I never write reviews but I felt the need to for here. The service was amazing, we were nicely checked on and greeted by the staff and were treated great. The food was yummy though the edamame was pretty salty. The atmosphere was calm other than the entry door closing a little aggressively as people went through. Overall it was great!
First time visiting here. I got a coupon in the mail and decided to check it out as we didn’t want to cook. I looked at the online ordering but could see how to apply any coupons so I decided to just go and order in-person. There was no body at that time eating inside. But there seemed to be a ton of takeout stuff to go.
I ordered and expected to wait a bit to get it but it only took about five minutes to get my food. I thought that was pretty fast. The staff was ok and seemed in-different.
There is free parking in the lot in the strip center. I’ll go back and use the other coupons for a discount and free stuff. I got some free rangoons this time with the coupon.
The food tasted good and was a nice portion.
Very bad experience with this restaurant. Crispy noodles were undercooked and hard, sitting in basically soy sauce, vegetables were undercooked, hot and sour soup was watery , a few tiny pcs of tofu or veg in it, rice was mushy, Eggroll was soggy with grease. They weren't even trying. I asked for a refund and offered to return all the food, William said no need, he would have the manager refund me the money, but I haven't seen a credit on my crcd since the purchase on July 5th.
False advertisement. Crab wontons actually have no crab….weird. I called up there to inquire YSS crab when there is actually no crap in there and they replied that it’s just a generic name. That’s a bit of a stretch. I definitely would not have ordered them if there was no crab.
👎🏾👎🏾🤮
This Spicy Ramen with Tofu is disgusting!!! No flavor whatsoever. The tofu tasted bland. They must have taken a broccoli 🥦 floret and sliced it to 3 pieces because all I had to eat was the 2 sliced pieces; and there was, literally, 1 sliced sliver of carrot, and no bean sprouts.
I wish I lived close enough to take it back tonight. I should have known how the food would be when I walked into the restaurant and it didn't have the aroma of good food cooking. This place was like this many years ago, and I haven't been back until now - I thought that things may have changed because how could have they survived cooking tasteless food?
When I called back to request a refund, Chris J. says he could only remake the dish, or offer me a 20% discount 🤔. I asked for the manager's name, and to speak to the manager, but was told the manager may not be back until 11:30 pm and that the manager's name is Chris, but he doesn't know his manager's last name or initial.
Notice how dry my dish looks compared to the other posts; and they want me to order that same dish again?!! At this point, I have No Trust in this business.
If I don't get my refund within the next 24 hrs, I will be taking this to the next level.
Great spot! Very well-priced, good food, great service. Plays soft instrumental music instead of pop like everywhere else. Wonderful overall.
The front door slams hard, though, needs a slowing mechanism fixed.
I love the hot and sour soup.... And I loved the spring rolls and the rangoons! The staff are quick to greet you with a cheerful smile.
I would recommend bamboo bistro, especially if it's late night after midnight and you're hungry! 😊
I’ve passed by this restaurant numerous times, but finally decided to try it out. Food and staff were amazing. We ordered the jalapeño beef fried rice, Mongolian tofu with white rice, kids chicken lo mein, and kids chicken fried rice. We also decided to get a large egg drop soup to share. The portions are well sized and ended up with enough left overs to have dinner at home. The large egg drop soup was tasty and more than enough for the four of us to share. The jalapeño beef fried rice was tasty and not overwhelmingly spicy and had plenty of beef. The Mongolian tofu with white rice was flavorful, tofu was crisp, and was plated nicely. The kids dishes were really tasty and the kids enjoyed them. The staff was friendly and professional. Since we ordered water, the staff provided clean cups and a large pitcher of cold water for our table so we didn’t have to keep getting up to get refills. They helped us get everything packed as well and were friendly.
I picked up mei meis kitchen food from here, Pathetic, chicken raw, noodles doughy, tastes don't mix, rice hard.
We love eating here. Great food staff is always really nice!

The Lomein was sweet, not sure why. Kung Pow shrimp was ok. The sesame chicken was the most tasty. The miso soup wasn’t very flavorful. I might try again not sure
Food is yummy and as a night shift nurse, i get hungry around midnight, I love that they stay open till 2am.
Great spot! Very well-priced, good food, great service. Plays soft instrumental music instead of pop like everywhere else. Wonderful overall.

Ordered online, for Delivery...........
placed my order at 7:11 PM, and included a generous tip (25% instead of 15%). The website indicated 45 minutes to deliver.
So, 7:56 PM, correct? The website estimated 8:00 PM.
I called at 8:23 PM and asked, "where is my order?"
"it will be there in 15 minutes", "so sorry". (8:48 PM)
Finally arrived at 8:39 PM...(9 minutes early, woo-hoo!)
Yea, I'm "so sorry" too.... next time, I'll try Panda Express!!!
We came for Christmas Eve with our kids. They charged 20% because he took his sweet time putting order in after 10 at at 10 it charges a 20% fee even though we got there before at 9:30. We then got charged gratuity of 20% even though he never refilled drinks or helped. He was not friendly either. It cost 87.00 for 4 meals and they were only decent. Crazy.
I love the hot and sour soup.... And I loved the spring rolls and the rangoons! The staff are quick to greet you with a cheerful smile.
I would recommend bamboo bistro, especially if it's late night after midnight and you're hungry! 😊
We put in our order and 10 minutes later wrnt to go pick it up and of course it was already packaged and ready to go. Delicious!
The food and service were great. Plus, they're open late!
False advertisement. Crab wontons actually have no crab….weird. I called up there to inquire YSS crab when there is actually no crap in there and they replied that it’s just a generic name. That’s a bit of a stretch. I definitely would not have ordered them if there was no crab.
Just had the crispy fried noodles with all three meats, it was so good. Great food a lot of food and I will be returning!
The business is located at the Stonehill shopping area.
Picking from the menu is a multi step process - 1) pick a protein : veggies, tofu, chicken, beef, shrimp, or combo, b) pick your sauce (or flavor), c) pick your carbs (or substitute) : steamed, fried, brown rice, or chopped lettuce, etc.
Note - there seemed to be no pork offerings in their menu.
They offer egg rolls in odd quantities - either a 1- or 3-piece order, and cant accommodate variations of the quantity - like made the order to be 2- or 4- counts.
For two orders of combination meals and 2 orders of 3-piece egg rolls and water, came to $40 (tax included).
Patron beware. Myself and 3 friends came in at 11pm and were the only customers. It was uncomfortably hot to the point we were sweating before even getting food. Everyone said their food was good, but my Tom Yam soup had an odd flavor and smell to it - almost fishy and/or rotten. Unfortunately, I'm unsure what the dish is supposed to taste like, so hopefully I'm OK tomorrow.
There was a lot of unnecessary confusion around our tickets, how they were split (two ways from two couples), and who got charged for what. I also asked before ordering if "Step 3" which consists of picking your rice or noodles was for both sections of the menu and was told yes. Upon checkout I was charged $2.99 for the fried rice (the menu has it priced at $1.99.) and that it was not a part of the dish I ordered.
There is also a forced gratuity of TWENTY percent after 10pm? I guess it becomes more difficult or expensive to make food after then? Most people are not a fan of when businesses do this, and for me, it always prompts a $0 tip to the server along with no more return visits.
Overall dissatisfied with the visit and food and will not be rushing back.
Honey Glazed Shrimp is wonderful!
AWFUL!! Ugh, we just spent $60 on dinner for two and both of has had inedible meals and an inedible appetizer. combo fried rice, general tso and crab wontons all taste burnt. the general tso had a weird taste i have never tasted this before, def NOT generall tso!!!. i have not eaten all day ane am starving and its still not good at all! absolutely disgusting. We will NOT be back. should have gone with Bo Asian!!
There's a reason on a Friday night my party were the only ones in there.
I've had authentic Pad Thai, several times. And this was not good. Dry, barely any nice sauce and Bland
Great late night spot for some pot stickers and lo mein.
Love this place so much! The food is delicious and they stay open late!
The people are always very kind here. The food comes out quick. And most importantly the food is fantastic. I am obsessed with the General Tsp's. The batter is just right, not too crunchy or soggy. I highly recommend this place as the go to place for Chinese food. They also serve other Asian fusion dishes.
Without many Chinese options around this must do. I think they use an air fryer instead of a deep fryer. It's probably healthier, but healthy doesn't always taste better.
Wow !! stemmed vegetables brown rice and the pad Thai was perfect 👌🏽
We received a coupon and decided to give this location a whirl. However, upon arrival the location was not as appealing due to the filthy windows. But! When entered, the atmosphere was a change for the better. The staff are extremely pleasant, and the food was excellent! Plate dressing was quite nice.
Don't be frightened by its initial appearance. Give this location a whirl. The window cleaning will go a long way.
Ordered general tso beef with noodles, and Rangoon. The rangoon was burnt. The noodles were one undercooked, congested mess....Now the General Tso...it can't be possible to overcook and dry out meat that bad. How in the world can a business keep cooks working that are that bad. I would not trust them to heat up a hot pocket in a microwave. They actually broke the record for the worst chinese food, and possibly any food I have had, and I am over 50 years old. What's more is having the nerve to charge money for that garbage. My advice is stay away from this place. You cab get better food from a frozen dinner. Disgusting beyond words.
They must have been having an off night. I ordered Mongolian chicken and it was awful. I wonder if it had been frozen. Broccoli and chicken were tough and dry, sauce had no flavor except a slight sweetness. No carrots visible yet there were supposed to be. Rice was old and dried-out. Whole dish was an ugly brownish-green.
I got the wonton soup twice since I’ve been under the weather and it was soooo refreshing! It got the job done and the food was great
Some of you may like this place but not everyone's going too. I am not able to eat gluten so I'm always on the look out for good Asian food that I don't have to cook. I can make it at home and very tasty I might add. I just don't always want to have to prep and set up the outdoor wok To make it at home. I was disappointed in the flavor. It was very bland and the sauce was very watery. It's extremely easy to thicken brown sauce with arrowroot and or cornstarch if you can have corn. I had to drive a distance to try it and sad to say I will not make that trip again. I was very disappointed that Mama fu's closed down they were my go-to place and this place took their location. My search continues...
Ordered for pick up and was not informed that there is an extra charge for late night pickup. First time in my life i hear about that. Felt like i was paying for waking someone up to make my food. If a restaurant is not willing to serve customers after 10pm they should update their hours and close at 10 instead of advertising that they are open until 3:30am.
👎🏾👎🏾🤮

The food is extremely spicy , so spicy that my stomach hurt ! On top of that the quality is worst .and they charge 20% more after 10PM , ridiculous ! Never recommend
Ordered Kung Pao mix veg. It was tasteless. The veggies were raw.
Pretty empty food was average. Bonus they stay open pretty late and a understandable 18% gratuity is automatically added. The business Mei Mei is also located here. (Same business I think). Also the after 2am menu is difficult
Smells weird. No late night dine-in, but it beats late night fast food.
John was very nice! It was my first time here he explained the menu. He insisted I tried the food before I left since I ordered togo. Omg!!!! The glazed chicken is delicious with lots of flavor and crispy and can't wait to get home to try the wonton! You CANT get better food this late! I'll definitely be back! Thanks John!
Great restaurant; they always make the food quickly and it’s super tasty. Definitely recommend

Solid food. Prices are rising a little too much for my liking, but they always have the food ready when I order ahead, so I stay a loyal customer.
This really is a top choice for Asian food. I always get the Chicken Red Curry with steamed rice ... it is hot and you may not be able to finish in one go. There are many other choices and the coconut ice tea is a special treat. Tony will take care of you. I used to go to the one opposite IBM but now visit the Pflugerville location.
This has been my go-to restaurant for Asian food (mostly, I have Chinese, but the Thai is good too) for awhile now. I've only ever picked up to go, but I highly recommend it!
Based on their on line ordering, they want to charge me $2.00 extra to make some thing vegan. Their note says their vegan dishes are replaced by a “vegetable sauce”. If I’m not getting meat (an expense) and the sauce they’re already using is just being replaced by a different sauce (an even swap) then why the heck do I need to pay $2.00 extra?! Boycotting this restaurant just for this reason.
This food is trash. There are other way less expensive places that seem to care more about the quality and taste of their food I would highly recommend somewhere else. Even panda express would be better quality and cheaper than this "restaurant ".
Boy of Hispanic origin, he verbally attacks me without any sense, I asked him about the menu and he ignored me, he continued with the phone, a hood on, besides he didn't want to help me, I hate taking a photo of him to come here 04-02-24 the boy works For Westgate headquarters, reputation precedes them.
I recently stopped by last week to get some food here. I should’ve read more reviews though 🤦♂️….Anyways I got the lo mein noodles with chicken and shrimp, it was ok but man did my stomach hurt for days and painful with a lot of diareah. Never will I go back and I do no recommend this place.
🤢👎👎👎👎
Ordered here and my food didn’t come, waited thirty minutes for them to cancel my order. When I called them they couldn’t even answer their phone so I could ask why nor did they contact me before canceling my order.
Giving this five stars for the food. I’m glad I tried the place a couple of times before I looked at the reviews because I’m not sure I would have!
My first time a Bamboo was just circumstance because I was dying for an egg roll and they were close (Panda Express wasn’t going to cut it).
I found it odd they don’t last prices (I still do), but decided to get the chicken egg roll and tempura shrimp.
Not expecting much I was pleasantly surprised by the great flavor and crunchy texture of both dishes.
I decided to try them again today and taste how they prepared other dishes and after today I’m sure I’ll be back often.
For the record, I’m doing the fired pot stickers, teriyaki chicken and broccoli, sides salad with Asian Ginger sauce, and honey shrimp to the list of winner dishes.
The food is pretty good here. I'll be honest, though, the last couple of times I've gone my egg rolls and wontons tasted a little... old. Like they were sitting around for a while. This isn't always the case, but I think next time I'll ask for fresh ones.
I personally love the thai basil fried rice. It's great. The same goes for the lo mein.
Service is fast. I like to order online, which is always ready when I get there. However, order there in person only takes about 5 minutes to receive your meal. Friendly staff, clean building, but too bright, not too dark.
I come here often and the food is decent and the service is always good and fast. I highly recommend the jalapeno wontons. I would definitely go out of my way for those!!!
They overcharged me on my order online and I don't think ppl are aware.
Eaten at this establishment multiple times and don't have a complaint. You order at the counter and they bring you your food at the table.
First timers. We had the spicy Bangkok beef (supposed to be chicken but didn't bother me it was wrong) noodles-delicious not that spicy for someone that eats SPICY. Mt Fuji chicken with fried rice was excellent, my partner said how good the spinach and asparagus was and I agree. Jalapeno cheese ragoons were great expect I tasted no jalapeno flavor. Both the "duck" sauce and chili oil were great to go along with it as well
We were the only ones here. Super fast. Very polite staff.
Atmosphere hopefully they improve. The locations of the tvs don't allow you to really view them.
Menus were a little confusing with the step 2 on sauce choice.
Seating: room for two large groups looking extra cozy, 4.5 booths and 4 2 seater round tables.
The food and meat taste is really horrible, this place is not clean. $7 late-night fees on top of your bill. Very bad experience.
This place is not clean. Worst experience. No price on the menu which is weird. They charged $7 for late-night fees. We are group of people and ordered 10+ different items. they served all items within 10 mins.. All the different fried rice we ordered are same taste. The food is not enough hot and the taste is really worst. All the meats are really old and tasteless. I never visit this place again.
I used to love this place. Unfortunately, I have to say that the taste and quality of the ingredients have really gone downhill. Recently, while dining in with my Mom, we encountered a small cockroach on our plate which was incredibly shocking and disturbing. My Mom was almost sickened by it. The staff was apologetic, but they only refunded me for my Mom's meal. It would have been more appropriate for them to refund the entire order, which included 2 plates and 2 drinks.
Despite this incident, I decided to give them a second chance today by placing a to-go order. However, I was truly disappointed. The lo mein was dry, the beef in the beef & broccoli was extremely chewy, and to make matters worse, my orange chicken was burnt and dry. Even my kids, who used to adore this place, couldn't finish their food.
It's really disheartening to see that the quality and taste have declined so significantly. I've made up my mind that I will not be returning to this place. Unfortunately, it's just not the same as it used to be.
I thought it was pricey at first, but then I sat down and ate the best Chinese food I've ever had.
The general tso chicken has the perfect crisp. Egg rolls were so good that my wife, who usually won't eat them, ate two.
Everything is six dollars more expensive than what is advertised online, I was charged an eight dollar late night management fee on top of the ridiculous price
Actually awful. Egg drop soup tasted weird, was watery, and was brown, they gave us spring rolls instead of egg rolls, the beef in the noodles was tough like beef jerky and the sauce was weird, sweet, just bad, dumplings are straight disgusting, like eating something that was thrown in the sink or left in the rain. Actually really bad food.
I went out to eat at bamboo bistro. LONG STORY SHORT there was a worm in my food. My kid is now throwing up the food we ate. Thank god we found the worm, if not we would’ve ate the whole plate without knowing. 0/10 would not recommend. Absolutely disgusting!!!
If you read no other review, read this one. I have been hesitant to try this place for some time despite working right down the road for the last 5 years. The reviews and comments made me feel like I could probably do better. However, after finally trying it, I can confidently say this place is fantastic. One of the things that concerned me was it seemed to be a little on the pricier side. I had the jalapeno pepper chicken with lo mein and an egg roll, coming out to roughly $22. After getting the meal though, the portion was huge. The chicken was served on a bed of spinach and green beans and was by far one of the best Chinese dishes I've ever eaten.
Cute place, very very good service, and the food was exactly what I’ve been looking for in the area. Can’t go wrong with Bamboo Bistro.
100/10 recommend
Absolutely awful experience.
1) Their menus DO NOT contain prices, so you must ask the cashier how much everything costs prior to ordering, which is idiotic and counterintuitive.
2) They charge a late night fee for orders placed during after hours, and the cashier chose to NOT TELL ME about this until I had finished deciding and was about to pay.
3) I receive my food, and instead of being on a plate, the chef assumed that I was ordering take out, so I ended up having to transfer all the contents onto an empty styrofoam tray while I was SITTING IN the restaurant, just so that I could eat what I ordered.
4) The restaurant had NO SPOONS, so I ended up having to eat my rice with a metal fork.
5) The food was stale, cold, and flavourless. I don't even consider myself a good cook, and would give my own cooking a 6/10, but the food here was a solid 0/10. The beef and veggies were dry and poorly seasoned, and the sauce was bland and lacking in spiciness.
6) The restaurant SMELLS BAD; I would describe the smell of the restaurant as similar to a poorly sanitised public toilet after it has been saturated with cleaning solution by a janitor.
A solid $15 down the drain when I struggle to make $18 an hour.
After leaving the restaurant, I needed something extra to make my stomach feel better, so I went to QT and brought some donut balls and an egg roll (yes, I got Asian food from a CONVENIENCE SHOP after dining at an Asian restaurant), and the taste was honestly so much better for only a fraction of the price.
Really fast service and nice that it’s open late!
The food is decent. The atmosphere is weird. It looks like a store front for drug dealers. The restaurant is dark and eerie. They have ONE white dude at the counter, and the rest of the employees are like Chinese or Southeast Asians. Various items and boxes are stacked behind the counter area. Not a good vibe.
Greate noodles.
Ordered on Uber eats, hot Szechuan shrimp, sesame chicken & wonton soup. Rice tastes like plastic, soup has zero flavor, shrimp is RAW & chicken is not good. 0/10.
I was looking for a Chinese food place that was open at 1:30am and ran across this place. I called in my order and the individual I spoke with was very nice and professional. He even asked how long it would be before I could make it there so that they could delay my order and make sure it was fresh and hot. He also made sure I knew where they were located. The customer service was even awesome when I got there to pick up my order and the food was delish! I has sesame chicken and crab wontons. I will definitely be ordering from here again and recommend you do too :)
I’m one of those that only write reviews for exceptionally good and bad places. This was exceptionally bad. The Mongolian beef had a strange bitter broccoli and was drowned in a soggy sauce soup that completely soaked the rice. The pad thai was watery and tasted hollow. I don’t know what the flavor was, but it wasn’t pad thai. And all for a steep price of $30 hard-earned dollars. Save your money and go to Panda Express.
The good part was that my food came out very quickly, so maybe this place can barely pass as acceptable if you’re really in a rush.
I love everything about this place! The employees are the absolute sweetest people ever and the food is so tasty!
We ordered spicy edamame, sriracha LoMein, Thai Red Curry, and Tom Kah noodle soup
The spicy edamame was powdered with salt and chili powder. I wish it was a sauce so the flavor can be mixed with the edamame instead of just on top.
The Sriracha Lo Mein was salty. A salty saucy Lo Mein.
The Thai Red curry was eh.. it wanted to be curry but not really there yet.
Saving the best for last..
The Tom Kah tasted awful.. no flavor. I can’t even describe the dish
Wouldn’t recommend if anyone is looking for good Asian food ..
Me and my girlfriend went here and i got the Singapore fried noodles and they were absolutely amazing, they had just the right amount of spice and they were cooked amazingly. My girlfriend got the general tso chicken and it is the best that either of us have ever had. We also had a thai tea which was amazing and we split the fried tofu. Overall the service was fast, the food was stellar and i love the atmosphere!! I will be coming back!!
This place is so good, came here with my boyfriend. I got general tsos chicken with fried rice on the side, fried tofu with peanut sauce and a Thai tea all for $24. Not only is is easy on the bank, it truly is very good food. My bf got the Singapore fried noodles with chicken, it was his favorite at our usual Asian restaurant but he said here it’s better. Also the service is great!! We will definitely be back
Ordered a plate of Mongolian chicken, didn’t know it had sesame seeds cause it doesn’t say it online. Plus It has never came with it before as this is all I order from here. So when I picked it up and saw I asked for a remake since I can’t have seeds due to a recent surgery, mind you I put no veggies. Upon the remake they doused it with so much pepper it was pretty much inedible. If they don’t want to remake just give the customers money back instead of messing with people’s food because you don’t know the kind of health issues people may have. I just got out of the hospital due to gut complications so the fact that this restaurant is petty like this just means I will find another place to do business with instead.
Delicious
excellent food, good location near shopping
Absolutely the worst food I’ve had this year, the chicken was smelly and old, the shrimp had a mysterious texture, the lo mein zero! Flavor, it was so smelly inside, weird vibes! Save your money and go to Panda Express!! DO NOT RECOMMEND IF I COULD GIVE IT 0 stars I would
Average tasting food .
Had lunch. Nice clean atmosphere, Not busy, good service. Hot sour soup great, great crab Rangoon . Chicken was a bit dry in teriyaki chicken & broccoli. No sweetener for tea.
***they now have sweetner and I just have to say BEST Hot & Sour soup, chicken egg rolls & crab Rangoon. Had a salad today; fresh crisp & the best Asian dressing. This is my fav lunch spot now!
Had the tuna salad, but it was mostly spinach they forgot the crispy noodles. I do have to say the tuna was good 👍
We order a steam bowl and chicken fried rice with a side of Jalapeno crab wontons. Everything tasted fresh and delicious. Customer service was great as well. Will definitely be back.
Great Asian food, friendly staff, can do dine in, take out, or delivery. Highly recommend all dishes!
the chicken egg rolls were amazing but i got the crispy noodle plate & it was bland & not full of flavor. pretty disappointed
Great service Everytime Ive been in here. Food is good as well! Even were able to do a gluten free option for my husband
Bland food!! Bad experience twice as they named themselves as mei’mei’s kitchen on doordash. Keep an eye out.
I never give reviews really but I had to I just ordered egg drop soup and pad Thai my pad thai was completely dry my egg drop soup it didn't have the little chips that came with it and it was bland I was totally not satisfied for a meal that I paid $20 for
Wow is all I have to say for this. I am writing because I believe that this place deserves way higher ratings. I came here with my mother yesterday for lunch and was blown away with how quickly we were served and how delicious the food was. We had several appetizers, spring rolls, shrimp tempura, and cream cheese wontons, and they were so yummy. I also ordered the orange peel chicken which was so crunchy and flavorful. We devoured it all and took home our entrée leftovers for later. It’s been really hard finding a good Chinese restaurant, but we’ve finally found one! We will definitely be coming back for more. Thank you!
Bamboo bistro has never done me wrong!! I go here quite frequently and am never disappointed. Huge portions and delicious food. Idk why It has a lower rating than all the local competitors because It definitely has outshone other Thai restaurants me and my partner have frequented. Get the chicken pad Thai!
This place should have at least 4.5 star avg. I’ve been here 10+ times and the chicken, pasta, tofu, and portion is always delicious. If you’re new to the area, try this place and go for:
Pad Thai with chick and tofu. It’s a HUGE portion and you get 2 proteins for like 15$ out the door. Larger portion than a chipotle bowl. I’d give 10 stars if I could !!!!!
Great food, large portions. Wasn't crowded and wonderful service. We'd go back.
I would give this place zero stars if I could. Truly one of the worst meals I’ve had in a while. I do not recommend.
Bamboo bistro never fails to be amazing. I love thier food and the staff. Always friendly and always delicious. Everything on the menu is perfect.
Delicious yum
1 entree, wonton soup and eggrolls. $39. It was horrible. 90% burnt. Too burnt to eat. I called and tried to talk to mgmt and they blamed uber eats for delivering burnt food. 🤔 Took zero accountability.
Bamboo Bistro can be hit or miss, but mostly hit. Every once in a while the chicken/beef will be a little overcooked and tough to chew but for the most part it's been really good. Nice to have a place that fills their rangoons with enough filling.
The employees are so kind it made me want to cry. Thank you, I was having a hard day.
Ordered via Uber eats. Spent like $50 after tip. AWFUL!! I’m so disappointed. My general tsos is dry and burnt. The broccoli tasted like dirty dish water. The rice was undercooked or maybe hard from overcooking, either way. My cream cheese puffs were undercooked and doughy in the middle. Overall, worst food ever.
I've had some delicious soup from Bamboo Bistro, but tonight's order wasn't nearly as good. The tempura shrimp were ok, but the crab wonton were so salty that I couldn't eat them. So disappointed.
Just bland and very greasy food. Shoukd have listened to reviews
Oh my. Recently I ate at Bamboo Bistro. What a find! I have lived in Pflugervile just over a year and think I've finally found my go-to Asian restaurant. I've been searching for a while.
I had the eggrolls for an appetizer. These are REAL and don't taste like thawed out frozen eggrolls with chewy rice paper found at most other Asian places. They are DELICIOUS - nicely browned and crispy on the outside with a full tasting filling on the inside. I could actually TASTE the chicken inside!
For the entree, I had the S&S chicken - my litmus test entree at any Asian restaurant. Again, REAL chicken is used! None of this unfrozen chicken breast cube stuff. The pieces vary in size (another sign of realness), were crispy and lightly battered, so the full flavor of the meat came through. Nice crunchy carrot, bell pepper, and onion. The sauce was smooth, creamy and plentiful. I savored every bite.
I will definitely be back to try a different entree.
Good prompt customer service too.
Go there. YUM.😁
Was not pleasedcwith our take put experience. I ordered the red curry with beef mixed veggies and white rice. I never got my rice, the curry was gritty and tasted very fishy. The egg rolls were mushy on the inside my wife ordered the beef pad thai, her meal did not taste like pad thai and was overly spicy. The only highlight was the crab rangoons
Love this place! They have great vegan options, and are helpful when ordering with dietary restrictions.
I literally ordered spicy ramen... and they gave me stir fry lmao and then said "oh you meant spicy ramen like the soup" the only good thing was the thai tea, and then again I had to ask multiple times for them to make it. Just go to Tjins at round rock instead.
Very racist company, I asked for silverware and they did not give any to me, they told me to eat with my hands ! I'm so disgusted with this place
Quick service
Read reviews and while there were some misses, it seemed like it was worth taking a chance. I hate being catfished with food! I dislike leaving negative reviews, but it was subpar. Yes, it’s edible, but bland at best. Super small portions. We ordered shrimp ramen, spicy ramen and the Mongolian beef. Left a lot to be desired. Doesn’t taste anything like it should or lack thereof altogether.
Got the Orange Chicken dish. Ask for extra spicy, did not get. Also chicken itself was very bland, had hardly any taste to it. Certainly was my favorite when at The Domain. Certainly no longer. Hope the William Cannon location is still good.
Was hesitant to try this restaurant but we were pleasantly surprised with our experience. The staff was friendly, food was served in a very timely basis and it was actually delicious! Nothing fancy at all but worth trying!
Can't wait to revisit this one!
I’ve been here about a half a dozen times and I can honestly say the food is always fast and hot and good! It’s a shame they don’t get more business. They are never pack, but hey. Better for me right?!
Staff nice. Food was good. Prices a little high. Confusing on how to order food. Limited selection
Great service and good food
Worst food ever. Just boiled vegetable in tasteless noodle or chicken. Not recommended at all.
Don't order here if you have a food allergy.
Ordered my meal for the first time through my company's Lunchdrop account and the order was messed up. Ordered the shrimp fried rice with the egg drop soup. Never received the soup but received a dry egg roll instead. Also the fortune cookie was stale.
Probably the worst Thai food I've had
My go to Chinese spot!
Food was okay. It can be better. I ordered red curry and basil fried rice. Red curry is full of carrots and after taste gives me ginger garlic taste in the mouth. The dishes are very different from the other thai restaurants i tried.
Placed an order to go online. Ordered the 3 veggie egg rolls for $4.95, the Sesame Chicken, and chicken fried rice. First, the egg rolls were tiny and the filling tasted like the veggies had been boiled and then mashed together. I buy better egg rolls at the grocery store in the frozen department. The Sesame Chicken had a good sauce, but the chicken was very dry, overcooked, and chewy. I could not eat it. I don't care for jerky.
The fried rice was tasteless, and the chicken was also dry and chewy. These were like chicken that had been sitting in a buffet all day long. I was very very disappointed. It's the first and last time that I order from this place. I haven't done a review in a long time, but I felt this needed to be said.
I thought the food was actually really tasty but I got food poisoning. Try at your own risk
Great food, great staff, and tons of menu options for everyone
Fantastic customer service. My friend and I went there earlier this evening, and her entree didn't meet her expectation of what she had in mind. She asked if she could replace it, and they gladly did. I was honestly a little embarrassed that she did that, but was very impressed at the service level. I know it's tough nowadays, and it cost them to do what they did and I can't appreciate that enough. I will be back, and thank you for valuing your service over your profit..
The owner is so rude and ask customer not to come . If there is half star I wud give that . It’s not worthy 1 star even .the owner or manager was so rude n pompous that he disrespect his costumers . I read other reviews too . And come to conclusion I was not over reacting. His food sucks and costumer service is worse than his food . I wud never recommend to dine or order from this restaurant.
Food had it's own unique twist on the traditional stuff. Pretty good
Very friendly staff, delicious food.
I ordered the honey glazed tofu with white rice & - 3pc veggie eggs rolls - you are forced to order an appetizer if you order via Doordash or Ubereats. I was eating when I noticed what I thought was a little black burnt piece. After picking it out onto the to go bag, I gagged at the sight of a small roach…… in my food!! The bag my food was in was tied tightly, and the food container was sealed shut. This definitely came from the restaurant & the insect was in the sealed container. I will never eat here again & am cooking at home from now on.
The food was ok, but the women’s restroom smelled worse than any outhouse I have ever used. I almost lost my lunch in there because of the smell. I would not go back simply because of the stench.
Super friendly staff. Very knowledgeable about gluten. Nearly the entire menu can be altered to be gluten free. Large portions. Delicious food.
Is this what Americans think Chinese food actually is? What a shame for representing food like that 偏偏本地人还算了这种餐厅这个年代还能开下去?
Amazing bistro.like coming to this cafe.very friendly and great to enjoy a break .
Food is delicious, portions are quite large, staff is so friendly and helpful. Personally recommend any bowl with the vermicelli, but any dish we had was great
Excellent fried rice and pad thai!
We were disappointed with the food, the egg rolls were under cooked and soggy on the inside. The entrée was over cooked and inedible. The brown sauce was not tasty, and the fried rice was not fresh. Perhaps it was an off day, but in retrospect, we wish we had read the reviews before wasting our time and money.
First time for my friend and I to dine at Bamboo Bistro. This location has been opened about a year and a half. You order at the counter for take out or dine in. We chose to review the menu at a table. The menu has something for everyone. We asked the Server what her recommendations. She picked everything perfectly and customized each plate to our tastes. Service was outstanding. The food was delicious and plentiful. My friend and I hadn't seen each since Covid started. We ended staying and visiting for almost 4 hours. Thank goodness they didn't rush out sooner. I highly recommend this place. 👌
A favorite lunch spot.
What a great new find! Went there today and tried the Chicken Bangkok Spicy Noodles. The dish was outstanding!! And, the portion size was substantial - way more than I could eat in 1 sitting. They have a large selection of dishes on the menu and I can't wait to go back and try some other dishes. Recommended!
Super excited to see that they relocated from Burnett instead of closing permanently. Great food and consistency!
