Thai Restaurant
The food here is very good and flavorful. The service was friendly and helpful. Prices are reasonable though on the higher end. Dine-in and take-out are available. Cash and credit are both accepted. The food is delicious, and very delicious cocktails at $12 a piece, I recommend the Pink Lady cocktail. The dining area is great for small groups or to dine alone. I highly recommend the Drunken Noodles and for drinks, the Mr. Ginger, which is a mocktail, a very delicious choice. For 01/2025
I never really give a 5 star rating all across. But everything here was amazing. Me and my fiancé came here Tuesday night. It was quiet. Our waitress was amazing she was attentive, respectful and courteous! Our food was amazing. The crunchy dumplings were great and the drunken noodles were just top tier I loved it! She would come over and refill our water without having to ask! Customer service was just over the top here which lately hasn't been good in other places. Nowadays you go to a restaurant and it's like you're a burden. Not here! So happy and helpful. Loved it! Highly recommend! Will be coming back!
I finally got the chance to try Niyom Thai Kitchen near Bayside, and it definitely lived up to the hype! The food is delicious, and the drinks are super refreshing. Highly recommend the Niyom Combo and Niyom Soup—both were full of flavor and perfect for starting the meal. The Papaya Salad was fresh and tangy too. For mains, the Fried Soft Shell Crab was crispy and tender, and the Clam with Basil Sauce was so tasty, it reminded me of home-cooked meals. Ended on a sweet note with Mango Sticky Rice, which was perfectly creamy and refreshing. Drinks like Lychee Lemonade and Thai Iced Tea also hit the spot. Great experience overall!
We ordered the Tom yum soup got Niyom Tom yum, anyway it was good too but not the original…The green curry with steam tofu definitely 5 stars. Pad thai was also delicious but veggie wasn’t cooked enough.I shared with my son. He ordered wings (he love it) Food arrived fast.Place very simple and clean.
Niyom Thai is a true hidden gem in North Flushing. The service is warm and welcoming, and the atmosphere is clean and inviting. I’ve had the chance to try some classic dishes like Pad Thai, Massaman Curry, and my personal favorite—the Tom Yum Soup. All were excellent.
However, the real standout for me was the Drunken Noodles, cooked to perfection. And whatever you do, don't sleep on the dessert! Their Mango Sticky Rice is something special. Instead of the usual presentation, they use an extract from a Thai purple flower that adds a unique color and a subtle, floral note to the dish—absolutely delicious.
Having been to Thailand multiple times, I can confidently say this is some of the most authentic Thai food I’ve had outside of the country. Another must-try is their peanut dumplings, where they use that same purple flower to create vibrant, picturesque dumpling skins. It’s a small twist that makes a big impression.
My dad’s favorite was the Thai Fried Rice with duck, which he couldn’t stop raving about. He also loved the Thai iced tea, saying it had a bold, strong tea flavor that stood out compared to others he's tried.
Lastly, their lunch specials are available all seven days of the week, which is rare. Most places limit them to weekdays, so this is a huge bonus! I’ll definitely be coming back.
Excellent service and food.
This place is a hidden gem! Their food is great! I’ve had it serval times now as take out and have eaten in once. The service was great the place isn’t very exciting inside but it’s clean and cute. The food is excellent!
The food was really good, very friendly service and authentic Thai food
Wonderful Thai Iced Tea and Thai Basil Beef 10/10
We love this lmace

The place have a good ambience
The food was very good. We ordered 3 lunch specials: Pad Thai, Drunken Noodle, and the Thai Basil Chicken. The drunken noodle was particularly good because the flat noodle was very fresh and had a good texture. The Pad Thai was also very good and fresh. The Thai Basil was lightly flavored and tasted excellent. The food was so good that we cleaned every plate.
The food is delicious must come and try their veggie dumplings. They even have lunch specials on Saturdays great quality and price.
The service was amazing! The waiters were very attentive and the food was great :)
One of the best thai food i’ve ever tried! Flavorful and yummy!!
I love it! I got the pad see ew and is very cheap!
The foods are too salty and sweet.
Good food and service.
Great first time experience with Thai cuisine.
Recommend this place
The appetizers and main courses were all well-portioned and had lots of flavor!! Will be revisiting.
Very good experience at Niyom. Staff is very nice and attentive and the food is super delicious. Especially their lunch special that comes with a salad, appetizer and an entree. Their fried ice cream is also very good. Very ideal to come to for any occasion.
Great food and service
Amazing food and service very friendly staff .
I love a good tum yum soup and papaya salad, so i got some for takeout to try. It was disappointing... Tum Yum soup was just sour and salty, I couldn't taste anything else. I had to add water to dilute it..this is the first time I ever had to do that for a tum yum soup. The same could be said for the salad, and the salad portion is pitiful for the price.
very very very very good
Very Kind, Comfortable Space
Good food. Decent prices. Fast service. Friendly staff. Can’t go wrong coming here!
Visiting from CA and found this spot on Instagram! Vibes are so good, music is good, furniture is nice and clean. The service was amazing as well. We got the pad see ew, mango sticky rice, wonton soup, the peanut dumplings, and enjoyed every single thing!
5 stars! Everything was delicious, vibes was good
Great thai place. Excellent pork belly. Lunch specials are great! Good portions. Highly recommended.
Great food and service. Lunch special was perfect. And drinks were super delicious!
I ordered lunch and dinner at this amazing Thai restaurant! 🍽 #thaifood
Been eating at this establishment since it opened. The food is really good and I can't wait to come back.
A cute Thai restaurant with nice service and excellent food. Nice ambiance with music and nice decor.
Crispy duck over rice was great! One of my favorite Thai spots in queens!
I had a great dining experience at Niyom Thai Kitchen! I would recommend their crabmeat fried rice.
Great food and service
I recommend coming here! The waiter was super welcoming and helpful. And the food was delicious!
“Niyom Thai is a hidden gem! Our server made the experience even better with fantastic recommendations on both food and drinks. The flavors were outstanding, and the ambiance was cozy, making it the perfect spot for a delicious and memorable meal. Highly recommend for anyone craving authentic Thai flavors in a warm setting!”

Great service and great food. Quality for dine in and takeout stays the same. Also recommend the thai iced tea!

Deliciously tasty & fresh food.. Every time!
Tasteless food.

Gotta be honest, ur calamari is dogshit. why it tastes mad dry and smell fishy? and the lava cake, lord have mercy. it’s so dry. never again
I placed a takeout order yesterday and was thoroughly disappointed. The Pad See Ew and Basil Fried Rice were completely bland, lacking the vibrant flavors I expected. The fried tofu in the green curry was extremely dry and difficult to chew. Additionally, the portion of mixed vegetables in the garlic sauce barely filled half of the container.
I've visited this restaurant a few times in the past and have enjoyed these same dishes, which is why I recommended it to my sister. Unfortunately, this time it was a letdown. It's disheartening to see a restaurant fail to maintain the consistency and quality of its food, and I can no longer support it under these circumstances.
All around excellent. I came for the lunch special and was surprised at how large the portion was. It was larger than I would’ve even expected for a dinner portion.
Having duck as an option for the pad thai was awesome, and it was juicy with a crispy skin. The pad thai itself wasn’t too sweet and had lots of egg which was nice.
My only complaint is I wish they mixed the salad with the dressing rather than topping it with the dressing. The plate it small and shallow so it’s difficult to mix on your own.
The servers here are friendly and the restaurant has a relaxing welcoming atmosphere. Will absolutely be back.
In our constant conquest for the perfect Thai dish, we recently got takeout from here.
Overall, it was worth the try. We started with the curry puffs, which were easily the best part of the meal. Excellent flavoring and crunch to the puffs. My only complaint was that there were only 3-could have been 4 for the price. We went with the crispy pork belly basil, which was nice. I think every Thai place can be judged off their version of Thai basil and chive pancakes (the latter we did not get here, but wish I had to try!), so in judging this spot it was a fine option. We also tried the boat noodles, as it seems so popular. I was nervous about the blood broth, but it's not like blood pudding or other blood dishes I've had, so that was a nice surprise. It was actually fairly sweet, which was interesting. Could have used a bit more crunch to it, however.
Spicewise was fine. I actually had some trouble picking what I wanted as their menu wasn't terribly unique, so you'd ultimately rely on some standard Thai dishes. Probably wouldn't need to try a second time for other options.
Food were good
Rude hostess
The food is so good, and they have a very nice lunch special as well.
Service is excellent and the staff is all so respectful and sweet. You can tell they truly enjoy their business and seeing customers happy.
Overall a wonderful experience. If you are looking for a cozy date spot this place should be on your list. The space is on the smaller size but the food makes up for it. The portion size is big enough to share with 2. The service is also another highlight. Overall would definitely recommend anyone to check out this place and try it for yourself.
The lunch special is so worth it, get the chive pancake.
So many wonderful flavors, so hot and fast
Must get lychee lemonade! Really refreshing after a hot summer day. Also, the food was beyond my imagination as it was amazing. Must come here if it’s your first time!
Placed an order today and received someone else’s order. Tried to call them to let them know and they ignored my calls and my voicemail. I also tried to contact them thru their website and still no response. I used to love this place but the last two times they screwed up my order and did nothing about it. They have definitely gone down hill.
Good food and environment
Delicious food and lovely ambience! I had a great experience here.
Nice place. Food was great and affordable.
Don't bring cake to there for BD. They will charged you $10 for it!! 1st time there and also last.
Outstanding food!
Ordered the drunken noodles and pad see ew. Both were tasted a good amount of savory and not too sweet. I got chicken and it was slightly overcooked but the noodles themselves were decent. Vegetables were cooked well. Costed like $18 for pad see ew. There was a good amount of food for each dish
Food at Niyom Thai Kitchen was alright and it’s more of a fusion Thai-Chinese taste. Ordered a few dishes and they were all hit & miss that it’s missing the strong Thai flavouring. Decor and atmosphere were great and definitely a photogenic spot for social media. Too bad I came here for the taste, instead of for social media. 😔
Everything is perfect as soon as you walk in. I love Drunken Noodles, Green Curry and Eggplant Basil.
The chicken satay and coconut rice are great appetizer/side items.
Niyom Thai always does a superb job!
Quiet, cozy, great food, attentive service, very reasonable. Easy parking
The food was alright, but compare to other Thai Restaurant this is pretty poor. Its our first time dining into this restaurant so we are a little confuse on the menu, so we will need the server to spend more time on us. Because of that situation the server became a little disrespect to us. She check on the other table on hows everything but not us when we are right next to them. And doesn't say good bye to us while saying to others. We felt like a outsider.
Update: Visited Niyom Thai again and thoroughly enjoyed my food and overall experience. Wanted to add that the restaurant does give an incentive to customers to rate highly on review platforms in exchange for free food. Despite that, I would still say that the food and service is very good. I never write positive reviews in exchange for free stuff.
We came here on a holiday weekend and the restaurant was packed, the staff seemed very apologetic about the wait but it was only 5 minutes haha. The food was really good and service was fast. I liked the selection of drinks, the mocktails we had were really delicious. I was also very happy that they were able to accommodate for my nut allergy. My dining partner also enjoyed the curry a lot. Overall, we had a great time and I highly recommend this spot for delicious Thai food. We can’t wait to come back to try more dishes and support a local business!
We passed by Niyom Thai many times and were impressed by the crowd so we decided to give it a visit last weekend. They serve various Thai cuisine from classic to specialty. We had a hard time making decisions but got proper recommendations from the passionate staff.
It’s impressively delicious with mild spiciness which was perfect for me, a foodie who can’t eat too spice. Our favorites were the appetizing wings, juicy pork belly and creamy curry noodles. The portion was overall sharable with reasonable price. I am also satisfied with their amazing mango sticky rice which was served warm and fresh.
Great selection of food, service and atmopshere! Lots of people eating here. 10/10 would recommend
