FOOD QUALITY👍: We ordered Satay Chicken, Basil Fried Rice, Pad See Ewe, and Shrimp Chips. The Satay Chicken was well-seasoned, and the Basil Fried Rice was flavorful with just the right spice level. In summary, Best Thai Cuisine in Troy provides a wonderful dining experience with authentic Thai dishes, great service, and a welcoming atmosphere. Whether you’re a fan of Basil Fried Rice or craving Pad See Ewe, this spot is highly recommended for lovers of Thai food.
Server was attentive and atmosphere was calm and comfortable. Overall, the food was decent but nothing special. They do take extra measures to ensure carry out items actually make it to your home (using cardboard to separate items to avoid spilling) and that is very nice. I got Tom Yum soup, which was good. Red curry dish was also very good. Teriyaki chicken was just okay. The food was very oily. I would come back if I was in the area but would not specifically return to this place otherwise.
The food is good. The C2 Green Curry has a good blend of subtle flavor. The S1 Tom Yum is good, but I prefer stronger taste in the soup.
They play relaxing piano music in the restaurant. It magically makes the large dining hall sentimental. There was only one server in the dinner time. She was knowledgeable and courteous.
I would visit it again.
My wife and I had lunch at this restaurant and were blown away by flavor and how awesome the food tasted. The Pad Thai had a very pleasant unique flavor and the curry was great. Presentation and taste of the Tofu and eggplant dish was also great. We are happy to have tried it and would definitely be adding this restaurant to our list of good finds.
The experience was thoroughly enjoyable, with excellent service (though there was only one other table being served), and fantastic, authentic food. It was the best Thai I’ve had outside Thailand. Compliments to the chef, who excelled at every one of the 6 different dishes we ordered. The server was attentive and sweet, and management was involved to make sure we were well taken care of. We’ll gladly travel to come back here. Keep up the wonderful job!!
Best Thai Cuisine Troy has been open about 5 months. The food is delicious and authentic. We enjoyed Curry puffs, and two main-course dishes. Pineapple Basil Thai Curry was very tasty- not too sweet, and the Rad Nar noodle dish was savory with a very nice gravy. The portions were huge. The service was great- attentive and polite.
Honestly surprised this place has such a high rating... Second time trying them for Pad Thai (to-go) and have been thoroughly unimpressed another time. The whole dish is extremely dry and lacking flavor, little black flakes on everything that looks like it came from a burnt/dirty pan. The chicken was decently tender which is the only positive I have. Wanted to love this place because their price is excellent compared to my regular place but you get what you pay for, I guess.
Did was good. Waitress was great. But good God there was only one other table and it tile 75 minutes to get food!
Too oily but quantity was great
This place was fantastic! Polite, friendly, clean and delicious. Drove from Ferndale to try a new place and I will definitely be back for dine in and carry out. The spice was perfect! Food was very flavorful.
Update to the review below: the only critique I have is that the premises need some work. It's a tad chilly inside and the interior could use painting, updated decorations, the service area in the back should be attended to (a curtain put up?). In general, the atmosphere could use a little warming up a bit. Add hot coffee to the menu and of course beer/wine, and I would expect the place to suddenly be hopping.
Very nice Thai food, with some Chinese / Chinese-American & Vietnamese (pho) entries. Had a great vegetarian curry with coconut sauce: it was extremely flavorful, all the vegetables cooked to perfection, just slightly crunchy. If you like sweet and sour, this is the place for you, too, lots of vegetables, pineapple, a good sauce that isn't overly syrupy, more tomato-ey. Lots of options for meats or you can get with just veggies or tofu. Scrumptuous Pad Thai (the curry can be spicy hot as it should be so let your server know what you want). All the classics are there, too Masaman, Tom yum, etc. Excellent tapioca dessert & I've heard the mango is great. I tried the Tom Khaa soup (coconut milk rather than tomato based like the other Tom soup) ...with tofu, it has a sweetness and very good flavor. Quiet, clean, pleasant atmosphere. Excellent service. No alcohol yet, but I hear they may have a license soon. A fantastic find.
UPDATE: the interior could use a facelift! A little paint, covering up the equipment in the back, cleaning and changing the decorations could go a long way.
Food was pretty good.
I had beef peanut butter Curry.
This place is very authentic and very tasty! The Pad Thai Curry Noodle was a personal favorite. Tom Yum was phenomenal. Will visit again!

Best Thai is as authentic and amazing as you are going to find. Service, quality, and the dishes are A+. Look no further - eat there.

The foods here are Amazing! The service is very good. The atmosphere is ok, very spacious, clean, and warm, unlike many small Thai restaurants. Overall fantastic!
The Tom Yum soup was among the best I have had. Service was friendly and the food was good.
Excellent Thai food & service. Had Tom Khaa & Wonton soups, Pad Thai & Pad See Ewe and Thai Ice Tea. Definitely going back!! Highly Recommend!!
I’ve ordered takeout from Best Thai Cuisine three times over the past six months, and unfortunately, my experience has been disappointing.
The basil fried rice was dry and had an overpowering fish oil smell, with barely any vegetables. It was lacking the fresh, fragrant taste I expect from Thai fried rice. The Tom Yum soup also fell short—it didn’t have the classic tangy, spicy flavor but instead tasted like powdered spices and fish oil mixed into boiling water. It wasn’t the authentic, flavorful experience I was hoping for.
I wouldn’t go back.
We recently discovered this place. The food is a step above any other that we have ever had. My husband loves thai food so we have had our fair share of trying different restaurants. We don’t even live in Troy and we will sometimes go out of our way to pick up food from here. The food is full of flavor and zest. Keep up the good work!
Best Thai around, prices and servings are reasonable, everything we’ve tried has great depth to flavor

They weren’t bluffing, best Thai in the area! Fasai the server does a great job keeping it all running smoothly.

Outstanding food and great service!
We were at a local park and stopped here because the high ratings and we were blown away! Best crab rangoon we have ever had (dont let the irregular shape throw you off). The Thai tea was so different, super sweet. Had the Red Curry and thei Massaman Curry. Both dishes were incredibly good. Nice portions, we had enough for lunch the day. Waitress was super friendly and the place is bright and clean. Looking forward to being in the area again and will definitely be back.
Delicious! Definitely highly recommend! .
Best Thai is in my top 3 favorite meals and my girlfriend’s favorite. The food here is always amazing and the portion sizes are great. We haven’t dined in but always get takeout out pretty frequently and love it every single time. We even go a tiny bit out of our way to go here as there are other closer Thai restaurants to us. After living in the area for the last five years, I’ve been to three or four other Thai restaurants in the general area and none have stuck like this place. Absolutely amazing always! Thank you for always being the best!!!
Wonderful service from the staff and the food was excellent. The menu is huge, they got the spice level perfect for what I wanted, and I am in and out in under 25 minutes every time I’ve been here. I would highly recommend.
Food was exquisite. I never thought of saying “high cuisine” and “American Thai food” in the same sentence, but I had to today. The waitress was nicer than most, fast and attentive.
I had the honey chicken with medium spice and a side of fried rice, minus peas and carrots.
The fried rice tastes great and looks fresh. The breading on the chicken is very light and tasty.
There is friendly staff with a clean dining area.
I would definitely recommend!
I ordered honey chicken and rice. The cost to portion size was incredibly small. Food was okay at best, but I probably won’t come back solely based off of the cost of the little food I got.
Awesome little place with delicious Thai food! Try the Mango sweet Rice for desert.
We have ordered take out a couple times from here now. I forgot about this place until we ordered again last night. Food is great, a lot better than some of the local "been there forever" places. It's the little extras that we appreciate. Always a lime and peanuts (where most places just omit those now). What stood out to me was the little hole torn in the Crab Rangoon box so they wouldn't steam up and get gross. They stayed nice and crispy until we finished the meal.
Super nice staff, huge portions, reasonable prices and authentic flavors! Loved it!:)
Definitely not authentic Thai food. It was more like Chinese food trying to pass as Thai cuisine. The food was not bad but I will never go back.
Most Thai places are just average. Not this one. It really deserves a 5 star rating. Really flavorful and they don't skimp on the protein.
Although I don't have photos to share, I am going to share my wonderful experience anyway. I ordered the tofu and eggplant, and the server and cooks honored my request. Like an anime girl who is excited to get delicious food, I could not wait to sink my teeth into the panang curry-flavored tofu and eggplant. It was an experience that is out of this world!
The server in particular was very attentive. When asked if there is anything else I would like, I asked her after a few minutes if I could request Korean pop (K-POP) music videos without sound could be played next time if it is not crowded, and she said yes. So next time I will ask if they can play Blackpink!
This restaurant has become our go to Thai restaurant. The WonTon soup is so delicious. The broth is so flavorful and the wonton are completely filled with meat. The Pad Thai is outstanding and portions are very generous. The Hawaiian fried rice is very tasty and the added cashews provide a nice crunch. The Pad Me Sua is also a favorite.
The waitstaff are very friendly and knowledgeable and the restaurant itself is very comfortable and very clean.
We have become regulars and you will too!
The atmosphere of the establishment is attractive and roomy, and the location was convenient with plenty of parking. The menu selections were pretty standard for a restaurant of this type. The Sweet and Sour Pork was great, with plenty of un-breaded pork, vegetables and sauce mixed in. The Pudthai entree, however, was not as tasty as most other like restaurants in the vicinity. We were charged a $1.00 for a slice of lime to include with the take-home portion of our meal.
Really love this spot. Excellent service and food
Fantastic pad Thai! Really good place with great food
Perfect
The food is good. The C2 Green Curry has a good blend of subtle flavor. The S1 Tom Yum is good, but I prefer stronger taste in the soup.

So good!!!!!!
This is THE BEST Thai cuisine I've ever had! The service is amazing!

Just come order from here. You won’t regret it, food was amazing. Chicken was crispy 20 min after getting home and was in sauce. Good flavor, good fruit and veg ratio to the chicken. Loved the colored booths and the service was awesome :)
We just discovered this new restaurant, and we love it. Servings are large, and if you order meat in your dish, it's added generously. . The food tastes very good. The place is clean and cute. The feeling is friendly and laid back
Had the crab Rangoon, beef pad Thai, curry pad Thai and coconut sticky rice 10/10
Great food and great service
Okay - if you call yourself “Best Thai” - these folks deliver.
I visited first time and was blown away by their pad Thai. It’s now replaced a place in auburn hills as my favourite. Best I’ve had in Michigan, by a big step. It’s saucy, a little sweet - the only thing it’s missing is the flavour from being cooked in an alley in Bangkok. I had them make it with beef and added vegetables, and there was a nice chunk of fresh veg in there. For lunch, it’s only ten bucks! I didn’t write a review because I wanted another visit.
Tonight, we had catfish pad pak, apple salad, swimming duck, and som tam. It was all equally as good. And want it hot? They’ll make it hot. The only thing not good tonight was the spring rolls - it was basically lettuce in rice paper wrapper. However, the coconut hoisin sauce was out of this world, so I guess it balanced it out? Usually there’s some tofu or shrimp or something in there, but not tonight. I guess I should have read the description more carefully!
They’re sweet and lovely people. And they make fantastic food. Their decor is sparse, so I’m not inclined to eat in - but damn, I’ve found a new best Thai restaurant.
The food is really really good. I got the beef pad Thai, medium+. Great flavor, great portions. Definitely coming back.
Delicious food ❤️❤️ I really like it.
I will come back again ✨✨
Ordered food here and I miss Thailand
So many delicious food and nice service 😊
I’m gonna return soon !🥰
อาหารอร่อย บรรยากาศดี บริการประทับใจค่ะ
Finally found a decent thai place around here. I doubt a solid 5 exists anymore, but this is a solid 4. Hopefully it wasn't a fluke. Keep up the good work, Best Thai. Veggie red curry medium heat was awesome. Great flavors. Tom khaa w/ chicken was very good. The chicken was just ok. Summer rolls are big and fresh, but missing cilantro.
Very good delicous food, very good view and very good serve and take care customers.
delicious💯
I ordered Tom khaa, Tom-yam, Som tam really yummy.❤️
Best Thai I've had in a while! The Tom Khaa, wonton soup, spring rolls, Pad Thai, Panang curry, and combination fried rice were all excellent.
Went to Kroger for groceries but was too tired to cook. Stopped by for fried rice, pad thai and rangoons. First impression the food tastes fresh and clean. Even the fried rangoons taste about as fresh as you can get. Huge portion sizes, amazing flavor, had beef and it was good quality and friendly staff. Def. My bew favorite thai restaurant.
Atmosphere was great and cozy at night! Food is great as well! I had honey chicken it was nice and tasty!
Good foods and service. Foods are not too salty like other Thai restaurant. Will be back
This place is a gem! Everything was delicious, ready quickly, friendly service, and super convenient location. Will definitely return!
Possibly the best Pad Thai we've had in Michigan. Perfect noodles, delicious sauce, and the beef was not only the most generous portion I've ever received in a Pad Thai dish but extremely soft and tender.
As another reviewer noted, the mango rice dessert is a must-have too.
Check this place out you won't be disappointed!
Tried this new place since it was rated well. Unfortunately it was disappointing. Ordered pad thai (shrimp and chicken), which lacked flavor and was dry. A couple of burnt pieces in the chicken pad thai. Would not recommend to a friend.
I really want to give this place five stars. The pad thai was as the name says, one of the best I've probably ever had. My order was ready on time however the online ordering system misrepresents the prices of their dishes. For example: Pad Thai is listed at $14 but when you select it, it tries to charge you $19. The system immediately tries to upcharge you for Jasmine rice and to add additional chicken to your dish. Kind of a dishonest sales tactic if you ask me. If I want extras I can select them. I shouldn't have to deselect the add-ons that the menu decides I should have. Fix your online ordering system so I can update this review to five stars.

We found our new Thai restaurant! Best Thai Iced Tea I’ve had in years.
Order takeout from this place, and the food was amazing. Would highly recommend the Pad Thai.
Amazing food, very friendly staff. Will come back to try the rest of the menu. 10/10!
We had the traditional fried rice, Honey chicken and the Sesame chicken and everything was exquisite!!!
This will be our new Thai favorite place!
This is going to be my new flavors restaurant !! Tried their carry out first time was so good very friendly staff !! Will come back for dining in with my families great job guys 👍👍👍
Enjoyed spring rolls, hot-n-sour soup and combination fried rice. The food was delicious and the waitress was polite and inviting. Highly recommend!!
The take out is fast and the food is
sooo good. This is my favorite restaurant right now.
This place has amazing Thai food! We got red curry, wonton and roasted pork noodle soup, som tum and sticky rice and Thai tea… They all are delicious! Highly recommend!!!
Great food and service. Got their Hawaiian snapper and crispy duck tamarine sauce.
Everything was amazing! They are really nice. We had a great time. We will be back.
We ordered take out. The food was delicious and the staff was friendly. We will be back again soon.
Everything was amazing, the food was super delicious!! We want to go again for try other options. The drink is the Thai Ice Tea, I loved! And everyone there was so kind and helpful. We really liked our experience there.
