Thai & Vietnamese dishes plus Japanese sushi served in a casual, contemporary restaurant.
We were a little hesitant to visit this place but were craving badly for Thai food; we weren’t disappointed at all.
Every order was absolutely amazing and tasty. The server was very friendly to us and also helped in deciding our orders and adjusting it according to our preferences. The spice level was just perfect and the taste was overall very good.
Ordered my pork pad Thai with everything on the side so I could mix it in to my preference. I asked for it to be spicy and it was not spicy at all. The noodles were very mushy and the plate was kind of too sweet for my taste. I really was disappointed in my plate. The food is pricey since you are downtown. Over 20 dollars for this and a sweet tea. I will most likely not be going back. This was my second time coming back after a few years with the same type of experience.
Came here for a late lunch at 2 PM on a Tuesday. We ordered the appetizer combo with fresh spring rolls, Thai crispy egg rolls and pot stickers. For our entree, we ordered the stir fry with chicken and vegetables, and the Tom Mee with beef. Everything was hot and perfect to the taste! This is a must go to place.
Sounds good, but unable to order online and phone number for restraunt doesn't work...
This place is fire..... amazing food and awesome atmosphere. Only thing is the owner/waitress judges you before arriving. I love this and will keep coming back, because the food is AMAZING!!!
This is absolutely my go-to spot! Not only is the food amazing, but the staff are so genuine, friendly, and will accommodate any particular request.
I love their green curry (I ask for cilantro to be added).
The potstickers are delicious (I prefer steam and to add garlic because that’s just my taste, but they’re just as good as they come!).
The spicy edamame is fresh and has so much flavor, and the cucumber salad is such a nice refresher!
Don’t miss out on this gem!
Poor quality meat.
I enjoyed the iced tea.
Wrong information when asked about the spiceciness.
Mean
Good food, fast service, I had the seaweed salad and garlic lovers.

Vietnamese sweet and sour soup very very good. Glad to stumble across this noodle shop!
Blank walls and country music was a bit unexpected when we came in for a late lunch. The food was flavorful and had acceptable portion sizes.
Food is so good and is surprisingly fast to get to the table! Definitely authentic, cozy atmosphere that complements the food amazingly. Highly recommended!
The food was so dang yummy and flavorful. I love finding Thai food places when I travel and I wish this place was in my hometown. It wasn’t busy so it was nice to escape the busy of the river walk.
*RAT by the ac * I know its downtown and it can’t be avoided but I could not eat after seeing a huge rat.
The food is not that great at all! I ordered pad Thai and the noodle were over cooked and it wasn’t appetizing at all! I ate as much as I could but I was disappointed because how do you mess up padthai
Our group of 7 from out of town wandered in, and we are SO glad we did. We all ordered something different, and none of us were disappointed. Very fresh, very delicious, very friendly! YUM!
We had a large party of 8 and had a wonderful time experience! We order a variety of food and nothing disappointed! The drunken noodles, pad mee, and clay pot were the three favorites! We will definitely come back!
Amazing place! The food is so delicious and the staff is wonderfully caring. The only downside (which is pretty minor) is that it has a small dining space.
Love this little hidden gem! Food was amazing!! Will definitely be back!
There was a gnat in my water, and I counted at least three in the dish I ordered. I was visiting SA and decided to try this place due to its high reviews. I did not tell the staff about the gnats, admittedly, because I felt bad. The staff was really nice. Instead, I went ahead, paid the bill, and left. If you don’t mind bugs in your food, then by all means. As for me, I can’t.
Food was excellent. Flavors were mouthwatering. The presentation was appealing. Our new favorite lunch place in the downtown San Antonio area.
Delicious dishes and friendly staff. We got the basil stir fry which was full of flavor but not overly spicy.
The food tasted off. Pad Thai was very disappointing.
Food was delicious, and the lady took good care of us
Very good authentic Thai food!
Really good bento box with a variety of food!
The food is overpriced for the food quality and portion size, and the service was fair. Will not be eating here again and do not recommend. We were not at all satisfied with this food.
I went in with my roomate, we were sat down immediately, not an issue, but the staff there is all the old ladies, they forget stuff and cannot explain the menu properly, its not that I'm complaining, but it causes inconvenience for the diners.
I had Bento Box A, and it was delicious, especially the chicken Pad Thai.
Had the udon noodle soup and the hot and sour soup along with edamame appetizer. Food was ok--kind of basic.
They take phone orders, don’t be fooled when you place an order on phone.. they will start working on the order only after payment.
When I asked about this behavior their response was don’t ask me ask them..

The Thai food here is amazing! Definitely better than the 3.9 average, I give it at least 4.8
Very nice service and tasty food here. Really loved the Tom kha soup and Fried rice. Very friendly and polite.
I'm a huge fan of Thai Food and eat it every chance I get. Food in this place is mediocre at best. Not a Thai flavor you're expect. Portion size was small and tasteless. Don't recommend.
This place has mouth watering Thai food. That would surely bring you to your knees begging for more.
Love the atmosphere and the food was amazing.
Wow wow wow! The food is spectacular. I've been there twice and everything is delicious. Best Pad Thai I've ever eaten. Service is very friendly - amazing. Shocked that it hasn't a least 4,8 stars. Sometimes you shouldn't trust the score of a Google review
No fuss place that has THE MOST authentic tasting Thai food I have had in a long time. I saw it across the street from my hotel and ate there for two meals. The Lao style papaya salad was a burst of flavor. The pad see ew had the charred wok taste that I can never replicate at home. The crispy eggrolls came with all the accoutrements that is essentially authentic. The red curry noodle dish was sooo good. I will definitely be back every time I’m in town.
Atmosphere is relaxing , food is great. The staff catered to our every request. Will definitely come back at our next visit
Stopped in on a quick visit to San Antonio, wow, were we happy we chose this place. The food was outstanding. I taste the massaman in every town I visit, this is one of the best!
They changed their name to KK Thai Lao & Sushi, so if you’re calling the old number from the old page and not getting an answer, you know why. Pretty much the same menu, just a different name.
I ordered the appetizer sampler and it was very good, came with egg rolls, spring rolls and gyoza. I’ve had sushi here before too and it wasn’t the best, avocado was brown inside the sushi but other than that not a bad place to stop in for lunch.
Not sure why this place is not rated higher. Best tasting food I've had at our stay at San Antonio.
Food was excellent! Reasonable priced, we will be back.
Always delicious
Lunch portions were the smallest I've ever seen for "large". I don't want to know what they consider a small. The food was tasty, but the ingredients and portions did not match the $$$. Service was nice
Discovered while on a walk near our hotel and it was delicious. Service was excellent and we enjoyed “people watching” as we sat near a front window. Give them a try!
I had lunch, ordered spicy edamame and the massaman with Tofu.
The food came out promptly and I have to admit I was pleasantly surprised at how good it all tasted.
It felt as if the food was fresh and made with love.
I have only had spicy edamame from Sushi Zushi and I thought they were good until I tried the same dish here.
The spicy edamame at this location was fantastic.
If you're in the area, you don't have to think twice about this location, go and enjoy some good food.
Everything was delicious from the egg drop soup (which is the best I've ever had) to the entrees were all so delicious would recommend to anyone and the service is great 👍
Excellent food, best Thai curry I’ve had
Delicious authentic Thai. Make sure to get the potstickers they are handmade and amazing. Restaurant was clean and tidy. Very friendly staff.
Great service. Taste in the food is delicious. Courteous and respect service to clients. Typical price in the menu fluctuate from $10 to $20.
I almost don't want ro post this because then everyone will be at my favorite Thai place. Everything I ordered was delicious and fresh. Thank you for an Authentic Thai experience and big ups to Julian! We'll be back as often as possible.
Great Thai and super friendly!!
Excellent drunken noodles, better staff.
Wonderful service and absolutely delicious food. Great calm atmosphere and fantastic people. Definitely coming back when we're in town.
I went a few minutes after closing, they still helped me and cooked food for me and my family when all the other places just said no. Thank you all for such a humble gesture. The food was amazingly good and tasty. Thank you!!
Fantastic food and fantastic service! I had the green curry, you should try it too!
Some of the best Thai food I've ever had
Awesome Tom Kha and great job on their curries.
This is a terrific little place to get an inexpensive meal just steps from the Alamo. I've tried quite a few of their dishes and they are all hot, fresh, and beautifully spiced.
Terrible terrible food. Miso soup tasted like it had been in a pot for days, pad Thai was underwhelming with little to no taste, and my egg drop soup was literally a gelled porridge white/clear in color. I can only say the porridge “soup” had great flavor but was like drinking half melted jello.
Disappointed, they claim to have sushi but they didn't even have a menu for sushi in the restaurant. I had to go to GrubHub to look at the sushi menu. Which was really no menu. They had like 5 sushi rolls to choose from. And they had no sashimi not happy.
My family and I walked down toThai Lao Orchid from the Alamo for some lunch today. We were in there for about 5 minutes. The hostess was very kind but unfortunately when she handed me the menu a cockroach crawled out of it and down the table. There was no working AC and the tables and chairs were sticky. I am sure this place could be great but they really need a health inspector to come in and assess the situation.
Food was ok. Not just that but a day later to find out I get charged more than I put on my total. I left a tip as well and still get more money taken away than was suppose too. Just keep a heads up
I ordered from Uber Eats. The food arrived on time. However, the pad thai tasted terrible. It had a reddish color and a weird taste. The beef isn't cook through and the shrimp is rubbery. I would love my money refunded. I will never order from here again.
Nice customer service. Tasty appetizer. Main course was a little cold & undercooked. Vegetables weren't fresh.
No one ever answers the phone!... Not everyone wants to use door dash or Uber eats....
We only parked in front to go to Paris hatters
Absolutely terrible. Spring rolls had no shrimp and overcooked noodles. Chicken was clearly frozen and had awful flavor.
I love this place! I haven't been disappointed by the amount and preparation of their meals. Very tasty and delicious.
THE BEST PAD WOONSENT EVERRRRR!! Everyone is amazing and very friendly.
The pho they have wasnt good its really hard to get it wrong but i guess it depends on the day, would not recommend.
Quiet restaurant, good service, friendly server, pad Thai basil was excellent!!!
4-1/2 Stars.. not quite a 5-star dining experience but amazing food for the value, great customer service and a very cozy environment.
Went at 7:40 and they told me that they were closed. They were fairly polite about it, though.
Food was great! Easily on par with many up-scale Thai style restaurants we've been. It's nice to have a place near the Riverwalk area that's NOT generic and bland tex-mex. We will definitely be coming back!!
Food was great Good service the restaurant needs serious updating
Great Sesame Chicken, Curry, and Thai Tea! Definitely coming back!
Super good taste, yellow curry tofu my favourite,
Average food, decent price. Not much to say.
The Pad Se Ew was fantastic!! One of the best I've had in all the World!
It was delicious and very enjoyable. Very highly recommend the Moo Thod it was exquisite that pork was some of the best I've had. Overall highly recommend checking this place out.
Having lived in Thailand for years, I can say the curry tasted authentic and delicious.
Mediocre at best. Try another Thai restaurant
Some of the best Thai I've had. Will need to try again before going to 5 stars
Good food in a rustic setting downtown. Bad service.
Worst curry chicken I've ever had. No taste, barely any chicken, and very thin/runny. I ordered curry chicken and a side of rice for about 16 dollars, and there was barely any food. Total waste of money, unfortunately I got it delivered otherwise I wouldve gotten my money back.
Excellent service and fabulous food. Definitely worth the stop. Incredible spring rolls, drunken noodles, and pad thai
Amazing restaurant. Very friendly staffing and Great authentic food
Food tastes good, small cozy place.
Excellent food, but space is kind of tight
Worst place! Wanted to give zero but there was no option. Online info stated place was open until 9pm and the restaurant had their open sign on. As soon as we opened the door the guy yelled out stating they were closed loudly and turned us away. Should have known from the other bad reviews - not to take a chance!!!!
I would give 0 stars if that were an option. Worst customer service EVER. Despite the OPEN sign being clearly illuminated, and other customers eating in plain sight from the street, when we walked in the door, the man behind the counter rudely yelled at us to "get out, we're closed". I usually believe in giving restaurants a second chance, but not when they rudely shun customers at the door.
Worst Thai restaurant ever. When we entered, the place didn't have good smell, that should've been our first warning. Pad Thai is basic dish and I've eaten it in several places, this was worst and the chicken was not cooked well or just bad chicken. Don't go to this place.
This place has amazing Red Curry, I’ve had a lot a ton different restaurants and this one is the best hands down. Everything else I had was extremely tasty and the staff was extremely attentive. 10/10 would eat again.
I've ordered the lemon chicken before.
It was very good. I also never ate the soup I ordered. The miso soup looked good and I'll order it again.
The Lemon chicken was delicious. Wonderful breading and very generous. I had these items to go.
Today I had time to sit and enjoy. I ordered me favorite, Pad Thai. It was very good! Probably the second best place I've tried in San Antonio. I can't remember the other place.
I was really happy they had the chili sauce I like. I just drank water but next time I'll order the Thai ice tea.
Thank you for the great food. The service was quick. Very attentive. The kitchen was noisy and busy and they were working hard and having fun.
Great option in the heart of down town.
Excellent Thai food at an affordable price. Must stop by if you're in the downtown area!! The owner is friendly and very welcoming.
amazing food. great service. a+
Best thai food in town
Food was ok but they cheated us on the bill by $30. Didn't notice until I did the math like 2 hrs later when I looked up the charge. Also the utensils used were not very clean. My glass had a dirty smudge mark on the inside of the glass they were serving water in. Overall very disappointing visit.
Wonderful as usual! I had the chicken pho and it's great! Service is good and the servers are friendly and helpful.
Good food, nice atmosphere.
Ordered the Panang Curry and was sorely disappointed. The sauce was not very flavorful and the chicken had even less flavor. I don't review places often if at all, but I wouldn't recommend this place. Having traveled to both Thailand and Laos this was a poor representation of how good this dish can be.
The food was fantastic. I had the pad ginger and my friend had the drunken noodles. We are both completely satisfied. Could not recommend this establishment enough.
Best thai around.
Dingy place with Chinese fast food flavors.
The food is good but theres nothing authentic about it.
Tasty and delicious. The potions are a bit small. But this place is always slow so you should try it out soon.
The food is on point. The place is small and when the grill got fired up I kept choking on the smoke. If you have asthma I would go when it is not so busy. When we walked in we were greeted immediately, but the person just pointed at a table, told us to grab a menu and sit. Not what I expected from a "service" restaurant. Not really that big of a deal though and like I said the food was awesome. Thai tea was really good too.
The food was so damn good and the place was packed however... the huge turn off was the fact that they sacrifice customer service for efficiency which doesn't make you feel good after and while eating a delicious meal. I had the Bangkok fried rice and the pot stickers, both were phenomenal. You lost two stars for lackluster performance and lack of fortitude under pressure.
Fantastic pho & Thai food. Great little hidden gem.
Food and service is pretty good. I would go again.
This is the only place I’ve ever found that has canchour soup. It is billed as “Vietnamese Hot & Sour,” but that description is too simple. It is sweet, SPICY, crunchy and complex. Truly unique.
Food was awesome! So flavorful and well prepared. Nothing fancy and prices were reasonable. I had the Fresh Spring Rolls w/chicken and Chicken Satay. My husband had Drunken Noodles.
Didn't get a chance to try the food because I used the pre order on their website but apparently the order never went through.
We were running short on time due to convention times hence using the website to preorder. The system is poor and the worker there said they never even got our order. Their website hours and Google hours are differennt.
Again, did not try the food so this review is solely towards the online ordering system.
Food is delicious, service is good and fast. Love this place.
Yellow curry with pork was delicious. Wife thought lemongrass with beef was great as well. Owner was our waiter and service was tremendous. Will definitely eat here again.
This is the worst pad Thai I have ever had. I am so disappointed..it is so dry and has no flavor. I’m beyond frustrated that I just paid $12 for something that’s not even worth eating.
It took about 40 minutes for our food to come out because there was only one chef working the evening we visited, but we were patient and understanding. The food itself was decent enough when it finally arrived. However, even though the manager was apologetic about the slow service, his demeanor changed once the bill came to our table. Though the restaurant says it "accepts credit card", the manager will insist you pay him cash only and direct you to withdraw money from an ATM at a seedy-looking dive bar across the street, except the ATM was broken that night. I only had a $20 bill on me for the $27 check but once I pulled out the cash the manager's eyes grew wide with greedy delight and all of a sudden he was fine charging the remaining $7 on credit card.
It was such an awful sketchy experience and after reading all the other Yelp reviewers saying the same thing happening to them, I would bet that some tax fraud is probably going on in this business. I will never come back here again and I highly advise everyone else to steer clear as well. There are better Thai restaurants out there that actually deserve business.
Extremely over priced for very little food.
Good Thai food down town SA
Green curry is good
The owner would add so many extra charges on your bill, and will steal your money.
