We chose the cashew chicken with fried rice and an egg roll, along with the General tso with fried rice and egg roll.

Both meals were good. Lunch portions were good and the egg rolls were crisp.

The fried rice was a little dry and the egg roll looked pretty much like white fillings- or pale green. No carrots or anything I could easily identify as meat. They were okay.

The space was clean and bathrooms well kept.

This is a plaza right on the outskirts of Westerville in the Blendon township vicinity.

The meals did not come with more than 1 small napkins per person and no fortune cookies. They did provide the standard sauces.

Great service and food.

The sesame chicken was great! The Chicken Mei Fun was flavorful but way to mushy and juicey for my taste; my husband loved it... I called to confirm (I told the nice person that took my order that I have a shellfish allergy) that my food was not prepared with shellfish... I mean who wants to have to stab themself with an EpiPen and end up in the ER for hours to be observed smh gave 3 stars bc the person who answered the phone that said it's not his problem without listening to why I was calling.

I said "Hello, I just picked up my order and wanted to confirm that my food was not cooked with seafood/ shellfish", Him: " You pay", ME: " Yes Sir I did", his 1st two responses were, " not my problem". That is unacceptable, rude, and unprofessional.

Great dishes, good service and good prices

Got carryout for dinner. Sweet & Sour Chicken and Shrimp Fried Rice. Let me just say... Any thing breaded you will not get any meat. The sweet and sour chicken was basically sweet and sour DOUGH....VERY DISAPPOINTED! The shrimp fried rice was ok... Not tons of veggies nor eggs, but the taste was good. The egg rolls are the same as the sweet and sour chicken... absolutely no chicken or veggies. Silk Road you should be ashamed! Beware when you order. Second time trying...last time going there. Will venture else where!

We tried Silk Road for take out because it’s close. The food was prepared fast and packaged well. However, our experience was not good. The cashew chicken was decent, mild flavor, diverse vegetables and cooked nicely. The lettuce wraps were horrible. We couldn’t figure out what kind of meat was used. Very odd texture, flavor and appearance. The fried rice was the worst we have ever had anywhere. Basically white rice with soy sauce. Really bad. Egg rolls and spring rolls were on par if you’ve got late evening munchies. That’s the best I can say about it.

Gentlemen at front desk unhelpful. Seemed like he didn’t want us in there buying food!

Don’t waste your time

Ordered sesame shrimp from Silk Road on Sunbury the menu stated jumbo shrimp lightly breaded when in reality it was actually popcorn shrimp with 90 - 95% breading this was totally disappointing since they changed $15.95 for this gross food just trying to inform everyone so they don't get ripped off!!

Basic Chinese style cooking for the pepper steak. I guess they call it pepper because there are bell peppers? I thought it was the spice.

Okay, we love, love, love the almond cookies. Got hooked on the chicken and vegetables and rice noodles and chicken, but can’t leave without ten packages of almond cookies!! Better than San Francisco or at least as good:)

Ordered from door dash. They didn't supply utensils to eat. I'm in a hotel. So now I'm watching my food get cold.

The guy asks me how my meal was. I said, "ok but your pop is flat and really hard to drink. You should check the carbonation on it"

He says, oh ok, then proceeds to charge me for the flat pop... terrible.

The pad thai is good. It's the perfect level of spicy for me (someone who has a very low spice tolerance). The sesame chicken is good too. The chicken lo mein was too bland, in my opinion.

Best Asian food on the east side! The pan fried pork dumplings and egg rolls are amazing! Orange chicken, pad thai, and general tso are must haves. Quality of the meat is head and shoulders above other restaurants, and the food isn’t over oily like many others. Try try try!!

Wonderful waiter, but my wife got food poisoning and I found body hair in my food. I do not recommend this place.

Rude staff

Food is very good.. One of the better restaurants here in the Columbus, Westerville area..
I just at least 2 shrimps in my shrimp egg rolls..:)

It was good. The hot pepper shrimp could’ve been a lot hotter in the (Dragon and Phoenix) but it’s always my go-to meal when I do decide to have something different for dinner.

I was here once a few years ago and had great three cup chicken. Today, I had Dragon & Phoenix. That's General Tso's chicken and shrimp. The sauce on the shrimp was like if someone tried to make cocktail sauce but failed and ended up with bad runny ketchup. General Tso's chicken is supposed to have some heat to it. I could see the pepper flakes but I couldn't taste them. The fried rice was bland and had nothing but rice and a bit of soy sauce for color, but not enough to taste, and a little black pepper. The pepper was a nice addition but it was overall bland and made me think they figured out how to make it by simply hearing someone say but not describe fried rice and trying to replicate it. The egg roll was equally simplistic but it was at least good.

Fantastic service, food was quickly made and was hot, fresh and delicious! Good prices. Best crab rangoon EVER!

While I normally have a great experience at Silk Road Asin Cuisine on Sunbury road, to gifts meal fell way short. I had the fire cracker shrimp, which normally is my favorite was so overcooked it had a burnt taste. Then I had the Calamari, which was undercooked, underseasoned and begged for a dipping sauce. Lastly, I myself had the Mei Fun, which with the way everything else was, I am afraid to eat. It looks like it is right, but honestly I am doubting it,due to the cook rushing. There were three others who came in around the same time. I only hope their food was much better than mine. Oh yeah my husband had House Fried Rice, Firecracker shrimp and an egg roll. He had the same complaints as i about them, but he also stated he received no sauce for the egg roll. At least I heard no complaints on the fried rice....Hopefully, if I ever go back things are much better.

Best Asian cuisine in Westerville!

We mainly do take out. Consistently good food. Their General Tso is made with white meat chicken, which is a huge plus for us. Their Shrimp Pad Thai is my favorite.

Best authentic food in area

Some of the best General Two’s I have had. I always ask for extra spicy, and most places don’t really add much spice to their General Tso’s, but Silk Road was on point. Would give 5 stars if the fried rice was a little better.

I accidentally ordered from the Westerville location instead of the Lewis Center Location- I called to cancel the order because we have a brand new baby and logistically couldn’t get to the Westerville location- and instead of canceling the order, they delivered it to us. It was amazing customer service, great food, and very much appreciated.

My family and I tried this place when it first opened and it was just okay. Their spicy food wasn't really spicy, but it was still good. As time went on, we continued to order from here, and the food has gotten a lot better! Recently, i ordered some hot abd sour soup and general tsos (my go tos), and OH MY GOD!!!! It was so on point, i absolutely love it!! Great food, great prices! Definitely worth visiting!

Love the food here, better than so many other Asian places. I absolutely love their hot and sour soup and I’m very picky about that. They pay attention to the quality and it shows. Delivery offered also through Door Dash and Uber Eats.

This place not only has delicious food but the people are so incredibly friendly, polite, and work very hard to make the customer happy! I've been to this restaurant 4 times all as take out orders. Overall, the food is better than average for the genre. The restaurant appears clean in front area and did not inspect closely outside of the front lobby and cashier station. I will come back for the food to go since price is reasonable for what you get and the effort put into ensuring the meal is properly prepared. I see some comments from those who expect quite a bit more food than an $8 - $10 order is worth, so, probably better off letting them go to McDonald's. I do have one concern with the restaurant operations. The cashier has been the same young gentleman each time and he clearly has little to no interest in the current role/position he is in with the restaurant. Not sure if this is a family owned business and he is related to the ownership or management, but he appears fairly disengaged in the customer facing position. A smile and warm attitude toward anyone coming into the restaurant goes a long long way for people when the expectation is they feel welcome to come in and to come back. My interactions with him are always short and rushed as if I am inconvenient to his day or interrupting his other duties. I know its tough to teach someone to be outgoing, friendly and appear happy a customer has come in to bring in additional revenue to the business, however, please have a conversation with him about what ways he feels he can contribute to the success of the restaurant. Everyone works so hard there, its unfair the negative impression and only 3 Stars was attributable to the brief interactions of 1 employee.

Spring rolls were large and good. Thai Cold sesame noodles were mild and not cold enough., usually spicier but good peanut flavor. Could have used scallions. Dishes were just okay. Portions were adequate.

I’m not sure how’s this place has over 4 stars. I give it 2 stars because the restaurant itself is fresh and clean, the staff is friendly but that’s all I can say. When it first opened it was great, I’d go at least once a week, but then it declined.. So I haven’t been there for a while until today. I normally dine in, today I picked up to go from the dinner combo menu. Note of caution to anyone considering using the food delivery services: the combo menu portions are very small, the container it comes in is about the same or smaller than what most restaurants use for the lunch portion. If you’re someone watching your portions or not that hungry, this will be perfect for you. But if you’re hungry and want a real dinner go somewhere else. As for for food, it was much better when the restaurant first opened. Today I ordered sweet & sour chicken with fried rice and a different sauce, got home and it was regular rice, not fried and this restaurant puts veggies and pineapple on the chicken, yuck! The chicken was not the typical battered and fried, it was rounded and like a chicken nugget? Not sure how to describe it,, but I definitely wasted $10 and will not return. Best of luck to this restaurant, it is sad that is not that great because it’s in a perfect location for me.

Ordered pad Thai, string beans, Thai red curry chicken and mango shrimp, everything was perfect and tasted really good.

Decent food.

They had great food at first. Went in to talk about an issue with an order, had the people in front of me storm out angry. I had my online order statement but they still wouldn’t give me what i actually ordered. Having multiple customers in a row storm out unpleased with the outcome is not worth it for me, personally. I will be going somewhere else, even though this restaurant is by far the closest.

All experience have been great but once. The one bad time was just because they were very busy and had to wait longer than expected, by about 20-30 minutes. But still will go back, close to home, and food has always been hot and fresh when ordered.

I ordered tofu lo mein and pad thai bother with tofu. The lo mein only had noodles and tofu, absolutely no veggies. So paid $10 for noodles and a small amount of tofu. The pad Thai was dry and bland and tasted nothing like pad Thai. Never going again.

Ordered Hunan Style Roast Pork, no jicama, add water chestnuts. They ALSO added sliced jalapeno peppers and sliced garlic. I'm pretty angry about it. I don't like restaurants who don't tell me what's actually in their food.

Gave this place a try for the first time tonight. The menu is huge. Sesame steak, sesame chicken and Moo Goo Gai Pan were all good. You can get a side of fried rice for $2. The place has been remodeled and looks very nice inside. This place is definitely worth a try!

Malaysian curry with chicken is really good! The chicken is nicely tender and there are lots of vegetables - carrots, potatoes, snow peas and okra! The sauce is a little bit spicy but I will ask them to kick it up a notch next time. I had a nice chat with Henry about his Malaysian homeland. So friendly! A great lunch experience!
