They forgot to put salt in fried rice. And it's actually drenched in oil. It's inedible and careless about people who eat it.

Due to a typo, we ordered mango sticky rice without mango. They wanted the rice we opened back so they can remake and charge differently. FOOD SAFETY VIOLATION. And cheap.

Their food didn't have any flavor.

The lady that took my phone order seemed nice. When I walked inside the restaurant, the young guy at the front desk just looked at me like he didn't want me there. He didn't greet me. He only asked me why I was there. He rang me up and handed me my food and didn't say anything else. Bad day maybe, but he needs to remember that the customers are the ones giving his family income. No good for mommy if he pushes away the customers. They didn't give me any napkins or utensils.

The laab chicken was extra sour and salty. It tasted like ground chicken soaked in salt and lime juice. The drunken noodles were so bland, barely had any basil, and the beef tasted weird. The drunken noodles were also soaked in grease, as you can see in the picture.

This year my partner and I celebrated six years together and we chose to have "date night" at Insee Thai because the food and the service have always been fantastic. It was definitely the right choice. It's fairly casual and affordable, which I think makes it accessible, but don't let that fool you! The overall experience is consistently phenomenal. It is my favorite spot in Henry County.

If I could give negative stars, I would! THE FOOD HERE IS TERRIBLE!! I remember ordering a chicken entree... NOT CHICKEN JERKY!! Look at the pic! It really does not do it justice, so imagine getting chicken that has been refried maybe 5 or 6 times!! If I had delicate gums, I would have ended up in the ER from gaping wounds in my mouth! That's how dry and hard the chicken was in my food. And like another reviewer mentioned here, I paid extra for shrimp in my entree, but unlike him, who got 1 shrimp, I GOT NONE! And let's talk about the absolute lack of sauce in their curry! I love thai food, but this is not it! How about not just throwing in frozen carrots and bell peppers as an afterthought to pass as accompanied vegetables in your dish? And all this misery, plus tip, cost me almost $80 for 4 entrees! You people should be ashamed of yourselves! To all readers of this review, I beg you, STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! And yes, restaurant owner, I absolutely dare you to reply to this review! I always get takeout however the staff has always been very kind! I just wish the curry sauce was less watery and they gave larger portions to justify the prices. Especially for the dessert. I got the smallest portion here than anywhere I’ve been to for sticky rice, and it’s expensive.

Went there before and it wasn’t that great thought I would try it again to be sure, had the chicken coconut soup with no chicken in it. They put shrimp instead it was fairy watery. Also had a mixed vegetables and noodle dish. That was tasteless. They were getting ready to close so maybe they just do something together for me. Don’t think I will be going there again

Food is decent but there is a man that takes the orders on the phone that makes the experience absolutely horrible and then when he serves you he is just as bad. He sounds like he has an attitude 24/7 and because of him If I call and he answers I hang up and find somewhere else to eat.

This is my absolute favorite place for Thai food and I’m so happy it’s on the South side! They’ve never gotten my order wrong and I eat here at least once a month.

I order via their website or on a food service app and it is always prepared fast. Service is good, it’s friendly. I haven’t sat inside to eat in quite a few years, but the atmosphere was pretty chill.

Don’t sleep on their food, and if you don’t mind spice, ask for spicy fish sauce. I get it every time and pour it on my food.

Our faves are their Thai curries, basil fried rice, and my husband loves their pad Thai. On occasion, I also get the Tom Ka Gai coconut soup which is delicious and so fragrant. It’s not made sweet like other places I’ve tried. I also get the cream cheese roll and dip it in spicy fish sauce, it’s a winning combo, trust me.

Food was ok, may come back and try other dishes

Door dash my order to a near hotel since I travel and not from the area. Ordered the pad kemu with extra shrimp they literally put ONE shrimp in it! Also ordered the thai yellow curry medium hot and it was not hot at all!!!! Very disappointed

Not great. Pad thai was the worst I’ve had. Only 3 shrimp when you add shrimp as a protein?! That’s ridiculous (yes I was told beforehand and it is still ridiculous). You should have better portions. The taste and seasoning were underwhelming both in the pad thai and yellow curry and you didn’t even have the potatoes/peas etc in it, just a few carrots. Will not return.

The customer service is horrible. I spoke to the gentle man that works there. He literally told that if I didn’t like how I was treated to go somewhere else that doesn’t treat me that way. I said thank you, I will. Today will be my last day. I was so appalled by this behavior. The fact that there wasn’t even an apology, made me feel even worst. We won’t be missing much because the food is mediocre on its best day.

I'm sorry for this Review. I wanted to take my neice for lunch. I looked up thai restaurants and decided we can try someplace new. Despite the bad reviews written about this restaurant, we went to dine in anyway. As we entered the host didn't greet us with any courtesy. Then we sat down to see roaches running around and under out tables. We made our excuses and left. Please take some of the other people's experiences and pay attention to it. Not all bad reviews are vindictive and meant to sound horrible. It can save you from having a bad experience yourself.

I’ve been coming here for many years. I have NEVER had a bad experience. I prefer to get it to go and live over 30 miles away. It is well worth the trip. Panang curry with veggies is my go to, but the fried rice is delish, as is every appetizer on the menu. Every soup is also amazing, and I have a hard time deciding between them.

We come here often, both pick up and dine in. The food is good and quick to come out. The spring rolls and glass noodle soup are delicious. The gasmine tea is a favorite of mine as well. The supply station has kind of flowed over to the dining area, which makes it seem a little less of an authentic experience because that is the first thing you see..The younger guy seems to hate being there (it is almost comical). I will still continue to come here.

We ordered several items this evening and none of them were up to par. The panang curry taste like coconut soup with the same consistency. The meats were all dry and tough. Not sure how you get dry meats in watered down sauces but they figured out a way. The best part of the meal was the fact that it was hot and the plain white rice was great. Even the chicken wings weren’t right. Not crispy with a very watered down sauce. We truly were hoping for a hidden gem, but.

I have always enjoyed dining at Insee. I went with my Dad Tuesday, May 2, 2023 for lunch. The food was ok. He got Gen. Tso's. The chicken was tough. I got the Panang curry. It was not as good as previous visits. There was absolutely no hospitality. I felt we were an intrusion. We were not greeted. There were no smiles and as we left Noone spoke. I won't be back and I can no longer recommend.

How this place has 4.4 Stars is mine blowing. I ordered the Orange Chicken and Generals Chicken. This rice comes separately in small containers. I didn’t even eat it because it smelled weird. I’m 97.3% sure that the chicken came out of a frozen bag of cooked chicken. The portion size is small compared to the price. They both had very little sauce on the meat. The chicken inside the breading was dry. The food is mediocre at best. I literally hate leaving a bad review but this was not good.

The dinner portion is the size of a lunch portion. The flavor is ok. No napkins nor utensils for my take out. Overall I don’t want to come back.

Walked in with my service dog and was going to be sat in one area. Then they asked me to move in a secluded section because they didn't want my dog to scare anyone (mind you, no one was in the place at all). Was told that the restaurant decides where the dog sits. I don't mind educating people on service animals, but attitude and ignorance is no excuse. I tried to educate, but was told in his 42 years that he's never had a dog and didn't know the law. Will NEVER go back.

Food is always good, service is prompt and friendly, and it's wheelchair accessible! We've been regular customers for over a decade, tried other Thai restaurants nearby but this one is consistently great.

The HOH seemed bothered by me entering the establishment. I looked past this & proceeded to inform him that it was my first time visiting. He didn't seem to care. I proceeded to ask him could I modify my rice to suit my taste. He looked extremely perplexed & stated something that didn't make any sense. After asking him to please repeat what he said, he did & I just told him never mind. I left, went down the road to a different Thai restaurant where I received exactly what I asked for along with great service :) Side note...If you don't like your job, change career paths. Also, it's a great idea to actually provide good customer service when you're in "customer service."

I ordered two chicken curry dinners, calamari and a kids chicken tenders dinner. When I got home and unpacked the food I was missing the rice that came with the curry dinners, the plum sauce that came with the calamari and one chicken tender. Besides missing food the overall portions were SMALL and the food is mediocre at best -- the curry was soooo watered down. I am really disappointed with the meal. I will not be back.

Well, we heard about this place, so once again tried a new place.
The food was good, but...

A word of advice, if you order something spicy, they have options as to the level of spiciness you want, indicated with pictographs on the menu, AND "you must tell them the level of spiciness you want". If you don't, it will always be the lowest level, MILD. Made the mistake of not indicating this on a menu item, and it was not the spiciness that my wife wanted!

The portions were small, considering the price... Somewhat disappointing.

Overall, a mediocre experience. I'm sure the cost of food now is a consideration for the small portions, but then the price should be reflective of that, but that's my opinion

Tried a special which was delicious wrapped in banana leaves. Also coconut soup and larb. Very good. Excellent service.

Everything was great. Wasn't spicy as I requested but it was good. The young man answering the phone and at the register is not customer friendly. Very monotone voice didn't even answer the phone with, "Hi this is Insee" I thought I dialed the wrong number. It's definitely an age thing cause the young girl the same. Older woman comes out perky and was able to get some of their dried chili spice that the young said they didn't have.

All in all... No longer driving to the city for Thai. The food out weighs the young children not wanting to work on a Friday night 😂 😂

Saw this online. Gave it a try.
Clean, prompt regardless of what we look like. Nice decor. Polite informed wait staff (I have multiple allergies).
Some foods have MSG. She knew exactly what I could or couldn’t order.
Beautiful presentation on plate. Brought out as each dish was ready. The cream cheese with crab rolls were perfect. Shrimp rolls had tail sticking out the end but had more shrimp inside also delicious! Chicken sate (satay) was thin, tender and grilled sauce on side. Highly recommend this family restaurant.

The food is so delicious!! Had the Coconut soup, was good. The Masamem Pork Curry (hot) was fantastic, hot was just the right amount of heat. And the Mango Sticky was outstanding. Will def come back when I’m in town.

Flavorless, Undercooked Vegetables, Oily mess, asked for Thai fried rice and was very specific unsure what this is, maybe chinese fried rice? Lady was busy but overall service friendliness nonexistant. Rushed my order, to then never to come back but for the check, even the spring rolls were cold and soggy.

I had the Pad Ped and it was delicious. My wife had the Tofu Yellow Curry and she said her meal was delicious as well.

This place is my daily lunch venue weekly when I am in Stockbridge. The amazing family owned restaurant gives you that at home feeling. The food is always great and the friendly service keeps bringing me back for me.
