boba will make you blow in your pants. Seriously skip the other bad restaurants like *cough SAGA cough* and just come here and be happy
Our favorite. From soups to appetizers to side dishes to main courses. It's all great
Just came out of this place . Really bad food . We ordered spring rolls (they didn’t even fried them properly ). We ordered Thai soup .. it was not Thai at all. Zero star
Great Thai food, at a reasonable price !
First time coming to your restaurant very clean, nice waitress. I will be back. Thank you for great service.
Everything was meh… not great…but not absolutely inedible. Won’t be returning…one of us got sick right afterwards…
2 of us didn’t eat much more than a few bites.
We were looking for something different and close to our hotel when we found Thain Foon. The food was flavorful and priced well for the portions. The hostesses were cordial and helpful.
I’ve eaten here twice and been disappointed in the food both times
Music was way to loud it was like trying to eat in a Planet fitness. We had two happy family entries mine had 3 shrimp, some beef scrap trimming and some beat up chicken scrap all in a brown sauce that was like glue veg and everything heavily coated, brown rice all clumped up old and cold all food was not very HOT.We got two ice waters with lemon 48$ for Cafeteria style food at best not busy,no liquor license,do yourself a favor go somewhere.
Wanted some pho (we love pho) and this was the only place open and close by. Ordered plain pho and some other items.
Pho looked lacking so asked for extra basil and soup but the waitress said both would be upcharged. She also said there were plenty of basil in the bowl already. So we checked, but discovered the basil was all black and rotten.
She then tried to argue that it turned black from the hot soup. That doesn’t work. Also see the fresh leaves they brought later to compare. Long story short, we didn’t want to eat rotten food so just left.
Right by the movie theater
Stopped in on 12/10/23 The service was very fast and my waitress was super friendly! The food was great and my chicken had a nice texture to it . The only two downsides I had was the Crab Rangoon appetizers quite small for $8.00. The last downside was the over all price was a bit of a sticker shock, I left there paying nearly $60 for two people!!! Food is good prices are not so wonderful!
Food was amazing. Ordered shrimp pad thai with a level 4 spice. It was incredible!
More than Thai, kind of Pacific Rim. Good Thai Iced teas.
I have ordered from here multiple times and I really enjoy spice. I can handle a decent bit of spice. But I selected spicy level one for my dish and it is TERRIBLE. The spice is taking over the dish and there is no other flavor. I literally can’t even eat it. Now I am out a trip to the restaurant to pick it up, $$, and have no dinner. Highly disappointed.
Good Thai food. Good place for lunch. Good service. They have raised their prices considerably, but still fair value for lunch.
Pad thai and bubble tea were awesome
Service was good, cleanliness was adequate, food was hot and well cooked.
The only thing I was expecting the Indonesian Fried Rice should be a little more spicy and the server the spice level either. However, I enjoyed the dish. Satay checken was a good appetizer. I would recommend both of these dishes.
Salt and Pepper Calamary and Thai Fried Rice were bland and missing flavors. Not recommend unless they change these dishes by adding some spices.
I would recommend Thai Foon at least once.
Excellent service, no waiting, great tasting food.
Everything was delicious. We had a person with Celiacs and a toddler so it was wonderful that they have such an accommodating menu and wait staff. Highly recommend
Fast, friendly, and yummy.
Very good food, lovely service thank you to Zoee for incredible service
Excellent Food and service!
Can't say enough about the quality of the food here. Try the Indonesian fried rice it is amazing, they will adjust the spice level to your comfort level.
The food always tastes great and is fresh.
During take out, just make sure you have all your extras in the bag before you leave. Multiple times, I was told certain things were inside, and they were, in fact, not. But all in all it's a great food experience!
Have dined in and got takeout from here. Love the food, the staff, and cleanliness of the restaurant.
Love this place! I've been going here monthly for over 10 years.
Worst bubble tea. Oily spring roll. Too much mustard in thai noodles. Child menu chicken noodles and good was only good.
The server was not ready to replace any food we didnt like. On top there is a 18% gratuity. I will not go back.
Restaurant serving good Thai Food. Decent decor and ambience. Plus side is it’s in the settlers ridge strip close to the Cinemark theatre. Down side is they charge a high cork fee of $3.50 per person!
Awesome red curry shrimp lunch.
Recently underwent a remodel that greatly improved the atmosphere. I've tried over a dozen things on their menu and have yet to be disappointed. One of the best Thai food places I've been to.
Update: still great
Ordered the chicken on a stick, vegie rolls, and chicken Thai special, it was actually all very good. Had just a tang of spice and had to get a to go box as it was too much food.
ok
They have the BEST premium Jasmine fried rice. That being said, I got the combination jasmine fried rice on Monday (takeout) and it was $18 for a container that wasn't even full. For this price, and how much was in there, I don't think we'll be coming back. I understand that prices everywhere I have gone up, but that is a bit ridiculous to charge that much.
A large selection on dishes. I think 75%of them had shrimp in them. The dish I got, the Sweet and Tangy Chicken, was really good. Large portions. I think only 3 or 4 of our large party was able to finish their entree. They got credit because they carry Mtn. Dew. The restaurant is not really set up to handle a large party. It was also a little noisy, so it was hard to hear the person sitting across the table. Despite any drawbacks, I would return with a smaller group.
I love the spice that comes along with the food!
Food and service was excellent. Music not so good, wasn’t relaxing. I got yellow curry, very good and generous proportions.
Excellent food and service.
Not authentic Thai food. Dint smell like Thai food. It had an overwhelming smell of bleach and / or cleaning products. Staff was friendly. Spicy basil was not spicy and had no curry flavor. Dish was too sweet, along with overpowering sweet coconut rice. It was more like eating at Pandas Express.
General tso was delicious and even better now that dining room is open and the staff is very efficient and friendly
This is the worse Thai food I have ever tried to eat. The drunken noodles were thin noodles and not the wide noodles and the dish was sweet with no spice. I filled up on rice. The Thai foon special stir fry was atrocious and definitely wasn’t what was expected . The meat in both dishes was soggy and so was the vegetables. Needless to say I will not be returning to this establishment as I can go a little further and get some actual Thai food that is edible.
The food came out quick and was fantastic!
Good service, fast and efficient pickup, great food! Been here a few times and always good! Also, food is spicy so keep that in mind when choosing spice level.
Excellent food and great service!
