The food is sooooooo good! Closest to what I ate in Thailand that I've found. My favorite Thai place in STL so far. I come here almost on a weekly basis, both for dine in and carryout. Have never had a bad experience nor has anyone I've dined with. Year later and have yet to find anywhere with the same quality of food. Still absolutely delicious.
Great first visit. Very flavorful wonton soup without being over salted. Food is very fresh and served steaming hot, as it should be. The seafood curry soup with crispy noodles was amazing. Spring rolls were pretty good. Small, clean restaurant with nice decor. You order at the counter and then the freshly made food is brought to your table. Nice server. Will plan to return. Sauce containers are all sticky, but it was a pleasant dining experience.
Be aware of the spice level, would have given 5 stars, but even the level 1 spice was so intense that I couldn't truly enjoy what I ordered. I ended up taking g it home and giving it to my daughter, she handles spice a little better than I do and she loved it, but was also surprised that it was just a level 1.
BEWARE all Uber Eats and Door Dash drivers/customers! I accepted a pickup from this place at 2:30pm on a Sunday. I was informed upon arrival that there are no cooks there between 2-4pm and that the customer would have to place the order again after 4… They didn’t even bother to call me (the driver) or the customer to let us know. Obviously I did not get compensated for the time and gas I wasted driving there. In addition, I lost out on what was supposed to be a $30 delivery.
I came to this place to treat myself to dinner as I waited for my sister to get finished with bible study. For as long as I have to take her to bible study, I will definitely come here. This is like my new Thai spot in the Manchester area to visit. I love Thai food. Well, I love what I have been led to believe is Thai food. I’m sure the food is Americanized to a certain point. Regardless, I love the music, the decor and the food. I love that they’re willing to make accommodations for my vegan self. Overall a wonderful place.
My husband and I went here the other night for dinner and the food was delicious. The Crab Rangoon was piping hot. We ordered Som Tom (Papaya) salad and it was by far the best som tom we’ve had in St. Louis and was supremely spicy. We ordered everything extra spicy and the flavor of the food was still coming through. My husband ordered the Beef Pho bowl and I got Yellow chicken curry. We also ordered some boba milk tea which I forgot to take a picture of. It wasn’t the “best” boba I’ve ever had by any means but it was a nice compliment to the food. The portion sizes are quite large I think 2 people could easily share one entree depending on how much you eat, though you made need some extra rice if you plan to share. Service was excellent. The owner was extremely sweet and hospitable. The restaurant was also very clean and cozy.

Very clean, good food, and great service.

Exceptional!
I absolutely love this place! It is the best Thai food I’ve had in STL. You can always tell that everything is made fresh. My family and I order from Sweetie Cup often and we have always had great experiences. Wait time is very minimal and estimated accurately, the owner always greets us at the front counter and treats us with kindness, and of course the food is to die for! I highly recommend the Beef Pho, Thai Ramen Noodle, and Tom Yum. I cant say enough great things about this place. We love you Sweetie Cup!
An amazing little (hidden) gem of a restaurant, tucked back in the corner of the business strip of Dougherty Ferry & Big Bend rd. If you're looking for truly authentic Thai food, look no further. One look at your dish tells you they use the absolute, freshest of ingredients. The first savory bite will confirm it. Their pineapple fried rice is hands down, #1 in the St. Louis area.
You can't go wrong here! Everything is fresh and delicious! Love the little almond cookies!
Best Thai food in the area. Love the curry!
Food was good. The Thai tea was awesome. No alcohol. A little pricey.
Absolutely the best food always and the friendly service in all of St Louis county.
My daughter and I have been coming here for years, even after moving a bit farther away. It’s just the best, period.
The food is amazing. The staff is always friendly. Very clean and cute dining vibes. Fast service too! Affordable.
They always have the best food! So fresh, and I appreciate the gluten free options.
Front desk women was very rude and tried to fraud us on our bill. Absolutely trash service never going back there!!
I'm a return customer, and always have a great experience. All the menu options I've had are good, but the spicy salmon dish is the best!
Fantastic food.
My wife and I originally came for the boba, but when we realized they had food, we were pretty stoked, since Thai is some of our favorite food. I have to tell you—the food is the real highlight. The Thai fried rice is top notch, chicken satay, chicken wings, tom kha, tom yum, pad thai, I mean everything we’ve tried has been stellar! We come here all the time, it’s a definite go-to in our rotation. The owners and workers are also very kind and personable. We love it so much!
I’ve been sleeping on this place! Holy cow y’all. Menu isn’t huge like some other Asian restaurants but they have all the staples you’d expect. Prices are typical. Very quick to get my take out order Friday night. Crab Rangoon is LEGIT! Actual crab. I’m a crabby little crab fiend so I’ll be back here several times in the future!
Hidden gem. Some of the best Thai food in STL and very kind service
I haven’t had this good of Thai food since I went to Thailand…Crispy egg rolls, Green curry, and drunken noodles are the best in St. Louis hands down!! They even give you a little free dessert!:)
I was craving Thai food and this place really hit the spot! We ordered the red curry, crab Rangoon, spring rolls, and beef and broccoli stir fry. Great food, service, and atmosphere!
Delicious, authentic Thai experience. Try the chicken panang curry!
The best food around!! Absolutely delicious. And the people working there are friendly. Great customer service!
The waiter today had great service and was very nice
best thai food in STL. fresh ingredients, delicious food, and friendly staff. will definitely go back to try other dishes.
For a $20 pad thai (I ordered extra chicken). There was MAYBE 2-3oz of chicken. Very disappointed. Flavor was ok, service was good. Maybe they forgot my request for extra chicken?
Delicious food, I go here a lot. If you're asking yourself if you should go here, or anywhere else, I'd pick here!
I happened to be in the area and driving by and noticed there were people dining inside and they seemed to be enjoying themselves. The aroma that greeted me promised good food to come. I received great customer service as I ordered to go, with no idea what I wanted, besides the whole menu. The lady asked a series of questions to make down a couple recommendations and nailed it. I'm totally satisfied with my cashew rice with chicken.
They sassily claim they posted their No dine in after 4pm policy on google. I told them that they didn’t but they kept insisting. Therefore, 2 stars.
I would order the fresh spring rolls for lunch every day if I could! They are so delicious, I just can't get them often enough.
Delicious!!
Kicking myself I haven’t been here sooner! The Thai coffee was just how I like my coffee: strong flavor, not too sweet, and of a thicker consistency. (Not heavy; comparable to using soy milk in ur coffee as opposed to the thinness of almond milk.) I also got the pineapple fried rice and this was like a legit gift from the universe fr. My favorite combo of savory and sweet and a good mix of veggies.
I paid about 25-30 for a small drink, two appetizers, and fried rice plus tofu.
The inside of building is definitely clean.
My small order was finished quickly. Definitely looking forward to returning!
Very good Southern Thai home cooking!
Papaya salad☆☆☆☆☆Panang curry w/zucchini and green beeens☆☆☆☆☆Fresh Thai chilies and veggies, fast friendly service , bright clean atmosphere and very good value$$.
I really enjoyed the Panang Curry and Crab Rangoon. Will try the yellow curry next time. My wife and I didn’t like the Pad Thai – we got it with chicken but it had an offputting scent and taste… I think it was an abundance of fish sauce.
Update: We tried the yellow curry and beef pho and loved both of those as well.
I was craving for Thai food, so I decided to try this restaurant. It was easy to find on Google Maps. The restaurant was small but clean. It has an abundant parking space out front. It had basic decor. Staff was friendly. Unfortunately, the food was below average compared to other Thai restaurants. It was salty, and the noodles were bland. They were deceptive and charged more than their online listed price.
My favorite Thai restaurant in St. Louis. They have wonderful entrees and crab Rangoon. The Som Tom Salad (papaya salad) is by far the best I’ve ever had. The owner is incredibly sweet. The boba is also great
Everything we've had has been excellent.
One of our favorites! Pineapple fried rice with shrimp and green curry are out go tos.
So happy to finally find an excellent thai spot close to home! Fresh ingredients and fabulous tastes make this our new go-to spot. Plus they have delicious boba tea!
I did not know exactly what to expect when I walked in, but was pleasantly surprised. There's a little bit of everything, from Pho, to rice dishes, to some milk tea type beverages. All of the aforementioned food was immaculate. I even went back and asked to edit my tip because they deserved that much more. If you find yourself in the area, you will not be disappointed.
Spring rolls were fire! The Tai Chicken Salad is great, especially if you’re wanting a light lunch. My wife ordered the Pad KeeMao. The spice level is well rounded and balanced.
Some of the BEST RICE in town!!!
Very Fresh,
Have only tried beverages so far. My son's Thai tea was good but I ordered coconut milk tea and 100% received a plastic go cup of plain coconut milk. Not even a whisper of tea added.
I have tried many many Thai Places here in STL and it is of my opinion that Sweetie Cup has the best Thai Curry around. It is so full of flavor. The owner is very nice and accommodating. I've never had any issues with my orders and I am sure that if I ever did, they would be happy to fix it. They also happen to have very good boba tea.
I highly recommend this establishment if you're ever around and want to try some good tasting food.
From what I can tell it is a family run buisness and I love that. Supporting small business is a big deal to me.
Good food, sauces a little sweet for me
Back in STL from the East Coast and really wanted some Thai food. This place was close by so I decided to give it a try. OMG!!! The food was amazing. The pineapple fried rice was the best I've had so far and I travel alot. I was so excited to try the food I forgot to take before photos! I only got a shot of the Thai iced tea. lol
Just give this place a try. The lady is super nice and the food is great!
Very yummy! Pineapple fried rice with chicken and Ramen with chicken were great.. The different dipping sauces for the egg rolls and the crab ragoon were the best I've had, not exactly sure what they were. I can't wait to try everything on the menu! Definitely a hidden gem!
Soooooo good!! Everything I’ve ever had here is always delicious, so my family and I come here all the time. They also give us really good homemade coconut cookies with every order. Really good honeydew boba too, I get it every time lol. Definitely hidden gem so I recommend to like all my friends cuz I would be so sad if they closed😭. I don’t even leave reviews but sweetie cup is goated. GO THERE.
I love Sweetie Cup! Amazing Thai food and wonderful service! The owner is nice and always accommodating for changes you need to make like making vegetarian spring rolls or letting you substitute items if desired. The food is the best - the flavors are incredible and never too oily or heavy. Definitely one of my favorite spots in town!
This is our go-to Thai take out. Really good! Try the spring rolls!
They got the best fried rice! My personal reference is with tofu and shrimp.
This soothing cafe is the comfortable and chill hideout my boyfriend and I like to go to for some hearty eats and relaxation. It's perfect for catching up, a casual date, or a great introduction to the Kirkwood area.
Their food is consistently well-prepared, sanitary, and very very tasty! They have great portion sizes, great service, and lively atmosphere due to the natural sunlight, their plants, and other decorations.
They always keep their restroom clean, and each member of staff is polite and enjoyable to talk to.
We love the family that works there and wish them nothing but the best!
The boba tea was good and the woman who took our order was very nice. I would love to come back again and try different flavors.
Update: The second time I came here the bubble tea wasn’t very good. The boba was weirdly falling apart and disintegrating into chunks. It was quite difficult to drink it.
Food was fantastic and spicy🌶️🌶️🌶️
My go -to restaurant!! I’ve never had a dish that I dislike!!
Just stopped by for lunch and was amazed. Great quick friendly service and delicious light fresh Thai food. One of the best, if not the best! Thai food I've had in St.Louis if you are in the area highly reccomend. Definitely will be returning for more great food!
Delicious food. Great service!
Cute thai lady works there
I had the spicy salmon with fat noodles, red peppers, carrots and onions. The noodles themselves weren't very spicy, but the sauce they were in were sooooo good. The iced tea I believe was made from Jasmine tea, also very good. Plus the lady running is very nice.
If you're around the Valley Park area off Dougherty Ferry and Big Bend, do yourself a favor and stop in Sweetie Cup. It's the best Thai food around that area for sure.
We love this place! What a hidden gem! We’ve lived close for years and never known about it, and now that we do we can’t stop going there!
Just tried this Thai restaurant for lunch and was blown away! I got the spring rolls and Pad Thai with chicken. The spring rolls were very fresh and the dipping sauce was excellent! The spicy scale is 1-5 and I ordered my Pad Thai at a number 5. This certainly was a good amount of spice and made the dish quite delicious. The only negative, if it can be considered that, is that I thought it could have been spicier. This was a great experience and I would certainly go back again.
Awesome little spot! Quick and tasty food. Pad Thai is yummy!
Pad Thai was good and the yellow curry was excellent! Will definitely be make this place a regular.
Delicious! We moved here recently and this will be my new go-to for takeout! Cannot wait to try more dishes. The coconut-almond macaroon that comes with your order … chef’s kiss 💋!
Great pad thai and chili crisp
Spicy fried rice is delicious, and the chicken sautéed is amazing. I find myself coming back again and again for these items!
Incredible food. Very fresh and light, everything on the menu is great. The owners absolutely know how to create amazing dishes.
The staff is great, the boba is okay, I have yet to try the food.
Really really fresh and delicious. Tons of amazing authentic food to try! Will be back. 🥰
Amazing food and really good prices. This is the best Thai food I’ve had from a restaurant. We tried the pineapple fried rice based on other reviews and were blown away. The pad kee mou was another favorite. The curries are fantastic, and the pad Thai is really good.
Great food....fair prices. We went in for our first time tonight and enjoyed some delicious food! I’m sure we’ll be back soon.
love this place, this is my new favorite thai place. portion size is amazing at a price that is impossible to beat. the pad thai is excellent as well as any dishes that my family or friends has ordered. the service is excellent and the food came out promptly. the place is very simple and clean. highly recommend this place
The Pad Thai was delicious and the server was attentive and provided service with a smile!
This is my favorite go-to. I’ve had pleasure of making acquaintance with the kind mgr/owner here. So professional, courteous, and prompt with services. It always lifts my spirits to go there and I’m never disappointed. Honeydew boba drink is the best ever. Right in my neighborhood but I’d drive from anywhere in St. Louis county or city to get there. Yum!
Wonderful food! So fresh! Thai fried rice with chicken and spicy basil with beef were excellent choices.
Best Thai in the area and always friendly to customers. Pineapple fried rice is the bomb and their bubble tea is prepared to order and tastes just so good and fresh. As a nearby resident Sweetie Cup is definitely on the top of my list.
Delicious food and great value! I'm very excited to go back.
I'm sooo glad my friend recommended this restaurant to me, I would have never known it was just down the road from me and SOOO delicious! Their tofu is some of the best I've ever had hands down, the noodles are cooked and seasoned perfectly, I can't get enough!
Delicious gluten free options. We had the fried rice, pad Thai, and spring rolls (without shrimp) and we loved everything. I will definitely go back!
Amazing costumer service! Everything we got tasted amazing including the bubble tea.
super friendly and helpful wait staff. great food. reasonably priced.
Love it! Try the iced coffee, so good!
I have lived in the area for my entire life and I never knew this place existed until I moved to the Kirkwood area. I have had plenty of Thai cuisine and spent some time in Thailand as well. This is by far my favorite place, and you can always expect amazing customer service, as well as quality food that always tastes the same as before. I continue to eat here because my experience is always great. The cleanliness is amazing, the friendliness of the staff in person and over the phone is always kind and welcoming, and my order is always accurate, and food is always fresh and hot. I will continue to order from here as long as I’m in St. Louis. 5 stars 🌟
Tucked away at the corner of Dougherty Ferry and Big Bend you'll find this delightful locally owned Thai restaurant! The owner is wonderful and accommodating and makes every visit a pleasure. Don't let the modest but tastefully decorated storefront fool you, the food here is exceptional, with a number of vegetarian friendly options. My go-to is the Pad Thai with Boba tea, with cookies for dessert. Portion sizes are ample, so come hungry. You won't regret stopping by!
The food was less than desirable. We couldn't even finish our meal.
Wonderful service and food. I really enjoyed the sweetie cup!
Love this place!! Food is amazing and I love the bubble tea.
very nice ,food is good
This is definitely one of my favorite Thai restaurants in the Metro Area. The food is always fresh and the bubble tea, yum! They make a wicked good Chicken Noodle soup too! Please give these ladies a visit, they won’t disappoint.
Best Thia food I'v found in St Louis. Most dishes can have the spicy level adjusted to what you like. The potstickers & egg rolls are thin covered & wonderfully crispy. I'v tried almost all of the items on the menu & haven't found 1 I would't get again.
So bad name equals great food. I live close so it's now our #1 carryout place for fresh and well made food. The papaya salad, chicken sauteed, spring rolls, and pad thai are all authentic, fresh and flavorful. Please check this place out.
Delicious Thai food! Friendly and helpful staff made us feel very welcome. We enjoyed our meal.
Fresh and delicious.
Very tasty!
We've been craving good quality Thai food close to home and we are SO SO happy and impressed with this place. Friendly staff, comfortable atmosphere, phenomenally tasty food seasoned well and served fresh. Dine in and carry out available. We will be customers for life here!
Very good Thai food.
Delicious. Very nice owner. Great prices.
The food was delicious and ingredients were fresh. I love Thai food and have been looking for a good place near Kirkwood. The menu is extremely affordable and the portions were a good size. Can't wait to go back, I highly recommend the pot stickers and yellow curry.
Im surprised by another review saying this is the only good or authentic Thai place they have had in STL. There are lots of great Thai restaurants here. Pearl Cafe and Thai Country Cafe are two of my favorites. Simply Thai 2 in Ferguson is probably the best Ive had in the metro area.
I got take out here tonight and was shocked at how fast they cooked my food, I was a walk-in and they fired up my basil chicken in a few minutes. What also caught me by surprise is how small the portions are. Its probably 40 percent smaller than entrees at other Thai restaurants. Even the white rice portion came in the smallest to-go box Ive ever seen. Thats a particular knock against their authenticity because rice isnt a side dish in Thailand, its a main component of their cuisine! It was a few bites of rice in that box. The food is good, no doubt but it’s rare that Ive had bad Thai food so its hard to stand out in this field. I do wish portions were bigger, perhaps I should come back for dine-in, maybe their to go boxes are just really small but based on some pictures Im seeing I guess they just have small portions.
Prices are good, about a dollar or maybe two less for a plate than other places. I cant comment on their unique desserts, I didn't try any. Im sure Ill be back!
Im glad they moved in, the more Thai close by the better!
Amazing food. Everything is good. Try some egg rolls with your order!
Great food & friendly staff. Highly recommended for casual Thai or takeout.
The food was not great. The service was good.
A very unique venue!
The food and drinks are very tasty. This may be our new favorite place.
Enjoyed it for the first time today and we all thought everything was delicious!! Service was fantastic as well. Thank you for a great experience!
Our service was prompt and friendly, attentive without being overbearing, which was very nice. I went with a few other people. All 4 of us got different dishes. The thai coffee was delicious. I got the pho, which was the best I've had in a long while. My friends got the salmon, a tofu dish, and the green bean dish, and all raved about it. Prices were very reasonable. The decor is simple but pleasant. Overall, highly recommended and I'll be returning.
Great Thai, servers are very friendly. Kid friendly also. Lots of bubble tea and dessert options. Reasonable price for the portions
Decided to order some classics for carry out for our first time. The Yellow Curry, Pad Thai, and Spring Rolls were all simple and extremely flavorful! The complimentary salted almond cookie was a nice touch as well. Will definitely go back to try some other items on the menu. This is a welcome addition to the neighborhood!
Visiting from out of state. Went there after deciding not to wait long at two other restaurants. Food was perfect. Fast service. Homey atmosphere. Cheerful waitress. Great family place for Thai!
Great Thai food. Service was prompt and friendly.
Delicious!
The food was wonderful and amazing! Definitely coming back with friends and will recommend this place.
This was my first time eating here and the food was SO good. The yellow curry was the best I have had in St. Louis - super flavorful and fresh with a hint of heat. We also got the pad thai with tofu and loved it. For desert I tried the sweetie cup special which was so different from anything I have had before - it was like eating a cup of jewels - I can't wait to try their other drinks. So happy to have found a good thai place in the area.
So glad this place opened up! Hard to find good Thai in STL suburbs!
Nice new addition to Kirkwood. Food is clean, fresh, and classic americanized Thai. You won't find anything new but it is executed very well and will satisfy your curry cravings.
Prices are exceptionally reasonable, crispy egg rolls for $2 and spring rolls for $4? Haven't seen prices that low in years!
Also a location to get Bubble Tea. Staff and owner were very friendly and nice. Since food is prepared fresh, it will be slightly longer wait times.
great boba milk tea, can't wait to come back for more!
I used to Live in Los Angeles and loved the Thai food there. I was really looking for an authentic Thai restaurant here, and this is it! The food is prepared daily, and is fresh, no frozen or processed anything. This is the best there is in Saint Louis. You have to try this out. Even if you are not familiar with Thai food, do yourself a huge favor and go over and try it out!
Wll I tell You, I love everything about this place! The owners top priority is to make sure the customer is taken care of in all the right ways! The food is so fresh and amazing. The desserts are out of this world!
