I'm not from Buffalo, so my friend found this place on Google and we decided to check it out, and I'm glad we did. Reasonable prices, my food was fresh, hot, and delicious. I'm in love with the rocket shrimp and the sushi; the Pad Thai and beef salad were good too. Definitely coming back when I visit Buffalo! ❤️

We are here for an early dinner and the food was absolutely to die for. It was the best miso i've ever tasted and the fried sushi is to die for! Definitely try something with kimchi here, it was so delicious and flavorful and had very authentic spice notes. We watched the Euro Cup finals with the staff and they were very kind and quick. We will be back here again plenty of times.

Pad Thai was good but it’s not the authentic pad Thai flavor.

This was a last minute stop over in Buffalo, and I was looking for some non-chain Asian food. The Thai Japanese blend caught my eye, and I'm glad I gave it a try.
I tried the Chicken Pad Thai, Shrimp Tempura Roll, and the Yaki Udon.
The only feedback that I should note is that I ordered the Udon with a level 4 of 5 for spicy, and it was verily lightly spicy.
I would note next time to get a 5 and ask specifically for it to be a real 4 or 5, not the "gringo" version! 🤣

Perfect on a chilly day! We stopped in after an afternoon at the mall based on other reviews and very happy we did so. It's small but wasn't too busy, so service was very prompt and friendly! We sat in the corner with our two toddlers and were pleased that everything came out quickly. We will be back next time we come to Buffalo!

My daughter and I frequent here about 2-3 times a month. We order the same things usually. This time was different one of our dishes was so spicy it was not edible we both tried and our mouths were burning. I mentioned this to our server explaining we order this dish all of the time and it’s never been this spicy it was a spice level 1. Server looked at me not sure she understood but i paid for a meal i didn't and couldn't eat. Shame.

Nice Thai restaurant that really cooks. The food consistently tastes good and is good quality. A separate vegan menu is available and dietary restrictions are accommodated. The sushi is outstanding with many choices. Service is friendly.

Teton has become one of our favorite places to have dinner.

To start, the service was shockingly bad. We waited an hour for our food, which wouldn’t have been as frustrating if the order had come out in any kind of reasonable sequence. We were served our sushi rolls before the appetizers, and while the timing was off, I will give credit where it’s due—the sushi was absolutely fantastic. Fresh, flavorful, and well-made, it was the highlight of the meal, earning a solid 10/10.

However, things went back to downhill after that. The appetizers—calamari and rocking shrimp—finally arrived 20 minutes after the rolls, and they were a letdown. Both dishes tasted almost identical, with the calamari being 90% greasy breading and the shrimp completely lacking in flavor. It was hard to tell if the shrimp were underseasoned or just poorly prepared, but either way, they were far from impressive.

Next came the ramen, which arrived about 10 minutes after the appetizers. By this point, I was hoping for something to redeem the meal, but the ramen was just okay. The broth was simple and light, but it lacked depth, and the beef was so tough it reminded me more of jerky than anything you’d want to enjoy in a noodle soup.

To be clear, I’m not a picky eater—I love food and will try just about anything. But in this case, I left feeling seriously disappointed. Teton may have potential, but the service was far below expectations, and while the sushi was fantastic, the rest of the meal didn’t live up to the hype. I’m not sure I’ll be returning anytime soon.

The food does not disappoint, it's tasty and generous. I like spicy, but careful level 2 is pretty hot already. Wanna try a great dessert, try the sticky rice with coconut milk and green tea/pumpkin custard. Delicious. Friendly service and reasonable prices.

Wir waren auf der Suche nach asiatischen Essen und haben dieses Restaurant gefunden. Von außen relativ unscheinbar befindet sich im Inneren ein fantastisches Restaurant. Alles, was wir bestellt hatten, sei es Sushi, Suppe, Fisch und Hähnchen, war sehr lecker und optimal zubereitet. Wir mussten, ggf aufgrund der Gruppengröße von 7 Personen, etwas länger auf Teile der Gerichte warten. Ansonsten ein rundum guter Besuch, sehr empfehlenswert.

Absolutely amazing! I forgot to tell the waiter about my allergy. I was so greatful that they were able to accommodate me after they made the food. I am so ashamed that I forgot to tell them. The food was so delicious that I over ate! If you are in the area and like pineapple fried rice and green curry then stop here and eat. I feel so happy now!

Fabulous experience at Teton Kitchen! By far the BEST pad Thai I’ve ever had. Very reasonably priced, quick service, no wait for table, and take out is great too!

Been meaning to come here for awhile and finally did. The food itself was amazing, very tasty and decent sized portions. The sushi was also very high quality, we'll definitely be back again.

We had a quick stop over at this restaurant during our trip.

The service was amazingly good. We entered the place last minute (8:30PM). The host made it clear about the closing time, which helped us plan accordingly. Also one of our items was a bit late - and they made it on-the-house. This showed they held themselves to a high standard.

The food was really tasty and reasonably priced. We tried the Pineapple Fried Rice and some sushi. The sushi was especially delicious!!

Will recommend friends to try this place out if they visit Buffalo.

I love this place! I visit Niagara Falls every summer, and still no other place in the neighborhood can beat Teton. My personal preferences are Tom Yam Seafood, Tuna Tartar, salmon hand roll, and some other rolls (never disappointing). Keep it rocking!

Extremely disappointed by their customer service. Our dinner (for 3 people) came separated with nearly 8 minutes between each person's dish. By the time the last person got their dinner, the first person finished their dinner. Water cups were never filled, and empty dishes were left in front of us while waiting for dissert. And the WORST part is... they brought the dessert while the empty dinner dishes are still in front of us. They literally moved the dinner dishes around and squeezed the dessert dishes in. The food was AWEFUL.

Food was great and service was very attentive. We ordered an iced coffee and it came out a little weak. The server noticed this and offered to remake it. Prices were also very fair. Overall, a very good experience and would come here again.

This place seems pretty popular so I went in to order. I immediately heard a loud frequent hacking cough from the kitchen and I witnessed the cook literally cough all over the food that he brought to the counter. He had no mask on. I chose not to eat here.

For my own orders, I think maybe a 10 minute wait. I just wish there was a 2 or 3 special roll combo to make life a little more affordable

I came here yesterday to see the solar eclipse. I ordered a seafood bento box. The California roll had a perfect balance of texture, sushi rice, kamaboko, and avocado. After eating hand roll I felt I wish I had tried the sushi nigiri instead of the bento box. Of course, in the sushicase not so many kind, so I might not have high expectations, but I wanted to try out. stir-fried seafood had a strong taste to my taste, but it had a lot of scallops in it, it was good deal. Thank you for the delicious food.

We found Teton a few years ago and have never looked back since. When I was younger my family moved to Japan and while living there I was fortunate enough to experience Thailand and authentic Thai food. The Pad Thai at Teton is hands down the best Pad Thai I have had ever outside of Thailand. My mom confirmed that sentiment when we let her try their Gluten Free version just this past weekend. Give them a try and I promise you won’t be disappointed

I read the reviews and had expected great food but frankly was a bit underwhelmed. The sushi was not fresh and very mediocre, the tempura didn’t even use tempura batter. Rather it was more of the standard “dish and chips” batter. However, the Thai fried noodles were great. Full of flavor and good portions. I have not requested many of the other Asian restaurants in the area so can’t comment on how this place ranks but overall, the Japanese food portion of their menus weren’t impressive at all.

We were driving home late one night and this was the only place open that sounded good. It’s now my favorite place to go for Thai and Sushi. I’d rather drive further from home and go here than anywhere closer. We eat here at least once a week. This place never disappoints me, food is amazing as is the service.

I'll be completely honest when I say this place took me fully by surprise. I wasn't expecting too much first time I tried it out but I've been hooked on it since. Their pad Thai is unorthodox in the best way possible, they put their own spin on among my favorite dishes that just works so well. You cannot go wrong at all with the pad kee mong as well, especially with beef it's really really good. The curry is super good too, and like the rest of the dishes the portion size is so generous especially considering the price. The sushi is also very good, I haven't tried too many of the specialty rolls, but what I have tried has been phenomenal. I really can't wait to try everything on this menu while I'm here in Buffalo. Love this place, and I hope you will too! GO BILLS

I went with 2 friends, one who lives close by and LOVES Teton Kitchen. I was excited. She let us know that it wasn't the best in terms of atmosphere, but the food was fantastic! Here we go.
So both of my friends had superb dishes. One had udon noodles with shrimp, beautiful and delicious! The other had masaman curry, with vegetables and tofu. Again, absolutely delicious.
Now, my dish. In fact, quite a disappointment. I had the Bento Box with Halibut. I enjoy a Bento box meal because of the variety of tastes. #1 The incredible miso soup. Excellent. #2 The small salad was nothing to speak of. Mediocre. #3 The steamed dumpling. Just okay. #4 The California rolls . Okay. But the imitation crab was in a (salad-like) form I didn't exactly enjoy. I'm not an imitation crab fanatic, but I prefer it in a solid "stick) form. Just okay. (5). The fried fish, ugh. Fried, over cooked, dry, a bit tasteless. As well, I do not believe it was Halibut. The fish was a great disappointment. I would give it a 1 out of 5. I do not recommend the bento box meal. BUT, I do recommend BOTH of the other meals. Both were 5/5. As well, the Service, excellent, a 5/5. Really lovely waitress.
So, I will try this place again, because of the strength of the recommendation, and tasting my colleagues dishes!
For now, I'm only giving the food a 3 out of 5. The chef could have messed up, serving the overcooked fish.

Amazing food and service

Tried this restaurant twice. Two different entrée combinations. Both times I was pleased with the food. This is not a "fancy" place but the service was friendly and my friends who ordered various sushi rolls were also pleased.

I used too eat here all the time!!!!! I used to order to chicken fried rice and it honestly was so good!!!! But I ordered the chicken fried rice again since it been about 6 months.. But I was terribly let down it was definitely not as good as usual also I asked for spicy a number 3 out of 5 spicy and it wasn't spicy at all... And it cost a lot more now .. so just disappointing....

I can't believe I've never been here before the green curry is amazing, and the rice noodles were insane. AND the sushi was fantastic AND so were the appetizers. I want to try the entire menu

Wonderful little casual Thai and Japanese restaurant! The food was delicious and they had great gluten free options for my partner. I had the curry (forget which one!) and my partner had gluten free basil fried rice. We'll be going back soon, and that's what made me remember to finally leave a review!
