The pad Thai was to die for..the only thing about this place is it's a bit to pricey.. I only ordered 2 items and a tea and it was 42 dollars..to to pricey for such small portions. And what I noticed as that when you eat it there they serve u salad while u dine in ..but other words everything was good ..

This place is legit, second time here within three days. The Zap Wings are crazy good, and the crunchy pad Thai is really unique. The traditional pad Thai is also very good, not oily but very flavorful. And we enjoyed the papaya salad. Spice level five is no problem.

This time I just went for something easy and common, plus it was cheaper than the duck. I ordered the Drunken Noodles, aka. Pad Kee Mao. # star spicy was jut about my limit of spicy. The flavors' were the best edition of this dish I've had, and I've had this dish many places all my life! The duck I got last time was some of the best duck I ever had. I posted the photo of the current specials and prices.

I had the Spicy Basil Duck for $24, yeah kind higher priced, but so worth it just once or special occasion. It comes with steamed rice. The duck is roasted and deboned breast and sliced thin mixed with veggies and Thai stuff and basil. Holy moly, this was one tasty dish, you gotta get this! I know people are afraid of duck, cause they think it's greasy or gamy ... not this duck. The chef cooks it and renders most of the fat out, so juicy but not greasy! Just try this dish once! All the rest of the food here is super good too.

Absolutely stellar service and food! Sweet couple run the restaurant, and the service feels like you've come home to mom & dad who are happy to see you, and want to feed you well. The seating is tiny but there are plenty of tables.

Yu de Thai stands head and shoulders above any other Thai food in the area.

Visiting Reno and I am craving for thai food. I found this place close to my airbnb. Ordered Pad thai, panang curry, Pad sew u, tom kai soup, beef red curry. Everything i order taste so good. The place is nice and the manager or owner is really nice older lady. I will definitely will come back if I am around in Reno again.

My husband and I went here for dinner last weekend. The food was amazing. The staff was very friendly. Our waiter introduced us to a table of regulars who told us that their favorite thing to order is something new every time because every dish is even better than the last, I would definitely come back here

Great food! The owner is very nice and personable from the moment you walk in. Service and overall atmosphere were awesome. We got pad thai and the owner recommended his wifes made in house dumplings that were REALLY good, came stuffed with shrimp. We will definitely be returning in the future!

I love this place for food. My one and only complaint is that they do not give you enough rice for your dishes. There is always plenty of the dish that I can make two meals out of the portion, however I always have to make rice to go with the second helping.

Best Thai food I’ve ever eaten! My family lives in the area and I look forward to eating here when I visit. Everything is tasty. The people are so friendly and welcoming. My favorite is the red curry with chicken but the Thai spicy basil with pork is super good. My son loves their beef noodle soup. The Sticky rice with mango is good and their coconut ice cream is the bomb!

The food is always fresh and delicious! We have never had a bad dish and we’ve had everything from Tom Ka soup to spicy basil eggplant to pineapple fried rice.The owner creates a wonderful atmosphere. It is a special treat if you come in on a night when the owner is playing the trombone and his friend is playing keyboards!

The most pleasant staff, accompanied by delicious entrees. In particular the Thai house salad was quite large and filling, the roti is also yummy.

I never write reviews really, but I came to write one on Yu De Thai because I’ve ordered from them 2 days in a row, different items, and I’ve been blown away with how delicious everything has been!

First I ordered Pad Thai, next day we ordered the Panang Curry (one chicken, one tofu), and both days we ordered the Veggie Spring Rolls. Everything was so yummy, large portions that lasted me lunch and dinner, and we got our delivery (DoorDash) quickly and it was hot!

One suggestion for the restaurant would be to provide cutlery for DoorDash orders, but it was worth fishing around my business to find some to dig into this yummy food!

Been here several times,last time I felt very unwelcome by the younger girl. The owner and the lady who makes the ice cream were nice but this girl was rude and bossy. The food was good but she ruined my taste. I still gave it a 4 hoping she isn't there next time or changes her attitude. The stir fry and ice cream are good but definitely pricey

I didn't feel welcomed at this restaurant, and honestly, I never had this experience at any of the other places I've visited before. The owner's demeanor towards me was a bit rude, which contributed to my discomfort. While the food was decent, it didn't quite live up to my expectations. I've definitely had tastier Thai food elsewhere that left a more lasting impression.
I ordered the crispy pork on rice, and I found it to be quite pricey for what was served. The pork slices were thinly cut, and considering the portion size relative to the cost, I didn't feel it was a good value. However, I must admit that the taste was good, albeit not compelling enough for me to justify purchasing it again at that price point. My other orders were just fine.

My wife and I recently visited Reno to see her father. During our visit, we decided to pick up some Thai food. I ordered a Thai spicy yellow curry with pork at spice level 5. Upon arriving at our destination, I discovered several issues with my order.
Firstly, the curry was not spicy at all. Secondly, the dish contained chicken instead of pork, and there were no potatoes as described in the menu. This experience was quite disappointing, and I feel that it was a waste of money.
Based on this experience, I do not plan to order from this establishment again. It was one of the worst dining experiences I have had.

WOW! My tastes buds is always craving Al good authentic Thai food. Ordered the chicken drunken noodle, papaya salad and crispy veggie egg roll’s along with a side of sticky rice and Thai tea. The food was fresh and made fast. My husband and I were on our way to Tahoe and planned to have this as snacks for our road trip. But the food smelled so good that we said “since it’s hot and fresh, let’s try it now”. While parked outside of the restaurant we devoured everything and decided to order more while we were there. Again. When you find a good Asian restaurant- you want to be sure to take advantage of it bc you don’t know when you’ll come by it again.

We added tom Khá soup this time with another order of the egg rolls and drunken noodles. LEVEL 2.5 spice was perfect. A little heat and super bearable.

Friendly family owned and could not be more pleased that this restaurant is here to service our community 🙏🏻👌🏼

Some of the worst customer service I’ve ever encountered, especially for a Thai restaurant. Usually the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. This place is the complete opposite. Seemed like they were more concerned with the customers who might come in versus the customer who was actually there. I enjoy eating by myself and do it quite frequently, but being an introvert I don’t want to be stuck at a table right in the middle of the restaurant. Anyway, I’ve had their food before and it was good enough that I wanted to go back
and try some different dishes. Long story short, didn’t feel welcomed, won’t ever go back, and their hours of operation leave something to be desired. There are better Thai places in the area don’t waste your money here

I came here and ordered what most people order, Pad Thai. If you're one of those people that just orders Pad Thai everytime you go to a Thai restaurant, this is the place for you! Why? Because Yu De Thai here has the best dang Pad Thai I have ever had, and why change when you have the best dish right here? I know plenty of people that only order Pad That when they go out to Thai, and sure there's other stuff to try, but these people just want what's safe and they know what they're gonna get.

Here is flavor is balanced just right and the noodles are fresh noodles, not the dried and rehydrated stuff, like the difference between fresh pasta and dried ... it makes a difference. I get chicken option and they sure don't skimp on the chicken here! 3 stars spicy is just right for me.

Phenomenal service and the food was the match! We got the fried rice and pad Thai. Brought our 5 year old daughter and the staff was so friendly and attentive to her. She wants to come back and so do we :)

Flew from Oregon to visit sister and brother in their new home. They had never tried Thai food. I believed that the Pac Thai in Forest Grove couldn't be beat. I was wrong. Yu De Thai was superb and excelled in every way. The friendly engaging staff are a huge asset. See if you can figure out which of them played for the Oregon Symphony.

My family and I absolutely love this place. I tried the Spicy Combo Eggplant stir fry and ever since, it’s been my favorite! The pad Thai is delicious and all the ingredients are so fresh and flavorful. The owners are so sweet and the husband even gave my nephew some cookies after dinner. The Thai tea is also really good. Honestly, everything is really really good. Next time I go I will get the curry which filled the restaurant with such a heavenly smell when we walked in.

We will always continue coming here! 😊

Dang, that was some good Thai food. I stopped in for dinner and ordered the Drunken Noodles with Chicken at spicy level 2, and it was probably the tastiest drunken noodles I can remember having. Perfect level of spicy for someone who does love spice, but not overwhelmingly so.

The service was extremely quick and the staff was friendly. While I was there, a birthday song was played for another table, and I made small talk with another employee who made a great joke.

I usually don't eat out much, but I'll definitely be back to this restaurant! Highly recommend!

I ordered a chicken red curry spice level 2. It was delicious and the portion was big. It reminded me of the food in Thailand that I tried a decade ago.

The Tom Kha soup is literally life changing, nothing has ever touched me this way before - I enjoyed it so much I changed my name and quit my job. I bought a lotto ticket and won the jackpot, I married the woman of my dreams, and still the best thing to happen to me this week was the soup.

Update - it's the year 3000. Mankind is nearly extinct, still locked in the 950 year struggle between Tom Kha devotees and the godless army of the Unsouped. I awoke from cryosleep nine years ago and I've traveled 5000 miles by foot, fighting at every turn for my life, to find the last remaining bar of 5g wifi. Instantly my plan fell into place, an ancient Google server pinged my device asking me to update my prior review - just as I expected. I am sending this message back into time to stop the madness, if you are reading this, you must spread the soup to everyone, the fate of humanity depends on it.

The green curry sent me to another planet. The pork was perfectly tender and not chewy. The bamboo was soft and perfect to put in a bite with the pork. It came with rice. The woman running the entire front of house was so sweet!

The food was so good. My favorite by far was the steamed dumplings! Fast service, and friendly staff! So far, this is my favorite Tai Restaurant in Sparks!

OUTSTANDING!!! As soon as we sat down at the table the owner's husband asked us if it was our 1st time here? When we said yes, he sat down walked thru the menu and gave us suggestions and what was popular. Every single suggestion was right on point and the entire meal was beyond fantastic. Both the owner and her husband proceeded to talk with us and gave us legendary customer service. They were the cutest couple and they made a great meal into a perfect dining experience. Then we were served and delicious veggie soup 🍲 and yummy small salad ... I ordered Tom Kha soup and Thai iced tea it was fresh and flavorful full of chicken 🐔 and the flavor was to die for ... My husband had a seafood plate and it was huge with mussels shrimp tilapia basil green beans bell peppers and the mixture of flavors and freshness was so good and tasty such a treat .... We finished the meal with a bowl of coconut creamy ice cream .... The prices were very reasonable the service was amazing the owner was so accommodating and recommended many wonderful choices on the menu.... The restaurant is very clean and diner like playing oldies but goodies music .... If you want AMAZING THAI FOOD THIS IS THE PLACE FOR YOU ... We went for lunch on 7/15/23 and had the beef pad Thai and the seafood prik kling. Both were delicious, the veggies in the prik kling were perfectly cooked (tender crisp) and the shrimp were huge! Would 100% go again! Great service too.

Today I ordered Tom Yum Soup to go with chicken, I paid $14.06 for what appears to be a cup of soup, not a bowl, see photo, I will NOT order this again, it's not acceptable to send out such a tiny amount of soup and charge for a bowl, 2 of these would equal a bowl, but one? Not worth it! It's delicious but not worth it.

By far the best Thai food in Reno. Small and kind of a hole-in-the-wall kind of place, so I'd imagine it's hard to get a table during dinner time, but it is so absolutely worth it!
We got the chicken fried rice and chicken Tom kha, and it was fantastic! Prices were reasonable as well, my girlfriend and I got water and both dishes with a tip for only $33

It's a nice little restaurant I've always seen but never tried until recently for the first time. The food was great, I had the Wings, this crispy pork with broccoli, my friend got their crispy chicken pad Thai, and their beef noodles soup. The staff was very friendly and fast for how busy they got for dinner service. A pleasant surprise for someplace i had high hopes for.

HOLY SMOKES! This place blew my expectations WAY out of the water. From the delicious food and staff I couldn't have asked for a better meal out with my family. My 3 year old even liked it! The food was pretty good but was a lil dry. Service was great. I'm not much into the atmosphere, at all. It's tiny, boring decor, tables all cluttered together in an area that must have been maybe 400sq ft. The part I didn't like the most was that it was night and they had all the curtains open, and the windows were big, so anybody passing by, driving walking can watch you eat, detailed and up close. A single Thai beer is $9. And for 2 people to eat and just one beer it cost $53. I don't think the food and atmosphere justify the prices.

Ordered Thai spicy basil with chicken, they added eggplant and I didn't ask for that dish. I picked out the eggplant and it was still good. Also got red curry but it was gross. Had a weird smell and taste to it. I couldn't eat it at all. Mom got the avocado egg roll, it's bigger than a normal egg roll which I would hope so since it's only 1. She liked it though.

The chicken wings were pretty great, but overly sweet, as well as pad Thai noodles. If they improved in these 2 dishes, I would highly recommend them, but I have had better Thai!

Read the reviews and decided to stop in. We had the panang curry and pad thai. Delicious! I would also recommend the homemade coconut ice cream. The food was great but the owner was there and personally stopped to check with us and every customer. You don't often see that but it made our experience even better.

Curry, zaap wings, drunken noodle, Thai tea! Absolutely amazing. I've been back three times in two weeks. Perfect balance of sweet and heat. Their chili paste is house made and the flavors of the chili's used shine through. Better than my home made curry and I thought I was doing a good job!

This place has the best food and service hands down! I love the Soup! The couple that own this place always makes me feel welcome.

Such a wonderful place! The owner grows her own vegetables and all of the food is fresh and homemade, you can tell that she is cooking for her customers where she cooks for her self. They just opened four months ago – patronize them and help them succeed!

Super good experience both visits we have come! The owners are sooo nice! Studied a semester in Bangkok and this is the most authentic Thai food in Reno by far. Make sure to ask for Farang pet! ;) spice levels are perfect!

My new go to in Reno!! This place is amazing. Spice levels are somewhat inconsistent depending on who cooks it. I ordered a 3 and it was not spicy at all, a 4 almost killed me. All in all great flavors and highly recommend!!!

I highly recomend this Restaurant, the food is excellent and wonderful service too, if you know how the spicy hot level works on thai food i will recoment level 1 spicy or level 2 as entry hot level.
This is my first Time in the Restaurant along with my Wife, Daughter and 2 Grand kids, and they love it too.

Simply delicious! We ordered the chicken pad see ew, pineapple fried rice and mas a man beef curry and they’re all 10/10. Spicy level 4 was too spicy even for us that eat spicy regularly. I think a level 2 would be ok for most.

I am from out of town and after one visit, this place became my favorite place in Reno. The food is great, but the service is unrivaled. The couple that runs this shop are so sweet and charming that I want to move here just to eat here once a week. This is the kind of place you become a regular and they know you by name. Try the Thai Iced Tea, it is a perfect pairing for your choice of spicy dish!

Wow! This place is absolutely amazing. The food quality is the same as when I visited Thailand. Very authentic and made with care. Such a gem to have this in Reno/Sparks. The staff are friendly and checked on us often. I would have recommend this to family and friends.

Came recommended to us by my parents. Food was fantastic, reasonable prices, great music, and excellent service! The owners are so nice! We will definitely be repeat customers.

We came in here for a late lunch (Yellow curry and thai iced tea for her, red curry for me). Both curries were very delicious and fresh. However, the attentiveness of the owners really distinguished this place from other restaurants that we've ate at. We'll definitely stop back here the next time that we are in the Reno area.

The best Thai I’ve had in Reno I think, ever. So delicious. The most well balanced, comforting satisfying dishes. Got the panang curry, my favorite and something I order at every Thai restaurant I got to. Also the tom kha soup. Perfect.

What a cute little, clean and lovely place! Run by the cutest couple who were super welcoming and friendly. This is new management and recently opened. I couldn't believe how sparkling clean this place was. Good food and definitely worth checking out. Highly recommend and will go back to taste other options on the menu.
We got the panang thai curry and the drunken noodles. My husband was so impressed by the noodles. The medium 3 was good spice for us, I would say it was spicy enough for me.
The owner warned me. The 2 would probably be comfortable and we eat spicy enough food.
You will be amazed by the hospitality and the customer service of the owner. Definitely made it very relaxing to grab lunch here. Oh, they also have lunch specials.

You should definitely try the crispy pad thai! Never had that anywhere else and this place serve it delicious! My other favorite is the green papaya salad, very flavorful, zesty and fresh. They also serve tofu satay and vegetable spring rolls that is served with peanut sauce and also very tasty! The owners were very sweet and did amazing customer service. We'll definitely come back.

The food was delicious. I had the Pad Thai. My companion had the vegetable stir fry. Beyond the excellent meal, I was extremely impressed with their operations. The restaurant owners pay special attention to the tiny details. The decor was classy and the over all condition of the furnishing made the restaurant seem brand new. Most of all, I loved the cleanliness… spotless glasses with crystal clear filtered water, clean bathrooms. It was nice to sit in a restaurant and not worry if there’s more in my food and drink than I ordered, if you know what I mean.

Happy I found this place, and that it’s open on Sundays! Ordered the green curry with tofu, drunken noodles, and fresh spring rolls- delicious. Great portions and they don’t use styrofoam for takeout :)

My family and I wanted to try a new taste and while searching we found this place. Wonderful costumer service and beautiful, clean waiting area ( due to low staff no dining in) Although it did take about 10 more minutes from the estimated wait time the food was delicious and we will definitely be ordering again.
