Modern Thai-Inspired fast casual restaurant
It's my favorite spot for a GREAT meal! You can never go wrong with a stop at No Thai! If you haven't, you NEED TO ASAP! Drunkin fried rice and nogi rolls are my go-to... I'm NEVER disappointed. Service and Staff are amazing... I could go on for hours about my luv for this spot! It's a must eat!
Great Thai food in a fast casual environment. We walked in and ordered and the food was ready within 5 minutes. Very quick. We got the vegan green curry with tofu, and Thai iced tea. They were both very good. Iβd love to see more vegan options on the menu besides the one green curry entree, and it would be amazing to have an alternative milk for the Thai iced tea. Otherwise, itβs very good and I would go again.
Attention to detail is not their strong suit. last time I ordered no spice and it was so spicy I couldnβt eat it. Tonight I ordered pad Thai curry, which is supposed to come with pineapple and there is no pineapple in it at all. I also witnessed a gentleman putting rice into the rice warmer and going around the edge with his bare hand, pushing the rice into the container.
Been to a few No Thai locations, some are better than others. Staff here are great, quality of the food is not as good. Fried rice was overcooked and lacked flavor. Unfortunately very expensive as far as βfast food goesβ about $15 for a small dish.
Chicken was overcooked and dry. Noodles were undercooked. Overall horrible. Youβd be better off putting the food in the blender and throwing it in the toilet.
Possibly the worst takeout Iβve ever experienced. The meat was tough and chewy, and the dish was so bland I added my own alliums and spices to flavor it. Then, I found a metallic staple in my food. We will not be visiting this location again.
No Thai β note, I know Thai, and love No Thai! No tie needed.
Fast good Thai food.
Always courteous, always tasty! Reliable customizable options that keep us coming back! Not too fond of the noise level and seating options. Plus it's always FREEZING regardless of time of year, but especially winter. :(
Good portions. Had the pad Thai. The sauce was good. Like that you have choices of which meat and sauce, (weak - blazing hot) and they served it up fast.
Great food!
Pretty rude customer service

Freaky fast!

Pretty standard No Thai. Solid Thai food for a decent price with quick service.
scammed my money and didn't even say sorry
Food was not good. The crab wontons barely had any crab. Might as well call them cream cheese wontons. I normally would not care, but the guy working at the register this afternoon was very rude. I will not be returning.
Amazing
Great food. Great service. Busy and Friendly atmosphere. Flavorful. Try the #8.
@HeGotAllThemDamnKids
Tried a noodle dish and rice dish both were good. The medium level is spice was barely spicy. The single use plastic cup for beverages was a disappointment.
I found a hair in my sweet and spicy chicken.
Talked to the managers
They said it looked fine to them and they were sorry for how I felt. I asked them to remake the dish but they laughed and said what if people like the hair?
No Thai is like the McDonald's of Thai food. It's pretty food. Not bad, but not awesome either.
It's priced appropriately for what you get. Prepare to not be hungry and eat decently, but you won't be wowed either.
I paid for extra sauce the last 6 times and every time they have given me no sauce at all. Make sure you double check your items before leaving. The service is not friendly and great.
Usually the food here is really tasty ! I love the Drunken Noodles w/o protein. On my last visit the last week of June/2024 the noodles were very greasy and it seemed the pan used to make them may have not been cleaned properly ingredients didn't seem fresh hardly any green peppers or onion. Sadly this location is becoming a hit or miss may be looking for a New Thai restaurant. the service here is always great staff is very friendly and helpful.
Amazing dishes with large portions and they don't skimp on the chicken. Every time has been great, can't wait to go back again.
Cleanest no Thai Iβve been in! The cashier was so friendly! Great experience.
Potato curry is the best thing ever. Fried chunks of potato in red Thai curry
Place is always great. Charles is always on top of it there
A lot of GF options. Friendly and helpful server. Very fast service.
Food was one note spicy and not hot temperature wise
Horrible. Unless you want watered down non veg thai food made by students
Better go to Tuptim
Johnathan from No Thai! is hands down the most kind, thoughtful and genuine employee! I recommend this place to anyone in the area if you want great service and even better Thai food.
Take out or dine in the food is delicious. It's not a fancy place, but plenty or chairs and tables to sit and eat. The Thai tea is so good.
Food delicious. Service quick. Atmosphere bland, chairs are hard and everytime I go the air too cold in the dining area.
Tha food is great. Order ahead to avoid waiting there. Atmosphere is meh, but you can dine in.
They had Thai. Total Frauds
gas
The tofu in my dish was cut into 1/4 inch cubes and some tasted like fuel.
Itβs erratic. I wish they kept consistency with quality. We ordered two pad Thais, one was ok and the other I guess was prepared by other person, not sure what happened, but was completely different recipe, a lot of water on it, it looked like a ramen more than a pad Thai and tasted bad.
The staff is in a bad mood usually and I think that bad energy translates into the food and also ruins the experience.
Food was great given the price. Staff were very friendly and service was fast. Iβve heard some people complain about order mistakes before, but this hasnβt happened to me.
Much enjoyed!
Having had a less than stellar experience at S. University's original location some years back, I was concerned. But it was late and my better half needed to eat. I was pleasantly surprised at the wok hei of my shrimp pad Thai. It was delicious. Everything was fine. Cashier was a tall, friendly blond man who was a font of positive energy on a weeknight, too.
I go here pretty often since I work up the street, the chefs remember my name. Their food is always good. I would recommend the drunken noodles, or red potato curry is very good! So is the drunken rice. 10/10. Good job no Thai I had to write a review mid eating bc theyβre that goodπ
Had the pad Thai yoga flame... not too bad on the heat. Next time I'll try the Dim Mak death touch
We love No Thai! Our favorite dishes are the pad basil, pad thai, and the fried rice.
I have had some very good and very mediocre experiences here. Depending on the day/the staff, the chicken pad thai can be really good- but on other days, it can be flavorless and watery and greasy. The pad thai sauce is often so subtle it seems like it doesn't have sauce. The noodles are often overcooked or undercooked.
The worst thing is that, more than one time after going here (over 4 years), I felt the food may have been under cooked and may have made me sick. This was the case yesterday. But other days, the food was so delicious that I ate the leftovers for breakfast.
Superfast service!!!
Thier right this is no Thai restaurant it was fast bad food
If you think this is good Thai food I have to imagine this is also the only Thai food you've eaten.
Better than Siam Square, Thai Spoon, and Basil Babe.
Ordered chicken fried rice to-go and came back home to find out there was no chicken in the fried rice!
Great carry out place - interior is clean and welcoming, but bad acoustics and not a place you want to sit and eat.
We love their pad Thai- medium sauce is just perfect!!!
Last night I tried the pad basil and it was tasty too - most entrees are really two meals.
Bring back your old tofu
I will drive all the way across town for this specific location. I have tried literally every No Thai in Ann Arbor due to the locations I have been in. This is THE BEST ONE TO EAT AT! Their cooks are AMAZING. Who ever works between opening and 4pm is the absolute G.O.A.T! You make my food right every single time and the flavor is giving what it needs to give! I am not ever dissapointed when I come here, I am always happy and always stuffed because the portions are the bomb dot com. Please show the Plymouth road location how to do the job the right way.
The environment when I come in is loud and friendly. The cooks are really nice actually. The cashier, I am sure she is a nice lady but she isn't always the nicest but I understand because you can be nice and not display a smile. I don't really feel like bright and sunny when I interact with her but she is never disrespectful or rude. Essentially the cooks have been more enthusiastic which I thought was odd! but I LOVE IT because a happy cook makes great food. GIVE THEM A FREAKING RAISE they deserve it!
I need to edit my review since you guys switched to the new system. My food came out perfect, and the delivery guy gave great service.
Pretty good. Had the the drunken noodles and the pad thai. I will return and try more dishes from the menu. I will say this may be the best tasting thai food place in this area. I've had better. But like I said this is pretty good.
This is the Panda Express of Thai food; coming from CA, itβs not the most authentic maybe, but it is good and super fast, great job guys!
Great food!
Great service!
Decent prices.
Atmosphere is lacking, but not bad. Just kinda small, and plain. But the food is what counts.
Excellent food for the price
First time visit. We will plan to return. The food was good
I had the worse food poisoning from here and I ended up in the hospital. I called the management to report it and they blew it off. So I donβt recommend going here.
Good food, but stood around waiting for 45 minutes after it was supposed to be ready. Not sure Iβd come back.
Iβm always assembling the whole darn crew for a run at No Thai! Sure, sure it doesnβt have that hole-in-the-wall feel that I expect from a great Thai restaurant in college town; but this place delivers! Huge portions, friendly staff, and hot so so hot (for me, others donβt seem so affected)! Itβs great, just great, like really really great.
Good place to grab so quick Thai food. Good flavor and they mail your spice level. Crab wontons were on point, delicious.
Super fast.
Best No Thai in A2. Consistent. Fast. Good food. Person taking calls for take out can do better though. Put me on hold for 20 min during dinner rush. I drove to restaurant (on hold) and saw him take several orders before taking me off hold. At which point I just ordered in person.
Best Thai in Ann Arbor. Still wish they'd come to Dexter.
Update: Still the best. Still not in Dexter.
Decent thai food, no spice at top level.
Great food served up pretty fast. Online ordering works really well.
Excellent customer service and the food is great
They have good food, but they have trouble with consistency in spice levels.
So it's a fast food style Thai restaurant so I took a star of the atmosphere 'cause... Well it's a small fast food joint, not exactly an atmospheric dining experience.
Also took a star off for service for two reasons. 1) their online ordering prices is not well integrated into their workflow resulting in a look down the nose at you attitude when you pick up. 2) the past three times I have ordered from there I have had to wait 20 min or more for my order after arriving 5 minutes after it's reported ready time.
However, all that aside, I would definitely recommend this place the food is great and the prices are very reasonable and the portions are not skimpy.
Quick service, good food!
I rarely stray away from my standard order which is Crab Rangoons and yoga flame chicken pad thai. The food is always made quick and is consistently good. Nogi Rolls are always delicious and two orders can be made in to a meal(although not one recommended by the USDA or your PCP) I wish they added the green onions after cooking so they were more fresh and gave an extra crunch(or step up the game and give me some bean sprouts). I would also like if the peanuts were not crushed into such small pieces(yes I want more crunch). The restaurant is always clean and can often be busy at lunch and dinner. In summary, NoThai! will continue to get my business when it comes to satisfying my need for quick and consistently good Asian cuisine.
Rice was dry. Restaurant prices for walkup quality and service. Food flavor was decent.
Bland, broccoli tastes freezer burnt, overcooked noodles, and rude staff to top it all off π
Not bad for what I was expecting. I went with a mid level heat and I could have used a bit more. I got the drunken noodles and was expecting just a touch of natural heat with it but it was missing thai or serrano pepper that I'm used to. Still very good though and I would eat again.
Yummie
Favorite Thai food in the Ann arbor area. Very friendly inside.
Very good pad thai
Great Thai food in a fast casual environment. We walked in and ordered and the food was ready within 5 minutes. Very quick. We got the vegan green curry with tofu, and Thai iced tea. They were both very good. Iβd love to see more vegan options on the menu besides the one green curry entree, and it would be amazing to have an alternative milk for the Thai iced tea. Otherwise, itβs very good and I would go again.
Fantastic food, every dish I've tried comes out great. No Thai really nails the fast-service Thai inspired niche that hits just right on a weekday lunch or late evening dinner. Service is always very pleasant and dining in is spacious and welcoming. Spice level can be inconsistent at times, but not a problem for me.
Inflation seems to have taken effect on No Thaiβs portions! There was literally 6 bitty pieces of chicken in my pad Thai. The food containers were only half filled, not like previous times when the economy was good. Frustrating.
Excellent food
Worst possible service I ever saw!
20 minutes waiting on the phone to place an order. While waiting for food inside I saw how they running the phone. She place callers on hold and take orders from walk in's, hand orders that are ready, cleaning the tables, visit the kitchen for 5 times and then answering the person who's waiting on the line. My order was ready for like 10 minutes but I had to ask for it twice. And there are 5 clowns running the kitchen.
Food is OK though.
There is something seriously weird about this place. The food is good which is what always brings us back - but there are rude, unwelcoming people working there and they can't ever seem to get our orders right. They are usually pretty busy - which is understandable.
I called in a pick-up order yesterday, waited forever in line while the lady behind the register chatted it up and looked at photos in a customers phone while myself and a few others waited in line behind them. Finally got to the register (agree with the other review about their terrible payment system) - she asks me to confirm. The order "looks" correct on the screen - I pay. She gives me a number card and starts taking the order of the person behind me. My order was ready to go - I had to ask her why I needed the card and she said "oh, let me check" and handed me the food. Again, whatever, maybe she's new.
But EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. my fiance or myself orders from this place - they almost NEVER honor any adjustments to our orders. Extra sprouts? Nope, sorry. Extra shrimp? Barely any at all - would hate to see how many shrimp come in a regular order. Extra egg? Can hardly find ANY egg. It's just SO so bizarre and that's been the case for a very long time. Please someone explain this to me because my fiance and I feel like we are taking crazy pills. And we pay for these extras, they aren't free. And I HAVE taken the order back a few times for them to fix, they HAVE corrected it a couple times - but I really don't want to be the person to have them make a whole new dish just for extra sprouts and egg.
Everyone in this store is in serious need of an attitude adjustment. I understand working in the food service industry isnβt fun for most, but if you hate your job so much that you take your bad attitude out on customers, find another job. It must be a problem with this stores management because literally everyone at this location acts this way. Rude, snarky, acting like itβs your fault when theyβre busy. Just terrible service and unwelcoming environment. You guys just lost my business
Good fast Thai
The food is always good, but unfortunately there is a practice going on with carryout orders upon pick-up that I cannot be silent about anymore.
Each time I call in a pickup order and get to the store I'm always told the same phrase as they pull up the payment screen for card payment: "Please press confirm on the pad." Or something along those lines. The customer is always instructed by the cashier to look for that confirm button.
Nothing about tipping is ever mentioned. They never say "Take a look at the screen to verify your order or payment is correct." Nothing like that...it's always "Press confirm." So in a moment's notice, a customer is conditioned to just press that button and not look any closer. BUT there is ALWAYS a tip amount pre selected and must be changed to "No tip" (by pressing that button) to remove it. I'm sorry, but that's obnoxious. I'm paying for food that I come and pick up. The business sells food. I shouldn't have to tip because someone handed me a bag. Either pay your workers an amount of pay that is worth working for, or just increase your prices. Tricking customers into tipping on card by conditioning the customer in a moment to just not realize they're being swindled out of a a few bucks. I don't even know that the store IS even giving these tips to their employees in a fair way, and not just keeping it for themselves. This practice should come to an end. I'm considering calling the Better Business Bureau about it and making a complaint. And I WILL be keeping my eye on this review to make sure it's not paid to be removed. The public deserves to know the truth !
Very slow
This is hands down the best take out in Ann Arbor! Drunken noodles are my favorite. Friendly staff and fast turn around
Excellent. Legit Thai food
Excellent place to eat. Quick, excellent quality, friendly service!
Always awesome food, great service and atmosphere π π
The crab wontons were good, but I had the pad basil stir-fry and the vegetables were all way under-cooked, like almost raw. Good flavor, I just wish they cooked the vegetables more. Also I got "weak sauce" which is level 1 spicy and it was spicy so be careful when ordering... Thai spicy is spicy! This is my second visit and the vegetables are extremely under cooked again. Honestly, I'd rather just go somewhere else.
No Thai is great. The only issue I've had at this spot is their phone line has been busy so it felt impossible to make a pickup order. Since it's so busy, the wait can be pretty log as well
Editing my previous review for not ever being able to place an order.
Seems that they have revamped over the last year. Good portions and good, hot Thai! Love placing pick up orders and always receiving consistent service and food. Would like an online ordering option, but I donβt mind calling.
As always, the food is fantastic and quick. And very reasonably priced. My wife and I each got Chicken Pad Thai. $20 total.
One of my favorite takeout restaurants around.
pretty much the most flavorless pad thai I have ever had. Usually get curry at another location, this was a bunch of noodles packed into a container with a very little else.
Definitely top notch
Good food and pretty good location.
Food is good but you canβt order on the online website for some reason.
Great. Just great. We stopped here because it was open later than other places and it's also a bit different. Definitely going back here when we are in town.
Always helpful. Excellent dishes
This is my second visit to No Thai, ever. The first time I ordered Pad Thai, Drunken Rice, and Nogi Rolls. There was hardly any flavor in either of the dishes and the rolls were so over cooked that the cheese was hard. So, I googled and re-seasoned the food. Today, I ordered the Curry Pad Thai and had the same resultβ¦ the food had zero flavor other than oil and a slight sweetness. So, I googled and re-seasoned my food, again. I think Iβll try another location before I give up on the chain. Thai food is not bland!
Tasty!
It was good.
Pad thai medium heat beef protein
Next time ill for sure get 4 or 5 (heat level)
4 stars for 4 lvl heat
Ill be back for a 5 star review.
Been here several times now and the food is quite standard, nothing to complain about. However, customer service leaves a lot to be desired. The young man answering the phone on Dec 5 is incredibly rude. I will probably not be returning to this location.
The food is so good but the customer service is lacking. I could hardly hear the guy who answered the phone due to the noise on his end. He was very unpleasant and probably shouldnβt be answering the phone.
I had an okay visit. I ordered drunken noodles with tofu which is what I always get but WAYYYY too much garlic was used this time. Itβs overpowering the flavor Iβm used to and I donβt too much like garlicky food
Just tried placing an order, the person on the phone was extremely rude. I didnβt even complete it because no one has the time to be spoken to as if they are a child or incompetent.
Friendly, Fast, Good Food
Addicted. Yummy.
Burned egg made the dish taste like cigarette ashes.
Quick great food
Love the food every time. We wish they would open one closer to us.
So good. The sweet and spicy chicken is π€
