Call ahead. The only bad reviews here are about the inconsistency in open times. Get over it.
This is the best classic americanized Thai in Portland. I've tried tons and this place still takes it. It's not bougie or hipster, it's always good. There is no website or social media. I want nothing more after a bad day.
The lady who works the cart is always nice and I hope she's having fun when the cart isn't opened. Food cart cooks have lives too. Be thankful when this place is open.
Soooo good! The flavors are intense! My fave is the "Make It Black," I crave it weekly, at least! but I've never been disappointed with anything I've had here.
Ada, the owner is warm and welcoming and her food is clearly cooked with love. I ask her not to add sugar to mine as I prefer the more savory tastes and she was happy to make that adjustment for me and remembers that whenever I get food here.
I do get sad when I'm having a craving and she's closed unexpectedly but since it's in a good food cart pod overall, there's always other options, so don't let reviews about closures keep you from trying this gem. If you love truly flavorful food, you don't want to miss this. Maybe call first if you're set on Thai.
The pad thai here is amazing π ππ
It is on the sweeter side as opposed to the savery bolder taste of some others. Just the way I like it. Will be going here from now on. I will say it was lacking in veggies but overall delicious π Portion size is good. feeds 2 skinny people.
Highly recommend! So good and the chef is so sweet! Always get their drunken noodles
We ordered the "Oh my God" and the sweet and sour soup, which comes with a side of rice. The oh my god is sort of like a crab wonton but in a roll up form, it was ok but not great. The sweet and sour soup was good. The hours are not reliable but the staff is friendly. This is one of the few food carts at Cartlandia that is cash only, however there is an atm on site.
By far the best tasting Thai food cart in Portland. Ada and staff are so friendly and great at what they do. I have never been disappointed from this absolute gem of a food cart and every time I go Ada is always so friendly and kind. The food is flavorful, made with love, and absolutely bursting with flavor. Love any of the Thai rice and oh my gods but you truly canβt go wrong with anything on the menu. Amazing!
Call before you go to them! As mentioned by others their hours are not always accurate. But when they are, it's WORTH IT. Ordered the Pad Kee Mao (Drunken Noodles) and Pad Thai. SOME OF THE BEST IN PORTLAND!!!!
The texture of their noodles are always on the more sticky/ chewy side- in the best ways possible. This is in contrast to other thai spots that tend to have overcooked/mushy noodles.
Portions are great, service was great and when they are open, they definitely make it worth the while!!

Phenomenal Thai food that brings me right back to the streets of Bangkok.

My favorite Thai food in Oregon, I just wished she was open more often. Super sweet lady.
When you can catch them open, really great pad thai, pad kee mao/ see ew.
This is a great cart for food if you can manage to show up when she is "open" dont assume she is open if you check Google hours because they never update hours or stick to a schedule. I don't understand why so many people now a day are so flakey in Portland. They can't even run a business reliably.
Great Thai food but didnβt have anything else
Food is always so good; you can tell they use quality food, the presentation is appreciated, alway huge portions, and friendly staff!! My tummy is happy π₯°

(NOTE: Call before coming here! The hours here can be confusing.) I live in Gresham and will travel all the way to Cartlandia just for the cashew noodle here. I have tried almost everything on the menu and everything is phenomenal. I have been to many Thai restaurants, but nothing compares to the fantastic food and excellent service here at Anything Else! I have been coming here for years and have never had one bad experience. The other Thai cart here however, Thai Mango has given me a fair share of negative experiences.
Awesome Banh Mi!
If I could give this place no starts I would. They are always closed I can never ever catch them open even though it says they are open. I suggest calling first before going because they are ALWAYS closed! worst place ever.
I love this place so much but I wish I could catch them open.
Sheβs never open even though it says sheβs open.
Super affordable, a solid two servings in every purchase. The staff is really good about balancing spiciness. We keep coming back. Try the OMG when it's available. It lives up to the name.
The owners are really good people. They truly care about each and every one of their customers and won't blink at the opportunity to fix mistakes and make things right.
Unfortunately they're hardly ever open and aren't consistent with their hours. I don't know how many times I've wanted to eat here only to find out they're closed. It really is a shame because their food is fantastic. If it wasn't so good I would've stopped coming back a long time ago. If you're lucky enough to catch them open then you'll be in for a pleasant thai food experience.
One of my favorite carts at Cartlandia. Great thai food at a fair price. Occasionally this cart will be closed on days they have listed open, but it's at Cartlandia so at least there are other options to check out.
Stumbled upon this cart, to my suprise, the most AMAZING Pad See Ew i have ever had!!! The flavor, simplicity and authenticity is beyond. Will definitely stop by on my next trip over. Service was great as well!
Love this place. Just sad that some days they close. Lol
Absolutely one of the top 5 places I would eat.
My favorite food cart in Portland, restaurant quality Thai food at great prices. The people who run it are incredibly nice.
The beef drunken noodles, AMAZING!!!
Tied for my favorite food truck in Portland so far. My favorite thing to get is the spicy fried rice. The tom yum soup is also great, as are all the noodle dishes.
Gotta be on the short list of best Thai food in Portland. Food is so good. Prepared to order. You would spend $20-30+ for an entree of this quality at any fancy sit-down Thai restaurant in inner Portland. The prices are totally reasonable and the portions are generous. The lady that owns the place is very nice and we like supporting her business!

I can't stop to come here, amazing
I been many many times, I never get tired of their food. Tom and his helpers are some of the nicest people around Cartlandia.
