Had an unbelievably disappointing experience with this restaurant this evening. My partner ordered curry from Uber eats. We have called and spoken with this restaurant before, as he has a life threatening allergy to peanuts and legumes. They have been in the past, extremely accommodating, with the chef even going as far to explain exactly what dishes/broths contain peanuts and what is safe, of which we have a list and always send a reminder. We order somewhat frequently and have always loved this food.

Tonight was a polar opposite. We ordered as usual, with a note, and lo and behold, my partner experienced itching and hives upon touching the bag. Imagine my shock to open it up and find a plastic container of all things, crushed peanuts. Peanuts don’t even come with this curry. This feels cruel, as it was knowingly exposing someone to an allergen that was communicated. Luckily no epipen was needed as it was at least sealed, and Benadryl will help with hives. As individuals with deathly peanut and tree nut allergies, we never place the onus on a restaurant to accommodate us, we place responsibility on ourselves. That being said, this restaurant is now off the safe list. Those with food allergens please beware.

Super yummy, I ordered the chicken pad Thai with mild spice. Definitely had a kicked to it. Sauce was great and greatly portioned. I also ordered the Thai fried rice, it was super yummy. Will definitely order again!

The rice paper veggie rolls I could not eat them tasted like chemicals where in the veggies was really gross I was thinking they must wash the vegetables with something but I don’t know taste was horrible the chicken dumplings where good

This is only because I know my DoorDash review probably won’t get posted, but it’s been multiple times we have ordered from here on DoorDash and the order has been cancelled after waiting over an hour. Don’t put yourself on DoorDash if you can’t fulfill your orders.

The food didn’t taste like Thai food and ingredients were off. I’ve been eating Thai food forever and my Tom yum soup was like someone just threw a bunch of different spices in a bowl. Didn’t taste like soup. Also eggs in pad Thai ? Eggs don’t go good with peanuts.

This is the most amazing Thai food. So authentic and great flavors in their dishes. The service is amazing. The guy there is so sweet and helpful in recommending different dishes.

The food was AMAZING and our server was so attentive and very kind; I felt like I was at a friend's house. If you are in the Syracuse area, I would highly encourage you to check this place out! I would have to say this was some of the best Thai food I have had in a while!

I've ordered from here several times. They used to have the best PadThai. Even with delivery, the order was right on point. This time, I ordered the PadThai on UberEats. They now force you to choose two proteins. I chose peanuts as the second protein. The order had no peanuts - though I was charged for it. The PadThai was a miserable, salty, lump of noodles. Pitiful really. They also have a type of spring rolls called "Instead Noodle." HA! Instead of spring rolls, they literally gave me a box of lumpy noodles. How obtuse can you be? I also ordered a thai tea - instead I was given a can of banana boba tea. There is a large sign on the side of the building that proclaims proudly, "under new management." I hope the new management gets its act together. This was a very unpleasant and expensive experience. $28 bucks for pad thai, a quart of plain noodles, and can of tea. Won't be ordering again anytime soon. There are lots of "meh" Thai places in Syracuse that will get your order right. This was not one of them. In case you were wondering, I did try to go back and have this fixed, but they had locked the door and didn't respond to my knocking.

I ordered delivery from here multiple times. They were always good but recently they must’ve changed their chef. The same dishes I ordered looked different and also packaged differently. I even had to double check I ordered from the right place. To my surprise, the food tasted even better! I had the spring rolls, Tom yum soup and the pad kee mow noodles. Shrimp was cooked to perfection, the soup hit the spot, and the spring rolls were so crispy. Definitely a go to.

Curry servings are a little stingy for $11, mostly sauce. Chicken was tough and overcooked. Flavor is good but don't order the curry. The noodle dishes are almost certainly their strong point.

My Massaman curry was not good today! There was no basil, mushrooms, bamboo shoots, or peppers! It had very little chicken and was instead filled with beans and sliced onion? There was also a random piece of lettuce in there? Usually like this place but today it was awful!!!

Best food in syracuse

I love their pad see ew (I like to get medium spice) and their spring rolls with the carrot dipping sauce. Their shrimp wraps are also delicious. The noodles and sauce they use for the pad see ew are perfect. Never overcooked and the veggies have the perfect texture. I don't live in the area anymore and I crave their food all the time. No other Thai place I've been to makes their pad see ew like that, so I've stopped ordering that dish altogether because it has only led to disappointment. AppeThaizing really set the bar high!

Picked up Pad Thai to go. It was ok. Flavor was good, a little on the sweeter side, I just wish they put some cabbage and Cilantro. I also wished they had offered me some chili sauce for it.

Authentic flavors at affordable prices. Quality is consistently high. We’ve only ever gotten takeout due to the pandemic but it makes our day every time!

This place works absolutely backwards I was the first one in and last one out. My order was placed over 35 minutes ago and when I get there my order is still not made. Had to wait another 20 minutes before I got my food, oh ya it’s about 100 degrees in there

The vegan dish I ordered had eggs in it, and my friend's dish had no eggs when it was supposed to have them. As soon as I called, they started preparing a new batch for us, and even waited to lock up the restaurant to close it for the night so that we could pick up our food again (sorry about that). I wish more restaurants were this responsive and helpful. The food was incredible, and very reasonably priced. I'll definitely be ordering from here again, and pushing all of my friends to give appeThaizing a shot.

Definitely authentic Thai. I found it to be a bit under seasoned. They really pull their punch when it comes to fish sauce, which is the salt in Thai cooking. The result is that some of the flavors are a little bit bland. however there is no arguing that this is authentic Thai food. I will go back.

Really great Curry! Better than any of the Thai restaurants in the area. The cooks are actually cooking the food as they do in SE Asia, so I assume the complainers are used to the Americanized version of Thai food. I eat here several times a month. It is delicious and fast. The service is good to great every time, even when they are insanely busy, which they always are during the lunch hours. It's also really cheap. $8 for a complete meal. Yum!

There is a pretty rank odor in that restaurant. Its been like that for a couple of years now.

Pretty unhappy right now that an order I placed for catering a week ago and confirmed by the restaurant was "forgotten"... so I have hungry staff and visitors, no lunch, and I'm embarrassed. They are "making it right now" and the delivery will be an hour late - totally messing up my visitor's itinerary. Will not be ordering from them again. Perhaps I should "forget" to pay the bill.

They don't deliver past their backyard. They need to get it together and adhere to a respectable business policy that would consist of providing a food service to people within a reasonable distance instead of only a mile away and overcharging for food to make up for their chosen limited clientele. Amateur hour.
