I am so happy we finally stopped in here! The service and the food are both five stars. I love that you can choose your level of spice and that it's actually accurate (which is hard to find!). The cream cheese egg rolls are my new favorite. I love them! The pad Thai chicken was a little flavorless, so perhaps we will bump the spice level on that next time.. but the general tso was AMAZING!

When I open my food I immediately went for my wings and they were disgusting cooked in old grease and just not fresh chicken! I called them about it and they got rude with me and hung up on me because I’m not happy with my food! Safe to say I will never return! And if I wasn’t at work I would have drove up there gave them there food and got my money back! First and last time I wouldn’t ever come back!

I visited Red Moon Asian Cuisine in Eden Prairie for the first time today with high expectations. I've wanted to try this restaurant out for a while, but just had not had an opportunity. I found that the staff was very friendly, the location clean and the food was good. I ordered a lunch special hoping that it would be enough food to fill me up, but I was disappointed in the portion size. The meal cost me $14 and I felt the value was just not there. I've been to many other Asian restaurants with the same quality food where the portion size is larger and the price is cheaper. I think I'll be going back to those restaurants in the future instead of this Asian restaurant.

Staff was top notch; always attentive. The Jasmine tea was great, the chicken on a stick was dry. The spring rolls tasted great, fresh ingredients. The wonton soup needed more flavor. The shrimp and vegetable stir fry was good, with crunchy veggies.

Food was bland, laap was not good. Papaya salad lao style was not lao style at all. Lao beef jerky was too sweet, Chicken wings were ok. If your going to serve lao food make it taste traditional, just my opinion.

Wanted to try this restaurant for a long time finally went there today with my son for lunch. I ordered the chicken lo mein extra spicy number four on the spicy rating and my son ordered the garlic beef stirfry. I thought my lo mein was very good. I love the fried rice and the little rolled up cream cheese Wontons. My son said he liked his dish but the beef was a little tough but the sauce was good. My only negative is the portions were very small for $12. But I will be back I would like to try dinner there, overall the flavor of the food was very good And the young girl serving us was really good. She was on top of everything so I tipped her well.

Great lunch specials! This is one of our new favorite lunch spots in Eden Prairie - and at $13, the lunch specials are a generous bargain. You get your choice of Asian entrée (there are several to choose from), fried or steamed rice and an egg roll or cream cheese wontons.

I’ve had the Thai basil chicken and the red curry chicken, and they’ve both been solid choices. The curry was nice and milky, with just the right amount of heat at the “slightly spicy” setting. The veggies are tender-crisp (not mushy), and the sauce adds heft without getting all goopy.

The Vietnamese-style egg rolls are small and tightly wrapped, served with a mild fish sauce. They were a bit on the greasy side, but still crunchy and tasty.

Hidden away in a generic strip mall near Eden Prairie Center, the restaurant is small and cozy, with white linen tables and huge windows that let in lots of sunlight.

Unused steam tables occupying the back of the room give it a bit of a storage-room feel. But our server was quite friendly and attentive, so we sat down and soon felt right at home. We’ll definitely be back!

Love it here. The service is great. The staff is kind and It's always super clean and well kept! If you're close, you can come for lunch and get back in under an hour, so it's a great stop if you're at the office or kind if short on time

From out of town and LOVED this! The food was outstanding. We had the spicy peanut chicken and have never had a better version. Everything was perfect. Headed back that way in the future and are already making plans to eat there again.

Ordered General Tso chicken. Disappointed in this dish. General Tso chicken is suppose to be spicy. This is just sweet. When I mentioned it to waitress she said I would have had to order it spicy. Sorry but what they serve here is just saucy chicken. It shoud not have the General Tso description if it's not that. Egg rolls were OK.

Tried this spot for the first time, ordered delivery. The spring rolls had very little shrimp, as if 1 shrimp was split between 2 rolls. I ordered the basil seafood fried rice, not the basil shrimp fried rice. There was only shrimp in the rice, the rice was severely overcooked and there was no green onions. Don't waste your money here.

We received a gift card to this place. Chicken was dry in both entrees. The sauce of one entree was gelatin like. I had three bites couldn’t even finish it. The waitress asked how it was but offered nothing to try to satisfy the fact that I couldn’t stomach to eat it. I do not recommend. It was a bit surprising when we got there and there was only one other table on a Friday night, now we can see why.

Came in to get food to go as I work near by. I ordered the chicken lo mein level 1 spice as I was still on the clock, and some steamed potstickers. Now I gotta say I've not been in there in YEARS gotta be almost 10 or so by now. Was an easy 3 star place back then, but the food now is great for the price I paid. Easily will be a regular from here on out.

We had a last minute party order for fried rice and lo mein. Not only did they meet the one hour notice we provided, the quality and taste exceeded all expectations of my family! Even the pickiest of kids enjoyed the noodles. The receptionist was incredibly helpful in assisting with quantities, budget and serving suggestions. We will absolutely be ordering from here again! Definitely the best we've had in Eden Prairie!

Generous portions for the price. I never have a problem getting a table during lunch. I work nearby and this is one my go to places. Food is good and comes very fast typically. You can pay right from the receipt, don't even need to wait for the waitress. A great spot for a quick bite.

My girlfriend and I both just love the Red Moon Asian Cuisine. This is now our go to restaurant for our get together for lunch and tea. The meal was one of the best Asian meals I have had. Jasmine tea yummy. Service was excellent.

We frequently order red moon for take out and are always satisfied. Their portions are enough for two or three full meals and the food is delicious. I highly recommend their Singapore noodles!

The lunch specials are a good deal, the food is prepared quickly, and everything I’ve ordered from here tastes great. I love that I can pick the level of spice for some of the meals because I love getting food that’s a bit spicier. I also think that they have some of the best Thai tea in Eden Prairie.

Edible. After a few bites I opted for leftovers from the fridge. The curry was a gelatin consistency. Little curry flavor, but the flavor that was there I am told by my wife improved by the additional of soy sauce they provided.

I haven’t tried this place under the previous management, but I was blown away with my meal here today. The kapoon is everything I missed at Lemongrass - the perfect flavor of creamy red curry broth balanced with rice vermicelli noodles and a bed of crisp vegetables. Omg. One sip of the broth and I knew I was in for a wild freaking ride of deliciousness.

Service is amazing too! T took exceptional care of us and we had such a great visit.

Will have to come back soon to try the rest of the menu.

Bland, very bland. First time here since ownership changed. The restaurant is spruced up inside, it looks very nice. The woman at the counter was also very nice, and explained some of the changes. We ordered cream cheese rolls (cream cheese in a spring roll wrapper), General Tso's chicken, and Tam's beef & potatoes for a total of $37. The presentation was great - some of the veggies were cut in sun shapes which was a nice touch. But, every single thing had very little flavor. Even a forkful of just onions tasted like nothing. Fried rice tasted like plain white rice with some veggies thrown in. Nothing was gross, just flavorless. The texture of the meat, rice, and veggies was just right, but all in all it was a very blah meal for too high a price. Sadly won't be back.

Fine, but we wont be going back. Orange Chicken sauce was good but the crust on the chicken was soggy and the chicken itself was simultaneously overcooked and under-cooked depending on the bite. Beef and broccoli was middling. Broccoli wasn't fresh and overall tasted like they cant get the wok hot enough.

Read reviews and decided to try Red Moon. Very disappointed. Ordered hot & sour soup, it was loaded with sugar! Terrible. The homemade egg rolls were saturated with grease. The spicy basil w/ shrimp was edible only because the veggies were fresh, the shrimp was properly cooked and did not taste frozen, but it was very bland. Not spicy and barely basil. Typical Minnesota bland food. Have tried many Asian restuarants in Eden Prairie, and it is unfortunate that all are mediocre at best.

I have been loyal to Red Moon for almost 20 years, and grew to love the traditional chow mein and sesame chicken! The new owners have definitely classed it up a notch with lovely table clothes (so hard to find any restaurants with table clothes) fresh flowers, and amazing personal service. We have gone three times under the new ownership and the food is always fresh, healthful, and nicely portioned. The staff has always been knowledgeable and courteous and so friendly and happy! The new chow mein is a bit different BUT good and tasty--and obviously more healthful than the prior, takes a little adjustment but worth it! We also love the light and crispy egg rolls and fish sauce! Thank you!!

Unfortunately, we also enjoyed previous recipes and ingredients and have found the new owner’s cooking just has not lived up to the previous. We’ve ordered twice and found the food bland and dry. Tonight we also did not receive 2 rice sides. The new menu options would be amazing - we love Thai, Vietnamese, etc. but we’ve just been so disappointed with the classics, we have not ventured beyond. We really wanted to like it, but just not happening. We miss the classic wontons, saucy Mongolian beef, yummy orange and sesame chicken, etc.

Amazing! Hit it out of the park! I was craving chow mein of my childhood. Just as I remembered. The egg rolls outstanding- great price and they included the fish sauce. Had the pho too and the house special with peanut sauce (the least outstanding but had major vegetable and lots of real chicken). Love the ability to spice as desired. Since Covid and this was a big buffet restaurant at first I thought maybe that was the problem- I’ve now ordered out 3x from here and they can’t even follow the recipes on their own menu.
When Kung pao tastes like a bland chicken & veggie broth with peanuts and orange chicken is served with mushrooms and broccoli and soggy and not spicy....
they even changed the cream cheese wontons and the dipping sauces

Buy frozen egg rolls from cub - they are better than these.

This place has seriously gone down hill. We just finished dining and were in/out within 5 minutes of arrival. Not once were we asked how the food was and no suspicion was raised with our quick departure.

The food was terrible. Out of the 8 dishes we sampled from the buffet only the lo mein noodles were edible. Everything else had a weird after taste of either metal or char. Just bad.

I wanna give it a 3 star but there really is a lack of decent Chinese restaurants. Relative to what else is out there nearby this place is better than average but not anything amazing either.

I have been a customer since 2005. My favorite dishes are the hot pepper chicken with extra spice (they add jalapenos with the seeds still in them), chicken fried rice, egg rolls & cream cheese puffs.

Called earlier in the day to see if the buffet would be open because my family had a get together. On the phone they said it would be open. However, when we arrived they said the buffet was closed for the day. It was a tradition for our family. So, we googled chinese buffets and found the Hibachi buffet. I would reccomend the Hibachi Buffet they had a large selection, good service, and is about a dollar less for the buffet.

This is one of our favorite spots! The chicken fried rice is the best I’ve ever had and the hot pepper chicken is delicious!

First time there, would not go back. Food was okay tasting, not fantastic, but the dish I got to go looked old and overcooked. Also just a few hours after eating much of it my stomach is cramping and I'm having "bathroom issues". Not surprised that the dining room had no one in it at about 5:30 on a Wednesday night.
