Was expecting more after reviews. Small restaurant, many take-out orders.
My PatThai wasn’t the best (I’m a huge fan of Thai food).
Seafood was not good. Even couldn’t eat all-no taste. Had to take extra spicy sauce to have some taste.
In restroom dish soap instead of hand soap.
I ordered pork fried rice and once I brought it home and opened it up it had chicken and tomatoes. Not what I asked for . 🤦🏻♀️
They get you good when they wrap it all up ready to get paid for and then there’s a totally different surprise when you open it at home too late to be returned. I had to feed it to my dog instead.Didn’t look appetizing at all, very bland and a waste of money for the small amount that they serve you. I thought these bad reviews would help this business become better. They make no effort.
Old school local place that you go for to have a great meal. Not bougie and showy. Food has been consistent for over 10 years. Order. And have your comfort Thai from this place and this place always.
I love this little Thai restaurant. It’s such a gem. It’s probably one of the best Thai places I’ve had and I’m coming from Queens! Every time I’m in the area I have to stop by. I’m obsessed with their pad kaprow! The owner is so sweet too and the staff is always attentive. I think it’s family owned, cooking up some really authentic Thai food.
I was recommended this place for my first time trying Thai food. I had the Vegetable Pad Thai, and it was amazing, truly expanded my taste palette and really set the bar for me. I tried a different Thai spot not long after (out of state lol) and it was not as good as this one. Thankful to my friend in GC for the recommendation!
i love their drunken noodles!! curry puffs, veggie dumplings.Everything i’ve orders has been good except Don’t get the mussels… they were like rubber and still they charged me even when i sent them back. Not easy to find parking in front.
I ordered an order of Pad See Ew with chicken for lunch the other day. The taste was fantastic the noodle were perfect and the shredded chicken was delicious. The broccoli on the other hand was problematic. The broccoli was definitely undercooked almost raw, as if they were blanched ever so briefly. I also feel the portion size could have been a little better for $14 considering it’s just noodle, chicken and raw broccoli.
Genuinely the best Thai I’ve found on Long Island. Friendly and quick service.
Small place great food!

Great Thai food at reasonable price. Authentic and fresh. Delicious flavors. 😋
Super friendly staff and super delicious foods at reasonable prices.
Very rude customer service!!!!
Extremely kind workers, amazing fresh and flavorful food, and group friendly portions for dining in.
Always consistent..quaint surroundings , savory dishes.

So good and the people working there are so nice... It feels like home ❤️

"A Thai Hidden Jewel in the North Shore".
Don't underestimate this unpretentious humble joint, food is flavorful and fresh.
A fan of them, even during covid, we never stopped ordering here. I'm GLAD they survived... while other bigger mainstream restaurants in the area didn't make it, sadly.
i love their drunken noodles!! curry puffs, veggie dumplings.Everything i’ve orders has been good except Don’t get the mussels… they were like rubber and still they charged me even when i sent them back. Not easy to find parking in front.
Very friendly on the phone. I asked for his favorite dish and I got it: basil curry medium spicy. It was excellent. Definitely a real medium spicy!
Look , Thai food is very expensive, up there with Jamaican food. So this place is more affordable and I really don't care about opulence all the time. It's really family styld and a place to frequent often so I will definitely be coming back and might even make it my regular Thai spot since my wife and I love their food... Yes!
Tried for the first time last night and will be back. We had the drunken noodles and Massaman curry. They were both great and hit all the right flavors. I also think the prices are very reasonable for this area. Can’t wait to try more dishes.
The food and service were excellent. I would definitely recommend this to all thai cuisine lovers.
Authentic place with amazing food, every dish we orders was tasty and fresh. Will definitely come back
I had the red curry tofu for lunch and it was fantastic. Everyone’s food was delicious :)
Can I get a chicken pad Thai? I throughly enjoy coming to this quaint restaurant for some quick Thai food. Kimmy and Tom are always friendly and are willing to recommend new dishes to try. The food is consistently good and their lunch special is always a good addition to spending less on a meal.
The food is consistently excellent. The staff couldn't be nicer.
We generally get take out. We eat there occasionally. It's a small room but pleasant diniung room.
Got take out. Was not dissappointed
Today was the first time I ordered from here. The Thai wanton soup was amazing filled with wantons 😋 and their steamed vegetables were wonderful. The man that assisted me was extremely nice and hospitable. And all at a decent price. I have truly been converted... No more Chinese take out for me. Definitely will recommend to anyone who enjoys fresh, healthy made food. 😋🥰😋🥰😋🥰
This place TRIES really hard. The staff is WONDERFUL. I honestly have to say that Sopah literally STINKS. The minute you enter the foyer you smell something HORRIBLE. Thers's no way you can't smell it. Then when you enter the restaurant the smell changes to fryer oil, fishy smells & dirty carpet. I've worked in restaurants for 20 years and I know what I smell. They need to clean this place top to bottom. Order out.
Food was hot and fresh 🥵😍 Will Come Back
Small place with amazing food ... They never disappoint.... Great portion size... Always great with following special instructions.... Fast service and Warm interaction with customers.. Must try the drunken noodles..
Stopped by to pick up lunch specials to-go for my friends and me. Lunch special is great and filling for the price. Everyone working there was super nice! Ordered drunken noodles and pad see ew, which all were flavorful and not too salty. Also ordered Thai coffees, which were individually wrapped in bags to help prevent spills (really appreciated this). Overall, I would definitely recommend here!
My favorite restaurant of all time, bar none. My (now best) friend and I both moved to Long Island for college, and decided to drive around one day looking for some cheaper local eats. We stumbled across this place, and our minds were blown! We got the lunch special: I ordered the drunken noodles, and she ordered the drunken fried rice- immediately we were hooked. The restaurant is clean, the servers are incredibly kind, the food is brought out very quickly, and tastes delectable, fresh, and homemade. I gained my freshman 15 by going here weekly, but I wouldn't change it for the world! I couldn't recommend this place more, and I will continue being a regular :)
Ordered on Door Dash on a whim. Wildly exceeded expectations. Best local Thai I have had in a long time.
Lunch was delicious 😋. We had Pad Thai w Shrimp & Drunken Pad Thai w Chicken. Very tasty. The restaurant is simple. Pleasant staff. We will be back.
Best Thai food!!
So happy to see it survived the lockdown and even happier to be able to once again DINE IN this super cozy, friendly and delicious restaurant! Recommended it to many friends and everyone has agreed with me!!!!
Good Food
On our way home from Whitestone, we wanted Thai food. Sopah Thai Kitchen came up on our Google search. After reading the reviews on this and other Thai restaurants in the area, we decided to go here. All the excellent reviews were true to form! The restaurant is nestled in a semi-bustling area of Glen Cove. The restaurant is very clean and simply adorned. The server was very cordial and attentive. We ordered the vegetable dumpling and the duck roll. Both were absolutely delicious! For our meal, my husband ordered the pork basil hot pepper and I ordered the chicken with cashew nuts (mild). Both meals were beyond delicious and we can't wait to return!!!
I’m new to this town and I got my first bonnet from this place. Good food and friendly service.
Everything was super yummy (red curry, green curry, wonton soup, crispy spring roll), good pricing, quaint, beautiful, friendly prompt service. Our new favorite place to eat.
Excellent food and very generous portions. The appetizers are delicious from the crispy spring roll and veggie dumplings to satay. Sticky rice was perfect. Pad se eu was delicately sauced with crisp vegetables. Green beans with cashews really good.
Food is amazing ! It’s been a while since we ordered from Sopah Thai and its still as great as always . We ordered the pineapple fried rice , chicken cashew and drunken noodles . Delicious! 5 stars !
Little gem in town. My go to for Thai
Great drunken noodles
Consistently good.
Really great Thai food
Did take out, enjoyed the meal, plenty of food. Try Thai Food!
My go to Thai spot!
We ordered drunken noodles, pad thai and basil pepper string beans. My husband didn't like drunken noodles, it was so different than in other Thai restaurants. Entte basil papper string beans, at first I thought it was a soup, was filled with liquid ❓and taste off. Both ordered mild spicy, but was not spicy at all!
Pad Thai was so greasy!!
We will not ordering from here anymore!
Good food small place
Our favorite Thai restaurant ❤️
Best thai food in glen cove.
Clean, organized, cozy, friendly, interesting menu, reasonable prices
Food is fantastic the owners are special and price is very reasonable. Bring your own adult beverage.
This is the worst restaurant ever, this is the second time they messed up my order!!! They NEVER REFUND ME MY MONEY, and ASK for the food to be return and charged me ADDITIONAL FOR THE CORRECTED FOOD.
Excellent!
No frills. Lovely staff serves authentic noodle dishes, whole fish and other typical Americanized Thai recipes. No wine, beer or liquor but a welcome BYOB policy.
The service was horrible and staff was extremely rude. We requested them to make food mild and no eggs because of my son’s allergies. They brought food which had eggs and was very spicy. When we asked them to change, the owner said he cannot do anything about that. They were very loud and rude. We will never go back to this place. I wish I can give them zero star.
This was my second time at this place. The first time the experience was great. This time (considering they knew me) I was expecting a similar service, if not better. The food quantity was way too less than compared to last time. I let the server know about my experience. There was no response back from the server or a word from the manager after. Then I had to ask again for an update right before I was leaving, on which I got a cold shoulder from the server and a not need attitude in his tone. The food was ok but experience wasn’t.
Great thai options at a great price, would recommend the dumpling appetizer
Great Thai food from a family run business. Pickup is ready quickly and the quality of the food is top notch. Staff is very friendly as well. I never ate there but it is a small cozy spot where BYOB is allowed I believe. Definitely recommend for genuine Thai (make a great spicy dish too)
Great Thai Food here!
God bless these folks for the delicious food. The whole Fish with minced chicken was amazing and so was the Fried Rice with mixed seafood.
Great tasting food.
Walked in and walked out for lunch. Read the great reviews. But, when I arrived to dine in and try the food, there was a ghastly smell, it seemed to be emitting from the kitchen. Horrible, horrible smell.
Good Thai food in town.
I ordered drunken noodles, with my own personal twist, and they nailed it!!
Delicious!!
Nice small thai restaurant
Good
Amazing food and amazing service, highly recommend.
Great food.
Yum!
Delicious!
words cannot describe the taste, really wonderful
Excellent food,good prices, great service
Trust me it's an acquired taste
Great little Thai restaurant with friendly service. I tried the drunken fried rice with beef that everyone recommends and it was pretty good. The lunch special is a good deal since it comes with a small spring roll and a soup as well. The Thai iced tea was super sweet which I love but others might not like.
Always a treat to eat here. Dine in or take out the food is amazing.
Food is consistently good and they're very hospitable. They forgot one of my appetizer's in my pick up order and threw in a free spring roll appetizer to make up for it.
Great Thai food, great value too!
Good food, was not hot enough (temp), process good, very casual atmosphere.
Teeny place, BYOB. The food is really excellent, maybe the best Thai food on Long Island
Great place, people, food and ambience love it 😍😍😍
First time going and was amazed by their Thai Chicken would recommend.
We really enjoyed the food here espically our vegan freind. The noddles were a little spice but delcious. Sometimes you have to take the risk of eating very spicy food to enjoy the deliciousness but the next day a pain in the stomach. I will defiantly come back
Calamari was excellent and the shrimp coconut curry was incredible.
Excellent food; friendly service; small and intimate place for a relaxed evening.
Pretty good food small portions however
Thai coffee is great
Food was very good.
Really great thai food that delivers to Sea Cliff. The staff are super nice, always friendly and very pleasant. I pick up/order from here frequently and they always get my order right, the food is always delicious and hot, and the prices are appropriate for the portion size. The green curry with tofu is the bomb!
Food is Awesome. My Thai friend would like it.
Amazing food and super fast delivery!! Pad thai 11/10! No utensils tho gg
Just ok.
Lo e it
The Sopah fried rice is amazing and the staff is great
Great little nook for authentic and perfectly spiced Thai classics at reasonable prices.
One of best Thai places in LI + NYC
Curry Puffs "to die for"!
Decent lunch specials. A coworker and me got the chicken pad see ew $8 which came with a tiny pinky sized fried spring roll and opted for the cup of peanut sauced salad instead of the wonton soup. The chicken pad see ew was good and the portion was decent. However I would like to mention that another coworker ordered an over rice dish and the portion was pretty small in comparison to our noodles.
The fried spring roll I felt was just a throw in and salad was surprisingly good with the peanut dressing.
Service was friendly and fast, we came in, ordered and waited ten minutes for our food to come out.
Service is so cute and sweet. The satay, curry puffs, tom kha gai, pad thai, and massaman curry were all delicious. Dont live around here but when i come through sea cliff i will definitely be coming here again!
So delicious. Love the spicy shrimp salad and the drunken noodles.
All veggies are always so fresh and crisp. The flavors are bold, is genuine thai cuisine. The thai iced tea is addicting!!
Everyone at my job raves about this place, and with good reason
Awesome food
Best Thai place both in NY and also jersey. Can't find a better place
The best Thai food ever
Great food and great people. Highly recommend!
The drunken noodles are the best! Love their Thai iced tea as well! really nice place, love eating there!
Tastes good and well priced. Careful: most food is spicy
One of the best Thai restaurants I've been to
The Best Pad Thai...Laid back atmosphere ..Excellent Service
And they deliver!!!
EXCELLENT:
I have moved from Locust Valley to Horth Hills. It did not stop me to go back to Glen Cove and buy my favorite Tom Yam Noodles Soup.
I know, I have to drive 25 minutes one way and 25 minutes back. But if I would like to enjoy my meal, I will do it.
The kitchen is excellent. Restaurant is VERY CLEAN. Food is AMAZING.
Over all Long Island, this menu is my favorite!
Thank you Paul and other members of Sapah for your excellent job!
Sincerely,
Irina
The drunken noodles and crab fried rice are super delicious at Sopah! I live quite a distance from Sopah but will make the trip because I have not found Thai food as wonderful as Sopah's on Long Island! Yum!
