Cheery, family-run eatery with American fare, a lounge & entertainment such as live music & trivia.
Cute little restaurant. We all ordered different meals and sides. We enjoyed everything.
*Update - we returned here recently. The menu changed and we wanted to try the Asian foods. We were informed that one of the cooks was out and the other didn't know how to make the meals. We ordered sandwiches and a burger instead. It took an hour to get our food. They didn't have any buns for the burger and told us right before brining us our plates. Definitely didn't enjoy our visit this time.
The lobster bisque was delicious as was the quiche. My companion had nothing but compliments for her dish. It was quite easy to carry on a conversation. Service was excellent. I’ve eaten there previously where the experience was the same. I had a small filet during that visit.
The best part about this restaurant was the friendly waitress and hostess. This place needs a major overhaul as my experience was very bad. First and foremost I, along with others, ordered sweet tea to drink and it was basically sugar water and almost clear. I ordered bruschetta for the appetizer and it was tasty - probably the best thing I ate there but was $10.50 for 5 slices of bread with tomato salad on top. Main course was the hand breaded chicken tenders. The dish arrived with 2 chicken tenders and a handful of fries. The tenders were greasy and had zero - I mean no seasoning at all. 2 chicken tenders and a handful of fries was $15. With a tip my meal was over $30. The worst part of the experience was when we paid to leave, someone at my table had a live cockroach in their bill holder that ran out when they tried to get the bill. I understand that things happen, but that is a thing that should never happen at a restaurant. In addition, one of the members at our table ordered a meal and wanted sweet potato fries as a side and was told they were out. Halfway eating her sandwich maybe 25 minutes later, a waiter ran past with a plate of sweet potato fries for another table lol. The whole experience was horrible. This restaurant needs Gordon Ramsay and Kitchen Nightmares to renovate this place big time.
1st trip and I was so happy. We had a wonderful meal, plenty of food and amazing service. Pleasantly surprised. The salad was amazing and a good sized portion. He had the spegetti pie and I have the Mahi pasta. We tried the stuffed pepper soup and it was VERY tasty! Give it a try. Great place, great price and amazing food. We will be back.
Unfortunately, this restaurant isn’t what it used to be. My mom and I went here to grab lunch and as soon as we walked in the door, I regretted it and wish that we had turned around. We were not greeted by friendly staff. We were rushed to order being told that if we didn’t put our order in, then the chef was going on his break and if we didn’t put it in, then we would have to wait until his return. We both ordered salads and I ordered a cup of soup. I ordered the Cobb salad and my mom ordered the seafood salad. The salads came the soup never did I had to ask for it. The waitress acted very inconvenienced. Additionally, the salad had half of an onion on it easily. We felt like they were a quarter of our salad. There wasn’t a variety of vegetables in the salad like they’re used to be and when my soup did arrive, it was cold. I like others have mentioned in their posts was not able to look at my bill and the waitress covered while we handed over our cards and checked out she did not even tell us what the total was. It used to be one of our favorite spots to go when spending time together to grab a quick yummy bite and we used to refer people from out of town there frequently this is the second time we’ve been in there and not been happy with our service. I’m sorry to say we won’t be back.
Our dinners were absolutely delicious! I’ve never seen a lobster tail so big!! The steak had such good flavor and literally melted in your mouth! Our servers name was, Candy, and she was on top of everything and absolutely nothing short of entertaining, kept the food, drinks and laughs coming! 10/10 would recommend and ask for, Candy! We had the best time tonight!!
We came across this wonderful little restaurant on our vacation to the casino. OH MY GOSH. We were blown away. Amazing food, quality, and service. The steak tenderloin salad was good but was very dry. Burger was average. Drinks only refilled once in our lengthy visit.
For the money, it's not worth the wait.

Food is very good. Servers could use some training. Inside an old building the condition is rough.
We were so happy to find a local restaurant that was serving Pho soup and then we tried it and it was sooo legit! We have been back multiple times and will keep coming back.
We came here on our honeymoon because we had a gift card. It took awhile for us to be greeted and unfortunately even longer for our drinks & appetizer to come out. Our server kept walking away before we could ask for a refill/extra sauce/etc and never actually asked if we needed anything else or how everything was. My husband enjoyed his fried trout but the margherita pizza I ordered wasn’t like any other margherita pizza I’ve had. It was really dry and the crust was extremely thin and burnt. There was no fresh mozzarella, just a lot of feta. We did enjoy the atmosphere and the art that was displayed was nice. Overall it was not the worst experience but it wasn’t the best either. I don’t know that we will be back.
Very good food
Well, walked in no one to seat you, she came out said be 10 minutes never seen her again. We waited 20 minutes and left. Poor Management
Tried a couple of new items.Pho and the Pad Tai. They were both super legit! Great service. Glad we went back after a few year hiatus.
Great food
Love the Pho at this place! It’s probably the Vietnamese chef 😉.
Have been many times, had never been up in the lounge before, was wonderful
The pad tei and sushi is delicious! 🤤
Was very good and we really enjoyed
Service was great, EVERYTHING was delicious ! Definitely will be coming back to try something new. Top Tier Boba, sushi was delicious 😋
Sushi in the mountains! Who'da thunk it would be DELICIOUS. IT WAS!!!! I'll be back again.... and again... and again. Owner and wait staff very friendly. Nice, clean bathrooms too!
Ate here a while ago and at the time it had a better review - but when we came, nearly every dish we had was poorly done and not good. We weren’t happy with one thing we ordered which I found so surprising since people have raved about this place. Maybe it came under new management?
Nice small dining atmosphere. Broad menu with decent sushi.
Waitress was super sweet and friendly. Was not crazy about my food. Ordered a pizza..
We are from Atlanta and my coworker suggested this place when I told her we were going to Murphy. I'm so glad she told us about it! The food was great! Courtney was AWESOME!
Visiting Brasstown and searching for good food. We found excellent food, service and atmosphere here! We will definitely return..
The best soup and quiche I have had in a long time.
Very enjoyable and food is great
Updated October 2024:
The pho is absolutely AMAZING. The sushi is really good too. Can't go wrong with the new Asian selection.
Courtney in the upstairs lounge always takes good care of us!
Ok service. Food was ok but not as good as home made. Simple fare. Would like to have seen some fresh herbs or something to make it stand out from the ordinary. Very noisy group of women screaming with laughter ruined the atmosphere but I will give it another try. Tried it again and even more unimpressed than the first time. Lowered my review. owners not warm and friendly. Will not return. It’s easy to make food taste good. Just make a signature dressing. Something with basil and garlic and olive oil. Can’t go wrong. Disappointed.
Great food! The service was wonderful. I was waiting for a friend to come and they made me feel welcome and were very accommodating.
I’m new to the area and I’m trying different restaurants in the area. I’ve been here 3 times both lunch and dinner. I ordered the Prime Rib Philly twice. Once at lunch and once at dinner. Same sandwich, same portion but prices are different. Lunch 15.00 dinner 18.00. Then I compared lunch and dinner menus on line and found it’s with most every entree! No wonder the place is empty at night. I may go back at lunch but not after 4 pm when the prices go up. I believe food prices should stay the same if portion size is the same.
I agree with other reviewers that they are not what they used to be. I have dined here often and this used to be the go to place. Unfortunately that is no longer the case. My go to was the fish and chips, this past time it was rubbery and bland, used to be crispy. That and the fish was almost nonexistent. My wife ordered one of their new choices, I am kind of impressed that they managed to suck all flavor from the steak. Our waitress spent more time chatting up a young man in the front both and only occasionally looked in on her tables, a bad look. I will not be going back.
Great food, great service, pleasant waitress. You won't be disappointed.
Really good food!
Excellent local restaurant. Service and food are outstanding!!!
My family is staying at a cabin near here and we randomly picked this place from
Google. The food was pretty good. The server gave us her opinions on what was best and she didn’t steer us wrong. The band band shrimp appetizer was so good, the shrimp was crispy. The shrimp and grits was delicious too and it was a huge portion, I could probably make three meals out of it. Courtney was our server and she was the highlight of the night. She was so funny, personable and attentive. We really enjoyed her!
Best sushi around !
The female bartender upstairs is awesome.
Perfect cocktails.
Perfect service.
10/10
3 of us had the prime rib sandwich/sub. It was so greasy that we all had upset stomachs before we left the restaurant. The waitress we had was so young and had no training. We ordered drinks she had no idea what we were talking about. Three of us ordered Bacardi and Coke, the other was a Bahama Mama. Basic every day orders. The only good thing I can say is that the new Sushi was awesome!
Owner is such a nice lady, stopped by and had a little chat with my wife and I. Explained things that were going on. Food was excellent service friendly and prompt
Food was good as the prices.
We had the Pho and the fried rice with beef. Both dishes were delicious and we've added ShoeBooties to our list of favorite local eateries.
You would never know this placed serves Vietnamese Pho unless someone told you. We found this out from others who mentioned it in the Murphy Facebook group. Stopped in to try the Pho and it is definitely authentic. Surprised to find out the owners are Vietnamese so that explained why... Only place in Murphy you'll find Pho. The owners should advertise it on their website and their storefront window... Definitely recommend it!
Great food!
By far the best food and service around I could eat at shoebooties everyday!
Been going here for years. Lovely food, lovely people.
This was our first time. Some of the food had unexpected flavors, but very flavorful. We are from the shore and the lobster bisque had a small amount of heat. The shrimp and grits (lite spice as per our waitress) was so good.
My family have been patrons at Shoebootie’s for 16+ years. If I’m not with my family, I would usually go upstairs to grab a quick bite after shopping. I’ve always had a pleasant experience. This was the worst. They were about 10 to 12 customers upstairs. The bartender was new. She seemed very pleasant trying to do her job to earn a living. There was a very intoxicated man. Speaking very loudly and very vulgarly. Two other patrons sitting next to me were disgusted with this as well to no fault of the bartender the Internet was down, so there was no music. She was trying to do her best using her phone to play music and put it inside of a martini shaker. I felt like shoe booties has definitely spiraled downhill I was very very disappointed. I felt like I was at a drunk bar to restaurant manager you definitely need to keep an eye on the upstairs area. I don’t think I’ll be back for a long time. If I go back saddens me.
Great place to eat.
Awesome place! All you can eat crab legs on Thurs was fantastic!
Always love the food.
My Wife and I and our 2 children ages 10 and 11 Went there for Dinner Quite a surprise that they also Handed us an Asian Menu? Anyway I order the Philly cheesesteak Sandwich and My wife order Spaghetti with Meat sauce! The kids only wanted French Fries The Spaghetti was over cook The Philly Cheese steak about average nothing I would order again! The Portion of the fries for the kids seem to be a baby’s portion The Bill came to Stunning $65.00 without A Gratitude! Now I know inflation is Making us all watch how are dollars are spent but when the food is just average and The kids are just getting fries they should be able to fill there plate.Anyway We will Not be Returning to this Restaurant in the future!
Dinner for two. Wait staff was very courteous and professional. Food was outstanding!! Lobster bisque was the best I ever had! Mahi Mahi was incredible along with Scallop and Shrimp Oscar!!
It was extremely hot inside the restaurant so by the time our warm food came out we were all over it. The food was ok, definitely over priced for what it is. The people are very friendly though!
We had a winderful prime rib Philly and garlic butter shrimp along with a house salad. All was excellently prepared and presented.
Excellent food, Excellent service
Wide variety of good food.
Overcooked hamburger for $18
Had my birthday party there. Great food, great service. They even threw in a little apple pie and ice cream. Try the lamb shank and lobster platter. The best.
On vacation came in to grab sunday lunch. Not sure if under staffed or what but servers were not very attentive ,we waited for a long long time for our food and when it came out it was such a dissapointment chicken filly had nothing on it and was so bland the onion rings were disgusting barely ate.we were constantly having to flag down our server .but I will say my grandson said the shrimp was good.wont go back here sorry
I live in Chattanooga but have eaten here many times. Great fried shrimp! Good place to eat.
Spring Rolls were great!
Who would have thought that hidden in downtown Murphy NC would be one of the best food experiences we have had in a while. Super!
Good food. Rack of lamb was nice.
Just took my mother here this evening, for mother's day.
We had the crab and artichoke dip, for the appetizer.
I had the Lamb Chops, 6 large shrimp, 6 oz Lobster Tail + sides = Very very delicious!!
My mother received the Shrimp and grits dinner = she loved them and took home what she didn't finish.
Dissatisfied and disappointing is an understatement!!! I/we will not be back ever!!!
Just terrible all together and wish I had picked somewhere else, but now I know.
(And I live nearby) just decided to try it today after years of being in the area.
We love visiting ShoeBooties every time we come to Murphy. The salmon is a favorite. I also enjoy the black bean burger immensely! Tried the cucumber orzo and it was delicious. I cannot remember our servers name but she was wonderful and very attentive! This restaurant is a must!
Update...still a must if you are in Murphy! Hubby tried the fried trout and was very pleased with the choice. The black bean burger and orzo salad still never disappoints!
Great place for me to take my real estate clients. They have a wonderful lunch menu and music in the background so you can have private conversations.
Unfortunately, this restaurant isn’t what it used to be. My mom and I went here to grab lunch and as soon as we walked in the door, I regretted it and wish that we had turned around. I had a good first experience, the staff were inviting and pleasant, the atmosphere is very nice, and the food was good. I only wish they'd use mozzarella cheese on top of their chicken parmesan instead of toasting grated parmesan cheese on top.
Lobster bisque is amazing! Tempura cod is great! Service very good. One of my favorite restaurants!
Great staff and great food!
We went with a large group for lunch. The staff was very accommodating and the food was good. Worth a visit.
Just ok?
The food made us sick
I had the crusted salmon and one side and Lobster soup
Husband had Tomato,Spinch,Egg,Cheese quiche and a salad
They both were very good.
It was also nice that they took empty plates away.
The waitress was very nice too.
Very disappointed. The restaurant was practically empty and the wait time for our food was still over 45mins!
Food was tasteless and bland. So disappointing especially after such a long wait.
Service however was excellent.
Atmosphere was terrible.
Way way overpriced.
We just ate there on Presidents’ Day. The shrimp and grits, seafood pasta and beef burgundy were 5 stars. Our waitress Nancy was the greatest.
Food is very good and reasonably priced. Atmosphere is calm with nice art hanging about and the place is clean. Downtown
Murphy is fun and walkable with the typical assortment of cafes, gift shops, and historic buildings. I had their take on a Cuban sandwich with sweet potatoe
fries - both were good. My wife had the salmon and broccoli and she stated it was delicious. Server was friendly and present. It's our third visit and we'll be back.
An incredible surprise. Great food, great prices, great location, great service. Felt like a pub grub spot, but not even close... Very diverse and delicious menu. A must repeat for me, a must try for you.
We had lunch at ShoeBooties and it was delicious. The turkey cranberry sandwich was so tasty and filling! The special quiche was also yummy! The staff was very attentive. We will definitely be back!
The food is outstanding here. It's fresh and inventive. I always get a fish dish when I go there. If they have the Lobster Bisque when you go, get it. It's awesome! It's an excellent value for the money.
I wouldn't go there for the ambiance. It's strangely designed with wooden booths all along the walls. I guess it was the best use of space, though.
What a great little restaurant. The food is excellent, the prices reasonable and the portions are take home sized. Our server, JoAnn was as nice as they come. This is a free standing, non chain restaurant that is not to be missed if you are visiting Murphy, NC
The food was very good but our waitress Nancy was the absolute shining star. Ask for Nancy.
Everyone liked there food but me I didn't like the brushetta and they were really nice about it but it was very expensive
Terrible.
I am not picky at all. Just expecting a clean place, good fresh food and drinks w acceptable service. NOT HERE. Unless you want to be treated like a criminal. Go for it. Horrible food, everything about it. They should just close.
The food is delicious. I highly recommend it. I had the lemon crusted salmon with the lobster bisque. It was cooked perfectly. it's an excellent value. The atmosphere is okay, but the service is great.
I placed my order online from their website at 5:44 pm. Glance at the pics attached. I went in to pick my order up at precisely 6:06 pm. After about 5 minutes a group of three came in and stood behind me. Nobody was greeting people as they came in. Finally after another 15 minutes a little slim Asian lady came up with eyelashes too big for her body and she started to seat the group behind me. They said No, she was here first. I politely said, Oh I'm just here for my pick-up order. The eyelash lady looked confused then went to a screen and called out my order as if she wasn't sure that was mine. I nodded Yes and I said That's correct. She said, Well it wasn't placed so do you still want it? I will go put a "rush" on it. I said Yes and went to sit down in the bench. After waiting til 7:15 pm I finally got my order. She never offered anything off my bill but I sure did ask for it! She said, I can knock off 10% that's all. I said, "Fine." I WILL NOT BE BACK! This used to be my favorite place but not anymore!
Such a nice, intimate little restaurant! Food was amazing and service was perfect!
This looks like a little hole in the wall cafe. Don't let that fool you. I had one of the best hamburgers in my life there. I had grilled broccoli as my side. Omg, it was delicious. Hubby had a Reuben with a small soup. His was delicious too. Our server really watched over us. We will definitely be back here.
Priced too high
The food was very good
The food is really good, but service lives much to be desired! All waitresses are old in a dirty clothes, dirty hairs, absolutely not professional and barely can explain you anything about menu and food..also,we were rushed by our maitress,no matter that the place was almost empty! Besides unpleasant waitress and hostess the food was pretty good! Salmon and filet mignon with blue cheese were soft and chewable, tasted yummy, appetizers bang bang shrimp were delicious!
My wife and I enjoyed our lunch here very much. It's a great atmosphere with great food. We will definitely return next time we are through Murphy.
The food was great, we had the Salmon and the shrimp Oscar . The atmosphere is very quaint. I will absolutely go again.
We really like this little place. It is unassuming but the food is really good.
Meal of the year
Staff was friendly food was below average
This place used to be a standout in Murphy. But like just about everywhere these days. It no longer is. Which is a shame.
The all you can eat Crab Legs on Thursday nights, was a particularly enjoyable treat, given Murphy's proximity to ANY ocean. Those too are no good either. When this place changed hands a few years back is when it all began going downhill. Very sad. Maybe they could sell to someone who actually cares??
My point is this. There is NOTHING even remotely worthwhile eating in Murphy. If you live here then you know. Or you simply have low expectations for dining out. If you are a visitor here? Then stick to Main Street Grill, Waffle King. beyond that. Either plan on cooking for yourselves, or plan on a good drive to Blairsville GA or Blue Ridge.
Really good food that satisfies.
Excellent food and staff. Highly recommend!!!
Absolutely delicious. Met the owner Tammy she is amazing
I'll be honest, my family almost walked right past the place when we saw the older style red awning over the front door. Someone decided to pull up the menu and we basically did a double take when we saw the kind of food that was on the menu compared to what the outside of the restaurant looked like.
Maybe the idea is to keep it a secret to the locals 😆️ . We went in and had a great lunch, with great service, including great recommendations. Would absolutely recommend, and would definitely go back if we were ever in the area again.
Was there Saturday September 16th. Was fairly busy, but food came out on time.
Very disappointed. Prime rib had to be yesterday or later cooked. Very dry, hard to cut w steak knife. Only reason went there was because of beautiful pic of beef they advertised and their prices were also different than advertised.
Would not recommend
I generally find the food to be bland. The salmon in my salad was flavorless. The best thing I've had here in two visits is one of their salad dressings.
Friendly staff.
HVAC was broken when we went, so doors propped open caused us to fight flies throughout the meal.
Good prices.
I have eaten at ShoeBooties in the past when visiting and had great food and service. Well tonight my fiance and I thought we'd try it for dinner. We walked in and got seated the waitress took our drink order and e sat there for at least 15 minutes and not 1 other person acknowledged us. Our waitress looked at me at and saw we still had menus in front of us and turned the other way. I finished my drink left the money for my drink and we left. Also want to add they were not busy. Need to do better!
Very disappointed in last visit. Service was poor at best. We were sat in back room at end of their lunch rush. Twice had to hunt someone down for drinks. No apologies offered, even the tiny "manager" did not seemed phased when we brought the poor servic level to her attention. Server leaned over table inappropriately, didnt respect personl space and seemed lost at times. Food was good as always. Love their lobster bisque soup. Not too sure we'll be back based on service. Really sad, been going there forever and was embarrassed that I recommended the place.
Very nicely done on inside, we liked the privacy of the booths. The Reuben sandwich was piled high with corned beef, very generous.
My wife had a huge black bean sandwich, made in house was best she's ever had.
Just really bad service all around. Sat us in the back and forgot about us. Told us 5 minutes and waited 15. Had to walk up to the front of restaurant to get refills. Waitress puts there belly 5 inches from ur face and takes offense when you ask not to be in your personal space. Put the wrong drinks in the wrong cups when asked for refilll. I love the food hear but I think this is the last time I'll be coming to this restaurant
It was good.
The Lobster Bisque is amazing. The Crab Dip was a good portion, very tasty, and the fried spinach tortilla were perfect with the dish - light but firm. We really enjoyed our entire meal especially with the excellent staff/service. Definitely going to visit again.
Cute little place with great food and friendly service.
The Lobster bisque was amazing! The Reuben sandwich was great, but the potato salad was even better. Yummm
Horrible,dont walk away run. Fast
What a hidden gem 💪 in a wonderful downtown area in Murphy NC. I was visiting the casino and decided to go in town and see what local restaurant I could find. The food was absolutely 😀delightful and Delicious. The Ruben was a home run and the best part was the pineapple walnut pudding. I got an extra order to take home to take to 👍Kennesaw. Joann was a pleasant 😍person with a wonderful personality who made my visit a enjoyable experience. Her on my podcast, 🏆but I struck out. 😜
We came across this wonderful little restaurant on our vacation to the casino. OH MY GOSH. We were blown away. Amazing food, quality, and service. We walked in not too long before close ( which we never do) and were met with such warmth and hospitality. Our server Tammy was absolutely wonderful and patient as we looked over the menu and took our time making our choices.
Great food and service. The trout meal was amazing.
The lobster biz is to die for! 😋
I have a soft spot for this place because of the memories over the years, but it seems to be slipping. Used to be great, but problems in the kitchen and wait staff mean it takes an hour to get your appetizer and an hour and a half for your meal.
The crab cake appetizer was the best part of the meal - even though it took an hour.
The seafood salad came with sparse crab and salmon burnt beyond salvage. It went back.
The steak tenderloin salad was good but was very dry. Burger was average. Drinks only refilled once in our lengthy visit.
For the money, it's not worth the wait.
We had not been to ShooeBooties in about 2 years due to the bad experience. We decided to give it a try again and we are so happy we did. We went on a Thursday night for the crab legs, and they did not disappoint! The chowder and salad were great. Our server, Nancy, was amazing. She had a great sense if humor and we did not have to ask for anything as she kept our drinks full and kept our crab legs coming. We are definitely please with how much shoebooties has improved since our last visit. We absolutely recommend and we will continue to eat there. 😊
Reubens was paper thin.
Maybe 3 slices of meat.
Hamburger was good.
Didn't have any ice for beverages.
Very strange. Why wouldn't they go out and buy some.
I will never go back.
Too long to wait for average food. The Rubin was way to thin and on the small size for the money. We won't be back.
Not what we expected. It was very down to earth, but it was still slightly expensive - $30 for shrimp & grits. Ribeye was delicious. Service was friendly. It was nice to see older waitresses with experience. Floors looked newly remodeled. Overall, it was a good experience.
A staple of downtown Murphy, ShoeBooties has reliably delicious food, on the upper end of the "reasonably priced" scale. The atmosphere harkens to a speakeasy with their very private booths without actually having a speakeasy's layout of private dining rooms. They are also close to other things to do in Murphy and make for a great lunch spot to take a load off.
Arrived for our first time on Saturday. Arrived at 4.10pm got seated and got our order taken at 4.31. Didn't actually get our food untill 5.33. The meat was as tough as possible. Not rare at all. Very mediacore fries my other party got. Burger was also burned very badly. Ended up getting finished at 6.00 there was only 4 other customers in the place. Aside from me and my wife. I think everyone forgot they were working at a restaurant. Never got napkins. Never got my drink refilled. All the staff sitting on there phones.
A pleasant surprise in Murphy NC, my wife and I enjoyed a lovely meal. Seared tuna appetizer, Rainbow trout with lemon butter sauce, Cobb salad and Lobster bisque, looking forward to returning to ShoeBooties Cafe to try more of their menu. Great service, lovely owner.
Slow service , but they were very busy, and attentive to drink refills.
Had the Salmon. Very bland. Hadn't been marinated and packed spices, mashed potatoes were cold and tasteless.
Pretty little restaurant with nice decorations and feel. We were here around 4:30 pm on a weekday. It wasn't particularly busy but it wasn't empty either. Food was okay, it took longer than I would feel is normal to get out. Our waitress was very nice but overworked, serving all the tables by herself. If was a little difficult to tell who the employees were. A younger female seated us before going to a booth where two other people were seated and talking, drinking beer and wrapping silverware. The two wrapping silverware didn't do anything to help guests but as far as I could tell they were employees. I don't know what was going on with that but it came off as careless or unprofessional. As with anything, we might have just went on a bad day.
Great lunch spot. I was in search of a reasonable, delicious, and filling WW friendly salad. ShoeBooties nailed it. Their seafood salad was delicious! I used the wife’s Ponzu sauce as my dressing, as their homemade Italian vinaigrette, while good, was not as tasty as the Ponzu. Wife had the Ahi salad, but had salmon instead since they were out of ahi. Salmon was cooked to perfection.
The space was open, with booths for privacy. Full bar. Imitation stained glass fixtures over each booth gave a nice, homey feel. Nice art pieces at each booth, for sale.
We were in town for an errand, and we’ll be back for a visit to ShoeBooties.
Awful grilled mahai mahai so overcooked hard to even cut piece with the fork. It was much too thin a piece of fish to even think about grilling. Dont order fish there. Asked for no onions and it of course had onions. Linguini was supposed to be tossed and a tiny, tiny dish with sauce came with it, so not even enough to finish pasta. No bread, waitress put order in correct because she showed me.
