What a wonderful experience. The new Celadon Thai on Grooms Rd was quick, friendly, and delicious! We've been waiting for the Rosa Road location to reopen for quite a while and it looks like they found a smaller location that's easier to maintain.

From the moment we walked in, everyone was extremely friendly and accommodating at this family owned business. The atmosphere was clean, with a simple deli counter, and colorful pictures of food painted on the walls. My only recommendation would be to dim the cool overhead lights or replace them with warmer bulbs.

To start, we got Thai Ice Tea, which was sweet, bright, and satisfying. Served with an order of Crab Rangoons -- which were also fantastic. They came out steaming hot, filled with that delicious cream cheese and I could practically drink that plumb-based dipping sauce 7 days a week. Very good!

Next, our entrees quickly came out. My partner ordered the Mango Curry which was a red curry with mango, pineapple, bell pepper, and Thai basil. I stole a couple of tastes, and I was thoroughly impressed. It's very basil forward, sweet, and I believe there was coconut milk in the red curry, giving it an amazing balance of flavor. I'll probably order that next time.

My dish was the Pad Thai. Yes, I know that is the most basic dish you could order from a Thai restaurant. But hear me out. I have a certain dish that I order from each type of restaurant as the litmus test to see if they have the basics down or not. For diners, it's a mushroom Swiss burger. At Thai restaurants, it's Pad Thai. And it was everything I hoped. It would be. The perfect amount of crunch. The perfect balance of sweet and savory. The crunch of the bean sprouts and crushed peanuts. The sweet sauce and the chicken. And the perfect consistency of rice noodles. I was very happy with the dish, and now I can move on two other dishes on my future visits -- and there will be several in the next few weeks, LOL.

Overall, I highly recommend Celadon Thai on Grooms Rd. With incredibly friendly staff, delicious food, and reasonable prices, you're guaranteed to have a great meal here.

Very good food. I got the royal (pineapple) curry at spice level 2 with shrimp, pork, beef, and chicken, which I recommend highly. The service is also extremely fast and we were served within minutes. I will definitely be going back.

This Pad Thai is absolutely delicious! The perfect balance of sweet, savory, and tangy flavors with just the right amount of heat. The noodles are perfectly cooked, and the toppings add a great crunch. Definitely a must-try!

We ordered the fried oyster mushrooms and calamari, very delicious!

I tried their food entree the first time and it was okay. Next time I tried their appetizers and entrees, they were terrible and had a bitter after taste. I got really sick after that too. I love their Thai iced tea and the server was very friendly which is why I am giving a 2 star rating but I genuinely think that if they don't improve the quality of food or get a different chef, this business won't last long.

New establishment. First time dining here. Clean, happy environment. Food was hot and very flavorful. Ordered dumplings , pepper steak and pineapple chix stir-fried. Entrees were good sized portions. Service was excellent. Short wait time. Definitely recommend. Will dine here again.

They still need to work out the logistics of the operation. I've ordered take out twice...the first time I waited an additional 15 min past pickup time. Ok, not great but not the end of the world. This time I waited an hour...yes an hour past the pickup time. If I hadn't already paid for it online I would have left after 20 min.

I like the food, but it's literally not worth the time wasted. Waiting an additional hour is a bridge burned and isn't acceptable; which is a shame because I'm literally right down the road and looked forward to this place. I used to get good from the Schenectady location too before it closed.

How fortunate we are to have another Celadon Thai location on Grooms Road in Clifton Park! The vibe is comfy/casual, with fresh flowers on every table and colorful accents throughout. The service is attentive and gracious. And the food is remarkably fresh, beautiful, and delicious! Great care is taken in the preparation and presentation, allowing me to feast first with my eyes before enjoying every bite. I wish I had taken more photos - I will next time! The Fresh Salad Rolls were incredible! The Steamed Dumplings are ethereal! We also shared Chicken Noodles, which was comfort on a plate. I did of course save room for the dessert that makes me swoon, Mango Sticky Rice, and I had the presence of mind to snap a quick pic. Highly recommended!

First time trying here and I was not impressed. Ordered the Fred calamari and it tasted old, dry, rubbery and a lil fishy,I can tell it's from the freezer,not fresh at all.
The main dish wasn't that great either, the curry was very watery and the meat are too tough.

The owners pour their heart into every dish they make. I've been a Celadon Thai Albany customer for a decade, so thrilled to have the newest location in CP. My favorite dish, which I order nearly every-single-week is the Pumpkin Curry w Chicken. 100/100

I go to the Latham one all the time. I’m so happy to see them here in Clifton park now. Their food and staff is wonderful. This is the only Thai food I eat. Best place ever
