My family and I had a good chance to eat Thai food in Brooklyn at Udom Thai restaurant for the first time
We ordered food for our lunch and got surprised how generous they offered on the dish and the food was tasty and flavorful. So we enjoyed eating with good music and attentive service from staffs
The atmosphere was cozy, comfortable and welcoming. There is a bar in front of the restaurant but we don't order any alcohol
My favorite food here is fried rice with soft-shell crab
My family and I were happy and had a wonderful time at the restaurant
Thank you
The most disgusting thing Iβve seen in the history of ordering food at a restaurant besides hair in food. My condiments was shoved in my rice, requested a refund off course & threw the food away & I was given tilapia fish instead of salmon as advertised on Uber eats. Been a regular customer for years.. never again. See attached picture
A cute Thai restaurant with a reasonable price! The staff are super friendly as well. We enjoyed our dinner here a lot!
This Thai restaurant was nice itβs not how ever Authentic Thai. My friend had Tom yum prawn. It was nice however I found it a little too fish saucy, he also had chicken satay sticks super yummy. I had chicken pad see ew it was a little to sugary and the chicken it self was dry and not much pieces was way more noodles then anything els. Still was nice though. Staff where on the ball and friendly :-)
Udom Thai is another fantastic Thai restaurant in Brooklyn! Me and my friend loved the food so much and it is such a beautiful restaurant!!
The flavors are so authentic! The atmosphere is so nice! I loved seeing the elephants π on the wall.

Blue Hawaii - sake, pineapple juice, triple sec
Papaya Salad - green papayas, carrots and string beans
Salmon Steak with Fresh Mango

Mango Sticky Rice
My favorites were the Chicken Satay, Duck and Mango Thai

I had such a nice time, the food was just incredible amazing! Highly recommend it
Really good service and very delicious food.
Ordered takeout. Website said 15 minutes. Ended up waiting over 30 mins.
Food is great, but when they waste my time like this.....
The food is usually very tasty. But overall, I find the portions small for the prices they charge.
I was so disappointed with my last take out order of duck fried rice. The portion was small, the color of rice was darker than usual, it tasted different than the usual, it was bland & there wasn't much duck meat. I'm afraid to even wonder what was going on in the kitchen that led to such an outcome.
A total disappointment & a waste of $18.
I have been visiting this establishment since 2008. So, it's safe to say I am a regular. This is my "Cheers". You know the sitcom from 82-93. Enjoy the Thai food, many dishes to choose from and made with various proteins. Traditional meals prepared with taste.
Absolutely amazing restaurant!! Excellent service and extraordinarily exquisite Thai food! Hands down the best Thai food we have ever ate!! Yes, we have been to multiple Thai restaurants nationwide.
Love this restaurant! The place is beautiful and the menu offers a lot of different options. They are very accommodating when it comes to dietary restrictions. The manager goes out of her way to ensure customer comfort & satisfaction. The fried rice, noodles, fried ice cream and thai iced tea are some of the best classics. Their apple martini & lychee martini are also must-haves.
My wife and I have been eating here before COVID-19 and continue to enjoy this place and food
I really enjoy the pad Thai & whole fried stripe bass.

Food is amazing and the owner and staff were incredibly friendly! Will be back !
A vast array of food choices and customer service is excellent. Fast service and relaxing atmosphere.
Upon getting there it started raining it was not the easiest way to start my spring but I decided to lift my energy by coming here with the idea I would get the taste I received a year ago perhaps with the duck it was good ; something was just missing however I tasted the mussels which was delicious. Had I knew I would of got two it was clean ; hot , big , flavorful with the right portion and price so I would recommend both dishes even still . I even tired a sakejito which was not strong but tasted good . Perhaps I would continue to expand my taste buds in that area . It was nice music playing as always and clean as always . Family oriented so itβs a plus .
Food very good and is friendly
This is some of my worst pad thai I have tasted in my entire life. It tastes like someone fished it out of a dumpster and reheated it. Horrible. I would give zero stars if I could.
this is definitively the best thai food in central brooklyn. the most flavorful and perfectly seared pad see ew iβve really encountered in new york. also, they deliver so quickly it often catches me by surprise. it is just high quality food delivered basically on demand for a great price. thank you for your many years of service, udom thai!! you canβt go wrong with anything from the noodles or healthy dishes sections of the menu ππ»
Hands down - the worst Thai food I ever had⦠and that includes shady af food stands in Bangkok:-)
Look guys and gals I gotta give it to ya straight - after 5 million views of my stuff I can't just give any old establishment 5 stars - I just can't. They gotta earn it baby! Udom Thai is a favorite spot of mine because they seem to care about the neighborhood and they care about the food they prepare every night - so you can't miss with this place. Now they have a bar in the front of the restaurant and it gives you Bangkok night life vibes minus the ladies of the night and ladyboys hounding you. The food is always fresh, plentiful and tasty. The drinks are creative and pretty good. I ordered the whole Bass fried light with tamarind sauce and Jasmin Rice with a strawberry lemonade with rhum - it hit the spot and to be honest it was just good food without the jazzy stuff other restaurants give you. My kid was with me and she had the Pad Se Ew with beef (sorry if I spelled it wrong) and Thai iced tea and boy it looked and smelled amazing. Sorry I didn't take any pictures this go round. But if you want really good Thai food without breaking the bank - Udom Thai is a top choice. Parking does suck though but that's not Management's fault - that's the price you pay for being in one of BK's hottest neighborhoods. Take the family, the significant other or the crew if you want a really good food night for a good price.
I placed an order accidentally for pick up instead of delivery. The lady who picked up the phone was really friendly. She offered to deliver my food in a very fast speed! the food was delicious! thank you again! will def come again!
Great place for Thai takeout, always ready when i arrive and consistently delicious!
Most definitely the best Thai restaurant in the area
Iβve probably tried them all
Nice and cool place. Food was very good! Will go again. Only the take out portion is very small for the money
Excellent Food and Quite Surrounding

Very good, standard Thai. Plenty of choices, everything's been tasty. Very nice and accommodating staff.
Phenomenal experience. By far, one of the best Thai restaurants I have been to. Will be coming to New York more often to eat here.
Food was really good. The woman behind the counter seemed upset because I didn't understand what she was telling me. When I asked her to please repeat herself she had an attitude π. Other than that food was decent.
This place was so accommodating! Three of us came just on a whim looking for a bar and we stumbled on this jem. The bartender who I think was the owner was so nice and was so accommodating. I will definitely be back next time Iβm in Brooklyn!
It's usually my go-to place for Thai, I feel as though they somehow they are always forgetting to make my dish a bit more spicy. Overall, it is good tasting, affordable food. π
Beautiful Place... Food and Service is on point.
Food is fine, but the lunch special is a total rip off unless you bring cash. A $12 lunch special ($13 with tax, before tip) became $20 (tax + tip) bc I had to buy a side of rice to meet the minimum payment. It says $2 on the menu (was charged $3) and was miniscule and not that good.
The flavor just isn't there for the food at all! I normally go to Muse right down the street, but wanted to try something new and it was a complete waste of money. Service was nice, food was terrible.
This Thai restaurant was nice itβs not how ever Authentic Thai. My friend had Tom yum prawn. It was nice however I found it a little too fish saucy, he also had chicken satay sticks super yummy. The food is the best thai in Brooklyn.
DON'T EAT HERE
! Let me start by saying that I've given this place multiple tries. I notice this restaurant does not take themselves seriously either as I see that reaponses to any negative reviews look like they're just excuses written by a snarky preteen with bad grammar and no accountability. I ordered a lunch, and my pad thai came with only 3 regular size shrimp in the entire dish. The spring roll and little few extra items with it were burnt (like they refried multiple times ) oily items that u can tell are pre-packaged. That lunch , an appetizer and dessert cost about $50. They also forgot my Thai tea. Only thing ok was the custard dessert. Just ok.
Aothwr day $45 for an at home meal for 1 person is ridiculous, but then to get your meal and the noodles feel undercooked AND soggy is wild. The beef was tough, overcooked and dry. Honestly the entire dish, despite the oil seemed like dried out leftovers. Food was just poor quality. There are too many good Thai places to pay for this less than mediocre, overpriced food! I've seen them respond saying the prices are on par with the neighborhood, and even if that were true, those other places have good quality food and don't make excuses! I'm so disappointed
We have been ordering over the phone for the past 3 days. We decided to walk in and order and we were just completely turned off by the service. I donβt like to say the word racism, however, when a different ethnicity of people came in they were greeted with smiles and hello. The lady at the front desk was rude.
Food is okay, drinks could be better but the prices are fair.
Good food. Great service. Glad that they had options for vegans too. I'll eat there again.

This place is a very average round the way spot. If you want dried salmon and wings that have been overcooked, this is the place for you. This B-rated restaurant sits in a cozy neighborhood with multiple sit ins in its surrounding. The service gets one star as well, since we had to remind the people that work there to actually serve. No one checked on us to make sure the food was ok (and it wasnβt, I was just too scared to send my salmon back), offered napkins or even shooed our flies away.
I love Thai food but this wasnβt it.
Great food!
Great spot for a casual dinner. I love their tom kha soup, chive dumplings, and samosa triangles. They have tasty, inexpensive cocktails too.
Their food is delicious. I love their hospitality. I strongly suggest you try the barbecue chicken & pad thia
I've given this place a number of tries to get it right being that I am in the neighborhood, but I am disappointed every time. One time I ordered some kind of sweet and sour tofu dish and it was absolutely horrible. All I tasted was ketchup. It had a tons of green peppers, hardly no tofu and the tofu it did have was dry. Ordered chicken satay today. Chicken tasted undercooked. I'm praying I don't get sick behind it. It was partially grilled chicken on a sad bed of salad that contained just iceberg lettuce. The green drink with some kind of fruit in it was delicious though, but the dish was overpriced and undercooked. Their thai iced tea taste watery and I swear I'm feeling a little nauseated writing this. I used to order their four-seasons dish, but even that's gone to hell in handbasket--mushy string beans and dry tofu. I called the owner one time to complain they just said sorry with no offer to make it right. I was told the owner would return my call and this person never did. I tried to support a small business but it's clear they're just in it for the money and could care less about customer satisfaction. I'm done with this place.
Udom just not what it use to be, have been going here for years and have recommended it to so many people, one of my friends came up from DC over the memorial weekend took his family there and he was disappointed, said it just not the βspotβ anymore. Food now honestly has no favor, the calamari taste like it was dip in flour and fried and thatβs it ( this is my opinion as well ) , no seasoning of the calamari or batter however they did it but the taste is plain like much of the food has gotten, what happened Udom???
To be honest the food and the customer service at Udom Thai used to be second to none. You could buy over $30 in food which in my opinion is pretty decent and they would offer you a free iced tea. Now whenever I call the woman is always rushing and she never take the time to listen to what j have to say. Many times I request certain items and pay for them only to never receive them then when I call they always tell me next time they will add it on the house that never happens. As per the food it used to super delicious but I don't know if it's because they have gotten busier but in my humble opinion the quality went down a bit. It's a pity that loyal customers like myself who have ordering from this establishment from day one when they first opened is simply treated like number. For now I guess I cam tolerate the customer service but not sure about that in the future. WIll I recommend them to family and friends? That remains to be seem. Hopefully their customer service will get better and maybe they will include some kind of appreciation for repeat customers. Let's see.
LOVE the pad see ew! super quick and so good :)
Good food
I came here for a date, we were seated fast and attended to the whole time. Amazing food and service, music was decent. Food is always great here. I absolutely loved my experience here.
Good Food. Small place.
Great food a little spicy though.
If you want greasy food that causes stomach aches, Udom Thai is the place to go. The drunken noodles were nothing more than grease and noodles!! There was no flavor or depth. My order tasted like it was cooked in the microwave! Utterly disgusting and a waste of $15. I will never eat here again!
Small Restaurant wonderful atmosphere service was amazing! Very much enjoyed the food.
- Curry puffs were huge π (had alot of filling) flavourful, not too sweet, and had a fluffy crunchy outside. Came with a delicious cucumber sauce.
- Roti and Massaman curry was amazing. The roti was super soft how I like it, and curry was sweet and flavourful
- Rice dried out supppper quick tho and ended being really hard
- Peanut sauce dumplings were good.
Food was surprisingly great. Great values on the lunch special too.
Some of the waitresses can be rude
Food was delicious and lovely staff
Iβm a new regular and I must say it has been a complete pleasure. Their food is consistent. My favorites are their basil noodles (drunken noodles) and their Hawaiian fried rice. Love the Lychee tea as well.
The also accommodate nut and seafood allergies! Major bonus.
My favorite place to go with the family!
On 10/23 PM my order was burnt, Pineapple Fried Rice with Salmon and Vegetable Spring roll.
1-2 years ago this restaurant was awesome! The last two times Iβve ordered from here the meal has been disgusting. I taste way to much salt. The rice is hard. The serving of sauce is tiny. The service is great but if there has been a change in the cook/chef heβs needs to straighten up. Itβs even more annoying because I always tip cash and I just feel like Iβm wasting my money and time. Undeserved.
All the pictures and discrimination of this food was so appealing, but it was yuk. This is not real Thai food. I've been eating Thai since I was in high school and this is not it. The spring rolls were fried too hard. The Avocado shrip was bland in flavor and no kick of spice. The brown rice looked as if it was mixed with white rice. Not sure why some of the gains looked totally white. The sweet and sour Hawaii with grill salmon did not have any flavor. This place needs to season their food.
Not sure why this was a signature dish. The shrimp cakes was over fried and chewy, it too had no flavor. All this food went to the garbage. I'm so sad I spent over $70 on all of that. It was not worth it and I will never return. I'll continue on pass this place back to Spice resturant.
Delicious and so reasonable too
The drinks are very strong and the food is delicious
Food isn't really the same as a few years ago but they got good customer service and try when I told them what was wrong
Love this place! π
I have enjoyed the food here for years! I have brought my kids to dine in however I almost always order to go as I am usually on the move. Admittedly, I have a select number of dishes that I end up ordering but I truly look forward to them. The proprietor has always been a delight to interact with and patrons look happy whenever I enter. Try the Chicken Curry Puffs appetizer!
Food was really good. Calamari tasted fresh and had a great crisp,
The menu makes me crazy! Too much to choose from, so I try something different every time. Lol It was hard to resist the mango sticky rice, but I did. My go-to spit going home from the office.
Definitely a date night spot. Small biz with great chef and great service. Can order out or dine in.
The food is not even mediocre, it's simply not good
Great food quaint place
Great food beautiful atmosphere
I have been going there for years and it's always great food and atmosphere
Foods always good here!
Service was ok but our meals were just not up to scratch. The crispy duck had seen better days as had the broccoli with the shrimp dish
I would not return there
Delicious food
Excellent food and service!
Takeout order took an hour. Poorly run operation, couldnβt handle Sunday night order volume for people dining in or taking out. Recommend passing.
My girlfriend and I came here on a whim for dinner. We each got a drink, appetizer, and entree for an amazing ~$30 price. Would highly recommend as itβs great food for a great deal. Happy hour drinks are an amazing deal too.
The food is great but I would really like for this restaurant to stop leaving garbage in the street. I live nearby and I am constantly having to dodge huge piles of shrimp shells and other stuff that has been dumped on the ground/sidewalk. Prospect Heights already has a huge problem with rats and this contributes to it. If this problem is fixed I will be much more likely to come eat here. Thanks for reading.
Its ok. The prices on their online menu do not match what they charge. The taste is good but It's not the price for the portion size and amount of protein.
I ordered food for 3 which included 2 orders of fried rice. The rice was not cooked properly, there were a few clumps of white rice, the dish was burned and you could taste it. This was one of the worst experiences I have ever had with any restaurant. They did offer to replace it but I do not trust it so they have lost a customer.
My friends and I tried Udom and it was genuinely one of the best Thai places weβve ever been to! The portions were huge and we had plenty of food to take home. Our server was super friendly and we went for lunch so the place wasnβt that busy. Highly recommend the Pad Thai - no other Thai place Iβve tried so far is even comparable to the service and quality of food here
The food is really good.
My favorite Thai restaurant in nyc ,it's welcoming ! Staff provides great customer service ,food is freshly done and the taste remains the same throughout the years ..
Such great service
What an excellent place. The food was delicious and they served us pretty fast. I devoured that plate (the beef pad see ew) along with a fantastic thai iced tea. Great spot
Great curry puffs! π©
Think this is one my favorite restaurants..it's small but the food makes up for it!!! And the lemonade is fantastic!!! π₯°
Went here after work with my boyfriend, and it was such a great experience. We ordered the spring rolls as an appetizer, which I loved and my boyfriend was super amazed by it lol. I had the salmon fried rice which was great and I donβt remember what he had but it was some type of chicken , but he loved it ! Service was attentive , an overall great dining experience!
unique thai food with amazing service
Average Thai food restaurant reasonably priced.
My food was cold and too salty, Udom used to be my favorite restaurant
Great Green Curry! Spicy & full of flavor.
Food was excellent! Loved the atmosphere and the Celine Dion music!! Hope they share the playlist
The best Thai food ever! The food never disappoints..
Great tasting food
The spicey seafood fried rice is great. Good service
Super delicious and they are go getters, unlike the rest of the thai joints in the area that decided to close earlier than the time posted. After wasting 3 uber/lyft rides to places that were closed, these kind people said "come on over".
Amazing food! Stayed open and fed us when everyone else closed early! Very very yummy!
Ordered on restaurantβs website for pickup and they said they never got it. This has happened twice. They just say βsorry.β Yet they continue to offer ordering through it.
Great food, excellent service!
