Even the locals can not contain their excitement for this amazing restaurant. yelling to us that this place is amazing as we pull up and park and I have to say I definitely agree with them. They were BUSY and clearly understaffed but somehow one waitress was able to keep up with every table and do it very well. I got the mango juice,mango curry and mango sticky rice for dessert. The mango juice and the mango curry was very delicious it ended up being so flavorful. I was worried about the spiciness of it but it actually was the perfect amount of heat! I can’t wait to eat my leftovers. The mango sticky rice was not what I expected but it was still pretty good and I’m glad that I tried it. If you have the opportunity to eat at this place do it! You won’t be disappointed

Came in today in 19 degree cold! Had the most amazing Tom kha soup filled with flavor- amazing sushi rolls! High quality and delicious. Everyone was super friendly!!

Almost all of the food at this restaurant is delicious. I tried the Somtam and Yam Mamuang. They were very delicious and spicy. The Thai ice tea was not too sweet and well-balanced. I liked it very much. Then I tried the Soup. It was very tasty. I would like you to try this restaurant. Please give it a Like.

Did they run a "free food for 5-star rating" special? Because any decent foodie should not be fooled by this high rating. Beware - from the watery and flavorless Thai iced tea to the bland tom yum soup to the overly sweet and gelatinous rad lah noodle special, this is one of the worst meals I've had in a while. I don't like to leave low reviews and they're nice enough people, but I feel compelled to warn folks - don't expect anything even remotely authentic.

Pad Kra Pao Gai (Thai Holy Basil Chicken with Fried Egg).

The moment the dish arrived at my table, the aromatic symphony of holy basil and garlic transported me straight to the bustling streets of Bangkok. The presentation was classically Thai – a generous portion of stir-fried minced chicken with holy basil served alongside perfectly cooked jasmine rice, crowned with a beautifully crispy fried egg, its golden yolk promising to add an extra layer of richness to each bite. Wow so good.

They have two locations, the Hanover location was a great first time experience with Thai cuisine. I have eaten all around the world, and this is up there with one of the best Mom and Pops restaurants I’ve tried. Great atmosphere, great service, and even better food. I highly recommend trying this restaurant if you’re in the area!

I would like to begin by saying that I don’t know why we haven’t posted a review sooner. This is our favorite restaurant! We have been to Tuk Tuk in Hanover and we have loved it every time. But, Tuk Tuk Sushi delivers it all, Sushi, Thai and hospitality all wrapped up in one. We own a very successful restaurant for over 10 years in Woodstock, Vermont and we know how much work goes into making a restaurant great. The consistency is the key. Tuk Tuk Sushi delivers consistency in the quality of their food, the quality of their dishes, and the quality of the smiles on all of their faces every time. We can even see the warm and inviting smile on the tiny lady who always wears a face mask through her eyes and through her gestures. Our server/hostess makes us feel so welcome. She makes us feel so special and she is so special. Because of all of them we want to go there over and over again, and we do. The Sushi is creative, thoughtful and the presentation is artistically beautiful. We have been going there since they opened. I have been craving Larb and because it is not on their menu we had to try other Thai Restaurants in the area. But guess what, once we came and I asked if Chef could make Larb. To my surprise, without advance notice and without any hesitation, they made it for me. And it is the best Larb in this area! We will continue to go back, and back, and back again and bring more of our friends. Thank you! We wish that one day we will be lucky enough to meet the owner “Tuk Tuk” to tell her face to face how wonderful both of her restaurants are.

My first time coming here with my family, it felt really weird at first but then we felt kinda cuzzy and comfy. We ordered Hosomaki, Angle Hair Roll and salmon avocado roll, But I made a mistake! I had other more Tuk Tuk rolls because it was the best one we ordered!!! I recommend that so bad ! My family loved it !

This place WAS so good! Just got it this evening- not only have the prices increased and portions decreased significantly since a month ago- but the taste and quality are completely off. So disappointing.

Edit- in response to the owner- to help you understand my review- I will be more clear.
Again, this place WAS amazing. So I imagine that’s why previously you had so many good reviews. However, unless the other night was a complete fluke- the following is now true.
The sushi rice was very overcooked and had a large amount of sugar added to it. The fish was not fresh- nor were the cuts what one would consider appropriate sushi grade. we had to throw it out after one bite. The Wakame previously had ginger etc. with it- and was much larger- now just a ladle of salad. The pad Thai was loaded with chilies even though we requested none/ no spice at all (I have an allergy). And the chicken in it was rubbery. Off nights happen- but this was clearly a change to the quality of items/ cutting corners and an increase in pricing. Very disappointing you had such a wonderful restaurant.

Garlic pepper beef (medium) was really great. It was fresh and tasty. The curry was really good too. The coconut ice cream was wonderful.

New sushi chef from Hawaii is a little slow, but only because he's careful and makes delicious sushi. Worth it for sure!

This is truly the best Thai in the area, and had been avoiding it for too long. Don't do what I did: go visit as soon as possible! Try their restaurant specialties, too. We tried the Thai vegetable dumplings, the scallion pancakes (with curry dipping sauce), chicken satay, papaya salad with a mild flavor, and crispy chicken fried rice. There are too few ACTUALLY good restaurants in the Upper Valley. Go support them!

The food is totally 5 star here. But my experience was not great. Our waitress rushed us and was not at all friendly. We had cancelled thai basil fried rice but then they still got it to our table. When we mentioned it, they took it back. But that’s not why i am giving 3 stars here.

We forgot my baby’s bottle of water back at this place. I went back for it and asked my waitress. She was unwilling to help. She clearly remembered what i was asking about but the only thing she did was took my number on a piece of paper and said we will call you when we find it. I mean, come on. Clearly she wasn’t going to call me. I still waited outside to talk to someone else. I spoke to one guy and he immediately said “oh yea i know that bottle. Give me 2 mins”. He went back and got the bottle. I don’t know the waitresses name but girl, you gotto learn how to do your job.

We had a party of 15 and the food and service were great.

We now have compete in the area on Thai food which is making them all better. This is a branch of the Tuk Tuk in Hanover and I think it is better. The atmosphere is better. We had fresh excellent food and then got a dish to go for the kid at home. We did not try the sushi. We got the vegetable dumplings which we love. We then got ginger crispy duck (excellent), crispy chicken pad Thai, and a green curry. We needed extra rice to finish sopping up the sauces. We also had 2 desserts and both were great, black sticky rice with mango and coconut sorbet.

This was my second meal at this location and the food and service was excellent, as it was the first time. Seated and received food quickly even though it was a busy Friday night. However, this review isn’t about the food for me, it’s about the staff. There was a man at the bar who had maybe drank too much or was under the influence of another substance, I’m not sure, but he went to leave and a man from the kitchen area went with him to take him home. You could tell that the staff member didn’t know this guy, he was just trying to help. The team went above and beyond to make the other diners feel comfortable (it was a very non-threatening situation, by the way). To be in the presence of that kind of kindness from a staff member, who just wanted to get someone home safely, made my heart swell. So good for you guys, TukTuk Thai, for having an amazing staff that goes the extra mile for their patrons. 10/10 recommend.

It's small but quaint the food was very good

Forgot to take pictures but the food was excellent. I had the red curried duck with vegetables. Curry sauce was excellent duck cooked just right and lots of fresh local vegetables. Will be going again when I am in town.

Great little restaurant I found while visiting. The whole meal took less than 30 minutes from being seated to getting the check (went around 14:00/2 pm) so it wasn’t busy.

The menu has a lot of great options from tradition Thai cuisine to sushi.

I ordered the Chicken Pad Thai, Crab Cream Puff, Thai Iced Tea, and Tuna roll. My friend got the Thai Spring rolls.

All the food was made quickly and came out to be a high quality. I enjoyed everything that the restaurant had to offer.

There is parking in the lot or nearby on the street (2-hr max).

The only complaint I had is there were a few flies around the restaurant that made it a little annoying to eat.

Overall, I would highly recommend this restaurant!!

I have tried thai food all over the US in California, Texas, Florida, North Carolina and etc... This has been by far the best thai food I have ever tried. Taste, texture, smells, everything was absolutely delicious.

I get takeout here at least three to four times a month, and every time the food has been amazing. I always get mango curry with shrimp- I highly recommend if you like the sweet-spicy combo. My partner got sushi and fried rice, which was equally as amazing. Today I ate in for the first time and it was extremely clean. Plating was simple and well-executed. The dining room was small and well maintained. The staff was kind and quick even with all the takeout orders coming through. Anytime someone asks about where to eat I tell them about this place. 100% recommend!

We've been trying to find a good sushi restaurant near us in NH and Tuk Tuk had been recommended to us. It's a small, cozy place with some regular and some high top tables. A large bar takes up a good portion of the restaurant. The sushi we sampled was good, but nothing extraordinary. The servers and staff were friendly and attentive. We ordered tea and got an adorable elephant tea pot and two extra tiny tea cups.

Stopped by for lunch after a little shopping for some Sushi. Staff was very friendly. We got 3 rolls of varying tuna and all were good. A little more finesse could be used for presentation but otherwise very good. They are set up with a nice bar and plenty of parking.

Can't wait til they get their "sea legs." $4 for a cup of hot water and a teabag? Small portions for the price, but I'm okay with that for high quality. Overcooked chicken breast in the mango curry made it tough and dry, but amount of chicken in the small bowl was generous, and the curry sauce was delicious. The spicy yellowtail roll had "non-traditional" thicker slices of cucumber than the finely-sliced strips that I'm used to seeing in hand rolls, but it made for a crunchier, fresher-tasting experience.

We drove a good 45 minutes to come try. It was so worth it. We will definitely be back for more.

Went in last week and the Manager Ahn was and is exceptional. Was very friendly, explained all the options to me once I told him I had never eaten Thai Food, he recommended roasted duck with spicy basil and I am so glad he did, because the flavor explosion was astounding. Tonight I decided to come back and sad to say Ahn wasn't in, hopes to have another recommendation, so I left and went for pizza, I will return when Ahn is back in to make more recommendations. This time I brought my friend and his wife. I hope to bring them again and try the exceptional food. Thanks Ahn for allowing me to step out of my comfort zone and trying something new.

The sushi is great here and the friendly staff gave the place a small-town feel. They make tasty deep-fried sushi and were happy to take orders the whole time we were sitting at the bar.

I give this place a 5 for food (it was DELICIOUS!!!) and a 1 for service….so I average it out to a 3. Like I said, the food was incredible!! But the service. We arrived late into town. So we looked online to figure out where to eat. We wanted somewhere that had later hours. We found this restaurant and chose it because it said they were open until 9:30. We arrived at 8:50. They were acting annoyed and like they couldn’t take us in, but then said their kitchen was closing and we’d need to hurry and order. We ordered all of our food within 5 minutes….a starter soup, 2 entrees, and a dessert. The food came out fairly quick. First the two entrees and like 10 mins later the soup. I hate getting my starter at the same time or later than the entrees. 😕 But we started eating and were feeling fairly rushed by how we were being served. At like 9:10, we were the only remaining customers at the restaurant. They started cleaning up around us. And at 9:20, they flipped on the BRIGHT FLORESCENT lights….like to make sure we knew that it was TIME TO LEAVE. SO RUDE!!! Here’s my thing. If you want you and your staff to be cleaned up and out the door by 9:30, then DON’T PUT YOUR CLOSING TIME AS 9:30….put it as 8:30!!!! Or whatever time you feel you can take your last customer and serve them and get cleaned up and out of there by whenever you want to leave by! Don’t make me, as the customer, guess as to when you’ll take your last customer based on what your closing time is!! The closing time that is posted should be the last time when you’ll take an incoming customer!! And especially as a new restaurant in town (as this restaurant is!), you’d think they’d have been a little more accommodating instead of making us feel like we were inconveniencing them….which we did feel that way. Again though….the food was excellent!

So good and great service

We had a great time at Tuk Tuk tonight. Ahn, the manager, made sure we had everything we needed, despite a busy and apparently hectic night. The food was excellent, and the drinks were good. Ahn made the difference between a chaotic night and a busy one. We’ll definitely be back.

Had a great time sitting at the sushi bar at Tuk Tuk! I’m up visiting family and had to go after hearing how good it was!
Even though their head sushi chef left unexpectedly, leaving the staff a little unprepared, we were treated well and with delicious food!
We had to wait a bit in between sushi rolls being served, but we had a great time. Especially chatting with the manager Ahn, he’s friendly, efficient, and awesome! Ahn alway checked on everyone even though the restaurant was understaffed, and still had time to chat and joke with us. He made sure we were taken care of, and treated us to a free cocktail!
Will definitely come back next time we’re in the area!
