This is a place I keep getting invited to for group gatherings, and for good reason! This is a fairly small all you can eat Japanese restaurant but they have a ton of options. You order pretty much everything on a provided iPad and in a decently short time it is brought out. I personally recommend trying out their unique sushi rolls! My only complaint is the cramped parking lot but I usually find a space. A good place to eat!

In general food tastes great and presented really nicely. There are LOTs of options for AYCE however portions are HUGE. Either come with a group of people or order slowly. Also sushi rice /seaweed was stale and avocado was hard. 🤷‍♂️only got one roll though. Recommend "tuna lover' (appetizer). Hope they make portion sizes smaller so I can try more foods next time.

Update went to this place again knowing how to order..... the sushi sucks. Full of rice and little fish. I don’t even think it’s sushi rice.

They don’t deserve to be in business . Shut them down! They bring u wrong items and tell you it’s something else and then start talking loud and rude if you try and confront them causing all the customers to start talking aggressively to each other . Trouble making place . Would only go back bc I liked the food but the service is dirt poor. Only tolerated their abuse bc I was hungry and I like all I can eat . Really terrible place beware

Fast all you can eat at a good price

I would like to preface this by saying that I am not one to write reviews, especially negative reviews, on Google, Yelp, etc. but I just feel the need to share my thoughts about my sushi experience on Sunday 8/4.

The Sake Asia in Babylon, while the same owners, is a MUCH BETTER overall experience. The service, food and overall atmosphere and design of the place is vastly superior. I go to the Babylon one all the time and it's great, but I went to this one in Massapequa this time to meet up with some friends who live in Nassau to make the trip more equal.

First, when you walk in, the atmosphere is very poor. The dining room and the whole place in general looks extremely old and disgusting; not welcoming and some serious re-design needs to be done. It felt like I was in an old chinese food place in NYC. the

Starting dinner off, the Miso soup was flavorless; no salt or anything. I was basically just eating warm cloudy water with seaweed in it. I ordered the Kani salad as well which was not mixed and again had minimal flavor with Kewpie mayo thrown on top.

The part that really got to me was I ordered 4 pieces of sushi with the apps before my rolls. 2 snapper, 2 striped bass. They did not come with the apps, so I ordered it again. 2 out of the 4 pieces came towards the end of dinner, and when I mentioned I got 4 pieces, the server said something along the lines of "yeah its coming" and when I asked again to make sure he said yes. The final 2 pieces NEVER CAME.

The specialty rolls we ordered were wrong. They gave us 2 of the same roll when we only ordered 1 and they didnt even bring us some rolls that we ordered. At that point I didnt even try to order them again I was just overall done with eating there.

On a positive note, the sushi rolls still tasted good and were prepared well, just like their place in Babylon. I have no complaints on the quality of the sushi itself.

I will continue to eat at exclusively the Babylon one from now on, stay away from this one in Massapequa.

Ordered delivery, Kani salad wasn’t even mixed just Hellmans mayo plopped on top, tuna had yellow hue, salmon looked neon orange dyed, white fish was brown and watery, just threw the whole order out, save your time and money

I recently discovered this little gem , only 2 1/2 miles from home , and had a big , delicious meal there yesterday , 4/25/24 . I had two servings of both Pineapple Chicken and Mango Shrimp , freshly prepared and absolutely delicious : each generous serving would have a sufficient light lunch in and of itself . The Avocado , Asparagus and Boston rolls were likewise delicious ; I will return for more of everything I ordered in coming weeks ...... Service is exceptionally friendly and welcoming , with seating comfortable and well spaced ; the entire place , including the lavatory , was immaculate . Sake is family owned , and as with so many small Asian restaurants whose proprietors hail from China's Fujian Province , the pride taken in service is ever p;resent here ...... With the unfortunate closing of Ruby Buffet after the Sunrise Mall fire of January , 2021 , Sake by itself fills a much needed South Shore niche . As with my favorite little Italian haven , Seaford's Il Baceto on Jerusalem Avenue , don't let the unprepossessing location fool you : Garden City holds nothing better !

We get this place delivered around twice a month for at least 3-4 years now. Food has always been good. Our last order had some wrong items for the first time ever, they corrected the probably immediately and gave something for free. I’ll continue to buy from them for as long as I eat sushi.

This All you can eat sushi place is the best by far and there hot food options are phenomenal. I bring the whole family there and we eat good and we leave happy. My 3-year-old loves kani salad and everything they have to offer, she even learned how to use chopsticks. The only thing I can say is the atmosphere is great and no issues it just needs updating. I love the POS system that works on a tablet and sends orders to kitchen you get your food so much faster. Maybe a more update decor and updated system with pictures and descriptions of the food. Regardless this is our favorite all you can eat in Nassau county! Thanks Sake Asian.

This is a very enjoyable place for high-quality sushi that fits any budget. I also enjoy their great selection of sake. If you have not been here before, they have an all you can eat menu and a regular menu. If you do not want all you can eat, make sure to specify regular menu. I never had the all you can eat, but I am sure it is a good deal. They have rules that must be respected if you go the all you can eat route.

Food very fresh, and the place was very clean, even the bathroom. The place could use a little upgrade but that's all. Service was very helpful and courteous. I can't wait to go again.

The staff is friendly, but the food is awful. The rice was either old or undercooked. We had the all-you-can-eat sushi special. Most of the rolls and apps have spicy tuna which is the mushy pink stuff.. theirs had NO TASTE. It was so bland. The Naruto Roll which is wrapped in cucumber was so bad we had to pick it up with our hands, the chopstick would slide off the cucumber.. I don't even want to know why??..
The worst was the woman's bathroom, the sink faucet was covered in mold. We asked the manager about it and she said they clean it, but it's been like that for years.. REALLY ??
The tablet they give you to place your order, the cover looks gross. I have to say the cleanliness is definitely not there , I can't imagine what the kitchen looks like.

We have been going there for years. It use to be very good. Lately we noticed that the food was changing. We went tonight & the price of all you can eat went up to $30. It started out at $21. We ordered 4 rolls & 2 appetizers. The rolls were tasteless & the fish seemed to have been ground up. There was much more rice in the rolls & less fish. Wont be back for quite a while. Shame because we frequently went there.

First time visiting this restaurant. Sushi was loaded with more rice. I couldn’t tell the difference between the shrimp tempura and Boston roll

Food came out quickly. However way too much rice on rolls. Crunch was stale. And no eel on menu. The worst part (and shouldve known when we ate the stale crunch). We all had diarrhea the next day.

Solid food, especially since it's all you can eat. A lot of the "all you can eat" spots lose quality, on behalf of quantity. The service is standard. Ordering is done through a tablet, which is efficient. The food can take a while to prepare, so don't hesitate to start ordering as soon as possible, each and every as they're ready for even one thing.

The place smelled weird when we first walked in. You had to order your food off of an ipad which were not cleaned and was very confusing. Only half of the food we ordered came out. And the food was gross. The shrimp in the tempura was skinnier than the chopsticks to eat it with but the breading was the size of a hot dog. We waited 20 mins for the check the people were nice but didnt feel very welcoming. The place is loud and the tables are small. Food was less than average

You start off with thank you when they bring your order and they do not reply...they act like they are doing you a favor..foodcwas gross..not fresh at all ..not even eatible..half our dinners we sent back..old food dressed up ..thats horrible..they should change thier attitude and food ..there's plenty of good places out there don't waste you time, money and stomach pains.

Very poor service. Don't go there. I went there with my spouse and my 3 year old. My 3 year old had her own food from home since she doesnt eat sushi. They still charged her a fee of $12 just because she was sitting there with us.
When I asked for a to go box They gave us a very small box and charged us $5 for it.
We probably ordered sushi for $50 but we were charged a total of $112...
And there are many other places where sushi and other enterees taste a lot better.
Don't waste your money and time...

The owner and staff actually watch everyone on hidden cameras to make sure no one let's another person at the table try your food! Absolutely true! My friend who btw ordered her own dish tasted, took one damn bite of my food and was charged extra for a bite!!! This is absolutely wrong, corrupt and must be stopped!

Also if you do not finish all the food on your plate , you are asked to never return and are scolded!

Sake Asian is a great spot for quick all you can eat service at a decent price. From sushi to Chinese there's something for everyone to enjoy. Also Ice cream desert. Parking is the only issue as the back lot is tiny and street parking is hard as well.

Really good place. Went there with a group of 4 and we all enjoyed the food, even someone who was with us who didnt like sushi ordered other food like Mongolian beef and enjoyed the food. Sushi was good and the portions were large, definetly reccomend if you want all you can eat food.

Best place on earth

Delicious all you can eat! Everything on the menu is available for the all you can eat which is amazing! Only negative is there’s no full bar, only beer and Sake but no huge deal.

We had a party of 3, two did the all you can eat sushi option, one did a bento box special. The variety for an all you can eat sushi place was phenomenal. They were aware and cautious about my sesame allergy. My sister ordered two spicy tuna rolls and wants to say that - "the spicy rolls are entirely too spicy and can barely taste the food". The fried items we got were VERY greasy, such as the tempura and rock shrimp appetizers. Took off a point for the lack of attention when it came to service, such has trying to get a waiter's attention for water, or the check. There were not too many in the restaurant, so this was a bit of a problem. No pics of the food, but you order off an iPad instead of the paper way I've seen before. You send your order through the iPad, and the food starts coming out when ready. Would go back, but a bit expensive, but the variety makes up for it.
Update: tried to make a reservation, but there was a language barrier. You can put your name down, but not make a reservation? That was a bit frustrating.

I've been going to this place for years. Recently, they've added ipad ordering to every table for the all-you-can-eat option and it has been working out great! The food is great and the place is cozy and quiet. I've been going here for 7+ years and I can't recommend it enough.

It's like going to an all you can eat buffet however it's all made to order and brought to your table. You can't beat that.

The owner or manager is a nasty control freak! If you leave anything on your plate, they will charge you extra in addition to the high price! Good eatin...

The best sushi I have had in a long time. Everything tasted so fresh and delicious our taste buds were going crazy. They also have some Chinese dishes menu which made our choice incredibly difficult. If you get a chance stop by and you will see what I mean.

Ran in for a quick lunch. Good food, quick service, reasonable price. I had maki lunch: one tuna, one salmon, one salmon skin. Miso soup and I'm good to go. Quick service for lunches or breaks for me. I'll be back

I ordered a delivery from here on Grub Hub because my usual place forgot all my sauces last time. A man from Saki called me to confirm my order and sauces, and to make sure only one soup had chicken. That was really nice. The pineapple fried rice, Tom Yam soup, salad and my sushi were all amazing! I’m definitely ordering from here again, extremely delicious!!

Since they have changed hands (multiple times) I would say this new owner is rude. We sat down placed our order. We got our order but when we ordered more we waited and waited. Two tables across from us chafed twice while we were there. The waiter put our order in again and again yet we never got our food. We were there for close to two hours. When we complained to the owner he said “not my problem go eat somewhere else”. We will never go there again. The owner needs to learn to act civilly. They load everything up with rice and you need a magnifying glass to find the fish. They have become a horrible place to enjoy a meal.

The waitress was terrible. Do not get the all you can drink they are very slow at bringing drinks over or forget to bring them to the table. Then I asked for green tea ice cream and she said they only had vanilla, so I said okay. She brought out fried ice cream (which we didn’t ask for) and charged us for it when she never said it was not included with the all you can eat sushi. The place is a scam and I’d give zero stars if I could. I’ll never go back or recommend this place. I’d rather drive to my other place which is further for better quality sushi and service.

Just got 3 roll lunch special from here about 20 mins ago. Was eating one of the rolls and bit into something hard.. Turns out it was a STAPLE pin. Chew your food carefully if you decide to eat here. And the back entrance is disgusting.

I order delivery from Sake Asian a lot. The food is always fantastic and it always gets delivered so quickly! I almost always get my food within a half hour of ordering from their website, which is amazing. The sushi and hot foods are always fresh and delicious! I totally recommend this place!

All I can say is.. Get the Dinosaur Egg! Lol My husband and I come here for the All You Can Eat menu, and I love that we use a tablet to place our orders. There is no parking lot, but we always find parking in the street. The Dinosaur Egg I mentioned is one of their many appetizers that just brings a smile to my face every time.

If you have had best sushi, this place is nothing. We ordered special rolls and kitchen specials. They were out of Thai seasoning but never came to our table to let us know. We went to the one in Massapequa.

Do not eat here! Both my husband and I got food poisoning from this place. We have both been sick for hours. We have never had this issue with any other sushi restaurant either.

I go here often with my gf for All You Can Eat sushi. Servers are very attentive and the food is usually ready very fast. Their food is delicious (especially the coconut shrimps!!) and the price is very, very reasonable.

Very enjoyable, we picked the all-you-can-eat option which was reasonably priced and had a good selection. The sushi selection was very good and there were several hibachi offerings as well. It was fun to order from the tablet and orders were sent directly to the kitchen and brought out quickly. (Yes, there is the concern about the touch screen on the tablet and being cautious with COVID but there was ample hand sanitizer on the table. Of course, the tables and booths were well separated.) We remember this restaurant fondly from its former iteration as Chinese cuisine and we are looking forward to our next visit to Sake Asian.

Absolutely Awful!!!!! The service was awful. So Rude!! The food was unlimited for $25.99 but it was absolutely not the same as their delivery. The sushi rolls were filled with tempura no fish all veggie and tempura. I didn’t finish one of the rolls and the waiter or whoever he was told me next time he was going to charge me full price if I didn’t finish my food. It was just so unpleasant. And the Free Sake is untrue. I got my sake 20 mins into dining and was charged Bc it was a large. As we drove home a roach crawled down my shirt—— end of story. Never going back. Truly disgusted

Great AYCE sushi with asian fusion. Full menu with lots of variety.

I went there with friends. One of them got something that they didn’t like so we asked if they could return it or exchange it for something else, they told us no. My friend asked to speak to the manager and finally the manager agreed to exchange the dish for us. That would be very unfair to make us pay for something we did not enjoy eating, and also unprofessional. The food was alright, they need to do better with their customer service.

Consistently excellent sushi. Delivery driver is rude and will scream if you don't tip what he feels he deserves, which is why I've deducted a star, but if you dine in or pick up, the staff is typically friendly

Been searching for a great sushi place open during this pandemic. My fiancé and I have been wanting to try this place since we live so close now. Had it for the first time tonight. We have not ONE complaint. The price is right, the food is right, service was right... it was fantastic! Will DEFINITELY order from here again!

I come here very often and I can say that the sushi is always good but the other food can have its good days and bad days. The service is not the best, you basically order off an iPad they just throw things on your table sometimes not even asking who it’s for which I’m not completely mad at that since I keep coming back. I would recommend this place but don’t expect 5 star service
