First time here, small little mom and pop place. Fresh hot food, flavorful, fair priced, friendly and fast service! Clean on the inside, not a huge sit down area but does have enough to cater to a few groups, looks to be more carry out! Ordered crab Rangoon, hot and sour soup, masaman, and curry fried rice, all very flavorful and fresh! Would Recommend and will be back myself!

Ordered from here quite a few times. The chicken pad Thai is always mid. It’s not great but it’s not inedible. Just mid. What keeps me coming back is the Koong Houm Pa! I cannot get enough of those little shrimp rolls!

The only thing was the large order of drunken noodles with chicken (17 orders), some of the noodles were mushy, overcooked, not cooked right. The other orders (15 orders of Kow Pad)(14 orders of crab ragoon) and 17 orders od spring rolls) were great 👍🏽. Everyone enjoyed the rest.

Why would you sell me old food? This chicken is so hard to chew its like leather.

Ordered fried rice, Tom yum and lettuce wraps. Rice had no seasoning + chicken in the rice tasted spoiled. Tom yum was good and lettuce wraps lacked any veggies, just minced meat and sauce. Wouldn’t come back.

Just ordered the pad sew and im disappointed I spent $15. The sauce was water and lacking the flavor I’m used to getting with pad sew. If your looking for the best Thai around check out Ferndale!

Ordered through uber eats, awful pad see ew! For some reason it was super soupy, no flavor, the chicken had a weird smell. Never again.

I found about this place from picking up an order for DoorDash. The service was friendly and welcoming, so I made a mental note to come back. I ordered the Pad Woo Sen and it was delicious. The service was fast! I appreciate businesses that treat everyone that walks in the door with respect and service.

Wan was so kind and gave us great meal recommendations! The Thai salad is EXCELLENT we’re looking forward to visiting again soon.

I am a very Pleased customer of Bangkok Cuisine, the food is always SPOT ON :) any dish that I have tried other then my normal order, has never failed to be Spectacular and pleasing dining sensation!

This was by far the worst Pad Thsi I have ever ordered off Uber eats....The beef wasn't cooked fully and the Pad Thai sauce was disgusting....I can't believe it. I also ordered Bangkok chicken and my cat wouldn't even eat it. A big disappointment

Good food, fast.

I ordered here multiple times for take out. I usually order chicken Pad Thai for the main meal. Quantity of the chicken is not a lot, but reasonable for the price. The amount of noodles is very generous. Taste is great with perfect amount of seasoning and heat! I would give it 8.5/10. I also tried the tom yum soup and it is amazing. Add little chicken to it and it tastes even better. The crab rangons are also a very good appetizer. At their price point, I definitely recommend this place.

This is not genuine this what so ever... This is possessed frozen food and Chinese rice....
And not fride rice either... The prices are stupid crazy... First time here last time here... Water tasting rusty as well, hope I do not get sick from it.

I ordered a few dishes from here - The red coconut curry was tasty, however the Tom Kha was really really bad, I was concerned that it was cooked incorrectly or sitting out for days.

Did not enjoy my dinner from here. I had the dinner curry noodles and they were overcooked and tasteless. The dish didn't look like the photo on DoorDash. I threw most of it away and went hungry instead.

First of all, this is not Thai food. Americans will eat anything and be satisfied hence the 4.3 star rating which is INSANE as someone who is very cultured. Where are your spices!?

I was very disappointed in the watery Pad Thai. No bean sprouts, and no peanuts. I guess that's extra, not at any other Thai restaurants I've patronized. They gave me 2 slices of lemon (lime is preferable) but when I squeezed them they were limp and watery. The Fresh Rolls were basically flavorless Iceberg lettuce, shrimp and little, if any, cilantro. The Phô restaurants make something similar, called Summer Rolls and they include Chicken and shrimp and plenty of cilantro. The peanut dipping sauce was good and the only real source of flavor. My delivery was very quick, though.

Great place for takout

We had an office catering order for about 75 people. They were very helpful with suggestions from the menu for our large group. Delivery was on time and food was great. Lots of positive feedback from our office. We will definitely order from them again. Thank you!

I ordered massaman and it didn’t have any potatoes. That is the key ingredient of the dish and the whole reason I ordered it in the first place. There’s hardly anything to the dish without it. Highly disappointing.

We order catering frequently to be delivered downtown and it's always hot, fresh, delicious and on time. The food has so much flavor, even if you order mild. I love that the catering spread comes with all the sauces and especially the homemade hot sauce so you can adjust the heat to your own palate. It's perfect for a group and the portion sizes are huge. A great value for your money. I recommend the Bangkok chicken and the veggie curry - those are always team favorites, and if you get those 2 for a group, it gives a nice variety of different tastes. The pad Thai is yummy and comes with extra peanuts and lemon wedges. Really good!

The dishes we ordered ranged from "decent", "bland" (fried rice), "mushy" (noodle dish) and inedible. The crab rangoon had the tiniest flecks of crab, mostly cream cheese. The spring roles were passable but bland. The fried rice had no seasoning and frozen vegetables. Worst was the pad see-ew which was inedible. All the noodles were mushed together (overcooked). I could not eat my meal.

Really just pick the food up like a nice place

The food was great. Tom Yum soup very yummy and the Pad Thai best I’ve had in a long time. The flavors are good and rich and the noodles weren’t all stuck together like some places .
The seating is cute and the overall space very clean , including the bathroom. I will definitely be back and I would recommend especially if you are the go and need a good meal.

Literally the BEST Thai food I have had since I can remember. This was absolutely delicious and I will definitely be returning! Thank you so so very much for the delicious taste and food it was quality food. I also got the spice level of hot but I enjoy spicy food and they have the best!

I ordered takeout tonight. I arrived 15 minutes before closing but they still took my ordered and were gracious; no complaints or gripes about my lateness. The food was delicious. My only complaint was that the thai iced tea wasn't good. Satay was tasty (wish the peanut sauce was a little spicier, the pad see ew was good (beef was a little bland), and the speing rolls were tasty.

Delicious brown sauce. Tender pieces of beef. Plenty of onions and a generous amount of water chestnuts. All with a tub of rice.

Best Thai food in the Northern hemisphere! They make the most delicious spring rolls and have the best spring roll sauce I've ever had. I always order extra so I can pour it on everything I order. The staff is so friendly, especially the wonderful and delightful Allisa who never fails to brighten your day with her smile when you walk through their door.

Their eggplant curry is my absolute favorite flavor wise. (Pad ped I think?) I’m just disappointed that whenever I order anything from there (like today I got pad Thai on doordash) their meat quantity is pretty skimpy, but today it was exceptionally low!! I didn’t buy my usual because I wanted to share my noodles with my daughter but there’s not much in the noodles except bamboo shoots and a sprinkling of peanuts.. and I counted 5 little pieces of chicken in the entire package (see attached photo) please give more meat for the price you charge for product, especially if it’s an up charge for meats.

Disgusting drunken noodle, would never order from here again. The noodles were very clumped up in huge chunk, and the flavor was just salty sweet soy sauce, terrible to call this drunken noodle, and the recipe doesn’t have stir fried egg like how it’s supposed to be made.

Amazing food, so glad we stumbled upon this place. The Thai restaurant in our area closed recently and my wife and I were missing our favorites. Bangkok Cuisine is by far the best Thai food that we've had.

Bangkok at this location is top notch. Good food. Perfectly cooked. Good recipe. Very busy! And from what I know, owned by authentic Thai people. FYI, Thai owned restaurant for Thai food is the best! The place is small, but the food is exceptionally good. There are plenty of Thai restaurant in the area. This is the first Thai place you should try. You will not be disappointed. In fact, lots of doctors and nurses come here for take out.

Our dinner from here was inedible - we ordered a sweet and sour chicken that was comprised of tough and chewy chicken ‘bits’ - unclear what part of the chicken it came from. The pad Thai was oddly sour, with tough (undercooked) noodles. We literally could not eat the food, it was that bad. Such a waste.

The chicken pad thai was very delish! The chicken fried rice was very good and good heat (medium) 😋 my new thai place close to home.

Good service, but I really really disliked the drunken noodles I got… Not sure if it’s the hot sauce or what but it tasted quite sweet and I didn’t feel good after eating it. Beef didn’t taste like good quality meat either. Fried rice was alright (whiter than usual but tasted fine).

Great Thai take-out! We came here after falling in love with the Rochester location as kids (sadly, nothing can replace that Bangkok Cuisine, go there if you're ever in Rochester!) These guys have similar H&S Soup that we love, but everything we've gotten here is always a hit. Quick service and reasonable prices for the area.

Been ordering from this location for years, not anymore. Friday evening I ordered two different chicken dishes and was extremely disappointed to find almost no chicken in either. I noticed this when I ordered about a month ago and thought maybe it was a onetime thing, apparently not. Time to find a new place.

Used to be good. I ordered online, it’s only been getting worse. At one time, this restaurant used to care about their food and customers. Not anymore. Want an extra topping? Too bad. Want to remove a topping? Too bad. Doesn’t matter what ordering app or website, they are constantly removing your options. I tried using their preferred website, total joke. If you’re lucky enough to get something customized, it’s only because they haven’t removed that option yet. Give your money to a restaurant that cares, not this one.

Easily the best thai food in the area.

Was pretty disappointed with the chicken pad Thai. The flavoring was a lot of acidic than normal, it didn’t have the peanutty/ thicker sauce like it should. Very little chicken. I also added broccoli to it and was disappointed in the amount they gave me.

We ordered Pad See Ew, Drunken Noodle and Chicken Pad Thai and all of them were pretty soggy. If you like soggy/ overcooked and salty noodles this is the place to go.

Pad kee Mao here is minced chicken!!!

Had ordered Pad Kee Mao takeout and was surprised to open the boxes to find minced chicken with white rice. When I called them, instead of apologizing or offering a refund or a replacement, they coolly claimed that they serve minced chicken as Pad Kee Mao at this place !! NOT the flat noodles that is the signature ingredient of the world famous Pad Kee Mao!!

Stunned by their answer and tired of driving all the way back to fight on this, I decided to try the minced chicken only to stop right after the first spoon. It’s was swimming in oil and was super SALTY!!

Overall DISGUSTING experience that left a bad taste in my mouth …. Literally!!

What kind of restaurant changes the authenticity of a well known dish ?!!! To add to their brazen audacity the food is at best mediocre and with such high fat and sodium levels…. a health hazard!

I would recommend the curry noodles! It was a pretty good dish. The service was fine and overall had a great experience. However, nothing that gave this place the extra umph it needed to make it uniquely good.

I’ve never been so mad at a restaurant that I would warn people to stay away. I got a dish from them - Beef Pad Cashew - when I got home and started eating it, the overload of salt was so great that both my wife and I couldn’t eat it. My wife just thought that one of the cooks might have accidentally put too much salt in it, but when I called, the person in charge started arguing with me and questioned my “hypersensitivity “ to salt. And then she said that they have sold many of these dishes and nobody has complained about it. I brought the dish back and she still didn’t believe me, and wouldn’t taste it.
Now, I’ve been to this place dozens of times in the past and always enjoyed their food, but questioning me about my complaints to their inedible food goes over the line. I almost never complain about restaurant food, so when I drive the 4 miles back to the restaurant to bring the dish back, I don’t need someone arguing with me like I’m crazy. I’ll NEVER go back.

I love this restaurant! Everything they make tastes good and is of good quality. The staples are excellent (pad Thai, spring rolls, etc.) and I love to try different things on their menu. The vegetable curry is great, the massaman curry is great, the tom ka soup is great! I really can't say more good things about this restaurant and their staff.

I usually get the Bangkok chicken which is 10/10. But this time I tried the Asian BBQ and I wasn’t impressed. I basically got 3 slabs of beef with some broccoli. Seems like a unfinished dish that needs more. The beef was good, just wasn’t a good dish as a whole. The pad se ew was really good, enjoyed that a lot almost as much as the Bangkok chicken.

It's sad to see I orders tasted like rubber and no matter how much spice I added to them they soaked nothing up and we're just as bland as before

I usually go to the Bangkok in Rochester, but I was in the area of this location & they are convenient with carryout so we went here on the way to Pontiac. The food was comparable to the other location, but they didn't have the Nong Tong I was craving. I'll have to go to Rochester for those, but that's ok.

I love this place because unlike many other Thai places in the area, here you can customize your dish however you like. I had trouble finding a place that would accommodate me since I can’t eat egg. Food is always delicious.

I used to love this location. They must have changed management. Now all they do is screw up your order. Even after getting a redelivery; still completely wrong.

Edit: I have since tried again and the order was finally correct, but the chefs are clearly different from about 2 years ago. The food is quite bland and the vegetables weren't cooked in the sauce; just added afterwards.

I ordered 2 dishes. 1 mild, the other mild +. They were both so spicy, they were inedible. I have been eating Thai food for decades and I know it is possible to make delicious, flavorful Thai food that is not so spicy it's painful. I understand I'm a white lady, and spice is all relative, but generally I would say I like spicy food, and can tolerate moderate to quite spicy food. My problem is that I ordered it mild so my kids would eat it too. Why even have that as an option if you won't adjust the spice level? It's just frustrating because it ends up being a waste of money if no one wants to eat it because it hurts. Food shouldn't hurt. Call me a crazy Karen. 🤷‍♀️ At a certain point, food becomes so spicy you can't even taste the flavor anymore because all you feel is burning. That's what level spice this was. It was supposedly "mild". That seems ridiculous me.

Best Thai food spot I've been to in a while

Ordered through Grubhub. Delivery was quick, but 2 items were missing from our large order. Called the restaurant and they said they’d credit us for the missing items. Food was great. I usually don’t order chicken with any of my Thai food, I don’t know how they prep it but it invariably has an unpleasant funkiness, so I get the beef. My husband got the curry noodles with chicken and he said that although the chicken funkiness was there, it was very faint. The spring rolls were crispy, fresh and delicious. The Thai iced tea was yummy (how could you mess that up? Don’t know, but it happened once in Grand Rapids). I was wondering whether to give them a 4 or 5 star rating, and in the end I went with 5 cos I would order from there again and we hardly ever eat out.

I'm not happy to write this, but I won't be returning to this restaurant after they gave me the wrong order for the third time. The Ped Cashew is probably my favorite meal in the metro area. The first time it was wrong I chalked it up to a mistake. The second time I was give shrimp pad thai (shellfish allergy) I was told I should have checked it before I left. Yesterday I ordered inside the store and was give the wrong meat and zero spice (wanted medium). I should not have to inspect and taste my order before I leave the restaurant. So, since I'm not getting what I pay for, I will not return again.

Great little Thai place on Woodward. I go here at least once a week to get the Pad Thai or Kow Pad. Every friend I have brought here that likes Thai Food loves this place as well. The Spring rolls and the home made sweet dipping sauce are a must with every one of my orders now. Staff is always very nice and welcoming.

Had a very poor experience with the manager repeatedly yelling "where's your business?" at my friend, without a mask (COVID-19 pandemic), when we had just parked to go order pizza at Buddy's next door. He was seemingly annoyed that we couldn't phase through the parked cars next to us because we (2 cars) were apparently taking up 4 non existent parking spots.

After squeezing as close as possible, we could only make 3 parking spots and the owner was just shaking his head at us. I honestly didn't understand what he wanted from us. So we decided to not have to deal with his passive aggressive attitude and parked elsewhere. Shortly after when we picked up our pizza order, we looked back at the spots we were in, and lo and behold, it was only enough to fit 2 cars.

I understand if you do not want people who aren't eating from your restaurant to not take up parking spots, but that is not the way to do it. I've had other experiences where workers would politely and clearly inform me that I would have to be a paying customer, which I understand, and have obliged them, but this parking lot is shared with other businesses next door, so it wasn't clear to us that those spots were exclusively his (and I'm not even sure if that's valid).

I have not eaten here, but after that hostile experience, I will actively avoid it and will not recommend it to others.

On 07/09/2020 I ordered Thai food from this establishment for my hair Salon Staff . Every order was wrong, except the hot & sour soup. What a waste of $62.00!!!
There is no excuse whatsoever to make a mistake on ALL the meals. If there was a half star rating I would choose it.
They pale in performance, flavor and organization compared to the REAL BANKOCK Cuisine located at 15 Mile and Dequinder
Thank God they are not affiliated . STAY AWAY from this restaurant by all costs.

The staff are very friendly and accomodating. The service was fast and the food and presentation was very delicious.

Not only do they have the best crab rangoon around, but they are the only restaurant that actually gets my customizations and special requests correct EVERY SINGLE TIME. They go above and beyond with customer service and make their food with love.

The food was great . You dont get as much as most places. The cook was nice and funny . I will only go back if I'm near the area because for the same price you get more food down the street to feed a group.(the food there is not better but still good) The cool thing is Bangkok Cuisine gives you food in them meal plan reusable type containers. I went back till I had enough for 2 meal a day. Lol I haven't been back.

This is the best thai food around. What I really like about this place is that they know how to do crispy. The spring rolls and chicken wontons are fantastic and crispy. Chicken fried rice is always cooked well and the food portion is plenty. This is my go to for thai food in the area.

Great food with great service. My favorite dishes are Gang Dang and Drunken Noodle. One of the best Thai restaurants in metro Detroit.

Best Thai food around! Tiny, little spot, as most of the great Thai restaurants are. I ordered take out online, got there 10 minutes early for pickup and my food was just being boxed up. Ordered Drunken Noodles and they were delicious. Buyer beware! They offer varying spice levels, I like it hot any typically find the hot spice level as merely good and warm, not here! Hot is holy hot! Whew! Get ready to sweat it out. Nicely done guys! They are now my goto Thai spot.
