Our appetizer was fresh spring rolls. They were a wreck, and a ripoff. Someone couldn't even bother to roll the ingredients enough so they stayed inside? Every place we have ever gone gives you double what we were served. Maybe they ran out... The food didn't taste at all like Thai food. We always get the same dish when trying a new place- Beef Lard Nar and Pad Khee Mao (Thai Drunken Noodles) with Chicken. Both are noodle dishes and the texture of the noodles is critical. Both were mushy and im not sure they were even rice noodles. The seasoning was totally off and not even vaguely tasting like Thai. Will not go back. Also, we have no idea what we paid for what. See the photos of our check.
First time eating here. They used to have a TM Basil in oakbrook mall and I miss it! Not sure if it’s the same owners or different but this place is good. The pot stickers were meh.. they need to add some vinegar with the soy sauce to give it some more flavor but the rest of the food was good.
Hello, I always enjoy sharing my experience with local businesses. This was my second time eating with one of two restaurants Rogelio and family own. My 1st was with El Ranchito catered in to my friend Alex's birthday party. One of the best authentic Mexican meals I have had and catered to his house!!! Nice touch Rogelio! Service and love from a great family! another 5 stars:)) Okay, so last night I met Alex and his family at the Baisi Thai restaurant on 63rd st, just west of Cass on the south side of the st. Upon arriving we met Rogelio, Chef Jesus and Chris who was taking care of our party. These 3 gave us the best of the best when it comes to making sure you go home happy and full:) Outstanding food selection and Chef Jesus runs an amazing kitchen! Chris was always available and made sure we were well taken care of. Rogelio, his wife and family made this night extra special for Alex's son's birthday. I was thankful for all there kindness and loving care to detail when it comes to food. Thank you for reading and order your favorites any time:)))

Wanted Drunken Noodles. They didn't have the name for that dish. Had choices the same way Drunken Noodles are prepared, and I asked what one was close? The waiter steered me to the samething and asked if i wanted the wide noodles? To my amazement, they actually had wide noodles. Other places claim wide noodels, and they are not. Excellent wide noodels! The dish was delicious! Ordered #38 medium hot with chicken!
It is a nice place, kinda private - I like it!
I was in a lunch date with my wife and we had the whole place for ourselves. Sunday around 3pm is clear. 😉
The food is great and we had a great service as well ✅. Our order was taken immediately, the appetizer came out fast and our meals didn't take long.
We will come back many times for sure‼😁👍
I moved out of the area about 2 years ago. Back then I was an avid visitor. I was very disappointed after driving out of my way to return. I ordered the pepper steak spicy and a cucumber salad.
After a while the young guy who took my order came back up front and asked “you wanted no tomatoes right?” I said, I do and I just asked for it spicy. Not even two minutes later he surfaces with my bag to go.
I see a cup of chili sauce so that tells me the spicy didn’t happen until I reminded him. No biggie. I get home to find no tomatoes either. This was no longer a mistake now. This was blatant laziness. Why ask me? To make it worse I find a sticker from the peppers in my food and the steak was completely dry and chewy.
The cucumber salad was basically just diced cucumbers with no taste. My boyfriend ended up putting ranch on them.
I won’t be returning after the intentional laziness. Must be the same crew messing up the egg rolls in the other reviews! Fire him.
Delicioso
I do not recommend this place. Food is not good.
Very relaxing atmosphere, excellent service 10/10 will recommend/come back again!
Great Thai food!!
The spring rolls were awful!! After I watched the guy roll and re-roll 4 times, they still fell apart and they put this nasty sauce on there. Threw them on garbage. What a ripoff!! I never saw a spring roll wrapped like a toddler wrapped it. I witnessed the waitress put the USED white rice from a table she was cleaning BACK INTO THE RICE COOKER!! Nasty, nasty, nasty. The rice noodle dish I had was absolutely disgusting. Stay away.
Walked in and the place was empty. I was excited because that means I can eat in peace. I go to sit down and both tables were sticky and the employee was just sitting there watching TV. If you can't manage to keep the tables clean, I begin to question what the kitchen looks like. Immediately Walked out. Disgusting
MUSLIMS BE AWARE - As a Muslim who has been eating at this restaurant for many many years across all their former franchises… when we asked them numerous times if there is Alcohol used to cook they say no there isn’t, I then kept asking 2-3 weeks ago until I had the chef check the bottle to see if there is and turns out there is alcohol in the item they use to cook the food. I want to warn others who can’t consume alcohol to be careful here and don’t take everything said at face value as they may not be aware.
Im take out garlic shrimp so good thai pepper steak absolutely delicious 😋 I recommend this place five ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I ordered #35 with chicken. DELICIOUS!!! Server was spot on too. Will definitely be back. Often.
I had eaten there 2x with a group. It was outstanding, until I went back & got a carry out on a Monday PM. It was so terrible that I threw it out. I called, & asked if Monday chef was the same.one as the weekend. I was told yes. I couldn't believe it was the same chef from the weekend. I had planned on bringing a group of 10 on some Saturday night, but I won't take the chance of the food being as bad as it was on a Monday night. Very disappointing. Based on posted reviews, it appears that things started going downhill about 6 months or so.
We ordered a take out with Uber Eats. My wife who is a vegetarian ordered Stir Fried Mixed Vegetable with Tofu. They added sea shell sauce and oyster sauce to it. We re-checked the menu to see if we mis-read the labels. We were right. There were no labels that mentioned they were adding oyster sauce. Other vegetarian dishes did mention the oyster sauce.
If you are ordering from this place make you double check the ingredients or speak to the person who is taking the order. I ordered Thai Pepper Steak. The meat was definitely not fresh. This place definitely needs improvement in a lot of areas.
Ordered take out, just two orders of Pad See Ew, one chicken and one beef. Was told the total was $26.26 but got credit card receipt and the total was $27.17, pointed it out and got no apology, just an “Oh yeah”. Then got home to eat and it was not good. Very disappointing Pas See Ew. I’d avoid this place.

The place was dusty and food on the floor and it was empty, the food was close to 50$ and only good thing was crab Rangoon, the noodles were cold, only 2 pieces of chicken when I paid for extra chicken, regardless it was not tasteful.
They do not have a website, call to order

Got some beef and some basil fry rice. Spice was so good wish I could get a bottle of that.
Nice location and prices is reasonable
Best Thai in our area. Try the Kao Soy - it’s better than anything you’ve had. I’ve also enjoyed Pad Thai and various curries. 5 stars for sure. Better for carryout unless you don’t mind that strip mall feel for indoor dining.
I placed an order for sesame chicken, chicken fried rice, and the combination appetizer plate that included fried pot stickers, crab rangoon, chicken satay (chicken on a stick), and egg rolls. I was hungry and git upset when ALL of the chicken was dry and over cooked, I mean ALL. There was very little sesame sauce on the chicken as well. This was to go order and they didn't include any soy sauce, pot sticker sauce, or anything that you would expect from a to go order. The pot stickers, crab Rangoon, and egg rolls were pretty good, which is why I gave them 2 stars instead of 1. I don't know if the dry chicken was because I ordered it at 9pm and they closed at 10pm, but should that matter? I doubt I'll ever order from there again to find out.
One of the best Thai restaurants I have ever been to. I’ve been enjoying this unique establishment since they were in Oakbrook. What a find! Kao Soy is my favorite.
Pad thai had no flavor. Disappointing and won't be returning. Ok service.
Pad Thai was good! Crab Rangoon was lacking filling disappointing. server was very nice food came out quickly. Cool sauce, peppers and peanuts on the side. 7.5/10.
Wanted Drunken Noodles. They didn't have the name for that dish. Had choices the same way Drunken Noodles are prepared, and I asked what one was close? The best
Nice place for a good Thai food. They have Chinese dishes as well. If you pay with cash, they give discount on the total. Portion size is generous and very friendly service.
Overpriced for what I received.2 nasty little sticks of chicken satay,overcooked.4 little pieces of spring rolls when any other restaurant gives at least 8..
Lesson learned
Ordered from here by accident rather than my normal spot. That won't happen again. Burnt chicken no flavor overpriced
I had the Penang Curry. It had shrimp, green beans and eggplant. Thought it was an odd combination for Penang Curry. I would have eaten it, if not for the oddly too creamy, flavorless base. I did takeout, so in the restaurants defense, they did not have the opportunity to correct it. Maybe it was a bad day or picked the wrong item from the menu, but I cannot recommend based from this experience
Love the Kao soy dish here. Have to drive a bit, but worth it. Note that there's an extra fee if you pay with credit card.
Restaurant printed prices that I was charged are much higher then online menu prices( about $15 for a $35 order) that I ordered from. When I pointed out the difference to the girl at the counter she was very rude and said they changed prices 2 weeks ago but did not change them online. Started arguing with me that nothing can be done about it.
Will never order again
The crab Rangoon had barely anything in it, and was burned. The eggrolls were burned as well. The basil fried rice, pad Thai looked and tasted bad. The place was dirty. It was a waste of money
It's decent. Quick service. Consistent dishes. Again
Great food. The wait staff was polite. Food came in quick. Glad to have a nearby Thai restaurant the serves tasty Thai cuisine.
Had Chicken Pad Thai today and it was amazing! thanks for the great lunch.
Noodles tasted like they had been cooked in old oil. So disgusting.
I love the food in here. Rates are very reasonable.
We have driven past this place a hundred times and always wanted to stop. Well, we did last Friday night. Very good Thai food. We had the chicken pad Thai and the basil chicken. Both were very good. Reasonable prices and good portions. Very friendly staff also. Highly recommend.
this place was absolutely amazing very delicious and clean. i love this place so much the best thai i’ve ever had!! i will definitely be coming back!! the service is so kind as well!
it was such a disappointment, the food was just disgusting. the ingredients were old, oversoaked in sauce. you just don't provide food like this to a paying customer. Please find another Thai place and stay away from this one. They don't deserve to have customers, they should be closed for good!
Nice little Thai Restaurant, you would miss it if you were not looking.
Service was disappointing. The red chili paste was good. Food was mediocre.
Got the basil chicken rice twice this week the 1st time (Monday) it was really good. The second time (Wednesday) it didn't taste good at all seemed like completely different dish. The food is pricy here for the amount of food you get.
You have to try the Kao Soy, it's delicious.
The food was amazing, the staff friendly as well as helpful. Will absolutely return.
I have been going to this Thai restaurant for years. It has changed addresses a couple of times since, but the food still great. New location same great food and excellent service.
Coming from the state of Alabama. Me and my family tried out Baisi Thai. I was outstanded with the waitress and food, very friendly. The best food we think are the best is the garlic shrimp and seafood deluxe. We all will come back to this place when we visit back.🤤😃
Coming from Alabama to visit over here. And found this restaurant in Westmont and we decided to try it out. We ordered some dishes and the whole family enjoyed it. The favorite out of all was the garlic shrimp 🤤. Come and try it out if close by, so so delicious.
Came here once before, wasn't impressed but thought I'd give it another go. And once again it didn't fail to disappoint. Food wasn't by any means impressive. Thai was more like Chinese with vinegar. Charged me for using a card (without notifying me they would).
Won't be returning.
Their Pad Thai is one of the best I have ever had.
Esqisita comida servicio excelente
Baisi thai Is a very good and delicious place I always get the chow main noddles and they are very good another food that I recommend is the garlic shrimp 🍤/orange chicken does are my favorites who ever saw this post please come and try the food here because is 10/10 the food the servers are very nice and chill so come try this place and enjoy your day with a very good food IN BAISI THAI

Discovered this restaurant today - was delicious! So glad to have a good Thai place close to home.
I honestly don’t like leaving average reviews but this place wasn’t that good. The service was not that great. Some items I ordered were good, but others were a miss. I informed the manager of the quality of an item, but he was dismissive and didn’t take my input seriously. I hope this place turns it around, but for now I don’t recommend this place.
Food was pretty good but the menu has the dish labeled spicy and there was absolutely zero spice. That isn't exaggeration, there was no spice. They don't seem to follow their menu closely so be sure ask for spice
My favorite dish is the garlic shrimp and the employees are very nice! I really reccomend that place!
Good and deliciuos, not pricy thai food. Clean simple environment. Take out option. Good variety of different food to choose from. My husband said here is the best "hot and sour" soup he ever had. They have not only "hot and sour" and "won ton" soups as in menu. I was offered "tom kha gai" and "tom yum" also. Manager always greet politely and with simile. Really recommend this place.
Got wrong food twice.I will never return.
This is the best Thai food in the area! Delicious and average priced. Will definitely be back!

My 1st time having thai food and it was delicious! Very friendly staff. Cool experience.
The Pad Thai was good, but the spring rolls were truly awful. I don't understand how anyone could possibly find them acceptable.
Small, unassuming little place in a strip mall. Wasn't expecting much...and was pleasantly surprised. Really nice flavor at reasonable price. Will be back.
Great food and service! Highly recommended for sure!! Thanks Michelle and Chris!!!
So glad we found this, I had the Oyster Beef -very good quality cut beef & flavor.
Spring rolls were a bit different presentation but good. Egg rolls were flaky and crispy.
As with much Thai food - portions were enough for one person (no leftovers) about $11 Entrees.
We will be back!
I tried the pad Thai & it was quite tasty! I ordered it with chicken and medium spicy and it was a perfect level of spice, for those who enjoy a bit of fire but still want to taste what they are eating. 😉
The prices are good and you get your money's worth.
The place is clean and very simple. No real atmosphere except a friendly and helpful waiter. Maybe that's to come! I will definitely return to try some of their other dishes.
The best Thai food I’ve had!! I will return soon again!!
The food is awesome......
THE BEST THAI IVE EVER HAD!
Great food. Good price. Recommended.
Amazing food amzing service amazing decorations overall i really nice little place would go again.
I was pleasantly surprised by the good food and affordable price. The garlic shrimp will be my all time fave! Will be going back there pretty soon!
