Probably one of my favorite Thai restaurants in Bushwick and Brooklyn in general. The ambience is really nice, I love the furniture with the intricate fabric on the chairs and the tree placed in the middle of the restaurant gives it a fresh touch (even though it’s not a real tree) but it truly contributes to a more natural and relaxing atmosphere. The restaurant has lots of windows so the lighting is just perfect in my opinion, specially during day time. The hostess is decently welcoming as well as the staff, you feel welcomed but for some reason you get the feeling that they want you out of the restaurant as soon as possible (this could be for business purposes). When it comes to food the pineapple fried rice is one of my favorite dishes, every time I go I order it, the combination of the sweet pineapple with different herbs and seasonings create an explosion of flavors that you don’t want to miss. The Chicken satay is perfect to share, very tasty and grilled properlly. The peanut butter salad IS INCREDIBLE! my favorite salad, the dressing is very rich but it does not get too overwhelming. When it comes to service, I would say it’s good, but again, I feel that they really want you out as soon as your done with your food, which I understand but there are ways to let people know in a more assertive way in my opinion because sometimes you want to take a brief moment after eating to continue with your day ahead. Other than that, I highly recommend this place!
this is hands down my favorite thai place. living in south brooklyn it is such a trek to get to bushwick, but i’ve made the journey back multiple times just for this place.
it’s super cute and comfy with great prices. on weekdays until 4pm they have a great lunch special with a soup and salad which is super affordable. their pad thai is amazing and so is the pad see ew. every bite i take there is chicken, and a good portion of it at that.
their thai tea is $7 but the large cup is not just full of ice. the spice level is great too, a medium in their mango salad or drunken noodles is pretty hot. if you like acidic flavors i would definitely recommend the mango salad.
i’ve been to sooo many other thai restaurants especially those popular ones in the city like fish cheeks and soothr, and i always find myself coming back here
The food here is absolutely delicious! Oh my goodness, this is my second visit and it's still absolutely amazing! The staff are just so nice and incredibly polite. I just had dinner here and it feels like I'm transported straight to Thailand. The food is just that good. I highly, highly recommend it!
I love Thai food! However I was more impressed with the charming ambiance than the food itself. I was also pleasantly surprised with the level of service we received considering how PACKED the restaurant was on a Friday night. My partner ordered a pot of jasmine tea and the duck buns to start, which were likely an acquired taste because I couldn’t even bring myself to chew it, let alone swallow it. My partner ate 2 of the 3 duck buns, but agrees that they were the least appetizing plate of the night. We proceeded to order the green curry with mock duck, vegetable dumplings, and Tom Yum Gai soup. The vegetable dumplings were the undeniable star of the show. The green curry had a decent kick, but far from the best I’ve had. The soup was tasty, but it was served to me lukewarm (I had to send it back to be reheated). Overall, the food was edible but nothing to write home about.
The food was extremely salty. Both Pa Kee Mand and Kah Pao. We told the waiter about the problem, and he said he would tell this to kitchen but actually never went to kitchen and never gave us any feedback.
The dinning atmosphere is nice. Nice interior, but the food is just no no.
two friends suggested this thai restaurant & i'm happy AF they did!
first the ambiance. very cozy, intimate vibes with beautifully white tiled floors & wooden accents including a gorgeous bar area (with purse hooks!). in the center of the restaurant is a floral tree which subtly enhances the atmosphere. lots of blue accents carried throughout the interior design & even in the dish ware! (love the attention to detail).
we arrived, no res, only waited five minutes before we were seated. it was friday & pretty packed but the service was quick & efficient. (water glass stayed full!)
on to the food! we ordered family style, starting with papaya salad sans nuts & YOWZA, i just kept on eating it! the combination of flavors really packs a punch to the tastebuds. absolute fire, that salad! i'd spin the block for that ALONE. we also ordered the wings (delish), panang curry with shrimp (PHENOMENAL with the jasmine rice), & the pad thai with tofu (wouldn't get again). we had the chocolate lava cake for dessert which was warm & gooey but i wasn't a fan of the fruity pebbles on the plate. last but NEVER least, the thai iced tea was perfection! (& not small either!)
overall, great spot for a dinner date with friends or celebration dinner! i'd definitely return to try more of their menu!
We were sat at the bar because we didn’t have a reservation (was around 7:00pm on a Friday). Cocktails were VERY strong (and delicious). Food was good, we liked the chicken pad thai!
Drunken Noodles & Thai Iceed Tea
Was great 👍
Ordered delivery. Pad see ew with mock dock and chicken tom kha soup were both very nice. The tom kha gai soup especially was something I am looking forward to ordering again, the chicken in it was very tender and ample.
I ordered shrimp pad Thai and it came out in 5-10 minutes. This is when I knew something was wrong. As soon as I took one bite into the shrimp I knew it wasn’t cooked right, I then started to feel nauseous immediately and told the waiter this plate wasn’t finished, he insisted they make it over but I should’ve trusted my instincts and just say no. I let them cook it over it came back in 10 minutes again and still the shrimp tasted like it was still in the undercooked. I told them again it wasn’t good only having one bite and they insisted that the food is good and that no one ever had this reaction before. I had millions of Thai food and this was the worst one yet. Don’t not Recommend this at all instead go to Nora Thai on north 9
Attentive staff. Food was tasty.
favorite Thai restaurant.
The wonton soup was great, but the larb said was a bit coarse (almost like there was fine grit in it). Would not recommend that dish.
Tasty food and great serving sizes for the price, has some of the best Khao Soi in the area. Nice ambience with lots of seating and good service.

Best Thai food I have ever had!!
Take out. Delicious food. Creative dishes. Lovely!!
Forever Thai is one of my favorite restaurants in NYC and the people behind it donate every👏🏽 single 👏🏽week 👏🏽 to my local Buddhist temple. I’m forever grateful for being introduced to their food and it’s so delicious!!!
Super good service and delicious food. I have a wonderful night there. Worth to visit and enjoy the food.
This store very good service
Got delivery from here.
Spring rolls were nothing to write home about but were acceptable.
Good crab rangoon, it was the best part of the meal. Because it was delivery I threw it in my air fryer for a hot second and just got to enjoy it fully.
Pad kee mau was just. A weird one note flavor I've never experienced before and genuinely struggled to eat. Did not like and am actually tossing.
Pad ma Kue Yao was 70% rice, which was really disappointing to me? I don't mind somewhat smaller portion sizes with things that aren't primarily carb, but the industry standard is a container of the thing you ordered and a sid thing. Prices not high enough to be too mad on this front, I suppose. Flavor pretty decent
Tofu chunks were pretty good, the outer texture wasn't overly chewy or soft and they didn't feel underseasoned.
Did not like the salad dressing. It separated, as well as being just. Very aggressively peanut-y? Peanuts are certainly a common element of Thai food but "peanut butter and lettuce" isn't my favorite flavor combo. Salads also were also placed directly with hot soups in bag, so arrived wilted and warm.
Id rather give a 2.5 than a 2 star rating, but I don't have it in me to give a three.
I’ve been here over 60 times and this is the best thai food i have had in my life, consistently, every time - i’ve had pretty much everything on the menu and it’s all insanely good. the best thing imo is the massaman curry, but it’s pretty much down to personal taste. also the staff are truly the loveliest people. 11/10 restaurant!
My friends and I came here while my mom was visiting town and we had a beautiful experience. The service was top notch, everyone was friendly and attentive and our food came out in record time! The space is beautiful and relaxing and perfect for a nice intimate dinner with family and friends. Our food was fresh, delicious and the menu was accommodating to several dietary/allergy restrictions within our group. We enjoyed the red and green curry, labb gai, khao phad, spring rolls, veggie fried rice, wonton soup, Singapore noodles and hot tea. I highly recommend coming here and can’t wait to come back with more friends!!
I had an amazing anniversary dinner thanks to Tor. His service and energy was amazing and he took some really great pics for us. We’ll definitely be back.
great portion great taste of food for good pricee
AMAZING! The food it was super tasty and similar to the flavor you would find in Thailand. The vibes were great too. 10 of out 10 I would recommend 👌🏽
Fantastic food, wonderful staff. Best Tom Yum soup I have ever had in my life.
Food was fantastic!!!
and great but the staff seems untrained went there with my girl and than the amount of things I got came out to $100 + and the server that was serving us was ok until…….
The older women server was being really pushy for a tip
I told her I don’t got it….. than she stormed over into the back because I told her no basically ,than told the other server that originally was serving us to refuse a no and insisted we rather tip cash or card
LIKE NO IS NO !!!!!
You do not ever ask for tips
Customers money customer’s choices and rules it’s pretty simple
Plus on top of that I asked to pack the food so I can take it home and than she was taking her sweet time doing and did not even kno her way around the kitchen
Waitress that didn’t even serve us was negging for a tip. Ruined an otherwise very delicious meal.
this is hands down my favorite thai place. living in south brooklyn it is such a trek to get to bushwick, but i’ve made the journey back multiple times just for this place.

Unknown gem! Been coming to this spot for years. Never disappoints.
The food is really good and the price is reasonable. And the stuff is very nice.
All time favorite Thai food place to order for delivery!! I still have to visit the actual restaurant, but the food is always so fresh and delicious.
Very flavorful dishes. I highly recommend the chicken wonton soup and vegetable dumplings.
How doth one say “haven” in Thai? that’s what I’m saying about this place! everything from delicious food and teas- peace lemonade! To the plastic straw and beautifully curated space. Music volume-flawless. Wait staff was wonderful. Thank heaven the greek place down the road was closed. hidden gem!! Forever thankful for this place!!!
I have been here now multiple times and let me tell you, I think this is my favorite restaurant in all of NYC.
The ambience -
The decoration is so lovely and charming! From the tree in the middle, the chairs, the table setups and the beautiful bar, everytime I go I'm just looking at how well they designed everything.
The service -
Nothing short of great service every single time I've gone.
And most importantly, the food -
Is AMAZING. I've tried multiple of their curries (the red, green, yellow, and indian) and they are all just sooo delicious. The level of spicy (for the curries that are spicy) is always perfect and this place has my favorite curries in all of NYC. The summer rolls appetizer is one of my favorites and I get it every single time. Definitely try the Thai Iced tea if that's up your alley!
I'm slowly making my way through the whole menu because it's just so good that I want to try everything.
Seriously if you're considering checking this place out I cannot recommend it enough!!! 10/10
Excellent place for you and your girl to go through on a Saturday afternoon. Prices are extremely reasonable period and the food is amazing. I highly recommend you guys check out the chicken wings
My lunch Singapore noodles w tofu came with a soup and salad dressed in peanut sauce. The noodles were delicious, I found a surprise baby corn. I also enjoy their tom yum soup and 🦀 Rangoons (geoy hor cheese). Definitely recommend.
im not sure if this place is usually busy or not but when i went the atmosphere was very calm, seemed like there were locals around the area that came here for some brunch/lunch but honestly felt super underrated. the food was absolutely delicious with strong flavors and spices that we don’t see so much in other restaurants of the city anymore for affordable prices too with good portions. the staff was also super friendly and respectful with almost every staff greeting you as you enter or when you’re leaving
It's an amazing find... food, service and price...
Phenomenal! Authentic Thai food at a fair price with great service and a lovely atmosphere.
The service was amazing. They went above and beyond to accommodate us. I had the Pad Thai Lobster Tail and it was so flavorful. The lychee martini was made to perfection. Will definitely be back. Gorgeous vibe indoors.
The food was amazing !!! Po pia thod , the mango sticky rice and guay tire Singapore 10/10 and the staff incredible !! This place was a really good surprise for us!
We went in and asked the waiter if we could choose our seats? She told us that our seats had been reserved, and asked another waiter, then told us we could sit in the seat we wanted. The waiter was very perfunctory. When we asked her for tissues, she didn't get them for us right away. Instead, she was talking to others. no one came to serve us when we were eating. There was too much sugar in the food. It was too sweet. You had to drink water all the time. When we asked to pay, we had to wait for a long time before someone gave us the bill. The waiter kept ignoring the customer's request , bad experience, would not Go again
Not the best acoustics for when it gets crowded, which is common, because the food is so good.
Great food, great vibe, great staff!
Duck was dry and too sweet.
I like to lead with I’ll only rate a place if I genuinely hate them or absolutely love them. This has been a long time coming but this spot is by far top 5 DOA Thai spots. I rarely if ever repeat places mostly because they either disappoint or are just meh.
Not the case with Forever Thai! The food is just bangin’ and the drinks are phenomenal. Staff is cool and always on point. Do yourself a favor and explore the menu but definitely try any and all of their pork dishes. They are just *chef’s kiss* and a must are the spring rolls and their dipping sauce. The cocktails are good on their own if you just wanna get drinks. Overall a must go to spot and if I’m craving Thai I’ll drive from LI to Forever Thai no questions asked.
I make sure to stop every time I make a trip to the city! Friendly staff and food is super delicious!
One of my favorite Thai restaurants in NYC. The curry is to die for, the staff is amazing and the drinks are very well done.
Amazing food!
Please make your food spicy
This place use to be perfect. The past couple of times no matter how much you ask please make it spicy…. No spice at all. It’s such a shame cause the ingredients, service and cook is so good but it’s missing that spice element. I end up using all there sides of chilies but it’s just a condiment and isn’t really integrated into the cook.
I feel like other people ruined it cause they couldn’t handle it and complained too much.
Love you forever Thai, just miss the heat.
Wonderful food and service
best thai food restaurant omg they are so kind and the food is delicious delicious 😋
Tor and the Forever Thai team make some of the best food I’ve EVER EATEN from green curry to duck egg fishballs to sticky coconut rice with mango and tapioca. it is made with love — we love them!!
Super yummy!! I got pad Thai and it was so good. I try a lot of Thai food and this was very flavorful and staff was very attentive and friendly!
Good food and good people
Quiet.. food was great
decent
Food and restaurant is great but they are very greedy with tips and they will force u to tip and the fact even when you do “no tip” at the counter, a lady will come and ask for it and miscommunication will happen due to language barrier, then they will take tip and charge from the card, u used to pay the food for. It’s embarrassing in my opinion to even do this especially when it’s a family owned restaurant.
Literally my favorite restaurant ever. Get the crispy pork & broccoli.
Veg options aren't great and too expensive for what it is
Delicious! We got the green curry and the crispy duck. Both were great but duck was incredible and next level — would highly recommend it.
Dropped by for lunch on break from work. WOW. What a slam dunk in design aesthetic and continuity throughout materials, service, food, and value. Decrease 🎼 volume and increase soup heat and it was the perfect visit. I actually look forward to returning for a drink and dinner sometime. Lovely 🙏🏻
Food is delicious, highly recommend!
We ordered takeout, hoping to have it delivered, but they did not have a delivery person this evening. Food was amazing!
NICE & Delicious Thai food
We got catering from forever Thai, the food is wonderful. And it made me feel like home. Every ingredients are very original as I had in Thailand. The taste is mild but still represent authentic Thai food. Love it and appreciate the chef’s performance.
Excellent in every way. Vey real Thai food!!
Excellent food, nice vibes
The food here is absolutely delicious! Oh my goodness, this is my second visit and it's still absolutely amazing! The staff are just so nice and incredibly polite. I just had dinner here and it feels like I'm transported straight to Thailand. The food is just that good. I highly, highly recommend it!

Very good Thai food. Reminded me a lot of Thailand. Spices and flavors were very authentic. I appreciated the pickled birds eye chilis & other hot sauces. The Yum Woon Sen was fabulous. Would love to return and try other dishes.
Stratosphere, baby. Get in here.
Me and my husband love this place. Food is great!
Everything on the menu tastes amazingly and has great portions
I hate leaving this review but I have to in order to caution others. I was out for the day shopping and decided to grab a bite to eat here. Now, let me first note that the staff were kind, I had a great server, and the food came out in a reasonably time. I ordered the shrimp Penang curry, a usual staple dish for me. As soon as I left the restaurant I began to feel nauseous. I thought nothing of it and attested it to motion sickness in the Uber.
As soon as I got home, all hell broke loose. I began vomiting continuously (in total I threw up 7-8 times), had other issues (I.e. it was coming out from the other end), felt clammy and immediately lost hydration. Had I not stabilized, we would have gone to the hospital.
Before there’s a question of if anything else could have made this happen…no. I had only eaten a piece of toast that morning and didn’t even drink alcohol with my meal. My symptoms didn’t present until about 20 minutes after I ate.
I’m saddened because I enjoyed the food and at least the atmosphere, but I am traumatized by what this did to me and my stomach. I’m on a strict diet for the next few days to hopefully reset everything and want others to know in advance before eating here this customers experience.
The meat was tender. Didn't like the puff pastry one. Not what I was expecting.
This is very good place to come and enjoy a taste of Asian-Thai food. The quality on Their service, the attention of the people who work there, the vibe of the place, the decoration and above everything the food is delicious. The specialties of the chef, the entrees, the curry is so tasteful. Definitely a good place to have a nice time.
Great Thai! Beautiful interior :)
Very delish, fresh and clean food. An amazing Tom Ka Gai, an even better beef Masaman curry and a balanced and tasty Mai Tai made my night. Super friendly staff too! We’ll be back when we’re in the area again.
Next level
Forever Thai is located in the corner of Flushing and Wilson Ave in Bushwick Brooklyn. Big windows outside reveal a beautiful faux camellia tree smack in the middle. That’s it. We must go give it a try sit right under that tree. The host greeted us with a big smile and walked us over under the tree. We sat down and ordered a Thai iced tea and coffee. Had to take a break from alcohol even though they have an amazing selection of cocktails. Their friendly and attentive serve took our order and food came out within minutes satisfying our hunger. Food and ingredients are fresh and delicious. Everything tastes extra good under that beautiful tree in a modern, fresh, and cozy vibe. Definitely worth a try!
My first time at this establishment and the drunken noodles with shrimp is amazing! Spicy enough and fresh. The shrimp was slightly over done but jumbo in size. I plan on trying the rest of the menu.
This places decor is so nice and the food isn't that expensive either for NYC
I highly recommend this place ! Very good food and the staff is awesome !
Gorgeous restaurant with great food. The crab rangoon appetizer is delicious and the green curry had lots of inclusions. The place is so beautiful, and there are lots of notable fine details - nice flatware, nice soap in the bathroom, flowers on the table. Very pleasant and good vibes from the servers. Would definitely come again!
Forever Thai Forever
Good food
My favorite local take out spot and casual dinner place. I order the lunch specials all the time but also have a soft spot for the panang curry.
Everything was delicious!
L'endroit est magnifique et le Pad Thai, la soupe et la salade sont incroyable ! Vraiment allez y les yeux fermés.
Ordered delivery through Uber Eats. Everything was delicious and was portioned nicely! Crab Rangoons were our favorite!
There was a piece of chicken in my Thai red curry (Gaeng Dang) after I specifically requested vegan. So disappointed. I haven’t eaten meat in years and to find chicken in it was disgusting to say the least. I tried called the restaurant and no one answered. Beware if you have food allergies!
awesome portions and everything is absolutely delicious
The Tom kha gai (coconut chicken soup) was some of the most flavorless and watery thai food I’ve ever had. I sent it back and they told me I should’ve had them fix it. How?? Not even salt would have helped. I can’t speak on the other dishes.
Some of the best Thai food we have ever had! The flat noodle dish was unbelievable and, I don’t think I’ve had better crab Rangoon’s. The service is outstanding, and the location is great. Can’t recommend highly enough.
This thai food restaurant is EXTRAORDINARY!
The massamun curry chicken is IMPECCABLE!!!
the service with Sandy is above and beyond!!! the entire staff is amazing. it's an outstanding experience!!
My fav spot
Amazing food and service. Rly nice aesthetic inside
Easily the Best Thai Spot in Bushwick, staff is always super friendly, the food is delicious at a reasonable price, we always go with the Mango salad and the Pad Kee Mau, both are excellent. Can get very busy some nights so never hurts to call and make a reservation!
I ordered the Chinese broccoli with crispy pork and fried rice . It was excellent . Food is so flavorful , feel exactly like food in Thailand. The restaurant is super clean and service is awesome. The servers are very nice and very polite. I hardly recommend this place
Usually I love Thai food spots and the staff is always friendly. For some reason this place the staff was a little rude and short with me. Seating took forever, everyone seemed to have an attitude with the exception of one person. The food was exceptional and very good. One more thing that made me come on here to review. They decided to charge a service fee and did not let us k ow. My husband was about to double tip. A lot of people are unaware of this law but in NYC it is illegal to charge a service fee for parties under 5 people. It is not okay for establishments to do this but also doing this without notifying is even worse. I was appalled by this action. Beware for future diners.
this place truly rocks. forever thai forever
Been here once a week. Cozy place , authentic Thai food. The owner is so friendly and willing to help.
Love the service and spicy food … padthai is the best
