Laid-back, red-hued eatery serving basic Thai standards such as curries, noodles & rice dishes.
Had the Pad-Khee Mao with the seafood combination paired with a perfect glass of wine. What a meal! Had to keep myself from licking the plate clean. Loved the proportions of seafood to veggies to noodles: very balanced and fresh. Service is quick and very friendly, the interior is gorgeous and comfortable. Music is also π can't wait to come back.
Nice Thai place. The waitress was really nice and welcoming. I got a dish they don't have at my local place, Kua Gai, which was great, flavorful but not overpowering. I added some update menus since the price seems to have gone up significantly since the other menus were posted. But it was worth the cost I'd say.
Driving down 101 so stopped here quickly.
They were nice and the food came out quickly.
Definitely one of the least exciting Pad Thai Iβve ever had. Iβm used to the peanut sauce, crushed peanuts, lime wedges, cilantro of which it had none of those thingsβ¦..
It was like a fast and cheap version of Pad Thai. I was pretty sad
No credit cards or debit cards here. Had some spring rolls. They were over cooked. Wife had the Pad Woon Sen. She really liked it. Said it filled her up. I had the Crab Fried Rice. I wasn't at all impressed. To much rice not enough crab for the price. Plus, I was still hungry when we left.
Came for the gluten free curry. Delicious. Food was good. Came out decently fast. But the service.... The worst service I've ever had. When we walked in, they didn't look that busy. They had a big top and some smaller tables and some to-go orders. But the one lady running it could not handle. She was so incredibly rude when we walked in she was already upset and scrambling. She yelled at us to "SIT AT TABLE TWO".
This was our first time ever. How do we know what they number their tables? She just angrily kept repeating to sit at table two. So we sat at what we presumed to be table two while she got our menus. Anyways, after we got to sitting, she never came back until she just basically demanded our FOOD order.
She never asked us what we wanted to drink, eventually brought water. Then when she brought our food we finally asked for our drink options!
So backwards. The service was absolutely terrible. We almost went somewhere else but time retrained us. We wanted to walk out numerous times. They allowed obnoxious phone conversations from other guests and there was an obscene amount of crying screaming children. Children with tables and music and games playing out loud. What an awful experience this was!!!
If you have children please be kind to the other people in the restaurant! Don't play games and movies and shows out loud. Don't let your kid go crazy and be obnoxious. Teach your children manners on how to eat out properly in public. Please.
Thanks for the terrible experience but good food.
Green curry was delicious.
Pad thai was tasty though not the best I've eaten, golden fried rice was "the best fried rice I've ever had" per my husband. Welcoming and comfortable; highly recommend!
This place is phenomenal! Anytime we are in Florence this spot is a must do! Service is always great and everything we have had on the menu has been incredible!

Love the food and the waitresses
Nice Thai place. The waitress was really nice and welcoming. I got a dish they don't have at my local place, Kua Gai, which was great, flavorful but not overpowering. For small town Thai food, this place is really very good.
The duck curry is tasty, and we asked them to add pumpkin which made it special. Mussamun curry is even better, with a more complex flavor and actual peanuts in the curry. Our friends each had a stir fry dish and the ingredients are fresh and not overcooked. The Pad Thai is well prepared. Everything has a lot of meat and the portions are big. Lastly, the mango and sticky rice is really surprising, with purple rice and fresh mangos. Everything is a bit sweeter than I'm used to - missing the vinegar or citrus that balances the sweet -and there is no spice, which can be good for most pallettes. Otherwise the food is prepared quickly, served with a smile, and worth a visit.
Incredible food and fantastic service!
Made just right, juicy and succulent, great place atmosphere , and hostess. Food came just in time, and great location next to a great price hotel and 7 11, everything you need here, good place to stop on your travels!
Food is delicious. Waitress was attentive.
I see a lot of good reviews. I spent $38 for a salad and eggplant stir fry, and it was pretty bad. I won't be going back . Way too expensive for the poor quality and amount of food.
We were seated right away and the service was great. Food came out quickly and was very good. Several gluten free options. Massaman curry and noodle delight were both good and the coconut ice cream was a large portion and very delicious! Atmosphere was a standard casual restaurant. Would recommend if youβre in the area!
Very good food
Amazing little noodle shop with tasty food, pleasant atmosphere, and friendly service. Our server was extremely helpful when it came to ordering for our young kids, and made sure their food came fist. I love wide noodle dished, and theirs is the best I've tried in both Washington and Oregon. We went on a recommendation from friends, and it was well deserved!
We arrived late but staff still made us feel welcomed. While not very spicy, the flavors were amazing. We tried some new dishes from our normal Thai picks and we weren't disappointed.
Driving down 101 so stopped here quickly.
They were nice and the food came out quickly.

Fantastic dining experience! Authentic flavors and cozy atmosphere. Canβt miss!
Incredible. I got the tofu and brocoli panang curry, and my partner got the tofu and brocolli pad se ew. Both dishes were phenomenal. By far the best vegetarian food option I've had in florence. Update: get the mango sticky rice.
My partner and I were both throughly impressed and pleased with our experience eating here. They were incredibly busy, yet the service was speedy, and welcoming. Coming off of a few days of camping, we were desperate for a hot meal, and my goodness Best Thai Cuisine delivered.
It's easily some of the best Pad See Ew I've ever had, and my partner, who is vegan, not only had an array of options, but also sang the praisies of the veggie portions! They do not skimp out the way we've previously encountered with other places! Absolutely going to be a must stop whenever we're in town!
Awesome restaurant! Delicious food and great portions.
What a lovely family restaurant. The hostess on the weekends, Mi, is so happy, friendly, fast and accurate. She is a real treasure. Beware though, the menu is huge. Don't get hung up on getting exactly the right thing the first time, just come back again. Also hot is clearly labeled hot so ask for mild if you no likky hot. Everything is good.
We stopped here on a drive down the coast and the spice level was perfect! Definitely worth the stop or an order for take out if you are in the area.
Horrible over priced bas service
On the road for a few days. Looking for something different. Was NOT expecting this place to be as great as it was. Everything was so delicious! One waitress for like 10 tables, but other than that, it was the best food on my entire oregon coastline trip! Must have tbh.
Great good and exceptional service!
We have eaten here a few times now. They are delicious and consistent. Their prices are comparable to most Thai restaurants.
Great fresh veggies, spring rolls, all good with friendly service and good prices! Great place always.
Really fast traditional food. A whole lot of options bad ti was a little sweet for me but the chicken saute was tasty.
Called ahead for takeout, person was rushed and rude didn't get any condiments or plastic utensils and the food was so bland it didn't have any flavor
This is a Great Thai restaurant. Staff is very friendly. The food is fantastic, and you get large portions. Definitely recommend.
Great taste and great customer service
The worst Thai restaurant I have ever been too.
Great people, good food and friendly personal service
Excellent and delicious food, the best we've had. Went on a Sat evening and the little place was packed. Waiting wasnβt long. Only one waitress and she handled it like a pro. Siting people, cleaning, charging, taking orders, bring food out and all with a positive attitude. Bravo for her. Will definitely be back to try some more food. π―
No lie, this is the Best Thai food you can get in Florence and perhaps all of Oregon. Salmon Spicy Green Beans is worth the trip from anywhere. Peanut curry with shrimp was my wife's favorite. Tom Yung w/ shrimp was excellent. With just 1 server it looked like the wait would be forever, but overall service was great. Prices very reasonable for large portions. Trust me, you won't be disappointed!
This place has authentic Thai food. The chicken satay was so tasty, the green bean salmon was good but I found it a bit too oily and the spicy chicken noodle was really good. Would definitely recommend this place.
Great Pad Thaiπ±π will for sure come back again. It was super busy but the lady was a trooper!!
Great place to try a full menu of tasty Thai cuisine in a nice setting with outdoor seating for those many nice days in Florence.
This place can be hit or miss. Some days, the servings are good, and sometimes not so much. Havenβt had very good luck making large orders (6+people).
Itβs not horrible, but could be better.
Amazing food & fair prices. The staff is wonderful and the menu options seem endless. Everything came out quick, hot and delicious.
For people with light sensitivity the OH table lighting was very bright, daylight led. My advice is to ask for the window seat.
The atmosphere is calm with a giant palm plant near the door. Walls are brightly colored and there are gorgeous pieces of Thai art a round the space.
If you like your heat with sweet, their sauce wonβt disappoint. But, if you donβt want it sweet ask for half sauce. Go for medium spice, at least, if you want to taste and feel the heat. And try their homemade everything!!
There is soft music (non English) playing and the sounds & smells from the kitchen fill this small family restaurant.
Came for the gluten free curry. Delicious. Food was good. Came out decently fast. But the service.... The worst service I've ever had. When we walked in, they didn't look that busy. Thanks for the terrible experience but good food.
Green curry was delicious.
Excellent Thai food with wonderful customer service. We Ordered the pad see ew, Panang curry, and pineapple fried rice - the food was cooked quickly and it was all delicious.
As someone who likes spice I think it could have been a bit more spicy, but food was still great nonetheless.
Restaurant takes all forms of pay, besides Amex. Definitely Worth the choice.
Amazing food!
Very welcoming staff even at 10pm!
No credit cards or debit cards here. Had some spring rolls. They were over cooked. Wife had the Pad Woon Sen. She really liked it. Said it filled her up. I had the Crab Fried Rice. I wasn't at all impressed. To much rice not enough crab for the price. Plus, I was still hungry when we left.
yummy! and the service was great π
Thai is my absolute favorite & I get it everywhere I travel - I swear this is the best thai I've ever had! I've been here twice & tried multiple dishes (yellow curry, golden crab app, crab fried rice, drunken noodles) & they're all amazing. Service is always quick & most kind!
I had the Spicy Noodles. Absolutely amazing!
Ordered some delicious take-out which was ready promptly. The green curry and lemongrass chicken pad thai were both excellent. Especially on a rainy day, this really hit the spot!
Good Teriyaki chicken with white rice and Drink Thai Iced Tea taste good π yum
Food and service was phenomenal!
4-12-24 1st date, very busy, parking kinda packed, food was okay
Been here several times. Top knotch food and service, reasonable prices considering. Some of the best Thai food I have been able to find.
We ordered from Best Thai for the first time last night, and it might be the last.
We ordered through Coastal Food Delivery - I've had very good success ordering through them - this was not a delivery problem.
I was really surprised that the rice for each dish was in a *plastic bag* in a Chinese Togo container. The hot rice had turned mushy with this delivery method - so disappointing. They actually charge an additionsal FOUR dollars for brown rice or sticky rice too. While the curry had a good flavor, there wasnβt much chicken and the veggies were painfully over cooked. The crab ragoons were over fried and dry.
I really wanted to enjoy this meal, but I didnβt. Very expensive meal too.
I would highly recommend Organic Noodle for much superior quality and pricing.
Great selection of authentic Thai cuisine. Friendly staff.
Great Salad Rolls, with homemade peanut sauce, and Drunken Noodles.
Very nice place, good service and great food!
Love the food, good price for quality, nice people. It is the only Thai food in the area, and better than I expected. Is it the best anywhere? Not really, but Iβm from San Francisco I do love the garlic and peppers and the pineapple fried rice. It is the best local Thai food youβll find, with wonderful people too.
The only thing good about florence
Great!
Some of the best Thai weβve had. So good we drive all the way from Eugene..Specifically for the Crispy basil chicken and Tom kha soup
Favorite place to eat. Food is always excellent, service is good and it's affordable. The Adaman soup is the best soup ever, and when I'm sick, it's the best medicine. So thankful we have them in Florence. Never had anything I didn't like.
Excellent food and superb service! 10/10
It's a nice place, service is good, my only complaint is that over the years the meat portion in curries has drastically decreased. It's about two ounces of meat in an $18 curry.
The dishes that cost $10 a plate two years ago now cost upwards of $23 dollars a plate (a rate of increase almost 11 times the current rate of inflation for the same period), and portions have gotten smaller. On top of that the quality of this restaurant has declined pretty substantially in the last year. Wait times are longer, and the seasonings seem to have changed slightly in a way that negatively impacts flavor. The food is still good, just not AS good. And oddly they can't seem to get spicy dishes right anymore, no matter how spicy you request it is not going to come out very spicy. As someone who enjoys spicy food, and expects that in a spicy Thai dish this is very disappointing. I would no longer recommend this restaurant. Prices have gotten absurd and the size and quality of dishes had declined to the point that it no longer makes sense, sadly (this used to be my favorite restaurant in town).
Excellent choice #110 perfect! Large portion!
First time eating Thai it was amazing curry π
Delightful waitress
Amazing Thai food. Delicious, service is quick and their server is really good. Highly recommend this Thai restaurant if you are in this area.
The food is flavorful, itβs the only Thai in town so it is the best Thai in town π
The crab wonton is good as were the steamed dumplings. The Pad Thai was good just not as spicy as I would have thought from a medium spice level. There was no spice to it at all.
FANTASTIC food. Get the Drunken Noodles.
Looking for Thai food and you're in Florence, stop here. Very clean restaurant. Fast and friendly staff. Amazing menu, so much to choose from. The decor is very pleasant to look at. Great tasting food and prices are easy on the wallet.
Great food, great service
Lots of seafood options. I had the ginger salmon and it was great! All the veggies were cooked well and the ginger seasoning was tasty.
Very good
A great place and totally unexpected for a small town!
Absolutely fantastic! Truly the Best Thai Cuisine. The lemongrass pad thai variation is delicious. The thai iced tea is the perfect sweetness. The service is quick and friendly. The atmosphere is welcoming and inviting. I enjoyed my experience!
The waitress was sweet, food came out fast, but it was alright especially for the price you pay. I ordered the Pad Thai and it tasted like nothing. It barely had any sauce, came with sprouts and chickens and thatβs pretty much it. It was a bummer, I love Thai food and was expecting 5 star quality. If I return, maybe Iβll try something different.
Don't get anything with crab on it, they will charge you for it and barely give you any.
Food was delicious, but the service was poor and the waitress had a horrible attitude.
Not up to the mark. My wife and I have had our fair share of Thai food over the last 20 years and the food here fell short of expectations.
I ordered Khao Soi, which is my favorite noodle soup. I asked it to be made at the highest spice level. I did not like it. It was not spicy enough, but more importantly it did not have the fried noodles that are the signature of the dish. I chose not to finish it.
My wife ordered Pad Khi Mao with seafood, which was also sub-par. The seafood was chewy and not nicely cooked.
I understand this review is very different from the ones that I read before deciding to go here. I hope future customers have a better experience than I did.
All was good, but the three old guys dressed up like women at the table across from me made it uncomfortable. Not a fan of that movement.
Very very good Thai food. Lives up to its name.
Good Thai food. Not the best. I took the kids and it was a good expirence. The food was good worth trying.
My husband and I canβt wait for Best Thai to reopen! We miss going there regularly. Their food is amazing and the is staff very friendly. Sure hope they get their repairs completed SOON!
Really enjoyed my dinner & very reasonable price!
Name is misleading.
Excellent food and very good service! Chef does a great job cooking things just right. Bathrooms are clean.
Awesome food
Just ok.
Bemerkenswertes Restaurant!
Excellent service very tasty food over filling
Extremely expensive for a lunch service at a Thai restaurant. Average was $20 a plate for lunch....? Wow. Good food, but be ready for the check.
Great Thai food. Lucky to have them in our small town
Appropriately named restaurant.
I went with my family of 6 and it was sooo delicious all the food had so much flavor. The waitress was so very friendly it is a nice delicious local restaurant would definitely recommend
Friendly staff, well decorated, good food
Genuinely-- the BEST Thai Food ever. We ate here twice in a matter of 3 days. I miss it everyday. I wish they shipped to Indiana.
Lovely food, and great service.
Crab rice and jumping string beans everyone needs to have these 2 dishes. Wow.
Great food, excellent service!!! Great prices!
Not bad. Tasted authentic. 5 stars are for ritzy restaurants or exceptional food if it's not ritzy. You can absorb atmosphere but you cant eat it.
Love the salad rolls but not the ants and long black hairs they keep including. Prices went way up also. So disappointed π
Our server had THE best personality! She could teach a lot of others how to provide excellent, friendly service. We hadn't been here for a while, but we'll be back again soon. Everything was delicious and we'll enjoy 2nds tomorrow!
not vegan friendly
Granddaughters birthday
Good spicy food on request Good service π
Sweet surprise in Florence. A quality Thai restaurant with a big menu. Great flavors, quality curry, the eggplant were well-prepared and cooked. Service was attentive and very friendly, and it's a cute little restaurant, intimate. Florence has some surprisingly good restaurants - Best Thai is one of them.
This serves some of the best Thai food that I have ever eaten. We had papaya salad and the seafood pad thai and it was wonderful!
Ordered Tom Kah soup to go. When I got home and opened it I saw a bug. I called the restaurant to let them know what happened. She interrupted me to tell me she would refund my money and hung up. I used to love this restaurant, but that was an awful experience. I wonβt be back.
Holy smokes, this really is the best Thai cuisine. The food is so very very good. Great for gluten-free eaters too! Definitely would come back here again!
πΈπβ¨
Excellent Thai food.
First time here, wanted to introduce my granddaughter to Thai food. We ordered, Crab Puffs, Potstickers, Salad Rolls and Chicken Pad Thai. It was very expensive. I have had way better Peanut Sauce and Salad Rolls. Everything else was yummy. Most likely, wonβt go back. Just SO expensive.
I live in Thailand half of every year. This is the best Khao Soi ive had in the USA. Try the larb...they are from Issan!
Very nice folks
Kinda expensive for Thai curry. Happy I got it togo so I could add salt and chicken flavoring to make it taste better. Never been a fan of the raw chicken boiled in the sauce, just no flavor. Pork was meh.
Order was ready quick and proprietor was very nice. Food was decent.
Great find! Delicious food and great service :) definitely will come back.
Menu is very Extensive. Best to know and ask about choice. All is al a kart. Spendy and service ok.
Overall, very good! Flavors were excellent, but the dishes were a bit unrefined in presentation. Decor inside and out is dated and worn, but acceptable.
Highly recommend their homemade coconut ice cream.
TL;DR: The perfect name.
This was my first time to Florence, Oregon! I was in town with a large group visiting from out of the country. This restaurant handled our unannounced group of 8 with a massive language barrier so well! They were kind, attentive, understanding, and flexible.
We were sat very quickly. The menu is very expansive! Tons of options. We went for lunch and just a heads up - they only have a dinner menu. (Not a problem at all, just want to alert others.)
I got the chicken fried rice and it was so yummy! The rice was fluffy, the chicken was very tender and flavorful, it wasn't greasy like some places can get. Definitely recommend! The rest of the group got varieties of noodles, beef pho, dumplings, shrimp, salad and more. It was all very yummy! We were able to easily request chopsticks, hot sauces, and soy sauce.
Can't wait to come back!
Solid food. I ordered take out. The waitress did a fantastic job making sure everything was there and was super friendly. My curry could have been more curry. And I think I got the typical, yeah sure, white boy. You don't really want very hot. Lol
Expensive for mediocre food.
Great food and good service. I would recommend to anyone.
My friend who lives in Florence, OR recommended this restaurant and I visited there. I ordered Drunken Noodles. The lady waitress asked me how much spicy level I like. I usually order "mild" level but I mentioned "no spice" this time. It was great!! I loved the dish I ordered.
Pretty darn good just had the basics though soβ¦
Always good food and service! I'd definitely eat here again.
We had Shakes and Fudge. Both are awesome. Very local made and totally enjoyed it
Tried them for the first time today. The food was amazing, the server was great. I will definitely be coming more often.
Good food. Friendly staff. Clean.
Took 60min to get an order to-go during Monday lunch. When I checked on it I was told they serve all the dine in customers first, including any that arrive after us. Then they asked if we were in a hurry as if waiting an hour for stir fry veggies and pad thai was normal. Pad thai was alright, there wasnβt a lime wedge or crushed peanuts and βadding broccoliβ was only 3 pieces. Otherwise food was fine, adjusted to white palettes for sure.
Understaffed, overpriced and just average (or even a bit below average) as Thai food goes. Was expecting more based on the reviews here.
Great food! In a town that struggles with the summer surge the staff at Best of Thai were awesome! Food was tasty and ready quickly. Everyone loved the crab wontons and yellow tofu and broccoli curry.
