The atmosphere was calm and enticing.The food did not seem authentic. The wings were commercial wing that could have been purchased at restaurant depot that were pre-seasoned and served with a sauce that overwhelmed the pallet. I ordered a chocolate lava cake that seemed more like a brownie in taste and size. Someone in my party joked that I paid $14 for a muffin and a scoop of vanilla ice-cream 😂. I really enjoyed the green curry with shrimp. Someone ordered the fish and did not enjoy it as the fish was not seasoned well and the sauce was overly sweet. The fried calamari was also under- seasoned, but the dipping sauce made up for it. The dishes were beautifully displayed. The dishes were served quickly. I would probably go back and try different dishes. As per recommendation, I would say try it and see what you think because it wasn’t great, but it wasn’t terrible either.

This was a good dining experience. Even though I stuck to simplicity and got shrimp fried rice, it was very tasty.

My friend got a whole fish that came with a side of rice. That fish was dee-to-the-licous!! The sauce that was poured over the fish complimented it well. It even made my fried taste even better.

Appetizers were good. Had the spring roll and fried shrimp. Each came with sauce (shrimp had 2), but the orange sauce we got with the shrimp was the best.

Went there with my wife for the first time for Lunar New Year Celebration. The restaurant has very beautiful atmosphere inside with golden lotus hanging from the roof. Very nice ambience. If you are looking for indoor photography while having your meal, then this is the place. People are nice and very polite, always come to you with a wonderful smile. The aroma inside reminded me of my multiple Thai trips. Food was very good, slightly customised for American customers, yet has that original flavour. I would recommend this place to any Asian food lover.

10/10 would recommend I had some questions about the different sauces they had to offer and he gave me a sample of five different spicy sauces I came here on a Friday afternoon, right before a line started to form. I ended up choosing the spicy Thai chili sauce and cheese and it was PERFECT.

I really wanted to love their food but idk the chicken they use has an off putting taste. Idk if you guys have tasted left over cooked chicken or boiled chicken that’s how the chicken tasted in the soup and fried rice. Also I’ve been to many Thai spots they refused to substitute shrimp in my Tom yum for the lunch special which i have never experienced. I even said I’ll pay extra but they refused. Which brings me back to I wonder what chicken are they using in the soup, bc it does have a weird taste not fresh tasting. And the lunch special fried rice as well. I got the basil sauce too but the chicken in there was ok but i guess bc it was stir fried in the sauce it masked the smell and taste. However their crème brûlée was delicious. I’ll have to it after lunch hour specials to see if it is the same experience with the old chicken used. Or just will have to try different protein. Don’t get me wrong the sauce was tasty but the weird chicken smell and taste really turned us off.

People should be forewarned before they walk into this restaurant. They serve tasteless and bland food, that are highly overpriced. I ordered "Coconut Shrimp" for $14. However, my heart sank when I saw when 4 individually breaded shrimps pierced into 4 different chopsticks, placed in front of me with less than 2 ml sauce. Essentially, $14 for 4 Shrimps!! Tell me this is NOT Highway Robbery! Another dish that I ordered was "Spicy Eggplant" for $16 a plate. I got the shock of my life when the first bite almost seared my mouth because the dish was so highly spiced that no human being could consume that. Green beans were almost raw. The worst part of it is, when you ask for the bill, these people generate a bill that shows a minimum of $18.87%, then 25% tip etc. It is quite atrocious that people are subjected to this kind of treatment simply because they trusted this place to serve authentic Thai cuisine.

The New York State authorities should consume some of this foods and thereafter shut down this restaurant. All the positive reviews found on their website are PAID REVIEWS. These false reviews is a dishonest gimmick to draw in unwary customers for the oncoming Highway Robbery. BUYER BEWARE!! You will be robbed with their substandard, unpalatable and Overpriced food.

THIS IS MY NEW FAVORITE PLACE IN LI 😭🙏. We got so much and it was ALL amazing, the interior is beautiful, the prices were pretty good for the amount and especially the quality, the staff were lovely. Im eating my leftover duck right now and it is singlehandedly fixing my life.

Been here for their great Lunch special and a dinner, last time i got the red curry beef and loved it. This time the Hot Sweet basil duck, absolutely loaded dish and very spicy. Duck was juicy inside and crispy outside. Thai dumplings, chicken wings, mussels, fried calamari, and the chicken soup are all amazing starters. I recommend trying the Thai iced tea is a sweet delicious drink especially if you’re choosing a spicy dish. Very nice dining room and space make this a very nice ambiance to enjoy in.

This is the first time I had Thai food. Goodness ....I cannot find the words...it was more than good. Had the papya salad..a duck roll...fried ice cream. Every dish had its own particular flavor. It was caught up in the ambience...the gold leaves on the dark ceiling. Good vibes dark and gold colour. Servers were really helpful and fast. It was an awesome truly satisfying delicious experience for me.

Best lunch special in New York, Pad Thai Chicken spicy with a tasty peanut dressing salad and spicy chunky vegetable and chicken soup. The soup is the best I've ever had and when I pick up the lunch I stick my head in the bag and inhale. Delicious aroma and taste, highly recommended!

It’s a small and vibrant place. My boyfriend and I love to dine here! We get the egg rolls as an appetizer, he orders the wings as a main entree with curry rice which is sooooo delicious! You can not go wrong with the Tom Yum soup 😁😁😁😁. I would give it a 10/10 if I could rate is 10 stars!

First time here today. Very good food. Ordered Tom Yum Soup and Pad Kee Mao w/Chicken. Tom Yum Soup was almost perfect. Pad Kee Mao was very very good, but could have used a little bit of a kick to it.

Staff very very nice and accommodating. Always smiling and makes you feel that they are happy that you are there. Definitely a keeper.

Ate here for lunch with some friends and loved it! The vibe and decor are beautiful and the dish ware especially are pieces I’d love to have in my collection. We all got a lunch special and a Thai iced tea. The Thai tea was tasted amazing and authentic. My friend loved the green curry and my other friend Salma thoroughly enjoyed her Thai fried rice. I had the pad se-ew and it was delectable! Would recommend to come here for a the lunch special which also comes with chicken Tom yum soup and a side salad dressed with peanut sauce.

I asked for the papaya salad to be Thai spicy and I didn’t get that. Felt lacking to me personally overall, and the stir fry as well as ingredients look and tasted more Chinese style to me which was also disappointing and honestly almost offensive to me because I’ve been to a place before who adds bell peppers to this dish which isn’t authentic at all. It’s their business so I can’t tell them how to make it how they do in Thailand.

The place was about to close and the server was kind with nice atmosphere which is nice, but I’m disappointed that the food itself wasn’t authentic to me as other places I’ve been to in Ny for cheaper as well. If I give this place another chance in the future I hope I can enjoy the food fully, because if I was served this while dining in I would sent it back.
I’m obviously frustrated since I was looking forward to this since I always pass by it.

I went there for the first time with my husband for a lunch date. when I went in, there were about 4 other sets of people sitting. We looked at the menu, placed an order for two Thai iced teas, appetizers, two FULL portion orders and ordered one lunch special order just to try. The Thai iced tea came FAST, within about 3 mins. Two other sets of people came in and sat and they placed their orders. They were given drinks, appetizers and their food and we were sitting there still waiting for appetizers. It FINALLY came, I was STARVING, lol Im 7 months pregnant. Now, we sat for another half hour and the lunch special salad came for us to try which was pretty good! Now, the soup came, WITH HAIR IN IT! (Picture attached) I told the girl, she took some time to bring a new one which at this point, I didn't even want. Some people that came in after were finished eating and done. At this point, I had to add more meter to our car. Now, our food came, we were just ready to leave. We ate a little, paid our bill and left.

PRETTY “GOOD” EXPERIENCE!
I ate in a couple of Thai restaurants before and I have to say the food here was just okay and nothing overly crazy. The restaurant is pretty packed especially during the weekends and it took my family around 15 mins to be seated on a Saturday night. Parking was pretty hard to find despite the huge parking lot that was 5 mins away since the neighborhood is packed with restaurants. The seats and tables were pretty squished and crowded next to other customers. The atmosphere was very lively with dim lighting and cool decorations. The staff offered quick and friendly service. We ordered pad thai, yellow curry, red curry, squid, and satay beef. Overall, it was a nice experience but I wouldn’t necessarily come back and feel like I can get this food elsewhere with less hassle in terms of waiting, parking, and eating comfortably.

There was a constant flow of people coming in to eat, and for good reason. Their food was delicious.

What kind of excuse is it's too busy to modify any order. That's sad. No matter what the situation, the customer comes first. The business and its staff should find a way to satisfy the customers' reasonable requests. The sheer lack of any ounce of interest to do so will surely make me think not only twice but 3,4,5 times to give my business to this place again! This would be one of my last preferences & lowest references!!

Probably one of the most popular restaurants in RVC, and it’s clear to see why. Fast service, good food, generous portions. Wouldn’t recommend the duck though. For some reason they fry it and it makes it incredibly dry. Otherwise highly recommend. Also they don’t take reservations, which is actually nice for those nights you don’t want to have to plan you dinner hours in advance.

Very delicious food with generous portions for the money! The vibes were cool too as the decor was modern and fancy with the lighting. Celebrated my birthday there this year. A beautiful place with great service and good food. Price was pretty reasonable and portion was good. They have a very unique style and taste on their food which I loved the most.

Food was great, and the tables were too close together, but that didn't ruin my experience. I will be adding this place into my rotation of places to go. Highly recommend going!!

Food was great, large portions for the price. Ordered spicy basil fried rice, beef pad thai and spicy thai basil entree. My only gripe is the amount of onions I had in my entree. I actually love, love onions, and this had more onions than the rest of the stuff.

My friends and I really enjoyed our dining experience here. When you walk in that have decorated bird cages hanging from the roof. The seating inside is a bit tight, but they make it work. We ordered everything from the grilled squid, beef pad see ew, Tom yum soup, duck yellow curry, beef spicy noodle, and the Pla lad prig fillet. The flavors and seasoning were on point. I loved the noodle dishes. The duck was fried perfectly and adding it to the creamy yellow coconut curry added some nice textures. The squid is a must order and a great appetizer option. Prices are reasonable and food portions are fair. They have an extensive menu that will satisfy any craving. They only take walks in and luckily on a busy Saturday night we were able to get a seat without a wait. There is plenty of street parking in the front. If you can't find any there is an open lot 2 blocks down.

My partner is a frequent craver of Thai food so we have tried practically every location within the area and Tum Thai is genuinely the best.

The food is always consistently flavorful. I would highly recommend the fried calamari, Thai Salad, Pad Thai, and all the curries. I even recently ordered a Ginger Chicken because a neighboring table did and it smelled delicious. As a person who does not like ginger too much, that dish was still delicious. I would also definitely recommend the coconut sticky rice dessert(I didn't get the name of it).

Tum Thai is a pretty good Thai place in RVC with a nice inside and tasty food. They have the usually things you would see, like Drunken Noodle, Fried Rice, Duck Curry, and Curries. I would recommend it.

Nice place, the food came out quickly, good beers, and friendly waitress. I loaded up on a few different appitizers that did not disapoint and had a taste of the Tamarind Honey Duck which was cooked to perfection.

This is a place where if you wanted to throw a party you wouldn't even have to spend money on decorations because of how it's designed.
We ordered the spring rolls and chicken wings as appetizers. They came out piping out, fresh, and super crispy. For entrees we had the peanut chicken and pad thai. The plates were super generous and the flavors were absolute perfection. We had to pack it home because it was just so much food, and they tasted even better reheated. We saved room for dessert too. We ordered the fried bananas and mango sticky rice. The fried bananas were delicious, they tasted like a similar filipino dessert we make called turon. The honey and chocolate syrups complimented the fried banana spring rolls and fresh fruit really well. The mango sticky rice was plated beautifully and tasted really good. They add a dash of salt on top of the sticky rice which made the mango's sweetness come out more.

Consistently great Thai food

A cute little spot for Thai. The Tom Yom soup and pad thai were so great everything wr come. The pineapple fried rice could be skipped in my opinion; not bad, just not memorable.

This is my go to Thai restaurant whenever I am in New York. They have good ambiance, good service, very friendly and accommodating staff, good tasting food and value for money.

This restaurant is just near my hotel so whenever I fly to New York for work I always see to it that I will dine and have my Thai food cravings satisfied.

I usually order their Thai fried rice, Tom yum soup, Som tum salad, Pad Thai, Satay and spring rolls.

If you will be around Rockville Center area, drop by and try their good tasting Thai food.

This place may get crowded but it is worth any wait. The food tastes delicious and comes out so quickly. The staff is ultra customer-oriented and attends to all your needs. We can always count on a great meal here. Plus, they are true their word. I left one time and they forgot to give me my take-out (I wanted to bring something home to hubby after my daughter and I ate). I called and the manager said he would keep track and n apply it to my next meal when I came in. That's exactly what they did on my next visit. I am a customer for life!

I love this place. The first time I visited was 2022 on Easter after my daughter's christening. I had a party of 12 and they was able to accommodate without any wait. The food was great also the portion size. So I returned March 2023 and nothing changed. Maybe the prices due to inflation
