The place was buzzing with all sorts of people (Portland wing week definitely had a role to play in it). The table next to me was occupied by a bunch of Instagram foodies/reviewers and they seemed to also enjoy the wings.

Overall, loved the vibe of the place. Would definitely come again to try other foods and drinks!

I visited Vietnam a few years ago on a food tour, and this food tasted just like that. We had the Bún with Bò Lá Lốt, the Chả Giò Crispy Rolls, the Gỏi Cuốn Salad Rolls, and the crispy pork belly. The flavors are really interesting and pungent (in a good way) and herby, their housemade fish sauce is perfect, we loved it all. It’s the best Vietnamese food I’ve had in the USA. I can’t wait to eat here again.

Pho broth is amazing, don't like the fact you are to pay for extra sauce because the tiny amount they give you with the pho. But the food is great!

Sorry no photos I starting scarfing as soon as the food arrived…had the stew and baguette and stir fry pork with basil….food was so flavorful I had my doubts with late night places then I got smacked a flavor back hand good job guys

Far better than average, everything we had was delicious. Tofu Banh Mi, salad rolls, wings, cocktails, all of it was very enjoyable and tasty. Even something as simple as sweet potato fries were far above average. Service was very fast but everything was clearly made after ordering considering the freshness and flavor. We will be back! Thank you and yum!!

Exceedingly good food. I've had takeout several times, ordering their wings, minced pork over rice dish, roles, and chicken noodle dish. Flavor and execution are constantly top notch.

I think this place is certainly excellent Vietnamese, and one of the best restaurants in the city.

The food is delicious here, personally wanna kiss the chef’s hands for doing a such a great job. Staff is friendly too. If you’re looking for good food definitely go with the Short Round!

Masterful chive cakes! First time I’ve tasted anything like this—so good 😋 I got the Pho with veggies and tofu as well. Plus the seasonal cocktail (delicious!), made it the perfect me-date night out order.

It's my second time here, and both times were wonderful. Ordered the Bö Kho with sticky rice and Thai tea. They know it out of the park on flavor, everything about the food is clearly fresh and homemade. This is easily my new go-to for late night Thai/Viet cuisine. You can't go wrong stopping in here.

Went here for pho, the pho selection is limited (only 2 options for meat) but damn was it delicious. Some of the best pho I've ever had, and lots of other tasty looking options on the menu that I want to go back and try! Very cool looking place too.

This place is amazing! I had a wonderful time here with my friends. The food was delicious and the service was outstanding. The bartender was super friendly and patient while I picked out my food and drink. He made some great recommendations and was very attentive.
The place has a chill vibe and a cozy atmosphere. It was easy to chat with the employees. I love how late they are open, so you can enjoy your night without worrying about closing time.
The food is incredible. I cannot recommend the Bahn Mi and dumplings enough. The Bahn Mi was fresh and flavorful, with sweet potato fries on the side that were perfect. The dumplings were juicy and tender. I will dream of that Bahn Mi for sure.

They have a bar inside serving all sort of alcohol. Their food are mainly Laotian. The restaurant/bar is clean. The Pho they serve are made fresh; it has it's own personal flavor that is uncommon. It is wheelchair accessible and because there is no sign of ages I believe kids are welcome as well. A++

A gem among gems….standouts here include the wings and shrimp pork dumplings.

We ordered fried rice, pad kra pao, pork belly, and the mule! All delicious. The pork belly reminds me of lechon kawali (a filipino dish) so that was nice. We will definitely come back. The service is great too.

Placed a to-go order at the counter. There were a total of 2 other tables being served. It took 30 minutes to get our food. Turns out the bag that was sitting there for at least 15 minutes was our order. The young guy at the bar just forgot about us.

The big wins on the menu are the crispy smelt and the fish sauce bloody mary. Go for happy hour and try all the things.

We sat at the bar and had beers and appetizers and got our entrees to go. Loved being able to see into the kitchen, and the food videos on TV were a nice touch. Service was outstanding, all the food we ordered was cooked fresh and served piping hot. We will be having dreams about those wings! We also had the chive cakes, a lovely and simple street food we really enjoyed. Banh mi with Chinese sausage was fantastic. New Owner is Thai so now they have a mix of Vietnamese and Thai food. Can't wait to try the other banh mi and the pho some time. Will definitely be back!

Been coming here for years. Great pho! Service spectacular, especially with to-go packaging which is nearly prepared and includes plum sauce and Sriracha! Devoured the dish, will add pics next visit. Highly recommend.

I have had the Banh Mi on two different occasions. First time it was great... Last night the Banh Mis were dry. I also decided to try the fish sauce wings and they came without sauce which was disappointing. Either way I will be trying again, and will be checking for sauce before I leave (or eating in person)

Food was great. Pho had tender beef, salad rolls were fresh with delicious peanut sauce. Curry was excellent as well. Only deducting a star for the price because I don’t think I’ve ever paid more than $12 for a bowl of pho, even a large one. Theirs was $16. I don’t live in Portland so maybe that is the standard here but in my experience pho is usually quite a bit cheaper.

This place has the best salad rolls. I’ve been many places and even made my own salad rolls but this place has it figured out! The service is amazing too I thought the clerk was extremely positive. I found my new roll spot!

Super delicious vietnamese dishes served tapas style. Try the crunchy and chewy fried sticky rice cakes with pork belly and pickled papaya. Amazing.

So disappointed. For $12 you'd think you'd at least get some rice or more than a cup of veggies. This may be the saddest main dish I've ever ordered in my life.

Had the Bún chả ages ago and it was ok but I don't think I'll be coming back.

Note: updated to add a star because my friend's pho was good, but still think the veggie dish was a huge letdown.

Best vietnamese food on town. I go here as much as I can.

I love this place so much and I've been there thrice. Twice for pickup and once for drinks. The first time I had the pleasure was when I delivered an order for Postmates from there and it smelled sooooo good, I knew I would try it out. And I did. I had ordered the "Chinese sausage & eggs banh mi" and the "Thit Kho" from Postmates ALL THE TIME. And when I say all the time, I mean there was a week where I ordered it daily. There was a time where they were out of the Chinese sausage and I scoured Portland to find an alternative option...I did not find an equal. And don't get me started on the Thit Kho. That is my all-time favorite dish and they are the only place I know that does it right.
Sadly I have moved from Portland but I will say when I return, I will satiate my need for proper Thit Kho and a breakfast banh mi again!

I ordered a tofu bahn mi and they served me chicken. It's dark in there so I took a bite and was very unpleasantly surprised. I mentioned it to the server and they immediately picked it up (and I assume threw it away) and made me a new one. I was very unimpressed with this. Snatching the dish from the table doesnt fix the fact that they served a vegetarian a meat dish. And the food could have been eaten by my friend, but instead went directly to waste. My first time trying to go I got there before they closed, but when i walked in the bartender just gave a "cut off" hand motion without even saying hello. And this visit the service was very slow. Otherwise, the food was good.

The food here is really good and unique. My favorite was the rare filet mignon tossed in lime juice with peanuts. I wouldn't recommend the sugarcane shrimp. It's kind of cakey and not how I envisioned. Also, the service was a bit slow. They really just had one person taking orders and working the bar. I would go back for a small bite.

Really great happy hour, and also open late. Hard to find restaurants in Portland open after 10pm but this one is a great choice.

Great ambience with fantastic and tasty bar food. Try all the small dishes/ plates so that you can savor each delicious meal! The cooks have definitely got something right. You can taste the different flavors in your mouth!

Stopped by here for some late night eats and were very impressed. Has a great variety of food, and asian eats. The mezcal cocktail was also really good. It's a great spot if you're looking for things like pho, oysters, Vietnamese sandwiches, and vermicelli bowls.
