I think only a couple people run the place. The last time I ordered here, they were running a little behind, no big deal, I am happy to wait for such great food. They offered me a free Thai tea, which I initially refused because they didn’t need to apologize for running behind, but they insisted and later brought it out to my car. When they realized I was with a friend, they brought him one too! (The teas were fantastic, and I will likely get them from now on) I tried tipping for them but they still refused. These are good people running this small takeout restaurant, and I can’t recommend them enough.

Ordered Crab Rangoon, Chicken Pad Thai, and Shrimp Mango Curry (day-old leftovers pictured) on the worst weather Saturday of this winter so far, and not only was the food ready in 20 minutes flat, it was insanely delicious and they brought it out to our car as I was jumping out to run inside to collect it! Don't be fooled by the modest digs of this takeout-only restaurant - they are the REAL DEAL! I only just learned about it this week, and have eaten this deliciousness twice so far, along with the best Orange Chicken I've ever had in my life! I wish I had more stars to rate with! Will DEFINITELY be back!

This is a nice place to get Thai food. The food is good and served in a decent amount of time. The owners are very nice and give excellent service. The restaurant does not allow dine in because of the size but they do a good job to get you in and out and don't get a line going. The only thing is they are on the pricey side but the amount of food they give you and the quality of the food and preparation makes it worth it. Also definitely consider getting the golden bags it's what I believe is one of their best items on their menu. If you want good Thai food I definitely recommend coming here.

There aren't a huge number of places in this town to grab Thai food, but this little family owned restaurant is a good choice if you're looking for something cheap to go.

I’m in Lafayette for a week for work and used Google maps for restaurants in the area. The reviews for R&N were great so I placed an order. So glad I did.
The spring rolls were crispy outside and juicy in. The sauce / dip for them was a great accent. I had hesitated about ordering chicken for my pad Thai since I often don’t like how it’s cooked but went with that anyway. Again so glad I did. Sliced into thin pieces, the chicken was great. Look at the pad Thai presentation!! Once mixed together and tasted, my mouth did a happy dance!
Whether you live here or are visiting, try this place out. You won’t be disappointed.

Absolute joy to relax with while they finished my food prep. Kitchen was impeccably clean, and just about every food surface that I could see was dated for the last time it had been deep cleaned. The food itself - good lord. I've experienced a lot of local/mom and pop type places - but this one was fantastic. Everything was well seasoned, fresh, and you could tell that a lot of care went into the preparation. If I could give this place 6 stars out of 5, I would. I can't wait to swing back through and try the rest of the menu, my wife and I were incredibly impressed!

We go the Garlic Stir Fry with chicken Medium heat and their Orange Chicken and it was fantastic. All of it had great flavor and the heat was not overwhelming.

Got the Pad see ew and ate it in my car since they are a small window kitchen with no inside dining. Excellent food, hot, cooked fresh to order. Good portion size for a fair price. You can't find this quality of Thai street food at anywhere else in the area. Looking forward to going back.

Incredible food (my favorite Thai restaurant in the Lafayette area), portions large enough that my spouse and I can always split a meal, warm and welcoming staff that go the extra mile for their guests... What's not to love!
Also, it won't give me the option to recommend it, but their Tom Kha soup is amazing!

I’ve always considered myself a foodie, but I have never made it around to trying Thai food. Saw a post on Reddit about how this place was very good and of course had to try it. Picked up food tonight and got super excited to when I saw a small kitchen (much like a house) the wok on the stove, and 2 people there making the food and getting orders out. The food was incredible. Especially the crab rangoons! I will definitely be ordering here again when I start craving those flavors!

This was our first time trying here and it was absolutely amazing! We ordered mango curry, chow mein, and drunken noodles and everything was delicious. This will be our go to takeout place from now on. They have us as customers for life.

After a week of eating pizza, burgers, bbq, fast food, etc, I needed authentic Asian food and this place really hit the spot.

The flavors are authentic and the seasoning was perfect (a lot of Thai spots overdo sugar to appease American palates - but they do it right). My in laws who normally don’t order Thai food enjoyed it as well.

I absolutely LOVE this place. It is so easy to miss off Veterans, but it is the only place I go for Thai food now. A couple years ago, I was a server at a really good Thai restaurant in New Jersey. It gave me high expectations for Thai food that barely were ever met. I was very worried about finding a good place when moving to Indiana. However, this place blew my mind. The curry is spectacular, the pad Thai hits every time (which is sometimes hard when getting pad Thai takeout) and the tom yum soup is super flavorful! Also, the workers are so nice that they have brought my food to my car multiple times, but when I have gone inside, it’s a welcoming atmosphere. 10/10 every time, I will always recommend this place!

This place is really good! I’m really glad my husband saw it. We got soups. Curry. Fried rice and a noodle stir fry and they are all equally as good as the next. The Siam rolls and plum sauce, excellent. On top of that I tried the Thai iced tea while I was waiting, and it was so so so good. I had to get 2 more before I left, one for me and one for my husband to try. He loved it too. Will be back 1000 plus more times.

This place makes great food that is very fresh. The crab rangoon and golden bags are a must order. My favorite dish is the massaman curry, but everything I have tried has been consistently good.

This is a CARRY-OUT PLACE! So, I recommend calling them in advance and placing your order to avoid wait time. Besides that, this place serves one of the best THAI food in the town. The slightly high prices might raise your eyebrows for a second, but the quantity of the food (especially curries) can easily be two-time meals. The staff was super nice and gave us complimentary sodas as we waited for quite some time as they prepared our food. We tried their Green curry, Massaman curry, and Pa Naeng Curry and absolutely loved all of them. The servers also accommodated our tofu request in-place of meat which made us so comfortable :)

Hands down, my favorite item was the Siam rolls; it was the right amount of crispiness, flavors on the inside, and the sauce that was outrageously good. The staff was friendly and conversational and took care when packaging my food. Everything looked beautiful and was, indeed, delicious!

My only complaint was that the spice was unevenly distributed in my rice, so most of it was mild as requested, and then I encountered some kind of peppercorn or small tiny thing that set my mouth on fire for ten minutes.

We ordered a lot of food and loved every single dish. Everything was hot and fresh, I particularly loved the Prik Pow chicken and the Golden Bag appetizer. Everyone was very nice and even threw in a free Thai iced tea because the order took them a bit longer than they liked (although we did not feel the wait was that long at all). This is one of my favorite restaurants now and I'd recommend it to everyone.

Very good pad thai with pork that was still piping hot when I got to my destination 10 minutes away...and plenty of it. They will bring your order out to your car. Wish they had a printed menu and more room but the food is what counts.

Yum! This little restaurant is a wonderful addition to the selection on this side of town. It’s confusing because it never looks open and no one answers the phone, but the hours are posted on the door. I was happy to see vegetarian options on the menu online and it was ready in 15 minutes. The absolute best Thai food I’ve ever had in Indiana. The owner is lovely. Large portions. Fair prices.

The food was absolutely fantastic. Quick service too. Spicy fried rice and spicy basil noodles were delicious. Definitely one of our new go to take out spots.

This is my first time eating their food and I am amazed by how delicious and flavorful it is!
I ordered the Mussamun Curry and my brother got the Pineapple Fried Rice. Absolutely incredible. Will be ordering more and exploring the menu

Food was AWESOME and the lady saw me parking and ran my food out to me and said it was too cold for me to have to get out of the car. I will definetly become a regular here! I can't wait to try everything on the menu.

I had the spicy noodles last Friday which was great!! Tiny kitchen but food had great flavor. It seems like its just the one person running the place, the lady that brought me my food was very nice. She got me taken care of in a timely, which I was shocked since she quite a bit of orders. The establishment brings some character to Lafayette. I hope more people try her food. I will definitely be ordering from her again!!

The biggest problem is that I had to call multiple different times and days (tried for lunch and dinner) to finally get someone to answer. I live 1 mile away so I always drive by and wanted to try it, but it seems she is closed even when the sign says open. Hopefully she gets better at being open when the hours are posted. She is super friendly, but frustrating that it's never open.

Finally saw she was opened so ordered pad Thai and Ramen.

Pad that was pretty good, but chicken was a little dry like it was already cooked and been reheated.nice flavor.

Ramen had zero broth. not sure if this is how it's done traditionally for her, but was definitely a first for us.

We were glad we tried it. Food was decent but won't be in a rush to order again as a monthly meal.

Excellent food, if you can catch her open. Opens at 12 and leaves at 2 because she’s slow almost every day she’s “open”! Frustrating because the food quality is the best around this area.

I ordered red curry here for the first time yesterday for lunch and it was amazing! The lady there is extremely nice and as a restaurant owner myself I am so happy to see all the business she gets. I tipped her when I paid and she wouldn’t take it but I insisted. Today I came back and ordered spicy fried rice and when she brought it out she said if it was too spicy to call her and she would make me another one. I will definitely keep coming here.

Great food! A little family owned place. She took care of our food allergies and had wonderful Thai iced tea. We ordered inside and she brought the food out to our car.

Tried for the first time tonight and really enjoyed it! Everything was very fresh and flavorful. When we picked up I told the owner this was my first time trying Thai food, so she insisted I try mine to see if it was too spicy. It was and she insisted on remaking it, wouldn't take no for an answer and wouldn't take more money. She was very sweet, personable, and accommodating. Will definitely be back to try more of what they have to offer.

It's not often that I write reviews but I couldn't pass this place up. The food and service was great, wonderful ingredients/flavors, generous amounts of beef, incredibly timely and made fresh as soon as I ordered. Not to mention no where else could beat the price!!

Despite not reviewing local business as faithfully as I should, I am reviewing this place ultimately because of the kindness shown to me by the lady who took my order, cooked and served me my food. It was beyond customer service, it was just a good human being being a good human being. After she brought my dish out to my car, the lady asked if I had a drink. I told her I had planned on stopping somewhere and grabbing something (they are takeout and I don't think they serve drinks, not 100% sure on that tho). After getting situated with music and directions, i Iook up to see her at my window. This woman insists I take the drink she had brought me, a tea she said was hers but wanted me to have. You could tell she had brought me it for no other reason than to be kind, and I hope she realizes the profound impact that had on my day. I am leaving this review because this is the type of local business, the type of person, who is more than deserving of support from their community. The world is so badly lacking people who are the positive force for the simple sake of goodness. I will be back soon to try the curry, I cannot wait! Thank you for making my day, and spreading a message which is much deeper than a shared tea.

Food was delicious and plentiful, service was prompt and friendly. It's literally one lady in a tiny kitchen--the menu is hand written on poster board--so I don't mind being chill about slightly weird hours. It might be wise to confirm they're open before showing up. Well worth it!

This place is amazing!! We had Red Curry with Chicken, Spicy Basil Noodle with Chicken and Pot Stickers. Everything was fresh and flavorful!! This is the kind of Thai food we have been searching for in the Greater Lafayette area! The portions for us were perfect, enough for a little leftovers. Also, the owner is so friendly and great at making sure something won't be too spicy for you. We can't wait to try more! We stopped in and ordered (carry out only, dine in not available) but you can call in or order with Menufly.

Wonderful thai food! We stopped by this tiny street style thai food place on the way back home from vacation. Very nice lady! Ingredients were fresh and food was perfect! The thai tea was also delicious!

This lady might legitimately be the best person on the planet. Food is delicious and way better than others in Lafayette. Authentic, flavorful, fast, good prices, and pretty decent portions.

Please come support this business so that they can stick around and we can all have amazing Thai food on the south side.

This place is amazing! I absolutely love it, favorite Thai place in Indiana right now. Crab-fried rice is delicious and made with real crab! I've also tried and loved the pineapple-fried rice, red curry, green curry, and the spring rolls. If you like it hot get Thai hot - think red sauce from Mi Cabanita level hot. Order for pick-up only, no dine in. Pretty sure there is just 1 lady running this joint by herself.

Closed on Monday 2Pm ? No sign on the door, website either. Wasted gas driving 7mi.

This is a great place to pickup some great food!

This place is tiny and you could easily drive by without seeing it but...that would be a mistake.

The women running the small pickup restaurant is a nice lady who knows how to cook. The prices are also very reasonable.

I highly recommend this place is if you have a pregnant wife who craves Thai food!

This is THE place for Thai cuisine in area. I've had about half the menu in the last month and it's all been fantastic. Green curry and the spicy basil noodles are stand outs.

Heat levels are "Thai accurate" and the "Thai Hot" is legit.
It's a little hard to find, at the far corner of the strip mall. Advise calling in your order for the fastest pick up time, it's a one woman show and she gets busy, which is understandable given the low price and high quality.

Finally, a Thai place in town worthy of the title.

Ordering was super easy using their website. The staff was very friendly and had my order ready on time. I would suggest being mindful of spice levels. The mild had me sweating, but was still delicious and easily bearable. Our order included the pad thai, spicy basil noodles, spring rolls and coconut soup and it was all great. Definitely going back!

Wonderful food and great hospitality! My order took longer to make than estimated, which I didn't mind, but the kind lady working that morning gave me a drink to sip while I waited.

Rice & Noodle is phenomenal! I had the spicy basil noodles (Hot). It had a bit of kick, but the heat didn't overpower the other flavors. I really like spicy food, so my 'bit of kick' might be an understatement. My husband had the pineapple fried rice and really enjoyed it. Both dishes tasted super fresh and had a nice variety of veggies. Highly recommend!

My wife and I saw this while driving by and stopped in for lunch. I got some curry with chicken and my wife got chicken ramen with potstickers. The food was top notch, very delicious and fresh tasting. Our service was excellent as well. The chef was knowledgeable about her ingredients since I asked about gluten free options, and she was very friendly and gracious to have us in. We will definitely be back and I recommend Rice and Noodle very highly!

The spicy pad thai is amazing!

Everything was delicious! We ordered potstickers, tom kha soup, pork pad thai, spicy basil noodles, and thai tea. Perfect amount of spice, not too much heat. Generous portions. They also did not load my drink up with ice, which I appreciate. I am happy there is a Thai restaurant on the southside now. Looking forward to ordering from here again!

I’ve been to Thailand and this is as authentic Thai as it gets in Lafayette. Eating here brings me right back to Thailand. Generous portions for a very affordable price and a very polite, and friendly staff. Love it, definitely going to have Thai food more often now that they are open.

We had seen the signs that a Thai restaurant was opening here, and finally got a chance to try it. We ordered pad Thai, mango fried rice, spicy fried rice and basil noodles. The meals had a generous amount of meat, and were a large portion. The flavors were delicious, and the spice levels were perfect. My teenagers are already asking when we can get takeout from here again.

Our order was ready to pickup when we arrived. The space was very clean and the employees were masked. The owners were very friendly and just the sweetest. So happy to have this option on the south side!

Excellent food, fast service, and one of the nicest families I have met run this establishment. I got the cashew chicken entrée and was very good. I have never had this style of food and really enjoyed it. Thank you for your hard work and look forward to more of your meals.

Ordered the shrimp pad ka pow with a spring roll. The food was good and tasted fresh. The portions were a little small, but enjoyable nonetheless. The owners were very nice as well. Glad to have a Thai place on this side of town.
