First visit🤔 not impressed, however, Crazy Noodles with no meat was delicious 😋… my only complaint’s is that I ordered a ginger salad and it looked good and fresh, I was drooling getting ready to dig in when I noticed the dressing was chunky brown like peanut butter and it smelled like peanut butter!☹️🤦🏾♀️😩
I told the young lady it was peanut butter and with confidence she said “no ginger”… yeah ok… I sent it back because I know what peanuts and peanut butter looks and smells like. My other issue, she tried to charge me for it, reluctantly she removed the salad charge. Mt other issues was, we told her two checks and I’m trying to figure out why my friend bill was less <$30 and my bill almost $70🤔🤔🤔after 3 times my friends food was still included in my bill… I just paid and left…. Would I return🤷🏽♀️
As said, the food was very good! Clean bathrooms!
I had a terrible experience at Green Papaya. The waiter was extremely rude and openly racist, which made us feel completely unwelcome. The service was horrible from the start, no friendliness or professionalism whatsoever. To make matters worse, after we paid for our meal, they didn’t provide a proper receipt. When we asked for one, the waiter just scribbled something on a small piece of paper and handed it to us. I’ve never experienced such unwelcoming and disrespectful behavior at a restaurant before. I would never recommend this place to anyone.
I ordered the Buddha Roll and lunch box special which comes with soup, appetizer, rice or noodle, and 2 choices for your main course. I chose Pad Thai and Mango Curry and both of those with steamed tofu. I meant to order brown rice and forgot and I came with white rice, but that was on me and not them. The spring roll appetizer had to much wrapped and to little filling. The spring roll was "meh" but the rest of the food was very good. We had 4 people in our party and had multiple items ordered and shared various things. It was not crowded when we arrived and the service was fine.
This was a great place for Thai food!
The Green Papaya roll was delicious (and huge basically 2 rolls). The curry dish i ordered was hot spice… Im a bit more spice tolerant then most and found it a comfortable heat. It certainly did not distract from the flavor of the dish.
Overall it was a delicious meal and a great experience. Would recommend if your looking for a place to get Thai food!
The food is consistently hot, fresh, flavorful and delish! A word to the wise - be patient! Their small but mighty team (sometimes 1 server who works all day, plus 2 chefs) gets the job done and they work their tails off. 🥰
For those confused about the “ginger” salad and its dressing - it’s actually a sesame dressing - super delish and I always ask for extra when I order.
My fav orders: Mango Curry, Mango Fried Rice, Pad See Ew with chicken and of course, tom kha and the green papaya salad - spicy level 2!
Delicious Thai and sushi. Make sure to try the signature dishes- Green Papaya Soup and sushi!

Really kind and friendly service.
Excellent service and even better food. Five stars all around. The Ambience and classiness yet subtleness is present. Highly recommending this place in Mariemont (Cincinnati) to all newcomers.
Amazing food best ive ever had
Food was delicious! This in on my "let's go back" list. Staff was friendly, cordial and attentive. Easy to get to with nice parking

Not very friendly. Food takes forever most but not all of the time
Great food and quick service. They don't have sushi on Monday and Tuesdays.
We visit often! Nothing fancy, just quality sushi at good prices. Also, the pad Thai is excellent.
This was a great place for Thai food!

Love their food. The menu offers a wide variety of options. There a plenty of healthy options with lots of veggies. There service is very quick.
Spectacular food! Do go
We came in after lunch rush. Server was there right when you needed her. Menu is extensive. Well prepared with nice garnish
Very nice staff and the food was delicious!
Great food.
Our food was so delicious. Ordered pad see you, crispy pad thai, and fresh rolls. Worth the price.
Staff has been super friendly every time I’ve been here. Larb Gai was delicious. Curries are all excellent. Best Pad Thai around!
Great food, kind service.
Food was delicious the sashimi melted in my mouth roll was delicious and so delighted with the main courses. Will make a return visit.
Everything was delicious and the server was very friendly and nice. The spicy California roll was very yummy. The restaurant is quiet, and nicely decorated. Very pretty. Prices were very reasonable.
I love Green Papaya! My husband and I have been to 2 different locations and they are the same in quality. We prefer this location simply for its closeness to work! I always get red curry chicken with a hot level of 1 or 2. Which I recommend 10/10. My husband likes to get something different most of the time, but hasn’t had anything he doesn’t like. We love the sushi here BUT sushi is NOT served on Mondays or Tuesdays just a heads up. Our experiences are always positive with the staff- don’t be afraid to wave them down if you need something.
Highly recommend their dine_in lunchbox. Choice of two entrees + soup+side+dessert. I had Pad Thai and Panang Curry, Miso soup ,Spring roll, orange slices. Had to take a box home.
The duck was so good, the sushi rolls were a great appetizer, 10/10 will be back.
OMG. This is the place where you will find not only an amazing food but the kindness and best service ever. Thanks guys.
They have the same exceptional food as the Hyde Park location, with a slightly more formal, if less eclectic, ambiance. The staff is super friendly and the food is phenomenal. This location often seems less busy, so if you're craving the best Pad Thai, stop in and check it out!
Great food. Good taste. A little tough ordering process on the phone.
Food’s great, staff’s great, good vibes. I highly recommend.
Awesome light food
Best Thai food in Cincinnati! The sushi is really good and I love they have boba as well. The service is always amazing. Great location as well!
I preferred the one in Hyde Park. Nothing I could put my finger on. Maybe I was having an off night and they were too. Tempura option was heavy. And everything else seemed off. Even getting tea and water refill.
My husband & I had take out from this location today and it was SO DELICIOUS!! We got sushi and their pad thai with chicken. Everything was amazing! Honestly, it was the best sushi I've ever had. The pad thai was also just as yummy! It had so much flavor. The JJ roll was my favorite but everything we got was good. I would highly recommend this restaurant!!
Food was good. Service was good. Convenient location. Coconut Chicken soup was very good. Mixed tempura nice. Summer rolls just OK. Not sure why. Rice paper kind of dry but I usually love them. No sushi this time.
I absolutely love this place. Wife and I visit all the time. I can't suggest it enough. Staff is super friendly and helpful, food is absolutely delicious, and I love the small, comfortable, style. 10/10! 7/5!
All around good food, excellent staff, no wait to be seated.
Great food
Great service
Love this new location. Staf was all very friendly! Restaurant was super clean! Meal was delicious! I personally prefer my sushi ice ice cold but I know that's not everyone's preference. Maybe there can be an option to serve on a chilled plate or not? Regardless will be definitely be returning. 5 stars!
Glad it is back we missed this place. Always good food
Excellent food and service.
Awesome to see them open again. Love having such good food so close to me. had the basil sauce with chicken tonight and it was delicious.
Something changed last few times we have been there the food has been off. No longer on our takeout list of favorites.
Great food, great customer service!
This little place has great service and delicious fresh food. The menu is extensive with lots of Thai/Asian/sushi selections. We love the Green Papaya roll all the curries and lighter vegetable dishes. It’s rarely crowded to eat in and the service is always excellent.
Amazing food as always.
Favorite restaurant!
Great Thai and Sushi. Try the Papaya Roll!
I have been to their hyde park location and this one was just as good! I love all of their curry dishes as well as their gyoza. I always need to get some green tea for my meal as well. All of their dishes are phenomenal and they should have something to eat for just about everyone. Service and overall experience is consistently great as well.
Delicious food, reasonable prices, cozy setting.
Always fresh & tasty. Nice people too!
Thank you green papaya for the delicious curry, pad Thai, and chicken satay! Also wanted to thank you so much for your cleanliness and your respect for following State guidelines during this pandemic. Thank you, best wishes, and will be back.
Fresh veggies, fast polite service, calming relaxing environment.
Incredible food! Great service.
great food, fair prices, big portions. quick and friendly, love having this place so close to home.
Incredible meal. I came here when it first opened and to be honest, it could have been better. But in the last year, this place has improved drastically. We ordered Shu-Mai followed by a California roll, andd then got the Mango sticky rice for dessert, which was the best mango sticky rice I have ever had. Everything was delicious. I want to go back so bad!
Update 2/21/20.
This place is still delivering a great amd tasty food. This time I had crazy noodle with beef, and green papaya soup which consists of shrimps, scallops and mushroom in sweet/spicy coconut broth. The Thai Ice Coffee is super delish.
Note: the beef is so tasty, it's been marinated at least for few hours.
I really enjoyed the atmosphere and the food was phenomenal. I had crazy fried rice which was super delicious. I also had Spicy Tuna Roll which was also yummy.
Great food, great service!
Amazing love the chicken pad thai
Didn't have to wait for a table and food was great as always
Sushi is fresh and great flavors. Definitely one of the best sushi places in Cincinnati.
Went with two friends. Two of us like it very very hot. GP has three levels (mild, medium, hot) and a note with that information to the effect that they will fix it to your liking. My friend got a 3.5 crispy pad Thai, I had pad se ewe at 4, non fire eater a huge bento box with veggie pad Thai at a 1 plus all the trimmings. We all shared a lava roll and a couple carafes of hot saki. All excellent, along with a delightful server in a pleasant setting. I'll be taking the family soon!
Love the sushi here!
Food was great. Quick, friendly service. We'll be back.
I was very impressed. The veggie sushi roll was delicious, the Green Papaya Garden (their take on a pra ram) was amazing. My partner's pad thai was good, though she did say she would have preferred it with a little less sauce. Overall, though, everything was very good, and the food came out quickly.
A favorite lunch stop while having my car serviced down the street. Great food, nice wine list. If I lived closer it woul be a frequent place for dinner.
Always good food.
Very nice food
Very good food!
Really excellent food. Ate a ton, and felt great after. Top quality ingredients. And the people who work there are really lovely, too.
Nice service, affordable, high qaulity and delicious!
Great vegetable tempura.
Nice people, adequate parking, value priced and good service. Always can count on quality of food
Our table was ignored throughout our visit there. Had to ask for someone to take drink orders, asked again for someone to take food orders, parts of food orders mixed up and part not provided at all. Had to request check to pay and get out.
Fresh is the word!
Delicious!
Absolutely love Green Papaya! Amazing good and Best service! Everyone should go!
Always delicious and great service
Found my thai fix
Good experience. Met a friend for lunch based on his recommendation of Green Papaya. Ordered the lunch in the box, loved the concept and the food was good. Spring rolls are excellent. Service was ok, in all fairness I think there was only one waitress, servicing the entire restaurant. So to no fault of the waitress, service was slightly slow, but tolerable. Good solid restaurant.
Food was good, but service was a nightmare. It took more than 5 minutes for the server to bring us a high chair, so we got it ourselves. Then another 5 for her to bring our waters, and then we didn't see her for more than 30 minutes, until I went to cash register to check on my wife's meal that never came out. Turns out it was never made, so I had to get it to go since we'd already been there for nearly an hour. No apologies (at least until she dropped off the check) and no compensation. Seriously, the Pad Thai and fried rice were good, but not worth the terrible service. Not to mention that they don't even have fountain soda or draft beer. Will not be returning.
Very strange experience. We were seated immediately. Party of 2, my wife & me. It took about 5-10 minutes for someone to come take our order. We ordered drinks, appetizer, and entrees at the same time. When our app came out we weren't given plates to go with. OK, nbd. We made due and split our mixed tempura. When the entree came out my wife was immediately repulsed by her entree. Not because it was wrong, but because she did not realize what she was ordering. It was not appetizing to her at all. She didn't want to send it back, because it wasn't their error. I would have like to have eaten a few bites of my Pad Thai but I didn't have any chop sticks. We sat at our table with our untouched entrees in front of us for about 15 minutes. No one checked on us or noticed we weren't eating. I eventually flagged down a waitress, and asked for 2 boxes and the check. Only then did the gentleman who took our order and brought us drinks come and ask if everything was OK. At that point, it wasn't, because I felt totally neglected. I thought it was so weird that we sat there so long without even touching our food and no one could be bothered to even notice. The gentleman was taking care of the table across the aisle from us, but never turned back to look at us. We boxed, paid, and left. I did get some chopsticks with my box.
This place is wonderful. The food is amazing and the service is superb. My family and I went here for dinner and we have three young kids. The staff was so kind when our toddler spilled water across the table and they made training chopsticks for the older children, which the kids loved using. We're definitely coming back!
The food was delicious and the service was very friendly
Really nice food and good ambience..
Love this place!
Google asked, how was your experience. Well, we didn't have an experience because no one greeted us once seated for over 7 minutes without even so much as being looked at. So we left. Quick tip. Great your customers even of you have can't get drink order yet...
Great service and great food. I'd love to have a place like this in Dayton.
Unpretentious, but excellent. Jay the sushi chef is creative with subtle yet radical flavors, still most elegantly straight up traditional. Explains his craft... and how to appreciate the best filet from the parts of the fish. Only place I've found in the US where truly fresh wasabi is served: no comparison. He's got the panache of a great host and expert. Gary the manager host is terrific in many ways. They welcome you and work as if an owner might. Great menu, but ask the kitchen to surprise you. They'd love that chance to break out for you.
Great Thai food! Great service
Great service, selection & food. Price was little high for portion but delicious.
Wonderful food!
Very good food, really like! Well done.
Excellent food & service!
Always good
Delicious
Wonderful authentic Thai cuisine. I particularly like the Pad Say You (sp?) With pork and the Siam (spring) rolls. Expertly crafted extensive sushi menu. One word of warning: I ordered scallops twice here, and each time they were less than fresh, & has to be sent back.
Never ate a worse Thai food than this.... waste of money and time
I come here for lunch two or three times a month. Their food is consistently great (try the pad thai) and the employees are incredibly friendly and always professional. Wish I could give more than 5 stars. Keep up the great work.
First time finding this place. I will be back!
I can not get enough of the iced jasmine tea, crab rangoon and just about everything else I've tried on the menu so far. Great food, great service.
The food here was delicious, my husband and I both enjoyed it and plan on coming back.
Great food at a great price. Had the Seafood Madness, it was Delicious. Service was good also.
I'm not sure if this is Japanese, Chinese, Thai, or whatever but it was pretty damn good. The lunch staff was very friendly and catering to our needs. They made sure we had enough soy sauce unlike most asian restaurants. The food came with enough meat to last through the amount of rice that was given in that portion.
Preferential treatment! Loved it!
Good food!
Cool place inside, cool area, and good food.
Really wonderful spot. I love green papayas. Not to say that I don't like other kinds of papayas. I'm not discriminatory against any kinds of papayas. Fruits and vegetables are also wonderful ways to supplement your diet as well as being good for bringing blood glucose up in a healthy way after dragonboat racing.
Food is good but scope for improvement. Servings are not too big.
Great Sushi. Fresh food.
