Familiar Thai fare, including green curry, cashew chicken & papaya salad, served in a relaxed space.
I come for lunch most Sundays after church. The service is personal and polite. We are getting to the point where they just know my order! I do like to change it up to keep them guessing! Wonderful Thai!
I had Thip's for the first time last Friday night, and it was outstanding. It was also my first time trying Pad Thai level 3, and crab rangoons and I absolutely loved it. The peanuts, noodles, and tamarind sauce were simply amazing. The next day, I returned for another Pad Thai level 3 and crab rangoons with my cousin and brother, who ordered the general tso's spice levels 3 and 4, respectively, and they both enjoyed the food. I truly enjoy this restaurant, and as a local, I will continue to support Thip's. Such good cuisine and a really attentive staff!
I go here about all the time and as a college student I find this place really affordable (key is I always eat lunch here, lunch ends at 3). Also love the servers there with all my soul, the whole place is therapeutic to go to and enjoy. I'd give this place more than 5 stars if I could!
A hidden gem 💎 we were supposed to go to a different restaurant and it was closed so we divided to try this place out and I didn't not regret it all I had the curry soup and it was very flavorful nice portions was perfect also got the khing pric thia it was lovely full of flavor it had more of a peanut flavor bit it was very delicious. We also had an appetizer
Love this place!
Ridiculous! $27 for pad see ew?
Very disappointed with Tipps. While we’ve frequented Tipps, this past experience left us wondering if we’ll be back. Placed an order for pick up and it took 50 minutes to get my order (when I was told it would be 25 minutes). When I got home, there very little protein in the two meals I ordered. For the prices charged, I was very disappointed in the service and food.
Just found this restaurant and is now my number one place to eat. Food is fresh and great flavors. Workers are all super friendly!

Amazing food service is A+, prices are reasonable, excellent soup

Absolutely amazing. Hands down my new favorite place. service and food was fantastic.
I'm going to try and be fair about this, rather than go off on a rant.
Food overall is pretty good. Try ordering the Cucumber Sauce - $2.59. You'll be paying about 30 cents for EACH tiny chunk of cucumber. Not going back.
Had the cashew chicken. It would of been good except for the fact that it was made with leftover rewarmed chicken. Chicken was inedible due to that nasty warmed up flavor that leftover chicken gets.
Best Thai in the area!
Food was good and the girl who worked the counter was awesome
Thips has THE BEST Thai food around, hands down. Green and red curries are consistently good. Fried spring rolls are crispy and tasty. Service is always friendly.
Awesome as usual!
Great food. Great service. Greta dessert.
Great food great service. Will be back again for sure.
Marie was great! Made the dinning experience fun and inviting.
Excellent green curry and wonderful chewy udon noodles. Fast service.
Amazing food. Great service!
Ate at many Thai places, and the food here was terrible. Son in law got sick. My daughter ordered no-spice twice in her dish and was very spicy each time. Waitress forgot my soup, but was very friendly, but still good server. Will not eat here again because of how bad the food was.
Ordered food to go... pad woon sen with chicken and pad Thai with chicken
I've eaten pad Thai literally hundreds of times ... pad Thai sauce is brown, nutty, salty and a touch of sweet.. this sauce was very sweet and acrid... it was almost zesty and acidic ... not salty, not nutty, not anything near pad Thai sauce ive ever had... idk if this was a new cook or someone drunk or playing jokes. The pad woon Sen was bone dry... literally no sauce on the dish and I could pick the entire dish up off the plate with a fork all at once because literally all the noodles were stuck together with zero sauce. This meal was pathetic. A pathetic attempt at a $33 meal. Could have done better at Wendy's.
Outstanding food and great customer service! Veggies and tofu was delicious. Pad thai and tofu was great.
Delicious Thai menu, the lunch menu is a great value with many options for a lunch menu. Your choice of "heat/spicy" levels is a bonus. Staff is friendly and helpful and even when the restaurant is packed they are working hard to take care of everyone. You can't go wrong with lunch or dinner.
Their food is always fresh and delicious. We've been coming here for years.
Great food and friendly staff
The food is delicious! Christina ( waitress) is such a delight. She will help you find a great meal. She has tons of suggestions. I will be back!
I've never had a bad experience here. Food is delicious and the staff is always friendly. Try their lumpia and curry, it won't disappoint.
Best ThI food in the Metro East
Workers/customer service was absolutely TERRIBLE. I am black, they were 100% racist. This is not the first Thai restaurant I have been to regularly so when I went to this specific location, I was treated very rudely and obnoxious. The ladies were constantly kicking and slamming the kitchen door (which was near where I was seated) very loudly, obviously irritated or mad that me and my boyfriend had arrive in their restaurant. My wonton soup was supposed to be shrimp but instead I was served with chicken wonton soup. When I asked could my Order be corrected, the ladies immediately began yelling at me and telling me that I was the only person complaining about my order. When they brought me out my shrimp that was supposed to originally be with my order, the shrimp was NASTY. It was improperly cleaned, I could literally see the poop lines in my broth, it was absolutely DISGUSTING!!! They got mad because I did not want it and wanted a refund, and started cursing at us. We got our money back for the wonton soup and left but had a totally disrespectful experience and definitely experienced racism first hand from these Thai ladies. There were two older white ladies in the restaurant before us who were treated with the utmost respect. We were treated like dirt as soon as we walked through the door by the older Thai ladies, not the youngest one. She was actually extremely nice and polite but ONLY her. Also I asked for level one spice and they made my soup level 4 or 5 on purpose.
I’ve been visiting Thips for years at this point and each time we go the food is wonderful! Even my must go to each year for my birthday meal :D
Each dish I’ve had has been flavorful and very fresh.
In addition to great food, the service we’ve been provided is amazing!
We are so thankful for this wonderful restaurant!
Great quality food with wonderful people!
I've been to many Thai restaurants, and this one is the ONE. I got a spicy level 2 green curry and a Thai tea, and WOW, it was all so delicious! The presentation was on point. You can tell they care about their menu. They deserve all the stars!
I ordered General Tso's Chicken & it looked like pig slop!!! Super soggy & soaked in sour sauce. Tasted spoiled & sour!!! My husband & I called up there to get the issue resolved twice. The manager refused to talk on the phone or provide any resolution at all. The female hostess that answered the phone was a total snob
IN response to the reply the owner is a complete, condescending liar!! They were so unprofessional with my husband & I!! He called first, was disrespected & hung up on!! I called second & tried to reason with them & then was hung up on!! They told me it was my fault. I even asked them who would want slop like this?? I asked to speak with the owner, for a substitute & for a refund but they laughed in my face & told me flat out no!!! She said I would have to pay for anything new. The hostess wanted to argue!! I NEVER CURSED AT ANYONE! THE SAME RUDE WAITRESS ANSWERED THE FEW TIME WE CALLED! I ALSO DIDN'T YELL! I RAISED MY VOICE BECAUSE THE IMBECILE ON THE PHONE WAS OUT TALKING ME & RAISING THERE VOICE FIRST. MY ENERGY MATCHED HERS AT THAT POINT. The extras I ordered specifically said to add to the fried rice
Holy smokes the Tom Kha soup hit my SOUL! Service was friendly, restaurant was clean. 100% recommend. 10/10!!
Love the food alway a great place to eat
Hands down, my favorite Thai spot! Not just in our area, but ANYWHERE. I try Thai restaurants in almost every city I visit, and they never compare. I recommend the pad kai kapao, the basil herb fried rice, the tom yum soup, the pad Thai, and spring rolls!! But I've never had anything I didn't love, you can't go wrong.
The Pad Thai was cool I'm going to add more veggies next time the Crabragoons are delicious
Sauces are not as thick as they use to be. Portions are on the smaller side compared to your China king style.
My wife and I have eaten here three times since moving to O’Fallon. The curry is great. 3 heat is about as hot as I can go. The wife always gets something different. Curry soup this time and it was very good. The Thai Tea is delicious. I’m always reluctant to try new drinks, but after a sip of my wife’s, I got one for myself. Good place to eat.
Took myself out on a lunch date for Larb Gai. Delicious 🤤 and service was great!
Love this place!
This is one of our favorite places in town. We eat here frequently. The food is excellent as is the service. They offer a military discount.
Great service and food was delicious!
Great food.
Been coming here for 15 years but lately the service is terrible. They have one person working the inside, there were maybe 5 tables. Took half an hour for our food to even start coming out and then they bring out one thing at a time 5 minutes apart from each other. An order of spring rolls....5 minutes later, a bowl of rice....5 minutes later, noodles. By the 3rd thing I was ready to walk out. Meanwhile to-go orders are flying out the door. Either give the people that come into your restaurant decent service or make it 100% to-go. That meal INFURIATED me.
Great food! Wonderful staff!
I will start by saying I have eaten here for years and loved it. I raved about the place to my son and he was taking me on a date here for Mother’s Day today. Well, they served him soured shrimp that had to have smelled terrible before they cooked it and decided to put it on his plate. He took one bite and had a look on his face that told me something was wrong. He asked me to try it so I took a bite and almost threw up. I politely called the girl behind the register to our table and whispered that the shrimp was bad. She took it back to the cook and you could literally hear her yelling. My son felt so bad. The lady then comes out and tells us we are still paying for the shrimp because this most be the first time my son had shrimp. My son told her he had shrimp before. She then asked if this was our first time there like that made a difference. He told her he would try the dish with beef instead. When she was walking back to the kitchen, she turned around and said something under her breath and gestured to my son. At this point, I got up, banged on the kitchen door and told her not to bother fixing him anything else and we were leaving. My dish was delightful and I hated to leave but I can tell you I will never eat here again and will no longer recommend them to anyone. I’m sure I have encouraged MANY friends yo eat here but those days are OVER.
Love this place! we go almost weekly! I love the Pad Greenbeans with Chicken. I usually get a 2 spice but get a 3 spice if I feel I need an extra little heat that day.
It’s always a good day when I can have Thip’s for lunch. The noodle soup is fantastic.
My favorite Thai restaurants in the area. The food is consistently great and the staff is very friendly. I've ordered the Shrimp Chu Chi several times -- definitely recommend!
Outstanding Thai food. Love Thip’s! Best in the area!
The food was absolutely wonderful! I was looking for somewhere to eat that had gluten-free, egg-free, and dairy-free options. Thips Thai has gluten-free and vegan options clearly marked on their menu. I asked about the summer rolls because I didn’t see them listed on the lunch menu and they happily let me order them anyway. They were able to accommodate my dietary needs and acted it was no big deal. The staff was very pleasant and friendly. I will definitely have to return here the next time I’m near St. Louis.
First time here, very good! Wish they were in our neighborhood.
Always fabulous food!
Took over an hour and twenty minutes to get our food for lunch and they only had a few other patrons, food was just ok. Aroy Thai is a better choice
Love this place..very nice..accomodating..Waitstaff are the best..Food fresh and delicious..generous portions
Great food and service!
Great food, great service. Especially that Teagan. So friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend.
Ordered takeout. Based on the price, I expected more. 2nd visit within a matter of months with last one not being much better. Ordered veggie/rice noodle dish. Few noodles, no mushrooms or tomatoes as I asked for. Box half full. More sauce than anything. As if that was the last of dish prepared. Presentation when dining in is much better. If ordering take out again, will check food prior to leaving.
Great dining experience again. We had the Tom Kha, Larb Gai, appetizer sampler, Udon Noodles, and Panang Curry. All were amazing. We ordered a 3 and I do think it could have been a little spicier so don't be scared to order a little spicier than you prefer.
Legit Thai food! Green chicken curry was phenomenal, and the spring rolls were perfect.
Casual atmosphere, but serious cuisine! We had red and green curry and it was perfect flavor and spice level. I look forward to coming back and trying something else on the menu!
Great food and service
My favorite local Thai place! I’m here way too often 😅 best time to try them is at lunch. Their lunch menu is affordable and great portion size! And includes the most delicious soup you can only get at lunch! A must try place, haven’t brought anyone who didn’t enjoy it! My favorite is the chicken Kang Karee, hot green tea, chicken satay, spring rolls. But also haven’t tried anything that wasn’t great! Also love me some of the sesame chicken every now and then.
Really good food. Nice atmosphere and great experience. Will definitely go back
Our waitress was very friendly and outgoing. She made great recommendations and really knew the chef's capabilities well. Food was great and tasty.
Good food and excellent service
Great coconut tofu curry.
Closest authentic Thai cuisine around here! Couldn’t believe they actually had papaya salad. Stoked!
Ordered ahead for pick up, had the pepper steak and panang chicken curry, so good!! I also highly recommend the Thai Tea!!! My favorite beverage!!
I've had several coworkers recommend Thip's Thai Cuisine and I finally stopped in to see if the talk was true. The short answer is YES! Their dining area was clean and well maintained. My waitress was friendly and very helpful when I asked for a recommendation. Normally, I go for Pad See Eew when I get Thai but I wanted to try something different, she suggested the Udon Noodles and I got that with chicken as the meat. First came their lunch soup. It had a rich, meaty bullion flavor with green onion and a hint of something sweet. I gulped that down in an instant...AWESOME! Then came the lunch plate with a spring roll. It was cooked and seasoned to perfection /drool. I got it at spicy heat level 1, I wanted a little heat but not enough to overpower the dish. The chili paste sauce was the secret star the show. I couldn't tell what seasonings were used but it took the whole dish to the next level of goodness. This was my first time trying Udon Noodles and I loved everything about it. The texture, smell, and taste was awesome in every way. It had me working my chop sticks hard to get every bite. Finally, I had a good conversation with the staff and they were simply delightful to get to know. Places like this are well worth anyone's time for the quality food and service. They were kind enough to pose for a picture that's posted here and I was very honored to meet these amazing people. Thip's Thai Cuisine will impress you, do yourself a favor and give them a try!
The vegan options are curry’s and 2 appetizers.
Our order was the green curry (lvl 1 spice since green curry is already the spiciest) yellow curry (lvl 2) both with white rice and the fried tofu as a to go order.
The tofu is honestly good. It’s not fried so much that it can’t absorbed the sauce. However they gave it to us in a paper bag so when we got home guess what broke (we were lucky and it was over one of the bowls)
The curry’s were alright. The flavors were present but not bold. The veggies were still quite firm. I personally like a softer potato in my yellow curry.
The young lady that helped us with the menu & took our order was an experience. Very energetic and authentic with who she is.
30-ish minute wait time, we were in during a slower time.
If there were more vegan options I’d go back to try something new.
Always 5 star service and taste. They were completely filled to capacity for lunch today and still handled everything smoothly. Love this place!
I love their papaya salad, chicken satay, beef pad see ew and their fried rice! Very flavorful and fresh. Best Thai cuisine in O’Fallon. The others don’t compare!
No flavor at all...not worth the money!
Fabulous food. Quick service. Very pleasantly decorated. Highly recommend
It was OK. Staff was super nice and service was excellent. My friend really liked her meal, but mine was super salty (and I LOVE salt). I might try again to see if a different dish is better.
Tasty Thai cuisine and a very friendly staff. The noodle soup is excellent!
Amazing Food!
The curry is on point!
Pretty good Thai food for the area.
Spicy!!
Great food and customer service.
Great Thai place. Their tofu or chicken pad Thai and golden pillow are our go tos and they never disappoint. Crab ragoon aren't as good as China Kings, but they're yummy and have a stronger chive flavor which is great.
I typically don’t do reviews unless it’s horrible and I have to warn others. But this place is the bee’s knees!
I’ve tried 10 +other local Thai restaurants and they were more expensive and hit or miss on quality and service.
I always come back here and have been for over 20 years (location in Belleville). Always friendly awesome service. Respectful, kind, friendly … just A+++ service.
Their food is delicious and consistent. You know when you order from them your going to get great food.
Their summer rolls are so yummy . My kids fight over them ! Their soups are amazing ! The spices are on the dot…. Just a nice balance of lemongrass and ginger … absolutely Devine! If you haven’t tried them I strongly recommend you do.
My Favorite place to go in a pinch and/or If I plan on eating good for the night. DEFINITELY a must have.
One of the better Thai restaurants I've been to. The food was really good and the wait staff were attentive and polite.
Food was really good. Service was good and everyone was very nice!
Best Thai Food around!
My favorite Thai restaurant in the area
I have a Thai wife and have ate Thai food all over Thailand, and this Just wasn’t very good.
I absolutely ADORE their food! My family & I always make it a point to eat here when we're all together. Also, the owners are super sweet & friendly which is a bonus to delicious food!
Really bad
It's EXCELLENT! We had a group of 18 adults & 3 children, & the staff was Fantastic!!! They hustled, & did wonderfully keeping track of everyone's meals & drinks & requests. The food was Perfectly cooked & served as promptly as possible for such a large group, & we were absolutely made to feel Welcome. I've returned time & time again for special occasions, & will continue to do so in the future! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
Fantastic!! The food as always was phenomenal! We went there for a birthday lunch for my Wife, friends got wind of it and 21 people showed up. The staff was exceptional! They worked with us and kept everyone happy and full. They were awesome. So much respect and admiration for the staff at this place. Highly Recommend.
❤️❤️❤️❤️ this place! Great food and Friendly Service!
Cashew Nut Chicken 🐔 is my husband's favorite dish and they do this and more well!
I really hate leaving a negative review on local business pages, but would want this kind of feedback when considering Thai restaurants in O’Fallon. The service was amazing, but the food was not. With the price, I was expecting much higher and authentic quality. It was lacking taste and was over cooked compared to other Thai restaurants in O’Fallon.
Loved! Best yellow curry I've had. Great service. Great people!!
Ordered the fried rice with shrimp. Paid extra to have shrimp and it only had 4 little shrimp in it. So I basically ate just rice. Not worth it at all. Very disappointed.
The food is always delicious and the portions align with the prices. The customer service is always phenomenal!
Yummy sweet and delicious 😋🤤😋🤤😋🤤😋
Deliciousness in a "to-go" box. I've been craving a drunken noodle dish I used to enjoy monthly from my favorite place in southern California and this was pretty close. The noodles were much thicker than I'm used to, the CA place must've been using a house version of egg noodles. Anywho, absolutely delicious. Thanks again.
Great food and excellent service!
Absolutely amazing flavor! Pho soup and the pad sou eww noodles were the best we have had
Meh, paid extra for beef, not much came with it. Added shrimp but it still had the shrimp poop in it and tasted boiled. Ordered Thai hot and it was barely spicy. Won't return unfortunately. Waitress was lovely however.
I ordered food for the first time yesterday. The curry was okay but I asked for white rice instead of fried rice. The young lady charged me more for fried rice and when I called about it she said if I no longer have my receipt then I have no proof that it happened. That is horrible customer service and I will never order here again because of this experience.
Amazing food, good service, loved it....
The food was amazing and the service was great!!! I recommend to get the red curry spice lvl 1 😀🍛🥢
Good food, friendly servers
Thip's is our favorite Thai restaurant in this area. The spice levels vary according to who is cooking, but it is always fresh and delicious! The summer rolls, Thai iced tea, Tom Kha, Cashew Nut and Pad Thai are our favorites!
Great service and excellent food! We had the Pad See Ew and the Cashew Chicken and both were yummy. Will be returning.
Yummy food and friendly staff! I enjoyed the authentic decorations in the dining room..made me homesick from when I lived in Bangkok, Thailand.
I highly recommend the chicken skewers with peanut sauce appetizer and Pad Thai!🤤
Been going to thai restaurants for years, and been to them in other states no comparison, the best food ever, and very good service.
We had order to go. Pia Thia and pan woo sen with chicken. All noodles and hardly any chicken. We gave a 3 because the potstickers were the only thing good.
We are long time patrons of Thip's Thai. Their food is made to order and delicious. Once you find your favorite dish, it's hard to stray from it. My favorites are their Udon Drunken Noodle and their yellow curry with shrimp. The service is always great and I love how you can pick your level of spiciness.
Thips is one of my favorites. The food is great and the service is awesome and friendly.
