I ordered the papaya salad. Spicy and not much additional flavor. The tao hu hor is a vegetarian dish. It consists of bean curd with shitake mushrooms served on a bed of Chinese broccoli with a basil and black bean sauce. The sauce is good but the bean curd/tofu was fried and not steamed. It was overcooked and hard to chew.
I decided to order last night (2.16) because I was craving coconut curry. Growing up, my best friend's mom would make it for us and it was one of the best meals ever!
I called in for delivery and they explained they don't have an in-house person, I would have to use an online portal. I could have easily gotten off my couch and walked up the block and saved myself $25 but I just started the gym again and cardio kicked my butt.
My husband doesn't have much experience with Thai cuisine and neither do my kids so I decided to just order a bunch of things we could try together. I wound up getting wings, samosas, dumplings, chicken gaeng panang (red coconut curry with peppers and onions), chicken gaeng kept wahh plak (green coconut curry with eggplant, tofu, veg), volcano chicken, and Thailand beef. Here's my take on each item:
Wings: 6.5/10 breaded frozen wings, deep fried and coated in a chili sauce. They were good, nothing special.
Samosas: 6.5/10 tiny, cheez it sized. Not 6 pieces as advertised. They were flavorful, though. The curry and lentil came through and they were served with a 1 oz ramekin of panang curry for dipping which amped up the flavor.
Chicken and veg dumplings: 5/10 average bagged stuff. Served with 2 types of dipping sauce, a soy based and a chili based. They were fine, again, nothing special.
Red curry: 9/10 Absolutely delicious! Just enough heat in the broth, not an overwhelming amount of vegetables, and there was enough chicken. The chicken itself was pounded thin and then cornstarch coated. The broth soaked into the coating, turning it translucent and mushy, but it wasn't bad or rubbery.
Green curry: 10/10 My husband kept calling God with every bite he took. He said it had great heat, nice sweetness from the coconut milk, some sourness for balance, and he enjoys eggplant and tofu so he was raving about that!
Volcano chicken: 10/10 Fantastic! It was thinly pounded chicken sautéed with 3 types of peppers and 2 types of onions. It was seasoned with all spice, garlic, ginger, and a little soy I think. This was fresh and spicy and not as nutty as a traditional stir fry made with sesame oil. There was a slight sweetness instead of the nuttiness.
Thailand beef: 8/10 Delicious! Thinly pounded beef with bell peppers and red and white onions in a bbq sauce. When they said bbq sauce, I was expecting like a sweet tomato based or smoky flavored sauce. Nope. This was more of a sweet and slightly sour teriyaki. It was sticky, yet light. I just wish there was more beef in it! The veggies were good, though.
The 4 dishes came with a choice of rice. I opted for jasmine because I felt like coconut rice would be overkill.
All in all, I'll definitely order again! Me and my kids really enjoyed it and my husband talked about it for hours, and when I told him to shut up about it, he called his friend to tell him about it! I'm looking forward to trying the Honey and Garlic chicken, the noodles, and some seafood dishes next time!
Had some delivery from them for an office lunch. Their food was good like usual but they forgot the rice to our 1 order of curry... and when we called them, the lady sounded annoyed and did not tell us if they are sending the rice or not, until we called them a second time. Overall, service..was just ok 😬...
Usually through seamless, there isn't the choice of lunch specials so it is recommended to order through the website that is provided if you search them up. Their lunch specials come with a soup or salad. I usually get their drunken noodles with a 3-4 star level of spicy (which probably is too spicy for others who don't usually eat spicy). This time we decided to get their curry puff and their summer roll to share. The curry puff wasn't bad, it comes with this sweet-ish sauce. Their summer roll though... there wasn't really anything special about it. It is just the rice paper wrapping a bunch of veggies and what I believe to be green mango pieces(?), and it didn't come with any sauce... Other than that, their other noodles and dishes are pretty good. For example their pad see ew, their pad thai, the... coconut noodle(?) and their pineapple fried rice are all ones that I've tried before.
Mango with sticky rice was very bad , if the mango isn’t ripe , pls call the customer to offer something else, or don’t offer it on the menu. Sticky rice tastes like they just mixed coconut milk with sticky rice in the microwave.
Ordered Mango Chicken lunch special, which included a salad and side of white rice. Healthy portion of crisp vegetables, mango and generous amount of succulent chicken in a delicious sauce. Fresh green salad with awesome dressing. Absolutely delicious and tasty. Great service and friendly server, clean and pleasant environment. Excellent food and great value ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Excellent thai food for a great price! I really liked the tom yum goong, pad see yew and green curry.
JusT OK

Terrible
Ordered pad Thai and it was so bad
Threw it away - do not order
Goood
Best curry!!
Probably one of the best places to get thai food, i drive there from Staten Island just to get it!
I miss this underrated GEM of AWESOMENESS that had sexy women working here and delicious REAL MEAT in every order. So many restaurants use fake meat but not this hidden diamond.
They need giant restaurant chains in every main street of every borough that is loaded with cops to protect the area. Like 42 street for example. I'm glad this place is still open. I might revisit with a giant group of friends and fill up all the tables.
We ordered a large meal for the family on a Saturday night and loved it! Everything was delicious especially the Pineapple Coconut shrimp curry. The spice levels were very reasonable, only the baby thought it was a bit too hot. We’ll be ordering again soon!
Delicious!
前台那个女的人品有问题,服务态度极差。
Tastes close to real Thailand Thai food. Friendly service. Tom Kha Gai very good on a cold day
Best chicken wings I've ever had. And they were bigger than all the other places. Small place. But you can eat in. Large menu. I always have Tom Yam soup in any Thai restaurant. Pad Thai noodles were as I expected. And of course sticky rice.
Just ordered sweet sticky rice with mango. The rice tasted like plain white rice drenched in warmed up watery coconut milk, the mango was so hard not even close to being ripe and very unsweet!
This is more of a Chinese fast food place than Thai food, the flavor is there but doesn’t seem too authentic, prices are a bit higher than average but at the end of the day it’s good food
If it was possible to put a zero star, I would put a zero star, there is not a gram of humanity with them, I work as a delivery man and on a hot day I came to him (the woman worked) and asked for water. I forgot to buy water, I asked for water but she showed me a bottle of water and said $1, I said I don't have cash, you can use Apple Pay, she said no and took the water away, it’s good that we don’t live in the 17th century)😅
Never ever come back, The woman at the front desk never smiles to you.
The food and teas were amazing. Perfect little place.
The ricr was meh and over peppered but the hui fun was good

Ordered delivery from them. The "mango sticky rice" was not sticky. Was just regular rice in a milk sauce. The chicken curry was the Worst one I have yet to taste in a Thai restaurant. And the 7 dollars for curry puffs is a joke - the curry puffs are Tiny. This was a disappointment through and through.
Delicious food and friendly polite service.
I used to goto this restaurant weekly. I spent maybe $50-$100 per week on curry and soups. Then my order was incorrect one day. No meat. Then they gave me the wrong soup another 2nd order. I told them and they again gave no meat for a 3rd time and they didn’t care. So when I got home with the incorrect order once again I simply called via phone, just to tell them they will NO LONGER HAVE MY BUSINESS. He said “wrong order? Which one?”. So, my money will not ever goto Thai Leaf again. Very disrespectful.
This food is amazing! Every time I have ordered the food has come STEAMING HOT, FRESH AND DELICIOUS! The chef clearly has pride in his food and it shows! You wont be disappointed in anything you order! Well balanced flavors, and a generous serving of food that can last for 2 meals.
🔥
Terrible cold food shows up after 2 hours. Order elsewhere
Beautiful best pretty good luck with your store it's amazing wonderful cute amazing wonderful can I buy your store for $30 million dollars
Sooooo good ❤️
I like their soups and summer rolls! The best mango salad is here for you too.
Comida auténtica thailandesa, el ice tea delicioso
Drunken noodles and basil fried rice was great, "regular spicy" was a 2 on a scale of 1-5. The samosas were tiny and not very flavorful...hard pass...however, the sauce they came with was really good and 2.5 - 3 on a 1-5 scale.
Nice spot for Thai food. I’ve ordered from there about 20 times already, as a neighbor. A few times, they made it too spicy to consume - and that’s coming from someone who loves spicy food.
Unprofessional and rude manager.
Awful food. We ordered pad Thai, Tom yum soup and fried bananas. Pad Thai tasted nothing like authentic pad Thai. Wasn’t greats Tom yum soup was awful. Extremely bland flavor. Tasted NOTHING like Tom yum. Fried bananas were supposed to come with honey but came with maple syrup. The food was not worth the buy. Place on ocean Ave had a cheaper Tom yum and it still tasted better.
great food.
Substandard!
There is no effort out into cooking the food.
They stopped caring a long time ago!
I’ve had better frozen Thai food from Costco!
Don’t waste your money on disappointment!
Ordered food via Ubereats. The pad see ew was not spicy, and smelled bad. The pad Thai was gross and mushy. Do not recommend.
Decent Thai food for the price. Their Thai iced tea is only 3 dollars and while not authentic its still pretty good. Their lunch special portions are good for an average eater. I ordered a regular pad kee Mao spicy because I was extra hungry. They can also customize if you don't like certain things like bean sprouts or cilantro. Ordered in person and it took 10 minutes or less to get my food. This hits that quick cheap Thai food hankering if you got it.
Very worst place bad 👎service
Nice staffs. Food was good! Price wasnt bad at all. Would recommend anyone to try it

Had a Pad See Ew with shrimp for quick take out. My bf and I both love it! Want to order again next time!
Worst fried Oreos ever didn’t even put any effort in making them
Food is usually on point and definitely know how to make it spicy which i can certainly appreciate. Its worth making the trip to them and its about a 15 minute drive for me with Brooklyn traffic.
I have been there a couple times. Even though it is a small place, but provide pretty good services and food. I will definitely come back there when NYC is open to dine in.
Great things fresh
I like the food very much and the owner is also very nice
My Favorite Thai place. I order here frequently. And they make menu substitutions which Is aiding me tremendously with my Dietary concerns.
I have been wanting to get my Thai on at this little spot for quite a while now, and since today was a pamper me day, I treated myself after a mani-pedi. Hands down, Thai Leaf makes the best Tom Ka Gai, my favorite Thai soup. Not only was the aroma pleasing but my taste buds were jumping for joy. There was the right amount of coconut milk and spices. As I write, I am polishing off the remainder of my Thai Fried Rice. The portions are very, very generous so I had to pack a doggie bag. No other Thai restauarant I know of charges the same for shrimp as for chicken and beef in its Thai rice. And the shrimps seem to be about 20+ deep in this serving. What othe restaurant gives you all that? Seriously!I am going back to Thai Leaf every chance I get.
our new go-to thai for delivery. everything has been really delicious, and generally on the spicy side, but they ask you to specify how spicy you want it so you can adjust in the future. The beef satay is truly mind-blowing.
Love their Tom Khai soup and papaya salad! So good.
My boyfriend and I love the food from here. It's not a romantic ideal place for a date but the food makes up for it. We have came in the winter and does tend to get cold inside. I give it a four because of its setting.
Very nice tea collection , good desert , expensive
We ordered somewhat late for delivery. The driver was prompt and quite polite. We tried the panang curry which was bland and flavorless, the dumplings were decent, the mango sticky rice had some sort of onion in it, and the pad Thai smelled of dish water and had an awful taste. We did not eat any of the food and threw it all away. We called them to get a refund and the lady said they couldn’t do it since they were closed. We called back the next day and she still refused, then hung up on us! If you’re thinking to go here, save that money and portion of your life you will never get back. Horrible food, worse customer service!
No thank you ordered shrimp calamari got 3 pieces of shrimp vegetables no calamari not my first time ordering from this place will be my last. Anyone ordering just double check your order...
Better to spend your hardworking money elsewhere.
The food was not fresh. The coconut pineapple fried rice was hard and old. The vegetable dumplings was sour. This was my 3rd time going to this restaurant and it will be my last!!!!
For great food and service Thai Leaf is the the place to go to
One of the best Thai food in town! I loove their spicy soups! Spicy and sour, a good combination of flavors. Service is quick and attentive. The place is really small (basically mostly for pick up orders) they have like 2 or 3 tables. Definitely worth to try if you are in Bay ridge area for quick and not expensive lunch or dinner.
Tiny place but very homie. Great quality food. Thank you!
Finally a place in the neighborhood that does really spicy food. Not like tgif spicy, real stuff. Very generous portion, inexpensive and definitely tasty.
Recommended.
Quality food! The pahd wooson is tastier than the pahd thai (which is also good). The shrimps they include are a great size and quantity (definitely bigger than other take-out foods). They only have limited seating in the restaurant (2 tables that can sit 4 and 1 that can sit two and 1 long table) so it's not usually a sit-down date place but great if you want a quiet place to eat with a friend or spouse. Definitely try them!
Been there 5 times in 2 weeks, great food, greatvalue
This place lied about how long the delivery was going to take. They expected me to pay for food after it sat for about 30 minutes on the counter waiting for a driver. I called seamless who issued a refund...not them. When I called the restaurant back to confirm...they hung up on me. Beware
I had the "beef lar nard". This dish was THEE BEST Thai food I've had...BY FAR. DO NOT SLEEP ON THIS LITTLE THAI SPOT. If the other dishes are anything like this....I'm SOLD!! And if not...that's cool cuz I will come and order the same dish, over and over again.
Just ordered from thai leaf. Won’t lieTom kha was delicious. But fried tofu was old and stale. Both me and my husband spit it out as soon as we tried it. I called restaurant to let them know. Women on the phone told me it’s impossible, it’s was just fried and hanged up on me...
I would give this place 0 if possible! Driver was lost and did not speak english so giving him direction was impossible. The restaurant was unless in resolving the issue! Put on hold for 20 mins and food never arrived! Awful customer service!
Tiny but nice place.
Excellent Thai food in Bay Ridge.
This place smells amazing whenever I pass by. The food is cheap, delicious, and you get a pretty good portion.
Delicious and great delivery service!
OMG! I love this place this place is so good! I will recommend this place to all of u guys! It's just open a few days ago! It grand opening, also it grand opening so it 20% OFF!!!
