Southeast Asian classics & lunch specials with spicy or mild options presented in a simple eatery.
I am so glad I stopped here for dinner!
The food was delicious and super affordable, plus the staff was very polite and super speedy.
The beef noodle soup was amazing! The broth was hearty, the meat was cooked perfectly tender, the vegetables were fresh and crisp, and the noodles were perfectly bouncy. A magnificent meal and a fantastic price!
This restaurant is the best part of the Portland area. As someone who eats a lot of Thai food, I must say that Siam is hands down the best Thai food I have ever had in my life. The owners provide excellent customer service, and I drive over 30 minutes to go to this restaurant because it's worth it. I'm very surprised this place doesn't have more reviews.
This food was absolutely outstanding! I got the Peanut Noodles and my husband tried the crispy chicken that was pictured as a special on their tabletops. When his came out, he was a little skeptical, but OH MY GOODNESS! It was so delicious. I would sell my left kidney for a vat of their peanut sauce. π¨βπ³ π Perfection!!!
I got the Pad See Ew & Pad Phet. Both were delicious & reasonably priced. Sorry, i didn't take pics. I was too busy scarfing down the food! The restaurant is very tiny but it was completely empty when I arrived on Sunday evening. Although it didn't matter since I did takeout. My order came with 2 egg rolls which was a nice surprise. And the waiter made sure to give me candy too as i left! It's in a tiny strip mall with parking. Gotta love places with parking!
When I got there with my date I wasn't sure if they had indoor seating or not... They kindly let us in and had a beautiful, clean atmosphere. The menu was clear and concise and there are hundreds of options. I ordered the drunken noodle pad Thai and my date ordered the red curry. We asked both be spicy. Within ten minutes our order was ready and in front of us to our delight.
Pretty sure we got transported to Thailand as the food here tastes homemade. And with love. The spice levels were perfect and the portion sizes were everything we needed. I absolutely loved the experience and will frequent this restaurant again! Thank you for such an amazing experience!

I really like their Tom Yum soup so much. However, it always has gigantic chunks of lemongrass in it. Be sure to pick through your soup before eating it. Nothing worse than taking a spoonful of soup and crunching down on an inedible, unchewable chunk of lemongrass.
Very friendly staff and really yummy food. We had the Mango Paradise, Drunken Noodles, & Massaman Curry.
Definitely recommend.
Amazing food! I love this place. Definitely coming again.

Delicious! Nice and efficient staff. Love the mango stir fry with lots of fresh vegetables. Soups are wonderful too!
The noodles were really overcooked for my taste: but I imagine some people prefer that. Otherwise the pad seems eew was great, the service was excellent and the place was very clean.
The staff is really kind and the food good. I would recommend this place if you like Thai food. The Pad Ka Pao was excellent.
Good service. Large portions. Great food!
Outstanding flavor! Outstanding service!
The best Drunken noodles Ive had for years. And it was Gluten Free. Edit 7/16/24 Afterwards I felt glutened. I need to ask what precautions they take. :(
Food is decent but we got charged 18% gratuity at the end without even being asked. Read your receipt before paying.
Hurts me to say this, I do not like to leave negative reviews unless the food is completely inedible. Especially when the owners are so ingrained in our community. Something has changed, the Pad Thai tastes like ketchup. To the point that we couldn't even enjoy the meal. We have been coming here for several years and it's always been fantastic. We thought it may be been a once off but checked recent reviews and others have mentioned this. We don't order other dishes so I do not want to leave a review for anything else, just be aware that the Pad Thai is not something you want to order unless you like ketchup noodles.
Came in for lunch today. We are new to the area and had never been here before. The food was really good and well priced for lunch. Great lunch specials and the soup they give you is delicious. Quick and fast service. The food was out 5 mins after ordering so great for lunch takeout or dine in. Staff is very sweet and we will definitely be back!
I was blown by the flavors- lots of TLC with their food!!
I had a great tofu panang curry. High quality vegetables --asparagus tips. It's just a small restaurant, I've driven by it for 5 years and never noticed it, but what a hidden gem. Will definitely be eating here again.
Not very friendly
Amazing customer service! Delicious food!
I canβt eat gluten or dairy and they worked with me to sub out/ in items so that I could eat what I ordered! So kind and considerate. And the food was so good!!
I order delivery from here often and the food is delicious.
My favorite neighborhood Thai spot. The staff are very friendly. They have good vegetarian options and the food is yummy!
The biggest thing was their menu prices are incorrect. Online shows one thing on their web page..and in store it's a different price.
Service was amazing. Fast and friendly. Perfect level of spicy. Ordered yellow curry. Delicious!
First I couldn't get through on the phone to order ahead, so then I had to wait 20 minutes standing room only, for a bunch of mediocre pad thai.. at least the Thai tea was tasty..
Great food, a ton of food for the price, and quick friendly service!
Truly and consistently good Thai food. Portions are enough for a few good meals. My partner and I order from Siam Grill once every couple weeks and are never disappointed. Delicious pad kee mao, pad Thai, pad woon sen, curries, etc. Iβve always immensely enjoyed whatever Iβve ordered.
Such a great place. Small but so so good. If you dine in - you get a cup of soup and hot tea included! The Pad Kee Mow is AMAZING - it was so so good - I have been searching for this flavor so long! ITS GOOD THAI FOOD.
I have eaten here and picked-up here, the food is delicious which is why I will continue to patronize Siam Grill. I love their chicken pa nang, so good.
I was hoping to have a great meal based on the reviews but was disappointed with the taste. I got the chicken pad thai and the flavor was bland. I also got fried dumpings but these were nothing great spectacular for the price. Wish I could have left a great review.
I came by Siam grill one night 2 years ago after the food carts I went to were already closed. It was a great find and since then this is the only place I go for pad Thai. Their lunch portions are great and but I donβt mind paying the dinner price because it so good. It seems to be family owned and it is the best Thai place in Portland. The dining area is small and intimate but most people pickup (post pandemic). They are great.
Well, the prices are a little high for the amount of food you get. But it is good curry in the neighborhood. Try it out.
Great food and service.
Very pleasant place. They said they are from Chang Mai, northern Thailand. I told them to make my larb spicy, and they sure did deliver. My 10 year old step-son nearly cried. Thank you for the joyful tears I will be back.
Generous portions, reasonable prices, and weirdly monarchist decor.
Super delicious and solid dine in service. Some of the best miso I've had in a long time, and complimentary. Absolutely going to be a go to lunch spot from now on.
This review is about two years late. My husband and I have been ordering takeout from Siam Grill since we first moved to the area and it immediately became our favorite local restaurant. Not only is the food absolutely delicious-- the prices are fair and the people are. We always see the same guy there, I believe he might be the owner, and he's always providing us with the kindest service.
We've enjoyed everything we've ordered here (and we've tried a lot of it!), but our favorites are the Khao Soy, Thai BBQ Chicken, Pad See Ew, and Pad Thai.
I decided to order take out today while on lunch and this place did not disappoint. I'm a huge curry fan and their curry was delicious. I got it with medium spice and next time I go I need to go the next level up.
Foods normally pretty good. Last time I was there they got my order wrong and it was terrible food. I normally get the fried rice with the shrimp.
Drove all the way here and they were closed.
I ordered orange chicken on Uber Eats from this place and my chicken arrived in a pool of water, Iβm assuming what the broccoli was cooked in. It was not sauce it was just water. Food was inedible due to being extremely soggy. Their Uber Eats description lists it as βcrunchy chickenβ but there is no way itβs crunchy when itβs put in a container of over a cup of water.
My partner and I always order to go from this place and itβs delicious. We often get the pad Thai to share which I recommend. The portions are large which makes the price very reasonable to split with someone. The only critique I have from our most recent. Visit is we got the pad Thai combination with shrimp and they didnβt remove the shell off the tails. Hopefully that was a one time thing but just be careful if you get the shrimp. The flavor of the food is top notch though.
Too many veggies for every curry plate we tried. The meat was sparse to be kind. The flavor was great! The sauces were delicious!
Very rude! Never coming to eat here in person again and I'm not one to usually put bad reviews but the guy in there seating was being absolutely mean and horrible! Pushed my friends hand off a chair and was throwing trays around, he was yelling at us and being just overall disrespectful, and I hope this helps people not go there
(btw I'm not lying I have plenty of witnesses and others who have claimed they had the same experience I'd seriously recommend going somewhere else if you want friendly services)
Just delicious fantastic food. Always ready when they say it will be
Salad rolls both tofu and shrimp are legit. Sauces for hot dishes are spiced generously. High homeless traffic nearby has caused them to screen sit down but everything is clean and tidy inside. Nice owners.
Wonderful food. We had both mango curry and pineapple curry. Not much was left to take home!
Got some pie Thai noodles with chicken and it tasted like ketchup it was terrible
Good food, a little bland, but service was fast and friendly.
Favorite place to get food!
Been ordering here for the past yr+ (delivery or take out) and everything had been delicious until about 3 months ago. We typically order from here monthly, sometimes more.
Pad thai has started to taste off- very tomato flavor heavy, almost like kutup. However, we continue to go everything else continues to be consistently good. Pad see ew, pad kee mao, thai fried rice, and panang curry. Crossing my fingers the pad thai goes back to its old flavors! Thank you!
Very disappointing place, is the first time that I got a pad Thai tasting like ketchup. They are unable to customize the soup to not be spicy. They turned the AC off so we could get out of there faster. I do not recommend this place.
Bro that's some good Thai food. Delicious.
Ordered delivery and it was as good as I get in the restaurant. Thatβs the true testament there. This place is absolutely a 10/10, every time it hits the spot
Always Excellent
Very good Thai cuisine! Done well and expedient. Great portion sizes and service always! One of my favorites in Portland and my go to for Thai!
Favorite Thai food in the area. We order from here at least once a week. Good portions and always delicious.
Favorite small restaurant!!
Tasty and quick great lunch place reasonably priced
Tom Yum soup was amazing! And the pineapple fried rice just as good.
Good drunken noodles
They do good take out, I've had only 1 mistake with my meals over the many years I've been going here and they fixed it immediately, I suggest this place to anyone looking to spend a bit for a large portion of amazing Thai food
Delicious Pad Thai. Friendly staff, quick service!
Vegetables were poorly cut and way undercooked. Would've happily waited an extra 5 min for well cooked meal
Very good portion for the price. Lamb and papaya salad were perfect.
Crab pad Thai was quite good. Pumpkin
One of the best Thai restaurants I went to.
Really nice waitresses, and delicious food
Food was ok. I ordered pad see ew...it was ok. Noodles were a little mushy and it could have had more chicken. But nice customer service
My brother and I had not been back since the pandemic started, but we have gone twice in the last few weeks. My daughter loves one of their curry dishes (her new go-to Thai meal) and the mango rice dessert.
The food was very good. My coworkers and I all got different Pad Thai's. Just wanted to mention that it is SPICY. I got a medium spice and it was so so spicy so I would recommend going mild or make a note on the order if you really don't like spicy stuff. One of ky coworkers got a spicy and one got extra spicy and I could barely swallow it was so HOT π that's just me though. The food and people there are amazing:) Definitely recommend!
Food is very tasty here
Good Thai food! Decent fair prices. Asked for 4 spicy level and it was damn spicy. Good. But Iβll stick with 3.
I ordered the spicy fried rice with seafood [spicy#3]. Sad to say it was not spicy at all. No Thai peppers or even black pepper..Wish it would have been spicy. Not worth $17.00 I paid..
Excellent restaurant. The service is fantastic. They will take care of you. Thank you for a great experience and for really caring about your customers. 5 star all the way.
The customer service here is outstanding!! I placed a very large order here by mistake, not realizing this was a different restaurant than the one close to my house (almost identical names). Upon realizing my mistake, and that there was no way I would be able to drive out to this restaurant, I called to ask them to at least give the food away so *someone* could enjoy it (figuring I'd have to eat the cost). The lady was unbelievably empathetic and, even though the order was large, she said she would refund it. And she did! I am so blown away and so incredibly grateful. When I AM close to this restaurant, I can't wait to stop in and express my gratitude in person.
Great service great food 10/10 would recommend and definitely making the 30 minute drive back just for the food
Love this little place. Great food and very nice people and good service...Arroy mak mak!
Most friendly service. Great food.
Food was exceptionally good and fast. After living in Thailand for couple years you want the authentic taste and Siam Grill did a fantastic job at this. Will be back and will recommend to others.
as always amazing service and food
This is a delicious Thai spot in an unsuspecting strip mall location. The ingredients all taste very fresh and the presentation is excellent.
My favorite was the mango curry beef. The mango chunks were huge and not over cooked like some restaurants do.
The pad see ew was sauced just right and had the trademark crispy noodles.
Good food, clean place, good service.
I have been coming here since before the pandemic and I must say their service, food and atmosphere has remained excellent the whole time! Itβs reasonably priced and delicious-try the pineapple noodles or the angry Salmon! I am a customer for lifeβ¦love this place!!
The food is so delicious here you find yourself just saying βThis is so fa king good!β over and over again! Then hearing the same thing from everyone else who is eating!
The place is right next to Pizza Hut so I thought I would give it a try. The second you walk in the door, you know you came to the right place.
Authentic food is often loyal to its roots and as you can see, the loyalty is there and so is the commitment to a unbelievable tasting experience!
I didnβt get shots of the full menu, but as you can see there is something good for everyone here. If you like good food that is good for you, you simply must try this place out!
We got the Ginger Stir Fry with Chicken and I have NEVER had better!
Really good. I did ask for medium spicy but they probably heard different because my food was waaay spicy. I do enjoy habaneros and birdseye chilis. But the food was just all chili flakes and almost uneatable. Which is unfortunate because the noodles, pork, and vegetables were so great.
Food is AMAZING! We had the pad thai, noodle dumpling soup, a combination appetizers platter and a bubble thai tea. All of which were sooo tasty! Going to be one of our new regular spots.
They were extremely busy and still gave exceptional service. Would recommend this place to any and everyone!
Side note, inside is a little bit small but other then that this place is phenomenal π
Best Pad Thai in NE Portland.
Yellow curry & iced Thai coffee were both delicious! My friend got the mango curry, which was also so good!
Best Thai food I have had in YEARS, and I've found some great Thai food in Portland. I was there with a friend who grew up in Thailand, and she commented that it tasted like what her dad used to make. Really, really good food.
Fantastic food and service!!!
Excellent cashew chicken!
delicious...i didn't even make it home. like a savage and an impatient gen z, i ate 20% of it while sitting in the driver's seat in the parking lot. the pad see ew had a smokey charred chicken in sweet soy sauce. the noodles were perfectly chewy and non oily/greasy (asked for light oil) and the broccoli/carrots were perfectly al dente (not too mushy, not too undercooked).
also got the papaya salad med. spicy and definitely has some kick to it and for some reason it made me eat more, with water of course, but none to be found in the car. it didn't stop me from stuffing my face tho. it helped to chase it with the pad see ew. π the portions are generous and quickly prepared (5-7 min). it took me longer to look at the menu to decide and order. parking is a bit tight.
Absolute favorite is the mango....uhm...I always call it mango paradise but I'm not sure what it is actually called. Haha but the food is always amazing. Staff is friendly, service is swift, and prices are fair!!
Update: I must have ordered the wrong thing, because I am now a repeat customer and this is our go-to for local Thai food. Glad we tried this place again!!
Maybe I ordered the wrong food or something but I found the cuisine bland. Just generally unimpressed. Still searching for a good Thai spot in NE...
Hard working Thai people making excellent Thai food. Love it! On my faves list.
First I only stopped here because it was open & convenient.
But now it is my FAVORITE THAI RESTAURANT in ALLLLLL of Portland, Gresham, & Vancouver area!!!
Their Pineapple Fried Rice & Shrimp Salad Rolls are absolutely delicious!!
I eat here at least once a week & the portions are AMAZING!
Absolutely incredible food, the dishes are great portion and prices are good.
Super friendly staff. Quick service, Loved the food, Small intimate restaurant.
These guys are great. The food is amazing and their customer service cannot be beat. I strongly recommend anyone hungry in the area looking for legit Thai food, stop by and give them a shot.
Love their food.
In a city with really good Thai food, this place is a stand out for me. And super fast!
Always good food and quick service
Amazing food! Everything is good. The best Tom yum soup Iβve ever had and the best vegan yakisoba! Good real veggies, not frozen.
Everything's good and so much GLUTEN FREE! Every sauce is, so unless you choose a noodle that is wheat like chow mein or a wonton you don't even have to ask them to make it that way. I live up the street and have had pretty much everything by now. Favorite is still their pad Thai woon sen, and all their curries.
We had a party of 10, this place has really good food and excellent choices on the menu and the service was very quick and amazing. Next time I am in Portland I will definitely visit this restaurant again.
Great flavors on the food or's really good
First time customers was ready when they said it would be. Was only there for a pickup but he was really sweet and the pad Thai and yellow curry are delicious. Will definitely return
Excellent pad Thai and fried rice. My go-to Thai spot when I visit Portland.
10000/10 cannot recommend this place ENOUGH. Iβd eat here every week if I wasnβt broke AF all the time π their pad Thai: amazing. Fried tofu: amazing. Thai iced coffee: amazing. Curries: amazing.
Excellent vegetarian as well as meat/seafood options. Fun for the whole gang!
This was our first time ordering from Siam Grill and we were very pleased with our meal. We just moved to this neighborhood and I can say weβll definitely be eating here in the regular.
Our order arrived faster than expected and was easily the best meal Iβve had in a while. We got the roasted duck curry, cashew nut, yum woon sen and fried wontons. All were delish!
We have been ordering from Siam Grill for several years and have found it pretty good. But tonight our order was so oily that we are not eating the sauces. We hope this is just a one time fluke, but beware. Just two stars tonight.
Good food at good prices with great service. This place has really good Pad Thai and can make food so spicy you may have to second guess your spice tolerance!
Siam Grill is one of my two favorite Thai places I've eaten in Northeast Portland. They are very friendly and take great care of their customers, plus the food is delicious! I usually go for the wide noodle meals, and the soups are great as well.
YUM! delicious, fast and extremely friendly!
Amazing food and customer service truly a gem would recommend the Chicken Pad Thai very savory and nicely seasoned. Also my girlfriend loves the Egg Rolls! Definitely going back.βΊοΈ
I have started ordering this place more and more, such gooood food!
Great service the order was ready when I got there very friendly people and lots of food.
Pretty basic Thai food. From what I've had is just ok. I do love They're doing sauce for the Squid n shrimp
I visited this place a few years back and the portion sizes were huge for a good price. I love their Thai coffee and their peanut sauce.
Ordered online through their website. Ready in 15 minutes. Pic is of their Pad See Ew. I also ordered Massamun Curry with chicken and rice. For dessert, Mango and sticky rice with coconut cream sauce. All of it was tasty. Both entrees were $12 each. Dessert was $7. If you want an entree with two proteins, itβs $15. If you want a Thai Iced Tea, itβs $3.50. The portions are big enough that you might have leftovers for a late night snack or two!
The Panang Curry, with my preference of having extra veggies added, is really delicious. The Chicken Larb Salad was very tasty too. The Pad Kee Mao (Drunken Noodles) was pretty good, but had very few shrimp, even with an upcharge for the shrimp, which was disappointing.
Good food and good portion size. They do a decent amount of business for such a small place. No dining inside yet but steady takeout business. Worth going to.
Pra Ram Peanut Sauce Delight with tofu... Delicious, massive amount of food. Lots of vegan options on the menu.
Great service! Friendly staff! Good food!
So bland and flavorless
I accidentally called the wrong Siam and ordered food from here by mistake. When I called to tell them, I offered to pay anyway. They told me not to worry about it. I bet their food is amazing and I will try it sometime when I am in thay area. I appreciate their kindness even in these difficult times.
Great food but I always feel like the price chang one day 10 another 15
